>How will't thou corrupteth ye olde fantasy setting?

It's been about three months since your summoning to the mortal realm, but you've been busy all the while. Your fiendish schemes aren't going to carry themselves out, after all! Already you've amassed a group of servants about you, and established your own little profane stronghold in a country estate. Even back in the Hellscape, your infernal minions have maintained a stout fort against your enemies... though it could always be better. Whispers, rumblings of other infernal denizens looking upon your actions here in the mortal realm with envy, anger, or even fear. You wouldn't sit idly by in their situation, so why should you expect them to?

Particularly when, you've got an army of imps to keep track of now, and something of a strange "family" of mortals to mind and appease. Nobody said it was going to be easy to build power, and carve yourself out a chunk here in the mortal realm, though. You're up to the challenge, right?

Ooh I like that ID color!

>>2335553

As of the present, things are going quite well for you and your followers even if there is a lot to keep up with. With all your mortal slaves... "friends" in the know about your true nature, you no longer need to disguise yourself anymore unless you travel from home. Most everyone is busy with what they or you have set them upon, however now you've got quite a large number to keep track of. There's your original few friends, a growing number whose souls you own and are basically slaves, and now you've got your very own coven of witches to keep track of! And of course, as always a veritable army of imps to mind.

In any case, your own little estate is looking quite well now however it is terribly overcrowded with so many new people. There's been talk and ideas of a guest house or houses, something like that, but you don't want to end up growing your own little village here for your growing flock. Far too suspicious... but then spreading them out is worse! Yes indeed, quite the predicament to find yourself in, but at least you're not short on success by any measure, as all the benefits of a devoted and productive workforce and following are pouring in.

Now, if you can just get all your schemes in order...

>How do you proceed?

>>2335556
Let's get started on the house expansion on the guest house so it isn't a crowded.
>>
>>2335809
With imp work that can be taken care of pretty quickly. If people, outsiders have a reason to look around though, it's going to be suspicious if you start getting buildings cropping up all over your property. Nobility can gather folks around them, but you're amassing a small army here, of outwardly shady folks. Just a consideration.
>>
>>2335833
It's alright, we'll be okay, they can pass as more servants for the grounds

Getting some uniforms is also a good idea
>>
>>2336046
Very well then, anything particular you had in mind? Or just a general size expansion? You can set it to be worked on of course while you focus elsewhere.
>>
>>2336064
General expansion to the guest house, more rooms maybe expand some of the key rooms like kitchen and living room etc

And teaching and learning with Merryl and coven
>>
>>2336222
The imps will be on it! Expect it done in a day or two, maybe three.

Meanwhile, this morning at least you figure to get more accustomed to the collection of witches living under your roof. The general idea with it has been to gather together and combine efforts and power towards goals. To be fair, having them around has been quite interesting and provided much help and benefits, a lot of promise for sure. But mostly since they were all strangers to begin with, there hasn't been much unity or cooperation. Mostly just each going about their own business and pursuing their own goals while you may well reap the benefits.
>>
>>2336268
Let's begin with starting group cohesion and familiarity, so they get to know each other and work better together
>>
>>2336283
How would you like to frame that? Call them together over breakfast, or some group effort? Just a friendly experience, or do you want to manipulate them towards an end? Either way, make a roll for the effort! d100

Not amazing, probably not what you were hoping for, but a step in the right direction. After breakfast and those with professions to see to taking their leave for the day, you turn your focus to the assorted witches. Seeking to gather them together and form a proper coven of the lot, you plan a cooperative effort and see what they're capable of, what they can manage together. And in the process of course, learn more about them.

The actual effort doesn't go as planned, cooperation devolves into bickering and separation, though no outright hostility or ill will. Just witches being witches. You do however get to know them as people better, learning their names and specialties. And of course they're all sufficiently devoted to you, it's just a slower process, not an impossible one. You can probably pull them together over a proper task which would benefit you or your goals. Maybe encourage them by seeing who can do the best, or prompt them to cooperate for that purpose.
>>
>>2336571
I have nothing for now so let's just keep getting close to our witches for the remainder of the day and also send off Ordan and the orcs to look for a good place to start setting up a fort of sorts

Also going to bed

>Another demon thread, yay
Oh Hi~! Here is another wall of text~!

