Ten years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza’s army. Since that fateful day, the Saiyans have earned the title of warrior race as Freeza’s soldiers, leading the charge onto hundreds of worlds and facing down all who oppose Lord Freeza’s rule. As mighty conquerors crushing all resistance, the Saiyans have earned their reputation as Freeza’s most powerful subjects.

The larger than life tales of the Saiyans, and especially the Super Saiyans, have spread to every corner of the civilized universe. Epics of the golden warrior or warriors facing down demons, wizards, assassins, armies, champions, and even surviving against both Freeza and the Arbiter are told universe-wide. The mere mention of Super Saiyans inspires awe, admiration, jealousy, or fear, depending on who you ask. This has now lead to the Covenant assembling a mighty army 30,000 warships strong to exterminate the Saiyans once and for all. The Arbiter has arrived, it has all come down to this!

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 741, the ten-year anniversary of the Saiyans joining the PTO. You the players control Karn, a Saiyan Berserker with a known base powerlevel of 820,000, a general in Lord Freeza’s army, mate to Meloka, father of Chaya, Chilli and Broly(adoptive), and an inspiration to both the other Saiyans and the rest of the PTO.

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The battle has been hard, most of your close allies are either injured like Meloka and Vegeta, simply exhausted like Bardock, Turles, Nappa, and Tunnip, or five minutes away like Freeza and Ubo. King Cold came through for you all, removing their anti-magic barrier and allowing Raven to re-open her portal between New Salda and Azar. Many of the wounded are being sent trough now as those who have recovered are returning to fight. But, it may be too little too late. For to the southeast of the city, as we rejoin Karn you can sense it. The Arbiter has arrived directly on New Salda, along with what you sense are one hundred of his Zealots. This is it, the final battle is now upon you!

“He’s already there? Dammit all!” Freeza says telepathically. “Five minutes, just hold out for five minutes. And don’t you do anything too reckless.”
“We’ll do our best.” you reply, Freeza ending the link as several people all try to telepathically communicate with you at once. Your brain struggles to comprehend what they’re all saying, until you’ve had enough.

“Everyone, shut up!” you telepathically shout, silencing the voices. “Yes, the Arbiter’s here. Now we need to figure out our next move, and quick. Anyone have any ideas?”

At this everyone is quiet a moment, until someone finally speaks up.

“We fought him before, back on Azar.” Meloka says. “We may be tired, but we’re also much stronger than before. If we both use your stone and restore our strength then go and fight him together, we can beat him this time!”
“Or get overwhelmed by his forces.” King Vegeta says. “You’re both exhausted and your shoulder is injured. Can’t risk it yet. We should attack his soldiers with hit-and-run tactics, wipe out his soldiers before trying to engage him directly.”
“Or you could always challenge him to a duel.” Turles says. “Get him in a one-on-one, then we’ll all attack while he’s distracted fighting you. There’s no honor in killing him like that, but it’s far better than us all dying.”

And what will you do?
>Wait and see what the Arbiter does, then react. No need to attack recklessly now
>Hit-and-run attacks with the other Super Saiyans, cut his forces down before trying to face him
>Challenge him directly to a duel
>Return to base form and simply rest, you need to let your body recover more before facing him
>Final Flash his ship, hopefully thin out his ranks
>Other(write in)

And as for the Bloodstone:
>Recover your full strength with the Bloodstone, empty it

>Save the Bloodstone for later, cant give out the trump card yet.
Unless he starts moving towards us, we wait, doesn't matter if he does or doesn't. We need to rest for the final push, and if he felt like charging he wont give us time to pull back to the others. If we have the time we do it and rest with our comrades while they deal with the chaff.

“Calm down. Calm down Karn, and think.” you tell yourself, dropping your Ascended form. You also drop your normal Super Saiyan form as well, returning to your base form and sitting in the ancient shipwreck’s bridge with your legs crossed. The Arbiter’s playing it cautiously, he had his ship teleported to New Salda to avoid it getting shot down in space this time. He’s clearly wary of what you all can do. That means he’ll likely play it conservatively at first, giving you the one thing you need the most: time.

“Meloka, get Tatsu through the portal and looked at, then rest yourself for a bit.” you tell her. “We need to play it smart if we want to win this. Who’s still good to fight?”

Nappa, Tunnip, Turles, and King Vegeta all say that they are ready to go. Bardock says he needs a minute, having been defending the Guardian.

“King Vegeta, your plan of hit-and-run is probably our best bet right now.” you say, tracking the Arbiter and his men via ki sense. “The Arbiter himself probably won’t engage you all yet, he seems to be wary of getting pulled into an ambush. So take his Zealots out quickly, but don’t get bogged down fighting. If you do, they’ll probably kill you. Good luck everyone, and good hunting.”

With that you close your eyes, rest your hands palms-up on your knees, end the psychic link, and breathe. You focus on the breathing techniques the Guardian had taught you, of feeling the ki all around you. Not by trying to single one out, but feeling everything. For a few moments everything feels much the same, but then you feel it. Suddenly in your mind you can see everything. Not only every warring Saiyan and Covenant soldier, but everything. You can feel every living being, large or small on New Salda. You feel every creature in the seas, every insect, tree, and even blade of grass. But that’s when you feel it. The strength of the planet itself, the magma’s power just below the planet’s thin crust. And for a solitary moment your own power connected with it. You feel a rush of titanic power throughout your body, causing you to spasm and yelp in surprise and pain. Your concentration broken, the link with everything fades, you laying on your back panting. What the hell was that? You rise to your feet, feeling that alien power surging throughout your body.

“The planet itself, you have felt.” the Guardian’s voice telepathically appears in your head. “Its true strength, you have felt. Chosen you, this world has, to defend it.”

“Chosen?” you ask the ancient alien, confused. “What do you mean, chosen?”
“This destruction by the Covenant, it can feel.” the Guardian tells you. You flare your aura up around you, it now a dark green instead of your usual aura as you feel that primal power bolstering your tired body. Looking around you see a reflective surface, and you notice your eyes are now a dark green as well, yet your hair remains the same. You ponder this as the Guardian continues. “A champion, this world has chosen. Bestowed its own strength upon you, New Salda has.”

-The World’s Champion unlocked-

“I’ll do my best.” you reply to the Guardian, then end the link with him and contact King Vegeta. “How long was I down?”
“It’s been only about a minute and a half so far.” Vegeta tells you as you leave the antique shipwreck, leaping from the ruins of the bridge to land on the ground. You feel yet more strength pouring up into you, rising up through the ground and into your body. This surge of power is tremendous, it seems actually touching the planet boosts the strength it can bestow upon you. “But we’ve hit a problem.”

“What’s wrong?” you reply, focusing on what the King is telling you and preparing to move out. “Nappa and Turles are both down, Tunnip and I are pulling back to send them through the portal and out of danger. Somehow they were ready for our attack!”
“It’s alright King Vegeta, pull back and defend the city for now.” you reply, focusing your senses on the Arbiter’s group. Most of them made it, you can sense 67 Zealots and the Arbiter himself all assembled. “It’s my turn.”
“Wait Karn, what are you doi-?” King Vegeta asks, you severing the mental link and blasting off towards the Arbiter and his men. You feel your strength drop off sharply when your feet leave the ground, your connection with the planet weakening somewhat. You quickly fly towards the Arbiter’s group, mentally preparing yourself for this perhaps-final battle.

You fly until you see the Arbiter’s ship, sitting on the ground surrounded by the wrecks of other Covenant ships and thousands of bodies as more Zealots pour out from inside it. From what you can sense, they’re all out of his ship now and on the planet’s surface. Perfect time to try your luck.

“ARBITER!!” you roar, your voice much louder than you’d ever been. You just chalk it up to whatever New Salda is doing to you, enjoy for a moment how badly you startled several Zealots, and continue. “COME FORTH AND FIGHT ME YOU COWARD! ONE ON ONE! LET’S SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!”

You’d flared your aura out around you as you’d shouted, making sure you couldn’t be missed. And once your declaration was finished you began dropping through the air, landing on the far edge of the scorched earth his ship is resting on. When your feet hit the ground you wince slightly, feeling the planet’s anger surge through you at what they’ve done. Your strength multiplies as well, you taking a deep breath and feeling power rise from the earth, flow through your feet and into your body as you boldly stand, waiting for him to accept your challenge. However, you were kinda expecting what happened next instead.

“KILL HIM!!” the Arbiter shouts, a hail of energy bullets, beams, and pink crystals soaring through the air towards you. You snarl in response, Ascending in a burst of now-green sparks as you activate your Barrier. You quickly begin charging your ki into your palms, preparing to retaliate. The storm of Covenant attacks ends after a few moments the dust they kicked up everywhere cutting their vision. But not yours, you able to ‘see’ each and every one of them with your ki sense.

“Did we get him?” you hear one ask as you deactivate your Barrier, smirking. You say nothing and unleash your attack, throwing hundreds of explosive balls of ki in seconds. “Shit, get down!!”

You throw sphere after sphere, carefully avoiding the Zealots and the Arbiter, bhut hitting the ground near them to kick up dust and cut their vision as well, trapping them within a dome of explosive mines. They remain where you throw them, the dust kicked up around the splitjaws thinning and revealing your attack to them.

>>
>>2816119
“HELLZONE GRENADE!!” you roar, voice even louder now that you’re touching the planet as you swing your arms. The hundreds of blasts move all at once, smashing into the unprepared Sangheili. You hear their cries of pain out above the explosions, you sensing dozens of the creatures perish in the blasts. But many, however, survived. As your attack ends and the smoke clears, you see that many of them activated their own shield devices, protecting them from the rain of death.

You sense that three dozen survived, including the Arbiter, but the rest perished. You watch as the Arbiter leaps up above the others, drawing his blades and pointing his right blade at you.

“KILL HIM!!” he shouts, two dozen or so Zealots drawing blades and charging as the others draw ranged weapons, sighting you in. You flare your golden sparking aura, you noticing the static around your body is now green instead of the usual blue. Your fury rises as the Zealots charge, you unleashing a primal roar of challenge.

Your primal roar causes their charge to falter, intimidating the attacking Zealots for a single moment. Their hesitation gives you all the time you need, holding both arms back and gathering your ki. You’re ready.

“DIE!!” you roar, tossing your first blast. It splits as soon as it leaves your right hand, splitting into dozens of smaller blasts. The charging Zealots have nowhere to hide and no time to dodge, blocking your attack as best as they can. You immediately follow up with your other blast as well, blasting several of them back and away as they try to withstand your power. However, five of them break through, rushing you with blades drawn.

