>What is this?
This is the Renegade Regiment, a freeform RP . In this quest, you play Renegade guardsmen and chaos cultists under the command of Commander Irvis as the regiment struggles against the shackles of the Imperium

>Can I join?
Sure, join right in. For now, you’re restricted to having your character be a human or abhuman/mutant. Also of course, they have to be the kind of person to worship or at least work with the Chaos Gods.

>Can I have multiple characters?
Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.

>How do you play?
We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.

>Jay sits at a corner, offering random adolescents "a dose of freedom"
>>
>Meanwhile, in a Hamlet located close to the mountain, sharp screams and blood curdling cries are sounded as the residents drown in their own blood. Only a few of the residents manage to escape their homes unscarred physically. All of them however are mentally destroyed.

>Reports come through that a single individual is responsible for such destruction, and that this individual was not human, nor Xeno.
>>
>>2736002
>Alpharius nods at the report and puts it in his "to do" pile
>>
>>2735985
So you wanted to talk about my property?

> He moves one of his pawns

What would you be referring to?
>>
>>2736056
Quite simply, you will leave Catalina to her work, if I win the game we are playing, and you get her if I lose the game we are playing.

I have had quite enough of your Brunhilde’s antics.

Also, stop playing chess. It’s clearly not why you’re here. I expected you to work that out.
>>
>>2736056
>>2736064
>Alpharius shouts from the other room
"You better not be using my chess board in there!"

Nope
>>
>>2736064
And what game are we to be playing
>>
>>2736122
The goblets on the table Jaan.
>>
>>2736129
I do not understand what game that is. So you would obviously have the advantage here
>>
>>2736144
One of them is poisoned you utter moron.

Refuse to drink either and you concede the challenge, meaning that you keep your slave firmly away from mine and forever swear to not try and steal my property. Drink and die and I win, clearly
If you drink and I die, you obviously get Catalina.

You can drink from either goblet by the way, and we drink at the same time.

So go on, make your choice
>>
>>2736157
this is not any terms i have agreed to

and you do not have the power to impose these terms on me

> He smiles
>>
>>2736392
Oh, sure, you might say that.

I doubt the others will see it like that. Besides, if you truly believe so, why are you still here?

Play the game or give up. Your choice
>>
>>2736407
I’m still here because i have no reason to leave

and what others?

your fellow tricksters they i have no care for and i have not accepted your challenge so I can leave without consequence
>>
>>2736418
My fellow tricksters?

Oh no, nothing so crude.

It’s not just us that hate cowards you know.

You seen Jaan, what you have in front of you is an opportunity to get exactly what you and Brunhilde want. All you have to do is win the game.

That is, if you have worked out what the game is yet.

Jaan.

What the fuck was that.

I’m genuinely confused.

Why did you pour one of the goblets into another one of the goblets. Why did you think that would work. What the fuck are you doing?

I disagree.
I put poison in front of you and gave you the option to drink it.

That is not attempted poisoning
>>
>>2736735
that is a difference of opinion

>>
>>2736747
Then you took one of the goblets of poisoned wine and poured it into the other goblet, ruining the chess set and the table
>>
>>2736729
>>2736735
Might I suggest a more accurate battle of wills? A simple game, you make the agreement and the first to make a violent gesture towards the other looses. You trade insults and jokes as you carry on your standard business. The presence and interference of a third party are no excuse, and it's even encouraged to utilize this additional antagonization.
>>2736735
What you did was insult the intelligence of everyone involved with a childish game of chance. Either it's a base 50/50 or the game is rigged in your favor. There is nothing to be determined by the assault on gentile discord that you presented as a game of wits.
>>
>>2736749
“...Operator 7, what chess set did you use. Was it a personal set?”

>>2736723

>>2736752
And you.

Don’t pretend you weren’t with Jaan. There is literally no reason for you to have been there. You had no way of knowing unless told and you already understood the situation before having to ask about it.
>>2736753
Yes.
>>
>>2736757
Wonderful, come inside and find a man, well an astartes, named Alpharius, he's out..."glorious leader"

what in the name of the gods would you want.

"Wonderful."

>And with that, Pyrrhus walks off, probably to blow something up.

