Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The return trip back to New Salda finishes, Karn having taught Bardock how to become a full-fledged Super Saiyan! Once back on the new Saiyan homeworld you are greeted by your friend and one of the most powerful people in this universe: Lord Freeza himself. Your friendly rematch was put on hold, however, as the Saiyan King Vegeta challenged Freeza first. The young king surprised you all by reaching a level of power you hadn’t seen from him before, he has now gone beyond a Super Saiyan as well.

Surprised by this development, Freeza agrees, sparring with the king. But upon Vegeta’s defeat Broly again lost control, hair and aura again going green as he goes Berserk. Working with Freeza, the two of you managed to quickly subdue the boy, Meloka taking him off to bed. Upon returning, she asked if she’d missed anything, Turles simply nodding toward your ongoing friendly battle with Freeza. As we rejoi-

You and Freeza clash over and over, moving so fast you see little more than blurs. Unlike most of your previous bouts with the emperor, he’s taken the role of ths aggressor this time, slowly ramping up his strength and speed to the point where even with your Ascended Super Saiyan power, you’re barely keeping up.

Again you fly headlong at each other, left fists crashing together with another boom. The impact makes your entire arm ache, hand having gone mostly numb a while ago, but you refuse to give an inch until he does. He flips backward from the strike, leveling his finger at you and firing a Death Beam. You focus your energy behind your eyes and fire a pair of beams into Freeza’s attack, the attacks exploding against each other and create a cloud of smoke.

Freeza is unrelenting, dashing at you through the cloud. With a last-second guard you stop his rush, forearms slamming into each other and blasting the smoke away with another boom. You both strain against each other a moment, Freeza smirking at you then the two of you wordlessly disengaging, you backflipping several times to get some distance.

“You’ve improved.” Freeza says, the emperor slightly winded and trying to even out his breathing.
“Huff huff huffThank. You.” you manage to pant out, trying desperately to catch your breath. Despite having seen it up close often enough, Freeza’s sheer power and strength always impress you. The stronger you get, the stronger you can comprehend he is.
“Well, I believe you’ve restsd enough.” Freeza says, smiling. “Ready to resume?”
“That was for me?” you ask, still panting slightly. “I was waiting. Huff On you.”
“Ohohohoho.” Freeza chuckles, grinning wickedly as he returns to his stance, arms spread. “Then shall we continue?”

He knows how the Su Ma technique works, so you think you can use that against him. A plan firmly in mind, you again take your stance, gesturing for Freeza to come to you. He obliges, blurring towards you at incredible speeds, but you’re ready. Freeza leads his attack with a right hook again, you spinning around outside the strike. He follows it up with a tail swipe to your guts, crashing into your middle hard enough for you to cough up blood. But he’s right where you want him now! Before he can pull his tail away you grab ahold of it with both arms, holding his tail tightly to your chest.

“W-What?!” Freeza asks, caught completely off-guard by your tactic. You grin at him, grip tightening on his tail.
“Gotcha now! DYAAAAAAA!!!” you shout, spinning. Over and over you spin in place, building momentum rapidly. Freeza is unable to overcome the force of the momentum, trapped until you release him.

“HYAAAAAAAA!!” you shout, tossing Freeza straight down into the island. He slams down hard into the ground, kicking the sand up into a cloud around the impact zone. You remain where you are, catching your breath for a few more moments while Freeza’s down in the dirt. Before you’re really ready, however, Freeza re-emerges.

“SHAAAAAAAA!!” Freeza shouts, aura flaring and blasting the sand cloud away as he launches straight up at you. You’re not ready, crossing your arms in front of you to prepare for his hit as he rapidly closes the distance. But just before he hits you, his charge stops instantly. You look ahead curiously, his fist a few inches from your crossed arms. The hell’s he doing now?

You’d seen Freeza use that Afterimage technique against King Vegeta, yet you’re still amazed how easily it can catch you off-guard. But you have to focus, find Freeza’s energy before he can- there! You feel his energy behind you, a few dozen feet above you as well. Instead of turning and letting him know the game’s up, you focus your power behind your eyes to prepare for your next attack. You feel Freeza’s energy drifting closer and closer, you have to fire, now!

“HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you shout, firing your beams through the afterimage, causing it to fade. Freeza charges your back, thinking his ruse was successful. With a thought your beams change direction, turning and firing at Freeza who’s nearly closed the distance behind you. You feel his energy shift as he dodges, you forcing your beam to change direction as well to keep pursuing him.
“Wh-What?!” Freeza shouts, startled, barely able to dodge the beams as they close in again. He leaps back from you, you again changing their course to follow him. He twists and moves, forcing you to constantly shift your beams’ direction over and over again. You soon reach your limit, unable to continue you change their course one last time, sending your beams skyward. That done you drop the attack, clutching your head against the agony swelling up inside your skull. It feels like your head is going to explode! You don’t even notice falling through the air until you crash onto the roof of your ship, wrapped up in your own little world of agony.

“That was a rather impressive attack, Karn.” Freeza says, landing beside you and looking at you curiously. “How did you learn to do such a thing?”
“I learned it in the future.” you say, forcing an eye open to catch Freeza’s reaction. He simply raises an eyebrow at you, waiting to see if you’re joking or not.

Really, if you look at karn's base power and frieza's, i think you see where i'm going with this.
Frieza probably already has a general idea of why karn has left a mountain of corpses in his wake, but having to fight karn on an equal level will really drive home how weak he actually is, if not for his bloated powerlevel.

“Its a secret, I can’t just give away my techniques for free.” you say, and despite the agony in your head you still manage to force yourself to your feet. “But if you win the match, I might just teach it to you.”
“Oh?” Freeza asks, then chuckles to himself. “Very well, if those are your terms. Let us keep going then.”

You and Freeza both shift into your stances, staring each other down. Despite the sheer agony inside your head you manage to remain still, watching Freeza for the first sign of movement. Everything is still, the only sounds come from your golden aura and the lightning dancing along it, and the warm, gentle breeze blowing across the island. You focus, seeing Freeza’s eyes starting to glow. Wait, no way!

“SHAAA!!” Freeza shouts, firing a pair of beams from his eyes as well. You immediately leap above them, twisting and watching the beams to make sure Freeza hadn’t already figured it out. That was a mistake, Freeza flying up behind you and wrapping his tail around your throat.
“Got you now.” he says, delivering three short jabs to your back. You cry out, Freeza tightening his tail a little tighter around your throat and cutting your cry off. This is bad! “So, does this mean I wi-“

“RRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, energy exploding out from you as you fire an Explosive Wave. The blast launches Freeza off of you, you twisting and catching his tail with your left hand. Before he knows whats happening, you pull him to you, delivering a crushing Energy Punch right to his jaw and sending him flying. Freeza recovers quickly, flipping once and stopping his backward flight.

“That one actually hurt, alittle.” Freeza says, bringing his left hand up to his mouth and wiping it, pulling it away and freezing at the sight. There was a bit of blood on the back of his hand! His pink aura flares around himself, the emperor looking at you with a rather cold glare. “I’m ending this, with one final attack.”

He doesn’t shift or take a stance, he simply floats there glaring at you, aura flaring angrily around him. You take your stance and flare your power up to maximum as his power just keeps rising, this one could hurt.

“Everyone, get back!” you think[/] to Meloka, Turles, and everyone watching, flaring your aura even higher. If Freeza wants to get serious, then you will too! You’ve just got to let go, let that anger take control of you yet again.

“RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, your energy soaring higher and higher as you begin to really cut loose.
“I don’t think so.” Freeza says, closing the distance between the two of you instantly. He levels his left hand at you, bracing it with your right and shouts wordlessly. Suddenly, you can’t move!

“Not this time.” Freeza says, and despite your struggling, you can’t move at all. Looking around, you’re trapped in some kind of ball of ki. “I told you this one would end it. You might want to brace yourself, this one will hurt quite a bit. HAAAAAAA!!”

With that you’re launched from Freeza, sent flying towards the mainland in your prison. You struggle, trying to use your ki to escape but its hopeless. You’re trapped! You watch helplessly as you soar over the Saiyan city, it looking much better than it did when you’d left. But you can’t think on it long, you rapidly closing in on the ground. You shut your eyes, knowing this is gonna hurt. You feel it the moment your prison impacts the ground, the sphere shattering and releasing a massive amount of energy. You know you can now move, but you only have an instant befotr that energy is released!

