"Well that's great, gonna' tell me why I'm just NOW finding this out?" You ask, and the Royal pair looked shamefully at one another. You panic...wondering if this meant you were actually your universe’s Vegeta. No. You would not become like that pompous, showboating jerk. Zarbon was a prince too, but - both had been twisted by Frieza and neither really said, ‘Prince’ to you when you looked at them.

“We’re sorry, Gyro. We wanted to tell you long ago but - many things happened.” The King answered.

“What things?” You suddenly stand, slamming your hands down on the table and surprising everyone on your side. “How exactly did you lose me? HOW?!” You felt your blood boil, the table began to crack and you caught your reflection in a nearby mirror. You...looked exactly like Jyroh did when he had his outburst during your ‘tea time’. You fall back on your seat and feel a hand close around your own...it was Vados and she squeezed your hand gently, but you could feel she was being gentle. The angelic woman could easily vaporize you with less effort but she only smiled and you felt your anger lift and you look back to your so called ‘parents’.

“There was a coup-d'etat…” The Queen frowned. “You and your sister were shepherded away, many fine men and women died so that you two may live.” She looked down and you felt a wave of guilt wash over you. You did not like it when people died, especially if it was for you. Men and women who died for you..and you didn’t even know their names. Infact...you didn’t even know your parent’s name.

“...What...are your names?” You ask and the pair of them look at one another, before smiling and saying to you,

“I am Jove.” Your father said, giving a polite half bow to you in his seat.

“I am Juno.” Your mother answered.

“Jove...Juno…” So those were the name of your parents. Huh. You look to Kami, and looks back to you with a neutral expression. Did he know?

"The elite guards." You gesture to the Commander, who stood at attention. "They have strange weapons. What are they?" You ask, remembering the close shave you got with one of those swords.

"They are our salvation." Jove answered you, and snapped his fingers and raised his hand up. One of the guards knelt and raised a sheathed blade to him. Pulling the sword from it's scabbard, a translucent, almost crystal like saber glowing with blue veins through it's blade. "In our time of need, we found an ore that is pure concentrated energy from the Planet. The guards have a version forged with normal metals, but this blade was made with purely the ore itself." He explains, and then sat the blade down on the table.

"Oh!" Vados said, quite interested in the sword. "This is quite a sight indeed, and it's singing!" She clapped her hands together in delight and picked up the sword. Indeed when she held the sword close to you, there was high pitched tune that seemed to be on the edge of your range of hearing.

"We call it Heranite." Juno said, holding up a scepter that had the same bluish-green glowing metal at the end. "We were able to mine it, forged weapons and took back our kingdom."

"Where did you mine this ore?" You ask, a suddenly coldness filling your stomach.

"Some miles north of here. In the wastelands, beyond where our people could inhabit safely. We found a large cavern..." The King explained, "We used it for shelter, to hide and recover. We never expected to find a miracle." He said and Vados handed him back the blade, which he sheathed. "If you wish to see how we forge it, our royal blacksmith would be happy to show you. Although the ore we discovered has been running low..."

"I would very much like to see this smithing process" You answer, then took a long drink from the nearest goblet. Meanwhile Kami ate in silence, while Miss. Fortune - well she was gone. Never one to stay in one place for long, you could sense she was moving about the castle now. "I would also like to see this cavern sometime."

"Oh yes, Master Vulcan would be honored to meet with you and we can take you to the cavern later if you wish" Juno said, your mother and father both almost beaming with joy at your curiosity. "Is there anything else you'd like to see?" She asked hopefully. "Perhaps your old room?"

"...Maybe." You answer, but look you slowly began to eat to distract yourself. The food was - well really damn good. You couldn't help but fill you belly, and Vados ate beside you, and held up a delicious morsel at the end of her fork.

"You must try this Gyro!" Blowing on it, you nervously ate the food - as the sudden realization hit you. You were having your first real date - chaperoned by your parents and adopted father. The taste of cheeses and cooked pork was almost as divine as the angel feeding it to you.

"Mmmmh?" Asked Vados.

"Mmm!" You answer.

"Once we heard you we were arriving we got the best chefs in all of Hera make this banquet." King Jove held up a goblet. "A toast. The prodigal son has returned." The King held up his cup and you all clink your drinks together. Things were going smoothly at least...

When you finish, Kami and the King tell you that they must speak in private. While your mother was happy to escort you and Vados to a tour of the castle. Taking you to the smithy first, there you found giants of men, even bigger then you in your 'Brutal Form' working with Hera-seijin who were even smaller then Chiaotzu. They all worked together in a large smithy, the heat was intense, the loud noises of metals banging together. The hissing of the heated swords going into water, and more clanging and clacking.

"Ah. My Queen. How may I be of service?" A scarred and very hairy Hera-seijin asked. With a large katchin hammer he was working on a small blue piece of ore, working it into the shape of a small knife. His left arm was also a prosthetic made entirely of metal and moved as if it were real...

Sidenote: Vulcan Smith here looks like a mixture between Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop and Panthro from the new Thunder Cats. So I'll be using them to represent him.

I also look forward to Masako's what ifs. They are great material for the Quest. As you've already seen with your visit to the U7: R&Rverse.

Gohan learning Kaioken much younger then his Briefs counterpart was because little Gohan not only got a fruit of might boost but help from all the Z-fighters who were still alive thanks to Gyro. So his body and mind were much more prepared.

I did like he gave Trunks a bit of darker impulse. Yes, he didn't act on it but it's that bit of Saiyan Saga Vegeta in Trunks that was rather interesting.

I was kinda hoping he'd branch off and have Mirai Gohan Briefs return but that could still happen.

Also interesting was that Bulma and Goku actually had tension in their relationship and Bulma was tempted by Vegeta.

