/qst/ - Quests

Welcome my friends to another Dragon Ball Quest.

I am your humble host, SwordAnon.

You will be playing the role as a member of the almighty race of Hera. Although while most DB role plays take place in Universe 7....this is set in Universe 6 instead.

You are the Guardian in Training of the Planet Hera, Gyro. The [Mutant] [Hera raised] young [man] with an older sister named Kado who strives to also become Guardian of Hera.

The standard voting system is in place. We’ll be using a dice system for success or failures. The best outta five rolls with the standard being 1d20’s for actions. Ones and twenties being crit-fails and crit-successes. With 1d100 percentile roles done at events to decide certain things.

>Gyro faces two Illusion Saiyans in a different time.
>Awakening and stuffing his face, he finds a [Son Goku] card. Kado taking it to examine being the only other person who can hear him.
>Then the GM got busy and we broke for chatter and Gyro must now beat the Grand Priest to marry and husbando Vados. So uh, we're in for the long haul.

>Now. Master Puntia has summoned you...and huh. The ground has a hole in it now...huh.

You were just talking to your sister after eating and now the ground opened up in a perfect circle. Below you the hole showed you the sight you saw before and you look up to your sister who only gives you a knowing smile as she looks at the card.

“I’ll hold onto this, brother. When you finish speaking with Master Puntia I’m sure Son Goku will be able to assist you better…” She put the pendent around her neck and gave you a nod, smile before she turned and left you to your...predicament with one more bit of advice. “Try not to struggle, you’ll only hurt yourself…” She waved to you as she vanished behind a corner.

“Ok sis…” Looking down, you are held up by your flight but...there is something pulling at you now. Stronger the more you resist like Kado had mentioned.

Roll me a 1d20 DC 16 best of five.

Rolled 9, 12, 12, 2, 1 = 36 (5d20)

If Vados is who Gyro desires...

Then he'll have to surpass the Gods of Destructions, Angels and the Grand Priest.

But, apprenticing with Champa and getting to know her could be a 'date' time or perhaps meetings before then.

You have the potential, and your rank to become Guardian is in your favor already...

Your sister while not a mutant, has unlocked and hidden potential on par with you but her strengths also are more varied.

Kado also would love Vados being her sister but it'd also make her wonder who she's attracted too.

You pull yourself free, flipping through the air to get a clear look at the hole. Peering close, you nearly get above the hole peering down - only to pull back when it suddenly flew up at you! You look up and the room was quickly filled with holes. They flew at you, attempting to pull you into each one but you swiftly and nimbly dodge them. Finding yourself smiling, and flying through the air with the greatest of ease. Soon more and more holes filled the room until the dining room vanished.

"...Oh boy." All the small holes gathered together, forming into one gigantic hole above you and another colossal hole below. Before you could instant transmit away, the two holes slammed together with you in between them...

-

All around you was smoke, and it was thick enough that you could barely see the dark lit room all around you.

"No, one's dodged my portals like that since my brother." Puntia's voice echoed all through the room, the smoke shifting and revealing a large pile of orbs that were stacked up nearly to the ceiling. Ontop was Master Puntia, the dragon of darkness in his human-ish form. He had a long pipe in hand and his thumb was on fire as he dipped it into the back of the piece. Inhaling, he released more smoke into the dense fog you were standing in. "So...tell me Gyro. Before we begin your training. What is it that you hope to learn?"

You start to say something but you pause and think...what did you hope to learn?

>A. I wish to learn magic and enhance my ESP to better myself.

>>
>>2427820
“Well…” You inhale, and then exhale as more smoke poured all around the both of you. The smell was pungent, strong and made you a tad light headed but your thoughts also became more clear to you. “Like my sister I wish to learn magic and I enhance my psychic abilities to better myself.” You answer, but your not done as you fly up to Puntia. Music was playing on a playing device that was playing a song of sorts that had loud horns and a man singing about his sadness. Puntia raised a brow at you, inhaling from his pipe he set it down on a floating table that had other items assorted on it, but nothing you really recognized. A bowl of dark greens, a long metal pole and the wooden pipe which was carved in the shape of a dragon’s head upon closer inspection. “I need to get stronger. Not just because of that vision that Kado saw, but for the future of Hera. I won’t die to some - “ Your mind eye saw your own death, a giant bug man took your life and something inside you boiled. “ to some...beetle monster. I need any avenue of power, any way to get stronger even if it’s not apparent to me.” You try to get mad, but something...is calming you down and relaxing you.

“I see...and how do you believe you can attain this strength?” He asked, sitting up and grabbed a small bag. Pulling out chips, he stuffed his face before taking a green liquid and downing the bubbly content in one go. He picked up his pipe again, and raised it up to you.

“Sorry, sir I gotta keep my lungs clean from stuff like tobacco. Don’t hold back on my account though.” You say holding your hands up.

“Heh-heh, sure kid.” He grinned a toothy smile, that was much like when Master Pitaya pulled one of his ‘training pranks’.

