You helped Earth’s defenders fight back the Saiyan Invaders and you were doing well! That is until a shiny orb in the sky showed up and they shape shifted into gigantic monkeys. You knew whatever dream this was, it was really getting wild. This always happens when you eat cheese before you sleep, or rather blackout.

Whatever mental image training your subconscious was putting on you it had gotten ten times harder with both of them. You can feel the overwhelming pressure of each Saiyan and so can each of the Z-fighters. The only power you could compare this too would be when you fused with Prince Kai. While the power before you is daunting, a part of you can’t help but still engage. Although the more sensible idea had a better plan.

You needed another power level far enough away to teleport too, but close enough to return to the fight. You clear mind to search without distraction, letting your senses be drawn away from the apes. The apes crashed in closer, and the group readies themselves for perhaps the last fight of their lives… Then you can sense it! The card inside your pants pocket shines red, nearly burning inside of your pants...

“Everyone grab on!” You tell them, your voice urgent enough to not explain. You pull the card out, and it shows the picture of someone with Yamcha’s gi but looks like...Gin-Sin! Earth’s fighters held on, and you could hear Gohan let out a small gasp.

“That’s my Dad, Mr. Gyro!” Gohan said, and you quickly realize just how young the boy is...and he was much stronger than when you were his age. This kid had a bright future ahead of him...if he lived through today.

“Goku?” You ask, as everyone gathered around for you. You focus, and pin-point some distance away a strong power that was heading directly for you all. The card felt warm in your hand and it almost led you through the teleportation zone like a guiding arrow. Quickly appearing and surprising the Hero of Earth. Riding a golden cloud, it zig-zagged around the small group you had in time before it U-turned around.

“Whoa guys! What happened!? I’m feeling some crazy things and double timed it back but...who are you?” Goku said, before pointing at you. Gohan flew to Goku, hugging his father. “HHHHHHHHEEEEEEE ARE YOU A YOS-” Only for Piccolo to slap him on the back of the head.

“He’s not a goddamn dinosaur!”

“Goku! Things got nuts!” Krillin exclaimed flying up to Goku.. “The Saiyans grew these made monsters! Tien and Yamcha took out two, but then - “

“Gyro here saved me.” Yamcha said, patting your shoulder.

“It was fortunate, but we’re now in an even worse situation..” Tienshinhan said, pointing back in the direction of the transformed Saiyans. “Two Saiyans who’ve gone…”

"Ape shit?" The tiny doll like person suggested.

“Chiaotzu! - I was going to say ‘bananas’.” The Triclops admitted, folding his arms.

“Goku, you’ve better got a plan. We’ve got two Saiyans much stronger than your brother and now they’ve...changed!” Krillin said, although his voice of shock told you that the bald man was more familiar with the great apes

“Transformed?” Goku said, frowning his eyebrow perking up.

“They’ve turned into King Kongs!” Krillin exclaimed. "Like yoooooo-aaaaa know a werewolf!"

“But King Kong is a gorilla. They have tails, wouldn’t they be monkeys?” Gohan asked.

“Their power levels have multiplied ten times what they displayed in the fight.” You mention, your Far Sight showing the transformed Saiyans looking around for your group. Your teleportation away acted as a good distraction but if you don’t act soon they may start demolishing the planet….

“Woooh! Great Saiyans, man! It’s kinda like when you went big Piccolo!” Goku’s voice was almost childlike and playful. The direct opposite of Gin-Sin despite their nearly identical appearance. You hold up his card, looking at it and then back at Goku…”I have something that could work but...I need time.”

“How much…?” Piccolo asked, raising a green skinned brow.

“Five minutes or so...but if that their that strong...oh I’m sure you’ll be fine.” Goku said, smiling as he floated on his cloud. “Also I can’t move or fight….” There was disappointment

“...D-did you just hold a grudge?” Piccolo asked and the orange gi warrior just gave a cheeky smile to the green man.

Alright moving on...

You decide it best if the group split up into two teams. One to protect Goku while he readied his technique and the other led by you. Figuring it best to place Gohan with his father, Chiaotzu and Yamcha both seemed like they would appreciate staying behind as guards.

“Piccolo, Tienshinhan and Krillin. I’ll need your help.” You say and can’t help but smile at Krillin’s fear stricken face.

“M-me? W-why me?” He asked panicked. “Wouldn’t I be better guarding Goku? Here. Where it's safe?” He asked, scratching his cheek.

“You underestimate yourself Krillin.” You reassure, nodding to him. “Besides, I’m sure you have something up your sleeves for big guys like them.” You stretch your arms and popped a kink out of your neck.