>>2736763
Could you lead me to him? I trust you the most as of now, as I think you are not a human.
>>
>>2736762
I saw two overfilled wine glasses and saw were one individual tried pouring it from one glass to another. Either it's a classic game of chance, of an odd coincidence. As for why I was there, I frequently wander, where I wind up is no one's business but chance.
>>
>>2736770
That’s a girl?

>>2736775
Can you explain that to me by the way?
I’m still genuinely confused at the wine pouring.

Slaaneshi excess is beyond any reasoning, either that or he wanted to mix both wines, were they the same or different kinds?

Brunhilde was still in Jaan's room, at the moment she was taking a nap right where Jaan last saw her. One could guess about what she was dreaming about, but they didn't guess that she was dreaming of her and Catalina walking side by side inside a entire imperial church being burned as they walked with sevens tied to the pillers and being burned to a crisp by the inferno they would be wrong.

She had considered doing a few things to the Valkyrie that she would probably be using for some time, such as painting a few marks of her aerial victories on the thing. But for now, she was focused on something else. The annoying Seven was away for a time, which meant she had some time to speak to Catalina without being interrupted, time she planned on using well. Maybe if she was lucky, she could convince her why she would be better off with her then seven, or to do something with her. Hopefully, she would be able to show Catalina all the pleasures she was missing out on, and maybe more then just a part of her would start to love her...

She simply would have gotten out of the Valkyrie and simply walked around, looking for Catalina, trying not to be too distracted by her own thoughts.

Brunhilde would, despite Jays poor instructions seem to make a wonderful feast of food for one person, cooked and seasoned very well. It wasn't perfect, but it was extremely well prepared and cooked, especially considering how little she knew of cooking beforehand. I hope I didn't take too long though, you must be starving after all." I can take care of the dishes if you would like as well, after all you shouldn't waste time with cleaning them when you have someone else to do it for you." She was a bit worried as she didn't ever give anyone a massage before, but she knew to some extent how it was done. She would walk in and say "Anything you wish, my mistress. Be it my original name or something you desire. Either way, if you wish me to change to some other place, or if I'm simply doing a bad job, let me know. I want you to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I will start with the upper back however, unless you would wish somewhere else." I already said they want their followers to have pleasure, but they also like excess as well, which usually goes hand in hand with pleasure as gluttony and greed tend to be two things that leads to the one doing such things being very happy. They also appreciate artisans for their art and good crafts work as not only is viewing the work a good artisan can make be pleasurable but so too is the satisfaction of making a work of pure art, I believe this also expands to skill in...well...anything really, as well. Out of all the gods, I think they are best, as all they want is for you to be enjoying yourself all the time, and why wouldn't you strive to make your life and self as happy as can be? Brunhilde would sigh, before realizing maybe someone else in the nearby quarters might just have something that she could take that had information on Slaanesh, information she would read if she found it before giving it to Catalina. Hopefully Jaan's soldiers didn't lock their doors...

The area seems to be covered in a bit of rubble with a dead body here and there, but you spot the prize, a serpentine looking daemon, one that certainly needs to be purged in the holiest of imperial fires, but one that seems to have an air of authority, and you deal with those types all too often.

>You see it land flawlessly and walk up to one of the better looking female captives among the crowd

>Thinking of all the payouts and rewards you could gain under the employment of something so powerful, why would you want to miss out?

I'm sure I could make that little harem of mine come true...i could see it now! Me, the Chief, surrounded by the most beautiful and battle hardened boxums. With the best tech and gear money could buy, while exposing all those sexy bits. Loyalty so grand in each and every single one of them, it outshines the emperor's most fanatical subjects.

As it centers itself in the largest concentration of captives, you play your cards.

>You reveal your half assed hidden spot around the corner and fire off 2 Nova flares above the crowd. The flares shine like holy beacons, brighter than the emperor's Astronomicon.

>With a widening smirk plastered on your face, you stroll toward the crowd, vintage hat of the West giving you enough shade to keep the novas from fucking up your own vision. With both Angelus Bolter Carbines unholstered and trained on the head honcho, you fire off two warning rounds across the area, intentionally missing the one who seems to be in charge here.

But I will admit, i sure don't see specimens such as yourself around these parts, so I can only assume you're one of those purebred dogs the nobles tend to walk around? Perhaps a mutated mixed breed the gangers made for fighting?