With only a moment to react, you act purely on instinct.

“RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, releasing every ounce of power you have left in your Explosive Wave as Freeza’s attack explodes around you. The world disappears around you, consumed by that brilliant light. You feel the pressure of the blast pressing against your own wave, overwhelming it after a few moments and scorching your flesh. But as soon as the agony starts, its over. You feel the wind on your body for a moment, then the ground, having dropped down to the bottom of the new crater. You simply lay there face-down in the dirt as you pant, trying to catch your breath after that close call. After a few moments you struggle back to your feet, looking down to take stock of the damage.

Your armor is history, blasted into oblivion by that attack. Your body has a few burns, but other than that you seem physically fine. But your most pressing concern is-

“KARN!”
“DADDY!!”

You barely look up in time to see Chaya blitzing down at you, your child slamming hard into your chest. You’re unable to react in time, your daughter crashing into your chest and sending you back down into the dirt. The impact hurts, but you just wrap your daughter in your arms and tell her everything’s all right. Meloka floats down beside you and offers a hand up, you taking it and pulling yourself to your feet as someone else lands in the crater near you.

“You never cease to amaze me, Karn.” Freeza says, smiling again. “That attack has never failed to at least incapacitate an opponent before, including my older brother. I must say I’m impressed. But from what I can sense of your ki, this fight’s over. Unless you still wish to keep going?”

“You win Freeza, I concede.” you say, Chaya climbing up your arm and shoulders onto your head, sitting there cross-legged. You and Meloka laugh at this, even Freeza chuckling a bit at your daughter’s antics. “But wait, you have a brother?”
“Yes, believe it or not I’m not an only child.” Freeza says nonchalantly. I do have an older brother by the name of Cooler. He currently is operating in the South Quadrant.”
“Any reason the two of you work so seperated?” Meloka asks, you seeing a bit of anger on Freeza’s face.
“I cannot stand my brother.” Freeza says coldly, his power unconsciously rising around him. “Just thinking about him, I-!”

He’s unable to finish his sentence, you taking a daring chance and interrupting him.

“Wait, Freeza.” you say, the emperor stopping deadly still. “I promised I’d show you how my attack worked since you won, remember?”
“Ah yes of course, forgive me.” Freeza says, a note of embarrassment in his apology. “Please, go ahead.”
“Alright, but first we’ll need targets.” you say, Meloka nodding to you and grabbing Chaya from your head. She protests until Meloka whispers in her ear, your daughter giggling as the two of them fly out of the crater. A moment later you hear a few booms, then they come back, Chaya beaming. Meloka tosses two trees down into the ground hard enough to stick in the ground upright, following them with her Energy Blade. She slices them into sections, Chaya grabbing each one and slamming it into the ground as well, leaving several targets to hit. Their work done, the two of them come back beside you, Chaya holding her hands out proudly shouts, “Ta-da!”

“Very well done.” Freeza says to her, your daughter beaming then turning to you.
“Perfect.” you tell her, Chaya leaping up and cheering. You laugh and pat her head as she hugs your leg, your focus turning to Freeza.

“When I first used this technique, it was against someone who I hate.” you tell him, Freeza observing you closely. “I’d fired my beams through his chest, but it wasn’t enough. I wanted him to suffer. So I made it happen.”
“...Just like that?” he asks you, confused. “So, how did you do it?”
“Like this.” you say, gathering what’s left of your power behind your eyes. “You focus your ki behind your eyes, and when you’re ready, unleash.”
“I’m already aware how to do that much.” Freeza says, slightly annoyed. “But how do you make them change direction?”
“You focus on your beams, and project your anger on the target.” you say, eyes glowing with gathered energy as you stare at your chosen target. “Once your beam passes through them, focus all your wrath on that target, on your will to destroy it! Like this,HAAA!!”

With that shout you fire your attack, beams launching from your eyes and into the tallest target, the beams piercing through it cleanly. It takes much more effort than usual, your head lighting up in pain, but you do it. You direct your beam to change course, slamming through another target and into the ground, detonating. You hear Chaya “Wooooaaaah,” you smiling as you clutch your head with your other hand.

