Another session of Caster Quest begins today! Everyone's favorite underage, teenage, necromancer quest!
Last episode we really got ourselves in and out of some pickles- bug flavored, demon shaped, pickles as Catherine seems to have found a mate to breed with her and produce a whole swarm of insectoid-themed Demons that swarm the GothWood/RotWood. These nefarious nedroids have been terrorizing the woodland inhabitants of the haunted forest and you made it your business of helping, healing, and getting into the good favor of their various tribes peoples.
While you were in there, though, you discovered something of singular importance: an old Gnomish Town (perhaps the capital of this province some time ago) situated on a golden, gleaming, mana spring- a Ley Line as they're called by academics and a potential invaluable resource to you AND Catherine if she finds it..

Your information is here:

Our adventures though have taken us back home to the pleasant meadows of Honey Hill and our well off farm estate in Potter's Field- Eldin's Grove a sentry over your territory....
Well it wasn't a GOOD sentry as the tree has failed to warn you of all these.. these.. Changelings, these DOPPLERS: moving into the ruins, not paying taxes, wanting to FARM and have LIVELIHOODS. The nerve of some people.

Let's get these squatters turned into residents.

Have Eloy and Avarice help us gather them together and set up rules and a light tax of food and resources of whatever they'll be producing here.

Start the Golems/Undead working with the Changelings to fix up the village for some proper homes and future businesses

Wondering if we should get Lady Cheval or the Emir of En to help with establishing our little village

We have a fuck ton of raw dug up material. Do you think we need a furnace for the Goblins?

>>2708709
Spaghetti do we need a furnace?

>Wondering if we should get Lady Cheval or the Emir of En to help with establishing our little village
I think we should go to Emir of En for advice. Since he himself is a changeling, and our citizens are changelings.
>>
>>2708729
Damn, yeah we're still lacking a proper furnace or kiln for brickmaking

and yeah, asking the Emir for advice would probably be useful since they're building up Hemlock Village again and that could strengthen our friendship/gain aid from the Changeling villages

Despite our childish racism of them lol
>>
>>2708729
>Spaghetti do we need a furnace?

The closest thing we have is two large ovens in the kitchen: one rather large one for baking, one (with several stop tops) for cookery stuff.
>>
>>2708737
We still have yet to provide raw assistance in the rebuilding of Hemlock though. Should we help? How should we? Would they want the help? The big questions.
Think they would like some scarecrows?

>>2708746
Ok. We need to visit or send someone with money to guy buy us some furnaces, kilns and brickmakings. Preferably Avarice, a gobby, or someone smarter than us. Maybe we can Send DM with some Gnolls to negotiate those?

We could provide Golems (Ice and bone) for manual labor and give them some scarecrows too
>>
>>2708772
Ice Bonemeal golems (unlessed wrapped heavily in enchanted cloth) might give off the wrong message and might freak out new immigrants, travelers, and the citizens of En/Hemlock themselves. There is also the issue of leaking Miasma making everything one nervous and killing any plants within close proximity. Do you remember if Ice Bonemeal golems we more resistant to melting compared to their pure Ice Elemental counterparts?
We you referring to the Bone skeletons and Ice golems as separetly, or the Ice Bonemeal golems?

I was going to suggest the Mud Compost golems as they're less scary looking, like the one we make for the Bee Women, but I'm not sure if it would listen to us or the Changeling Towns folks.

Scarecrows are definitely the safest bet. Down side is they make poor fighters (unless we modify the shit out of their design).
>>
>>2708722
>Let's get these squatters turned into residents.
>Roll 19- Near perfect cooperation and residency.

You've got a lot of people to manage here and only the deed to these ruins to command any real authority: the good news is that seems to be enough for these people (something you find a little frankly bizarre since it isn't inherently magical.. It's.. just a piece of paper with a stamp.)

The sun is out so Eloy can't really be of much help, but you get Annie, The Twins, and put some fucking clothes on Avarice before you let him out and a meeting of the minds takes place. You decide the following:
-10% tax rate on all agricultural goods, 5% tax rate on any business or commercial shenanigans.
-In exchange, though, you're obligated to protect these people from the various dangers of the world. Construction will be aided by Snow Golems in shifts whom the normies don't find too offensive.
-The Dungeon is at the moment off limits.

>170/175 decide to stay. 100% of them are Changelings.

>>2708756
>Enslave the changelings and use them for cheap labor like garden maintenance.
>roll 4- Naw, also no character precedence.

While this is -your- land and Changelings are often characterized as thieves, gyspies, and migrants not to be trusted.. You think for the time being with no blatant racial tension that they should be fine: they're 'all' Dopplers, so you hope they won't have cause for racism or public decent.
Plus, Changelings just make poor slaves. This is what the Goblins are for.

>>2708729
>I think we should go to Emir of En for advice.

You think about who could make help you with all these no-good immigrants: En of Emir seems like the obvious choice since he's the same species, Cheval might be able to help- but you have a feeling her advice would be more... "Royal".
Archie may be of assistance, but he's a Homunculi and they're like Ants, so it'd be socially ignorant advice. Same with Bee Mom.

I don't follow. How does attempting to enslave or change the changeling's genders repress the evil side? There is no even anymore. Only progress.
>>
>>2708824
>Who were the other 5 that left?

Five of the Changelings left simply on the basis that they didn't want to pay even the smallest amount of tax on anything. You're not really offended, you completely understand the sentiment: you move out to the middle of nowhere and even here there's some random guy asking for taxes.

>>2708824
>Then square off how they're gonna rebuild Hemlock, what materials will be used, when, how long they expect it to take.
>Roll 16- Good, high end good.

With the mud, clay, stone, and dried straw already around the Potter's Field ruins from your Dungeon expanding and digging itself out there's already an excess of fresh resources ripe for the taking and building. It isn't like people were asking or demanding your assistance, they're perfectly capable of patting down some mud, baking bricks, and refurbishing the frames and buildings already collecting dust.
Overall it'll take maybe a Month to see everyone in homes- seeding and planting their fields will take longer.

-You do, though, briefly pay a visit to En. Emir though doesn't know who those Changelings are, but he does say, "Word has been coming from out of Copse that they dead are staying Dead now and you must know how Changelings are: always looking for vacant land." It's true, they are natural squatters. You keep that to yourself though- Emir's a good man.

>>2708828
>Purchase a proper kiln and furnace, either from the Homunculus or Pug
>Roll 8- Bad, but you've got friends.