“Drawing on life energy seems to be useful.” You create a halo above your head and Puntia looks at it with an amused gaze. “However I’ve failed to go any further beyond this…” You lament, your recent failure with trying to learn the spirit bomb the great attack that helped you take out at Great Ape was still out of your reach. Goku did say it was extremely difficult...something you’ve heard before but never really experienced before. Even as your training got harder, you just...adapted.

“Well….I can help you with that, but first we’ll need to set up the ground works.” Standing up, Puntia walked on the air, stepping over his pile of spheres and you started to follow...until he shut a water closet door in your face and you heard the sound of running water…

He steps out, washing his hands with a towel and the dark suit he wore was replaced with a bathrobe and Puntia’s entire appearance shifted…into an older looking man. “What, dude?” He had a burning white rolled up item in his mouth and still looked at you behind sunglasses. “You like the rug?” He asks pointing the floor..still obscured by smoke.

“...Yes?” You say, unsure really of what your even standing on.

“Really ties the room together. So! Gyro. My dude. We have to lay the ground...which means we need to figure out where your at on the magical spectrum…” He waved you over and stood beside a large gaming machine. “ - Here. Just play this and you’ll figure out your spell type. Then...that's when the fun begins.”

Interesting.

Your sister got Earth magic but she's been able to learn a basic spell for each basic element as she has a natural talent for the art.

May as well ask this first.

What element do you believe Gyro should have?

I'll balance that with what I've got planned with this roll...
>>
>>2428290
Well, I'm a fan of the Japanese element of Void
>>
>>2428292
You do have Aether's Crown which is a similar context...

Ripped from the wiki...

>空 Kū or sora, most often translated as "Void", but also meaning "sky" or "Heaven", represents those things beyond our everyday experience, particularly those things composed of pure energy. Bodily, kū represents spirit, thought, and creative energy. It represents our ability to think and to communicate, as well as our creativity. It can also be associated with power, creativity, spontaneity, and inventiveness.

Kū is of particular importance as the highest of the elements. In martial arts, particularly in fictional tales where the fighting discipline is blended with magic or the occult, one often invokes the power of the Void to connect to the quintessential creative energy of the world. A warrior properly attuned to the Void can sense their surroundings and act without thinking, and without using their "physical senses".

...so life energy/ki?

You suggest that the group should grind a little before undertaking such a perilous journey. They agree, and you have enough time to prepare yourselves before you go on saving royalty. The Warrior says there's a lot of goblins around that people pay good money to clear out. They collapsed a nearby bridge and have gotten bolder. Though they do tend to be a problem to inexperienced groups. The rogue says that playing Brute Squad for the local police would sharpen your skills and pay some quick coin, but at this point your dealing with other people. The cleric says that wolves were seen near the farmlands that could be dealt with. The bard...is singing a song about how they're going to save Princess Sara but also mentions some ancient ruins nearby that could hold something helpful but..it's guarded by a necromancer

The hunt for the wolves didn’t take long, you find clues to the whereabouts of the canines and the remains of cow carcasses that lead you to where you believe to be the entrance of the wolf pack’s abode.

The rogue says he can make traps, the cleric wishes to bless you all, the warrior would prefer to just burn the dogs out and kill them as they flee the flames. The cleric however dislikes the idea of damaging the nature for this... The bard says he can lure the wolves out instead with his music but they’ll all come out…

Spell list:

Air Magic
Aeromancy, lets you control air, sound and other aspects of wind and breath.
Water Magic
Hydromancy, you control water in all it's forms, solid, liquid and gas.
Void Magic
Basically anti-magic. Cancels out other magic types and can absorb/reflect/delete other spells

What kind of spell would you like to use?

You can enhance the flame with air magic, or dampen it with water. Control the sound of the bard's music to either loud or quiet for a few wolves.

Really write-in spells are welcome. This is to get an idea of how you'll use magic.

You decide to take on necromancer, for the bonus of taking out a dirty undead summoner. The group marches on, finding the ruins of the necromancer’s abode. The rogue finally got the door open and your group walk into a large sanctum. Above you is a balcony where a young woman with black hair, white make-up and dark robes looked down at you. Below her was all sorts of manner of undead. A zombie, skeleton, mummy, a ghoul and a vampire!

The music of battle began as the necromancer woman shouted for you to die, before she fled from the spot. The warrior and the vampire immediately attack one another. His Volcanic Axe hissing with each swing. The skeleton and zombie shamble to the Cleric. Raising his holy symbol, the two undead shielded their faces as it burned them with a bright light. What works well against mummies, dried out husks....ice? Yeah sure, why not? You decide to cast a strong ice spell, this one a powerful cone of cold directly aimed for the monster. It lumbered at you, intent on taking you out -- but it's a block ice before it even gets half way. Falling over it shattered and you are victorious!

The Warrior beheads the Vampire, raising it's decapitated trophy in a shout of victory before the thing turned into dust. The ghoul was twitching the floor, several more blades poking out it now. The cleric finished hammering the undead, The bard, waves at you from the balcony, having climbed too it during the fight...

