Sunny finds the band incredibly easy to shimmy under. Before too long she's able to start gnawing at it. It tastes rubbery and unpleasant.

Between frantic gnawing Sunny shouts across the room to see if she gets any response. A male voice asks if the strap was really that loose. Sunny is making halfway decent progress with her gnawing.

No i'm not alright. First there was the acident on the room oposite to mine. Then there was shooting and that monster thing that started to chase me and...oh god it killed the guard and it could have killed me too. Also i fainted hearing the sound of guns going off just to wake up tied up by a stranger. SO NO! I'M NOT OKAY!!!

Sunny shouts that she is absolutely not alright. Since she's woken up this morning everything seems to have either tried to kill her or wanted to kill her. She has barely any idea where she is, who she is, or why she can only see through cameras. Before the man has a chance to answer any of her questions Sunny continues saying that she would very much like to be untied and given something to eat since she can't even remember the last time she's eaten anything. The man sighs, seemingly relieved and reintroduces himself as Mark, he attended to Sunny last night, he says. Mark says he'll gladly untie her, he just wanted to make sure she hadn't gone crazy like all the others have.

Sunny asks why she should trust that HE hasn't lost it. Mark dryly replies that only the patients seem to be affected, and besides, if he was crazy she probably wouldn't be in such a good spot right now.

Sunny apologizes for her rudeness and mourns the loss of her extension cord, seeing that it had been used to bind her to the pipe. Mark says he was hoping to get some answers from Sunny about what was going on, thinking her packing a bag was in preparation for this, but after looking at its content he states he has no reason to suspect her. Sunny asks him what he has to eat around here, but is too shy and embarrassed by her outburst compliment his ass.

Sunny retells her story to Mark in a more calm and comprehensive manner. She asks who was in room 106 and how Mark can be here, when she saw what seemed to be him also burnt in the room. Mark explains that room 106 held a volunteer for the "Military Applications of Pyrokinesis" project and the body she saw in the room must have been his replacement . His shift ended shortly after bringing Sunny the blankets and he went straight to bed. He suggests finding Dr. Greene if she wants any actual answers.

Mark says Dr. Greene should be in the Lab area of R&D, the entrance hallway is mostly just rooms for research assistants and low ranking staff. Currently he's waiting for Beta Unit to give the all clear before leaving his room again, but it's admittedly been quite a long time since they headed for the labs and told him to stay put. Also that drone came through and made quite a racket.

Looking at the room tag it says it's the 210 room were the dead man is and our current room is the 209 room.

Well if there is someone that burn people and the mad drone i think we shouldn't stay here for to long. Also how long is it to long do you have a watch with you? You seem pretty calm with everything that is happening you know? Sunny starts feeling a little uncomfortable about Mark's contentedness and her own lack of information and prepares for an intensive interrogation. Mark sits at his desk and asks Sunny to get a little closer and stop talking into the wall, she's starting to creep him out a little. From Mark Sunny learns that the Beta Unit entered the lab at about 9 AM, Mark didn't hear anything going on in the hallway until about an hour later when someone started moving a bunch of furniture around. Of course Mark didn't check, he was doing as he was instructed. Maybe half an hour or so later he heard the drone scratching around the hallway, but assumed it was sent to assist Beta Unit and ignored it. Sunny started making an alarming racket around 11 AM so Mark went to investigate, tranquilized her, and now it's 2 PM and Beta Unit is still in there.

Mark says Sunny's patient file had her listed as volunteering in March. It is in fact June 2010.

Sunny suggests that she carry around Mark's laptop as a form of "portable camera." Unfortunately Mark says the battery is broken and it only works when it's plugged in. Sunny notices the chewed up extension cord. Damn.

Sunny asks Mark what he plans to do if Beta Unit just happened to be torn to shreds or burst into flames and not come back. Mark says he didn't really get that far ahead in his plan. He was hoping they'd show up soon, but it's a good thing he's still got a couple rounds left in his pistol.

Sunny lets Mark know that the [RD208] camera is taped over and whoever was in [RD210] has hung themselves. Mark looks at the camera in his room and the camera on his laptop. He doesn't understand what those numbers and letters mean, the rooms in this hallway are assigned letters, not numbers.

Sunny stuffs the frayed cable into the bag and grabs the pipe. The pipe is long and heavy, but Sunny can heft it easily enough in two hands.

Sunny hits the crack in the wall awkwardly with the pipe, calling it a "crack pipe" in the process. The wall just loses some drywall and Mark sounds unimpressed and concerned.

Sunny takes the magazines and stuffs them into her bag. She notes that currently it contains the hand mirror, plastic gift card, metal 105 keycard, frayed extension cord, two magazines, and one plastic cup. Mark offers two packages that he says are protein bars, Sunny puts them in the bag too. The duo prepares to move into the hallway.

Nothing new shows up on any cameras, no new cameras either. Sunny informs Mark that the elevator broke after she got to this floor so if there was any other way to get... whichever direction out is now would be the time to say it. Mark says that the lab has more elevators and the elevator she came from doesn't even connect to the main part of the facility. He suggests that they head that way unless Sunny has any other ideas.

Mark says that this place wasn't designed to be easy to leave and cites everything Sunny's experienced up to this point as evidence. However; he assures Sunny that a quick jaunt through the lab should see them well on their way.

Sunny cycles the cameras after she leaves the sight of the hallway camera. The only new camera is the door to the lab, but that's not exactly useful. Sunny lets Mark know she can't see anything relevant and is more or less blind for the time being. Mark asks if she's going to be alright, the lab isn't that far away from where they are now.

Mark says it's a fairly easy to navigate hallway. Sunny could easily just lean against the wall and they'd be there in no time. Sunny doesn't hear anything to suggest Mark reacted to her request.

Sunny whines at Mark that if she was FAT he would hold her hand and probably a lot of other parts of her too. Sunny drags herself along the wall. Mark stammers that it's not like that at all and Sunny says she's just kidding. Mark doesn't sound amused and the two of them continue down the hallway.

Sunny cycles through the other cameras and tells Mark that the hall camera was acting strange for a moment. Nothing strange appears on the other cameras. Mark suggests Sunny watch their back using the hall camera until they get to the lab door.

Mark acknowledges Sunny's distress and finally grabs her hand, much to Sunny's delight and comfort. She tells him that the cameras are displaying a rather unsettling message in place of the usual identification. Mark says he isn't sure what exactly would be causing them and advises Sunny to ignore the messages. When Sunny tells Mark about what appeared to be several fetuses wearing breathing apparatuses he tells her that, to his knowledge, there is currently no research or testing taking place on infants, fetuses, or any other form of baby. Sunny feels a little better having discussed the matter with Mark. Mark appears on the lab entrance camera.

Keep away from the plants. Ignore the messages. Don't do anything to sudden with Mark. He is currently our only ticket out of here, and whatever is sending those messages is most likely the same thing that also had the drone kill the guard back there. Whatever this place is, it is not, to our knowledge, a normal medical/research facility.

Ask Mark if there is a possibility of something dangerous being kept in lab 2, Or if something could have gotten in.

Matter of fact, ask him what sort of dangerous stuff is even in this place. First we have a guy that explodes, an armed response squad, a killer robot, and security cameras that are sending weird messages that we are going to ignore due to them most likely being a bait into a trap. It's not like we don't trust him, we would just want to know what we could potentially face.