“You bastard!” the closest one shouts, chopping down at you. You slide your left foot back and twist counterclockwise, his blade passing harmlessly by as you slam a fist into his gut. You hit with such force your fist tears through the splitjaw, punching straight through it’s armor and body. You tear your arm free, the creature splitting in half from your strike and falling dead at your feet. As the next one closes in immediately after, aiming to stab you through the armpit with its sword, you simply lean. Its blade sails past harmlessly, you chopping down and severing it’s head and arm from its body. The decapitated corpse continues it’s flight as you turn to face the other three, you hearing the lifeless body crash to the ground.

We’ll kill you for that!!” the last three shout as they charge in together, two from the front and one further to your right. The one directly before you tries for a stab to the head, while the one to it’s right tries to bisect you from shoulder to hip and the third sweeps his blade low at your knees from your right. You twist backwards clockwise, leaving your left foot planted as you avoid the thrust and grab the leftmost Sangheili’s wrist. The slash at your right knee misses as you turn, redirecting the captive blade to slice it’s ally’s arm off and you stomping kick the low Sangheili in the face. You feel its neck snap, head bobbling as it collapses. The one you’d disarmed cries out in pain, reaching for another weapon as the one you grabbed tries to pull its arm free. Before it can you crush it’s wrist, your now-free hand decapitating it with a chop. The one-armed one on the ground draws a grenade, preparing to throw it with it’s left hand. You raise a finger and fire a Death Beam into the orb, it exploding and consuming that Zealot. You then look up, towards the remaining two dozen Zealots and the Arbiter.

“Enough!!” the Arbiter shouts, landing before his troops. They all freeze, turning to look to him. “Everyone, stay back! I’ll handle this one myself.”

“About time.” you say, rising to your full height and walking over the corpses of his subordinates. You feel something crunch beneath you, but you pay it no mind, eyes locked on the Arbiter. He slowly walks towards you as well, both blades drawn. As you approach you notice his right eye is now pure white and his helmet is still scarred from when you’d blasted his eye. “How’s the eye?”
“Painful.” he replies, his good eye twitching beneath his helmet. “You’re the first warrior to ever injure me and survive. I’ll correct that mistake now.”

“Bring it on.” you reply, you both dropping into fighting stances only perhaps five yards apart. As you are now you can’t tell who is stronger between you and him, but as you stand in your stance panting, feeling the burning of your exhausted muscles, you know he’s got much more in his tank than you. If this battle drags on, he could wear you down and maybe even kill you. But Freeza is on his way, the only question is how much longer until he arrives?

You and the Arbiter stare each other down, you both waiting to see who’s going to move first when an idea hits you. A devious, clever idea. You drop your stance and stand tall, pointing your right hand’s pointer finger squarely between the Arbiter’s eyes as you gather a pinpoint of ki in your fingertip.

“You think I’d fall for that again?!” he shouts, blasting off the ground right at you with his left-hand blade covering his face. You smirk, firing your beam squarely at the space between his eyes. He charges you without changing course, closing the distance faster than you were ready for, unable to bend the beam. His blade deflects your attack, him closing to striking range and swinging for your neck. You have only an instant, creating an Afterimage and leaping back. His blade slices through the illusory you’s neck, nearly scratching your neck as well as you leap back. For just a moment he thinks he’s won, you leaping clear as the illusion blurs then fades.

“What the hell was that?” the Arbiter asks, looking around confused a moment before seeing you over a dozen yards away, unharmed. You simply smirk in response, again taking the same stance and preparing your Death Beam. The Arbiter snarls in frustration, charging you again. But this time, he won’t get off so lucky. As your beam closes in to the Arbiter’s head, you focus on redirecting it. With a small effort of will you bend the beam, redirecting it from his face and squarely into the blade’s handle. You did it, but neither of you has time to prepare what happens next.

BOOM

His sword’s handle explodes in an impressive blast, you immediately throwing your Barrier up. The force of the blast is insane, knocking you back across the ground as everything outside your Barrier becomes consumed by the blast. After a moment the plasma storm dies down, you deactivating your Barrier and examining the aftermath. You and the Arbiter are now both inside a shallow crater, your shield having dug a trench as the blast knocked you back. But the Arbiter got off less lucky. You see that his armor is scorched as he rises painfully to his feet, and you both notice at the same time that his left hand is a bloody, mangled mess.

“You bastard!” the Arbiter roars in outrage and pain, that one clearly hurt him. But he’s not done yet. He glares at you, his one good eye full of murderous intent. He’s serious now. You watch as he deactivates his other blade, pulling an odd device from his belt. It looks like the shield device they use, but slightly different. You wonder what he’s planning now.

Why do Super Oozaru when we can go Legendary Super Oozaru!
>>
>>2816876
SSJ3 is super not useful unless you're dead. Or Immortal. It just drains the body of it's Ki too fast.
Not to mention the stupid fact that you lose your eyebrows somehow...
>>
>>2816887
Because Little Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan and I swear to god GD better use his latest design over his old one. That suit is killer.
>>
>>2816888
Well, we are kind of being constantly empowered by the life force of the planet itself at the moment, so I imagine energy drain wouldn't be as much of an issue as normal. I agree generally with your assessment of SSJ3 though.
>>
>>2816891
Yeah, but we have Legendary Super Saiyan too. We just never use it because it makes us murder everyone.

Also, I'd rather have imitation time breaker armor for everyone. Broly can keep the mantle though.
>>

>>

>Gotenks
two autistic kids fueling the form instead of just one person, its a waste of energy and we are not even close enough in power to achieve it.
>>
>>2816925
Point but it shows that it is possible
And just because its The Two Kids in a Trench Coat Doesn't mean its a waste of energy
>>
>>2816925
The energy use thing only applied to Goku because he only had 24 hours on Earth. So when he used it, he drained he became so powerful it drained his remaining time. It's like with SSJ4 Gogeta and SSB Vegito, both forms are so powerful it reduced the amount of time the fusion can be maintained.
Every other time SSJ3 has appeared, the user has been able to stay in it for the fight without much effort, heck it doesn't even reduce fusion time.

I mean, does it drain way more then SSj2? Yeah, definately. Is it better then SSj4 or SSB? Not at all. But it's still a fairly usable form if we acquire it.
>>
>>2816946
>Not a waste of energy
Yes, yes it is. It still requires two to use easily.
>>2816955
And you two keep forgetting, we, aren't, strong enough. We already went over this in like, session 20 something. It will be a long damn time before we get it, and by the time we do we will have infinitely better options.
>>
>>2816955
It’s explicitly not. It’s a failure of a form, literally, as it’s the Saiyan’s body attempting to perform the SSJ4 transformation and failing in the face of the missing tail. 4 and Blue are literally both better in every way.
>>
>>2816672
>stronger

Trunks is weakness embodied. Mental. Emotional. Also his muscles don't glisten properly when covered in sweat. Probably because he doesn't have enough mass. The definition is great but there's not enough substance.
>>
WAIT OH NO WE TOOK OVER AS THE WORLD'S GUARDIAN

WHAT ABOUT NOT!YODA
>>
>>2816964
You said it was an energy wasting form, just because you want to move goalposts now and claim you've just been saying we aren't strong enough, doesn't mean your initial statement isn't incorrect.

Also, both you and >>2816966 are assuming we'll have something better by the time we get SSJ3. We might, we might not.
Also, I explicitly said it wasn't as good as SSB and SSJ4, that doesn't mean that SSJ3 isn't useful.
>>

Whatever that is, it can’t be anything good for you. So instead of waiting to find out what his device does, you again lift your hand and fire a Death Beam straight at the device. The Arbiter sees your attack coming and moves, placing his body between your beam and the device. Your beam takes the Arbiter in the back, you hearing him grunt in pain as your beam punches through his armor and into his body. You watch, surprised, as the Arbiter falls limply to the ground. A hush falls over the battlefield, you and the Zealots all shocked by what he did.

You all watch in stunned silence, the Arbiter not immediately getting back up. His device activates, an odd pulsing green shield out around his unmoving form. For a moment you think you’ve killed him, until you sense his ki. He’s still alive, playing dead. You lift a hand and fire another Death Beam, your beam deflecting off of the green shield. Looking close, you see his mangled left hand somehow reforming, the new hole in his back slowly closing as well.

“How pathetic.” you taunt, turning and spitting in disgust before walking towards the fallen Arbiter. “Relying on these tools and weapons to fight. A true warrior doesn’t need such things to fight, they only need their own body!”

At this you watch the Arbiter rise to his feet, and surprisingly begins dropping gear. He drops a few grenades and a few other energy weapons, then turns back towards you. He then picks up the energy blade he’d dropped with his left hand, his right arm’s armor sliding down over his fist. You watch as a golden energy blade shoots out from it as the shield device sputters and dies, the glow fading.

“Just for that, I’ll end you on your own terms, Super Saiyan!” the Arbiter says threateningly, dropping back down to his open stance. “Come, and meet your death at my blades!”

What now?

So that's a no. Go through the archive and find that chapter, because we have this exact conversation, with I believe it was Weiss, might have been Chaya, about how SSJ3 being fucking useless and if we can use it, we can get 4. Thus expressly making it fucking pointless to bring it up. Pretty sure it was also either that thread or the one right after that we were told the limit we need to get to that point. We wont get it.
>>2817075

>>
>Super Energy Blade and hammer in the other hand, Defend its a trap.

>COME ARBITER. SHOW ME THE WILL OF YOUR GODS.
>>
>>2817144
That's not a no, that's a get to the point. If you want to bring up old conversations, then you dig through the archives yourself.
But that doesn't matter, because the conversation was about SSJ3 draining immense amounts of energy that make it unsustainable, which outside of a single situation where someone dead is on a 24 hour visit, it doesn't do.
As well, there's a limit we need for all this fancy shit. We can't even sustain Gold Oozaru for more then 10 seconds, much less hope to control it yet. There's no way in hell we'd be able to internalize SSG's Power yet. Just because SSJ3 needs a ton of power, or for us to luck into pulling it out of our ass, doesn't mean the other forms are any closer.

You know he’s baiting you into a reckless attack, but you’re not falling for it. Instead you create your massive two-handed Super Energy Blade, taking a defensive stance.

“You come, Arbiter!” you call out, noticing your blade is now a dark green instead of the usual gold. “I won’t fall for a simple provocation like that.”