You spot the only thing to survive your ice assault. The mummy's headress...and even without needing to focus you can tell there's some magic on it.

You take the odd headdress and put it into your inventory. Next you search the room, finding very little...until your hand hits a trigger and a secret door opened up. You peek inside and you see a long hallway that stretches out to a distant door.

The rogue compliments you on your find, and the Warrior asks which way they should go? Follow the necromancer or take this passage? You have no idea where it might go, but the path to the ectomancer could be wrought with danger.

Sending out an air clone, a being of air that resembled you flew through the hallway. It reached the door, vanishing through it like a ghost. Moments later the door opened and the air scout, waved for you giving the all clear.

Figuring it was safe, you all head in and come to a large sanctum...where the necromancer was half-dressed trying to get into what appeared to be a costume of sorts.

"Wha!?" She says, stumbling back and falling on her butt. You've caught the necromancer by surprise!

“Ssssshoooould wweeeeee sssssspaaaaare…….them?” It asked pointing to the rest of you…

“Yes! Don’t touch them - !” The bard tried to say, but the father of Morticia raised his hand and the bard’s voice was silenced.

“Daaaadddy!” Pouted Morticia, but the Lich just rubbed his cranium.

“Morticia von Lichtenstein. You will listen to your father! I have not perverted life and unlife to keep this immortality to hear you speak back to your father.” The lich and his entourage all backed you up toward the path you came, but separated you from the bard and the necromancer…“You...I sense...potential.” The Lich says pointing at you. “Submit to me and I will spare your friends and let that foolish silver tongued snake live. My daughter has disappointed me as an apprentice, I see wind and air but - oh I see you can control the Void. The very essence of creation and destruction.” The Lich was interested in you, maybe you could use this...

>A. Stand and fight! I don’t make deals with monsters like you.
>B. Consider his offer, maybe your friends can get out of here now and you can get out later…
>C. Try diplomacy again? Maybe offer a deal in teaching his daughter instead, so she is a good apprentice?

part 2

The bard swooped in, helping the young lady up and began to turn on his charm. The white haired girl wasn’t used to such attention and she buried her hands on her face. Her pale skin becoming red as he whispered into her ear. You decide to sense the magic in the room, checking around the large theater-like room. There were caskets around, and one gigantic sarcophagus in the center. There was a strong aura around each casket, but an even greater one in the giant sarcophagus.

“So it’s decided! We’re to wed!” The bard suddenly shouted, lifting up the young woman, who clutched her staff but it seemed the necromancer issue was - kinda solved?

“You’ll have to gain my father’s blessing though…” The girl said, and you see her look at the caskets.

“Oh boy.” You say to yourself aloud, your immersion from the game breaking for a moment as your eyes burned from looking at the screen.

“You save the Princess yet?” You hear Puntia ask, as he rested back on his pile of spheres.

“...Side-questing.” You answer, not looking up. The coffins were moving now...

“Oh! You fight the lich and his death knights yet?”

“....” You frown, looking back at the screen as your party members prepared for battle...

“He’s fuuuun. Especially if you didn’t level up to third level.” The magical and psychic master was eating from a tub of rocky road ice-cream now.

“Oh boy…” You go back into ‘First Fantasy’, wondering if you picked the right magical choices…

The caskets began to open, and from the center golden one emerged a small, obsidian casket. It opened and from all of the containers emerged undead beings…

“Morticia...you will not wed some..spoony bard!”

“But father! We’re in love!” Morticia hung off of the bard’s grip and you could see hearts float above her head.

“Ah, it’s good she’s in love.” One armored undead knight said, lifting up a blade made of blue gem stone.

“I can set up the ceremony…” A skeletal man in clerical robes and purple pendant that softly lit a violet aura around himself. A third undead monster, this one wrapped in a hood and robes as well had two bright eyes that held fear and fire magics.

“No.” The Wizard You says as he raises his hands and the Lich’s eyeless sockets widened when it realizes what your doing. “We don’t negotiate with monsters. We stand, and we fight!” Sending out a spell of water, wind and reinforced with Void. Your first Super Spell! A torrent of water, wind that formed into a beam and was empowered by raw energy. Firing it directly at the lich and his group, they were knocked back directly into their own caskets, as you shout out, “Wave Motion Fist!” Rallying your group together the Warrior runs at the skeleton swordsman. Red and blue lights lit up the large room as fire and ice began to spring up from their weapons.

“Vile, abominations be purified by cleansing flame!” The cleric shouted, as white flame was released from her mace and burned itself on the hooded undead and the zombified priest. The rogue crossed the room and assisted the bard in getting the necromancer back where you came from. He tossed a pair of daggers into the heads of two of the approaching undead minions, but it didn’t do much to slow them down. So the bard handed the girl over and raised his lute...and his silence was broken with a powerful sound blast that flattened much of the attackers.

