Last session is over here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/2632016/

The wait is finally over! We're back!
It's actually been a while so this is just as much a reminder for you as it is for me, but last time we: humanized our 'evil' twin and put him to the path of lesser evil (but not quite good), we gathered materials for our perfect robe and experimented with bone golems (the secret is in the bone meal!), we did a whole bunch of homework concerning Dinosaurs, Dragons, and found out we sucked at math!

Your information is here:

We got new Undead Cards this week: http://spaghettiart.tumblr.com/post/175149169942/jeepers-creepers-this-week-its-everything-else

More recently though: you finished a brief trip to the Commune and Pug to see how everyone was doing and were surprised to find the Commune of all places to be a bustling hive of activity- Archie's completed his Philosopher's Stone and he's got his mind set on expansion and even Cheval's Orc Fort is looking a little more Pugnacious. Why, even the Changelings have begun to reclaim Hemlock Ruins.
Copse is alive with activity and the Rotwood has been suspiciously quiet for weeks now.. Who's to say what could happen next?

Here's your obligatory "you are here" map update.
You're back at home and have just been hanging around: spending time with the Bee Family, admiring and appreciating the 2nd floor expansion on your farm house turning it into an official 'villa' and that really fancy, pancy, medical lab the Homunculi set up for you.
You figure you could actually run quite a respectable medical practice if you steady access to patience , but you chose to live in the middle of nowhere for a reason.

Time to experiment.
Let's try to do the thing where we enshrine a Watcher's Skull inside an Icegolem so it's protected and mobile. Ask our Evil(er) Twin for his input, what he thinks of the idea and if he'd be willing to help.

>Let's try making a moundmaker or three so we can start stockpiling corpses for materials
>Roll 84- High End Success.

Hanging around the Villa you've been watching your Mound Makers go about their business: they hide in the basement 'sleeping' all day in the store room with the rest of the bodies, but then at night they get up and trudge out through the breach to go gather viscera, gore, whatever cadavers they can find. You don't even have to order them to do this- they'll do it on auto pilot. They're great.
You'd like to make more; luckily you've got plenty of materials.
>2+ Mound Makers.
>17+2= 19/20 Undead Units. (4 x Mound Makers in total)
They all shuffle off to go make more Mounds, you're Mindful to tell them to Mind the Murder.

>Let's try to do the thing where we enshrine a Watcher's Skull inside an Icegolem so it's protected and mobile.
>Roll 75- Luckyyy Dependable Five.

The psychic limits of your mental domination are beginning to reach their limits and while you want to command more you don't like the idea of just making more Watcher's Skulls to be placed in 'precarious smash me' locations.... So you'll put them in an Ice Golem. You ask your 'evil twin' for his input on the matter.
It's a decent idea. I would have done it myself, but I was more invested in Rot: Ice is too gentle, it's too soft and patient. I wanted immediate results. Hmn.
>1 x Ice Golem (Watcher's Skulls): This Ice Golem has 3 Watcher Skull's sitting inside it's body: extending your psychic range and protecting the skulls. You thought about adding more skulls, but your Twin figures if you add too many the Ice will melt and it'll turn into a wraith or something.
>+15 Undead Unit
>19/35 Total Undead Unit Score.

I guess it's good to know that if this whole "Dark Lord" shtick doesn't work out we could settle for being a doctor.
On another note if there is room in your next post I'd like to ask Eloy about golems, particularly if there is such a thing as a very smart one that can improvise and carry out complex long running open ended plans, and if so how do they arise and how might we replicate that.

>Bad Rolls. Bad Rolls everywhere.

The Homunculi Bones HAVE come: you've a sizable crate of them and when laid out and methodically pieced together you've 4 entire skeletons to work with. Both you and your evil twin can't help but admire the almost clean, sterile, gold-tinted hue to these artificial bones. You're ready and rearing to make your first Flesh Golem: you've got all the soft materials, skin, bones, plenty of organs, brains, everything you-
Never got to the Grocer Hungry or you'll just end up impulsively buying whatever looks good. You need to establish what you want: theme, body type, age, I'd strongly advice seancing the various brains to make sure you pick one with a viable personality and disposition (not that the livings memories are retained, thankfully). You're going to be making a Person. Everything must be perfect if they are to be obedient.
Hmn.

>>2670449

You're gonna go ask Eloy. Eloy's a smart guy, he went to college, he might know something.
"Well Flesh Golems are people." Him and Annie are in their shared room: taking turns brushing one another's hair. "They can speak, they can think, they have personal ambitions, goals, dreams. They can do really whatever that's asked of them, provided they're built well enough. They're made to be servants, yes, but their loyalty is kind of... " Annie speaks rather quietly, but your ears perk up as if against your own will "Spiritual." She gives a little wave, but you get the feeling it's for you - not at you. "Yes, spiritual. The relationship between a creator and a creation can be extremely personal even without magic."

>>2670459
>Read through our twin's books first to since he probably has notes on it.
>9- But he wants you to read it.

That's a lot to digest for a 16 year old boy, so you figure you're gonna have to digest on these matters a little more and what better way to do it then to crack open the private logs of your evil-efficient twin and to see what he had planned out on the matter. His personal logs have two very interesting Flesh Golem Designs he had methodically and patiently designed:
-One is just a carbon copy of you, perhaps a little older, but still visibly identifiable as another 'you' made out of the flesh, bone, and organs of strangers. This was most likely 'his' plan B in the event it took to long to kill you or something else came up.
-The second one is a touch more sentiment than you were expecting and wouldn't necessarily object to making: a pair of black haired, bowl cut, twin Flesh Golems; one boy, one girl- designed in mind to be assistants, personal hands, ambassadors, and potential apprentices...Perhaps even friends? You think there's a little too much love, care, and personal flare put into them to be designed by evil Skeleton you. They're just too cute.
They needed to be cute for socialization and diplomatic purposes.