You both stand, facing each other and slowly inching towards each other. You watch the Arbiter closely, waiting for him to charge in. And you aren’t left waiting long.

“Enough! I’m ending this, now!” the Arbiter roars, charging headlong at you. You tighten your grip on your blade, bending your knees as you prrpare to take the full force of his charge. He leaps into the air, flipping once and swinging both blades down at your head. “DIE!!”

You swing your massive blade into his two blades, your body and the ground beneath you taking the full force of his swing. You’re forced to a knee, but you do withstand his charge without his blades touching you. Now the real battle begins!

https://youtube.com/watch?v=e_xzf3Raq80

“RRRAAAAA!!” he roars, pulling his right-hand blade back and thrusting for your head. You twist counterclockwise, deflecting the thrust from your head with your Super Energy Blade’s handle then swing for his neck. The Arbiter leaps back, knocking your blade aside then dashing back at you. You deflect a thrust from his left hand, lean past a cut from his right then deliver your own overhead smash. He crosses his blades, catching your massive blade in his two. The force of your strike knocks him down to a knee, but he manages to withstand your strike as well. Your faces come close to each other as you press your blade down towards him, his good eye widening in surprise. He remembers what your Eye Beams did to him before, panicking and twisting his arms and upper body to redirect your blade into the ground beside him. He then swings his right-hand blade for your head, you backstepping and continuing your clockwise twist to dodge his blade. He rises to his feet and retakes his stance, you retaking yours as well.

So far so good, but what now?

You and the Arbiter return to your stances, observing each other. You suddenly feel a burning pain in your chest, as if someone’s poured molten lava inside you. Your body begins to feel everything it’s been through today, your strength vanishing.

“Is that, haaah, all you’ve got?” you ask, panting as you start feeling your exhaustion again. You drop to a knee as the green glow fading from your blade as it returns to its usual golden glow. Your eyes widen in surprise, realizing you’ve suddenly lost the power of New Salda that had been bolstering you. You feel your powerlevel also beginning to plummet. Dammit, and you had him on the ropes too!

“It would seem that your power has finally run out, Super Saiyan.” he says, standing to his full height as he begins walking towards you and lifting his golden blade high. “This is the end for you, Karn!”

You try to lift your blade, but your arms have no more strength. Your body is well past its limits, you watching helplessly as the Arbiter swings his blade down at you. But before it can hit, a blade of ki suddenly drips from the sky. His blade slams into the familiar ki blade, it glowing for a moment before bursting into the Arbiter in a hail of smaller blades. He shouts in surprise, the smaller blade shards all glowing a moment then exploding as well. You look up to the blade’s thrower, watching Meloka drop from the sky to land between you and the Arbiter. You notice her shoulder is still injured, her arm bound to her chest to keep it out of her way.

“My turn.” She says to the Arbiter, drawing her powerful Energy Blade in her right hand. “I won’t let you hurt my Karn.”
“Meloka, be careful!” you say, your blade disappearing from under you as you drop to your hands and knees. She turns back to you and winks, then faces the Arbiter.
“So, you show your face as well.” the Arbiter says, dropping back into his stance. “This saves me the trouble of hunting you down later.”
“You’re not leaving here alive!” Meloka shouts, pointing her blade at the Arbiter. “I’m ending you here and now!!”

“HAAAAA!!” she roars, swinging her blade. A Death Slash flies out from her sword, the Arbiter leaping up above it. Meloka seems to have seen his move coming, dashing above him and with a flip swings her blade down at him. The Arbiter manages to block in time, the strength of her strike sending the splitjaw crashing back down to the planet. As he rises back to his feet Meloka swings her blade back and forth, sending a hailstorm of her smaller blades down at him. He leaps back and away from the storm of blades, keeping his distance as each of the tiny blades explode.

“Grrr, damn you!” he shouts, leaping into the air. Meloka again seems ready for him, tossing her power-packed Energy Blade toward him as a spinning blade of death. He sees it coming and manages to dodge, but isn’t ready as Meloka charges him. She slams her glowing right fist into his jaw, it exploding and stunning him as she backflips, ki gathered in her left palm.

“GO STRAIGHT TO HELL!!” she roars, blasting the Arbiter with a massive Energy Wave. He takes the full brunt of the blast, it slamming him back down to New Salda. Meloka drops from the air as well, you feeling her ki dropping at an alarming rate. You see she’s returned to her base form, landing on her back beside you and panting heavily.

“Di-Did I. Get him?” she asks between pained breaths. You watch the dust settle from her attack, and seeing a silhouette begin to appear from within.
“Dammit.” you say, the Arbiter limping out of the dust cloud. “S-So close!”
“You damn Saiyans!” the Arbiter shouts, you seeing the results of Meloka’s attack. She heavily blasted his left side, the Arbiter’s left arm is hanging limp and dragging his left leg behind him. “You will not kill me! I cannot fail!!”

“They will not kill you.” a new voice says from your right, you all turning and looking to the newcomer. “But you will kill no more this day.”
“Supreme Kai of Time?!” you and the Arbiter shout together, recognizing him at the same time. How long has he been there?

Starting a few sentences back, overwriting that horrible misnaming I did in the last post.

>>2818217
“Supreme Kai?!” you and the Arbiter shouted together, you both recognizing him at the same time. How long has he been there? You also recognize his giant, red-skinned assistant behind him, looking disapprovingly on the scene before him. The Arbiter finds his wits before you, deactivating his blade and giving a clearly pained bow. “Greetings, Supreme Kai. What brings you here?”
“Dispense with the ignorance, Arbiter.” the Supreme Kai says, a note of heat in his voice. “Your masters are too far out of line this time, and I will not stand for it. You are to call off this unlawful attack at once, take your soldiers and fleet with you, and return to High Charity. I shall be along myself, and once you arrive I will get to the bottom of this. Is that understood?”

The Arbiter looks furiously at the Supreme Kai, but after a moment he accepts his fate with a sigh.

“This isn’t over, Super Saiyans.” he says, then turns without another word and begins limping back towards his ship. His men all follow him, the Zealots all too eager to get back inside the ship and away from the Supreme Kai.

ALL SHIPS ARE TO RETURN TO HIGH CHARITY IMMEDIATELY, BY ORDER OF THE SUPREME KAI HIMSELF!” the Arbiter himself calls out over his ship’s comms, every ship blasting the message. Within moments most every Covenant ship begins taking to the air, several more landing by the city to begin the process of loading their deployed soldiers back into ships. At this the Supreme Kai gives a self-satisfied smirk, then turns to you.

“Greetings again, Saiyan Karn.” he says, holding out his hand to you. “Your strength has grown quite noticeably in these few short years.”

You reach up to grab the deity’s hand, but before you can reach him your body completely gives out on you. Darkness takes you, you disappearing into the void.

You aren’t sure how long you float aimlessly through the void, but it seems that you’d only been there a moment when you feel your eyes open.

“Huh?” you ask, looking up and seeing the Supreme Kai smiling down at you. “What just happened?”
“You had pushed your body far beyond your limits, and it finally collapsed.” the Supreme Kai says as you rise slightly unsteadily to your feet. The Supreme Kai turns from you and to Meloka, placing his hands on her. You watch in awe as a light from his hands envelops her, her wounds sealing before your eyes. He heals Meloka, the glow fading after a moment as she opens her eyes. She sits up suddenly, looking around panickedly.
“It’s okay Meloka, its over.” you tell your wife, kneeling and hugger her. She tears her left arm free of it’s bindings and squeezes you tight, face buried in your neck. You feel a few tears on your neck, Meloka shaking slightly as she sobs in relief. You both remain there, ignoring the world until the Supreme Kai’s assistant coughs, you seperating slightly to turn and look to the Kai. But before he can say anything...

BOOM

BOOM

Two beings slam into the ground by you, knocking you and Meloka over as a cloud of dust envelops you all. You cough for a moment, until a powerful wind sweeps the dust away.

“Do not worry, for I am... Wait, Supreme Kai? Why are you here?” Freeza asks, you seeing the emperor and Ubo have finally arrived.
“Greetings, Freeza.” the Supreme Kai says, smiling to the emperor. “But I have ended this unlawful battle. It’s over.”
“I... But... I...” Freeza sputters, confused.
“The battle’s already over?” Ubo asks, seemingly a little disappointed. “But Ubo wanted to fight, too!”
“I’m sure there will be other battles, gentlemen.” the Supreme Kai says, then turns to you and Meloka. “If you both would excuse me and Freeza, I believe we have some business to discuss.”

With that, Freeza walks a short distance away with the Supreme Kai, the red-skinned giant following them. The battle is finally over.

Sounds good to me. Also, once we’ve organized and gotten our ducks in a row and everything, seriously, let’s challenge the Arbiter to a death match. He doesn’t just get to leave with a slap on the wrist from the Supreme Kai, after wreaking havoc on New Salda and killing thousands of Saiyans. Not a fight between the Covenant and Freeza, or the Covenant and the Saiyans, just Karn and the Arbiter, none of his bullshit gadgets (Except his energy sword, he can use that), just a straightforward duel between the two of us.

“Maybe you and me can go a few rounds tomorrow, Ubo.” you tell your giant friend as you and Meloka struggle to get back to your feet. Ubo holds out a hand to each of you, you both accepting and letting the giant haul you upright. ”How’s that sound?”
“Sounds good to Ubo.” he says, patting you a few times on the back. You’re still so tired he nearly knocks you from your feet, but you still have things to do today. And first thing’s first, you need to tell King Vegeta what’s happened. You look to Meloka, who just nods and floats up on your back, her arms draped across your shoulders and holding onto you. You focus your ki sense again on King Vegeta, lifting into the air and slowly flying towards your king.

You tiredly drift over the battle-scarred surface of New Salda, feeling a flicker of anger in your chest at all the death and destruction the Covenant caused. “This isn’t over, Super Saiyans.” the Arbiter had said to you. He was right about that one, this isn’t over yet. You WILL have your vengeance against the Arbiter one day, and you will make him pay for what he did. As you fly closer to the city you see the Covenant forces doing their best to evacuate, the Saiyans attacking the retreating Covenant with renewed vigor. You could stop them and let the other Saiyans know the battle is over, but you don’t. They need this, after everything the Covenant did. Your people need to feel like they’ve won this war. So you simply fly by, letting the Saiyans rampage against the retreating Covenant as you enter the city, looking for the king. You find him where you’d expected, helping direct traffic through Raven’s portal.