Maybe you'll visit this time-line, or perhaps meet Good Nappa.

Or....you could even enter the Tournament that's being set up for all the what-ifs.

In fact you'll be meeting a lot interesting characters from fan works, especially when your a God.

Xicor, Rigor, and maybe a certain magic user from DB: Multiverse.

You stare at one of the pieces of raw Heranite ore. Entranced by it, you step towards the glowing deposit of solid energy. The very life energy of the planet was crystallized and sitting before you. You go to touch it, and feel a surge of power go up your arm, through your body and your aura briefly flashed around you.

"Whoah!" You pull your hand back, and your entire arm tingled as if had been asleep. Flexing your hand, you see paths of blue veins of chi go up your arm, before fading away.

"That is why we wear gloves, lad." Vulcan said, tossing you a pair. "Raw Heranite is dangerous if you try touching it too long. The power inside jumps to any form of container it can find. When we forge the ore, then it becomes safer to touch. Well as long as your not on the business end of the weapon." The grizzled black smith then took the ore with his metallic arm and the metal hand began to glow bright red as he heated the heranite up and then began to hammer it with his black hammer.

"This..this power." You say, looking at the collection of glowing stones among the smithy. "Vados...what is this?" You ask finally.

"Think of it as simply calcified parts of Earth's life energy. Hardened under pressure, thanks to the katchin metal found on your world and it's particular level of gravity. To little and it simply remains as energy in static form. Too much and the ore itself breaks down and returns to the planet. Planet Hera it seems is in the perfect - well sweet spot." She explained, and you - kind've get it?

"So these calcified deposits, it's good we're mining it?" You ask, and Vados nodded.

"Indeed. The planet of Hera cannot used this 'Heranite' while it remains in solid form. So breaking it apart and using pieces to forge it into materials, and allowing the unused pieces to return to the world does indeed mean it is 'good'." Vados watched fascinated as Vulcan finished his next pair of items.

"So in a way, we're recycling." Vulcan chuckled, and held up something that surprised you both. "Here. My gift to the lovely couple." Opening his metal hand, the artificial arm cooled and he revealed what he had been working on...

Anywho we're back!

Vulcan cooled the rings in a bucket of water. Steam hissed and he raised the rings to both of you. Vados bowed, and graciously accepted her ring.

"Oh, thank you Master Vulcan. It is absolutely lovely!" She exclaimed and looked over at you. You look at the ring in the palm of your hand, you frown and worriedly look over to Vados.

"I-I uhh...." You blush, closing your hand around it. "I didn't plan this..." You did not want Vados thinking you wanted to move so fast..this was your first date after all!

"It's quite alright, it is a gift and it would be rude to refuse." Vados took the ring from your hand and slipped it on your ring finger. The ring felt warm, and you took the ring from her hand and slid it on her slender, pale blue ring finger. When you did, you felt a connection snap into place. Almost like an empathetic link between you and Vados thanks to the rings you now wore. The angel looked to you and her face tinged red. "Oh my, Gyro...do you really feel that way about me?" She asked, and you could sense delight, curiosity and...desire?

"I..uh...huh." You look at the ring and back to her...before nodding several times.

"Aren't you simply the sweetest." Vados leaned over, giving you a peck on the cheek.

"Alright love birds." Vulcan chuckled and then handed you a piece of parchment. "Here's a map to the Heranite Cavern. Show the guards this seal and they'll allow you inside." On the back of the map was a symbol that appeared all across the Planet of Hera. The royal seal, possibly as it was even on your parent's outfits. A simple symbols that could be made in four strokes and reminded you of a Sai. Remaining silent in her observation, Queen Juno smiles at you as you look at the Royal Seal.

"Thank you Vulcan, for the rings and the map." You say, giving the older smith a bow.

"Of course, Master Gyro. Is there anything else you need?

>A. "No, thank you. This is quite enough for now."

"Vados, what would you like to do?" You ask, and the white haired, blue skinned celestial thought for a moment.

"Well I am curious about this cavern, but..." Vados raised her hand up and directed it around, "I'm very interested in learning more about your home, Gyro."

"Oh. Well. Me too."

"Well, I'd be happy to show you more of our ancestral home. Would you like to hear about our family history, Lady Vados?" Juno asked, and your date nodded.

"Yes, I very much would. I've been curious about the Race of Hera ever since the Oracle Fish's prophecy. Not simply about the 'Super God' but about your people, history and the like. Even my brief time here, I've learned so many fascinating new things." Vados winked to you, and you were sure you were in a complete state of blushing now. "Tell me more about your family - and this revolution that broke it apart for some time."

"Well you know the ending but I shall start at the beginning." The three of you left the smithy, walking among the vast halls of the castle. Juno directed you to a portrait of two individuals. One of whom looked like Jyroh, but without the madness, the other was - well she seemed familiar but you couldn't quite place why.

"Is that who I think it is?" Vados asked, pointing to the woman in the painting with her staff.

"Ohohoho, I had no idea you were related to the Shinjin! That explains the divine energy dormant within you." Vados was excited by this, and you could feel through the ring.

"...Neither did I." You answer, looking over to your mom. You had a lot of questions already but she continued on.

"Cybele lead our people in a prosperous age. She was the bridge between Hera and the Otherworld..." You all continued to walk..pausing to stop at a tapestry of Hera. A red star was emblazoned above the planet, and in the story you saw as the Queen of Hera sacrifice herself against the red star. "When the Falling Red Star came to our world, Cybele gave her life so that her children, our ancestors could live. She had seen if it had hit our world, it would have become infected and corrupted by it like a parasite..."

"She sacrificed herself for the world..." You raise your hand, touching the tapestry and wondered what she was like. "After that - your order, the Guardians of Hera was established by Lady Hera to prevent her descendants from having to do so again."