>You notice some of the goons getting antsy and re-apply both finger tips to each trigger while scanning the crowd

All jests aside, you don't happen to speak gothic do you? Would break my heart if no one else here with a weapon could enjoy my jokes with me...

Reckon you never heard of me before, so let me introduce myself.

Now I reckon you folks are aware of the ruckus you've been causing here...right? I sure do hope so, because i thought it Would be a kind gesture to inform you that the current bounties on your head could buy me a small void ship stocked with the finest whisky and wines.

So I could A: Try my hand at taking said bounties, and making off with some women, riding the stars.

B: Play an Ace up my sleeve if you try anything and blow all of these future heretics in the making to kingdom come. And sir, I am miiiiighty sure you didn't come here to waste some of your troops for nothing.

Or we could have a nice chat about my possible employment within your ranks, as I do so rightfully claim the title of "thee most BESTEST...of bounty hunters" these streets have to offer.

>The Mechadendrite, large needle included, turns to face Jaan for a moment, making a slight jabbing motion before turning back to Colt.

>>2750198
Oh such a shame

So despite liberation you insist on wearing the symbols of your oppression

I was hoping you would be more open. You know those assets can be a great deal more useful in conversation if you don't hide them under robes

>>
>>2750205
Carnal fl---the hell? Shes a got'damn machine, look at her! When's the last time you got your hands on a normal woman?!
>Getting impatient

Ok look! How about we drop this whole bounty thing on your head, and you try tossing me an offer I can't refuse. I'd hate to kill ya or your cohorts. Plus, you managed to kill quite a few important faces around here, so employment is gonna be low for a bit since gangers won't have much competition between each other.

>Weapons Aiming steadily, you offer your services again

I really hope you come around to my way of thinking pal, I'm sure you could use someone with skills such as mine to hunt down does you need dead. Perhaps you'd like a scout? I'm not quite sure what your warband does for a living, but I've got a guess you folks belong to that slaanic god or something.

>Inhaled deeply, slowly letting out a sigh

"After all, I wouldn't hurt you unless you made me do that."

>He lets the Grenade Launcher off his shoulder and holds it normally, ready to fire.

"But none of us wants that, right? Now, some of my friends, they wouldn't be as merciful as me, so i'm quite scared for your safety! "Greetings my men, we have a few paths before us! What shall we do with this city! What shall we do with our prize! Should we burn it, burn it so hot and brightly that the smoke and fires will rise to the sky and tell all of their coming doom? Shall we keep it as a pen for slaves, so they may toil endlessly for the dark gods? Shall we let loose the faithful here, and turn it into a true city dedicated to the gods? Tell me my men, what shall be done!?"
>>

>Pyrrhus hums to himself merrily as the helpless citizens submit, motioning for them to follow him along with the two from earlier on, watched carefully by Sort, grenade in hand. Eventually, after a small amount of searching, Pyrrhus decides he's done enough and walks to the square, satisfied with the results of the battle. Alpharius speaks, Pyrrhus nods along before speaking out.

"I'm a bit tired of sleeping in a sack under a tent. And hey, what's stopping us from really enjoying the fruits of our labour? I vote to make this city our own!"

"We've already taken what we can from this place, yeah? Fuck it then, we should burn it and all the weaklings inside it. If they can't put up a fight, or at the very least make a decent slave, then they simply don't deserve to live. We've got enough space back at our place for all the lads anyway, right? Doesn't make sense to spread ourselves out too much, even I see that."
>>
>>2750980
If we burn everything and everyone what is the point of our struggle?

We should treat the civilians with respect educate and enlighten them then set them free to do what they desire

Did we not rebel against monsters what would we be if we became monsters ourselves. It is the duty of the strong to guide and protect the weak, be it from themselves or others. Not to kill them
>>
>>2750868
Burning would be unwise unless we stage it so it is as if the imperium burns the city.

I advise it be kept mostly intact for the housing of servants of chaos, as to not undermine our local sympathy
>>

>Kanik groaned as the follower of Slaanesh spoke, muttering something before turning to him.

"Shut up, Slaaneshi scum. If the weak need protection then they can just become strong. If they can't, they deserve to die. No wonder you purple freaks got your ass kicked by those arbite cowards, most of you are probably just weaklings hiding behind the stronger ones. Too bad they're probably weak too."
>>
>>2751015
Ow you misunderstood something didn't you? Not everyone can be strong you understand.