(Kidding, kidding!) ...maybe...

Anyway... Did we made some significant timeskip from last thread or it is more or less "next day" and nothing happened? Because there are like three A4 pages full of watdos and some of them are urgent

>more space get
Whole coven is living with us now? Sigh...
Ok, I know imps are already doing something, but after they are done lets just stop building and expanding houses and focus our efforts underground and use our hellmagic to do proper space expansion inside current structures. And if we can go as far as making our own personal dimension that is accesible only by those who are keyed into it, that would be awesome.

>witches
they may have their own ideas about their new housing, what they need or want. find out about it and tell imps to do it

>fort
and we need it for what exactly?

>wat do
Before starting new things, we should really try and clear our backlog first. There are tons of stuff we started and never finished, loose ends we need to tie up, etc. Sometimes I feel like we have attention span of a goldfish, because whenever something shiny appears, we drop everything and follow it blindly.
>>
Expect to start around the normal time, but can drop by now and then, till then.

>>2336628
>>2337698
As with the previous thread, things have moved forward by about a month, giving the actions of last thread time to settle in.

The situation with the housing and a fort is in part to thin out the amount of people living in/around the estate. The more there are the more attention it will attract, that before long you could expect being noticed negatively by outsiders. Since the previous owner of the estate kept to himself, folks around the area over the years have expected the place to be sleepy, but with your presence now activity is on the rise. Of course there's probably many available options to deal with this, from thinning out your "flock" to maybe expanding underground. But the point is, more people and activity means being more noticeable. Maybe that's not a concern of yours though.

In any case, if you have a backlog of course you can set about clearing it. Now though you have a lot more help than you did say, a month ago.
>>
>>2338375
Let's send the orcs to scout, we need a place to fall back to incase something bad happens here
>>
>>2338519
I take it you're looking for a place which is stronger or more defensible than your current estate? Or someplace that is more hidden/out of the way?

Either way you can specify to them what to look for and they'll head out. And of course make a roll for them and their success.
>>
Rolled 72 (1d100)

>>2338375
You relly want that wall of text, dont you?
For the rest of you guys, here is The List (again) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BfRerLPqkeWTlMGd3VN6aXdFmgq3ScouP8TrjluXkSo/edit?usp=sharing

>>2338519
>>2338608
I guess it makes sense in the long run afterall.
Also, why not both? Remote and defensible location, how hard it could be to find one? But if we really need to choose, out od sight is out of mind - security by obscurity.
>>
>>2338633
And to be more precise about place we are looking for:

- boring place where is nothing of interest, so nobody goes there (might be anything anywhere, really)
- dry and solid piece of land in the middle of bogs and marshes
- caverns or hard to reach pass in mountains/hillside
- deep dark woods are evergreen when it comes to hiding illicid affairs
- ruins, burial mounds, allegedly cursed places
- combination of anything above
- also watch for places that are known to general public and "brave" people are going there to do "brave" things on regular basis
- and also ask witches if they are aware of something
>>
>>2338633
I know what the list is, I'm saying you can't just shotgun blast at it and say you want it done lol, devote your focus to things and hammer them out.

As for a location, if the scouting team does a good job and is lucky they could find something strong and hidden, but chances are usually if the place is strong or well built, it wouldn't remain secret. Folks don't go build a castle in the woods and then just forget about it.
>>
>>2338633
Nice
>>
>>2338669
Oh I know we cant do it all at once. What annoys me is simple fact there are so many things that even asking about more then few of them will generate stupid amount of text. But for the sake of crossing some of them out, here goes:

>what happened to those 6 beings we won in bet
I made some suggestions at the end of the last thread but then it died for good

>nobleman from party
anything noteworthy happened with/about him?