Moe is happy to oblige and a few women show up later in the week in a cart with bricks and tools.
>A Smith is being added to your tiny village. You're not a lord, so you just have to 'eyeball' your growing town.
When asked about who might be able to operate the smith a few Changelings raise their hands- nothing obviously dramatic or supernatural, but they'll be able to pound out posts, nails, horseshoes, maintain armor and weapons.
"I know how to smith." Avarice idly admits one evening. "I mean, I'm not on the level of a Cyclopes or a Dwarf.. Or even a Gnome, but I'm sure as shit better than an Orc." He's more of a Goldsmith or Jeweler which comes at no shock.

>>2708877
>Abuse your position as town ruler and pass a law declaring you are the husband of all the changeling women.

You say this as someone who's put their cock in the living dead: Changeling Women are kind of unattractive.
Their eyes are weird, their skin is clammy and doesn't feel right, and their blood is black so their veins and genitals have this unsettling black almost ichorus tinge to them you find really unsettling.
The thought crosses your mind, sure, but today it's a no. They just don't appeal to you- your perversion can only go so far.
I mean, it could be worse: they could be Orcs... or Dwarves.

It is unironically fine that someone suggests the bad/evil thing to do. It doesn't mean I'm gonna 100% do them, but Caster is mortal and flawed after all.

>>
>>2708964
A fence isn't that great of a deterent.

Now if we make more Scarecrows armed with wheat scythes and crop sickles, then we're redirect talking.

MAGIC BONE POWERED CHAINSAWS! Really small (ice)bone golems whose only purpose is to spin really fast when commanded.
>>
>>2708971
Yeah but fences don't take up space in our limited undead control slots. They also don't threaten even our hardy crops with a miasma overload. Pretty sure even pumpkins can only handle so much before succumbing.
>>
>>2708976
Scarecrows aren't undead. They're golems. Golems don't take up slots. The Scarecrows were made as an alternative to undead farm workers. Right?
>>
>>2708982
I've honestly never paid much attention to the mechanics, but golems not taking up slots seems wrong. I thought we made that huge ice tank and it took ten slots.
>>
>>2708986
The icebone golem shaped like an elephant became haunted by a Mammoth spirit creating the Mammoth Wraiths.

Technically I see it as us dominating the Wraith that is possessing the "golem"
>>
>>2708986
You're thinking of something else.
Golems, unlike zombies which take up slots, are stupid. They can only take basic commands. Hence why only one slot.
The Ice Bonemeal golems are an amalgamation of undead and ice elementals. They can be swapped between finer control (take up a slot and they smurt) or act as golems (no slots but dumbo)
You're confusing the ten slots with the giant 18ft gnolls and the ice Bonemeal mammoth.

>Roll 90- is far better than your previous 60.

Things have calmed down: the people are busy working, toiling, doing peasantry towny things... Which means you have time to EXPERIMENT. Specifically, you've got a handful of Green Mana Shards and you'd like to find out what would happen if you polished them and placed them in the eye sockets of a skeleton.

Good news and bad news.
-The Bad news is the Skeleton doesn't reanimate so much as it begins growing and sprouting irritable and toxic fungal growth that spreads out from it's eye sockets and blankets the entire skeleton giving it a very skinny, horrifying, body that does animates and proceeds to drag itself around spreading toxic spores everywhere.
-The Good news is you manage to kill it, nobody gets sick, and Avarice helps you sanitize the labratory and the basement of it's corrupting spores.
That was also genuinely quite interesting.

>>2709010
>>2708951
>Build a big fence around your property so those evolutionary rejects can't offend you with their presence.
>Roll 1.

A day later or so you figure you need to keep up appearance and what better way than to build a racially segregated fence around your property to keep the normies out.
The fence you build is so unequivocally shit that you stop before anybody sees you were responsible for such a mess and run home to go hide. The fence doesn't get finished and whenever somebody asks about it you feign ignorance- eventually it's just removed by the staff after a week.

>>2709012
>Plan out a large and especially intelligent Ice golem, using a large dark crystal carved into a crystal skull and annointed with our blood.
>Roll 24- Not good, but not horrible.

Looking at your Ice Golems: they're big dummies, but you figure you could make their intelligence more serviceable if you could perhaps do the following:
-Carve out a Crystal Skull of bonemeal, blood, all frozen together.
-Place Dark Mana Shards in it's eyes, and one large one inside it's skull case and several across the chest, arms, and legs.
It'd cost a lot of resources and you wonder if it would be perhaps 'too' smart, but it'd definitely by dangerous and >interesting.

>Surveillance Skulls.
>Roll 64, 18- Good, bad, but you've already got everything you need.

Haunted Skulls can be used for surveillance. ( https://pastebin.com/3W9U0fbG )
You didn't know this because you don't really use them that often, but you pricked your thumb on a pen quill one night and got a little bit of your blood on one of the many skulls you have littering your study... And... Quickly found out that you could 'vaguely' see through it's eyes. You can't hear, smell, or talk through it though.
Haunted Skulls are just skulls puppeteered by a Wisp, so they 'can' sort of remain outside during the day (hidden inside the skull). Seems if the blood washes off or gets flaked off it doesn't work anymore though.

>>2709124
>Gather resources for that smart ice golem.
>Roll 48- Low Average, Technically a 20 roll, but I'll give it to you.

You're going to need Shards and a skull. Big shards, big skull, so you're going into the Snow Cavern to look for resources.
While there's lots of Miasmatic Shards naturally occurring in the crystalline icey caverns.. It takes you some time to find a large enough one that's suitable and even then you need to bring it back completely covered so it does melt or shatter when exposed to light. Avarice gets to work cutting and polishing it to make it more effective- jagged, rough, Mana Shards have a tendency to do whatever they want.

The skull, though, is the hard part. Big skull, you need a big skull for a big brain... A Troll skull might do or an Elephant: you have Trolls in this dungeon, but none of them are big enough and there are sadly no (living) Elephants in your Dungeon- yet.

>>2709102
>>2709082
>Experiment with Dungeon soil, mana, doo-hickery n' screaming.
>Roll 12- Above Average, also technically a d100, but I'll average it out.