“Critically injured go, get everyone with life-threatening injuries through the portal first!” he shouts, you seeing Saiyans dragging themselves or others with serious injuries through the portal. Raven is now on this side as well, her portal an impressive thirty-ish feet across. You drop through the air and land softly beside the king, the young Vegeta turning to look at you. He does a double take, seeing you and Meloka in considerably better shape than he’d last seen you.

“The battle is over, King Vegeta.” you tiredly report, giving him a sluggish salute.
“So the Supreme Kai really arrived then?” Vegeta asks you, then turns and shouts orders at his Royal Guard to oversee the evacuation then turns to you. “Its really over?”
“Its over.” you reply. You see the relief wash over King Vegeta’s face like a wave, the boy suddenly looking like a boy again. He’d looked more grown-up, you realize, having shouldered the burden of overseeing and protecting his people during this crisis. But now that it’s over, he looks more like the ten year old boy he actually is. He then flies up into the air, and with a shout silences everyone.

“THE BATTLE IS OVER!!” he shouts, raising a fist. “THE COVENANT ARE FLEEING! WE’VE WON!!”

I'm probably the only one, but given that New Salda's picking Karn as its champion basically bought us enough time for Meloka and Supreme Kai to save the day, I kind feel like we should spend some time tomorrow learning if we can use Ki transfers to hyper accelerate new forest growth/restoring some of the damage den to the planet. AFTER our wounded and our allies are taken care of, of course. Probably also after our bout with Ubo, since he seems excited about that.

Just a thought, but we could at least ask the guardian about it...

The entire massive courtyard is silent, the more than a thousand gathered Saiyans all frozen in shock. You watch as one Saiyan then lifts both her arms up, you recognizing Cassa as she lets out a cheer. Everyone else joins in, shouting and cheering that the battle is won. You watch young King Vegeta above his people, visibly cheering with them and you feel pride in the young king. His road has been hard, but he’s turning into a great ruler, and a great man. You enjoy the sounds of laughter, cheering and even some crying, then you hear one shout more important to you than all the others.

“DADDY! MOMMA!” Chaya shouts, sprinting through the portal and hitting you with a flying tackle. You’re knocked back, feet digging footlong trenches in the ground as you stay on your feet. You drop to a knee and hold your daughter close, then hug the boys to you as well as they run up. You remain there, holding them as Chaya cries against you. “I was so worried you or Momma was gonna get hurt, I was so scared.
“Shhh, its okay.” you say, smiling at her. “We’re all okay.”
“We’re just fine, see?” Meloka says, smiling tiredly at them all. “We did it. Its over.”

After a few moments you and Meloka take the kids with you and go back to your ship. You smile at the kids’ awe over seeing the ancient ship, running back and forth across the ancient vessel. You tell them where it came from, their eyes all going wide with wonder as they look around then recognize the ‘island’ on top. You leave them to their play, the three of them running around the inside of the antique starship as you and Meloka go inside. You both head to the showers, you tearing the last of your uniform off as Meloka strips and you both showering the day’s battle off. Once cleaned off you both go back to your room, collapsing in bed and falling immediately asleep.

You aren’t sure how long you slept, but when you wake up your body feels refreshed. Looking around, the first thing you see Meloka curled up fast asleep in your arms. You then see the kids are all asleep as well, all laying in a pile of limbs in their bed. You chuckle at this, hearing Chaya’s light snoring as she sleeps. This is what you fought so hard to protect.

Its a new day, what will you do?

As you lay there, you think on when you’d connected with the planet yesterday, and the surge of power you’d felt. You had felt so much power coursing though you, which multiplied over when your feet were touching the ground. You remember the Guardian had spoke with you about this, he’d probably be the only one who could answer your questions. So you carefully get out of bed, making sure to stay quiet and avoid waking your family as you sneak from your room. Extending your ki sense, you feel your crew are all back on your ship, as well as two extraordinary powerlevels and several others all with Dr. White. There probably wasn’t enough room for all the wounded at the hospital, your ship’s Medical Bay being used to help care for them. You don’t mind this at all, glad your crew and ship could help.

You return to your ship’s supply closet, throwing just an armorless training suit on before walking out of your ship. You see the Guardian once again sitting on his rock, the ancient ship still next to the city where he’d left it during the battle. As you walk out of your ship the ancient creature lets out a tired sigh, opening his eyes and turning to you.

“Greetings, Karn. Many questions, you must have. Come, with me you sit.” he says, gesturing to the ground beside him. You comply, sitting beside the elder and wait for him to speak. He then gestures to the city and planet below, then speaks. “Tell me, what do you see?”
“I see the city, destroyed Covenant warships, the patches of the forest they obliterated to land, th-“ you reply, the Guardian cutting you off.
“No, not with your eyes.” he says, rapping you lightly on the head with his staff. “Close your eyes. Now, what do you see?”

You do as the Guardian instructs, closing your eyes as you retake your meditative pose, and open your senses. You feel the presence of the other Saiyans, Tamaraneans, and other creatures on New Salda. From what you can feel, most have come back through Raven’s portal back to this world. But then your senses again go deeper, and you can feel everything. You feel the burned craters on the planet’s surface as if it was your own skin burned and cauterized, you can feel the animals injured by stray Covenant fire clinging to life. You feel the creatures below the waves as well, many of them and their homes crushed beneath the wreckage of the large Covenant warships. You even feel some Covenant alive in their ships at the bottom of the sea, slowly being crushed and drowned, trapped within their broken ships and waiting for help that will never come. You feel all this pain and destruction and death at once, it overwhelming your mind and causing you to cry out in agony. You try and end the link, to distance yourself from this agonizing pain, but you suddenly realize you can’t!

“GRRRAAAA!! Dammit!!” you shout, clutching your head in agony. You clench your teeth to prevent yourself from screaming out, focusing your mind on suppressing the overwhelming pain. You suddenly feel the Guardian’s hand on your forehead, and the sensations stop as abruptly as flipping a switch. You freeze, not wanting to do anything that would subject you to that pain again. You slowly open your eyes, seeing the Guardian’s concerned face.
“My apologies, you have.” he says, removing his hand from your head, You close your eyes and brace for that storm of pain and agony, but it doesn’t come. After a moment you open your eyes cautiously, the Guardian resuming. “Forgotten, I have, how overwhelming, this can be. Temporarily severed the link, I have. Ready for this burden, you are not: much to learn, you still have.”
“What is that?” you ask, breathing ragged. You only realizing now how you’d been holding your breath to avoid screaming.

“This world; chosen you as it’s champion, it has.”

“You said that before.” you say, returning to your seated position. “But what does that mean? And how did I feel those things?”
“Things?” he asks. “Describe to me, these things you feel.”

And you do, you tell him everything. You describe the rush of power you’d felt during the battle, how you were able to sense the ki of everything on the planet, and all the agony and pain you felt today. It sounds somewhat odd to be saying it all out loud, but you know this was real. And by the Guardian’s lack of reaction, he knows what’s going on.

“You’d said I was ‘chosen’ or something as the world’s champion.” you say, questioningly. “What does that mean? And how could I feel where the planet was burned, or have strength bestowed upon me? This doesn’t make much sense.”
“From a dead world, you came.” the Guardian says with a heavy sigh. “Very much alive, however, New Salda is. As I taught you, ki flows through everything. Every creature, every plant, every stone. Its energy surrounds us, and binds us. And much like yourself, strong, this planet is. But, injured by the invaders, it has been. Needs time to heal, it does. Where the Guardian comes in, this is.”

You understand he’s talking about those in the position of Guardian, not simply himself, and let him continue without interrupting.

“Helping the planet recover, my duty it is.” he says, you just now noticing he looks exhausted as well. Then again, everyone on New Salda seems tired and/or injured, even the planet itself. “Restore this planet’s strength and beauty, I will.”

Despite seeming resolute in doing what he says is his duty, he doesn’t seem too eager to begin. You can almost feel his fatigue yourself, and once again you’re forcibly reminded of his age. You suddenly wonder how many times he’s had to do this before, then feel guilty for a moment remembering the damage you all caused when you’d claimed this world as your own years ago. The Guardian says nothing else, simply looking down at the city and planet down below.

What now?

Let the kids know who their grandpa is.

Blackfire is probably showing off her boyfriend to Starfire, and the rest of the gang is watching on in confusion. If our boy is doing his kingly duty, planning a good relationship program by crossbreeding with the Space oranges.

Finish off the day checking in on our boss, friend, and possibly see if he's doing okay after missing his cue to save the day...hopefully it doesn't turn into a bad meme habit for him.

QM UPDATE

Bad news everyone, work’s shafted me and now I’m not getting out ‘till after 10:30. I apologize, but I’m pausing this episode here. I’ll count these votes when work’s over later. We’ll resume Monday morning, 6am EST, or roughly 12 hours from now. Again I apologize for this, but my coworkers are shit sometimes and I get called in to cover.

This with the following changes:

1. Remove the "Let Meloka sleep" option.
2. Move the "Find Frieza" to the top of the "And then?" list. He's an emperor and there are a lot of fires for him to put out right now with this attack on the PTO. There's no guarantee he'll even still be on New Salda by the time we're done with everything else. Plus withou the treaty, his, Cooler's and King Cold's direct intervention, we'd all be dead, so I'd kind of like to say thanks and try to help ease his frustration for not getting back in time to kill the Arbiter before the Kais put a stop (temporary hold) to things.

If you can’t make it don’t worry, there’ll be no more life-or-death situations in this thread. But for now I’m going to bed, see you guys tomorrow.

>we didn't get to kill the Arbiter.
Well considering Supreme Kai won't just execute the Arbiter, we may be able to challenge him to a match down the line to get revenge.
We can issue the challenge under the guise of just punishment for the Saiyan and Tamaranean lives lives lost during the battle.
The Arbiter is supposed to be the Covenant's martyr after all.
The only difference between now and then is that we actually have time to try and get to his level and make it a "fair" fight.
>>
>>2820515
“Is there anything I can do to help?” you ask, the Guardian giving you a soft smile.
“Help with this, you cannot.” he says, without any hint of ill will or malice. “Mine alone, this task is.”
“Oh.” you say, slightly disappointed. After feeling the planet’s agony yourself, you wished you were able to help. However, that does give you one last idea. You dig the Bloodstone out of your boot, holding it out to the Guardian. “What about this? Could you use the power saved up in here?”

