Digging The Grace that we're actually poke autist, it's a nice change up from the type of character that usually gets played.

One thing I will point out is that you could try using some of the formatting options. It makes dialogue look a bit punchier and can make it easy to differentiate characters if certain ones speak in a certain color. Other than that keep up the good work!

You finally arrive to the shelter it’s a pretty big building filled with cages different type of cages according to the type of Pokémon its holding and this one´s “classification.”

Roaming the installations and in the first cages are the more docile of Pokémon, they are the ones with more chances of adoption and the ones that can be more easily trained, they also tend to become Pokémon of public service.

At the back there are bigger cages for stray Pokémon that have been brought here for causing trouble and violent behavior, many of them never leave the shelter…

Across a hall there's a room for sick and injured Pokémon, the volunteers at the shelter try their best to cure them, but since the shelter runs on donation money, medical equipment and medicines can be expensive and hard to come by so many of them aren't so lucky. If only they had one of those machines they have overseas…

Kali takes out something from her bag. It seems like a candy? Well, giving treats to Pokémon it’s a common practice, although caramels wouldn’t be your first choice, also it can’t create a bad habit if they get used to them…. Wait that’s not a normal candy

Kali unwraps the weird shiny, almost glowing candy and passes it through the bars of the Pokémon cage. The Growlithe sniffs it´s out, gives him a little lick, and then eats the rare candy. Are those even legal? Almost immediately his pupils suddenly contract, fire starts producing from the Pokémon´s mouth with every agitated breath. He then let’s out an enhanced ember attack, heating the bars of his cage until they are red hot and missing us barely.

The Pokémon looks at Kali and barks, Kali can´t stop grinning

Growlithe: Are you not afraid of me?

Kali: We´ll take this one!

Houndour seems completely pissed, but his anger isn't caused by you or his captors. He seems to be complaining about something else. You decide to listen to him, maybe he'll explain it more clearly. You repeat the same process you did when talking to growlithe. He doesn't calm down as much as the other pokémon but at least he becomes easier to understand.

Apparently he and his pack got attacked by group of trainers. They got the jump on them while they were sleeping in its home near the dump. He stayed back and let the younger ones escape. He is furious about how trainers think they can just appear out of nowhere and beat the shit out of unexpecting Pokémon.

Man, it seems like a lot of pokémon need help. More than you can give in all honesty. It may be tough but you really need to make a decision.

The number of pokémon depends on the housing conditions, you house can currently afford to house 3 (small) Pokémon

A medium pokémon counts as having 2 small ones

A big pokémon counts as housing 3

And there´s certain species who cannot be kept without a Pokéball by law

It actually isn't that expensive. $200 for a single full-heal and $500 for a full team heal (trainer benefits)

The problem is, that thanks to current laws, only Pokémon with legal owners apply for professional medical care. This law has been passed to reduce the numbers of stray Pokémon in the city.

So far I'm partial to getting Houndour out and working part-time,see if we can't waive the fee by doing so. I guess checking the docile ones can't hurt, though.
