>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirty (thirty one) year old man named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have fifteen minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls were once used to determine success or failure. But, due to the rather unpredictable nature of the dice essentially making it irrelevant whether or not you made smart decisions, were fighting outside your weight class, etc, we're going to do away with those, at least for the time being.

This quest sometimes uses music, and this website is not good with embed videos from youtube. So, it may be that you want to open youtube links in a new tab so they start at the right part.

I hope everyone has fun.

Holy shit you are alive!! Glad to see you back man.
>>
After an Earth-shaking battle for the fate of the human race and who knows how many other creatures across the universe, facing off against a beast that came back stronger every time you struck him down, you'd think there'd be nothing that could fill you with any more dread.

Yet, as you observe the swarm of reporters at your gates, their cameras already flashing as they obnoxiously scream over one-another to get your attention and voice their questions, you almost wish that Cell would pop back up and sock you in the face. Trunks is obviously feeling similarly, but seeing as he's not the world champion, he deals with that feeling by wishing you luck, turning, and running indoors.

There's really only two options here. One, you can go talk to the reporters, answer a few questions, and get them to leave. Or two, you can take any one of a million other actions that will result in your darling wife showing off a fury far more ferocious than anything Cell could ever produce. And considering the day you've already had, you'd rather Bulma be in a good mood.

With a defeated sigh, you take step after dread-filled step toward the men and women who right now look more like a plague of locusts than anything else. You understand that they want to know what happened, but you'd really like to take a nap, or celebrate with your family before you have to deal with these people. But, what are you going to do? You're the world champion, and the people want to hear what happened from your mouth.

"Mr. Tofoo!" you hear about a hundred people call out as you get closer.

And then the questions fly.

"What happened after the cameras went down?"

"Is Cell really dead?"

"Did you defeat him?"

"What do you have to say about the rumors that the Cell Games were a publicity stunt?"

"Is it true that you're having an affair with Tights Brief?"

"Is the nightmare finally over?"

>A. Tell them the truth; it was actually Kori and Konattsu, the two finalists of the last junior tournament, that defeated Cell.

>B. Take the credit, it was all you.

>C. It was a team effort; Earth's champions worked together to defeat Cell.

You don't see any point in lying, especially considering the two fighters that defeated Cell are each stronger than you, and know where you live. It would really suck if one or both of your nieces found out you lied and took credit for what they did.

Not that fear's what motivates you, but it's something that makes you glad you aren't some greedy jerk that would steal glory from children.

And so you tell the reporters the truth, that Kori and Konattsu, the two remarkable young warriors from the last junior division of the World Martial Arts Tournament were the ones who finally put an end to Cell's reign of terror. Predictably, the reactions to such a statement are mixed, with a few reporters quickly laughing at the assumed joke, and scores of others looking quite confused. You have to admit, the bewilderment on their faces is pretty funny.

"Do you mean to tell us that two young girls succeeded where you failed?" one of the men in the crowd asks, which draws a few glares from some of his female colleagues for some reason.

"Yeah, that's pretty much it," you state plainly.

"But, you were clearly winning the fight," a woman in the crowd protests. "In fact, it looked like you'd killed Cell."

The crowd becomes noisy again, reporting what you've said and debating how events transpired in such a way. Deciding that you've said enough for one day, having put everyone's minds at ease regarding Cell, you turn away from the crowd without another word, going inside as your son did just a few minutes ago. You can hear a handful of voices calling after you, but you pay them no mind. The battle is over, the world is safe for today, and it's time you take some time, no matter how brief, away from being a warrior to be with your family.

Stepping inside and making your way past the areas of the building that are used for the family's company, you come to one of the living rooms to find Bulma and her mother fussing over big Trunks, while little Trunks and Doctor Brief sit on recliners, orange juice and scotch respectively. The tasty beverage in your son's hand is quickly forgotten when he sees you, and he's on his feet in front of you before you even have time to blink.

"Dad!" he shouts joyously, throwing his arms around your waist and consequently splashing some juice onto the floor. "You did it!"

That little declaration is able to break Bulma out of her tunnel-vision toward your future son, and she gives you a smile that makes your heart skip a beat before running over and throwing her arms around you in a tight hug. She plants a kiss on your lips before taking a step back and placing her hands on her hips.

"You had me a little worried there, you know. Especially when Trunks came in without you."

"Making you worry just makes you happier to see me," you point out, feeling your lips curl in a smirk. "How can I not take advantage of that?"