"Heh. Bet she never expected me or sis to become one?" You chuckled a little, trying to lighten the mood but bit your lip when Juno looked away from your eyes.

"This is very fascinating. Please tell me more." Vados inquired and so Juno began to detail the lines of succession. Going down the line until you arrived to modern day.

"Oooooh, baby Gyro is so cute!" Vados pinched your cheek, and you took the embarrassment head on. "Look, your sister is here too." You don't remember ever seeing your sister this young. She wore a pretty pink dress, and she held the hand of - wait who was that?

"Who's this?" You point to a man who you felt like you knew...He had red hair and greenish skin, he looked more like the Full Powered Hera-seijin that you saw and briefly used...

"That is - " You could tell she was fighting back some strong emotions. "...that was your brother and heir to the throne..."

"I remember him.." You say, walking up to the potrait. "He was with me and Kado. Until she left to go climb the Tower of Light and train with Kami..." You then turn to to your mother as the key word she spoke made you pause. "What do you mean 'was'?"

"..." Juno was silent, folding her arms together as she looked away from you.

"Mother. What do you mean 'was' ? Tell me. Please." You state, going up to her and laying your hands on her shoulder. "What happened to my brother, Shugeki?"

"...He...He's dead. He died protecting you and Kado."

"What? No. No, that's impossible. I remember...he was with me. For a long time." You stumble back, your felt your head swimming and would have fallen if not for Vados catching you.

"Not immediately, no but he sustained injuries from that night...they were mortally wounding." You see her pull down a curtain, revealing another tapestry. A burning version of the castle you now stood in. Your mother and father fled north with as many as they could, while your sister and yourself were taken southward by - Shougeki. He looked like a pin cushion with all the arrows on his back. All to protect you and Kado. You clenched your fists, anger overwhelming you.

"Who... Who did this!?" You ask, pointing to a dark figure in the midsts of the the chaos. "Who killed my brother?!"

"We do not know. Whoever enacted this movement, and moved people to attack us vanished as quickly as he came. He wielded dark magicks and his energy was sickeningly evil. The only person who ever saw him was your brother and sister, but she may have been too young to remember." You touch the picture of the brother you never truly knew. He had been your protector, your guardian and you never even knew what happened to him, or could given a chance to thank him.

"Gyro...Gyro it's okay." Vados said, but you shook your head.

"No. No it's not..The last time I saw him..I was so mad. I was so angry he let Kado leave me. I - ...oh by the Kai's...I never had the chance to say I was sorry."

"Gyro...I'm sure he knew your angry was temporary.. Your brother loved you and your sister more then anything else." You bow your head, a sense of guilt and unworthiness rushing through you. Vados could feel through the connection you two now shared and simply held you in her arms. You turned, and hugged back...before looking up and donning a serious expression.

"Gyro... Son. Are you okay?" Juno's concern was nice but it did not quell the burning rage in your chest. "What are you planning?" The idea your brother, went off somewhere to die like a gutted rabbit in a thicket all while he thought you were mad at him...it broke your heart but most of all it filled you with a new purpose.

"Gyro. I know your upset, and what happened was a tragedy but do not let this grief consume." Queen Juno spoke softly but her words of wisdom cooled off some of your anger. "Your brother...he would be so proud of you."

"..." You look down, saying nothing until Vados her search.

"Oh? Well that's odd. I checked with Queen Yemma and no one named Prince Shugeki checked in." Vados tilted her head, looking at you and Juno. "Are you sure he died?"

"Y-yes. We found his body on our doorsteps the day he died." Juno looked down, her hands folding together. "..He had a smile on his face. Even in the end. We buried him with his family...I can take you to his grave." Juno said, looking past you and behind the castle itself. "I visit it everyday, leave flowers for him, and tend to it. "

"Someone with sufficient clairvoyance should be able to see what transpired." She explained. You knew your sister had the gift of foresight but something told you not to ask her right now. She had her reasons why she never told you this...

"There is someone you can speak too." Your mother said. "The Seer, Pythia. Your aunt and my sister." She said, and the family tree just seemed to get bigger and bigger to you. "She lives on Mount Parnassus, in a sanctuary called 'Delphi'."

"I know that mountain.." You answer, turning your head southward, you had lived near it all your life but you had only thought the seer was a myth. "Any more surprises mom?" You ask, and the Queen thought for a moment.

"Nothing comes to mind at the moment. However, Jove does need to speak with you about something very important." She answered. You were both relieved and worried at the same time.

"I'll head out later, first I wish to see more of the castle." Taking your time, Juno gave you the tour around each section of the royal building. You got a good idea of the place but you could not move yourself to visit your old room, or that of your siblings just yet. Maybe later, but for now you had other plans. "I need to speak with my Fath-" You bite your lip, and opposing thoughts crashed together. You had always accepted your mentor, Kami to be your 'Dad' but you were also fine with the revelation that you were the son of royalty. It was a shock, but then again you were going to become a Guardian. What is a King to a God after all? "I need to talks to my Dads." You finally assert, and Queen Juno raised an eyebrow but did not correct you. Tracing the ki signatures of Kami and the King you arrive to a meeting room, the last place you had yet to visit.

"Oh, Gyro. Good your here...we have much to discuss." King Jove said, nodding to you.

"Hurm. Yes...the news you have given me is troubling..." Kami said, turning to you and smiling but noticed your grim expression. "Gyro? What is the matter, son?" He asked.

"...I had a brother." You answer and Kami caught the important word, 'had' and stepped towards you.

"Are you okay?" Asking softly, you look down and shake your head.