“Aheh...well kind’ve actually.” You notice his eyes turn back to Goku and Gohan before he glanced back to you. “So uh...what’s the plan then?”

“....Don’t die?” You answer, raising your hands up and shrugging. Eliciting a slap to the face for himself by Piccolo.

“We keep them busy until Goku is ready.” Tienshinhan said, before resting a hand on your shoulder. Piccolo took the other and Krillin rested his hand on the triclops.

“Well...ready when you are Gyro.” Krillin said, releasing a sigh of anxiety out before steeling himself.

“Actually, we should probably fly back. They can’t sense ki right? We can use that.” The three release their grip but each of their auras flared to life as they readied for flight.

“Oh. That’s actually really smart!” You hear Gohan say. “If you use guerilla tactics - “

“Silly Gohan, if their not Gorillas, why use gorilla tactics?” Goku said, patting his son’s head but you immediately understand. “Silly Gohan…” Goku clearly didn’t understand his son’s intellect but you appreciated the pun and just smiled at the father son interaction,

“No, the boy’s a nerd but he’s right - if we can keep them guessing then maybe we can stand a chance.” Piccolo said, nodding to you. You look back and see Goku raising his hands and a familiar sense of deja vu overcame you. The technique he was using reminded you of the Aether’s Crown...only the power he was building was tremendous. In the short time he was gathering power, you could feel whatever he was bringing together it dwarfed anything you gathered in a halo.

“Piccolo. Think you can grow big and hold Nappa in place?” You ask, Krillin having mentioned he did it before piqued your interest. You copied Pamela’s transformation through observation, maybe you could grow big too? Although you just saw two Saiyans go Great Ape, and despite looking at the same shining ki orb that you guessed was the trigger you have yet turned hairy. You would need to ask Cabba about the tail thing...if you woke up.

“Hurmph. It’s been a while but I can do it.” Piccolo grunted. “I’ll be sore as Hell when I shrink so do whatever you have planning fast.”

“We need to cut their tails!” Krillin said, slamming his hand into his fist.

“I kinda guessed that. The Saiyans I know aren’t renowned for having tails or doing the monkey. I’ll create an opening. You three pull out whatever trick you have to get them short. That’s where you come in Goku.”

“Heh-heh. Too bad we gotta send them to King Yemma. Fighters like that would be fun to fight again. Maybe we can spar some time, Gyro.” Goku says, grinning to you, and it felt almost infectious.

“Let’s make it through this fight first before we talk about future plans…” Tien reminded, and you nod. Waving to Team Goku, you blast back through the air and back towards the Saiyans. Knowing your plans, you keep contact with the four telepathically. ‘They’ve gotten bigger ears, which means we shouldn’t speak aloud unless this line is broken, okay?”

“Right. Good thinking.” You hear Tien’s voice think back to you.

“Get into position and attack on my signal…” You mentally transmit your words to the other three before landing behind a large boulder. Finding the Saiyans wasn’t hard, they were tearing the landscape apart looking for you all.

“Find them Nappa, or I swear on my father's non-existent grave I will garrote you with your own tail!” Roared the Great Ape Vegeta.

“Ahm lookin’ Vegeta! ahm lookin!” Nappa the Oozaru bellowed out, Vegeta was throwing mountain sized rocks at Nappa to ‘encourage’ him. The bald beast, flying out of the way in time but the landscape quickly was turning into a landfill. So it was time you revealed yourself….

You decide to eliminate the orb that transformed them Saiyans in the first place. It hung high in the sky and you could feel its energy cascading off of it. Vegeta’s energy inside the orb was recognizable but the powerball itself felt almost natural. Like you were looking up at a celestial object. An idea then sparked, and while you had the option of destroying it you had another method of taking care of the glowing energy orb. You draw in the energy, gathering it above your head and forming a crown.

“There you are!” Roared Nappa, seeing the trail of light from the powerball get pulled over your head.

“Here I am!” You respond, readying to move…

“Gotcha!” The green man’s voice reverbed in your head. Then Piccolo’s gigantic form expanded to full size and used a full nelson to hold Nappa in place.

“Wha-?!” While Nappa was stronger, Piccolo’s pin was successful in keeping him in place.

“Kienzan!” Krillin voice echoed but you couldn’t pin-point where he was. Then a giant spinning blade of ki was sent thru the air. Turning on it’s side, it avoided slicing into Piccolo’s body and Nappa’s giant tail was cleanly cut off. Dropping to the ground, it shrank and so did Nappa. Now all they had to focus on Vegeta. Who’s mouth was glowing and aimed right at you…..