You try to summon forth six water clones but the technique you used took more mana then you realized and you only summon five. They surge around, each holding back an undead foe with their watery bodies acting as barriers. The ring on your hand lit up, and suddenly each clone crystallized and the room got colder...and each water doppelganger was now an ice clone! A level three spell, that it seems the ring of water you wore automatically upgraded for you and explains why your cone of cold was much stronger. While stronger, they were also slower and without the sixth clone, the cloaked undead made a beeline for you. His eyes lighting up and you suddenly feel a powerful fear, and a ring of fire surrounded you.

The Warrior struck the dark knight back, but the dead warrior was more skilled and his years of training in life and unlife far outmatching the inexperienced fighter. Ice spread along every wound and soon the axe wielder was only kept warm by the burning axe he kept up. The rogue and bard tried to give support with arrows and daggers, focusing both their hits on the same walking deadite to stun them. The Death Knight was first, getting an arrow in his hand, and a dagger in it's skull giving the warrior time to regroup...

"Stop!" Morticia said, and lesser. mindless undead were frozen...leaving the stronger sentient ones like the one coming at you unimpeded...

"Daughter....you are driving my patience...an emotion that was suppose to have died with lichdom." The Lich uttered, sitting on his sarcophagus, observing the fight and you..."Very well. Fight my adventuring party. They were like all of you once, rescuing maidens, fighting goblins and orcs for pay. Then...death took us one by one. Just like it will take all of you. I rebelled. I saved my party from death and granted them an eternal adventure...."

"Shut your pie hole!" The Cleric rested a hand on one of your clones and channeling divine power through your clone a change happens..."Holy Diver!"

*BLOOSH*

It exploded and a mist filled the room. Then..the undead shrieked in agony as Holy Water Mist burned them like acid leaving the rest of you, even Morticia unharmed.

You combine your ice clones merging the four left into two large ice construct. Both unhindered by the fog, they slam through the undead and grab the Death Knight and the Cloaked Skeleton. Freeing you, the ring of flames died being doused by the holy spray of mist. The cleric doesn’t waste time and strikes the undead cleric, clearly wanting to kill her unliving counterpart as quickly as possible. Shattering the pendent, the priestly monster shrieked before it crumbled into dust before the cleric’s blow.

The Lich raises his hand and a powerful gust of dark wind pushes an orb of toxic air that the was quickly burning up the brief time your exploded ice clone gave you.

“Alright. Fire in the hole.” Lighting a wick, the rogue tosses a black object into the midst of the undead and a strong explosion that sent several undead flying into one another.

“Inspiring Couraaaage!” The bard said, pulling out his lute and began to play...the party getting buffed overall…you recharged your energy while you had the breather but you were sure if you didn't start taking undead down you’d be overrun...Morticia was struggling, but her hands still held up a green flame, holding her control over the lesser undead but she was clearly weakening…

Creating a wall of wind, you push against the Lich's miasma to prevent it from lurking closer. It would stay up long enough for your group to finish this. You turn to Morticia and raise a pharaoh headdress you took from the mummy. The magic in it felt old but strong. Morticia's eyes widened seeing it, and that made sense she did sick the mummy on you.

"T-that could work." She says, holding herself up with her staff. "Poor King Wraps..." She said as you placed it on her head. Then her eyes turned yellow and she wrapped up the sentient undead in wrappings.

The Warrior, Rogue, Bard and Cleric rounded around you as Morticia held up her staff and the green flames lit it up. The wrappings blazed green and the undead struggled inside...except for the Lich who prepared a large fire ball spell over his head. The two ice constructs both shuffled infront of you, and the last of the mist was burnt away as the fire ball hit the two ice brutes.

"I call dibs." The Warrior says, holding up the ice sword with a grin. Flexing both weapons, showing that he could easily dual wield both...

"What do we do wizard? This lich will only return wherever his phylactory is. Unless we find and destroy it, this fight is pointless." The cleric tells you.

"..I know where his phylactory is." Morticia said, frowning. "B-but...he's my father..."

"Darling..." The bard held her hand and looked into her eyes.

"Oh....." She bit her lip before looking at you.

"T-the King's general...he intends to make the Princess and her bloodline his phylactory."

"Heh. Well...that solves two snakes with one boot." The warrior laughed, before turning to the lich. "I say we kick his ass here so he can't chase us out, and then go deal with our main quest."

The Lich began preparing another spell at the far end of the room...your group prepares themselves against such a foe...

The lich launches a powerful spell, pink lightning honed for each you...but your spell came up in time before you or your crew could be hit.

"What?!" The lich exclaimed. "No one can block my greatest spell so easily..." You find the spell 'Pink Lightning x1' in your spell sheet...seems absorbing it gave you one shot to return it at the lich. The warrior decided he would engage. Blue and red lights danced around as he successfully brought the ice sword and the fire axe down on the Lich. The Rogue and bard were working together to rig up another bomb but this one red, and cylinder.