"No...I'm not ok." You shake your head, "I never got to know him. To thank him, and now...I think even after his death he might be in danger." You wanted to help your brother go to the after life he deserved, or save his soul from whatever torment it is now. Atleast the knowledge of what happened would help.

"What?" Jove asked, but Juno stepped in and quietly explained things as Kami brought you up to speed. Vados stood by a nearby table that had a map of Hera on it.

"What's going on?" You ask and notice that the map itself was set up to look like - a game? There were tiny figurines set up, small soldiers in gigantic suits of armor fighting large, monstrous brutes.

"Oh, just a game we play..." Kami smiled, as he slid some of the figurines around. "I didn't know the king played BATTLEAXE, but that's not what we need to talk about. Gyro...Planet Hera is in trouble."

"From what?" Vados asked, curious now.

"We don't know yet, but the Seer of Delphi sent a message that arrived shortly after we did. She had a prophecy that in one year - Planet Hera will face a cataclysm that will be an extinction level event."

"Like ...the Red Star." You remembered the tapestry, how Cybelle sacrificed herself to save the lives of all Hera.

"Hm. So you have been paying attention to your history lessons..." Kami smiled, teasingly and you rub the back of your head and laugh a little.

"We...were actually hoping you could help us Gyro. We know you intend to train intensely for the intergalactic tournament, but this threat may be greater then whatever challenge you might face there. So, once you return we intend to focus on figuring out what this threat is and dealing with it together." King Jove answered.

"...but not every problem's answer is to punch it. As much as I like to try. What if this is some super disease, or someone like Lord Champa?" You respond, and your royal father shook his head.

"The warning was vague, but an individual is the threat. A nameless terrible being drenched in the blood of billions of galaxies. It is the most feared individual in all of the cosmos, nothing can stop it, or reason with it. One day it will drop from the sky and tear our world asunder."

"...and you want me to punch it?" You ask, raising an eyebrow.

"...Well you are the strongest Hera-seijin on Hera. We cannot rely on asking for Lady Vados or Lord Champa's help as it is not apart of their duties to deal with such matters." Kami said, respectfully nodding to Vados.

"Indeed. Whatever this thing is, unless it directly attacks myself or Lord Champa we will remain neutral. However, I will cheer for you Gyro-kun." She said, smiling almost - knowingly at you.

"Right. I get it. You've got your duties and I have my own." You nod, and she gave you a wink.

"That's right ~ but there is nothing in the rules saying I can't train you but you must get much stronger before your ready for my training. Perhaps as strong as you got in that little dream you had."

"Oh...you heard that...heh. Yeah..." You poke your fingers togethers and nod. "Right..."

"So. She knew...doesn't surprise me. She can see the future after all. Guess she and Auntie shared that gene." You shrug, but think over the prospect. "Can...I have time to think about it? There's a lot of new information hitting me and I need some time to process it."

"Of course Gyro. Take your time, bearing the weight of the crown will crush those who take it lightly. Simply showing this caution proves to me that you will be a great King." Jove's words were nice but - you weren't being cautious to be a King. You simply were just overloaded with so much, you almost got vertigo from the staggering amount of stuff coming at you.

"You still have that tournament, which we'll be watching and cheering for you here." Kami mentioned as he hit a tiny squat creature with a giant of a man. "Ha! Take that!"

"You killed my engineer - smart!" The King paused, before moving several pieces and the two went at their game, continuing the discussion.

"So. Gyro, this has been quite the date. Do you have anything to top this night off?" Vados asked, wrapping her free arm around your own.

There's - forcefields with crystals and...alright time to reveal a planned arc if you guys want...since U7 got's base ball. Well. For one anon, there's a special sport I'm going to introduce from a series that has floating water that's popular galactically for people who can swim well and hold their breath.

The fish and mer races are really good at it.

“Take the limo. I’d let you take one of the flashier cars but - do you know how to drive, son?” The King asked, and you shake your head. Why learn to drive when you could fly, run or jump good. “ I figured as much.” so you both waited before giving your good-byes. The Queen speaking softly to Vados and Fortune for a moment, privately while you stood before your two Dads and waited for the car to be brought out front for you both to use.

“So...Kami Dad and King Dad…” You laugh a little at the nickname but it was only to prepare for what you wanted to say next. “I just want to let you both know. I’m...happy this worked out.” You began but turned serious. “But...there’s a lot unanswered questions I have and I need both of you to be honest. My brother. He might still be out there in some shape or form. There’s also Kado’s vision of my death. I need to get stronger for that and - whoever this next threat is after that. I..saw how strong I can become if I meet my potential. If I go beyond that and become a Super God, then...I can truly be Hera’s protector, like the Guardians and Heroes before me.”

“I battled him.” King Dad answered. “He broke our ancestral sword with his magic, and gave me this scar by breaking off my own sword in my shoulder with his magic. He left the blade, but took the hilt.” He showed you a nasty piece of work on his chest. “Luckily he missed all my vital organs.”

“All of them?” You ask, louder then you’d normally would, but only out of surprise by the sight of the healed wound. It looked like it still would’ve hurt and taken a long time to heal.

“He gloated the entire time. Laughing at me. Said he was doing this whole thing for fun. Then I watched him rain down arrows on my sons and daughter...and I thought you were dead but Shugeki used himself as a shield and kept going. It surprised that..damn clown. I tried to snap his neck but I was thrown aside and blacked out. When I awoke, I was being carried by the Lord Commander.”

“A...clown?”

“He wanted to hear our screams and decorate the castle with fire and blood. He was mad, but very, very powerful.”

“...Do you think he’s what the prophecy is referring too? Him returning?” You ask, but Kami shakes his head.