Bulma glares at you, but it doesn't last, and soon she's even laughing a bit. "You never change, Tofoo."

"Besides, you should know better than to doubt me by now," you lecture. "No way I was going to screw up my first week of being Guardian by having the world blow up."

"Dad, it's been more than a week," the big Trunks points out before accepting a glass of milk from Bulma's mom.

"Now you see why I worry," Bulma teases, shaking her head.

"Don't worry, be happy," you encourage her, pulling out the good stuff you'd wanted to your beautiful wife the second you got home. "I come bearing gifts."

Bulma lowers her gaze, eyes widening and jaw dropping as you whip your little "present" out right in front of her and everyone else in the room. She seems stunned by the size of it, and the fact that it's there in your hand in the first place. But, she soon recovers from her shock, reaches out, and wraps her hand around it. She gives a tug, and you release your own grip on it, letting her take it from here. She holds it in front of her face, taking a moment to admire it before she finds her voice.

"I didn't think any of Gero's research would be left," she remarks as she examines the thick volume of documents with which you've presented her. "I can't wait to study these. Gero may have been a rotten old man, but he was a genius. There's no telling what I can learn from his work."

Doctor Brief gets off of his recliner and walks to join in the conversation, peering at the documents his daughter's holding.

"We could get started on this right away," he suggests, stroking the tiny cat on his shoulder. "No time like the present."

"Nah," Bulma says to him. "I'm excited, too, but I think we've all had enough work and worry for one day."

"I agree," Mrs Brief says. "Why don't I make some cookies and hot coco, and all of us watch a movie, or play a board game, or just have a nice chat?"

Board games actually sound like fun. You ask which ones everyone wants to play, and after a few minutes of debate, everyone settles on monopoly. Before that inevitable mess can begin, though, you tell the big Trunks that you want to speak with him privately.

The two of you leave the room, finding a place where you can speak without being disturbed. That place ends up being beside the fish ponds out back. You watch some of the large-eyed goldfish that Doctor Brief likes to keep swim around near the water's edge, hoping that you've come to give them some food. They swim off, disappointed, leaving you and Trunks truly alone to speak.

Well, mostly for you to speak. Trunks doesn't initiate the conversation. He just sort of stands there and waits for you to say what you need to say.

"I've got an idea of how the Dragon Balls from your timeline can be brought back," you tell your son, getting right to the point.

"New Namek, right?" he asks, clearly having already considered your general idea.

"Exactly," you tell him with a smile. "We can go to the New Namek in your time, and use their Dragon Balls to bring back the others. Then, maybe you can become Guardian, or we just wish Kami back."

"We?" Trunks asks.

"I want to come with you," you explain to your son, your determination booming in your voice. "I want to help you like you helped me."

"You've already helped me plenty," Trunks replies. "Thanks to you, I've gained strength and experience that even Kori and Konattsu never had back in my time. I know I'm strong enough to fix things there. Gero, his armies, his androids, even if there's a Cell walking around there, I can handle it all. You've helped me more than you know. Now it's time for me to help myself, help the world, my world."

While his voice oozed with determination to match yours just a moment ago, his next works are of solemn acceptance.

"Dad, you won't be able to stay in my time with me," he points out. "Even if I can wish you back, it won't be the same you. And even if it was, I can't just have others fight my battles and solve my problems for me forever."

Trunks turns his eyes toward the sky, a distant look in his eyes. His mind's probably further away than you can possibly comprehend. Another world, another time, another life.

"You died when I was very young," he tells you. "I don't remember much of what it was like to have you around. But, mom always told me stories about the kind of man you were, and all the good you did. No matter what you were up against, no matter what you had to give, you fought with all of your spirit. I looked up to that, and I still do. So did Kori and Konattsu. Mom and them used to tell me all about Goku and Krillin, too, about all of the struggles they overcame, the challenges you all faced together, and how all of you always pushed to be the best, to keep climbing to greater heights. Well, they were the children of Goku and Krillin, I'm the son of Tofoo, and we all tried to follow in our parent's footsteps. We struggled, we fought, we bled, we pushed ourselves to higher and higher heights, and fought for our world with all of our spirits. Kori and Konattsu gave their lives for the world, but I'm still here. And thanks to you, I can overcome this challenge, and keep pushing myself to be ready for the next."