It's a lot to think about.
>>
Rolled 20 (1d20)

>>2670541
Welp while we are thinking about diplomacy, I'd like to take a trip to Hemlock and En looking for the Emir or who ever is in charge. I'd like go ahead and inform them (privately) about the fact we are a necromancer, that we have made a potentially lucrative Ice Dungeon near our farm ruins lair, our spat with Catherine and the bounty on us, the fact that even with the Mass Graves no longer infested with hordes of undead Hemlock might not be entirely safe due to Catherine and the brewing war between her and the Homunculi.
>>
>>2670541
So flesh golems are a long term project that can't be half-assed. Got it.

I kinda like their design for the Twins. Would give us good experience for sure.

>Skeletal Ice Golem Doo-hickery-spoo-hickery.
>Roll 46, 97- LUCKYYyyy sort of!

Heading back into the lab you put away the books and play around with something to clear your mind.. Specifically: you start putting whatever it is you think would be funny or practical to put inside an Ice Golem. The results are mixed, but here's basically what you find out:
-You can't put a Bone Golem inside an Ice Golem. Golems won't layer. Unfortunate.
-You CAN hollow out an Ice Golem and then place a Skeleton inside of it. Multiple Skeletons can potentially be placed inside of a large enough Golem- you tried it with Zombies, but they freeze, become brittle and damaged by the frost and the whole point (you suppose) is if the Ice Golem gets killed the attacker now has to deal with an angry Skeleton.

>>2670601
>Flesh Golem Copy?
>3- Not high enough, no census reached, but I'll use it for a constructive failure.

There's absolutely no fucking way you're gonna make a body for your Evil Twin. You're pretty sure your psyche will eventually eat him and the two of you will just be one person and neither will notice it happening. That's a little morbid. Still, though, you've got this fancy medical lab and you'd like to use it.
You give everybody a physical. This isn't a joke- you are, unrionically, a serviceable Doctor.
-Chemmy, The Hobs, and all of the Goblins need their teeth fixed to some degree. They grow back, but that doesn't mean they grow straight.
-Avarice gets a clean bill of health: he's a demon, he's very resilient.
-Eloy & Annie get a full body detail, but you don't remember Annies- you can only imagine Evil You wanted to personally do that. They both leave in top working condition.
-Ginger needed her hair and toes trimmed, but is otherwise a good dog.
-You even give your Snow Nymph a free check up- to which she seems more than happy to accept. She's just kinda fat.

>Roll 20- 20's aren't mind control, but you've been a consistent asset.

A few days pass like this, until everything is sorted and you think you'd like to visit En: spill the beans to them, doctor them a little if they need it, but mostly just let Emir know whats up.
Bag all doctored, cloud summoned, you putz on over to the sleepy town of En, and after a little community service you work up the courage to speak to Emir.
He's.. Vaguely Aware of the happenings and has been quietly 'aware' of your practices.. He's not happy with it, but he'll tolerate you so long as you continue to be good. He's distracted though:
seems there's a Witch living in the Troll Cave.

>How do you know she's a witch?
>Roll 3- You'll know what he tells you and nothing more.

Emir tells you that at about the start of the Month livestock began to go missing and while this is a pretty typical occurrence: the livestock were eventually returned, completely hollowed out, sometimes draped over stick fetishes and hung out plainly to be seen with the crows reluctant to feast on the remains. This would have been unsettling enough, but remains that were set to be cremated have been stolen, and even a child is missing- both of these things impossible for the dead to do as both are guarded.
That sounds pretty extreme for a Witch, but you believe his words.

>>2670709
>Tell the Emir that we wish to be friends with En and Hemlock once it's repaired.

He believes you and he thanks you, but he asks that you continue to help the community when you can; especially now if it's at all possible.
You're not the kind of person to make vague promises, but you do tell the Emir you'll head out right away to at least survey the area for clues or suspicious paranormal details.

>>2670718
>>2670689
>Check it out. It might be the Occultist?
>Roll 18, 18- High Dubssss.

You hope that this is all just a series of unfortunate coincidences: a bored demon caused the livestock mishap, the bodies were.. let outside.. and the child is just.. misplaced? It's probably the Occultist in the Troll Cave either way- yeah, she's just hanging out, and- It isn't.
Immediately hovering around with you can sense a definitive, unsavory, paranormal presence: there's bodies, bones, fetishes hung up and draped ritually around the area and with a bit of wafting stink rising from the root holes of the Troll Cave you can tell there's somebody brewin' up something nasty in there. You're 80% sure there's a Hag living here. They eat children to stay young, they skin prostitutes so they can wear their skin and shapeshift, and you're pretty sure they turn men frogs for potions and horses for.. other purposes.
Sounds like an opportunity for resources n' reagents. Don't get eaten.

>7, 7, 17- Extremely lucky. VERY, very lucky.

You're expecting a Hag, so you're not really going to leave anything to chance even though you'd like to wean yourself off of depending upon others. Evil you 'is' kind of right, but still:
-You bring over your 15 Rothide Gnolls: armed with Orcish weapons (blades, spears, rifles), armor, wrapped head to toe in bandages and cloth. They look like crap, but right 'choppy n' brutal. A pair of medium sized Ice Golems are also invited- you.. give um a couple spikes to make them more menacing.
-Butcher is invited, but you let her know she's to sit out unless you.. you literally get kidnapped. Again. "Hah." You give her a little smooch since even if she thought that joke was funny it was kind of at her expense.
-A spell list is prepared: >>2670772 For any and every occasion.

Marching over to their place you're met with mild resistance: their fetishes deter paranormal creatures from interfering with their territory, but their constructions are weak, sloppy, and can't withstand your paranormal presence. She most likely knows you're coming and this becomes the more obvious when you reach the cave (the clearings vegetation having tried to grown back, but bones and waste now litter the front) and notice a female humanoid scurry back inside to summon three others of her kind.
They all have pale, veiny skin dull skin, long, dirty, black hair that would be tangled if it wasn't so heavy with an almost 'human' appearance save for their clawed hands and black, sunken in, narcoleptic eyes. The largest, most well-endowed, one of their kind (most likely the Hag-Mother or Matriarch) steps forward and attempts diplomacy... By flagrantly exposing herself.
"Well hello little man... What do we owe this pleasure~? Come to... Have your way with us~?" You scan them, they're caked in a bit of dirt, dried red animal blood, but you don't whiff any Changeling remains. Kid could still be alive- maybe in a cage?
The Matriarch tilts her head, lays it on a little thicker.. Showing and flaunting her heft n' thickness a bit more, "Hmn? What's the matter~? Too young to like Women~? Am I too much for you. Come, let Mommy teach you something new."
Okay, well, you're definetly not putting your penis near any of them: You ask Butcher if she has any advice.
"Her Vagina is sideways." Okay, thanks Butcher.