Because if everyone is strong then no one is. And to survive we need babies. Babies are weak yes?

So if we kill all the weak we will al die. That is why the relationship between the strong and the weak should be that of a father and son. Provide guidance, discipline and safety so they can grow and become stronger
>>
>>2751038
"Not everyone can be strong?"

>He burst out laughing, eventually stopping and catching his breath.

"You're even more of an idiot than I thought. Everyone CAN be strong, it's just that some choose not to be, or simply give up along the way. Those are the people a Khornate despises. I hold more hatred for those fleeing arbite cowards, than any number of runty little children, because at least the children might actually attempt to fight back, even though they have no chance of winning. Being the weakest does not mean being the most puny in a group of strong men, it is giving up your strength out of cowardice, or perhaps laziness."

And an opportunist is what I am. Its what I live for. So long as the reward is great and spoils are divvied up to whoever did the most work, I'm sure you'll have plenty need of my services. Why is your gods so intent on fucking everyone over in their service? Wouldn't the forces of chaos be stronger if y'all weren't so twisted and mentally unstable?

They are unshackled from the disguised physical and emotional tyranny of the Imperium, and as such use all the emotions they can muster in frightening amounts. Chaos has its tyrants, its villains, its monsters, but we do not hide them; truth is evident in Chaos; in all other ways, the truth is hidden, obscured, locked away. The gods are not intent on fucking over those in their service; they have high standards, and harsh punishments. If somebody can succeed, then by the gods they will succeed to the highest possible point. If they fail, then by the gods, they will fail to the highest possible low. This also means avoiding having her afflicted with any serious diseases.

You could make her serve Barabass for a day in exchange for the book, I’m sure that would be amusing, but ultimately the operation is up to you.

As I am sure you all already know, the best recaff is brewed with water, the greatest meals are served with bread or some other starch. All things are better after time spent without, and are better still when they aren't cluttered and crowded. Quality is preferable to quantity in many things. A constant quest for more is madness, to seek better is the true path of Slaanesh. That is why we are here, to gather the artists and perfectionists and to bring the rest over with how much better our stuff is. To that end we shall, nay we must, become the best. There are few enough of us now, let us begin training under the best there is. Let's find some melee experts to train under, after all, it's easier to make art when you can look closely.

Infiltration is easy. So is keeping the fodder in line boss. Although... I'll need to make a few changes to my gear, especially getting a new servitor or the equivalent if I'm to slither my way into an enemy base full of deamons and cultists.

>Fingers slide across the rim of the hat on your head, properly seating itself in an exaggerated fashion

For the right price, I could always blow everything up that belongs to your enemies...perhaps You need someone alive? Capturing is what I do best.

Espionage, sabatoge, tracking, hunting, killing big beasts that try to over-compensate... it's all up to you boss
>>
>>2752459
"Hmm... I don't like your tone. This is not an enemy base full of daemons and cultists, this is your home, filled with the servants of the god, both the mortal and the neverborn. They are your family. However, it is a quarrelsome family, filled with struggle and infighting. You must view your brethren with suspicion, for you never know when one will try to stab you in the back to gain favor. You know this to be true."

"Anyways, since you mentioned it first, you will infiltrate one of the four factions. I have little need for an ear among Tzeentch or Slaanesh's ilk, for the followers of the Weaver already tell me each other's secrets to gain favor, and the Slaaneshi's will be kept in line... long enough. That leaves you the option of either infiltrating the Khornates or the Nurglites; which do you choose?"
>>
>>2752481

>Looks back to Alpharius

I'll try my hand with any camps and strongholds dedicated to the Lord Of Rot. Should be an interesting rodeo if need to kill one of them. I managed to steal a document off of an critically wounded inquisitor before. And the documents showed me some useful info on taking one of them out, including how hard they are to kill compared to Astartes and Warbosses.

>With a smile, you brighten up and prepare for the worst to come

Should be a fun assignment boss! I don't mind bagging a few kills or artifacts under my belt from that pantheon.
>>

"Nurgle it is then!"

>Alpharius leads Colt back to his normal quarters and pours him a small glass of high quality amasec.