"Once this goes, we run out of here." The rogue said, putting an extra long wick on this one. The cleric engaged the lich with her holy symbol held high, and the bard supported Morticia. The warrior despite his earlier success was quickly getting overwhelmed despite divine intervention...

Merging the lightning element with that of your water, you create a new spell, ‘Magenta Maelstrom’. The spell itself is perhaps the strongest attack you’ve had in the entire game so far…

“Get behind me!” You say, stepping forth. The Warrior was thrown back, but was caught in time by the nimble rogue. The cleric went to healing him and you prepared your spell…

“Oh? Little wizard, you think to challenge me?” He brought his hands together and in the span of a moment, the skeletal creature had prepared nearly seven spells. Each represented by different colored orb that shimmered with a different element. “I’ve forgotten more about magic then you’ll even learn - you may have stopped my lightning but can you stop eight spells at once?” The lich continued boasting on but you were still given control of your actions...

Going through your menu, you select the new spell and cast it - and the screen lights up pink, flashing for a moment before the game system rumbled like a thunderstorm. When the scene cleared...the lich was nowhere to be seen but the numbers ‘9,999,999’ points of damage did flash briefly…The remaining undead, without the control of their master began to fall apart - but so did the catacombs!

You cast a speed boosting wind spell on everyone. They were lifted up by mini-cyclones around their legs that would allow you all to hover through the tight runes at a high speed. Without the undead to worry about you could make easy time back out.

“Morticia. Is there anywhere else out?” You ask, as she wobbles on her newfound tornado legs.

“Wuuuuoooh. Uh. Yes! The back entrance leads down to a path that goes to Father’s Acolyte in a day’s walk.” She answered, pointing to a set of stairs, most likely the ones she used to get here.

“Hurmph...sounds too good to be true. How do we know it’s not a trap?” The rogue asked, collecting his blades, zipping around the room before he came to a full stop in front of the group.

“If we are to rescue the Princess and prevent the lich from using her as a vessel, I suggest we move…” The cleric suggested, and to emphasize her point debris began to fall…

“I trust her!” The bard offered, unhelpfully.

“Awww…” Morticia hugged him and the two wobbled in the air.

“I say we spring the trap anyway.” The warrior answered. “They know we’re coming but they don’t know we know that they know. You know?”

“...There is logic in what he says.” You say, sweating a little and dodging a falling piece of stone.

Fleeing behind Morticia, the party is quickly taken to an open field. The hill behind you and all the ruins collapse and while the place is destroyed...you did technically did take care of that issue. For the most part.

Now you had a necromancer who was infatuated with your bard. She seemed eager to please, and she'd be useful but who knows if she'd turn on you when you get to the Princess.

"Morticia, so uuh...you want to help us right? We're gonna...destroy your dad." The bard asks her and she looks down and her brow furrows.

For all intents and purposes, I like living...and if I'm going to become a lich, it's after a long life of other stuff."

"She also knows the area..." The cleric added. "I don't like the presence of her kind, but she is too useful to turn away..."

"Meh. I'll take her out if she turns on us..." The warrior stomped past, heading down a long rocky path...

You listen to the winds, your hearing spreading across miles. Quickly it’s as if it’s a stadium full of people now stood all around you. Focusing you could hear specific conversations before you were pulled to another louder conversation.

Goblins were on the march, heading parallel to you but they didn’t know you were there. You could hear the words of human soldiers to the west of you, also ignorant of you but they didn’t seem to know that nearly an army of nilbogs were they going to the traitor General….however you note you feel..stronger now from your fight with the lich…

You also note you hear the clinking armor of a lone figure is walking south on the same path as you..but towards you.

One man was easier to deal with then an army of goblins or human soldiers. Sending off an aeromanced scout clone to the humans to warn them, you set off. You had a days travel to get to the General’s location according to Morticia. A goblin was to the East of you, soldiers to the West and they were stuck in the middle with a mystery stranger. Your range of hearing meant the person could be near...or nearly half a day away but for now you all simply headed northward.

“There’s someone up ahead. Be on guard. Goblins to the east, marching north. Soldiers to the west are marching north east.” You inform, as you race until the wind spell finally vanished and you were all forced to hoof it on your own speed. Morticia rested on the bard’s back and quickly was asleep, the pharaoh headdress covering her eyes as she napped.

“We can rest, replenish our strength and then hit the general.” Advised the rogue. "Any goblins get too close we can take'em out."

“We destroyed the lich, so it will take him some time to reform at his phylactery, but we must not dawdle.” The cleric said, looking eastward, despite the trees acting like a natural wall she seemed to look through it and at the goblins.

“Sooner we save Princess, the sooner we take out that treasonous General.” The warrior’s arms were now glowing...one was covered in molten lava like armor as he gripped his axe, and the blue sword now made ice veins grow up his other arm. The molten rock ended at his chest and the ice veins developed a large patch of snow that met in the middle.

"Gah! Taste terrible!" The rogue said, spitting out a glob of bread and water.

"The bread taste like shit and the water taste like piss!" The warrior angrily shouted.