>how is Elen and Cili doing
I presume we were not twiddling our thumbs and were actually working on them to alter their minds so they will give us our souls and not leave us

>Is Nalas ring the One Ring or just another cheap magic trinket
somebody in da house could surely identify it fo ur in past month

>Perrins and Muellers
I still have vague plans, but atm I just want this out of the list, really...
>>
Ok back and ready to go, let's see what's up.
>>
>>2338633
>72

So the orcs depart on a scouting effort to find another potential location to make use of. Though it's not only orcs now, a few others have joined your little militant force side of things. They'll return as soon as they find something suitable, if they can.

In the meantime, while the imps work on renovations for the guest house, you focus on more immediate matters pertaining to you. Namely, some unfinished business you've been meaning to take care of.

>>2338718
Of the six beings you won from the bet as well as the fighter you bet on, they've all come into service of you in varying ways depending on what they're good at. So like the fighter for example sided with your little armed force, while others joined the growing number of just poor unfortunates who slave away for you. Probably could get your own little workshop or cottage industry going sometime. Though a bunch of soulless people wandering about is likely to attract attention eventually.

Since the party though you've tried to keep up with the nobleman but he's quite keen on coming to visit every now and then, about once a week or so if you'd have him. For enjoying your and your lot's company, as you promised him. Fine for you as far as you're concerned since he brings favors and gifts, and has promise of his title and resources you could exploit. The good news at least that he didn't just flee and is wholly interested in sticking around, though maintaining his own life on the side of course.

Elen and Cili meanwhile, with your ongoing efforts are now quite soundly in your pocket. Merely your choice over whether you want their souls or just keep them around like your other devoted friends. Lastly for the two families, the Perrins and the Mullers, you can devote attention to them but what did you have in mind? Whether it be direct or indirect.
>>
>>2339742
>6 gyus + bull boy
Unless there is something noteworthy about them, I am going to write them down under generic workforce/guards and forget about them for now.

As an afterthought, can we turn Mila and Lucas into overseers, so they can command and direct everyday life of our workers, imps, and stuff? We cant micromanage everything forever and some help will free our hands here. And in case these two are not exactly up to the task, offer proper changes to them (i.e. make them more intelligent etc.) Ordan is already commander of our growing fighting force, so here no changes are neccessary. As for Merryl, I presume she is/was atm sticking with witches and learning the craft? After she surpasses them, we can put her in charge of coven.

>nobleman
not sure what to do with him right now, but since nothing bad is happening, I am putting it on back burner

>Elen and Cili
Lets acquire their souls, change them to their (and ours) hearts desire and put them on very subtle scouting duty. Cili may bring us more elves that are willing to throw away their souls, while Elen is our inroad into the pagan community (she can go to other pagans and tell them that maybe there is somebody better and more capable they can serve). But again, for both of them, subtlety and light touch in combination with properly selected victims is the key.
>>
>>2339742
uhm, forgot about Perrins and co... I just wanted to know what happened to them after we left. If things escalated even more (or not) and if somebody went there and was asking questions about us (which means inquisition is on our tail) and so on. P and M are merely another loose end we may need to tie. Or not. Depending what we learned about them.
>>
>>2341026
You had already sent an imp to monitor them, by now you can have learned what's up. As it so turns out, things did escalate a fair amount. By your suggestion the eldest daughter did elope, the hired help did pilfer anything of worth before skipping town, and there was a killing which took place after several spats between families. Eventually it seems the local lord had to intervene, and the farmsteads look pretty bleak now, since everyone got ousted when corruption was noticed. Though probably as an effect of actions which transpired, rather than the indicative presence of a demon.

>>2341018
That's a fair assumption, within a month you've factored anyone new to what they'd be best at. As for overseers, Mila and Lucas could manage. Mila handling the affairs of the estate and Lucas managing any work, he lost his job so it would be a welcome change. Though with so many more ladies around and a lack of care for propriety, he does find himself more... occupied at times.

Merryl meanwhile has already come into a position of leadership among the witches. Partly for the relation to you, partly for how much your improvements to her have benefitted. Both in terms of looks, personality, and competence. It isn't (yet) at a point where she's some authoratative matriarch or anything of them all, but she is respected and heeded and she keeps them organized and manages them all. In turn, from them she's learning what she can of course.

