You stifle a giggle as you look around the spartan room for a place to hide, under the bed is taken by Panacea (you having stuffed her there) and there isn't exactly anywhere else to hide.

Wait a minute

You quickly scramble up into a corner of the roof, bladed shoes and pocket knife deployed to hold you in place. Now all they have to do is not look up and you're sorted.

You see the new Ward from earlier, the one with the smiley pin. He comes into the room and looks around before exiting, calling for Panacea in stage whispers.
"Huh, guess she took a break or something. It's way too late for this."
His voice is strange, deep and clearly electronic. Most likely due to something in his helmet.
Now you've had a look at him, you can take a proper look at his costume, and pick out what appear to be guns strapped to his sides with holsters. That's pretty fucking weird for a ward.
Especially what appears to be a bandoleer of shotgun shells wrapped around his chest. He looks more like some edgy action movie star than a Superhero.

If he wasn't so short it'd actually be really intimidating.
After a second or so he leaves, absentmindedly flicking the holster on his right. A few minutes later you stick your head out the door and make sure that the coast is clear.
