You soar through the air gazing on the land below, the world looks so different from the eyes of a bird. You see your destination: Clarcton. It's a lot bigger than your home town of Appleby and around the same size as Oakheart. The whole town is surrounded by towering stone walls, and on those walls there are orcs. The wall sentries take no notice of Ulric and yourself, easily fooled by your avian forms. You get the impression that not all orcs will be so easily tricked you'll have to be careful.
You begin looking around trying to get useful intel. Ulric seems more interested in keeping an eye on you than doing actual scouting.
From your immediate inspection some things stand out: The humans seem to be mostly still alive, there are no humans with weapons. Orc guards are positioned in every area with humans and all over the walls. Clarcton has two gates, one of the has been sealed and barricaded with lots of junk and debris piled against it. The other is wide open with a large force including siege machines standing guard. An unusual blue smoke billows from a building. The town hall looks like it's been fortified into a forward base, the orcs' headquarters perhaps. A wide open area has a large amount of orcs gathered for some reason. Another area has a large amount of siege machines lying around unused.
You could return home immediately and report your findings or investigate further. Your polymorph has an abundant amount of time remaining however you feel the longer you stay the more likely you are to be detected.

You follow the odd blue smoke to its source. A moderately guarded workshop. You perch on a window and peer through. Enormous cauldrons bubbling with a blue liquid fill the room. Orc and human laborers busily tending to the mixtures with orc shamans overseeing the production.
Shaman: "Work harder! General says we make more intelligence potion! more!"
The shaman slowly turns and looks at you.
Shaman: "Hurngh? an owl?"
He momentarily returns to overseeing the facility but suddenly snaps back. His eyes narrow.
Shaman: "wait a minute. Owls are night time bird..."

He begins casting a spell.

You quickly dart away and hide amongst some crates. A creature crashes through the window and starts patrolling the skies. Clearly it didn't spot Ulric or yourself. It's a lot bigger than you are and you're not sure you can outfly it. If you try to leave Clarcton it will almost certainly see you. You suddenly recall something Salaman said to you. Summon creatures can be destroyed by Dispel Magic. You've never tried casting it before, but it's in Christof's spell book. You should be able to use it, as long as it isn't too powerful anyway.
The shaman is a worry, he could alert the other orcs dooming you.

Once we attack the summon, we should fly out immediately, try to sneaky sneak observe a little more.
Fly low.
Keep your distance, but don't look like you're trying to keep your distance.
I don't know...fly casual.

Or hop.
Do owls hop or walk?

Oye.
We can at least pick where to start the mad dash for our lives, though.

You decide to avoid the summon for now, after all it could easily be replaced if you succeed in destroying it.
You come out of your hiding place and Ulric emerges from some junk and resumes following you.
You travel at low altitudes to the Orc HQ and fly up to a window on the top floor while the summon faces the wrong direction.

You see an orc wearing a cape and wyvern hide armour in conversation with someone you can't see.
"Chieft- err general. Goblins say 'we no help you'. Messenger for ogres no come back."
General: "I see, then we must face the arch duke's forces alone. How are my warriors morale?"
"Uh what morale general?"
General: "Warriors happy and fight good?"
"Yes general! warriors think we win!"
General: "Good enough, I suspect the humans have us outmatched but if we can hold the line long enough the casualties may be enough to make them abandon Clarcton to us"
The other orc leaves. The general walks out of sight without noticing you.
There is still 1 summon creature patrolling the sky.

I'm actually more interested in the large gathering of orcs, but that's also a large gathering of eyes for bird watching.

You decide you can't waste anymore time and take off as fast as you can. Summon immediately spots you and starts gaining on you fast. It's possible that it can't maintain this speed for very long and its also possible it can't fly very far from its summoner, but those are very risky assumptions to make. You realize that you could also land and turn back into a human, then kill the summon allowing Ulric to escape but then you'd be stuck here.

The creature has a much higher top speed than you but you realise it's much less agile. You begin rapidly zigzagging and changing directions. The beast is aggressively flaps its wings in a futile attempt to break and change direction but you start to easily out maneuver it. You escape Clarcton's air space. The summon catches up to you again but at this point you're very used to the way it behaves. You dive down at top speed and the creature follows at the last possible second you pull up and shoot back into the air. You don't look back but you do hear a solid thud as the flyer crashes into the ground. You don't see it again.

You return to Leefside. You land by the garrison where Christof and Salaman are waiting for you. You return to human form.
Christof: "I'm glad you're both alright, how did it go?"

Confirm leader is intelligent orc fueled by Intelligence potions, general layout, and that they think they are outnumbered.
We can take them, but we need to take measures to reduce our loses.
Also, the humans look like they're being treated okay.

Alina: "Almost died, thank you for asking"
>"I knew you could handle it, so did you find out anything useful about the orcs?"
Alina: "Yeah I got a good look at their leader, looks like he's fueled by intelligence potions. They've put most of there forces guarding their front gate. Oh and the villagers are still alive, they've been forced to work but not like chain-gang crack the whip slaves. They're being treated the same as the orc peons. I'll give you the full details when the Captain is here.
Salaman: "Speaking of which, captain Oakheart and his militia have arrived"
Alina: "ugh, I hate that guy..."