“...I also faced this being as well but faired better. After I was Kami for only ten years. The clown, he killed my master, and predecessor but was banished into another a dimension. A torturous, dimension in limbo that was a zone of death. Even his soul would be trapped there if he died.” Assured Kami, frowning as he looked down. “The stress of sending him there and doing such an act was too unnatural for my master and he passed…” You frown, and cross your arms. Someone like that would no doubt be on the top of Fu’s list. A chaotic being like that could make a lot of changes if he somehow managed to retrieve and use this being. Not only did your brother die, but another Guardian lost your life to him in the process.

“...then he couldn’t possibly be the thing that somehow interrupted his soul from going to Yemma.” You would need to scry to truly see what had happened then or find more clues. So for now you moved on.

“Mmmh. Well the potara earrings didn’t completely fuse me with Prince Kai, so I must not qualify as a Supreme Kai.” You remember back to the time you had been the MIGHTY GAI. The experience had been amazing and it was the first time you felt God Ki to such great extent. - Maybe this why it was so much stronger?

“Sire...the limo is ready…” A servant said, bowing.

“Yes, enjoy yourself Gyro - but remember. Behave like the gentleman I know you are.”

“I’ll be on my best behavior…” You assure, but the ring tingled your entire hand as a strong emotion buzzed through. Attraction. You look over and see all three women entering from the room with Vados gliding up to you and taking your hand.

“I wonder what she was going to say…” Vados tilted her head out you, before both of you began laughing. The driver saying nothing by your sudden appearance, and simply started to drive. Vados and you sat in a moment of silence. Simply two passengers, on a date, and despite all the news today it still felt odd that Vados was ‘in’ to you.

“..Vados. Did you know about any of this? Your an angel, and like - really smart and wise. So - you have a perspective on a lot.”

“I am not omniscient, but - well I did have a hint of what you were. I knew Lady Hera. She and my father were good friends. She was even favored by Lord Zeno-sama. He always asked for her snacks and she would dote on him like a grandmother.”

“..So I’m related to her, huh. Cool.” You pause, before asking, “So, what happened to her?”

“She passed. Supreme Kai’s are long lived, but even they too pass on. She trained a successor, and they trained one, until so on and so forth until present. “ Vados sat back in her seat, looking out her window and looking at the city they passed. “Gyro. You fight for this world. I can see why you do. It is a beautiful home to have. Though I imagine you’d fight for anyone else’s world just as hard. You muttered that in your sleep as well...I think that is when I knew you were my correct choice for the next God of Destruction…”

“That and perhaps you’ll be a challenge for Lord Champa and make him lose his procrastinating ways. Either way both of you benefit from such relationship.” She handed you her staff and directed you to look at it. An image montage of Champa sleeping, over eating, and blowing up a bunch of worlds without even reviewing them.

The limo flew through the air, before rounding about to the entrance of the concert’s location. The driver opening the door for you, but you make sure to assist Vados out yourself. The two of you holding hands together, while the driver handed off to you not only takes but VIP backstage passes. Entering a large crowded area, of your fellow Hera-seijin, Brench tourists and a lot of other races, Vados easily navigates through the labyrinth of people...so far only the beginning acts were playing but the crowd was already enjoying itself…the two men on stage were rocking out. One wore blue and a red star on his chest, and the other...was a ninja flipping you all off.

"...." The man didn't say anything, but he seemed annoyed. Looking back at the stage, and then looking at a watch on a chain. The clock having a design of a golden record on the back. It was clear. The old man was a huge fan of the Crescendolls and not this other band. Though the black-red haze he emitted told you otherwise. No one else noticed it. You look to Vados, and she was looking at the man, frowning...

"He is not suppose to be here..." She stated, her voice cold.

"Yeah..I sense that. Should we take him out now, or wait until he makes his move and get him while he's open?" You say and Vados remained silent, looking at you and tapped her staff on your chest.

"The risk of collateral damage is higher here - but you could prevent him from what he plans but he could also have other contingencies in place. Attack, defend, do nothing. You have myriad of options both physically and internally but you must be the one to connect them to strategy and battle." She let go of you, and presented you with the options to do something. You had a lot...

First you needed to tighten the security. Creating Aether clones, you were given a surprise when the power pulsed outward, the ring you wore reacted. You created more clones then you intended, and several of the clones bumped into people, causing a minor mosh pit. You lost sight of the white haired man, but you focused and kept track of his energy. You could similar, but much weaker but still threatening. Like before, the ring - helped you spread your power out but this time you were prepared and could easily sense where each one was.

"Goku, Piccolo, Guru...C'mon on out!" You draw the two cards and hold your pendent, Goku's card lit up gold, Piccolo's turned red and Guru's turned white. Throwing each one out each one materialized before you. Fully charged, now that you got used to the ring, each one was as strong as you had last saw them. Goku smirked and gave you a thumbs up.

"Gyro, what's up!"

"We got an issue. Bad guy on the lose. Old man with bad juju. Lots of bad guys, my clones are providing security for the bands he's after."

"Hmm..." Guru looked around - and then vanished into the crowd. Piccolo frowned, floating upward and looking around.

Now you focus with you psychic skills - concentrating on the biggest point of dark power. It - It felt like Master Yami but this was - bad. Malevolence in pure incarnate. Your mind was pushed back, - and the evil force is now aware that you know of it. You fight to keep your thoughts from being read, throwing up mental barriers and illusions. The unseen power that the old man and many others channeled did not need - you had already shown it what you had done. Goku, Piccolo and Guru -and your clones. They would not stop it.

So fast that you nearly missed the real Danny moving but left behind a false version of himself that was taken hostage. The old possessed man did not seem to realize he was holding a dummy...but the ninja did.

The smaller groups in the crowd, they began to group together - and like your clones they merged. Turning into shadowy, monstrous versions of the man. Shadow Brutes. Your clones moved to intercept...

