Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

RAGE! Tapping into a power you didn’t know you had, you’d broken free of your limits and reached a new height of power. But that power came at a cost, with a nearly-uncontrollable rage and bloodlust. With it you’d ended the Third Battle for New Salda, and nearly obliterated your friends as well.

Once it was all over, you learned that less than 14,000 total Saiyans survived the battle, the cities were leveled, and things were looking rather bleak. When Silva informed you that he’d found the lair of Dr. Nefarious, immediately plans were made and you began preparations for your revenge. You gathered your elite team, everyone preparing in their own way for the four month trip then the battle to come. As we rejoin Karn, you’re just waking up after a restful night’s sleep.

Slowly opening your eyes, you find yourself flat on your back in your bed, Meloka sleeping on your numbed right arm, her head on your chest. Looking around, you see Chaya and Broly both still sleeping on the second bed you’d commandered. Your daughter is sprawled all over the bed, somehow upside down with one foot on her pillow, an arm and leg thrown over Broly and the other hanging off the side, the boy curled into a tiny ball and sucking on his thumb. You smile at the kids’ innocence, enjoying the peace and quiet of your room.

Clenching and wiggling the fingers on your right hand, you try and work some feeling back into the numbed appendage. Leaning forward, you kiss her forehead, Meloka stirring slightly. Smiling at her, you run the fingers of your left through her hair, and pulling her closer to you with a somewhat-awake right. Meloka grumbles something unintelligible, eyes squinting shut, wanting to sleep just a little longer. You slide your hands down her back, grabbing her by the bottom and sliding her up you to about your eye level and kiss her again, this time on the lips. She doesn’t move for a moment, then kisses back. After a moment you both seperate, her eyes opening.

“Mmmm, now that’s my kind of wake-up call.” she says, smiling contentedly at you. She leans back to you, you both enjoying each other’s company. After a while, with both of you now well and awake, you remain in bed and enjoy the quiet. No fights to the death, no obligations, no orders, just each other. You see Meloka look to the children, still sleeping on their bed and her smiling at them. She nestles into your chest, humming contentedly. You gently scratch her back, fingertips tracing small circles as you feel the goosebumps pop up over her back. You both remain like this awhile, until Meloka suddenly raises her head.

“Hmm?” you ask her wordlessly.
“Whatcha thinkin’ about?” she asks you suddenly.

Meloka raises her head up, giving you an odd look.

“Just a bit.” she sighs out, laying back on your chest. You both sit in the akward silence a moment, until you ask another question.

“Hmm?” she asks, again raising her head up to look at you.
“What kinda training do you think we can start her on during the trip?”
“Hmmm. Well, she’s too small for real Gravity training yet.” Meloka says, resting her head in her hands, elbows on your chest. “She’s started on the basics with the Guardian too. Maybe helping her with her energy control, or-“
“Momma! Daddy!” Chaya suddenly shouts, launching herself from her bed at you both. Meloka quickly rolling over and snatching Chaya from midair.
“I gotcha.” Meloka says, Chaya giggling in delight as Meloka pulls her close and kisses your daughter’s forehead. “Morning Chaya.”
“Mor-in!” she says, full of energy. She squeezes Meloka tight as she can, then turns to you, leaping out of Meloka’s arms and pouncing right on your face. “Mor-in Daddy!”
“Good morning Chaya.” you say with a chuckle, voice muffled. You talking into her belly tickling her, Chaya giggles and squirms, quickly rolling backward off your face and onto your chest. Meloka smiles at this, you both turning when you hear another voice.
“Good morning.” Broly says quietly and rubbing his eyes, having been woken up by Chaya’s shouting.
“Morning Broly.” you say, leaning up into a sit and Chaya rolling down your chest and into your lap, giggling the whole way. With everyone up, no sense waiting around any more. Getting out of bed, you all get into the ship’s showers, freshening up for the day to come. Once out and dressed, yourself and Meloka with your scouters on, you make you way to the Mess Hall, smelling Silver’s work before you even get there and it making your mouth water. Settling in, Meloka and Chaya on one side of the table with yourself and Broly on the other, you all quickly dig in, savoring Silver’s cooking expertise. An hour or so later you’ve each eaten your fill, Jim rushing and taking your platters away then taking more out to other members of the ship’s crew. Meloka turns to you, and asks,
“So are we just waiting on everyone to get on board so we can depart, or is there anything else you need to do before we head out?”

“Stay on the ship you two!” Meloka calls out after them, and then they’re gone. You’re not worried about them, focusing on trying to find Tatsu’s energy. You find him quick enough, you and Meloka walking outside the ship then taking to the air. A short flight later you find him, Tatsu standing in front of another ruined building with your son in his arm.