As he gazes at the stone in your hand, you see an almost feral hunger in his eyes. His hand begins slowly moving towards it until he sees his own hand, the ancient creature grabbing his hand in the other and pulling it away, turning his head from you. You hear him mutter something to himself, although you can’t quite make it out. He then turns back to you, back to normal. Except his eyes don’t leave the stone.

“Away, put that!” he commands, you flinching at the volume of his voice. You nearly drop it, catching the stone then putting it back in your boot as you look to him, confused. He then sighs out, looking apologetic. “Forgive me. Too old for such temptations, I should be. Keep to yourself, this relic. Into the wrong hands, do not let it fall.”
“Why?” you ask, confused. You’d thought it was only a simple ki storage stone, and used in some rotual to seal Aku long ago. “What else can this thing do?”
“Share what I will tell you, you must not.” he says, deadly serious. “Upon your life, you must swear it.”

This gives you a moment’s pause. What could be so dangerous about this stone that he wants you to swear on your life to keep secret? For another moment you debate if you even want to know. But if you’re going to be carrying this around and storing your own ki in it, you decide you should know what it can do.

“I swear I will not tell anyone else what you tell me about this.” you say, just as seriously. He looks you in the eyes as you say this, then simply nods. When he resumes speaking he’s no longer talking, but telling you this information telepathically.
“A portal to Hell, that stone can open.”

“Woah woah woah, hold on.” you reply, also telepathically. “You mean to tell me-?”
“Yes.” comes the Guardian’s swift reply. “Forbidden knowledge, this is. Too dangerous, these gems are. If into the wrong hands one fell, an apocalypse they could bring.”
“An apocalypse?” you ask. “What kind of apocalypse?”

But instead of answering with words, the Guardian begins showing you images. Images of demons slaughtering his people, of the dead rising and attacking their brethren. “So this is what happened to his world.” you think to yourself, as images of hooded figures wielding blades of light begin to appear, fighting against the demons as the Guardian ends the images.

“As long as magic, you do not know, safe, that stone is.” he then says, still telepathically. “But keep it safe, you must. The end of all worlds, it could bring.”
“I’ll take good care of it.” you reply out loud, you and the Guardian sharing a nod of understanding and a moment of silence before you take your leave, focusing your ki sense to find Lord Freeza. Which isn’t difficult, even when he’s only in his base form. You find him floating by himself not far from you, you flying over to him. You find him looking down on the ruined city and the scorched earth below, fists clenched angrily. You can feel his frustration radiating off of him in waves, his aura flared angrily around him.

“Dammit all!” Freeza shouts, clearly frustrated. “If only I’d been faster, or stronger, or something! I-!”

Freeza suddenly notices you, the emperor taking a breath to compose himself.

“Hello Karn.” he says, his tone much more composed. “It’s good to see that you managed to hold your own against the Arbiter without me here.”
“It was a near thing.” you reply, you and Freeza clasping forearms. “Too bad you missed your chance at him.”
“Its worse than that.” Freeza replies, you looking to him curiously. “That bastard Truth was behind all of this, but he’s going to get away with it. He’ll blame the Arbiter for acting on his own, they’ll execute him to please the Supreme Kai then continue as if nothing happened. And now with the Supreme Kai keeping a closer eye on the Covenant and enforcing the treaty they broke, we won’t be able to strike back!”

Well?

“We may not be able to get to Truth, but I think we may still be able to take down the Arbiter ourselves.” you say, Freeza looking curiously to you. “This whole fight was televised, right?”
“Of course.” Freeza replies. “Most of the civilized universe no doubt witnessed what happened here yesterday. What are you scheming, Karn?”
“Simple.” you reply with a smirk. “I go to the Battledome and challenge the Arbiter publicly to a duel to the death for what happened here.”
“I... You know...” Freeza says thoughtfully, finger to his chin. “That just might work. It puts Truth that much further from our reach, but publicly killing the Arbiter ourselves would hurt their cause even more. But can you do it? Can you kill the Arbiter alone?”

“It’s a two and a half month trip there.” you say, thinking out loud. “Given a month for your people to repair my ship and for us to get a handle on the aftermath, then the 2 1/2 month trip to the Battledome to issue the challenge, then another at least three months for the Arbiter to arrive. That gives me at least seven months to prepare. With that much time I can do it.”
“But what if you fail?” Freeza asks you seriously. “Let’s say you make your challenge, he accepts, but you lose? What happens if he manages to beat you?”
“I won’t lose.” you say seriously. “If he bests me, I’ll at least make damn sure to take him down with me!”
“You’re really determined to see this through, arent you?” Freeza asks, then lets out a sigh. “Very well. I’ll have the Supreme Kai inform them that the Arbiter isn’t to be harmed for this incident until judgement is passed. But are you sure about this?”

“Absolutely.” you say, a familiar, alien anger rising up within you as your rage and New Salda’s rage both align. That green aura explodes out around you again, the planet’s strength surging through you as you clench your fist in front of you, Freeza looking on awestruck as he senses the planet’s power within you. “That bastard will pay for what he did to my world!”

The Saiyans will live to genocide other species another day. After that display, no one who witnessed that war wants to fight against the Saiyans.
>>2822135
Even a lot of the Covenant higher-ups have realized fucking with the Saiyans, and more specifically you Super Saiyans, was a bad idea. Most of the rank-and-file will not ever willingly return to New Salda, especially the ones who managed to escape the planet’s surface. The Covenant leadership will desperately try and keep the treaty by throwing the Arbiter under the bus, hoping to avoid a retaliatory strike led by the Saiyans.
>>2822139
Yes, most of the known universe watched the Covenant get their asses handed to them. This may cause an internal power struggle, as well as potential rebellions.

>>
>>2822238
You now have time to prepare, but so will he. Good luck.
>>2822241
Correct. It is strongest when you’re in physical contact with the planet’s surface, the link getting weaker as you travel further away. Once past the atmosphere you will no longer be able to utilize that power at all. And speaking of power, the two main pastebins have also been updated.
>>
>>2822245
Ahhh, I'm sure we can pull out a win. We've already closed the gap significantly since the first time we encountered him, and our power level just jumped up over 100k more after this recent confrontation. And we've got the time (And power level) to work on SSJ4, if Towa was right about us needing a minimum power level of about 1 mil. Kind of want to try working on mastering Berserk before we get to working on it, but the option's there now.
>>
>>2822245
So I think we need to find a way to have the duel set on the planets surface then. Shouldn't be too hard considering he doesn't know how our new power works.

Unless he planted a tracking/listening device somewhere in the retreat. same tactic that led to the fall of reach after Keyes's massive victory at sigma octanus iv.
>>
>>2822254
Ehh, wouldn't want the win to be tainted by an outside power source. Besides, we'll probably need to use the training time that choosing the Battle Dome as the venue would grant us.

You’ll have plenty of time to train and prepare yourself.

I thought SS3/4 took a Base PL that was in the tens of millions to handle?

I'd vote for getting a handle on Berserk Saiyan. If we can master that we can help our son learn to master it too. We really haven't been helping him as much as we should've.
>>
>>2822442
GD seems to have reduced the minimum power levels necessary to achieve the different Super Saiyan forms, assumedly because we can't pull Zenkai boosts that increase our power by millions out of our ass, like they do in canon.
>>
>>2822403
Because instead of training and preparing himself, he went chasing after every shadow, every cult, and every whisper of Majin Buu in the hopes of finding Buu’s sphere and taking it to Beerus for removal.
>>2822407
To be fair, he couldn’t find Buu’s egg to do anything with it.
>>2822442
Spending more time with the kids is on the menu. I haven’t forgotten them. As for Berserk, you can take stops along the way to try and control it on uninhabited/unimportant planets.
>>2822447
I’ve modified numbers a bit to make growth less of an asspull. Also, Towa said you’d need at least a million powerlevel to start working on taming your Golden Oozaru, not that you would be able to become a Primal Saiyan at that level.
>>
>>2822540
>To be fair, he couldn’t find Buu’s egg to do anything with it.

Well if we're always going to need more training we might as well start now. See if we can inject SS energy into Yoda, see if that can top him off since he's weak from healing the planet, and ask Freeza to be on standby incase we lose control.

I want the entire galaxy to watch us fight the Arbiter, go Controllable LSS, and make them fear us even more. Plus the look on that damn splitjaw's face will be hilarious.

ESPECIALLY if we bring our mallet....

Instant Transmission. That one technique has nearly as much game-breaking potential as the Dragonballs themselves. As it currently stands, there’s only one move more potentially broken, and you’d need godly ki before you can use it.
>>
Just want to put it out there that if we do want to mess around with Berzerker mode, we should probably do it before Karn learns IT. No way to keep the rampage on target if he can just planet hop to a new population center.
>>
>>2824459

IT reqires focus though
>>
>>2824459
This>>2824462
Berserk would be to mentally unstable to use it, not saying with all that power Karn couldn't planet hop really fucking quickly with brute force through the void though.
>>
>>2824462
>>2824469

Maybe I'm thinking of Beserk incorrectly then. I'd assumed it was rage driven behavior, probably tilted towards the reactionary side (see movement.detect ki, lash out with full power!). But not that one was incapable of focus in that state...so long as it serves the purpose of allowing the berserker to punch/kick/blast someone.

Thanks for the insight. Will try to adjust mental framework.

If so, then the challenges that await cannot be prepared for. Only those who can adapt and rise to the top regardless of what they face can survive. That is what it means to overcome adversity!
I'M READY, GD. GIVE ME THE TRIALS.
>>
>>2824459
That would be terrifying, even moreso than when Perfect Cell learned it.
>>2824494
Goku couldn’t even use it to escape Buu destroying earth, and Perfect Cell couldn’t use it when he was losing the beam struggle with Gohan. You need the correct mental state and enough concentration to use Instant Transmission. As for Berserk it is as the name implies. You are(essentially) Hulking out, attacking everything and everyone near-indiscriminately. At least that is your current level of control over the form. Broly may be slightly further along a path to controlling it, simply due to more exposure.

My thoughts on IT is what if you're standing next to someone so strong that trying to sense anything just gives you a field of "fuck off" radiation that you sense instead thanks to overwhelming power. Like when you have a super bright light next to a dimmer light. It's a lot harder to see the dimmer one you know? Same thing happen for sensing Ki? So many questions.
>>
>>2824543
Nah, we can focus on individual ki levels so long as they are within range. Being near someone strong has no baring on it.