Whatever this thing was, it had made it's first and final mistake. It underestimated you. You clench your right fist, and power radiates through your arm and you stare at your hand as the ring helped to channel the power similar to the focused Kaioken technique. Smirking, the aura around your arm began to rapidly spin, until a drill like shape formed.

"RAAAAAAAGH!" One the black shadowy beasts, that looked more like a physical shadow then real tried to attack a young girl. You locked in on her ki, and popped infront of her. Your fist drilled through the beast's long black claws and punctured a hole through it's face. The force of the drill punch, ripping through it and into two more shadowy monsters. You look at your hand, now smoking from the force of the punch.

"I'm going to need a cool name for that Drill Punch..." You didn't have time- above the concert and descending from the sky was a colossal spaceship that slowly revealed itself from some sort of cloaking device. You couldn't sense any ki on board - except for that same dark, perversion of negative power. From it - came soldiers dressed in uniforms. Your clones were already upon them, striking them with a laundry list of moves you had.

"Wowee. I knew downloading music was bad, but this ridiculous!" Goku laughed, flying directly at the ship. "I'ma go punch'em!"

"Goku! We nee- I don't know why I even bother." Piccolo grunted, but divided up into three, the copies of him covering more ground to deal with the soldiers.

"Gyro..." Guru was suddenly next to you. He held up a backpack with an odd gun on it. "He attempted to use some sort of miasma on me. I stopped it but I felt you should know."

"Thanks Guru. And how have you liked being young again?" You asked, dodging a brute, and kicking it into the air. These things were no threat, but - that ship and the technology on board might.

"Oh, it is an interesting experience. I thought it only temporary - but I as normally as you would." He said, before looking up at the stage. "Well - it seems our problem maker has met with an issue..." You turned to look what Guru was referring to - and see just in time for Ninja Brian to well - oh God! - eviscerate the man. The shadow brutes vanished, and the soldiers looked at one another - before the Ninja locked onto them and - OH FU - your going to be sick...but the remains of the white haired man didn't stay a blooded, flayed, powdered boneless mess. A black and red mist rose from it, taking the shape of the man before turning into a much more sinister and larger version of the shades you took on. Ninja Brian shrugged his shoulders, flipped the thing off and a smoke bomb from his partner before a quick exit stage right...

"Piccolo!" You fly up and the three Namekians returned to one and flew next to you.

"What?" He asked, blasting away at the black and red immaterial beast but whatever he fired away quickly regenerated.

"Phantom Fusion!" You answer and Piccolo's face twisted into confusion.

"The hell is that?" He asked, but you started your one man dance. Only for Piccolo to get suddenly pulled away, before you can stop yourself your hand stops on - the Evil Shadow.

"Oh - SHI-" It surges into your arm - into body and soul. You hear screaming but it's not until you hit the ground that you understand. It's your voice that was doing the scream. Pain greater then even the Ultra Divine Water's effects poured into you, and your normal aura was infected with a black energy. "GAAAAH-AAAAH!" You struggle, reaching blindly into your deck holder, begging to whatever higher power that was out there to let you pull the right card...

"Gyro!" You can hear Piccolo, Guru and quickly Vados all move around your, seizuring body but you did - you managed to pull the correct card. 'Re-roll' lit up in your hand and you took hold of Piccolo's arm. He vanished and his strength was added to your own.

"GAAAAAAAAAH!" You stand up, powering up as much as you can - and in your mind you hear Piccolo - and another voice similar to his shout with you. The blackness on your body was pushed away, as you entered your Brutal Form to summon the needed power. You were fighting a battle on three fronts now. Mind, body and soul - and something in you was pushed out thanks to your merging with Piccolo. Divine ki - not much but enough to push the Evil out.

The 'thing' had been hurt in the struggle, it transformed into a ball with tendrils extending out before it tried to swim through the air back to the ship.

"Oh..no you don't!"

"Come to my planet...try to posses my body...oh no your not getting away!" You brought up both hands to your forehead. Electricity and a violet aura surrounded your fingers and you felt the veins in your head pulse. "Saikou...Beam...." The amorphous thing took the shape of a large winged beast, beating it's wings harder as the light from both of your fingers became intensely bright that everyone around you had to block their eyes. "CANNOOOOOON!" You fire off both beams, and they rocket off right at the flying shadow. It tries to do a barrel roll, but it only ends up getting both wings caught in your attack. Drilling through it and sending it flying forward. You redirect the beams, turning them around and merging them together by slamming your hands together. "END!"

"RAAAAAAGH!" He got hit dead on, drilling it back down and into the ground of Hera. You keep up the assault until nothing remained, dropping your arms to the side you drop to a knee. - Only for Goku to fall from the sky. Above you the ship - quickly began to descend.

"I punched it real good, but uhhhh....how're we gonna stop it?" Goku asked, and you could hear Piccolo just sigh inside your mind.

"Don't worry. I've got this boys." Vados smiled floating high into the sky, as the colossal ship bore down on her - you were reminded just exactly who she was. When the entire ship turned white - and then poof. It was gone in a brilliant display of light, even brighter then your attack. She floated down, as the entire concert arena was lit up by the falling shining light...

"One more time!" Suddenly music began to play, the terrified crowd, now turned and saw...The Crescendolls on stage! Where there was fear, and chaos was now replaced by cheering and jovial partying. Vados touched down and helped you up, her touch even more revitalizing then a senzu bean or an ensenji fruit...

"Well that seems to be taken care of. Care to dance, Mr. Venture?" She asked, and you quickly nodded. Goku, Guru and Piccolo all returning to card form now that the battle was over...