He sighs, coming back to Earth. "I'm rambling, but what I'm trying to say is that this world has its defenders, and its your duty to protect it. In my world, that's my job, and so far I haven't done it very well. Konattsu died saving me, and I couldn't help Kori, but now I can stand on my own two feet and carry the torch. I need to, I'm the only one left. But if I'm going to carry it alone, I need to be able to take the first step by myself. You understand?"

>A. Yes.

>B. Tell Trunks there's no shame in taking help from others. After all, he helped save this time.

>C. That's a bunch of crap. If he uses Namek's Dragon Balls, he won't have to be alone, so he won't have to stop taking help.

"It's your decision," you tell your son, not knowing what more to say than that.

You aren't sure if you completely agree with what he's saying, but you also can't say that you don't understand it at least a little bit. You also can't deny the pride you feel toward your son. He hasn't had it easy, but he has grown to be a good man. He's ready to take the weight of the world on his shoulders and go the distance, and you believe that he can do it. You still wish to be by his side in case he needs you. But, whether you die in battle or simply are lost to age, you won't always be there to help him. He's going to need to stand on his own someday, and it seems he's chosen now as that day. Sadness and pride war within you over this, and you chalk it up to just part of being a parent.

"Come on," he says to you. "Let's go back inside."

"Hold on," you call to your son as he begins to leave you behind.

He stops, half-turning to look at you, and saying nothing, simply letting the silence hang in the air between you.

"I want to test you, first," you explain to him. "Let's see if you can back up your big talk at all."

Of course, you know that he can. A blind man could tell you that his old strength didn't even compare to the power that he now possesses. He knows it, and you know it. But, you still want to test him, and you get the feeling that the idea interests him as well.

"One last spar with your old man," you challenge. "I want to feel the difference between the you that first came here, and the you now."

Trunks turns toward you completely, eyes twinkling with excitement. "Alright."

Obviously, you can't have this battle right here at Capsule Corp, so the two of you take off and fly far from the city limits, finding a barren area where you can fight to the fullest without having to worry about destruction. Here you can see what your son is truly capable of.

Trunks stands across from you, determination on his face and a familiar green aura appearing around his body. That alone makes plain the tremendous difference between then and now, but that isn't going to stop this match.

"Alright, dad," Trunks addresses you. "I hope you're ready for this."

Trunks is going to give you his all, and if you truly want to test him, you suppose it's only right that you answer in kind. You don't know how well the boy will handle it, but some tough love might do him some good. As he stands waiting, staring at you expectantly, you make up your mind. A proper focus of your energy, and it seems to vanish altogether from your senses. A blue aura illuminates the space around your body, and though you can't truly sense it, you know that your power has climbed to incredible heights. The power of a god now flows through you, and your son stands against it without fear.

That's your boy.

No words are needed right now, just the language of battle. Without delay, you launch yourself forward, and Trunks rushes to meet you, the two of you closing distance in a flash and colliding with terrible power. Your fists slam together, sending out a shockwave that shatters nearby plateaus, sending chunks of rock flying and falling in scattered areas all around you. Both you and your son put incredible strength into your punches, and so someone will eventually have to give.

That someone is Trunks, who slides back across the rocky ground, digging in his feet to slow himself to a stop. You don't give him a chance to rest or think, launching yourself toward him once more. This time, rather than answering strength with strength, he ducks beneath your strike, spinning and dropping into a crouch while bringing his left elbow into your gut. As you jerk forward and allow a sizable amount of spit to fly from your mouth, he brings his right hand up to your face and fires a beam of energy right into it, hurling you into the air where you tumble back and upside down, over and over before righting yourself.

Looking down, you see that Trunks is giving chase to press the attack, and so you rain a barrage of energy blasts down on him, the small projectiles hammering away at your son like a torrential downpour. He brings his arms up and crosses them in front of his body, blocking off the worst of it, but he isn't able to fend off your next attack as effectively as you drop down on top of him, your foot crashing into his arms as you deliver an Earth-shattering kick.

You push him back down to the ground, the force of your attack so great that the two of you crash through the rocky land beneath and drop far beneath the surface, finding yourselves suddenly within a dark cavern, illuminated only barely by the auras surrounding the two of you. When Trunks hits solid ground again, he's able to stop himself from being pushed down further. You throw a kick at his face with your free leg, but he ducks out of the way, grabbing you by the ankle and spinning to slam you on your back.