Something’s happening to you….you feel a primal, blood-lusting instinct push into your head. One that wanted to make you lose control...much like the Beast King had. You feel...your head grow fuzzy...and you look up to see Tien raise his hands and shout out two words.

“SOLAR FLARE!” Then a blinding light directly in the large Saiyan eyes gave you the time you needed to find a comfortable spot to hide. The remaining great ape Saiyan stumbled around and Piccolo despite his size now had to deal with a very angry General, who also became blinded.

You try to center your mind and focus on these feelings but you can feel an undercurrent of strength try to sweep you away…

As for other anime stuff. There's things like Shaman King, Medabots, Beyblade, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin and I even had an idea for a few other animus.

I was originally going to a Chrono Trigger based quest. With you as a sort of 'extension' of Lavos that took sentience and a will of your own after you take over some poor SOB's body. (Which results in...bum bum BUUUUM amnesia!)

The teeth in your mouth became fangs, and a long orange tail seemed to ‘pop’ out from your behind. Your growing size quickly betrayed you as your towered over the small rock you hid behind was now crushed under your foot. Raising your giant fists, you bellow out a challenging roar to the Great Ape Prince before you.

“What is this abomination!?” Roared Vegeta, facing you. You slam your fists onto your chest, bellowing out your challenge. Unable to form actual words just yet, but you still felt like you were...you. Your power was now able to match Vegeta’s, but you weren’t used to this form just yet. The new tail behind you slapped into the ground and you nearly create a new canyon.

“RAAAAAAAAAAWR!” You declare to Vegeta.

“Rawr to you too jack-ass!” Then from his mouth exploded a beam of white energy directly for you…

‘That looked neat! How’d he do that?’ You think to yourself, but before you could figure it out there’s a build up of energy in your stomach. As the big beam of energy nearly overcame you, a build up of pressure was released and from your open maw was a power blast of energy from your own mouth. You had seen Nappa use a similar technique before, and now that you were nearly ten times your normal strength you’ve caught on to how it worked. Well for the most part.

The two mouth blasts pushed against each other, and you felt yourself struggle. Almost collapsing against the weight of the Saiyan’s breath attack.

“Gyro!” A voice calls out to you. Not any of the voices you were linked to...no this was...Kado! Your sister was calling your name, but you couldn’t sense her anywhere! If she was in danger, or at risk of being hurt you were unable to help.

“KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-DOOOOOOOO!” You hear yourself say, before a pulse of power pushed through your body and the beam of energy you spewed out nearly doubled in size! The Prince of All Oozaru’s eyes widened as he saw his attack get pushed back at him. He tried to break off his attack, to dodge out of the way but you took that moment to push even harder and without any resistance you hit Prince Vegeta dead on. The armored Great Ape flew back into the same mountain range that Vegeta had been knocked into earlier. “Ha...ha…” You pant loudly, your tongue hanging out. ‘Man, that’s some cotton mouth…’ You think to yourself…

You can see Nappa is actually fairing slightly better than Vegeta. Although smaller now, he was a match for even the colossal Namekian, the triclops and the noseless human. Nappa was drained from transforming back and clearly angry about the loss of his tail….

You hope that that three can keep Nappa busy long enough, while you press your advantage against the Prince. You pause and note that all of your stuff is still laying in a heap back where you left it. Luckily the noseless monk scooped up your things, before quickly dashing away from a raging Nappa. The bald Saiyan would’ve gotten him but Tienshinhan hit him with a beam blast from the end of his finger. A technique you saw Chiaotzu use earlier with the group. Jumping forward, you land on all fours in front of the other great ape. The Super Elite stands up, glaring at you with bright red eyes that radiated hatred.

“D-damn you...meddling little….SHIT!” His aura flared up and it slowly began to push you back.

“Gee. Ain’t I a stinker?” You respond, only causing more anger and rage to build. Prince Vegeta was growing stronger by the moment. So you had to gain a lead on him before he could overpower you. You close your giant eyes, and then sit down. Your large legs folded into a full lotus and you calm your breathing.

“I AM GOING TO KI- hey! Are you listening to me?! I DON’T LIKE BEING IGNORED!” The angered ape ran to you, the sound of his feet causing quakes. In your mind’s eye you could see his fist raised, about to strike…

“LETS GET WILD!” You roar out, your words still a bit slurred and primitive but understandable. You catch his fist, twisting the monkey’s paw around and send Vegeta flying onto his back. As you stand, a transformation revealed itself. The large form of the Great Ape grew even bigger. More tails formed behind you, and your already boosted power level doubled even further.

“You...You’re different. What happened? w-….WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU!?” You could see something in the Great Ape’s eyes. Something that surprised Prince Vegeta himself...you saw fear.

