This is a Roll For Shoes game. The rules are fairly simple and are roughly eight lines long. You can find the rules if you search "Roll For Shoes" or just head over here:

http://story-games.com/forums/discussion/11348/microdungeons-i-roll-to-see-if-i-have-shoes-on

I'll be keeping track of Billy's inventory and skills with this Jewgle document:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/13o9qWiN5lThz27xdxvfUJJJWESGLY0ozPk50MZRyMtE/edit?usp=sharing

Okay, here we go!

Hey there everyone! Climb inside that kid over there, that's right! Yeah, the one with the hat and t-shirt. This is Billy, and he'll be your very own meat-puppet. He's interesting enough, I guess. Billy is just an average north american kid who lives with his whore of a mother.

That's her in the skirt and red hair. Mother is very neglectful of Billy, and often send him off to do her errands.

"BILLY!" Mother screeches with her hands on her hips and a frown across her face. "YOU'RE A USELESS SON AND THAT'S WHY YOUR FATHER DIED. GO BUY ME SOME CIGARETTES!" She throws a wad of cash at Billy, that totals around thirty dollars. That's enough for at least two packs of cigs.

What do?

Oh, and uh roll 1d100 and the lowest score gets to choose what happens. Billy begins with Do Anything (1) for now, so if you want to make an action roll to get picked, and then roll 1d6.

Billy stuffed all of his things into his trusty backpack and walked out the door. Mother didn't stop him, she didn't seem to care.

On his way over to wherever he was off to, Billy came across an old homeless man, begging for money.

Billy reaches out with his mind, and finds that the man is sad due to his lack of monetary resources. But, you already knew that.

Billy throws a punch and knocks the dirty bum out cold. He had $2.35 in his money can, shooting your stash of cash up to $32.35.

Oh, and I'll start rolling as apart of the posts. If your score is higher, Billy succeeds, if lower, he fails, and if it is the same, then it comes out to a tie. When ties occur, Billy both wins and fails.

When an player rolls a six, the action that player attempted becomes a skill and is one die more powerful than the previous skill used. So, if anon had rollled a six to try and read the bum's mind, Billy would have gotten the ESP (2) skill.

You're supposed to roll both 1d100 and the appropriate amount of d6es. Is that possible?

Anyways, Billy goes around town and looks for viable ways to make some more money. He could stoop to begging, like the homeless man that he just knocked out, live a life of crime, or get a job.

Just as our boy was deep in thought a man's rough and meaty hand grasps Billy's shoulder. "You lookin' to make some quick cash, kid?"

My Question OP what's the cooldown rate of our skills? Since if we can get double exp for failing why isn't that skill always in use? If it isn't in use all the time, guess we should use it when it cools down and when we fail.

Also if you make a new thread, it'll get bump since this one is too old to get bump any more.