Diplomacy could be possible, you've had enough sex that you won't be rolling with a disadvantage (heHehhh). These are Monsters though, so killing them may be the pragmatic thing to do.

>Roll 6, 9, 14- Good enough Intimidate. You needed at least a 7.

You're not in the slightest bit swayed by the Hag's attempts at seduction: you're a big adult man who's seen lots of tits and plenty of vaginas, she's probably only like that because she's a cannibal and further more-
>>2670841 >It has teeth too doesn't it...
Butcher Demon is right, their Vaginas ARE weird.

You give them an ultimatum: either they leave En alone, give back any Children they've stolen, or you pull their skeletons out. Manually. They hiss, their demeanor becoming far more aggressive, but reluctantly submissive, the three younger ones whine and cling to their mother; complaining and mewling about how she needs to kill you and stop this and how dare he. She cuffs them, "get the cage. Release the kid." They crawl away and you share a brief tense moment together with the Mother before her daughters drag out a very upset, dirty, Changeling child.
The child is scooped up into your custody. Everything seems to go pretty smooth, but you can sense this has left a rather wide scar on the Hag's pride.
Don't be such a sniveling cur, look at you: filthy, living in a cave, trying to steal and eat children. I don't care what happens to the Beast Men living in this Jungle, if you want to be cannibals eat them, but you're never going to become powerful preying on inferior victims. I'm strong. You're weak. Be mad at yourself. If you so much as inconvenience my work or my life again: I personally guarantee to reanimate your skeletons while your still alive so you can live to see and feel them tearing free from your own body- starting with your daughters.

The child is wrapped up in a blanket and napping. Butcher Demon is visibly aroused, she tells you you said some pretty graphic and unsettling things to the Hags and she's just kinda enjoying the dull buzz it gave her. You don't recall any of this, but do remember the Hags stopped being bitchy and became far more submissive and cowering before you left.

En is happy to have their child back. Big Hero! Accepting new Actions.

It's the Priest Boy. It's the boy! He's at the party, a little too old to drink (he's like 2 years younger than your baby face self), but the two of you share one of these.. The final thing you take care of in town on your way out is the purchase of a great quantity of clothing and fabric: material you get at a discount for being the town's hero and more than enough to make all your employees matching sets of clothes. You figure Annie might be able to handle a job like that? Throw together something nice? Your dark side doesn't seem to object.

>Speaking of Butchers, let's go celebrate with her.

You don't make it home on the same day though: Butcher isn't allowed in En (They're normal god fearing folk, you can't expect everything out of them), so you make sure to bring out second, third, and fourth helpings (Butcher's a Big Girl.) of alcohol and meat to have another little party with her.... Before.. It devolves into something a little more crude and less celi(bate)bratory.

>1, 3, 19.

The return home is a bit rough: it doesn't go over too well.
Butcher Demon is on her way to the Rotwood, so she carpools with you on the way their on your little cloud in the morning, with a brief stop up at Honey Hill's Hive to say "Hi" to Bee Mom. She makes things exceedingly embarrassing as this is the first time she's actually met any of your lovers. Strutting on over she can't help but size up Butcher, "Hhmmn.. My, my, little black beetle~ This is an AWFUL lot of Woman.. And an awful lot of Man too!" She's happy to see you're rutting someone strong, but hearing her say that doesn't exactly feel like a compliment.
It's not the end of the world, but you're reminded of your age and Butcher heads out on her own way a little redder than usual.

When you do finally get home things are a little more compliant, but in the wrong ways. The Golems are willing to listen to you and they're more than happy to gather ore and crystal snow wood, but they won't fell any trees and they're only willing to harvest what naturally falls or chips off... They bring back kindling & small stones, barely worth the effort.

>Have Annie begin making appropriate clothing/uniforms for our undead
>Roll 13- Supernaturally good.

Annie gets a hold of the fabric when you get back home and when you return to her you find she's started, but maybe only a quarter of the way through making little uniforms for all your undead minions. You think you'll sit down and try to help Annie: you've sewn up bodies, how hard can it be to sew clothing? She's quiet. She doesn't really have a lot to say, but once she's comfortable you do hear her hum a tune you're vaguely familiar with. It's calming: sewing in the living room, a humid breeze blowing through the window. You find yourself looking at your hands and thinking about how funny it is how much you work with your hands.

>It's been a slow process, so you don't really notice it.

I have a small question. With the Homunculus bones, I assume we're just getting them in the standard human/homunculus template. And now with the Philosophers Stone, could we custom order unique skeletons like if we gave the schematics/measurements/casts of skeletons we already have like the Triceratops or Cockatrice?
>>
>>2671257
I think we'd need genetic material, not just casts. So probably could pull it off with the cockatrice but probably not the triceratops. But we have that Slibinas so if we could get a fresh scale off it the Philosophers Stone might be able to work with that.

>Prep Roll
>2, 70- Bad, but better.

This is far more of a committed process than you were expecting: your evil half has written out extremely methodical, deliberate, and in excruciating personal detail every single faucet of the construction and design of these little Twins he had in mind. It takes DAYS just to sort and compile all the pieces, but really that is the first and hardest part: heart, lungs, tongue, stomach, never mind the bones- everything must be perfect. You easily go through 50 bodies if not more.
The most unsettling part is, though, Seance Brains. Your Evil Twin insists this step is important and doing it you understand why, but it feels gross and disgusting to dig through and inspect the latent personalities and ids of dead brains looking for someone polite, friendly, servile, and so forth. The brain is the one part we can't accept any substitute or jerry rigging. It's fine, you've got the time. You get it.

While it takes far longer than you expect: you DO eventually finish and stopping to look at your lab prep hand work.. The twins are sterile, lifeless, but they're good to go whenever you think you're ready to bring them to unlife. You can't help but admire your craftsmanship... You kind of want to show Archie.

