Have you ever remembered the last time you lived your usual human life before someone stepped in to force you on staring in a fictional series of animated shorts in an alternative dimension?

Everything seems fine on that fateful day, until...

>A Mob shows up saying that your boss isn't happy about poor your performance at work.

>A Ink-like devil appeared in the front door with a contract in his hands.

>Someone blacked you out cold, transporting you to a toon world as an anthropomorphic character without any memories of the incident.

Your choice may depend on voting and in five hours, you can make your character using the Toon RPG rules.

The resources are in here if you're a poor bastard: https://rpg.rem.uz/_Collections/Cartoon%20Games/Toon%20System/
>>
>>2720026
> about poor your performance
grammer, pls

I chose devil contract, it would at least get me something
I'm also a stickler for details and look for loopholes, although I wouldn't expect to be transported to another (toon) world
>>
>>2720066
>Sorry about my grammar errors.
>>
>>2720066
Also, Welcome to the quest, my friend.

Now onto the ongoing tale...

>>2720066
>>2720143
>>2720190

You look into the eyes of this suspicious, blob-like creature with only a mouth and rubber-hose-styled arms shaped of those of a demon.

As the devil walked closer to you, he puts the contract on a table while introducing himself like a street-by-street businessman in a Texas-like accent.

"Well, well, well. Look we have here, dear stranger. *chuckles* It seems like I have a poor soul ready to enter into cartoon stardom as I will be your eternal agent."

"What- W-why are you're here for?" You stutter in confusion albeit, a tad bit scared.

The devil glanced at you and grabbed your whole body to a chair, tying you with tar-like ropes from it's fluid body.

"I wanted you for simple deal, if you sign this contract right this second, your entire life will work for the boss." The devil said.

"Why? Will I become a slave?" You said as you look at the contract.

"You'll see..."

>Time to fill in your toon character sheets, take your time at your choices and make sure you read the Toon System rules first before proceeding.
>>
>>2720475
The character sheet is there if you want it.

>>
>>2722253
You may have to post a tldr quick start character creation guide for the lazy
>>
>>2722295
There's already a TL'DR guide on the rules, does that help? https://rpgmaker.net/articles/1414/
>>
Dead for the afternoon... Or is it?
>>
So after someone suggested me on qst discord, I've decided to hold a poll: Is it a good idea to take multiplayer quest like this on discord?

>Yes
>No

Vote ends in two hours.
>>
>>2722601
Yes
>>
>>2722601
You can also ask if there is interest for the Discord game on Reddit play by post
>>
I think i'm happy to say that the multiplayer quest has a discord! https://discord.gg/wUrXvNA
>>
>>2722295
>>2722326
I think he meant post it here for those that don't want to visit the site.
>>
>>2722992
Okay, here it is.

Hit Points: roll dice+1d6+6

Species: Either choose one or roll tens-and-ones

Possessions/Inventory: Write in the items you need, four must be normal and the remaining ones depends your choices.

Gizmos: You can also select a gizmo while making a character with a extra slot costing you 1 plot point, once you're satisfied with a gizmo of choice, you won't change anything for the rest of the session.

Skill: Spend 30 points for the following skills as listed here.

>Muscle/Stength

>Zip/Speed

>Smarts/Intelligence

>Chutzpah/Toughness

You can also spend points for Shtick abilities with a extra one costing five.

If you're rewarded with plot points throughout the session, level up your skills (2 PP) and shticks (4PP)

Note that if you used one extra ability, you won't use it again for the rest of the session like the inability to switch gizmos before.

This is the best that I can describe a TL'DR Guide of Char. Creation. I've apologize for missing some of the details if spotted one.
>>
>>2723118
(and the grammar error too.)
>>
>>2723118
I didn't see anything about gizmos in the rules. How do they work?
>>
>>2723189
From the official rule book:
"Cartoon characters often seem to have just the right gadget on hand to create maximum trouble or save the day.

A mouse sneaks up to a cat's tail and just happens to have the pencil sharpener that will give the cat a nasty surprise.

The rhinoceros dives from the helicopter and happens to have the tiny parachute that lets it float safely to the ground.

How do they do this? They're using gizmos.

These are all-purpose possessions that become whatever you want them to be at the time you use them - pencil sharpeners, parachutes, food, grenades, mice, encyclopedias, burning torches, pies, or anything you want.
You can take one gizmo as one 9f your ''unusual'' possessions at the start of an adventure.

You can "buy" additional gizmoes for one Plot Point each, up to the usual limit of four "unusual" possessions. You can't get gizmoes any other way -for example, you can't pull a gizmo out of a Bag of Many Things. You have to get them at the start of an adventure.

Then during the adventure, you specify what you want a gizmo to be, and that's what it is - just as if you'd selected that object as a possession at the start of your adventure. But your gizmo is "stuck" as that object for the rest of the adventure.

Like most everything in Toon, gizmoes can backfire. When you specify what it is and try to use it, the Animator will roll a die. On a 1 or 2, your gizmo has turned out to be shoddy goods - and it will cause you the worst possible trouble in your situation!"

>>2722200
+1. First build.
>>
G'morning, my peoples. Hopefully today (or not), at least I would expect for another player to enter so we could proceed the story.
>>
>>2720026
Bumping the tread to wake the sleepyheads up.
>>
Bumping it again... In hopes of getting the thread going before I proceed to open a new thread for the quest.
>>
Okay, since nobody responded, I think it is time to mark part 1 as the intro of what's to come. Look out for part 2 coming either shortly or soon.
>>
Part two is now open! >>2724478
>>
>>2723806
>>2721298
Technically there was 3. Bio left in the middle.