"The late commander Irvis had class, I'll give him that. Anyways, how do you intend to infiltrate the Nurglites? Given the fact that you are as yet not tied to a god, and I would like a long term agent placed within their camp, I would recommend simply joining their camp in a semi-legitimate matter. There would be little suspicion that way, and less of a chance of dying from a horrible disease. Although if you would rather not dedicate your soul to the Plague Father, you are welcome to try something else. However, remember, failure is not an option."

"Ah, greetings. I've heard you already met good brother Boilspew. I know he may be a bit slow, but I wouldn't trust anyone else to keep me safe as much as I do him."

>As he got closer it became clear that the armour was fused to his body, tough, dark green skin growing over the edges of the plates of carapace.

Brunhilde would stop what she was doing and seem confused, why was her master mad? She thought she was doing well but it seemed as if she wasn't...Was she just a bad slave? First with her beloved mistress and now with her not as loved master...She started to feel worried and doubtful of herself, afraid that she would fail Catalina time and time again, and what Jaan would do if she kept disappointing him. >The sadness that had overtaken him was suddenly pushed away as he continued. He seemed happier than when he first arrived in fact.

"But, we do have a decently sized and stable following, and considering that you've joined us, it's obvious that there are still many others who will happily join our family as well. I think that alone could brighten my day no matter how dark it is."

>He laughed, though this quickly ended up spiraling into a terrible coughing fit.

"But, again, all this matters little right now. I'm sure you understand that I can't simply give you such a useful blessing right away, yes? I'll need you to do something first, something easy, but still important. Does that sound fair?"

Brunhilde would be surprised by Catalina's sudden appearance, but she certaintly wouldn't be bothered in the slightest by it. She would be a bit upset however that she seemed to trust her master more then her. "Uhm, I'm sorry Catalina, but if I recommend something to you it wouldn't really be a test of loyalty, as I could simply say something I actually don't mind doing, of course, I wouldn't do such a thing intentionally, but I feel like the things I really really wouldn't want to do would be things I couldn't even think of... Oh good welcome home sweetie

> his smile turns serious

I have heard things recently. And I have also noticed that my rooms have not been cleaned properly. Why is that? Some of my books are gone. Why is that?

> he is now staring at her with anger

So I have decided we will have a talk. About responsibility. About trust. About loyalty and about respect. Specifically your recent behaviour
>>
>>2753282

She seemed happy at how Jaan greeted her, but that quickly changed when Jaan suddenly changed disposition. "What have you heard, master? And that's odd, I swear I cleaned them, did I miss a few specks of dirt somewhere?" She seemed to become worried as he seemed angry, and also a bit scared. Though, she wouldn't say anything else, just nod and wait for Jaan to continue speaking.
>>
>>2753295
The cleaning was sloppy at best as if done in a hurry. Also the men on guard reported you running around looking for things

And you spent an awful amount of time out there and not doing your duties

> he smiles again his face still radiating disappointment and sadness

Tell me sweet Burnhilde what did you do instead of performing the duties and responsibilities I have given you? And don't you lie I have gotten something special for you
>>
>>2753314

Brunhilde felt as if she was at a crossroads, one way to Jaan she knew she wouldn't take, and the other to Catalina. Instead she went a third route, as she knew she was terrible at lying, so why not tell the truth but not the whole story? Brunhilde would look down, and say "I was getting a few things I was asked to get, master. It was impotent, but it is clear I managed my time poorly. If you would like I will start cleaning again until not even a spot is left, or do something else you'd like."
>>
>>2753338
It's about a message!

You are making this clear for me you have other loyalties. Loyalties you value over your master. A master that has respected you. Believed you were ready for responsibilities and privileges. Trusted you would do your best. And how do you repay me!

Looking for another to follow? Stealing from the one who has done nothing but good to you betraying both his trust and yourself?!

> Jaan calms down slightly

I belived in you. That you really could be someone who could handle responsibility. Someone I could ask to do something and it would be done to perfection. I liked your taste and your body. But when I look at you now I feel only disappointment in myself for trusting you. And in you for betraying all I have done for you
>>
>>2753365 #

Brunhilde would remain quiet throughout everything Jaan said, not even making the slightest sound. She would continue not to say anything even after he finished speaking, though a part of her was surprised he actually liked how she looked, the though only briefly did that thought cross her mind. Most of her mind was focused on how she failed Jaan, and while some of what happened was because of her serving Catalina over Jaan, she couldn't help but worry she would fail her too. She wasn't even thinking about how she would probably be punished, just her failure, and a small part of her that seemed to be growing though maybe she would never be able to serve Catalina, or anyone for that matter, properly, only making things worse for them, and what use is a broken tool, and what was the real difference between a possession and a slave? None...So if she was broken...the only logical thing would be for her to be thrown away... if Jaan payed particular attention to her face despite her facing the floor rather than him, he might see her crying slightly, and silently.
>>
>>2753402
You are sad?