While you're down here... You'd like to know how some of that Mana and the Soil samples you took take to your Frosty Dungeon. You mix up a little batch (you've only got so much, so you're very frugal with it) and start spreading it around in different places.
-The samples dramatically encourage wild, vivid, beautiful ice crystalline growth. The mana doesn't burn or 'cleanse' the environment: it feeds and enables it's already thematic identity.
-The Trees at the lowest level particularly enjoy it: growing, thickening, twisting, some even flowering and growing fruit.
-A lot of it is eaten by Fairies.. They're willing to sift and dig through the mud to get at the golden, sweet, mana those little jerks. They remind you of humming birds or how you sometimes see Butterflies crowd around a clay lick after it rains... Except, you know: they're naked little 7 inch boys n' girls with bug wings.

So you throw them all together rather haphazardly, well, less so than before (you do it in the basement): shards are added to their eyes, added to their chests, you even replace some of their teeth with shards- Avarice thinks it's a bad idea, but he thinks making polished crystal teeth is fun.
While this new Wicker Man is far more unsettling, more violent, and more powerful than the last one- you're also significantly more powerful than you once were and at the very least pass your fear checks.

It still, though, simply can't be control. You're not sure why. You lock yourself in the room, stuff your robe in the door's gaps and gas the whole chamber by exhaling a particularly pungent, horrible, paint-peeling, Death Coil that melts the horrid, shrieking, creation before it can escape and run rampant.

Speaking of repugnant, rampant, horrors.

>Contact Lady Cheval and Archie, discuss the battleplans against Catherine.
>Roll 12- Good, above average.

Annie runs you a nice bath and washes your robes: the encounter leaves you coated in a thin smear of grease that needs to be washed off.
Once you're done done with that and all cozy, snug, dressed in your casual wear.. You Seance your allies to see if there's any new developments with the Catherine front.

-Mimas is on the other line this time, seems they don't need to screen their calls as much as they used to. Mimas quickly catches you up to speed: he's been reanimating the various bodies (goblin, troll, hogoblin, orcs, changelings) he's been having his peons dig up out of Tollund Bog. This wasn't originally the plan, but Catherine's spawn required.. "A change in plan, no? Don't even ask me about the first attack- a complete bust. What a waste, and no doubt her children grew fat from all of my skewered pigs."
You didn't know Mimas knew Necromancy. That's neat.

-Archie responds to your Seance in a rather terse and blunt fashion, "He has a Warlock. Catherine isn't an Omnibus, so he can't asexually reproduce. The only plausible explanation is he's either recently kidnapped a mortal to aid in the recent events or he's been grooming one for a while and we're suffering poor timing." He goes on to admit the groomed option may be more likely given Catherine's previous efforts to expunge and exterminate every Warlock within the province- as why would she purposefully keep any Caster that could dominate or even worse- banish her.

>Roll 18/20

While you're at it you sort through your things and grab a lock of the Occultists black hair before giving them a telepathic ring up.
Her internal monologue is incredibly difficult to keep track of- she's a very compulsive, spastic, Human being.

"Hello! Hello! Yes, yes! Me? I'm fine! I'm finally back in the province: I went out over to Lake Scholomance for souvenirs- I couldn't get into Cannakill or Cockaigne like I wanted to, border security was too thick. Problems with fey they said! Too many fey migrants!"

She carries on like this, but basically lets you know she'll be heading over soon to pay with a visit: with a fully stocked inventory from the heart of the haunted lands.. Well, close to the heart.. The throat of the haunted lands.

I want to Give the Coat of a Wicker Man one more shot, but more carefully. This time we will be making use of the elemental shackles to keep it subdued. First we'll drop control of the wraith mammoth to let it seed as it pleases, drop the Rot Hide Gnoll Count to 2, and make more Control Mage skulls. Like one or two more. Then we'll try this again but with the Shackles on it's wrists. At that point it's only a matter of wrestling it into submission until it submits.

>Figure out what the Twins can and cannot do- magic wise.
>Roll 95- Meeting you in the middle in terms of most constructive since this is a really good roll.

It's been maybe a month or so- "It has been 46 days, Father" - since the Twins intelligence has kind of leveled out and peeked. That isn't to say they won't become 'more' intelligence, it just means their brains have successfully reconnected and contextualized their bodies muscle memory, so they're back to pre-death int scores.
Time to see how magic they are.
-F1 and F2 both have a strong affinity for Shadow(Pit) and Spirit Necromancy; it's a shame you know so little because they take to it quite well. They're serviceable at Rot and completely oblivious to Frost.
-Each of them has a maximum Undead Control of 15 Undead, so combined it's 30.
-This is also just a personal observation, but the way they cast is very sharp, impersonal, and 'clean'. A wrist flick or a snap of the fingers. You have a tendency to really exaggerate your movements and throw your body into the motion- wasteful, but very beautiful and powerful motions.

This next experiment isn't maybe as Interesting as the last one, but it does at least answer some questions.
Digging up a Frosty Mana Shard- you polish it, clean it up, then engemmen a skeleton with it to see what'll happen.
The body rattles, fumes, and an ethereal cold mist starts billowin- Okay now it's screaming. It's a Wraith. It's an Ice Wraith. You make sure you veil is on snug and slap the shards out of the skeleton- a very small handkerchief sized scrap of Ectoplasm falls to the ground. Neat.

>Frost enchant a weapon, maybe one made with Frost Brand just to see if it works.

Though, in fairness: before you froze your hands and feet (don't ask) you were pretty sure that stacking Frost Enchantments may very well be the key to making permanent Frosty Items.. They're just so cold! You're just going to need more practice. While Annie, Avarice, and Chemmy fix your hands and feet- you think you could be doing a bit more with Frost...

>Roll 31- Bad, but not horrible.

The Ray of Infirmity is a pretty interesting spell, fun too: it allows you to blast this sweeping gaze of negative-energy that withers away whatever you focus your sight on into infirmity.. But for the sake of research you're going at a quarter strength. Which is good because this spell is powerful and you have very little control over it: you kill some grass on the lawn, you accidentally blast Avarice (who has to go lay down and suck on some change), and even look at your own hands- which luckily doesn't effect you.
To change the nature of the spell though.. You'd have to better understand Scholomance's School of Necromancy.

About mid way through the week once they've had their few personal effects packed Mimas shows up in a carriage under cover of darkness, clouds, accompanied by skeletal horses and a few servants- both puppetted and actual Undead. You could have just flown them there, sure, but the Chevals like showing off.

It's just a mixture of her having a lot of junk you don't entirely recognize as valuable or necessarily need and you maybe not wording everything as best as you could because Occultist is kind of in that mid 30's single-childless kind of age bracket that you're really interested, she's quite frankly stacked, and is the same species as you.
So, yeah, issues.
You ask for a unique last piece of her robe, ask something to make your 'staff' badass, you ask her if she's got any "unique creature parts", maybe a large bone.
She's thankfully too socially oblivious though, so all of these slips of the dick seem to be flying over her head- you're getting progressively nervous though and socially awkward (such is what happens after concencutive failed charm rolls) as you spill more and more knuckle bones.