>His answer may disappoint you.
He's probably going to say decades, or centuries. Guess we'll have to see if we can prove him wrong. It is nice that we've focused so much on techniques and physical conditioning, rather then just getting new forms, even if our power level's a little lacking considering we're already at Ascended Super Saiyan and haven't even breached 1 mil.

As I’ve said before, I reworked a bit of the math on the transformations and whatnot for balance’s sake. As it currently stands, less than three dozen non-deity creatures are noticeably stronger than Karn at his current maximum power.
>>

I'm less concerned about people in our universe (Around 30 individuals who are noticeably stronger then us at our max power right now? -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 55 Epilogue-

AGE 741, SOMEWHERE IN SPACE

“Bah, who cares if some dumb monkeys and those loony cultists are all killing each other?” you say, nursing your drink as you watch your screen from the command chair aboard your spaceship. You are Babidi, wizard extraordinare and heir to the legacy of the late wizard Bibidi. Long ago, Bibidi’d created the creature known as Majin Buu, and through still-unknown means shaped that creature into the ultimate weapon. His creation even destroyed most of the Supreme Kais themselves before he let the creature rampage, but one fateful day his spree came to an end. One day when Buu had been sealed in his egg and sent ahead to his next destination, the last surviving Supreme Kai caught up to him. Without the protection of Majin Buu, Bibidi was killed by the Kai. However, the Supreme Kai wasn’t able to find Majin Buu’s egg, and the creature has remained in it’s enchanted slumber ever since.

“Forgive me, I forgot to introduce myself in this form.” you hear a voice say from your monitor, watching as smoke clears off the screen and you see the speaker. “I am King Cold, and I myself have come to aid my vassals in their ultimate battle.”

“Pfffffffffff!!” you you exhale as you spray your drink all over your screen in surprise. You yelp in panic, quickly wiping your sprayed wine off, interest now locked firmly on the screen. “What the hell!? That old bastard’s still alive?!!”
“I’ve been looking forward to this, Karn.” King Cold says, flaring his dark blue aura up around himself, his aura knocking the nearby Saiyans over. “Once again, the universe shall tremble in terror at the name of King Cold!”

He looks different than you remember, but it is no doubt him. As the camera zooms in on his face, you see his familiar eyes, a chill running up your spine. You remember those cold, merciless eyes from the day he nearly killed you.
cont
>>
>>2829482
“Dammit.” you say, slumping in your chair. If he’s still around, this complicates things significantly. You’d fought against the being known as King Cold yourself well over three hundred years ago, and it wasn’t an experience you’d ever want to repeat. That old bastard had actually caught up to your ship near your ultimate goal: the planet known as Earth where Majin Buu’s egg is still to this day hidden. He’d attacked your ship mercilessly, you barely managing to put together a short-range Teleport spell before he’d completely destroyed it. He’d burst into your chamber as the spell was completed, a wave of death headed straight for you. If you had been a quarter-second slower, you would have died. Instead you’d appeared on the planet below, carefully hiding out amongst the wandering desert nomads for several years until King Cold gave up looking on that world for you, figuring you’d escaped to somewhere else further from the ship’s destruction and left, the spider no doubt returning to the center of his web to watch the universe for any signs of you.

This had set your work back centuries, but luckily the Supreme Kai who showed up years later didn’t find Majin Buu either: after Cold had no doubt told him of his encounter with you. You’d panicked when the Supreme Kai had arrived, still unable to flee the primitive world as you searched for a place of significant magical power to fuel a deep-range Teleport spell. You’d found such a place suprisingly enough at the bottom of the ocean, an ancient being of immense supernatural power sleeping there. You’d learned of the creature’s existance from a mad wizard living as a hermit in the middle of an abandoned city in the desert. Half his ramblings were unintelligible, but after a few days of listening to his madness you were able to somewhat piece together this creature’s location, and after a few more years you’d finally found it.

It was a powerful being indeed, radiating more magical power as it slumbered than you could produce in a year. As much as you’d wanted to try and cast your mind control on the ancient being, without an alternate escape route you’d left well enough alone. Funneling it’s excess magical power you quickly fueled your spell, leaving Earth and, reluctantly, Majin Buu as well behind. As much as you’d wanted to take him with you, you’d lacked the correct type of power to awaken him on Earth. So you’d left Earth behind, starting over on your quest to revive Majin Buu with nothing but your magic, your wits, a few new magical trinkets and spells you’d picked up while on Earth, and of course Bibidi’s spellbook.

After leaving Majin Buu behind you’d become a phantom, hiding yourself away as you’d begun the agonizingly slow process of rebuilding. You’d had to be even more cautious than before; with you still unsure how King Cold had found you out you had to abandon all of your old contacts and start fresh from the ground up. For the first century you’d had to hide, the unbelievably large bounties on your head made it impossible for you to enter civilized space. For those years you were forced to live on the outskirts of the universe, traveling between long-abandoned shipwrecks for salvage.

But in the centuries after you’d come face-to-face with him, however, King Cold slowly began to disappear from the public eye. He began to appear less and less until he vanished for the last time, becoming little more than ancient history to the rest of the universe. His empire fractured, the bounties for you disappearing as hundreds of factions emerged from the chaos. As they all began warring against each other, you were finally able to move more freely across the universe again. These wars for control lasted for well over a hundred years, new dynasties rising and falling in the blink of an eye. With his empire crumbling before you, it was hard to imagine the great and terrible King Cold was still alive and watching for you. As the wars raged on you slipped in amongst the chaos, acquiring a new ship and easily-controlled crew, as well as the materials to begin crafting the magical tools you needed for the rebirth of Majin Buu.

Then one day, the reason for King Cold’s disappearance was revealed: his two sons made their grand appearance, conquering the world that was the former seat of King Cold’s power. You’d then thought you understood why he had suddenly disappeared: to teach his children to rule in his place in his final years before his death. With the arrival of Freeza and Cooler on the universal scene, the lay of the universe began to change once again. They quickly brought several dozen systems under their control, enforcing their will over these weaker systems with an iron fist. But their resurgence also spelled bad news for you, as it also meant the two took up the search for you and Majin Buu again, King Cold’s last will, you had thought. Oh how wrong you were.

With the realization that King Cold is still alive, you’ve realized how foolish you’ve been and how well-laid his traps may have been. When his sons stepped onto the galactic stage, you’d kept careful note of their quickly-growing network of informants, paying off several to avoid the Cold sons’ notice. But you now realize this could all have been to make you complacent and lazy in your efforts to avoid detection. You’ve probably already been spotted by his own network dozens of times in the past twenty years alone, confirming you are indeed still alive.

But one thing about all this still bothers you; he spent all this time time convincing the universe he was dead and long gone, why reveal himself now? You know that old snake values secrecy and surprise, why would he make such a grand reveal now? He had to know such a declaration meant that you’d disappear again, right?

“Shllaaaaakhaaanaaath Unless this is his way of declaring you checkmated, ansnaaaaghth v’booutch schlaaaro-”

The voice in your head speaks something your mind could comprehend again, you stopping to deliberate what it said. Ever since you’d witnessed that ancient creature at the bottom of the ocean you’d had this disembodied voice speaking in your head. Nothing you did had any effect on the voice, it continued speaking mostly gibberish in your mind despite your efforts to eradicate it. The mad hermit had warned you that gazing upon what he’d called a deity would drive one to madness, and you’d soon begun to wonder if you were truly going mad. However, the voice did have it’s moments of clarity, speaking truths clearly in one of several languages you could understand. When you could understand what the voice was saying, it always had helpful advice and never lied to you. So you’d decided to leave it be, and simply tuning out the mindless gibberish it usually said. But this was important. If Cold is revealing his presence so publicly now, it must mean he either believes that you cannot escape his trap and is taunting you, or that the Saiyans are too crucial to his future plans to let them get destroyed. You scoff at even thinking the idea, what role could a bunch of uncivilized monkeys possibly play in the revival of Majin Buu?

But if you’ve been found out, then King Cold’s minions, or even worse the Supreme Kai himself, could be headed towards you even now! And you know that your crew, even with the recent ‘volunteer’ you’d managed to bring to heel, are all no match against your enemies. You need something, or someone far stronger to act as a deterrent. You’d been hesitant to attempt this summoning, fearing the consequences if something went wrong. But with King Cold again on the move, you see little choice but to try. As you punch in commands your monitor begins to display the known ‘dead worlds’ nearby: worlds where life once flourished but does so no longer. You need to attempt this on one such world, since those places are far closer to the underworld than worlds still rich with life or those that never had life. Thankfully that Drstroyer cat is far too lazy to actually do his job properly. You find a half-dozen suitable planets within a few minutes, youpicking the one furthest from known spacelanes and setting your course for your pilots. To take the least-traveled path, furthest from likely ambushes, will take you three months. Time may be limited, but you have to make sure this goes off without a hitch.

Telling your pilots over the comms that you’ll be in your study and to notify you if anything noteworthy happens, you then quickly retreat into your study. You search among your tomes for one in particular, a massive book supposedly wrapped in the skin of its home planet’s natives. You struggle a moment then succeed in lifting the book to a clear podium, you brushing up on the arcane knowledge within. After all, if you’re going to attempt to bend the Demon King Dabura himself to your will, you’d better be fully prepared. Make even a single mistake, and he’ll drag you back down to Hell with him personally. But if this succeeds, you’ll have a pawn no one in the universe could stop, not even King Cold or that damnable Supreme Kai!

“AHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!” you cackle madly. “Soon you’ll get what’s coming to you, ‘King’ Cold. Once the Demon King is my pawn, no one will be able to stop me! The revival of Majin Buu will be at hand!”

Yeah, but it seems like Babidi's plan isn't to face King Cold. Rather, it's insurance to make sure he can get to Buu unopposed.
Which is arguably worse for us, bit still. At least we/cold won't have to face Dabura directly unless they go after him, if that was the case.