>Continued
>>
>>2833262

Another kick frees you from his grip, and you roll back, standing up only to be tackled through a stalagmite and knocked to the ground once again, with Trunks on top of you this time. He raises a fist to strike, but a quick Bear Shout throws him off of you and onto his back. You're right back on your feet, but Trunks fires off a wave of energy toward you. You manage to barely move to the side in time to avoid being hit, but the wave serves the secondary purpose of pushing Trunks away, giving him some distance.

Not wanting to let that slide, you use the Kai-Kai to teleport in the direction he's heading, appearing behind him as he continues to propel himself with the energy attack. Catching him off-guard, you manage to pick him up and suplex him back to the ground. He rolls with the impact, letting out a roar as his energy flares up, and the aura surrounding him seems to somehow change. It's hard to describe, but it feels different from the usual control of the Kuma-Ken.

Whatever it is, it fades quickly, but Trunks still looks pissed, and his next punch is so powerful that, even though you block it with your arms, the wind it creates leaves a small cut in your cheek. The impact also pushes you back, and another energy wave keeps you going.

>A. Kai-Kai behind him again and try to disable him with precise and brutal attacks

Alright, fighting Trunks this way is too uncertain for your liking. He's putting up a better fight than you were expecting, but he won't win, not if you're smart about how you approach this. You fight well enough on offense, and your energy control is among the best in the world, but sometimes it helps to go back to the basics. You developed the Bear School of martial arts, and Konattsu's battle with Cell reminded you just how incredible that can be. You're proud of her for taking what you developed to such amazing heights, but you can't help but feel miffed at being surpassed at your own style by a child.

Maybe you should get back into the old style, and there's no teacher like experience.

You dig your feet in and endure the power of your son's blast, holding it off with all of your strength and struggling against it, ultimately managing to push it aside with great effort. It blows a hole in one of the cavern walls, but you're still in one piece. Planning to stay that way, you adopt your classic defensive pose.

Trunks sees what you're doing and comes at you with everything he has. The next strike from your son creates shockwaves that cause the entire cavern to tremble, threatening to bring it crashing down on both of your heads. You're pretty sure your arm's bruised from the trouble as well, and you feel your face twist in pain, but you stand firm.

Trunks pauses, observing the trembling rock surrounding the two of you.

"So, convinced?" he asks, looking at you again.

His feelings are clear. He wants to stop this before it gets well and truly out of hand. If he's satisfied your desire to test his mettle, then he wants to stop.

After the sucker-punches you just gave him, Trunks is pissed off and resumes attacking you with everything he has. You find yourself wishing that you hadn't allowed yourself to get a bit rusty with the Bear Style, as few but far too many of your son's attacks pierce your defenses and subject you to a world of hurt. The cavern trembles violently as the two of you battle, but Trunks has ceased caring, and attacks with unwavering ferocity. If anything, his blows seem more powerful than they did before. That must be something he got from Kori, whose main style of fighting seems to be constantly getting angrier and using that anger to draw strength.

Finally, an opening reveals itself, and you land a solid uppercut to Trunk's jaw, throwing him off of his feet, and leaving enough of an opening for you to hit him with another Bear Shout. The blast strikes him dead-center and sends him crashing through the cavern ceiling. You give chase, only to find him waiting for you as you emerge into the daylight above. He throws a kick that you just barely manage to move your head to avoid, though once again the gust from it cuts your cheek.

He comes rushing in, throwing a punch that you catch in your palm. He opens his fist, locking hands with you, and does the same with his other hand. The two of you flare your energies, pushing against each-other in a simple struggle of strength. Red light shines around your hands and wrists, a visual manifestation of the potent energy passing between you and your son. It pulses and rages, eventually reaching a breaking point and throwing you both back in a powerful explosion.

You hit the ground hard, the wind knocked from your lungs as you impact against the rock. Sitting up, you manage to spot your son in a similar state, though he's getting himself up a hair slower than you are. Wincing, you force yourself to stand, getting back into your stance as you prepare for the next round.

Trunks rises again, scowling as he looks at you with furious eyes. You see something in his gaze more dangerous than anger, though. There's a great deal of confidence that you didn't see just a moment ago, as if he's sure that he's about to claim victory for himself.

>A. Attack him with all you have! Force him to defend!

>B. Stick to the Bear Style! Go on the defensive and wait for another opening.

>C. You might need to finish this fast before he turns things completely in his favor. The Power Geyser might do the trick.