You were still worried about more interruptions but you couldn't sense anymore of the evil presence. Vados did not seem to worry, and you relax and decided to show off a little. Mixing up movements for Metamor, natural dancing and the small experience you had was enough to keep you from looking silly. Though Vados out danced you, her every movement was graceful , elegant but also very strong. You weren't trying to put her on a pedestal but it was kind of hard not too. She was amazing and you simply wanted to learn everything about her. She was also perhaps the strongest entity in all of Universe 6. By the time the first song ended, you were exhausted trying to match Vados in moves. Dancing slower through the next few songs, you got to a slower song and Vados moved up to you while holding a hand out. You place a hand on her hip, and take her free hand while her free hand rested on your shoulder. You spun around the concert, and there was a sense of freedom as you got lost in her eyes.

"This has been fun. I haven't had this much fun in - a very long time." Vados looked up to you with a happy expression.

"Well. I'd be happy to make this a habit, maybe a hobby?" You get a smile and mentally fist pump.

"Gyro..you know. It was wonderful meeting your family, and visiting your homeworld. Would you like to do the same?"

"Sounds like our second date." You grin, and she laugh.

"Ohohoho, yes. You've met my brother Whis, he was very intrigued by you. My other siblings may not be receptive but my Father - " You suddenly imagined a great celestial being, cleaning a shotgun and asking what his intentions was with his daughter. "Well he would adore you."

"Actually they've left already. They have their after concert rituals but - " He hands both of you holo-card, one for all access to their Galactic tour. "We're touring across the galaxy. We'll be playing as entertainment for the Intergalactic Tournament."

"Oh. I'm entering that." You say and pause. "Wait. I don't even know where it is..."

"It will be held on Planet Eros. The coordinates for every show are on the card, as well dates and time."

"Thank you!" You keep the card in your deck holder, being small enough to discern through by touch and feel.

Accurate control of a small amount is worth more then having a lot of power that's used wildly. “Oh, yes. This music is actually up my co-worker’s alley actually. Perhaps we’ll visit Brench some day.” Assured Vados and you felt yourself nervously look as Shep welcomed such a visit.

“Yes, yes. Do visit, all of you. Planet Brench has gravity twice as much as Hera, but you seem strong enough that it wouldn’t bother you, either of you. If your interested, I know someone who’d be happy to train you. Grand Master Kondi is always seeking students for speed and agility training. Especially those not from Brench.”

“I’ll keep that mind…” You assure. You could always get better at your agility and a higher gravity world, even just twice as much as Hera would improve your training. “What about Planet Eros?”

“Oh? I know Namekians colonized there a long time ago. A small settlement who integrated peacefully with the Planet since it had no civilized species.” He explained. “They hold fighting tournaments and people go there to train for it between the times they hold it. Every two years.”

“Interesting…”

“I tried once, but didn’t even make it past the first round.” Shep admitted. “Master Kondi won it several times, but isn’t entering this years.”

"Classy." Shep gave you a thumbs up.

"Food if you got it too. I'm starved." You request and the band manager quickly left to get you the items. You turn to Vados, and then ask curiously. "Ambrosia? Nectar?"

"Food of the Gods. It is divine in taste, and any mortal would find themselves overwhelmed if they ate it but - we search for mortal foods because what they lack in divinity is made up for in variety." Vados explained, she sat back on the couch, resting her legs on your lap. "If you survive the Grand Ultra Divine Water, I shall get you some."

"I'd like that..."

"Oh. Hello." A familiar voice spoke to you, as four figures entered the room.

"Your the two who stopped that monster. Hi, I'm Arpegius." The blonde male guitarist said, as the group all sat down, the long show having taken a lot of them.

"That was awesome!" The shorter, brown haired drummer waved and said, "I'm Baryl!"

"Especially with the ship. That was amazing Miss. I'm Stella."

"Oh. I'm Octave." He nodded to you both. You and Vados each introduce yourselves and there's a nice atmosphere among the group.

"We played our best - thanks to you guys saving us. If you ever come by Brench, we should hang out." Arpegius said, grabbing a cold, carbonated drink from a mini-fridge.

"Well, we enjoyed the music and had a great time, isn't that right Gyro?" Vados asked, and you gave an enthusiastic nod. By that time, Shep returned, handing Vados her drink, you your martini and then a cart of food was pushed in.

"I simply brought the ala carte for you to choose from." Your eyes widen but you take the time to enjoy your drink first. It wasn't like the illusion drink you had with Bojack, this was a pleasurable taste to savor. Though you quickly eyed a lot of good food to eat. Shep sat down next to Stella, who was noticeably close to the manager.

"So, Crescendolls. Tell me more about yourselves. I've heard some stuff but I'm a newcomer to your music." You say, telekinetically floating food to yourself and getting an amazed look by the band members.

"Oh. Well we're from Brench, we played our music to keep morale up but soon it got to the point where we could support ourselves and the people we love through our songs thanks to the people of the galaxy listening and supporting our music." Stella explained.

"Brench was in a long war, many of us were orphans. We met and formed the band but it wasn't til Shep got us seen." Octave the keyboard player followed that with, "Luckily, the hero Frost brought peace to our world."

"..." You frown but stuff your face as you remember the fight with Frieza and Frost's appearance on the tv on Metamor.

"I spent some time fighting, but...it wasn't for me." Arpegius said, taking a drink before resting it on a table. "So I picked up the guitar with Stella."

"I'm the youngest drum player on Brench." Baryl declared proudly.

"My parents were musicians, they taught me music and I passed that along to them." Stella explained.

"Hm..so you got a lot of worlds your going too. Anyone you looking forward too?" You ask, wondering just how many shows they had...

"Planet Sweetz." Baryl immediately said. "Always wanted a Puff-Puff fruit."

"Planet Zorert has a nice atmosphere..." Stella said after pondering.