“It does put a bit of strain on you.” you say through gritted teeth, Freeza looking curiously at your pain. Meloka flies over but you wave her off, shaking your head and straightening up. “But the results are well worth it.”
“Very well, I’ll give it a try.” Freeza says, his eyes glowing as he turns towards the targets. You feel his ki rising, the ground trembling slightly. Then with a shout, he unleashes!

“SHAAAAA!!” Freeza shouts, his beams firing straight through one target. You hear him struggling, trying to get his beam to change direction. “Turn, damn you! Turn!”

And it works! Freeza’s beam changes direction, now headed straight up. With more grunting he manages to change its direction again, the beams slamming into another target from almost directly overhead and exploding. Chaya “Wooooaaaaah!!”s again, you chuckling and rubbing her head as you turn back to your emperor. Freeza stands tall, panting slightly but an even smugger smile than usual on his face.

“That was more difficult than I’d thought it’d be. Perhaps next time I’ll-.” he says, smiling and turning to you. But his attention is transfixed on something, you turning to see what he’s looking at. You see nothing beside you except Meloka, who’s similarly transfixed but at your feet. You look down at Chaya, seeing a visible glow around her. Is she...?

“YAAAAAAAAAAA!!” your daughter shouts, firing an uncontrolled wave of energy from her eyes. It disappates after a few feet, your daughter dropping to the ground and clutching her head. “Owie owie owie owie!”

You bend down immediately, scooping her up into your arms and holding her close to you. Looking close, you see the skin around her clamped shut eyes is noticably darkened, smelling slightly singed. Or maybe that’s just you.

Your strength was lagging before, your power spent, but this surge of panic and adrenaline flowing through your veins giving you new strength. “Shhhh, Daddy’s got you.”
“It hurts.” she says over and over, squirming uncomfortably in your arms. Its now or never.
“Daddy’s got you.” you say again, your golden aura flaring up around you as you pour some of your ki into her. Your radiant energy engulfs her, the golden glow enveloping her body. You pour more and more energy into your daughter, her entire body starting to glow golden as well. Her squirming and crying slows, then stops entirely. “Chaya, open your eyes. I need to make sure you’re okay.”

“Hmmm?” she asks, looking up at you confused. The skin around her eyes is definitely darkened, as for her eyes themselves they’re bloodshot around her green irises, but otherwise she’s alright. You sigh out in relief, your golden aura fading from you. But not from around Chaya, then it hits you. Wait, green eyes?
“Hmmm?” you hear Freeza vocalize from behind you, but you’re unable to take your eyes off your daughter.
“Chaya are you okay?” Meloka asks, walking up and placing a hand on Chaya’s head. Chaya turning to her mother and exclaiming happily. You notice for the first time that Chaya’s hair is standing upright, and no longer black but a glorious golden. She leaps from your arms into Meloka’s, you staring with a mix of awe, pride, and confusion.

“Well she certainly is your daughter.” Freeza says with a chuckle, walking up beside you.
“Y-Yeah.” you reply eloquently, Chaya giggling in Meloka’s arms as the golden glow around her slowly begins to fade and her hair returns to normal.
“Well its certainly been entertaining, Karn.” Freeza says, lifting up into the air. “But I should be going. I do have an empire to run, after all. You won’t have another assignment for quite some time, enjoy a well-earned rest.”
“Thanks Freeza.” you say, nodding to him. Freeza nods back and turns to leave, but another voice calls out.
“Bye Freezy!!” Chaya says, waving both her arms up at him. Freeza smiles and gives a small wave back to her as well, blasting up and away, disappearing into the sky.

“Well that was something else.” Meloka says, Chaya yawning in her arms and curling up. “You alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.” you say, swaying unsteadily on your feet another moment before dropping. Before you hit the ground Meloka’s there, supporting you.
“Thanks Me...lo...” you say, the day finally catching up to you. You drift off into unconsciousness right there and then.

You wake up early the following morning, the room silent around you except for the quiet breathing of your family. You sit up and look around, seeing Chaya and Broly both asleep in their bed, and surprisingly Chilli is sleeping with them as well. Wonder when Tatsu brought him by? Meloka mumbles something, eyes fluttering open.

“Mmmmrrrrrnnnn.” she mumbles, crawling up and laying her head on your chest and wrapping her arms around your neck.
“Mornin’.” you say with a smile, running your fingertips up and down her bare back. She hums contentedly, occasionally shivering from your touch. You both remain there for several minutes, just enjoying being in each others’ company. But soon enough, the quiet moment comes to an end.