>Bring them to Life!
>Roll 3, 83, 93- Solid save, also nice mirrored numbers. Very thematic.

You figure you're as ready as you're ever going to be to animate these two Flesh Golems: you slip out of your work clothes and into your ritual robes, get your staff, ask Chemmy to lower the table so he can double check all their seams n' stitching so they don't blow up or something ridiculous before coming back and wash the bodies down one more time to freshen them up before you reanimate them.
The ritual starts in earnest: you start fumigating them with miasma, but you weren't expecting them to be so needy- they take and take and take and you can feel them animating and coming to life as they suck everything out of you to power the process.

You're not entirely sure if you can do this whole thing by yourself. You can't quit in the middle of the process though or it'll damage their bodies or worse- they'll animate improperly. You yell at Chemmy and Avarice to get you whatever Mana Crystals they can find even if they have to pry them from the Skulls and thankfully it's enough.. Just 'enough': they're weak, they're both very weak, like little baby rabbits- squirming and confused, they need one last little surge.

You rush over and without hesitation crank the lever that releases the phylactery device. You're not even 30% sure what it does, but you have a hunch. The machine pro-lapses out from the ceiling, you and Chemmy run over to connect the Flesh Golems to the machine: wires and tubes going into their veins and mouth- before you quickly run over and flip the switch. Your vague hunch pays off: everything goes quiet, absolutely perfectly unnaturally still as if the machine was absorbing the essence of movement, but your twins become stable and you turn off the machine.

They're covered in a patient gown and laid off of the cold surgery table. They're better than stable, even just laying on the patient bed you can tell they're quality is exquisite- you're not sure if you'll ever be able to make something so well put together, so perfect. They're beautiful. You ask your Evil Twin what he thinks of the twins you've made together. You can't seem to hear him anymore.

Annie and Chemmy are called over and your Twin Flesh Golems are washed up, cleaned, and....Well, it's a new body, so before you can feed them they have to.. They have to fart. You have to watch them for an hour as they breath and lay around rather slugishly and hungry, but thankfully it happens. This is important because they'll bloat and fall apart if their insides didn't reanimate properly. You and Annie then create a probiotic mash: yogurt, sweet potato, mushrooms with a little grave soil mixed in to cultivate them followed by some scrambled eggs to actually feed them.

You spend a lot of time just watching them.
It's like watching a train try and start up for the first time: they've got all the necessary tools, but everything needs to warm up. It's fascinating to see them become more intelligent, aware, and functional in real time.

You're not sure you can do that even if you want to and you do.. Because who would you be resurrecting? What would you be resurrecting? Your feelings for Annie don't seem to have subsided: you know how important she was to Evil you and in turn how important she is to you- Annie herself doesn't seem to have changed. While still not 'truly' getting over yourself, you manage to get back up and back to work: you'd like to ask the staff if they could work out a better way of gathering raw materials from the Dungeon besides the Golems.. Who are not a better way. You do like how they seem to be planting Crystal Trees though.
-Eloy tells you if we were to establish a town here that our 'subjects' could be sent in and the entire Dungeon Economy we've been creating could be centralized. "I wasn't for the town making idea at first, but now that you can just 'make' people I think it could work out. I'm obviously biased, but I'd much prefer to see more Flesh Golems."
-Annie timidly speaks up, "I.. Think a town of my people would be very nice!"
-Chemmy tells you that the Goblins and Hobs 'could' be sent into the Dungeon, "But theya'd be a risk of the cunts just goin' native." It's a large Dungeon and Goblins do rather like living in Dungeons.
-Avarice figures we should just get a bunch of Orc Slaves to do it. "I guess, uh.. We could see about those Gnomish Traders? But we'd have to get into contact with them- Doesn't your Mother have a connection with them?" You remind Avarice the Bee Queen isn't your actual Mother, "But she looks just like you?" Though, more importantly you ask her about the Catherine Situation her tone isn't so cheery.
"Oooh, it's quite tense sir; rumor has it Catherine may have killed the Shrike and is getting stronger everyday. Mimas is back to full health: physical and spiritual and he's been working tirelessly to whip up Cheval's forces into fighting shape, but, well.. Orcs."

>Create Ice Bone Elephant
>Roll 58, 91- Good, perhaps.. 'too' good.

Yes, you've got just a bit more to do and that's to animate a massive Skeletal Elephant of Ice to use as a siege weapon: with long tusks, snowy frost hide, and all the trappings locked in thick frozen bones like steel. It will be the perfect offensive and defensive weapon. You gather up nothing but the bones of every four-legged animal you have and don't plan on using (not the elephant, obviously, but bone meal made out of Goat, Deer, you think some BeastMen bones accidentally fell into the mix) and begin mixing, freezing, casting, and drawing the ritual spell for a truly heinous n' frosty creation.
When everything is perfect you have yourself a to-scale replica of an Elephant Skeleton- The Jungle kind, not, like, the temperate forest kind, they're flatter and their tusks poke straight out. Never mind the semantics, you're eager to see this bulldozing block of ice animated: you grab your staff, breath out, and let the miasma fumigate it's epidermus-less pachydermus skeletal body... The blue hued ice crystal bones shiver, rattle, and the become sullied and polluted by the miasma before the bone fragments permeating within absorb the paranormal energy.

It realizes a thematic identity you didn't anticipate, but aren't particularly displeased by.
>+New Unique Creation+
>Mammoth Wraith: "Construct Undead, this towering Undead creation of ice shaped into an Elephant's skeleton combines your knowledge of both Ice and Spirit, creating a frozen pachyderm's skeleton encased in the haunting image of a Mammoth's memory. On one hand, it's time, labor and intensive to make flesh golems. On the other hand they seem to be by far the best things we can make. Also Archie said he was practically swimming in spare homuculus body parts thanks to the Philosopher's Stone. I wonder if we get their help in supplying quality parts as needed. Then we'd still have to go about actually designing the people. Should we try to make every one unique of have a template like homunculi? Eh, Copse isn't so bad outside Rotwood. And paladins are typically adventurers. Adventurers have a habit of running headlong into the place most people fear to go. I'm a bit surprise Copse isn't more lousy with them honestly. But imagine what said paladin would encounter when he got to Copse and started asking around for us. In En? "Oh yeah that nice boy that help a farmer with ant and ghost problems, cleared out some creeps from Hemlock and recovered the old priests' remains, killed a troll for us, got some animal men that were messing up the church to leave peacefully and rescued a child from some Hags and made them stop causing trouble, what do you need with him?" Doubt they'd go to Pug. Commune #9? Probably just stony silence. Cheval Mannor would be suicide.