"Planet Sadala." Arpegius followed with, "and Eros."

"Planet Metamor." Finished Octave. "They have some interesting dances."

"I those worlds." Vados said, looking to you.

"I know some - but not the first two..." You admit. "Maybe there will be time to see some of these shows."

"I would very much like to join." Vados assured. You blush and the band group all happily continue chatting ...

You open your inner third eye power node and scan their chi. None of the five were particularly strong, they were on par with the average Hera-seijin. What you did notice was how their energies flowed together, they were in a sense connected. This aura was calming and it seemed to be subconscious. Wow. Was this this how the Crescendoll's music seemed to alleviate and create such a wonderful atmosphere? They must've channeled this power through their music, and you felt refreshed. Was this power the thing that dark being had been after? You pause and thin back. The painful memory of the Demi-Demon God's infection was still there. A chilling thought of what had happened if it had possessed you - and you were very thankful to that Goat Man who given you the card of second chances...which was back in your deck again. Wonderful. Learning more about these cards, and continuing to develop them had helped you overcome a lot in recent times. You pause and note that Shep had the most power out of them, an unnatural amount of life force bubbling beneath the surface of his ki.

"So what are your plans for the evening?" You ask, and turn to Vados. "We're just sort of - taking things as it goes - but I'm not tired. Are you?"

"No, I'm having a very good time Gyro-chan and I do not need to return to my duties until tomorrow." She assured. "This has been quite an interesting series of events."

"We have a limo. A hover limo. We can show you the best parts of Hera. Make up for being almost abducted." You offer, and the group paused to confer as a group. Shep approved, though just reminded they were heading off world in the morning.

"What sort of stuff does Hera have?" Baryl asked.

"We have - well lots of things." You had been to the Capital City before - though never to the capacity as 'Prince' but you knew your way around. Then again - you could take them to meet the King and Queen of Hera but that'd be revealing your identity. So would meeting Kami and - well anyone you knew.

"We're not too far from the beach. Wanna go swimming?" You ask, it was free and it would be a nice break.

"Ooh, cooling off with a nice swim does sound good." Stella agreeing with you it seems.

"We'd need to get bathing suits." Octave reminded, but you and Vados had that covered. Magically materalizing clothes in their hands, you give them a set of towels and sunglasses. The sun was past mid-point but you had enough daylight left to enjoy the rest of it at a beach you knew you could all go too.

"Haven't gone to the beach in a while. This'll be fun." Arpegius agreed, slipping the glasses over his eyes.Telepathically calling the limo driver, you and Vados stand and the band, along with Shep all prepare to leave.

"I'm going to build a sand mansion." Baryl said, and you materialize a bucket and shovel for him to use. You exit the green room, and through the back. The Brench Bouncers tried to look tough but after witnessing what they saw you do, they kept to just opening the doors for you.Once outside, you, Vados, Shep and the Crescendolls were being quickly flown to Hera's Royal City Beach.

You have a little time to relax before you arrive, Vados rests against you, and - well you feel comfortable with her now to simply relax in her presence.and embrace. The drive is quiet but there is a question that makes you break the silence...

"So Gyro and Vados." Shep pointed at your matching rings. "How long have you been married?" Vados looks up to you and you look down to Vados...who seemed to be napping conveniently...

"Awesome!" Beryl said, and there was a rest area to change into their swimsuits. For you and Vados it was as a snap of the finger to change your outfits.

"Ah...let's enjoy this day while we can, shall we Gyro-chan?" She took hold of your hand and the two of you ran began walking down the beach. The Brench Band coming out, the older ones going into the water and proving to be agile and quick swimmers. While Beryl began to build a moat...

Taking long walks on the beach was - actually really nice. You and Vados took in the sights, and enjoyed one another’s company. You cracked silly jokes, Vados laughed and the pair of you were a hair breadth from lips touching…

“Gyro Venture, you are an interesting young man. You face down mighty challenges. Vow for justice for slain family members, but you blush whenever you look at me…”

“My sister raised me to be a gentleman, Kami too.” Though that was only the partial truth. “And - because your the first real date I’ve had that I want to be - serious. I’m just nervous, and want to know if you want this to be serious too?”

“All my choices are serious ones. I have a reason for all my actions Gyro but - “ She raised the ring on her finger and you held up your ring hand. “These emotions you feel - and what you felt from me have shown me that you are someone I wish to take seriously. You are unique.”

“Unique is...one word.” You lay back, materializing a blanket between you and the sand and she lays next to you, the pair of you staring up at the sky. Cuddling was nice and just having someone like Vados in your arms was - perhaps a miracle in itself. However you - felt something hit your back. Sitting up, you move the blanket and find - a rock of Heranite. Small, but simply sitting in the sand and right under you. Materializing a bag around it you, hold it up. “Huh.”

“A rare find, Gyro...I have never seen the ore on the surface before- though it may have washed up from the water or been underneath the sand..” Vados said, but you looked around the beach.

“I wonder what else is around here?”

“Oh. Shall we do a hunt? This is the royal beach after all, there may be some interesting things around here.”

“Kind’ve hard to hunt with no target. The ore was accident - what are we looking for?” You ask, and Vados led you both of you practically running together down the beach. You see a lot of seashells, sand, rocks, and water…

“Anything unusual, with your normal and extra senses.” Vados said, looking back to you. You focus, using your ki and psychic senses. - You sense something...and you lead Vados to what pulls you to be - a large crack in the side of a cliffside. However, peering closer you cold see - there was a cave? You could see something - a symbol of some sort. The royal seal!

“Well that is unusual..” You answer, wondering how to get inside - you were way to big to fit after all, maybe there was another way in...or you could summon a card ally and have someone to lock onto to teleport too or you can make a clone within the cave...