Good you should be. What did you do? Why are you not talking?

> he looks at her with disappointed eyes

Did I fail you? Should I have been harsher?

If all of this is about Catalina you should stop seeing her sweetie

> he walks over to her placing a hand on her chin

It's destroying what I like in you. It's destroying you
>>
>>2753564

Brunhilde would feel a bit worse when jaan said what she currently was feeling was a good thing. She would struggle to speak, and her voice would sound badly strained to sound intelligible. "I-I...I-It's h-hard t-to right n-now." Is all she really could get out that was coherent. When he asked if he failed her or if he should have been harsher, she would barely respond by slightly shaking her head. If anything it was the other way around, she failed him, as simple as that. But she wouldn't respond when he asked if it was all about Catalina, not that she could properly respond to such a thing. She couldn't just stop seeing Catalina, just like she couldn't stop breathing, the only result at the end of both would be an uncomfortable death. Why was Jaan saying this though? He was the only one remotely close to being as good in her eyes as Catalina, in fact a part of her before this wanted them to live together and had partial ownership of her. The only thing she could think of as a reason was simply jealousy, and that was fine, who wouldn't be jealous of her mistress Catalina? But what really was the point? She failed to even properly clean a room, she failed to provide information on the god she followed, and she tortured Catalina in the past. She was just a terrible servant, at least that's how she saw herself, and a part of her wanted Jaan to just throw her into a cold and damp pit to stay inside until she withered away, like a broken tool cast out into the elements. Then again, she possibly would find a way to screw that one up too... When Jaan put a hand on her chin, if he pulled her head up to look at her face he would see more than just sadness upon her face, but misery. In fact she didn't even hear the last thing Jaan said, her mind too clouded with her flood of thoughts.
>>
>>2753932
I was proud of you. You know

Your acceptance of your situation

> he starts to scratch her between the ears

I felt like you could be trusted with authority and responsibilities.

Do you understand? I never wanted or thought I would need to have this conversation. You were spotless before this.

Whatever you are doing it's destroying you do you understand this?
>>
>>2754645

Brunhilde continued not to say a word, she didn't even hear what Jaan said due to all the thoughts racing through her mind until he scratched her head. She would snap out of it enough to hear and pay attention to what else he had to say, and the only response she gave was a nod. He was right, she couldn't be a slave to two people who where separate, she would have to deal with this if Catalina didn't become Jaans slave, or if jaan didn't become Catalina's slave...yes, everything would be better if Jaan respected and accepted Catalina as his superior, if he loved her and saw her as a part of Slaanesh as she did, maybe she and Jaan could preform for Catalina's entertainment...yes that would redeem herself, that would prove she wasn't broken, and with some hard work, she could prove herself to be a better servant then before. Then again, if you are at the bottom you can only go up...
>>

"You are." She would say, feeling a bit more confident now knowing what she needed to do, though wether or not he would stay that way when he submitted to Catalina's authority was up for debate. After all, Catalina might make her in charge of him, or they could be made equals. She was feeling a bit better about herself now, especially with the head scratching but while she didn't show it, on the inside she still was upset, mostly at herself.

>You got a job to do, so drink it, if worst comes to worst, blow their brains out and set fire to the pool, certainly looks volatile...

Mmm....alright. Guess it's time to meet the All Father!.........

>Colt stares at the bowl for a moment

Wish me....luck.....

>Colt grabs the bowl with his hands, then uses on to remove his bandana stationed around his lips and nose

>He presses his lips against the bowl, slowly sipping it's contents

>Trying your damn hardest not to vomit or taste anything....well....you taste all of it, and no amount of salting or scorched earth raids on your tastebuds is gonna get rid of the taste...

>Colt only managed to finish half the contents of the bow- be-ore he pa-ses ou------....