Today we start our adventure just outside of the Commune, specifically; in their little immigration office actually. You promised the Twins (No names yet, your Evil Twin never wrote any names, just: F1 and F2) that you'd take them to visit the Commune, but all first visitors to the Commune must be registered, documented, and given their Sorority Cards- an orderly society is paramount to all Homunculi and your creations aren't exempt from this.
The Twins need to be measured, weighed, their species needs to be identified, address taken, etc.. So you've got a little bit of time to think about what you'd like to do here or show them while them and their matching bowl cuts are identified for the records and their Sorority Cards drafted.

>Introduce then to the people we know here. #16, #72, etc.
>Introduce them to 72 after they're registered.

The twins step out of the office and in unison show you the I.D cards they've been given. They're still made of that same 'warm' metal yours is made of, but they're a different shade all together, their bar codes are different (though very similar to one anothers) and they've got a very visible icon in the corner.
You ask the security officer what that's about, "Every species is designated an easy to read graphic. Even Constructs." Huh, neat.
Taking the Twins hands, you set out to introduce them to all your friends in town!
#72 is the first up since you always know where she is and she can't help but give them the once over: eyeing them up and down, running her hand through their hair, asking a few personal questions. She seems impressed, "Archie is definitely going to want to see these two, you've done an excellent job on them."
#16 is the second person you run into though. She's sitting on the fountain of the white and gold tree in the centre of the Commune's Town square, just taking a small break. She smiles when she sees you, but a touch of discernible curiosity paints her normally monotone face. She's quite excited to meet the Twins and the three of them get a long rather well; it isn't that she's frightened or disturbed by you, but #16 seems more casual and loose around the Twins.
Come to think of it, but you notice that with the other Homunculi just passing by: your presence has grown into something of spellbound shock, but the Twins are greeted with a sense of excited curiosity and familiarity. The unspoken bonds of artificial beings perhaps.

>>2673487
>Go talk with Archie (and maybe the Stone) concerning the Catherine situation and getting a steady supply of Homunculus bones and other supplies/tech in exchange for the crystal wood and bivrost

You've got to show Archie, of course you have to.
You're and the Twins are let into the Arcanum and through the large doors you walk into the Architect's study and see if he's around. There is another Male Homunculi here instead. This is the 2nd Male Homunculi you've ever seen. He is much taller, more built like an adult: muscular, lean, and quite handsome, with neat blonde hair, and long eye-lashes. His work clothes are recently dirtied and folded down- tied around his waist to expose a white Homunculi skinsuit hugging tightly his masculine frame. He extends his hand and it's neatly trimmed claws to shake your smaller palm.
"Hello, Necrolyte. Father Architect is indisposed for just a moment more, but I'd be happy to keep you company, I'm the Manufacturer, recently.. Well... Manufactured!" He softly laughs at his own joke. You ask him what he's the Manufacturer of?
"Weapons & Armaments both design and production, I'm also the newly designated technician of security, so you could call me the talking head of warfare."

While the Twins wander around: skimming through the books, gawking at the skeletons of the giant beasts on display in the back, and all the various other Arcane & Scientific curios Archie keeps in his study you talk a little business with his Manufacturer.
He's pleasantly surprised, he had been quietly prompting a cigarette to light, but stops upon hearing your request- holding it between his lips- and pulls out the various plans, schematics, and designs kept in his work clothes.

-Blades, Rifles, Shields, Spears, Maces, suits of Armor in every shape and quality, some familiar, some foreign, some intended to be physically attached to the hand, the leg, as prosthesis. Everything brutal and deliberate in it's efficiency and singular purpose to kill. He beams with pride when he sees the inspired look on your face.
-Interestingly enough you also catch eye of a receipt and order already filled: a large Cold Iron Blade forged specifically for Mimas.

Archie eventually waddles up and out from the basement sub-lab. He chastises his Manufacturer, "MOE, I told you not to smoke in the study!" He points his finger forward, there's a brief light, and the Manufacturer's cigarette goes out, "Ah, Father, please." Archie, drying the sweat from his brow on his robes greets you before his head jerks abruptly to spy your Twins. "Did.. Did you make those? They smell like you. Did you make them?" Still holding your hand, he begins to awkwardly drag you along.
He wants to know measurements, ingredients, parts, age, response time, everything- He even gets annoyed when you try to give them, but quickly remembers how poor of an academic you are from your spit-balled second hand notes. "I guess there's no accounting for talent. They're very well put together; I'm genuinely impressed. You did an excellent job and I'm happy you're seeing some work out of that laboratory we put together for you."
You ask ol' Archie what he's been up to.
"Well, I made Moe a couple days ago and he's taken a lot of the stress off me. I've got him on arms, armaments, security, etc.. He even made Mimas.. Cheval's Cousin I guess? A sword out of Cold Iron. Exquisite Blade too." Moe waves, he's sitting out on the stoop smoking. Archie is annoyed, but the action is permissible.
"The construction is nearly completed and the trade agreements have all been squared away. I wouldn't be shocked if you come back in a month and don't recognize the place.. We even had an Elf come here briefly." A lot of energy has returned to Archie: the colour in his face is back, he's got that good fat, and his eyes are clear and well lit.