“I...I...am…” You begin to say, your voice not used to speaking with a snout but you believe you can manage out something...

>A. “I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you!”

I am the bacon in the fridge for all living things that cry out in hunger. “ Your words began to confuse Vegeta, just as much as they infuriated him.

“STOP. MOCKING. ME!” He brought his hands back and he was cloaked in an aura of violet. “That’s it! Time to end this miserable world, once and for all!”

“ I am the alpha, and the amega. I am the terror, that FLAPS IN THE NIGHT!” You continue, sticking your chest out and powering up to full strength. Vegeta readied to launch his attack, but you smile and point up above him. “ I AM GYRO and I am a HERA-SEIJIN!” You declare, and Vegeta follows your pointing...to look up at a giant orb of blue energy. “And I’m just the decoy.”

“No….no no no NO NO NO!” Vegeta turned back, raising his hands to try and stop the orb. He struggled, but the gigantic sphere pushing down on him wasn’t budging as much as you’d hope.

“Gyro!” You can hear Piccolo shout behind you. “Now’s your chance!” Piccolo was right, Vegeta was exposed and his back was open. You could end this now. Nappa was struggling to push Piccolo off of him, but both Tien and Krillin each took hold an arm to keep him from moving from under the Namekian’s foot.

“Sai….” You cup your hands together and twin spirals of wind flow down your gigantic arms. Forming an orb of spinning ki in your palms, you compact it as much as you can.

“I am the Prince of All Saiyans! I. will. Not. LOSE!” Vegeta bellowed out.

“Sorry, Mr. Prince!” Goku’s voice was easier to hear with your enhanced hearing. He was above the ki sphere, pushing his hands out and straining against Vegeta. “But we have to beat you now! No hard feelings right?”

“Damn you Kakarot! Damn you to Hell!” Vegeta was getting pushed back now, forced down to one knee and slowly the ground below him began to form a crater.

“Oh, I’ve already been. It’s not bad but they could’ve used more muffins.” Goku said, smiling broadly.

“Kou…” A shining light that was as nearly as bright as Tienshinhan’s solar flare emitted from your cupped hands. “SPIRAL!” Launching the twister, drill like technique the beam flew out and directly aimed for the back of Vegeta.

“WHA-” Vegeta gasped, as he was pushed directly into the spirit bomb. Vegeta was now between a rock and a hard place.

“Goku, move!” You telepathically warn. You push a hefty amount of ki into the Spiral beam. The attack slammed into Vegeta even harder then before and the Saiyan Lord found himself launched into the air, pressed against the spirit bomb. It flew up high into the sky - KRAKATHOOM - and exploded. You look up, searching for any sign of the Great Ape.

“Huh...did we vaporize him?” Goku asked, floating down and landing on your shoulder. Then, the transformation of the Great Ape also had hit it’s time and you felt yourself shrink down. Reverting to your normal mode, you look over to the pinned Nappa. Then you look up, where you had sent the battle born warrior. Without even needing to look with your Far Sight senses, you can spot a small, now tailless form of the Prince slam hard into the ground, right next to him. He’s alive, but barely...

“I’m going to say no….”

What will you do…

>A. “This fight is over. Neither of them can fight anymore. I’d say this is as peaceful of a resolution we’re gonna get.”

Goku chuckles at your nudity, and you quickly cover your manhood and scurry to where Krillin was. You frown at your shredded clothing, but before you have time to lament, you hear Piccolo shout out,

“Clothes Beam!” And you were quickly covered in what appeared to be a simplified version of the Namekian’s gi.

“You know magic materialization too? Awesome, thank you!” You say to the approaching and now shrinking Green man. Who was looking haggard, and exhausted to the point where he fell onto his backside after he gave you a new outfit.

“Hurmph…” Piccolo grunted, but he quietly added, “...welcome.” Before taking a moment to rest.

“Let go of me!” Nappa shouted, but Chiaotzu held up his hands and the Saiyan found himself paralyzed. Gohan landed down next to his father and Yamcha flew over to look at Vegeta.

“Not so high and mighty, now are we?” Yamcha said, a smirk crossing his face.

“Let’s not antagonize the very dangerous space aliens…” Krillin said.

“Hey...you guys did it.” A new, hefty voice grunted and out from nearby debris came a pudgy swordsman. “Ya guys don’t even need a senzu.” He held up a bag, pulling out what appeared to be a couple of beans.

“Oh, hey Yajirobe!” Goku said, waving to him. “Actually, Gyro could use one.”

“Gy...who now?” The tubby man said, looking over to you. “Whoah. What’s up.” He tossed you one of the beans and you look at it. “Don’t look at it, eat it.”