>Colt blacks out

>Rolls a 1d100 to see what happens

>Life...
>You... you are still alive...
>You did not die.
>You drank liquid death and lived!
>And... what you drank did not kill you...
>It has made you stronger!
>Where once there was a constant, old, and aching pain from an old wound, now there is only a pleasant sizzling sensation. And you know exactly who to thank...
>Nurgle...
>Your eyes open back up, and all the world seems a little less dull, everything a little more bearable. You look yourself over. Besides a slight pallor to your skin, your outer form remains untouched by the most visible of the plague father's gifts...
>Though inside... you can feel things moving around inside. It's oddly... pleasant. Comforting even. Rationally, you should be freaking out. But why bother? Everything is fine. Everything evens out in the end.

"Only if it's from someone important like the commander and I have no orders from you. Of course, that will hopefully change in the future." She would say. Really despite a terrible inability to lie, she seemed to be getting around that by saying things that where true and putting them in a better light, or at least redirecting them away from the larger reasons and instead focusing on the little things more then anything else. She did truely wish that she wouldn't have to follow the orders of anyone but a single person, just that the person she wished to be following orders from was Catalina and not Jaan, not that she would ever say such a thing to anyone but Catalina...hopefully things would change in time...
>>

Change in what way?

> Jaan abruptly stops the scratching
>>
>>2754855

She seems a bit confused before saying "You should know already. I would rather not have to things coming from the commander or someone as influential as him, just my true owner." Of course her true owner, at least in her mind was Catalina, but surely Jaan wouldn't know that, right?
>>
>>2754861
And who is your true owner?

> he caress chin forcing her to look into his eyes
>>
>>2754864

She still seems confused "I thought you asked this earlier. Master, who do you think is my one true owner?" She was actually a bit confused at how he seemed almost paranoid about her loyalty.
>>

You didn't awnser my question sweetie. If you think you have already awnsered the question then this should not be hard. Right sweetie?

> his serpentine eyes are locked in hers as if trying to se into her mind

"I already said you where my master, do you not think that you are my true owner? Do you...think I'm a broken tool because of my recent failures not worth your time? If so I could understand why you would feel that way but...you don't think that, right? Maybe you want the situation reversed and me mistress over you, owner of myself? No, that's clearly not it, that is a silly notion, a possession isn't able to be a master or mistress...master, why do you not think you are my true master and owner? Please be kind to me and tell me why? I don't want to keep guessing."
>>
>>2754892
You are not a broken tool sweetie.

I am just disappointed. I wanted to think you could be trusted. That you could be the one who could take care of my household if I am busy. That you could could be trusted with responsibility.

Then you would be the mistress of the other slaves.

But for that I must trust you. That you would never even think of acting against me. That you have no other loyalties than to me. That you think of what is best for me before you think what is best for yourself as the two should be the same.

> he looks at her face his eyes showing loneliness, shame and disappointment

Do you understand?

>Colt immediately wakes up with a gasp, clutching his chest, breathing hard and covered with cold sweat....and yet, he feels no pain, no agony.

>Outloud, he asks

"Am I dead yet?"

>He slowly pulls his duster off and and shifts his carapace armor to see if he got what he wanted, or got screwed over and is rotting like the rest he saw.

"Holy mother of---by the powers....it worked! This shit actually worked...i-i feel more alive...more, stronger!"

>With a thought in your mind, you use logic and reason so you don't get overexcited

>Colt, while laying down, pulls on his boot knife by the hilt, dragging it out of its inlaid sheath. He then raises his free hand above his face, to block out the sun in his eyes, and begins to cut into his palm

".......mmmm......mmhhh.....mmmhheeeehhh fuck..."

>Accessing the immediate results, he realises he isn't feeling as much pain as he usually does, and his blood doesn't flow as easily as it used to...

>He chuckles to himself a bit

"Well...aint that something?! I'll need to test this out later"

>Returning the knife back to its resting place, Colt attempts to look around for any signs of life...just to be sure he's not dead

(What exactly happened? Still confused on the results, so I don't wanna get ahead of my self in the description)

>You have been blessed by Papa Nurgle. You will no longer feel pain, no longer ache. You have become immune to disease and now possess a resilience to damage.

>In addition, while most who receive the plague father's gifts are horrifically disfigured, you have suffered no marring you your face or skin, and appear almost as normal. However, on the inside, you are just as rotted as the rest of them