"Oh, do you just want to fuck? We can fuck, that's fine. Are you a virgin? Have you had sex with a Woman before? A Human Woman? Boys don't count! It's okay if you haven't- " I mean, you're not gonna say no but what about protectio- "Brand of sexual protection." What's that now?
She slips out of her robe, everything on her fat, heavy, pale and heaving comes swaying and bouncing right out and turning and pointing her black nails down to the space below her navel she shows you off an almost out-of-character womb-tramp stamp, "Brand of sexual protection. Got it tattooed on by a Nymph when I was 19 and a.. Very different person! Protects against disease and parasites, aka: babies, but only venereal ones, so it was cheap!"

Oh, well, - She slides her panties off her fat, bubbly, ass and flicks them at your head. "The time for talking is over!" Her pussy is not sideways. This will be your only small relief.

"Oh! That is much larger than I thought it would be!"
What follows is quite possibly the most depraved, illicit, drawn out, graphic, 2 and a half hours of sex you've ever had. You couldn't have anticipated receiving such an offensive act of pleasure from someone of your own species, but there ya go.
"You told me you weren't a Virgin!" She seems pretty satisfied though, "Next time I'll bring fairies."

I got an idea for ice cream. We use dryad milk and native fruits to the rot forest. We'll advertise it as, "Sinfully delicious."
>>
You've got a big week ahead of you, so make sure to pack everything you need- You're surprised, though, when Gardener punctually shows up at your manor quite early and at a reasonable hour. Annie serves him some breakfast while he waits for you.

>>2709790
>Research a way to make a fungus skeleton that isn't awful and can actually be kept around.
>Roll 86- Pretty good. Rolling with advantage.

Gardener compliments you on the cute little black bow you're still wearing, "You didn't have to get all dressed up for little ol' me, but I love it."
You take the compliment, mostly because you want his help understand the Mushroom Skeleton you made like a week ago or so. "Oh, yeah, I can make one of those. Fungi can be used to reanimate corpses, sure, but the fungi that grows on them is extremely virulent and aggressive."
His red leering eyes center on a corner of the basement, he points his parasol at it and a white spot of mold withers away. "They can't really be controlled, darling. They're used for biological warfare. You direct them at a problem and forget about them."
Hmn.

>>2709796
>Examine the effects the trees are having on the mass graves, inspect the trees themself, chat up the local carrion birds
>Roll 12- Good, above average.

Heading out into the field on cloud back you have a go at inspecting the various trees and the growth. Gardener is dutiful and insightful in his comments; when you set down he explains everything and leaves nothing unexplained. "GothWood is extremely hardy and Miasmatic hungry, see how it's leaves aren't green and the bark black? It's absorbing and re-using all the miasma from this haunted hill." He hands you a shovel and tasks you to give a small hole so he can show you how the tree's roots have consumed the corpses here. Bad for you, but interesting.

>>2709819
>ask crows if we can revive the shrike
>Roll 9- below average, but not 'bad'.

Having a small picnic and despite Gardener's protests you feed a magpie or two and ask them if anything can be done about the Shrike.
"Well, Catherine done gobbled up his body, so he's outta the game 'till he gets enough ah' that bird meat.. Not that any of us are gonna volunteer, eh? Ha-CAW CAW "
"Stop playing with that filthy bird and eat- " Gardener shoos the magpie away and hands you a lovely smoked bacon sandwich.

>Be gay with the Gardener
>roll 3, 6- Awkward 3's.

Attempts are made, but he still seems irritated you laid into his GraveRobber.
He allows you to hold his hand between traveling from site to site and there's several kisses on the cheek exchanged, but the homosexuality is kept to alarmingly low levels.

>See if the goth dryads use this tree for travel much so we can use it as a line of communication and possibly travel with out having to physically cross the border of the woods.
>Roll 18- Good, very good.

This question takes a couple days to prove- enough that if Gardener weren't around you'd have gotten discouraged and just wandered off, but he assures you, "Any Dryad that can even do a little bit of magic knows wood walk. They can pass through, hear through, and even see outside of a tree, but the probl- are you listening?" He pokes you with his parasol, Gardener insist this be done late at night.
"The problem is the roots all need to be connected- oh, here we go."

The same Dryad you met long ago pops out of the tree, "Hello?" Gardener is satisfied, "We just needed you to pop out and say hi, that's all dear." The Dryad seems annoyed, but you stop her since you have questions.

>>2709797
>Grab some of the Shrikes Feathers if we can help it
>Roll 16- Good enough, but just barely.

You ask her if there's any Shrike Feathers- even just one.
"Oh, sure! Yeah, hold on." She then dives back into the wood as if it were a pool of water- ripples folding back into the notches of wood.
Maybe 20 minutes later she pops back out with a feather.
>New Quest Item
>Shrike Feather, "This shadow in the shape of a greasy feather is small and sickly looking. The feather is delicate- flaking off a constant black dander and leaving behind a moth-like smear of black powder on your fingers."

>Seduce him
>Roll 15- You needed at least a 15, so good job.

The week stretches on, but around the 6th evening of your joint research trip/date Gardener seems to finally soften up to you and forgive you. It's all rather abrupt really or maybe you're just oblivious to his subtle nuances.
It was just a little before dusk- you digging, Gardener watching you do all the digging, when he softly interrupts, "Yes, alright. Come along. We'll do it."
He then ties up his hair, loosens a few straps and garters, and hands you several metal rings he expects you to wear around the girth of your genitals. Hands on the GothTree, Legs spread out wide, you.. You lift up his fancy gothic gown- Wait, won't the Dryads be able to see you from this angle? "I want them to see."
Not the weirdest rut you've done, but you won't turn down a romp in the great outdoors.

>>2710000
>Invite Gardener to visit our crystal forest sometime, don't think he's ever been
>Roll 18- Good, great even.

Two Dark Rings and about an hour of travel time (Gardener naps through it, he has literally no stamina. It's kind of cute.) You're briefly back home: you want Gardener to have a look at your Crystal Forest to see if he has an opinion on the matter.
Bundled up and heading down: his typical unimpressed visage is erased by genuine wonder and childish amazement- he can't help but poke around, take samples of, and inspect every little crystalline plant, icy nook, and frozen cranny. "You must be getting a lot of action if you're taking all your dates here. No wonder you reek." He's still got energy to be snide. Not so cute.
Gardener isn't satisfied until he has one of every NUTT and berry, but when IS happy: he thanks you for a wonderful time, gives you a little peck on the cheek, and clouds off.
You yell at him, asking where he learned that spell, "Stole it from you, darling~!" PLAGIARISMS.