“Ah...right...thank you.” You say and pop the senzu in your mouth. Chewing it, you don’t taste much but once you swallow it, you instantly feel full, restored and refreshed. “Whoah!” You feel uplifted, almost as if you hadn’t fought at all! “Miss. Fortune would love these!”

“Hey Yajirobe, can I see one of those?” Goku asked, and was handed two beans. Walking over to Vegeta, he raises the bean up...and you instant transmission over to him and grab the senzu before Goku could give it to him.

“The hell you think your doing?” You ask, looking back down to the still breathing Vegeta. “We just beat these guys and you want to heal them?”

“Well yeah! We beat them fair and square. I was hoping to get a shot at him, but this time one on one.” Goku said, a grin crossing his face. You stare at him in shock and disbelief. Having mercy on the two Saiyans was one thing but giving them a second chance to kill you, your world and everything you love was just...dumb.

“I appreciate your desire for a good fight but - this is life and death. You can’t be so callous with things like this.” You broke the bean in half, and drop it into Vegeta’s mouth. “There. That should be enough to stabilize him, but Goku...before you pull a stunt like that. Tell your friends first.”

“Hehehe, I guess you're right, but still...man that was some battle.” Goku said, munching on the other half of the senzu.

“....mmmmmh….wha...where am I?” Vegeta’s eyes slowly opened. “I had the worse night-” His vision resting on you and Goku, the Prince’s face twisted in a mixture of anger and defat. “..mare.”

“Vegeta, Nappa. This is your one and only chance. Leave this world and never return.”

“Tch. Like hell! I’d rather die than being ordered by an overgrown Smurf!” Nappa shouted, Chiaotzu beginning to struggle to hold him in place.

“Nappa! Shut up!” Vegeta shouted, sitting up but despite the half senzu he was still quite hurt. “...Fine...I’ll agree to your terms, but know this Gyro. I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine! I will become the legendary SUPER SAIYA-AGH!” You slam your fist into Vegeta’s gut, getting an audible reaction from everyone.

“No, Vegeta. You listen.” Picking him up by his hair, you stare into his black eyes and see...Cabba. The Prince reminded you of the Corporal Cabba, but without any of the empathy or kindness that you saw in the Saiyan you knew. “I don’t care if your a Super man, Mega man, or an Ultra Man. Keep walking the path your on and you will never, EVER beat me.” You release your grip, dropping the Saiyan like a sack of potatoes on the ground. Vegeta remained silent, but he pulled out a remote from his armor. Pressing it and seconds later a sphere like ship floated down. You nod to Chiaotzu and releases his psychic grip on Nappa. He pulled out his own remote from...somewhere. You had no idea where he got it, since his armor was destroyed thanks to your efforts. Another ship floated down and landed next to Vegeta’s. The General then helped Vegeta and the two limped to their ships.

“We can’t just let them go! What if they come back?” Yamcha asked, turning to you and Goku.

“Then we’ll be ready for them.” Goku says, an excited smirk crossing his face. “Besides. We still got the Dragonballs, right?”

“Dragon balls?” You ask, as the two attack balls blasted off into space. “What are those?”

“Oh, you know. Seven orbs that when gathered together can grant nearly any wish.” Goku casually explained.

efore they could answer any further, everything around you began to fade. It was like someone was taking an eraser and cleaning the world around you.

“Whoah, Mr. Gyro! Your fading away!” Gohan said, his eyes widening.

“I guess...my time here is up. Thank you, everyone. This has been a real...eye opener.” You hold up Goku’s card, smiling at it. Whether this was real or not, you felt like you had just made several new friends.

“Bye Gyro! It’s been real!” Goku said waving. “If we meet again, let’s spar!”

“You got it, Goku.” You wave to everyone and they wave back. Then, a sense of being drawn somewhere else overcame you and the surroundings turned black….

“Gyro?” Kado’s voice broke through the darkness, like a beam of light it warmed you and revitilized you.

“Sis…ah..my head.” You hold your head, which felt like it had been stomped on by an Oozaru. “I...had the weirdest dream…what happened?”

“Cabba brought you back and Master Kami brought you here. Master Puntia’s been helping me take care of you.” She said, wiping...tears from her eyes? Had she been crying? You feel a wave of emotions crash over you. Kado had never cried before, at least not in front of you. She had always been the stronger one, but to see her upset was heartbreaking.

“Hey, hey. What’s with the tears sis?” You say, sitting up and your body ached with stiffness. How long had you been out? “Don’t cry. I’m fine, really. I even had a cool drea- ah.” She hugged you tightly.