“Mornin’ Mamma! Mornin’ Daddy!!” Chaya shouts, launching herself at the both of you. Meloka’s too distracted to react, you reaching out and catching your daughter with your other hand instead.
“Good morning Chaya,” you tell her, your daughter beaming at you. “Sleep good?”
“Mmmhmm!” she says, cuddling up to your other shoulder. You look closely at her eyes, checking them again for anything wrong, but she’s fine. Besides a slight discoloring around her eyes, she seems to be perfectly okay. But Chaya’s shout woke someone else too.
“Maaaa! Daaaad!” Chilli shouts, leaping over to the three of you as well. “You back! I miss you!”
“We’re back.” Meloka says, rolling and catching him in her arms. “We missed you too Chilli.”
“Good morning.” Broly says from the far side of the room, rubbing his arm nervously. Is something wrong with him?

“Oh okay.” Meloka says, walking with her arms behind the back of her head. “I’m gonna go see Tunnip, see how she’s handling it.”
“Handling what?” you ask, but she only smiles to herself, sending you a mental image of Tunnip holding a child. Ah, now you get it. You then turn and look to the kids asking them all what they’ll do.
“I’mma go see Teacher!” Chaya declares, pumping a fist. Broly looks to her, you knowing that boy will follow her anywhere. You wonder what your future daughter would think of that?

“What about you Chilli?” Meloka asks your son, him looking around confused and unsure. “Want to go with me?”
“Uh huh.” he says shyly, Meloka chuckling and picking the boy up as you press the button to lower the ramp. The five of you descend together, Chaya and Broly immediately running off to the Guardian’s tower. You and Meloka split up, headed your seperate ways. You fly off towards the woods near the city, sensing Tatsu’s power around there. As you approach, however, you see something familiar flying up into the air. Is that a-?

“Burst open and mix!” you hear someone shout, your eyes widening in surprise. What’s going on? Shielding your eyes from looking into the orb you keep charging forward, watching several dozen Oozaru rise up out of the trees. They all seem rather young and small, until you see him. One Oozaru stands a massive head above the rest, its roar terrifying. As you close in on it you see that its heavily scarred, missing an arm even. That’s certainly him. Flying over, you land on his left shoulder, the giant Oozaru looking down at you with his one good eye.

“Karn?” he thinks to you slightly confused.
“Hey, thanks for looking after Chilli for me.” you reply. “You took great care of him.”
“That’s what fa-“ he starts, changing from talking with you into a roar as two of the young Oozaru start fighting. He leaps over to them, swatting both of them down and roaring again. The chastised children rise angrily, low growling at him. He growls back larger and deeper. This could get a little messy.

He turns fully to look at you with his one good eye, you get the feeling he wants to say something. But before hecan the two Saiyans roar and charge, Tatsu turning back to them and checking their unruly aggression. They’re in for it now. But with that settled, there’s no reason for you to stick around and watch what’s about to happen to them. You have enough memories about what’ll happen to them next. You chuckle to yourself as you start to fly back towards the Guardian’s Island. But just before you can leave the mainland, your instincts scream out a warning, you halting your flight immediately. It wasn’t a moment too soon, as a flaming object crashes hard into the sand of the beach right in front of you. You watch the sand cloud closely, waiting to see it clear. The fuck was that?

“Y’know babe, I heard getting in the right woman would take you places.” an odd voice says, the dust thinning and allowing you to see someone down there. “But this is a whole ‘nother level!”
“Ugh, why don’t you just shut up?” a black, spherical object says, morphing into the figure of a woman.
“No one can silence the magical music that is me babe!” the robot says, arms wide and spinning in circles. “Scaramoooouuuche the Merciless!”

“I’m Karn, tell me everything.” you say, dropping the casual demeanor.
“You, Karn the Super Saiyan?” Scaramouche says incredulously. “C’mon babe, don’t make me...laugh?”

“HAAAAAAA!!” you shout, golden aura flaring up around you as youdive into that golden well of ki inside you. Your energy skyrockets, ground shattering beneath you and blowing the debris away, knocking Scaramouche over and causing Ashi to bend nearly ninty degrees backward. You make it a bit of a show, slowly powering up into your Super Saiyan form. The weight of your strength is too much, the ground crumpling into a crater beneath you as your transformation ends. You casually walk up and out of the crater, standing before the two of them with your arms crossed.