Make it seem we are going back to our bear style in order trick him into another close quarter. Then unleash a explosive wave in order to catch him off guard and use that opportunity for a bear punch.
He can't sense our energy while we are in god form so it would harder for him to figure out we are gathering energy.

Whatever Trunks plans on doing, the best thing you can do is brace yourself for it. You dig in your feet and prepare to fend him off, trusting that your godly powers and the Bear Style of martial arts will see you through. Whatever he throws at you, you can stop it. Whatever you can't stop, you can endure. You are a wall, a mountain, you are a great and mighty bear, and you will not be brought low by anyone, not even your own son.

"Don't think you can fight me off forever, dad," Trunks cautions, beginning to step forward.

His posture is relaxed, as if he's completely certain that you aren't a threat right now. Granted, he can see you digging in on the defensive, so it's probably safe for him to assume that you won't attack until he gets closer, but something about how confident he looks right now is concerning. And despite his relaxed movements, you can feel the energy bouncing around inside his every muscle, waiting to be unleashed. He's going to come at you hard.

Well, you're ready.

Trunks comes a few steps closer before leaping forward, pulling back his right arm for a punch.

You frown, disappointed. Sure, the power is clearly there, but he's making himself hopelessly easy to counter by broadcasting his movements like that. You have all the time in the world to deal with an attack like that. You raise your arm, ready to fend off the opening punch, only to gasp as a terrible, stabbing pain goes through your right leg.

Looking down on instinct, you can just barely see the golden light fading away after passing through you, a signature move of the Crane School leaving its mark on your body. That temporary distraction allows Trunks to slug you with that obvious punch, his fist slamming into your cheek and sending you sliding back. Hissing in pain, you look toward your son, whose right hand is still clenched in a fist, and whose left hand is still pointing a finger at your leg.

He lowers his arms, and his aura flares, the energy within him raging at the very edge of freedom. His eyes lock with yours, and you brace yourself for another assault.

He races toward you in an avalanche of power, quickly coming within range and throwing another punch. You manage to block, though your arm goes a little bit numb from the experience. Another punch that you manage to block follows, and a kick, and then a palm-strike that catches you in the throat, throwing off your rhythm as you suddenly can't breathe, and knocking you off-balance, allowing Trunks to throw another kick that catches you right in your gut, further knocking the air from you and throwing you off of your feet. As you fly back, he grabs hold of your left ankle, pulling you back in so that he can deliver an energy blast right to your face. As you cry out in pain and disorientation, you feel an elbow strike your stomach, and your body subsequently crashing into the ground.

You feel a sudden change, your energy becoming detectable again, and as you open your eyes, you see that your blue aura has vanished.

"Well done, son," you tell your boy, your voice rather hoarse at first. "I give up."

Trunks lets go of you, and you fall back to the ground, grunting in displeasure at the sensation. Looking up, you watch your son take a deep breath, and the aura around him vanish, his energy returning to normal, and his demeanor following. While a moment ago he looked ready to put you six feet under, he's now offering a hand to help you to your feet, and you gladly accept.

The two of you return home, stepping inside to find a board set up, and your family sitting around waiting. Bulma sighs when she sees you and Trunks.

"Well that figures," she groans. "Just promise me that you won't punch each-other during the game."

Considering you're playing monopoly, you aren't certain you can keep such a promise. The second someone buys Penguin Village, there may very well be bloodshed. Though the chances of that are decreased slightly since Launch isn't here.

Family board-games go by pleasantly. There are some hiccups, such as Doctor Brief conspiring with little Trunks conspiring to buy up several of the most valuable properties and work against everyone else, and Mrs. Brief threatening to withhold cookies if she isn't given a "get-out-of-jail-free" card. And there's the threat Bulma whispers in your ear when you try to buy Penguin Village before she can. That takes some of the fun out of it (though the alternative means losing a lot more fun over a longer period of time, so in the end you're going with the lesser of two evils), but despite everything, you enjoy yourself.

As the hours pass, little Trunks gets drowsy, and is put to bed despite his protests. Mrs. Brief grows tired of board games and sits on the couch with her husband, having a drink. You, Bulma, and the older version of your son play for a little while longer, but after losing to Bulma for the third time in a row, you decide to call it quits.

Soon, everyone's lounging around while Doctor Brief flips through TV channels trying to find something good to watch. Big Trunks lets out a yawn and announces that he's going to bed, wishing everyone a good night before leaving.