“Don’t...ever scare me like that again, Gyro. I...don’t know what I’d do without you bro.” She said, and you felt your heart strings get pulled and twisted. She pulled back, revealing twin trails of tears running down her face.

“Aw, sis. C’mon. I didn’t mean scare you. I just - “ Then you remembered Fu and the King of Beasts. “Wait, did Cabba take care of that cat man?” You ask, wiping away her tears with your thumb. You hated seeing her so upset, but could only resolve in just not repeating your little stunt again. You’d have to find Fu the old fashion way instead.

“Yeah, Renso and him took him to their people’s holding facility. It’s suppose to be strong enough to hold things like that.” Kado said, before getting up and sniffling a little. “Look..now I’m a mess…” She said, forcing a smile as she went over to a small mirror to clean herself up. Now you got the chance to look around, you were in a bedroom setup for two people. An empty bed was across from the one you were laying on, which you assumed to be Kado’s.

“...how long was I out?” You ask nervously.

“A week.” Kado answered, and you feel like the bottom of your stomach gave out. A week? A WEEK?

“Hell’s bell…” You murmur. “A week...but it didn’t even feel like an hour or so in my dream…”

“Because it wasn’t a dream….” A third voice, said and a figure rose from the darkness. Dressed in a black suit that looked more like living shadow then fabric. “You extended the Far Seeing Arts, to the point that you moved your mind into another reality. What you experienced while not exactly real, was also not your imagination.”

“That’s a thing?” You ask, as Master Puntia stepped into the dim lighting.

“I’ve never seen it done, outside of specific rooms that were created for that purpose. For you to do so on your own...it’s unprecedented.” Puntia said, folding his arms and the dragon of darkness gave you an unnerving look..

“So! Since your up, why don’t I make you something to eat Gyro. What would you like?” Kado said, clapping her hands together. Her voice returning to it’s normal cheerful tone.

Your stomach grumbled and you think for a moment…

“You know what I like sis, surprise me.” You say as your stomach rumbles loudly again.

“I...have an idea.” Kado says before gliding off, leaving you with Master Puntia. Alone. You wince at your headache but your surprised by a cup of water and two pills.

“For your headache. I can sense your pain from here.” Puntia said, and you nod before taking the medicine and draining the glass dry. Refreshed, you slowly feel the pain wear off. “This phenomenon interests me Gyro. I was monitoring your mental state, to see where the damage happened. Kado helped me in this process and we discovered the scenario you underwent.” He explained. So that explained hearing Kado’s voice out of nowhere…

“I see...so that was real?” You ask, feeling a bit better that Son Goku and Friends actually existed.

“In a sense, but the battle they fought was no doubt much more in the favor of the two Saiyans you faced.” Puntia responded. The dark dragon raised an orb in his hand and you looked into it...and saw the friends you had just made in that dream, and what had happened to them in ‘reality’. The carnage wrought by the two warriors on those you fought beside was drastically different.

“You made a difference, and you’ve tested your abilities when faced with powerful opponents. It shows great promise, young Gyro but you’ve got a long way before you are ready to be the Guardian of this world, and it’s protector against such invaders as the Saiyans…” The orb changed to a different picture, “You defeated the Beast King with the aid of Cabba, and in the past your fights have been with others. The next battle you face - “ It showed you...facing someone much stronger than yourself, alone and losing. Not just being beaten, but dying and it was gruesome. You never saw so much of your own blood and you looked like you were screaming in pain….you saw your own death at the hands of … a giant beetle man.

“Wha…” Well this a surprise, not everyday you saw your own death...did you really sound like that?

‘Enchanto, that’s a silly name!’ Goku’s voice buzzed in your ear, and Puntia raised a brow at your quick checking the card. The dragon mentor motioned for you to follow him. As your headache lessened, you bit your lip as you felt the next question would lead to the same answer,

“This is going to sound odd, but...uhh..your a dragon. What are Dragon Balls?”

‘I told you that already, Gyro. Kami made them, and they grant wishes.’

“...They are sacred objects to my people. Pitaya and I’s father, the Dragon God Zalama made the first set of Dragonballs. Eventually one of these orbs was discovered by a race that was blessed by our father to learn how to create their own. They studied it and through their race, they inherited the ability to create seven orbs that will summon an Eternal Dragon to grant your wish. The orbs are tied to the life force of the wielder.” Puntia said, opening a door to a grand library. It was perhaps the biggest library you’ve ever seen, and it was bigger than the entire Lookout. Books, scrolls, and all sorts of papers flew across an endless expanse of shelves.

‘Whoa, I didn’t know that!’

‘Goku...are you in my head?’ You finally ask, mentally directing your thoughts at the foreign voice.