Lastly for Elen and Cili, you can get their souls by now sure. Cili is more willing, though Elen only relents if you make the stipulation that she cannot be used to bring more pagans into the fold. Otherwise she won't make the deal. She's willing to serve but she won't be responsible for dragging more of her people along with her. Still, two souls and one of them willing isn't a bad thing.

In any case that should help thin priorities out. Another busy day of getting back in the hang of things and getting your affairs in order. How would you want to spend the evening then, considering how busy the estate is?
>>
>>2341825
Nice and nice.

>Cili and Elen
Hmpf... Lets cut or loses here for now and get both of their souls. I really wanted those pagans but we have coven now and there are still all these juicy ill people just begging to be cured... And since Lucas is obviously used as walking talking dildo, C and E will be more usefull as his helpers (assuming they are competent enough). If not, then just let them do whatever they want, as long as they do not endanger us and ours.

>wat do after that
Now another thing that we should do is look into Ren and Nalas life, and since we stil have that pirate map, lets check everybody from the crew. Send imps to scout the properties and locations, what is there, who lives there, and in case the house is empty order them to clear the place and make it look like its occcupants moved out. Also we want permanent spying on stil living crew members (we dont want another Flying Ship Fiasco)

> also hellscape or nomming the souls
We have some souls left, perhaps upgrades are in order?
Also we may want to upgrade ourselves via soul consumption. My aim here is to get some long range attack abilities (hellfireball get), wings, or something fancy. Dunno if we can get it tho or how many souls will it cost us.
>>
>>2341908
Not a bad idea to follow up on the missing lead about Ren and Nala. You can set some imps on that sure, and expect results in time. Aside of that you can snag Cili and Elen's souls this eve, and set them upon their tasks.

For your own self, there's a ton of souls now you have available, to do with as you please. Being able to sling fireballs isn't something you would gain by eating souls however, it's just something you can do with enough practice and within an area deemed your domain. Same with most Hellscape abilities you may have had, it's just a matter of practice and getting used to them again/relearning them through a material body.

Wings are different though, you only get granted those for a special, notable deed. They are quite rare indeed, and more of a sign of status than anything.
>>
>>2341937
How long until the orcs return?
>>
>>2341976
You sent them out this morning, probably a day or two at least.
>>
>>2341981
Cool, cool

Also, how have we been doing with vampire Lady? Does she need anything or can we help or something
>>
>>2341993
I suppose it's up to you if you're interested in reaching that point with her. So far it's kind of just been the occasional contact via letters now and then, and you gave her an imp. You can keep it like this if you want, or you could try reaching out to her again. With your growing power, the situation is not the same as it was of course.

Maybe even try to lure her into your service. Or remain friendly and on even footing, your choice.
>>
>>2341937
All right, sounds good enough. Also no soul consumption now, but that leaves us with hellscape. I think upgrades are in order - 2x imps and 1x armory. We have 3 dead goons souls, use them. This should give us even better imps, maybe proper fliers even and weaponry so in case of emergency imps can arm themselves and be deadly (long range weaponry would be nice too)

>wings
what one needs to do to get them?

>vamp lady
we can contact her, but i am still unsure how to use her (same thing as with nobleman, generally, there is no clear plan and we are not focused at nobility atm). I think we should postpone this at least until more things from our past are resolved, we acquire that fort/secluded place to fall back if things get out of control, etc.
>>
>>2342014
>needs to do to get them?

Something special and notable. If you manage, you'll get wings, you'll do better that way than actively trying to get wings.

For the nobleman you could always try and snag his nobility, then you'd have an actual title rather than just a fancy house. Or manipulate him for his resources, or what have you. The vampire is different for her potential danger, but she's nobility as well, has resources and all that.

In any case you want to spend the night then down in the secret room bargaining and trading away souls for upgrades below?
>>
>>2342044
Pretty much. Unless other anons have better ideas...