Elf? Elves? You interject, with rather childish and bright eyed excitement: you've only heard rumor of them from your Snow Nymph and what you've read in picture books. "Yes, an Elf; quite curious I know. She was here on a business trip: she wasn't invited (not that I'd even know how to invite an Elf), but couldn't help noticing our 'urban development project' and was quite interested in developing some sort of 'exclusive chain of markets' in our city...I told her I'd think about it." Archie hands you a number of colourfully packaged goods: food, simple medicines, rolled tobacco, and a small stack of paper bound texts with large clear text and vivid realistic imagery. "These are just a few of the inventory items she plans on selling: commodities mostly? I think it's some sort of Anachronistic Antiquary? I don't entirely understand her target audience myself."
Moe speaks up from outside, "She probably see's something we don't. Most likely trying to establish a founding buyers market or some such. I think it has to do with the potential proffits made in the difference between cross-realm currencies: taking advantage of the antiquated precious metal minting system of 'less developed' indigenous peoples."
Archie relents that Moe is also in charge of commerce, but that was an unintended design boon.

>Suss out a trade agreement for homunculus skeletons for dungeon materials
>ask Archie and Moe on their option about a giant suit of Ice Bonemeal armor mixed with miasma shard.

>Roll 9- Nine. Below Average, but not 'bad'.

When the trade talks start orientating to you, Moe smothers the head of his cigarette on his tongue, slips it back into his pocket for later, dusts himself off, and walks back into the study.
"Excellent, I'd be delighted to discuss what we can offer one another, sir."
-The Commune wants a semi-exclusive access to the resources in your Dungeon: this would mean only you and the Commune could crawl it.
-The Commune is willing to manufacture and supply you with whatever Weapons or Equipment they can make from the resources within- at no cost to yourself.
-The Commune 'can' see about supplying you with organic materials (both Homunculi and Foreign), but they need a certain % cut. "The Philosopher's stone is quite needy in terms of genetic sampling requirements- she wishes to strengthen and reinforce Father himself and his work."

You'll have to come to a consensus on this. In the mean time:
>>2673918
>Flirt with Moe
>Roll 7- Luckyyyyyyyy.

Homunculi can be quite unemotive: unless they were designed specifically for prostitution like #72 was, you've come to expect them to not really appreciate social nuance or sexual tension.
Moe was designed for tact, business, and design. Charisma is genetically his second highest stat.
His charm is manipulative and intoxicating: him expressing his interest even gets you a little flustered.

Instead of that semi exclusive access, suggest semi-semi exclusive access. We'll reserve the dungeon for them alone a few days of the week, and the rest of the week we can do whatever with it. Or if they want more time at once we can make it every other week, or every other month, etc. Maybe 4 months out of every year if anons don't want to go 50/50 and they want a long period of exclusive use?

>Flex on the exclusivity clause.
>Roll 15- Good enough, it's better used for this anyway.

Having your Dungeon exclusive to one faction isn't entirely convenient.. You.. Can't really agree to that. You also don't think it's entirely advised or feasible because you're pretty sure to enforce that you'd have to significantly increase how aggressive the Dungeon's fauna and terrain is to non-Homunculi.
Moe is.. Slightly inconvenienced, but he admits he can settle for less if it means moving this forward faster. In short terms: nothing much will change on your end, but you'll receive supplies and can send production requests to the Commune.

>For an action, UUUUH I dunno, go say hi to the philo stone. Ask about these upgrades it's planning to make to Archie, and if you can get them too.

Once all this talk of trade and business is out of the way you'd like to go see the Philosopher's Stone- Archie advices against the Twins coming down as she might eat them, so they have to wait upstairs.
The growth of flesh is curious to see you. "You've grown! I could pick up your presense from outside of town.. Did you-" You're not comfortable discussing such personal matters here and now. "Right, right, I'm sorry- business it is then." You ask her about Moe, genetic upgrades, material, etc..
"Oh, well, Moe is a 2nd generation: composed of both me and Archie were as all the other Girls are just 1st Gen- clones of Archie. We're looking to strengthen our composition by-" By making Archie his own Grandpa? She can't help but laugh, the whole room shivering in delight, the pooling blood below rippling gently. "Yes! Exactly!"

Before heading out, you innocently ask if she can improve non-Homunculi too.. Humans for instance. A sick, morbid, grin crawls across her shivering corners, "I have a few ideas of course.. But I've never worked on anything 'naturally cultivated'. I'm unsure if the subject would survive the sort of invasive improvements I'd care to do. Everything natural is so poorly put together, but so delightfully persistent in their flaws- it's frustrating, but infinitely fascinating." She slithers over, getting a little more personal.
"I personally think your latest work is particularly impressive. I can't tell you how captivating it is to see you craft something in as unoptomized conditions as you're forced to work in. It's inspiring."

>Roll 20, 9- Perfect! Not so Perfect!

Taking the soonest Cloud out with your Twins in tow; you say until next time to your friends at the Commune and 'zip' on over to the Orcish town of Pug to see how things are going..
It's funny, but you're sure someone over there has become significantly more powerful, Cheval? Mimas maybe? Tollund Bog has been consistantly shrouded in a thick overcast dark cloud and while the rainy season has finally ended in the rest of Copse it continues to gently storm in this area with it's churning epicenter over at Pug.
The town is as bustling, squealing, as it's ever been if not more so and you have to laugh when the Twin's pinch their noses- Yes, you suppose that goes the same for the smell.
Among the crowd below you easily make out Mimas' Horse Hind-Quartered figure: he's blonde with a long pony tail (on his head, heh), white-skinned, blue-eyed, half horse, and in blatant powerful ceremonial armor. He's a difficult man to miss. Never mind the impressive sword he proudly wears at his side- the blade fuming, covering it's sheath in a layer of frost.

When you hail him in your heavily accented Cockaigne he can't maintain the stern look on his face and beams. "My friend! Or should I say my savior! My hero!"
Seems he's been eager to see you- he can't wait, snatching you up when you step down from your cloud and hugging you with a bit of a spin before setting you back down.

Mimas catches you up on matters while you walk and talk to Cheval's make-shift manor.
Seems with Cheval's Court more or less complete: she's been confident enough to really begin flexing her powers over the area- haunting it as it were. "Just a taste of the things to come my friend. My dear cousin at full strength, why, there's nothing more horrible than an offended Vampire Queen." Still, though, you can't help but notice all the Orc Soldiers he's been trying to train.