Has Future Chaya demonstrated any signs of Ultra Instinct btw?
Has she also looked into Berserk or any of the Divine forms?
>>
>>2830372
Not yet.
She hasn’t attained the Berserk form, or at least has no memory of ever transforming into it. As far as divine ki, she has not.
>>
>>2830572
I say it's time we upgrade the gravity chamber and start doing some serious training.
>>
Oh yeah, so for training Berserk mode, do you think we could just pester the Supreme Kai to make us a Katchin box or something? Put some air holes in, stick us into it, let us go Berserk, and then wait until we've regained control of our mental faculties? I mean, I assume as strong as we are in Berserk form we probably couldn't break out of a box made of the strongest material in the universe, right? Maybe we could have Raven put some magical wards or whatever on it, to make it extra tough. Seems like a good way to contain us while we regain control of our sanity, though we may need something a bit bigger for Golden Oozaru.
>>
>>2830678
I figure we should wait until we make progress with Broly before we start trying any serious attempts at trying to control Berserk.
>>
>>2830673
>upgrade the gravity chamber and start doing some serious training.
>serious training
He says, about Karn’s Gravity Chamber which maxes out at 1000x Earth’s gravity, or 100x Planet Vegeta’s.
>>2830678
I mean maybe? Also remember, the Guardian is the one who made both yours and Meloka’s rings.
>>2830682
Working with Broly on maintaining control is a good way to test how to control it yourself. Especially since you as an Ascended Saiyan can keep him in check.
>>
>>2830678
That's a pretty good idea. I don't think he'd go for it, though.
>>
>>2830682
Well I mean Broly already has a measure of control now, right? He just has trouble maintaining that control under pressure, like in the heat of battle. And I mean honestly, I think we should work towards controlling it as soon as possible. Freeza had trouble with us last time we used it, even at full power, and we were magnitudes weaker then we are now. If we keep waiting, we'll be too strong for anyone to have a chance of stopping us the next time we lose control of it.
>>
>>2830682
addendum, I think just going the tired dad route might yield some results.
We should just take Broly into the gravity chamber, have him go berserk, and just hold him down till he tuckers himself out.
GD would have to confirm this, but I think after expelling a good amount of energy Broly would have an easier time reigning himself in.
If it yields good results, we could try to replicate it with somebody who outclasses us like we do Broly.
Maybe King Cold could help.
>>
>>2830688
Can't he just like, make the stuff though? He basically just created a big block of it for Gohan to test that shitty sword the old Supreme Kai was sealed in, right? I imagine it wouldn't be too much trouble for him to make us a big block of it to use. Or we could try and wheedle some out of the Covenant as war reparations, or at least the money to buy it.
>>
>>2830687
Is that maybe a "Maybe the Supreme Kai would give you the Katchin", or a "Maybe the box would be strong enough to prevent you from breaking out and slaughtering your friends and family in a blind rage"?
>>
>>2830687
>maxes out at 1000x Earth’s gravity, or 100x Planet Vegeta’s.
I did not realize that. Good shit.
>>
>>2830688
Maybe not the Supreme Kai. Are you sure he is even there anymore?
>>2830689
He has a sliver of control. And that sliver is of course Chaya.
>If we keep waiting, we'll be too strong for anyone to have a chance of stopping us the next time we lose control of it.
Quite possibly. Or perhaps the next time you use it you never fully come down off the aggressiveness, or something worse? There is a reason it is the form of last resort/just fuck everything.
>>2830692
You can try? Last time you saw Ubo restrain him that way, he fell asleep as he calmed down and tired out.

QM QUESTION

So as I’ve been prepping my material for the next arc, I’ve realized there could be long sections where Karn isn’t doing anything other than observing. NO SAIYAN CONQUEROR QUEST this weekend, we’ll hopefully resume regular schedule next weekend.
>>
QM QUESTIONS

As I’m preparing for this next arc, I want to know what everyone(or as near anyone as will respond) thinks. I can easily write a quest for me and my own enjoyment, but I want to write a great quest for my great players and lurkers as well. So I have some questions for everyone willing to answer:

Favorite moment(s) this arc?
Favorite moment(s) this whole quest?
Least favorite moment(s) this arc?
Least favorite moment(s) this whole quest?
Favorite characters?
Least favorite characters?
Characters you want to see more/less of?
Other works/source materials you’d personally like to see included?
General suggestions?
Comments?

I’ll still be around this weekend as I’m preparing for the next arc to answer all you guys’ questions. As long as they don’t get too deep into spoiler territory of course.

Probably Future Chaya kicking Super Mira's ass and befriending Pudding.

All the times we absolutely beat the shit out of Trunks. See Gif.

That the Supreme Kai cockblocked us from finishing off the Arbiter.

That Nefarious and his Machine/Godzilla Bullshit JUST. WON'T. END.

Future Chaya, Towa, Frieza, Meloka, Vetega.

Least Favorite? Nefarious and Godzilla. Once was funny, twice was a surprise, the third time was just boring/redundant.

More Towa, not because of 'Oh Shit its the Time Patrol Again, but just interacting with her in general with Karn and Meloka would be great. Also more Pudding.

Gurren Lagann would be cool. Spiral Power could just be Life Sense type deal.

More social would be fun. Generally our socials always feel cramped, like we can only pay attention/spend time with one or two people before everything goes to shit, so being able to really spend time with our other Saiyan friends would be great.

Abusing super edgy half-demon-angel timestop powers in a climactic battle against your twin brother who was in no way beforehand established as being strong but lul the original games did it and we can't write for shit.

Ah, well she needs a husbando, and if she gets a waifu on top of that to keep her happy. More power too it.
Well I cant say its Blackfire, only one tapping that ass is Turles.
>Never played any of them, so was curious. What sorta edgy bullshit turns your hair white?
That's a damn shame really, 2 was the low point with everything else being top class shit.
The white hair in the real series is just from being half demon, and he and his brother have white hair because of it. Nothing else really.
>>2835532
>DmC. Pic related.
Isn't actually DMC, but a REALLY shitty reboot that was universally laughed at. As for the white hair in that series, first part in the early game was just a mob head that landed on his head. At the end he goes "full nephallim edgy man" after killing the replacement demon king, and fighting his brother because he doesn't want to rule over humanity. Also brother was jealous of the human pussy Donto was getting from his ex subordinate.

>>2835734
A few "journalists" that were on our side were only slightly hackier than the SJW "journalists" and it boiled down to mass groups of people cataloguing shit they said as evidence, while the idiots that acted as a mouth piece were convinced to shove their foot in their wide mouths. The rest was the SJWs hauling ass to try and take over everything they could get their dyed fingers on before their bullshit was caught by the general public. Its why a lot of the content on the internet, tv, movies, and comics are going down the drain. Doing their invasion in gaming was a smokescreen to mask their grabs for power elsewhere, while simultaneously solidifying their chokehold on the gaming industry with every new power base they grabbed. Its like a modern day blitzkrieg on thought, content, and free speech. If they weren't subhuman trash it would be fairly impressive.

Freya and Balder's storyline also kinda falls apart by the end too.
A good hour of Atreus and Kratos' story being cut (the part in between Atreus finding out he's a god and him killing Modi) also really fucks up the pacing.
>>
>>2835868
Yeah it felt really fuck jarring when Boi just started going nuts the second he found out the truth, and Freya being pissed about being rescued from the broken monster of a son she made felt dumb. Would have been interesting if she could have been a fuck partner in the next game.

About that arbiter fight.
Why the fuck don't we have Freeza do it instead? We know 100% that he's a prodigy. We've seen him do sit-ups and skyrocket his powerlevel. We've seen him pick up a move just from watching it be performed, I'm pretty sure.
He would be way better to put into the 1v1, if you ask me. And it would give him closure on not being there for Karn last time.

Freeza would definitely be able to VASTLY outpace the arbiter in training while enroute to the match.

QM UPDATE

I’ve finally almost got everything lined up for this coming arc, just a few little things left to prepare before it begins. As of right now, episode 56 will kick off the new arc at the usual time this Saturday at 11am EST. Had to do a lot of reading and even knocked the dust off my old ps2 controller, but I think this prep work will be well worth the wait. Might even have time to write that second epilogue this week I wanted to do.

Some kinda way, and definitely not a good one.
I think the fact that they didn't even try to CG her or get some decent makeup for her, on top of giving her the trashiest outfit possible in tandem with the shittiest wig I've seen since Pulp Fiction.
The worst part is that the show does have a budget for CG/SFX as evidenced by Starfire's lackluster star-flame-whatever, so all the problems with how she looks are confirmed intentional.
To sum it up, she looks complete shit on top of being completely unfaithful to any previous iteration of the character.
It's indicative of a lack of respect for the source material, a lack of effort, and general shit production quality.
It makes everything it touches look like shit.

From what I can tell(not having read that far) he isn’t that powerful. Defend/Counter based enemies are dangerous, but from what I can see he lacks the raw power to be a real threat. He was losing to Genos. GENOS.
>>
To be fair, Genos is plenty powerful in his own right, its usually extenuating circumstances like his fight with the Fish king or just being straight up outclassed that makes him lose. Being constantly at Saitama's side never helps, it makes him look weaker than he actually is
>>

>>2844905
>He was losing to Genos. GENOS.
Oh boy, things have changed quite a bit since the fight with Genos.
As for that fight itself, that was after a marathon of fighting heroes.
beforehand he defeated Metal Bat, Tanktop Master, 10 A-Class heroes (8 of them at the same time), and escaping from Watchdog Man.
Not to mention Genos had another extensive upgrade prior to the fight.
So I chalk that loss up to Garou having been exhausted and grievously injured beforehand.
Plus the interference by Bang, Bomb, and the Monster Association muddies things even further.
Needless to say, he's grown exponentially stronger in the 10+ chapters since that fight.
I think it was also said in the manga that he's close to breaking his limiter, à la Saitama.
>>
>>2844919
We all know Genos is the Vegeta to Saitama’s Goku, failing to the villians to make them seem stronger before getting wiped. But comparing Genos to the meteor shows his relative strengths to DragonballZ.
>>2844922
I’m not saying Garou isn’t strong. But he and most of the OPM cast are still in pre-Z Dragonball levels of power. I’m not saying they aren’t skilled, just that on a universal scale where little Chaya could now almost fight canon Namek saga Recoome, they’re completely not very powerful.
>>
>>2844936
Except by that logic most of the enemies you have had us fight had no right to be a challenge.
>>
>>2844936
I'm not talking actual canon strengths for the series, I'm more talking adjusted powerlevels characters have had in the quest.
I don't remember any covies doing anything as impressive physically impressive as the first WMAT in their respective canon for example.
>>
>>2844939
>>2844943
I was asked how he stacked up on the universal scale. Since I hadn’t gotten that far in OPM yet, I did a cursory search into him to see what he could do. I haven’t decided if I’ll even include him yet, so my scaling system couldn’t yet apply. I was just judging him based on his own source material. And asI said previously, defense and counter-based enemies are exceptionally dangerous.