>wings
i was merely curious about what is seen as "special and notable", trying to get the wings actively is sure way to not get them at all, ever and I doubt we want to use all our resources on it anyway.
>>
>>2342059
It totally depends on the deed. One demon doing one deed at one time could count, and the same demon doing the same deed at a different time may not. And/or variations of this aside.

Again, it's not like a "Steal 100 souls and get wings!" sort of deal, it's more situational and like an added bonus to something. For example there are imps with wings and there are arch demons without wings.
>>
>>2342059
Right now getting a title and vamp lady's actual support seems like a good idea, cuz right now we're stuck in the grind of our witches and stuff
>>
>>2342093
We can look into it in the morning then. And we should start with the nobleman first (OP, whats his name?)
>>
>>2342105
>>2342093
That would be Lord Merou, a minor noble of the region. You do have an inroad with him already and he's pretty corrupt, but why shouldn't you want a higher noble with a higher title? Oh no, that would be overreaching yourself of course! No no, minor nobility is just fine.

So then, resolved on the soul upgrading for the Hellscape situation? If so you can bargain them over, and head to bed.
>>
>>2342145
basically it would be nice to resolve all of this >>2341908 tonight, because we are demoness and sleep is for mortals.

>lord Merou
we know any other bigger noble around? besides he can introduce us to his betters just fine. Who knows, we may end up corrupting the king (or whoever is in charge)...
>>
>>2342173
This small guy should be enough, make ourselves a lesser noble

>>2342145
Is he single?
>>
>>2342235
He isn't single but if that was your goal, do you really care? Worst come worst you could just appear as his current wife, but I'm sure you could find other avenues.

>>2342173
Well it seems to me you've already dealt with most of those problems in hardly any time at all, save for ones which will take time for imps or orcs to scout out.

As for the lord of house Merou, it's almost impossible that he wouldn't know higher ups than him. Though that's a process itself altogether, if you want to worm your way into the nobility and climb and climb, like the vampire did. You feel confident in assuming that Bourdillon was not her birth name for example.

And it may well lead to great benefits, would that you could attain a high position of state. A Lady? What about a Countess? Or more? Though it's something you'd have to pursue separate of your present dealings so far, kind of hard to manipulate your way into families of worth when you're trying to focus on your own little slice of the mortal realm and servants. A word of caution though, in that the higher up you may climb, the closer you may come to higher ranks of church and faith. Because Dukes and Kings don't just go to a simple priest for ministry, they invite bishops into their homes and such.

Although... why shouldn't you want to be a queen for example? What's the point of rising your stance in the Hellscape, only to remain a nobody in the mortal realm?
>>
>>2342852
Hmm, would he be willing to replace his wife? Make her have an accident? Is he corrupt enough
>>
>>2343056
You'd have to see for yourself of course, but you could probably get him to go along with such an arrangement sure, with some manipulation.
>>
>>2343170
Let's go and talk to him then, plan the idea (subtly!) of letting us taking her place
>>
>>2343259

I have time to write more now, so here is the plan:
- social visit! Get nicely dressed, surprise him with our lovely presence, bring small gift (there must be something in our hoards he will like)
- talk about his status in nobility, relatives, friends, foes, etc.
- before we even think about starting anything, we need to know his own goals and desires too
- becoming new and improved wife would be detrimental in long run, some distant family member is much better idea (cousin, legitimized bastard,...)
- we also need to know who knows who( if nobility is just big family where everybody knows everybody through one or two hops, we have a slight problem)
- and we need to know how much is clergy entwined with current power structures, how often they interact etc (generally speaking, we need to avoid contact with holy church as much as possible)
- if everything goes good, propose him we can help him more directly if he can bring us into nobility subtly, so we can work from the shadows (and if he perchance knows about castle, manor, or another insteresting structure we can reclaim as our own in the process, it would be splendid)
- idea here is becoming friend, advisor, and ultimately Éminence grise to control everything through puppets (It may not be house Merou in the end, but he doesnt need to know that now, does he?).