"Is that what you've heard?" The two of you discuss such matters; a servant holding an umbrella over Mimas and the Twins holding an umbrella over you and themselves.. Inbetween getting distracted by Pug.
"While it would convenience any of our own efforts to reestablish our sovereignty over the Rotwood and Cheval Estate.. The fact that Catherina may have possibly done such a thing does not bode well for us. The Shrike is a determined and horrifying creature that desired nothing more than to see the sanctity of his polluted wood returned- we were honestly hoping him and his fey court would buy us some time." Concern paints Mimas face, but you can see him trying to work things out in his head.
"She could be trying to strong arm the Shrikes people to her cause."

Upon your return to Cheval's court Mimas attendants announce his lordship arrival.. It's a bit embarassing, but you feel Mimas confident hand on your back and he assures you that you've earned a little fanfare at this point. The court comes to attention and the Twins dutifully scoot to be back at your side- quite proud of themselves.

This sounds like a whole lot of responsibility for someone who's maybe a little too young to drink never mind whatever Lady Cheval is possibly insinuating. She snaps her fingers and one of her servants comes forth with a little plush pillow and a nice little.. Crown that looks like it made fit your head..
"I've been watching you for a while now: I've eyes everywhere and especially now since I've no reason to fear that bloated Imp Catherine." She picks it up, palming and running it delicately through her black claws.
"Your apprehension to accepting power and prestige for fear of harming those you'd be responsible for is one of the qualities I greatly admire in you. Humility is often something people of power unfortunately lack- individuals in your unique school of magic especially. I'm not surprised at how endeared the local people have become to you.. You, who would might quite an excellent little Lord." She sets the crown back down onto the pillow and leans back in her throne, her posture relaxing and her hanging breasts filling down towards her lap as she makes room to cross her hands over her chest.

"I won't force this upon you.. As it would indeed come with as many rewards as expectations: subjects, riches, resources, land, a estate of your own or perhaps even a small castle to call your own later down the line.. But naturally you would need to make returns on this investment: taxes, soldiers, all the paper work of a Lord no matter how young....Though I did tell Eloy to groom and prepare you for this proposal, has he not?"
You tell her Eloy mostly complains about having to serve a child, "Ah, well, good help is hard to find."

Cheval will give you time to think about it, but the tldr; she'd like to title you a Magi or Lord of sorts- an officiary title that would... "Change" the playstyle of the game. The Shift would make personal little details less demanding, allow you to command and control larger forces, (it would even lead to new regions) but would tie you down to obvious responsibilities quotas- no more wandering around directionless.
You should give it some serious thought. Not all changes would be immediate, obviously. Think of it as a shift from action rp to strategy-building rp'ing.

Either way, you and the Twins try and feed the birds, maybe they'll bring some news on their dulcet southern voices.

>Find Able and Adrienne to snuggle between to soothe our wounded pride, and perhaps introduce those twins to our twins.
>11- Weird but good snuggles.

The """Adults""" seem to be done talking because when you've wandered off to be an angsty teen you're met by Abel of Rot and Adrienne of the Pit: who's as thrilled to see and hold you as they've always been. "Hello my little prince~ " You grab hold of both of them, they simply MUST meet the Flesh Golem Twins you've made.
When they're all together, they all seem to get a long on the basis of how much they like you. The double twins are truly terrible for your ego as they all sandwich around you and say the things they like most about you. Adrienne in particular taking this opportunity to learn more nitty and gritty personal details about you... Maybe a couple things you think are a little weird to talk about.
Abel's just kinda hanging out. You worry about Abel, but they assure you they're fine, just, y'know- just content.

>>2675311
>Roll 12- Why not ask Abel? They're kind of in charge of public health?

Actually, while you've got Abel of the Rot with you, you ask them if they've heard anything about any Outbreaks or sick people? Goblins? Pugs?
"Well everyone in Pug is in some varying stage of sickness.. This place is just that filthy, but I wouldn't consider them suffering? Orcs are pretty tough." She can't speak for the Goblins though- "Who knows what the Goblins are up to, there's just too many of them to keep track of really."
Hhmmn..

>Find out what the Hag wanted to give us.
>Roll 13- It's something good, but SUpErNaTuRaL.

Something tells you though you should hurry off to take care that Hag and Sick people business though: could be interesting or annoying if ignored.
You politely cut off your reunion with Cheval's a little early and head out of town and due north east on the first cloud you can pull together- zipping away with your Twins who're still quite excited about flying.
Even before you arrive you pick up quite a thick sweet STINK coming from their lair... You only hope it isn't part of the gift they have in mind. Also there's another Hag- bit older than the daughters, but younger than the Mother... Maybe her sister? The best word to describe her would be 'long'- she looks like someone stretched her out on a board.
They're out here butchering dozens of bodies: hanging them, cooking them, it's too hot to do it inside. They seem nervous to see you, but not frightened. You ask what exactly all these bodies are about.
The Mother speaks up, "Don't worry sweetie: they were already dead when we found them. We were going to bundle some up and it to you since we thought you might be interest- " Okay, but, where did you..

The tall one speaks up, "People crossing out of the Rotwood, honey. Loads of them. Waste not want not." She's like a palm tree with tits.

Accepting new actions.

The Mother offers a more elaborated upon explanation when pressed for details. "I'm sorry honey, we don't know if they were Undead or not, just that lots of 'people' have been coming out of the Rotwood out west: sickly, putrid, falling like flies one after another. We haven't been asking questions- just taking the bodies." By the looks of it they've been quite busy not-so-little grave robbers.

>11 and 13- literally the best rolls you'd want when dealing with Hags.

The Tall practically takes one step over and -from a safe distance- tosses you over the bundle of parts. You thank her, but ask the other Hags if there's anything magical or paranormal they might be able to teach you or tell you about. This is a mistake. Asking anything of Hags is a mistake. They now know that 'you' want something from them: this will compromise your control over them as they will most likely try to take advantage of that if they can.
The uhh... The Tall one hasn't stepped back. She's just kind of squatting and tracing your body with her gaze, she doesn't look hungry, just curious. She meets your gaze, focusing on your eyes before she lifts her claw and points to you, "Would you show me your hands, please?" You.. Yeah, sure. You raise your much smaller hands: showing her front to back.
The corners of her mute face crack a very small satisfied smile and she rises back up on those bamboo shoot legs of hers- heading over and into the lair.
There's a brief domestic whisper-shouting match between the Mother and the Tall one ignoring her, but quick as she left she's out with a "care package": wrapped in skin.
She strides over to you- anymore and you'd fear her hairy crotch might bite your head off, so she keeps a comfortable distance and carefully palms you the hide package.
"Here's a real gift. I'm sorry for how my Sister and her spoiled children have behaved."