"Oh my...did you not practice that technique first Master Wizard?" The cleric asked, but pulled out enough rations and water for the entire group.

You decide to ask the cleric for a blessing. She obliges, kneeling down and clasping her hands together for a prayer. "Holy Lord of the Morning, witness your servant, kneeling in your light." She began and despite it being night, sunlight radiated from around the cleric. You could feel your own spirits lifting, and a sense of protection begin to wrap itself around you. "Bless us in these times of danger, and help us in our time of turmoil. Give us the strength to weather the darkness before your coming dawn." She said aloud. The group each experienced a shimmer of light around each of them...except for Morticia who's nose wrinkled as a result. "Protect your children and save us from evil. Amen." Standing, she smiles to you, and nods.

"Alright. Time to move out." You say but - a figure steps into the light of the glowing auras you all now had..

You go to sense magic - but there is nothing on this man that could be consider anything but the barest sense of magic. The brightest thing on him was a scroll at his waist, which stuck out like a sore thumb on this pretty much magic less man. However to Gyro the player, you do see his name, or rather title 'Goblin Slayer'.

"No, we are not. Who are you?" You ask, cautiously.

"I took the mission to take out for the Goblins. I went to the destroyed bridge, but all the camps they had made were abandoned. I followed their trail but I guess I missed them..." The armored man said. "There were some other monsters north of here, but they weren't goblins so I avoided them."

"What kind of monsters?" Asked the bard.

"Mmmnh. Undead type. Too many for me to take on, even if I had the right equipment." He answers, and answering your fears that the lich had his forces set up with the General now...

"Do you know about the Princess and the General's kidnapping?" You ask, and the metal man paused, before shaking his head.

"I heard the news but since goblins, I figured other adventurers could deal with it." He answered, and he seems sincere. Just looking the plain, unremarkable man and his equipment while simple were all perfect for dealing with goblins.

"Why are you out just hunting goblins? That was the lowest paying job...if you don't mind me asking." You ask, and he looks at you and for a moment you swore a glowing orb lit up under the helmet. You sensed no magic, and the group didn't react too it.

"Because they are vermin and I am the pest exterminator." You feel a powerful chill run down your spin both in and out of character from the dark gaze that looked past the screen.

"Well...uh...they're that way." You say pointing him northwest, the opposite direction he was heading.

"Hm...." He looked back and nodded. "...the goblins are joining the undead. Odd. They would never do that - unless another force is controlling them."

>A. We could work together and take them both out. We've got the undead, if you can handle the goblins.

"We could work together. We take on the undead and you take out the goblins." You offer. The man's fearful aura vanishes as he ponders the request over.

"Mmmh. It would be useful to have you divert their attention away from the goblin forces." He answers, but its clear he's antsy about working with a team.

"We'll make better time if we travel together then." The Warrior nodded, walking up to the Goblin Slayer. "I've heard stories about a notorious hunter of goblins. Didn't think we'd meet you here."

"...bridge is out and there's no port. Plus - goblins." He shrugs, as he then does a 180 degree turn. Your group hastily following behind. Time passes and when the sun finally rises you see it in the distant. A derelict castle, that was long emptied out and its owners moving into the city. The new residence it seems were a large amount of undead, and now goblinoid forces.

Your air clone returns to you, and informs you the human forces are moving to attack both the General and now goblin forces with reinforcing soldiers on the way. Good to know the crown was at least actively assisting the adventurers...

You decide splitting up their forces would be best. The goblin slayer headed off, intending to do some traps that would break up the large numbers of goblins for him to take out personally. Which left you with drawing the undead away. Morticia wrapped an arm around the cleric's and smiled brightly.

"We got that!" She cheerfully said, while the cleric forced one for herself. Meanwhile the rogue and bard prep themselves. The rogue had his stick of T-N-T while the bard flipped through his song book to prepare a song boosting effect. Undead were easy to get noticed if you made yourself visible and bright enough to catch their poor, rotting eye sight and deafened ears. Unfortunately goblins too had an eye for movement, fire and noises. So while you got a majorty of the lumbering corpses, skeletons and phantoms now coming your way, you also had a group of goblins follow after.

A group of undead also followed the main goblin forces when the Goblin Slayer fired off a flare. You feel uneasy, leaving the armored man alone but knew this plan could only work if you all played your part.

Knew you could do it.

Congrats, new void spell Cancel: Necromancy has been learned.

Comes in two variants. A weaker, but mass version that stuns undead by briefly blocking the necro-entropy power or one strong but singular focused spell that makes said undead inert of entropic energy.

I assume you want to do the mass one to give the party a chance to retaliate /or/ you could use your singular version to take out a very powerful undead to give you all a major advantage in the combat.

Mind you all still have goblins to deal with...

Anywho, which shall be, mass cancel or single cancel? The strongest undead include a specter, a wight, a ghoul, and a larger robed skeleton who controls a group of smaller ones.