>>2709974
>Let's bring this bad boy back to the Commune #9 after this field trip and ask Philosopher stone if she can clone the Shrike, more of these feathers, or a ton of crow meat.
>Roll 19- Near perfect.

This happens a few days after, but you bring that feather -sealed in a small glass vile provided by Gardener- to the commune to see if Archie or his Philosopher's stone can clone it.
"This isn't organic material." Archie tells you after studying a few moments, "It has no mundane DNA to replicate, this is some sort of supernatural tissue. See, it's funny, but physical genetic material is often easier to replicate from very small sam-" Moe interrupts, "It's a shadow. It's got no meat. We could probably clone you, like, a dozen or so Crows, but if you want the Shrike back I doubt it'll be as convenient as that.."
Moe eyes you up and down with his terrible, gorgeous, dazzling blue eyes, you.. awkwardly meet his gaze, "There's probably some sort of ritual or.. spell.." There's no way he doesn't know what you've been up to- he's just too BLONDE and HANDSOME not to.

>Is changeling blood the key ingredient to sunlight resistance?

Blood just in general is a super useful Necromancer and Alchemical ingredient.

>Are ice Bonemeal golems resistant to sunlight?

Naw. The little bit of undead-ness makes them melt faster than if they were just made out of pure ice.

I mean, if you wanted to you could be trading with the forest hillbillies all sorts of stuff.
You got that tree growing there... Technically one day soon you might have hillbillies living in your Dungeon.

>Is it possible to over feed a fairy some of the super soil?

That would kill the fairy, Anon.
We don't want to be "that kid" who killed a fairy. There's always at least one in the village and all the other kids stop hanging out with him because he's a weirdo who does things to fairies.
We can't be that weirdo- our charm state would take a penalty.

According to my autistic world building paperwork Changelings have a 10% Caster Rate.

>how do demons "make" meat and blood?

All paranormal creatures have access to simple cantrips, spells, and other supernatural abilities. (Mechanically speaking: they get these to make up for their very restrictive class options. )

Demons have the Warlock cantrip: summon blood/milk and meat... Which does what it says it does and lets um' summon meat, milk, or blood.. From Hell and if it doesn't get eaten in 24 hours it gets sent back to Hell.

>What are the current thought of our employees? The Hobgoblins, goblins, the flesh golems, the dungeon builder.

-The HobGoblins really like you: they were slaves and you've been very kind and fair to them. This has been a dream gig for them and they're not in any rush to leave. They sometimes think about asking you to take on more of their 'mule' people, but they wouldn't dare impose such a selfish request on you.

-The Goblins are thinking of leaving. No disrespect, they just like Chemmy more than they like you and kind of want to go off and build a mound with him. Chemmy has actually grown very powerful in your care.

-Annie is well taken care of, but she misses the company of her own kind and the dreary environment of a nice haunted wood.

-Eloy has.. Softened up to you. He has a genuine professional respect for you, your skills and now understand and tolerates serving a teenage Human... But this is still only a temp job for him: save money, get experienced, head back to Goliard while their Dungeon Boom is still booming.

Right now though you've other business on your mind: you've been studying the new GothTrees growing in the mass graves with your associate Gardener- he's been teaching you a thing or two about horticulture n' so forth and has been a big help in his own way.... But he has also been copying your spells off of your spell book without your permission, so he's 'that guy'- you know the one.
It's not 'that' big of a deal though and your week of researching the GothTrees was constructive and educational. You're at Commune #9 either way though: hanging out, having a little bit of dinner with the Homunculi in the public mess hall- there's a few more outside races here than you're used to, but everyone is largely keeping to their species... Well, except for you. You're sitting between several Homunculi and having pleasant idle chit chat.

Life is on a strict schedule here on the Commune, you sometimes forget that: The Homunculi finish their meals within mere moments of one another and soon there's a line of them putting away their dishes n' so forth in the exact same order they order their food. It really is something, but it also means you're left alone with the.... Non-Constructs
...You're gonna go ask for rumors!
-The Gnome's table tells you the place used to be a Changeling farming village. "More squatters and vagabonds mooching off of Gnomish scraps, but they were decent folk. We don't know what happened. The place is infested with Pumpkins and other plants, so it's a lovely rest spot."
-The Dwarf table is practically cloaked in cigar smoke, "It's just another failed settlement of no significance: no mineral deposits, no dungeon, no oil, no point."
-The Orc's table is a complete mess and they have no intention of cleaning it, "The grasslands between Denmire and Sholt is pristine and perfect pasture land *snort* but it's too out in the open. Feckin' shame it is. *grunt* "

I plan on cultivating a number of species to take back with me and introduce to the elemental plane of machine. It's a completely sterile environment, so it should be an interesting terraforming project."
Archie demonstrates that the GothTree is a magical tree- like the one in the Commune's square garden and the ones growing in your Dungeon.
"Wood's magical uses don't just begin and end with staves, trees themselves are powerful natural agents and enablers of magic even when alive."
He demonstrates this a little by submersing a small bark sample in pure mana- the bark turns to an almost porcelain white hue similar to the golden tree outside. Neat.

>Roll 18- Needed at least a 17, so good on yeah.

You and Archie try a lot of things to no avail, but eventually you make a breakthrough when you accidentally drop the feather on the floor and it touches your shadow. The feather 'absorbs' the darkness out of your shadow and leaves you emotionally and physically drained- Archie has to administer you a potion and a 30 minute nap.
But when you look at the Feather again it's got a little cube of pale, veiny, looking flesh attached to it and several small feathers. Further tests conclude that the tissue sample grows only in contact with the shadows of other living entities- plants included, but at diminished returns. Archie's shadow is ignored, "Well that's just offensive. I'm 'moderately' organic."

You have to laugh since you're used to Demons telling you they never ever want to go back home.

Trolls are especially sensitive to light -ESPECIALLY- Undead ones, so under the cover of darkness you dig up that Trolls nearly.. What has it been? Quarter? Half a Year? You're almost 17, jeez. Anyway, you dig it up, this 18ft freak of nature and proceed reanimate it in it's own grave: drawing a ritual circle in the lawn, stuffing it with herbs, and exhuming it with Miasma.
The body slowly drags itself out of the hole- stumbling and teetering onto it's fat feet as it groans, drips, and dead troll fur flakes off of it in small bunches.