You take the package and with it in your hands- starting rotting it just a bit in real time as a show of force: it sizzles, turns black, you're strong and have enough control that it doesn't even putrefy.. Hags are a paranormal creature/species not a job description (getting into the how and why might be too meta), but there's a lot you can potentially learn from them (in the Rot & Spirit Domains) if you're willing to be... Evil.

An (un)pleasant surprise?
It's been a wild ride regardless. I'm kind of on the fence about talking Cheval up on the lordship thing. Though I certainly want to make a dungeon town around our farmhouse lair. How well would flesh golems get along with humans and centaurs? Would we even likely be able to attract human and centaur migrants out here? I mean like how far away is the nearest such settlement? Is it common for dungeon towns to be controlled by the person that made the dungeon?
>>
>>2675743
Flesh golems could be made to look like anything, so I guess they'll get along as we make them too?

You're pretty far from home: that was kind of the point since where you came from Necromancy is extremely illegal.. Hell, it'd be illegal here if """normal""" people were in the majority.
Either way it's very unlikely that Cheval wants you to necessarily attract or rule over normal people if anything you should be taking maybe note of how seemingly "eager" she is to see you as Dark Lord Magi and start ruling: even if it's still kind of ye oldish times people aren't typically jumping at the bit to crown teenagers.

You'll have to figure that out for yourself, Anon! But I'm pretty sure someone you already know may know something about that..

>>2675772
>back home where the character came from, who typically enforced the laws? how tough are paladins?

I can always answer "Back home" questions for the record. It would be silly if you didn't know about your own life.
-Paladins weren't so bad. They actively cared about the redemption of evil and if they thought they could 'save' you, they would. If you got caught by a Paladin you most likely would have been chained, tattooed, and sent to a monastery to be a good boy.

-WITCH HUNTERS though would have killed you. They walk the path of exterminating evil and their line of work attracts a lot of impatient people who want easy solutions to satisfy their vindictive moral desires.

What kind of family did we have, apart from our abusive father? What was our mother like? Did we have siblings? Any childhood friends?

>>
>>2675793
>is dragon fucking an option or are they feral?
Yes. Extremely low odds, but there be actual Dragons out there somewhere.
I wouldn't recommend trying to bring a Dragon into our life though, like, a """real""" meme-approved Dragon is one of the most powerful creatures (tied with a Sphinx) and would.. Makes things very complicated. For everyone.

>>2675802
>What kind of family did we have, apart from our abusive father? What was our mother like? Did we have siblings? Any childhood friends?

You were raised by your Mother, your abusive Father and your Uncle (your Mother's Cousin). You had three siblings but none of them survived childhood- this largely turned your Father abusive as you were the runt of the litter and he didn't find that amusing.
You were taught Necromancy by your Grandfather (on your Father's side) before he was taken and burned. Something your Father didn't find amusing either.
>>
>>2675805
What I meant was I would like to probe their brains after killing them if we had the misfortune of encountering one.
To defeat/defend ourself from paladins and witch hunters, we need to think like them. They would probably have a lot of anti-magic stuff, so we would rely heavily on maybe spirit stuff (astral projection), Seance and psyche stuff.
We also need to ask someone how to swing our wraith sword good. Our two hobgoblins might be able to help.

>>2675808
Maybe if we get enough good boy points from the gods (Scylla for example) their paladins might give us a little breathing room. Which still might amount to them chasing us but to less effectiveness?

I want to research a means to produce miasma flakes<fragments<shards on the fly because of the affects of the protect from good/evil spell. Likes, we can get mana poisoning from too much magic juice? I assume we're always shedding miasma as a natural mechanism so we don't get magic poisoning.
AllI'im trying to say is if we get a long lasting spell that suppresses our miasma then I want to prevent getting sick from mana build up.
>>
>>2675817
as an aspiring fuckomancer we have to fuck a dragon at some point. a pump and dump should be fine right? a one night stand?

what else can you tell us about the siblings and how they died? Did witch hunters kill grandpa or paladins? Can we seance grandpa or maybe even get pieces of him to talk to his ghost? I want to get his opinion on us.
>>
>>2675817
I kind of don't even want to kill our father at this point. I mean compared to how far we've come he just seems so... small. I mean sure we can HATE him, but kill him? I think we're better than that now. He's just same lame ass normy and a bully, while we've gone on to do so much.
>>
>>2675836
I still want to kill him, but at the very least I want to turn him and and his dick smaller.

>>
>>2675842
>>2675836
>>2675825

You honestly make a committed effort not to think about Grandpa. You can take revenge on EVERYONE that's wronged you.
I haven't been neglectful- you just want to let him rest. He lived through a lot and died a very painful death. Even if he'd be proud to see you, you'd rather meet him in the fields of arcadia when you're a wrinkled old man than risk disturbing his (albeit forced) peace.

You are, though, quietly beginning to waver on your goal to kill your father, but only on the basis of not wanting to torture him and merely just wanting to discreetly pop in one day to Rot him to dust so he can't hurt anyone again.
>>

>>
>>2675856
I mean, it'd be a lot of work... And probably like 80% of those people in that country are just scared dumb peasants like we were trying to live their lives. Also after seeing what some one fucking up with necromancy can do to a region like the Rotwood, it's understandable for people to be wary of necromancy. And with bad apple necromancers running doing shit like our shadow self was that just makes them more jumpy and scared. Still they were real dicks and over reactive. Fucking mob mentality.

Arcane was, so basically Wizards & Enchanters were next on the chopping block.
You can imagine this caused a lot of very rich and powerful people to be inconvenienced, so, as much as the church and the opinionated city folk they've outraged to their cause wish to get rid of them: everyone with money (I.E- anyone who matters) is putting the breaks on that development.