“So, believe me now tin can?” you say, eyebrow raised. “I’m the real Karn. Now tell me everything.”

Ashi steps forward, telling you what happened. From what you gather, Aku sent Demongo after someone he couldn’t handle himself, the mercenary Guts. You remember the two occasions you met the mercenary yourself, wondering how Aku couldn’t handle him. You’ve seen what Aku can do firsthand. Anyways, this Demongo succeeded, using his abilities to somehow capture the soul of Guts. With Guts under his control, Demongo conquered the entire Battledome, then sent out a universe-wide broadcast declaring war on Aku.”

“So that’s the skinny, babe.” Scaramouche says, having risen back to his feet and dusted himself off. “So, will you do it?”

“Let’s say we help you.” you say to the pair of them. “What’s in it for us?”
“What do you mean?” Ashi declares, as you sense two powerlevels closing in. Meloka and Tunnip, you realize, thinking to the two of them and explaining everything you’d been told to quickly catch them up to speed. “Who’s this ‘us’?”

“We’re ‘us’.” Meloka says, her and Tunnip landing on either side of you. They look between the women clearly confused, having not noticed their approach. “So why should we help you?”
“Its not us, its my father who needs your help.” Ashi says. “Once Demongo has been destroyed, father shall reward you.”
“Reward? What kind of reward?” Tunnip asks, the most money-oriented of all of you.
“I wasn’t told.” she responds cooly. “But my father is powerful, the absolute ruler of several worlds. Ask your price of him, and I’m sure you’ll get it.”
“Ask my price, huh?” Turles says, landing near you all as well already transformed into a Super Saiyan. “Sorry I’m late, but at least it seems like we’re not under attack this time. As for your father, naming my price of him seems rather novel.”

“It seems you have no lack of friends willing to step up, Super Saiyan Karn.” Ashi says, turning back to face you. “So I take it you’ll be going?”
“Of course.” you reply. “This sounds like it’ll be fun.”

You take the newcomers along, gathering everyone by your ship to decide who’ll go on this mission. Its debated back and forth, even getting a little heated, but in the end the team going with you is settled. Surprisingly, Bardock insisted on going along despite being held as a prisoner in the Battledome for quite some time. But his knowledge of the facility could prove to be invaluable. Turles also wishes to go along, more to get whatever reward he has in mind from Aku. Ubo wants to go as well, just because you’re going. And most surprising of all is Nappa volunteering to come along as well. Perhaps he’s wanting to try and achieve the Super Saiyan form as well?

Regardless, once your team was decided it was time to prepare for departure. You sent your crew to the mainland to stock the ship, needing to resupply before you embark on the two and a half trip, then turn to face Meloka. She’s clearly unhappy about being left behind, standing and facing you with her arms crossed. You walk over to her, to say something, but she acts first. She floats up to your level, puts her finger on your lips and speaks.

“Don’t. Just don’t.” she says, you seeing a tear forming in the corner of her eye. “Just... promise me one thing.”
“Name it.” you reply instantly. And you aren’t just saying it, you mean it.
“Come back.” she says. “I have a really bad feeling about this, so please. Come back to me Karn.”
“I will.” you say, wrapping her in your arms. She sheds a few tears on your chest, drying her eyes before she pulls away composed again. “I promise.”
“Daddy leaving?” Chaya asks you, Broly and Chilli both behind her looking curiously at you.
“Yeah, I’m heading out kiddo.” you say, taking a knee and ruffling her hair with one hand. “Behave for your mother while I’m gone, okay?”
“O-Okaay...” she says sadly, you pulling her close. You look up to your other children and gesture, them both running to you as well. You embrace the three of them, telling them to all look out for each other while you’re gone. Chaya tries to put on a brave face, but you notice a few tears stream down her face as you board your ship, preparations complete. You wave to your family as the ramp begins to rise, etching this image on your mind. That’s the last time you’ll see them for awhile, you don’t want to forget a single detail.

“Well, we’re off.” Nappa says, the giant of a man by your side. “And only two and a half months until we arrive. What’ll you be doing until we get there?”