Avarice gets dressed and escorts you to the Smithy in town, "The forge the Homunculi set up with is pretty high quality- The towns folk and the goblins have been pitching in with recycling scrap, ore, and whatevers available, so we can fashion some crude armor for your freakish Troll if you wish, Boss."
>The Troll now has armor: bent and curved metal sheets, pots, shields tied together, layered over leather and some wood here and there- all protecting it's knees, joints, wrists, heart, and the neck. You prioritize it's connecting points and joints.
>A very mild Frost Enchantment is then place on this.

>>2711860
>Make another ice wraith, but actually keep this one around as part of your horde.
>Roll 17- Luckkyyyy!! Though, technically a d100, but I'll give it to you.

While Avarice oversees the goblins and villagers work in the smithy; you fill out a little more of your roster since you've free'd up some space with the release of that Haunted Mammoth. Some Ice Wraiths would be nice, so you lay out some skeletons in the Dungeon and see what you can manage to get spookin'.
>Out of the several Skeletons you plant only 3 spawn Wraiths.
>3 x 2 = 6
>34/40 Controlled Undead.
The Wraiths are a little more finicky just because of them lacking a tangible body, but they make up for it in terms of how much fun they are: they can move through walls and anything they touch gets a little frosty coating.

>>2711908
>One to act as our dedicated liaison, overseer and/or tax collector for our town.
>Roll 79- Well above average.

With all this going on, you'd like to retain your momentum, so the last thing you take care of is drawing up the plans and maybe sorting through and seancing your available materials for a nice, dependable, Mayor Golem who'll be able to lead and manage your town and the various normies that may or may not inhabitant it.
This is just you crunching the numbers (Eloy helps), but you have enough "materials" to problem make.. 30 'Perfect' Flesh Golems... Or 60 Average.. Or 90 just absolute shit.
Annie speaks up for once and strongly advises Quality over Quantity, "Flesh Golems made incorrectly will want to fix themselves.. This can cause problems and unhappiness."

>Research and Develop Daylight Ichor.
>Roll 81- Good, very good. Rolling with advantage.

The memories of your past self are a little fuzzy; they melded quite seamlessly with your own pschye, so it's difficult to pinpoint what was real since so much of it feels like a dream. Though, with Chemmies expansive alchemical knowledge (he really has learned quite a lot) you remember the recipie:
https://pastebin.com/pXTrGXVK (Crafting List)
>+New Potion+
>Daylight Ichor: "By replacing all the blood in a Zombie's body with this thick, viscious, black fluid you can make immunize it against the sun. Daylight Ichor is made out of Sunflower Seed oil, Changeling blood, and Black Mold. This potion can be ingested by intelligent undead to ward against the sun, but replacing their 'blood' with it would kill them."
You're going to need a lot of Changeling Blood. You vaguely remember your evil self having killed and drained drifters and gypsies to get his.

>>2711998
>If golems don't count towards the cap, get crackin on those 30 perfects.
>Roll 95- Dependable 5 and a NEAR PERFECT ROLL.

All those potions take time to brew and test, so in the mean time you prepare and sort the various parts you'll need to make all these handsome n' strapping Flesh Golem Citizens.
-You're doing a 40/60 split, not by choice, but you've just got more male parts than female parts... Some of them'll be pretty good lookin' guys though since Homunculi bones.
-All the brains need to be seanced. This is your least favorite part, but it's the most important: some are too old, some are evil, some are good at magic, some aren't, some are just fuckin' dumb, etc..
-The third step is just grunt work: drain fluids, rub herbs, sew, Dark ring, repeat. They need to be 'dry' and seamless or their blood boils and they 'pop'.

The 30 Flesh Golems have been prepped: they look pretty good, but you're exhausted and the process takes nearly 4 days. It's exhausted much of your resources, but Annie looks over all of them and her typically conservative face begins to light up a bit, "All these new friends just look wonderful! Thank you, sir."

Recovering from all that lab work you Seance Mimas to talk strategy. You ask him what he thinks of sending you Bog-Bodies n' various other bodies to animate or craft into horrors to send towards Catherines forces. Like a monster of the week deal.
"My friend, that would be an immense help. I had been thinking of that, but did not wish to impose on someone so young who has already done so much already. I've been raising Skeletons and Zombies myself, but I'd imagine they pale in comparison to a true Necromancer's finely tuned work."

Talk with Chemmy about him leading the Goblins to create a burrow or den in the Dungeon so they can be somewhat on their own while still close enough to us where he can help us out as our assistant still and they can work "jobs" if they can be trained well enough

The hobgoblins would be simple enough to ask Lady Cheval to send us more hobgoblins or purchase them from Pug.

You call a staff meeting, specifically: you want to talk to all the Goblins and the Hobgoblins.
You'd like their opinion on how they would be about.. Being 'let go' more or less. You think it's time you took the steps to phasing them out as a cheap work force.
The Goblins Agree. Chemmy Agrees.
-Chemmy loves you a "whole fuckin' bunch": but he'd like to take his boys, hunt down some females, and start his own Den. He isn't opposed to moving into the Dungeon.
-The Hobgoblins respect you quite a lot: this has been the easiest gigs of their lives, they don't feel like 'slaves', and you've been very kind. They'd like to see more of their kind, but understand you have to keep up appearances.
>The Gobs and the Hobs have been talked to. Whatever decision you ultimately make: release the Gobs, get more Hobs, they won't be offended.

With all 31 Flesh Golems prepped (counting the Mayor), you double, triple, check all their seems, joints, check for any bug or worm damage (which can potentially ruin them) as well as making the nessecary preperations for the Phylactery machine by piling up a small wooden crate containing glass jars with mana crystals safely inside them.
You're gonna wait for the Twins to get back when you Animate them though- they'll probably be an immense help and it in part why you wanted to make them. Lab Assistance.

There's nothing more we can do with wisps. Infusing them with more miasma will either turn them into a Poe or make them explode. I believe the next step to poe/wisp/wraith related research is to investigate the process of making the heard for Ice Bonemeal golems.
Dark us showed us the proper steps to make one. One of which was the heart where we used a wisp to burn the ingredients, mold it into some lumpy thing, then infuse the wisp into the heart.
Not word for word but that was the general gist of it.