You decide you need to cast a spell that's gonna take out the baddies but all your spells so far don't have the needed appeal to take out undead. The Void spell's cancel icon flashed and you go over and find that the creatures you're facing has activated a new spell.'Mass Cancel: Necromancy'. Grinning to yourself, you cast it and the undead all stop moving...

Your team takes this to unload all their attacks upon the foes. The goblins crashing into the stunned zombie wall horde. The rogue using this too toss the tnt into the center of the group. The explosion was loud but it was a signal for Goblin Slayer that they were beginning the attack.

"I call upon the Power of the Sun! SUNNY D-LIGHT!" A yellow light of energy poured from her hand and swept across the creatures. They screeched, burning upon contact with the light. The more she focused the light on a group, the more her holy spot light caused damage.

"Now now..." Morticia raised her hands at the stunned big robed skeleton, Then through him, she took over the smaller ones and forced them at the goblins. Surprised, the green creatures retaliated but several were quickly torn apart before the first skeleton was taken out.

"Ah-HA!" The Warrior roared, sweeping his arms. Lava rocks bled out of the axe upon the ghoul he struck, splashing over the monster and cauterizing the wound before it could recover. Next her brought the ice sword down on it's neck. Ice spikes sprouted from his ice-veins and wrapped into the ghoul's head.

"Here Wizard...Song of Seconds!" The bard played a tune..and you feel the power returning to use that spell again...you could use it again for a mass stun or a singular stun again. The other undead not injured or diverted by your party was also slowly able to move once more...The strongest, a wight in armor was closest to you, his ancient sword was pointed straight for you.

Now the special thing about void clones?

They have the skills and talents of yourself and those you clone. Fusing them results in the void clones achieving a 'class upgrade' depending of who's fused.

Now four clones lets you summon four you's, or four other people. Or a mix.

You create four void clones, summoning two Goblin Slayers behind the Goblin forces. They used their short swords to make short work of the creatures. While Morticia then turned the skeletons onto the other lesser mindless undead. A Morticia Void Clone appeared beside her, and she took control of the specter and turned it on the wight that neared you. Possessing the wight, the specter/wight creature plunged it’s sword into the head of the ghoul. Freeing the Warrior run his axe and sword into the heads, and bodies of the walking dead his lava and ice spreading all across the monsters and freezing or burning them in place. A clone of the Cleric appeared in front of the rogue and bard. Slamming her mace down on the enemy, she then raised her hand and sent out holy fire at the dwindling dead enemy. The Rogue ran through the crowd, with the bard running behind him. Pulling out a pair of hunga mungas, the rogue threw the odd axe like blades directly into the heads of an attacking pair of undead. Which he retrieved before the pair even fell down. He was protected by the Goblin Slayer clones and the controlled skeleton. The bard drew out his rapier, slashing it at any creature that came too close. The warrior, bard, and rogue were pushing to the castle now, while the cleric was dealing with the rest of the undead. She joined her clone, raising her hand and sending out a volley of her own holy flame.

You merge the Goblin Slayer and Cleric clones, creating a Paladin like woman who wielded a short blade and buckler. She wore armor like the Goblin Slayer but she appeared to look more like the cleric. She saw the undead and the goblins. Her sword immediately lighting with holy fire as she cut through anything that stood in her way. Soon the small force of goblins were killed off leaving only the undead. The other goblin slayer meanwhile was assisting your other party members, working to open a large door with them. The real Cleric struck through the other side of the fused clones, the two 'Holy' warriors cleansing through each end of the crowd.

The clone Morticia and the real one both took the undead they controlled by making them kill one another. High fiving each other, the necromancer girl raised an eyebrow as she looked at herself.

"Man, I'm pretty..." She said, giving her clone a smooch. The void clone blinked, but went back to assisting with the other party members. You sigh, but you help out the cleric. Using your ring of water, you create a watery hand construct that turned to ice around the head of a zombie. Shattering it took the thing's head with it too.

You try to summon an army of void and elementally fused clones to aid you but the pause screen is pushed by Puntia.

“Mmmh?” You say, looking up. He goes to save the game, leaving you to rubbing your eyes.

“Lessons over...hmm..you still haven’t gotten to the lich…” He said, frowning as he stuck a large cigar in his mouth, lighting it with his thumb.

“Gimme another hour and I will. The game was just getting good, I was learning about magic clones and fusing them.” You say, trying to get the gaming station but it was turned off before you get back too it.

“Gyro….Gyro you’ve been playing all day, besides. You need to see how much you’ve learned. Now do you remember the first spell you made?” Puntia asked, puffing out rings out smoke, then a he puffed out a orb...and a horse, and then a ship!

“Uh...a water clone!” You say, thinking back for a moment.

“Now...think. How did you make that in the game? Close your eyes and visualize it.” Puntia said, and you frown but do as he says. You go through the little windows and menu screens..then you select the Water spells, then to clone, and where you want to place it...then boom your done. Some energy is used and it forms the clone.

“I don’t see how this helps me learn magic but ok…” You say, but you open your eyes to find...well a clone of you. Only blue and it quickly splashed back into water when your concentration broke. “Whoah!”