‘Yup! I dunno how, but I’m here!” Goku cheerfully responded, "Roomy in here..." and you close your eyes and...in your mind’s eye you see him...He salutes you and you physically salute back, but feel awkward as you peek an eye open at Puntia who was looking for a tome…

“Oh...yes. They have lived quite prosperly, and are a fascinating race. Renowned warriors, magic users, and scientists. They crafted the orbs from a Zalama’s own work. I believe one could copy their methods but no other mortal race has done so. Not even my brother and I… There are rumors djinn could do so but to a less powerful degre.” He held up a book to you, a sizeable grimoire that was even heavier than it looked. “This is a copy of the Namekian Book of Legends. Translated from their language. The Guardian of the Namekians brought it as a gift when he met with your mentor, long before you were born.” Puntia, frowned as he noticed your closed eye. Opening your eye, you look at the book and you could hear Goku say…

“Oh man, Gohan would love a book like this! ...does it have pictures?”

You crack the book open, leafing through it and finding an overwhelming amount of words, in tiny print that made your eyes cross. ‘Ahhh! My eyes!’ Goku shouted. ‘So..many...words…’ The martial artist savant was paralyzed by all the letters, and while you fared somewhat better you still need to blink and relax your eyes. You got some information that was relevant though, you needed all seven and had to speak the right language to get the wish...

“Sensei, could we meet the Namekians? I want to go to the Saiyan’s planet too but...I’ve never been off of Hera before.” You say, closing the book for a moment.

“Hm...perhaps. The training you and your sister will be unique for the both of you. I never teach any of my student the same, and I only instruct what you must need to learn and not what you want.” Perking up his nose, he sniffed the air and motioned for you to follow him. “I shall let you eat and rest...but your training will begin.” You follow your nose and find Kado with a nice surprise…and she was surprised by the large book you carried.

‘Foooood!’ Goku cheered, and you almost felt like grabbing everything and shoveling it in your mouth….but before that you...

Kado had outdone herself, setting up burgers, chicken, some cake, rice balls and more. Sitting down, you thank you, and you give a small prayer. Thanking the Kai’s that you got to share such a wonderful meal with company that you truly appreciated.

“Kado..would you mind holding this?” You ask, holding up the Goku card to her. You wanted to see if it reacted with her like it did for you…

“Huh? Oh. Sure, Gyro.” She took up the card, her lips curling to a frown. “...this looks like Gin-Sin but...nicer.” She murmured. “So why did you want me to hold this?” You wait to listen to hear if Goku was still in your noggin. So far there was only silence for you. Kado’s eyes lit up, and she glanced around, surprised by something.

“Who said that?” She asked. “Oh...hello, you're in my head.” She said, looking a the card. “My name is Kado, I’m Gyro’s sister.” She said, responding to what you guessed was Goku talking to her. “It is a pleasure to meet you Son Goku.” Handing the card back, you feel the Saiyan’s presence return to your mind.

‘Your sister is nice.” Goku was pretty upbeat about being card but...was it really even him? “So uh….you gonna eat that?”

“Oh yes…” You say and quickly scoop a burger up, biting into it and your taste buds immediately began to praise the flavors that danced on your tongue.

"So Kado, what have you learned so far?" You ask, cleaning the bones off of the chicken in one bite.

"Well. Puntia-sensei has helped me with my foresight. I still don't have much control over it but..." She frowned and you can tell she's thinking about the vision of your death. "...I've also learned some magic, and have been training my ESP skills."

"Oh? That's neat. What kind've magic?" You ask, picking up the hotdog with all the fixings and chomped it down in four bites.

"Basic stuff. Figuring out how ki and magic connect has been difficult. It works in a very...roundabout way." She said, biting her lip as she poured you a glass of sparkling grape juice. "Master Puntia has said, I lean towards Earth magic, but I've learned a couple of other elemental spells to keep myself rounded."

"Huh. Neat. I wonder what element I gravitate towards..." You ponder on it, and think to Goku, 'What about you Goku? Do you know magic?"

'Magic? No, I can't say I do..but I know plenty of other stuff.' Goku said, 'Man this food is good...' Wait he can taste what you taste? This was something you'd have to get used too.

'So Goku, do you think I could learn from you, since your here?' You ask, remembering the giant spirit ball he had used...

'I don't see why not. Your pretty strong Gyro, I'm sure you're a fast learner like me!'

'And Goku...what's a Super Saiyan?'

'A Super Saiyan? I don't know, I just found out I was a Saiyan only about a year ago...never heard of a Super one. Vegeta mentioned that didn't he?' Goku said, and you frown as you hit a dead end on that name. You nearly finished half the meal around but the long week of unconsciousness made it clear your body was starved.