You make a meat pie that is so absolutely, undeniably, garbage that even the Undead, Orcs, and Filth Demons -even them- are unanimous in how offensive it is. Nothing you did turned out right: the mushrooms are bad, the seasonings are bad, the meat is bad, the crust is bad, it's too soggy, it's too burnt, it's cold in the middle, too hot on the outside.
It is so completely repungent that a Grandpa Filth Demon- an Elder: white hair, sunken eyes, carrying a pipe as a staff and escorted by his younger kin: offers to buy the pie off of you when you go to chuck it into the sewer. "I could never imagine mortal hands could make something so foul, please. I wish to study it."

-Mimas, after suffering heavy Orcish casualties has resorted to pestilence tactics: sending wave after wave of Skeleton, Bog-Zombie, and whatever filth he can dredge up from the Swamp. "Catherine hasn't been appreciating this, but we're confident with Sir Necromancer's help we can push this further."
-Mimas believes your creations could really make the difference since he can't animate anything larger than a medium-sized Humanoid or control Ghosts.
-Cheval admits she has a Succubus Spy infiltrating Catherine's territory and he's managed to confirm that Catherine has a Warlock hidden deep away in the Manner. If the Warlock could be dealt with: Catherine wouldn't be able to create more forces.

So, okay, couple things about Mimas:
-Mimas likes having his hair pulled and being slapped around.
-Mimas head does indeed come off. If anything he uses this for some.. Rather -creative- maneuvers.
-Mimas is the one rolling for anal circumference: he's shockingly submissive behind closed doors and with his armor is off.

Get back to the blood bank deal with our own village and En. Better yet let's Seance Archie and the Philosopher Stone and ask if they can have someone deliver a large container of changeling blood. We're gonna pump our Troll with Ichor and send Catherine a present.

fffffuuuuuuuccckkk I meant to say no for the sacrifice of trolls. But we really need more control points for more giant trolls m8's. What you don't think I don't want a giant titan of a guardian too? I wanted to capture and feed a frost troll for the purpose of making and even HUGER Troll.

>Time to go shopping to prep up for the Catherine fight
>Roll 15- Dependable high five.

Before you head out you go on a little shopping trip with the Twins and all four of them catch you up on how well they're doing in their studies and how long they expect to be tutoring them for... Which will be a few more months- four at the latest. They promise though that it'll be worth it and you believe them and even then you can visit them whenever, but for now it is time to shop!

You pick up just the standard goodies:
Tool, Food, Ammunition, Alcohol Armor, Weapons, couple of odds, couple of ends. Abel and Adrienna, though, pick you up something particularly thoughtful.. Well, sort of:
>++Quest Items!++
>Orthodox Idol to Verminus, "While no one knows what Verminus looks like, this one looks the most 'safe'. Orthodox style depicts Verminus as an androgynous figure cradling deformed and sickly people in their arms."
>Orthodox Idol to Nyx, "Nyx is a rather 'new' God- only a few hundred years old, so their public image is sketchy. This idol depicts Nyx as a maternal figure: draped in a black hood of stars, covering smaller figures underneath her while she stands between them and a large fish or reptile?"
Mimas also sees you off with several crates and caskets of dead bodies.
And a little lock of his hair in a ribbon- Seems he liked what you did to him... Do.. His people do this? People don't do this in your culture. You'll assume it's normal.

>>2712574
>Escort our goblinoids back home and have a party to see Chemmy and the goblins off.
>Roll 12- Above average rolling with advantage.

You bring everybody and everything you're bringing home and immediately consume the additional resources having a massive going away goblin party for Chemmy and his gang: They love the new females, they love Chemmy, they love You! Party, party, part-
Oh man are you ever fucking sick the next morning. You're sick, your cock is chaffed, Annie and Eloy are cleaning up- there's like 12 Goblins in your room and you've been through all of them. Chemmy's seen the best (worst) of it, but he's the leader- he can handle it.
>The 29 Goblins under your care have bid their farewell and have gone to live in your Dungeon. They're gone, but not really. Snoblins?
>You've still got 19 Hobgoblins though. Loyal, bold, n' brash.

Speaking of Snow:
>2712205
>Capture and Experiment on a Frost Troll
>Roll 20- Because I missed it and it's a good roll.

You capture a couple of Frost Trolls to cut them open, see what makes them tick, make expose them to the sun- oh, okay, so why do they burst into flames?
Some of them have thick fur, some of them have thick fat, some of them have tusks, some tails, some horns- Trolls have no consistancy. They're all vaguely Chimpanzee-sized, mean, and taste bad.
Yes, you tried to cook and eat a bit of one. Just a little bit. They're too gamey.
>They're still a bit too small, but either way: still trolls.

Monster of the Week Roll! Monster of the Week Roll!
Mimas has entrusted a steady supply of corpses, cadavers, Dead Bodies. A whole load of them, a whole half-horse-half-man load of them, so it's up to (you) Anons to do the following:
-I need d100's from each of you accompanied by some sort of Undead creature or spooky you wish to point in Catherine's general direction.

Don't be scared of being creative, but try to keep it within the spectrum of our current resources and or demonstrated knowledge/powers.

Ok I think I found something that might work that might be reasonable.
A giant (not like the city amounts worth of corpses pic I showed earlier.) withering multitenticled abomination created for the sole purpose of inflicting as much madness and unworldly fear as possible. Wicker Men "naturally" have this aura of fear. This one will be designed to take advantage of that by being something no one has seen before. Uh, scary enough to scare demons.
The yellow orbs will be replaced by screaming mage Sentry Skulls using only psychic and spirit powers to tear the minds of lesser beings apart.

So, it's composed of lots of bones and meat, these 5 mage Skulls, maybe instead of a stomach it'll have mound makers shaped as tentacles claws? Have some autism.

Monster Week, Monster Week- you sing song it to yourself loudly and proudly.
So what is so special about Monster Week? Well, normally when you make things you like to take into consideration safety, dependability, hazard- both biohazards and just.. Service Hazards. "How much of your psychic energy will this take to control? How long will it function for?" None of these matter right now.

Because with Mimas -royal- request you've been given leeway to make as dangerous, inhumane, abominations as possible: all the little voices in your head telling you to make horrible, dysfunctional, evil, wretched, creations can be released into the woods in hopes of culling Catherine's forces. Can't be held accountable- you're just doing your job!

>>2712736
>>Wickermen riding Mammoth Wraiths
>Roll 70- It'll do.