“That will be your first lesson. Master the water clone and you can play more of The First Fantasy. That boss fight is a real kicker.” Puntia grinned, patting you on the shoulder. Well now. Kado you will be happen to know has learned...

Double 19 got..
>Kaioken from Goku. Before moving onto any higher multipliers she even takes the time to fully master the base state to Full Powered/Completed/Mastered levels before she goes to x3.

Single 19 got...

>Elemental Enchantments. Kado has learned to infuse any element she knows into weapons or armor. These enchantments can be permanent or temporary depending on the energy used.

17 gave...
New technique
>Gyroscope: An orb-like attack with two spinning circles inside. A homing attack, the Gyroscope follows and navigates until it hits the desired target. Specifically made for maneuverability and agility.

You've learned the Spirit bomb from Goku, although the size of Hera is actually bigger then Earth so you should account for this.

You've not only learned the basics of void magic but have had enough time to apply that to learning how to create a water clone in half the time Puntia said much to his surprise...

Finally your sister aids you in mastering magic materialization. At first you can only summon clothing, but over the week you create more and more simple objects until you make...a pair of clackers!

>When Champa and Best Girl
Funny you ask that...

Your training goes well, and you learn much in your week but...a message from Kami has asked you returned unexpectedly...something about a pair of guests? Disappointed you can't get to another game of First Fantasy, you and your sister are told by Puntia that when you return your second step in training will progress...

You teleport back, and Kami and Miss Fortune greet you. Next to them stands another pair. Both of them both you and your sister almost buckle with the pressure you both felt. It was like Prince Kai but infinitely greater...you couldn't even see it's full scope and your senses had well..a sense of vertigo.

"Uh...Lord Champa, Lady Vados these are my apprentices...both possible Guardians for Hera." Kami says, his face holding composure but he was clearly nervous.

"Ahdunno..." The fat cat looks you both over, frowning and inspecting you both up and down. "They don't look very strong. Much less what I'm looking for."

"Oh Champa-senpai give them a chance." The white haired, blue skinned beauty looked at you, and you felt your heart skip a beat and your face turn as purple as Champa's fur. She smiled, blowing you a kiss and even surprising the cat man.

"I-I am Kado -" She curtsied for them and you remembered to bow, several times.

"IAMGYROITISNICETOMEETYOU." ...and if you had sphagetti in your pockets they'd be on the floor right now.

"Heh-heh. Well Gyro-kun, it is a pleasure to meet you." Vados says, and you lean on Kado for support. "Hee-hee, oh my what a cutie."

"What's wrong with you." Kado asks telepathically and you just give her a look of helplessness.

"Idon'tknow!" You reply back...aloud.

"Mmmh..well they don't look like gods, much less Super Gods." Champa frowned turning back to the goddess of woman that you could barely keep your eyes off of. Your sister rolling her eyes at you.

"Super Gods, sir?" She asked.

"Oh yes, I had a dream. A dream that would usually mean nothing but my brother told me he had something similar...before he took his catnap." Champa said rubbing his large belly.

"A dream about ...super gods?" Kami asked, also confused.

"Yes. We sought out the oracle fish, and he foretold of someone strong enough for Lord Champa to use to win a tournament he has planned for his brother, Lord Beerus." Vados informed.

"He won't wake up for a while, and I still have - five more balls to find...but yeah. Th oracle fish told me my dream was about the God of Hera." Champa looked over to Kami, who tried not to cower but he was clearly talking to upper, upper management now. Vados showed you all an image from her staff...a silhouetted man his body covered in a strange green ki and raised hair...Vados simply saying it was a...

"A Super Hera-seijin God."

1. What exactly does Vados see in us? Besides the gunshow.
2. Oh sweet Jesus please tell me Champa's not gonna' wanna' fight us.
3. What's our power level right now?
4. D-does Vados wear leggings or are those stockings?

1. Your young, your cute, and you don't look too dumb. Also this is just pure fanon but...your in luck she likes gingers. Plus she She may see you as a possible replacement for Champa as God of Destruction.

2. Champa doesn't see you as someone worth destroying, much less fighting. Even if you got the Full Powered Hera-seijin mode, you'd pretty much end up getting flicked aside.

3. Currently raised up 1,000 points thanks to a week of training like your sister. 12,200. Your getting there but your still inbetween Saiyan Saga-Namek Saga levels right now..maybe gravity training or something just as intense will be needed...

4. MMh..well I always just thought they were thigh high socks...but they could be either. Gyro could find - and she'd even show him but you gotta do a lot of work for her and Champa to begin such a thing...

Thanks anons, I wanted to do something different to give you a little teaching ...but have it be fun.

Roleplaying, a person playing a game could've been boring so I tried to make Gyro feel really immersed...also its a magic gaming console for magic training so it doesn't follow conventional game rules.

Puntia knew you wouldn't train like your sister, who got the classic Hogwarts treatment. So you got an edu-tainment version.