Eventually Bulma just flips on a channel that's showing one of Pamput's old movies. The actual man might be kind of a wuss, but in his movies he's a badass action hero, and the films are pretty entertaining. You're pretty sure this is "Cybernetic Samurai 3: The Revenge", but there's so many movies in that series that they kind of just blend together.

Bulma snuggles up to you on the couch, resting her head on your shoulder as she, you, and her parents enjoy the relaxation and entertainment. As the hours pass, and the film comes to an end, Dr. Brief announces that he's going to get some sleep so he can start on his research bright and early tomorrow.

"Sleep sounds wonderful," Mrs. Brief declares, getting up to leave the room with her husband.

"Now, don't you two get up to anything naughty in here," Doctor Brief warns you and Bulma, which leaves your wife fuming.

She's about to shout something at him, but thinks better of it when she remembers that Trunks (both versions) are trying to sleep. So she just sits there silently and steams, gripping you painfully hard until her father leaves the room.

"Ugh...." she growls. "It was bad enough when he said stuff like that when we were teenagers. Does he really need to keep making comments like that now that we're married and have a son?"

>A. Tell her that's just the way he is and it probably won't change.

>B. Well, you won't lie, you were thinking about it, so maybe he had a good reason to give that warning.

>C. He just likes getting a rise out of her

"Well," you respond, smiling playfully at Bulma. "I won't lie, I was thinking about it."

"Tofoo!" Bulma gasps, her face reddening a bit. before she lets out a laugh, turning and giving you a deep kiss.

You expect her to suggest going to your room, but instead she climbs into your lap, grabs you by the collar, and kisses you again, moving her lower body in a way that gets you standing at attention right away.

Suffice it to say, you and Bulma don't listen to the instructions Doctor Brief gave you. And boy are you glad for that, because what the two of you do is pretty incredible. Who cares if you had to cover each-other's mouths to keep from making too much noise, and had to clean the cushions after? Neither one of you can be bothered to care. All you can do is clean up your mess and go to your room for a repeat performance or two.

The next morning, you wake up with your wife in your arms, and feeling pretty damn good.

>A. Just lie there for a while

Getting out of bed carefully so as not to wake Bulma, you get showered and dressed before heading out to see what the others are up to.

The first person you come across is Oolong, who looks pretty pissed off at you. When you ask him what's wrong, he says something about betting a bunch of money on you beating Cell and being furious that a couple of little kids did it instead.

"I'm going to get a snack...." he grumbles, heading for the kitchen, which you expect to find ransacked later.

Judging by the smells coming from that direction, Mrs. Brief is making some delicious snacks that Oolong will soon claim for himself. There's no sign of your older son, but you suspect you'll find the younger Trunks with your father-in-law. And sure enough, that's exactly what happens.

You go to the lab to see Doctor Brief looking over the documents you brought home yesterday, with Trunks sitting on a stool beside him and doing the same. As you get closer, you can hear Doctor Brief explaining what they're looking at in as simple of terms as possible. You aren't sure how much of it Trunks really understands, but he's giving his grandpa his complete attention, so hopefully he's absorbing something.

Everyone seems to be preoccupied doing their own thing, so you decide to go pay a visit to one of your friends. Goku's the first on your mind, and you teleport yourself to Jingle Village with a phrase, instantly cursing yourself for not remembering a coat. A few of the villagers look mildly surprised to see you appear out of thin air, but most don't seem that interested, which is unsurprising given that their chief is Goku.

A short walk brings you to the steps of the home Goku and Suno share, and the door swings open before you're even given a chance to knock, revealing the grinning face of your old friend.

"Hey!" he greets cheerfully.

"Hey, Tofoo!" Suno calls from somewhere in the house. "Goku, aren't you going to invite him in?"

"I didn't think I needed to," Goku answers, already turning and walking back into the house fully expecting you to come in and close the door behind you.

Kori isn't there to greet you. Quickly locating her energy not too far away, you figure she's out playing with Eighter as usual.

"So what's up?" Suno asks, entering the room with three mugs of hot coco on a tray.

Summarize of what happened and while we agreeded to his own decision a part of us still wants him to at least not be alone in the future. Were fine with us not being resurrected, but that doesn't mean we want the future Kori and Konattsu to remain dead.
I mean we had Goku and Krillin, if anything Trunks is still going to need friends he can trust at the end of the day to be with him in that harsh future.