“Hey Tatsu.” you call out, landing and walking up to him. The scarred warrior turns to you, looking just off.
“Hey.” he replies. “Aren’t you heading off yet?”
“Not yet.” Meloka says, walking up as well. “Waiting for everyone else to finish their preparations, once they’re all on the ship we’re heading out.”
“I see.” he says, Chilli still sleeping soundly, curled up in his arm. “Be careful out there. He’s surely expecting you.”
“We will.” you say, Meloka taking Chilli back for a moment. “Whatever tricks he has up his sleeves won’t matter, he’s gonna pay for this.”

Just then Chilli stirs, looking around and seeing you and Meloka.

“Maaa?” he asks, looking up at Meloka.
“Yes Chilli, its Mama.” Meloka says, your son smiling up at her. You walk over and put a hand on his head, your son turning to you.
“Daa?” he asks, eyes widening.
“Yeah its me.” you say, smiling down at your son. “Make sure you behave for Tatsu while we’re gone, ok?”
“Taa-uuu!” he says, looking around for the old Saiyan. Seeing him, he holds out his arms for Tatsu, the old Saiyan taking him back.
“Be safe you two.” Tatsu says, nodding to each of you.
“See ya when we get back.”
“Later.” you both say, taking back off into the air. Finding Freeza’s energy is easy, one of the largest active powers on the planet. Focusing on his power, you find the emperor alone in the empty arena.

You charge the pale creature, each step crushing the floor of the arena beneath your feet. It looks surprised at your speed, you reaching with your right to grab it. It dodges your grab, leaping to your right out and past your arm. You follow it, stomping with your left foot and pivoting. You catch it off guard, you slamming your left forearm into his chest. Taking the momentum you leap forward, slamming the pale creature into the wall. It crumbles as you slam him into it, you leaping back as the wall crashes down onto him. You laugh maniacally, gathering your overflowing energy into your right palm, light distorting around your rising power.

“DIE!!” you shout, tossing the ball of energy at the ruined wall. Your attack hits something, exploding in a geyser of power. You see the creature leap up and out of the blast, taking to the sky. Not giving it a moment, you dash up at it, swinging right for its face. It twists and dodges your punch, kicking you in the side of the head. It looks completely shocked as its strike does nothing, you grinning maliciously.

“Got you now.” you say, grabbing it by the waist and lifting it over your head and rocketing towards the ground. It struggles to escape, slamming elbows into your and and smacking your head wirh his tail. All of his strikes are ineffectual, you reaching ground level quickly and slamming the pale creature headfirst into the ground, burying it to its legs.

“I can’t believe what I’m witnessing, this Saiyan seems to have the upper hand against Lord Freeza!” someone shouts from behind you, you turning and looking over your shoulder.

“Why stay over there?” you ask, gathering energy into your palm again. “Come join in the fun, we’re just getting started!”

With that you toss the energy at the speaker, you watching someone its with flashing gold, firing another blast at yours and detonating them both midway. You smirk, remembering that glow. Before you can go towards it, however, a blast hits you in the back, you turning to see what it was.

“You’d better not ignore me, Karn.” the pale alien says, having unburied itself, purple aura flaring around him. “I haven’t even gotten started yet! SHAAAAAAAA!!!”

With that it rushes headlong at you again, ready to resume the battle.

You recover first, grabbing his arm in your hand, lifting him up then pitching him down at the ground then dashing at him. The pale creature flips over and through the air, landing on his feet with a crash. Looking up, he’s taken aback that you’re already on top of him, stomping down at him. With no time to dodge, he simply crosses his arms overhead to block your strike, you stomping and driving him down into the ground like a hammer driving a nail. You leap up to stomp down again, the emperor exploding out of the ground and rushing you. With a mighty shout he catches your chin with a massive uppercut, the force of the blow managing to knock you off balance a moment. You fire a left jab in retaliation, gathering your power into your right palm. He dodges past your jab, but unfortunately for him he dodges to your right. Right where you wanted him. You catch him in the stomach with the power gathered in your palm, swinging forward and blasting the alien away.

“GYAAAAAAAA!!!” he shouts in pain, sent crashing hard down into the forest outside the arena. Your energy is rising higher and higher, you have to release it!

Before you can react, he dashes towards the ground, intent on slamming you down. But before he can toss you you grab his tail, flipping and instead slamming him into the ground. You slam him over and over by the tail, digging a massive crater with his body. After the fourth slam, he points a hand at you, firing a wave of energy at your face and torso. You drop him, crossing your arms in front of you and blocking the blast. It sends you sliding back dozens of feet, you uncrossing your arms to see him standing unscathed before you, looking really pissed.

“SHAAAAAA!!” he shouts, firing a wave of energy at you. You cross your arms before you, taking the brunt of the blast on your arms. He fires wave after wave, you blocking the attacks as they push you further and further back. The waves finally stop, and as the dust clears you see him simply standing there and waiting on you, turning a hand up and giving the “come here” gesture with a finger. You grit your teeth, he’s mocking you!