‘What do you know Goku?’ You ask, as you chow down, nearly shoveling food into your mouth but the content feeling in your stomach was perhaps the greatest feeling you’ve felt in awhile.

‘Oh. I know lots of things. Master Roshi, Korin, Kami and King Kai taught me a lot.” Goku said, striking a fighting pose. ‘I know stuff like the Kamehameha - ‘ He did the technique you saw Krillin and Yamcha use in your dream state, but without the blast wave. ‘You saw the Spirit Bomb, but I also have the Kaioken!’

‘Kaio-what?’ You ask, and Prince Kai immediately came to mind. ‘I’ve met a Kai too, but not a King….though he did become a Grand Kai.’

‘Whoah, there’s a Grand Kai?’ Goku was surprised, but also excited.

“I hear there’s even more above that, too.’ You can’t help but smirk, as you drain another glass of the grape juice. Biting into the cake, you take a moment to enjoy the sweet flavors of the icing and the creamy textures of the desert. Looking at the card of Goku, you raise it back up at Kado and nod to her. “Hey...hold the other end of this…”

“Hm? Oh sure…” Kado held it, and you looked intensely at the card. ‘Hello again Mr. Son Goku.’ Kado’s voice said, but this time in your mind.

‘Oh this is interesting…’ You think and Kado looks up to you, a bit surprised when she heard your voice. Though with telepathy this wasn’t new but neither of you even needed to access your psychic skills when you held the card. It was like you were...linked by the soul.

‘Wow, this is uh…” It wasn’t like fusion which was a complete merging of the two identities, each soul was distinct but in the same body...maybe you could use this in the future somehow? Kado released her grip and you put the card away in a hidden pocket. Keeping the card safe would be top priority, as you had no idea what would happen to Goku...would he be sent back to his own reality or would he stop existing? That and more question piled up as you cleared out the food on the table. Kado cleared away the dishes, the plates picking themselves up as if an invisible hand was carrying them to get cleaned.

‘Alright! Now that the food’s gone, let’s go train!’ Goku said, pumping up an arm. ‘I’m excited to see what you can do, Gyro!’

‘I think...it’s because she and I are called ‘Wild Cards’ I’m not sure but I feel like it’s got something to do with certain people...like you.” You say, thinking back to Fu, the mysterious young man who caused your push into Goku’s fight. He was still around possibly bringing something that could kill you. Handing the card off, Kado was silent but then she smiled and then a white light formed over the card and she materialized a pendent around it.

‘Gyro. It is time to begin your training. Teleport to me, and we shall begin with your first lesson.’ Puntia’s psychic message came with a mental image of where he was located giving you an easier means to Instant Transmit to him. It boomed to both you and Kado, and you felt a chill run down your spine for what you possibly had coming...

Hey man, I think you're a pretty damn good QM and haven't noticed anything besides the smallest of grammar issues that usually plague quests.

But like, I think the biggest issue is that it's a Dragon Ball quest. There's just a stigma against hem. This one's original enough and fun enough that I think everyone needs to just enjoy it for what it is.

Also for surnames, how about....Sandwich.

Hit's going to be the most challenging fight for Universe 6, depending on how strong you get certain Saiyans for your future Tournament of Power team.

Big Purple's gonna be your Piccolo/Pikkon/Ledgic/Vegeta/Toppo in a sense, and you'll possibly be the first person before Goku to really challenge this ancient master once you run into him, or at least that's my plan by the time Fu hires Hit to take you out and your worth his ...well time.

By the time we get to the event of Super, both the show, and the manga will probably have run far enough that I'll have a lot of original U6 material to work with.

Death is possible, but you got pull with the after life, training and...well there will be a dragon ball hunt arc one way or another...may use an original dragon for that.

Also! Romance. Gyro literally has not encountered any romantic possibilities.
I can write some sappy, lovey dovey stuff but Toriyama doesn't do romance so it's not that hard to insert some.

...Caulifla and Kale are options. If you guys just wanna see who just works best naturally that is fine too!

Also we found out Docotor Rota can do MAGIC! So guess who will probably be your Oolong/next magic tutor...

Isn't magic Tuffle Quest shtick? Anyways, I think what I find the must fun in DBZ quests is improvising things with the limited stuff you have. Is something Som's Dragon Ball quest used to do well but sadly never went too far, and Saiyan Conqueror has the QM giving us a fuckton of techniques that don't feel like they make any difference because it's al al power fantasy.

It's something that can give us a much needed boost when necessary, but it has the drawback of causing us to not realize how much damage we're taking, doing shit our body can barely withstand, and possibly sending us into a murderous rampage.