>I also want a function where it can pump set amounts of various poison gasses into the room as well, especially those that can induce pain and/or muscle cramps
>+poison tolerance and +pain tolerance
That would be a much more difficult install job. There would be a whole lot going into that just to make sure you don’t kill everyone else in your ship, since it all runs off of the same air.
>>

>"Attention all hands..."

Does Raven know anything about long-term or permanent enchantment that might help upgrade the chamber further?
>>
>>2847841
Kek.
>>2847889
Raven does not. She hasn’t been working on spells of that type.
>>
>>2848248
Damn. Oh well.
On a similar subject, what are the chances of Karn getting Raven to teach him a thing or two about magic, so he can make portals to places he's been without needing to bother her every single time?
And what are the odds of finding someone who can teach us Antimagic, like the Covenant were using? Magic users are bullshit, and they need cockblocked against us warriors.
>>
>>2848267
>On a similar subject, what are the chances of Karn getting Raven to teach him a thing or two about magic, so he can make portals to places he's been without needing to bother her every single time?
Would depend on if Karn has any magical affinity or not. Someone magically gifted could always check you and perhaps see.
>spoiler
Good luck. That was industrial-scale ritual prayer work at play. And while you know a few magic users, you don’t know any clerics.
>>
>>2848308
To be fair, it was also a ritual meant to cover an entire planet. That's massive.
I imagine something intended for a single target would be a lot easier and simpler to pull off.
>>
>>2848327
>To be fair, it was also a ritual meant to cover an entire planet. That's massive.
It was actually three seperate, simultaneous rituals. They had to cover all the weak points in three dimensional space after all.
>I imagine something intended for a single target would be a lot easier and simpler to pull off.
If you found someone who knows single target antimagic, perhaps. One individual you’ve met so far for a fact does, but Truth wouldn’t teach you and yours.
>>
>>2848346
If Shin was remotely intelligent instead of a fucking retard, he would learn some dope-ass antimagic so he could deal with the greatest threat to him and the universe way easier.
Unfortunately, he never did (at least in the canon universe) because, like we all say, he's an idiot.

Antimagic that shuts down an opponent is extremely rare. Magic or magical artifacts that prevent magic from affecting you are still rare, but aren’t as rare as completely shutting down someone else’s magic.
>>2848372
Probably not. That’s a long uphill battle.
>>2848398
>lizard
>better than a Saiyan
When was that EVER true?
>>
>>2848479
Extreme rarity is a moot point when you've been alive for hundreds of thousands of years and legitimately possess scrying magic (not to mention the ability to teleport anywhere and are a fucking god of creation)
He has no excuse for not knowing antimagic. Or having antimagic artifacts at least.

King Cold, Frieza, Cooler. Maybe Kuriza? Nah Kuriza is a fucking disappointment. Maybe Swole Frieza will make his son not so pathetic.

Elder Kai had the scrying magic, not Supreme Kai.
He wasn’t directly affected by Babidi’s, Dabura’s, or Buu’s magic.

Also not wrong.

Well you didn't specify. So I am technically correct. The best kind of correct.
>>
>>2848527
Is it possible for someone to kill and replace Shin as Supreme Kai?
>>
>>2848308
I imagine Karn must have some juju what with all his exposure to the natural energies of New Sadala and the energy from the Demon Realm.
Not that we need magic to manipulate the fabric of reality. I'm sure we could do that by willing something while exerting a good chunk of energy.
>>
>>2848511
The only redeeming quality of Shin is his top-tier character design. We need a proper non-retarded Saiyan warrior to take up the mantle of Supreme Kai.
>>
>>2848545
Truly the best kind of correct.
>>2848546
>kill and replace
Not quite. His apprentice would take up the mantle, and if you killed him as well then there’d be no Supreme Kai. And no Supreme Kai means no Beerus and Whis.
>>2848583
He has been exposed to magic, but that won’t determine if one can use magic or not.
>>2848597
Shin and Kibito did look pretty good their first appearance.
>>
Wait why the fuck don't we just ask Towa if she knows anybody we can learn some anti-magic from?
>>
>>2848613
Well it's not like This wouldn't look for a replacement as soon as Beerus died, right?
>>
>>2848613
>And no Supreme Kai means no Beerus and Whis.

>tfw Frieza the Destroyer and Karn the Supreme Kai

Mortals rule, Zamasu drools, eat that ningen dick you tool.

Subarashii!

>>2848614
I'm sure getting enough time to talk to someone with outside help would have Chronoa step in.
>>
>>2848614
The question is still out if Karn is even capable of using magic.

>>2848632
>inb4 someone posts Golden Freeza/Super Saiyan God Karn as Jojo/Caeser
>>

>until a new Destroyer is named.
How does that happen? Does the grand angel just pop into the vacant universe and hold a super tournament?
>>
>>2848676
Hey can we charge the bloodstone with the planets energy? Or would it just come out as regular ki?
>>
>>2848676
I want to ask, how long do saiyans usually live? I heard most of them die ‘young’ in battle but in fact they are still considered young and battle ready at the age of 80.
>>
>>2848699
I feel that may be detrimental to the planet.
>>
>>2848676
I mean could we kill Shin and Beerus and transfer all their powers and abilities to two others? Basically take the power from inept gods and replace them with powerful yet competent mortals to do those jobs?
>>
I just realized that we're starting to sound a lot like Zamasu with how we decided that the supreme guardian of the universe is unfit for the job and that we should replace him.
>>
>>2848688
>How does that happen?
Good question. Ask Whis sometime, or perhaps Towa? She may know.
>>2848699
That could have terrible, unforseen side-effects. Would not advise.
>>2848708
Good question. Longer than average humans, but not anything like double a human lifespan or anything. Once their bodies leave their ‘peak’ fighting age range, they decline far faster than humans do.
>>2848715
>I mean could we kill Shin and Beerus
Good luck with that.
>and transfer all their powers and abilities to two others?
But you can’t. You hold no sway over their power. You can kill them, as Zamasu proved. But you cannot steal their mantles, nor the powers that come with them.
>>2848738
Anons really wouldn’t want Supreme Kai’s job. He’s not supposed to kill anything, outside of things that atcually threaten his own(and by extension Beerus’s) life. In-character, you don’t even know what Supreme Kai does.
>>
>>2848754
>In-character, you don’t even know what Supreme Kai does.
Jack shit Mondays through Fridays, and fuck all on the weekends.
That said, there's gotta be a position open for some other type of deity...maybe a planetary guardian deity or something?

Look, I just want a competent Supreme Kai and God of Destruction, just like everybody else has wanted in Dragonball for years and years. If we can't do something like that, or help someone else do something like that, then I'm all for letting Zamasu kill them. I posted pic related once, I'm posting it again because it feels like every time Shin or Beerus get any screentime they get closer and closer to necessitating the final solution, you feel me?
>>
>>2848773
A universe where the Supreme Kais and the God of Destruction do their jobs right is probably a boring place to live in relative to this quest’s continuity. Or possibly a much more oppressive place.

Things got out of hand because Shin thinks that a lassiez-faire approach to running things is borderline neglect
or abandonment.

Any force strong enough to disrupt the balance either gets nipped in the bud or Hakai’d in the bud. Then a strong vetting and review process ensures that such a thing won’t happen again or that there will be enough warning beforehand.
>>
>>2848773
zamasu did nothing wrong

>>2848754
Taking supreme kai's job could be pretty comfy once karn has ascended to godhood and everything is dead.
He's not *supposed* to kill things, but that doesn't mean he can't.

Not that he'd need to, because with karn in the position you can bet the destroyer (maybe meloka?) would be doing his fucking job.
If karn ends up going full guardian like i kind of hope he does, it wouldn't be impossible for him to take up a similar position, something like an unofficial guardian of the universe.

what does new salda think of karn? was it just an alliance of convenience?
>>
>>2849110
Why govern creation when you can govern destruction? Why even take on such a mantle requiring such strict adherence to duty? Why not, instead, become the living God of the Saiyan race? Why not lead your people to greatness and beyond?
>>
>>2849125
Karn doesn't want to destroy, he wants to *fight*
Big difference

More people alive, more people to fight.
Therefore, it's best to foster the growth of the strongest and most robust universe possible.

Karn's desires are actually in-line with increasing the mortal score of the universe.
>>
>>2849135
What I'm saying is, in terms of how kino each type of god would be
Creation < Destruction < God of the Saiyans
Creation gods are fucking cucked. Destruction is mildly better. And being the god of your people is top-tier.
Of the three, go for the last one.
>>
>>2849140
>not being president of the universe instead

>>
>>2849434

>>
>>2849434
>>2849442
The king's going to live a long, long time if karn can help it, though.
>>
>>2849463
Karn has proven before that he has no desire to rule. And King Vegeta has proven he can take care of himself.
>>
>>2849473
This.
But some mystical bullshit guardian position is different.

The job description is basically "keep the balance" and how that's done is up to interpretation.
Karn's interpretation would of course be, genocide whatever is currently stirring shit. It's the perfect job for a godly karn.

Which is basically the destroyer position, but with lots of freedom.
>>
>>2849473
Yeah, all these big titles come loaded with a ton of responsibility anyhow. Not to mention how little we'd get to fight if we had to run everything.
>>
>>2849476
Karn is a much better champion than defender, ruler, or Guardian. Champions fight for those they stand in for, be it a planet, a king, or an emperor.
>>2849477
You do NOT want the administrative responsibility of restoring New Salda, or establishing interplanetary trade, or underlings scheming to kill you and ascend your throne.
>>
>>2849488
I'd like to see them find an assassin that'd actually be able to kill Karn. Unless Hit has a U7 equivalent, then I'd be scared

>>
>>2849614

>>
So have we decided in names for our twins yet?
>>
>>2850383
No, that’ll most likely be a debate in tomorrow’s thread. Unless some unforeseen events come Karn’s way.
>>
>>2850702
I know the popular pick is the names of the two Saiyan's who sacrificed themselves to cover our retreat into the city.
I think naming one after Karn's mother and the other after one of Meloka's parents is worth consideration as well.
>>
>>2850823
They have to be named after the greatest food of all time. Couscous. The food so nice they named it twice.

They sold out and abandoned their fans.

As far as i'm concerned, 60 is the end of the series. Once part two is out, i'm done. I won't be waiting for another one, and i won't be looking at their shit ever again. They wanted their money and professional careers and they got them, so they can go fuck themselves in hollywood.

It's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last. People do it constantly.

That is one popular idea. That’s also a good idea, but Meloka only knows her mother’s name.