The first horror actually takes a week or so to make:
It's a Frozen Mammoth Wraith with frozen Wickermen bent and woven into 'cages' for it's legs that each contained piled up chilled half mutilated bodies (mostly orcs). The Mammoth constantly spawns irritated Ice Wraiths that come shrieking out whenever it's walked a certain length distance. It's terrible, noisy, and coooool. The best part though is: even when the Mammoth id destroyed the Wraiths will still be haunting the wood unless they're exorcised.

>>2712744
>I'd like a WinterWight
>Roll 93- Good, good. You needed a high roll.

You've still got some Ice left and the screaming and yells from the woods haven't stopped, so with Avarices help you gather a rather STRONG looking corpse, have it possessed by several Ice Wraiths, and then seal it together in a suit of frozen ice armor before giving it a bloody massive fuck-off FrostBranded Sword.
The moment it animates it starts screaming and running into the woods- fuming, steaming, it's melting discomfort fueling it's rage. You're both amused and very frightened. You know they'll really enjoy that one.

>>2712801
>Zombies that explode into freezing gas
>Roll 84- More than enough.

This one isn't very complicated, but is quite possibly the most fun:
You dredge up a few dozen Orc corpses and force feed them Wisps. Dozens, hundreds, you really pack them full 'till you have to sew them shut and they're absolutely fit to burst.
You then cast Unholy Frenzy on their pulsing, corpulent, glowing bodies and make sure to send them while it's night so they stand out. You actually get to see the results of this one- a frozen almost chandelier like formation of dead white imps having been flash frozen after popping one of your processed frozen pork bombs.

>One of those but zombies and each arm and leg has ice bonemeal scythe claws and belches out clouds of Wisps
>Roll 85- A little expensive, but you got this one.

Next up is a Frozen Zombie Scythipede. Avarice briefly tries to ask, but Eloy and Annie stop him. Nobody wishes to interrupt you during a "Monster Week"- you get into a bit of a crazy mood.
Bodies. Lots and lots of dead bodies are sewn together ass to mouth (some a little more damaged than others, so it's more like mouth to stomach), the next step is to then quite methodically hold each and everyone of their limbs so you can Mancy them split open with horrible, clacking, crystalline ice scythes. The limbs split, flay like ribbon, and the bones crack- the ice freezes and crawls up their body hardening them and making their movement stiff and.. "twitchy".
You think Catherine will find this one quite offensive given she's a Centipede Demon. Appropriating her species n' wot naught.

>>2712820
>A giant (not like the city amounts worth of corpses pic I showed earlier.) withering multitenticled abomination created for the sole purpose of inflicting as much madness and unworldly fear as possible.
>Roll 50- It'll be tricky.

You're running low on the budget of bodies Mimas has sent you and you don't want to dip into your own stock.. You use YOUR reagents for good. Mimas' supplies are for EVIL.... You do, however, notice Avarice and the Hobs trying to kill a Carrion Crawler that has been trying to crawl off with your Carrion. He will be your final piece.
You get your Troll Zombie to 'gently' smack him dead. Gently.
You then scoop out the creatures numerous eyes and in their sockets place Changeling (they came in the caskets) and a few Orc skulls (they have a jaw-muscle ridge, so not as great a fit). These skulls are then engemmed with polished miasma crystals and enscribed with exactly one spell.
Ray of Infirmity.

The creature has to be dragged to the wood in a crate, but the dazzling, disco-ball, of squirming, worming, shriveling evil gets in there and causes havok.
This particular horror only lasts maybe 3 days- you know this because a few days later you notice the large, blatant, flashing sickly spot lights stop blaring and sweeping out of the wood.
That one was fun.

>>2712873
We should find more deposits of corpses for more "Monster Week" fun. If we dig deep enough, I wonder if we can find the corpse of a god.

Aaaannndd... There we go!
A regular ol' Monster Mash as our last post for this weeks session! I hope you all had some fun and I'm thankful for everyone who showed up and participated: whether it was to save a roll, flirt with someone, or just to fuck things up- it all adds to the experience!

Here are the links same as they've always been and always here for you:
Thread has been archived: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=caster+quest
My Art Tumblr: http://spaghettiart.tumblr.com/

I... Don't have anything personal or whatever to say tonight!
I dunno, how about.. I recommend: https://youtu.be/iPzso8TvvSU The Animated spellbook- On Youtube! It's a really good non-memey series about unconventional or tricky spell use and I love it and maybe you guys would too?

That's all you'll get out of me for this week unless you've got non-spoilery questions for me.

>>2712887
Monster week was fun
>>
>>2712887
how many demons were killed during Monster Week?
>>
As a form of additional corpse income, I think it would be a great idea to ask our Village and en to save the bones of animals they butcher for us to use.
>>
>>2712887
Will we be able to grab Chemmy for important experiments from time to time?
>>
>>2712896
yes this.
>>
>>2712896
>>2713067

Behind the DM screen? A few of the Knights were injured, nothing debilitating, but it was a pretty distracting and time consuming experience- the Wraiths are still bothering them and will most likely assimilate into Wood/Barrow Wraiths if they don't solve that little issue.
You killed a shit load of Imps though, but they're basically Demon Goblins.
You costed Catherine time, money, and meat, and that's what's important.

>>2713028
>Will we be able to grab Chemmy for important experiments from time to time?

Sort of.
You can't just pull him out for every little thing, but he'll be around to help when it's important.
He may even develop a little Goblin town in there if the place gets big enough/deep enough.
>>
>>2713071
I see, i see.... Hmm... We need to come up with some particularly fucky ones next time...

Also, seduce Skeeter. Because I mean obviously. Maybe bring our favorite butcher demon with us. they might know eachother or something?
>>
>>2713073
and I just feel bad that we're probably fucking her life up over a personal feud with Catherine.

Because WE failed a charm roll. Gawd it's like we weren't even trying to bang every cute demon foster peace between species.
>>
>>2713071
Are fairies good for anything?

We should probably send more wraiths

Do the magic casting hobbies know any spells?

Can these Wicker Men be added to the undead list?

Hey guys what if we pray to Nyx to fix the Shrike?
>>
>>2713389
what if we enchant the feather on a sword
just bash and swing enemies of their shadows
>>
>>2713418
But who would we fight?
What if we can subdue some demons and drain their shadows?
>>
>>2713418
Idea!
We breakdown our mound makers to make a large mound maker ice bone Construct that's strong enough to capture imps, guards by more of those Winterwights.
>>
Maybe we can enchant a more potent and powerful spell onto an item if we use a frost shard.