But in general terms, I see two major problems if we actually try to follow this through:
1) we must drop everything and focus solely on nobility, which means our estate and stuff around it will stagnate at best, and crash and burn at worst.
2) OP already stated it - church. So far we were able to avoid holy guys because we are living in the middle of nowhere and priests are few and far between. This will however change dramatically as soon as we start corrupting nobles and try to climb the ladder. We are much less subtle than vamp lady and we will either start atracting attention or bump into priest who is good enough to know instantly we are a demoness. So, just a fair warning here.

So after meddling around with the Hellscape through the night, you do try to get some sleep and find two of the witches still awake doing their own things. Night owls. Anyway, you get some rest and awaken the next day, up and at it to pursue your scheme.

Over breakfast you talk a little about your busy schedule, so leave things in charge with your servants. Lucas can handle the workforce, Mila can handle the day to day of the estate, and Merryl can handle the witches. As an aside to that, anything you want to set the witches on, some task while you're gone?

The rest in any case, the scouting force and imps, you can expect for when you return. Already the expansion to the guest house is complete. But to your own purposes, you adopt your mortal disguise again and get washed, dressed, ready to go out and impress. Taking your horse, you make the trip along the country roads back to town and then further out again since the Merou estate is to another side. You can reach there by around midday, having gotten directions along the way and crossing some fields to reach. Unlike yours the place isn't gated but nicer anyway, and you're met by a steward who welcomes you and offers to take the horse.

A little disappointing to learn though that the lord is not presently in, but he only went to meet with an associate a farmstead or two over so he should be back before long. If you'd like you can wait inside in the meantime. A servant will see you inside, where you're greeted by among others, a few family members. The lord's son, a daughter too and his wife as well as a couple cousins here to visit. They're all pleased to meet you and the ladies are eager to make an impression but you're free to spend the time with whomever you please, or doing what you wish while here.

lets socialize then! no time like the present to learn more about nobility and their quirks (and this family). For the witches it's kind of like how you can fabricate your own rituals, there's enough of them in your little makeshift coven with diverse enough skills, that you could set them on nearly any task and they'll try to work together to find a way to accomplish it. Whatever they can't complete on their own they can also rely on demonic summoning, for which I assume you'd want limited to your own Hellscape minions but they're more than happy to help and happier still to get a chance topside.

>>2344513
From what you can tell, they know who you are as a mortal but not much, just a wealthy lady from some small estate in the region. The actual truth about you, none of them are aware from what you can tell. It's difficult to get a sense of them but this is just a sign that the lord keeps his corrupt side a secret and probably to some hidden place of the house or grounds. Being mortal they're all a little corrupt, though his wife has a much higher amount than should be normal. She doesn't seem like a rotten person though so you can probably chalk it up to corruption seeping off onto her from the lord, sort of like osmosis. His partaking of the hellish party and frequent visits to you have massively corrupted him of late, so even just spending time with his wife from eating and talking together to going for a walk, the weight of his sins are bound to bleed onto her a little.

Still, from what you can tell, none of them seem particularly evil or corrupt, just more some in different ways as per what sins are their weaknesses, like anyone. One of the cousins seems more devout but not in a way that they're alerted to your nature, and again they're just visiting so it's not like you have to worry about coming by or staying here.

Still you socialize with them as well you can. You're not able to chat up all of them since the men don't hang around when the ladies are socializing but to those you do make an impression and reach friendly terms. All well and in time for when the lord himself returns about an hour or so later along with a friend. Greetings all around but he does his best to hide his feelings at seeing you; delight as always, but some fear towards your presence and the risks it may bring. Everyone is aware of your business here though so it shouldn't be untoward if you were to find someplace else to talk together?
>>
>>2344534
>witches
well then... how about wide area cloaking/misdirection spells? so we can hide the estate and grounds (or anything else) from prying eyes and anyone who will try to actively search for it and gets close will suddenly loose all interest and wander away to do something else? Obviously there will be whitelist of people wo are allowed to go inside the warded area.

>lordling
walls have ears, lets take our coversation out to the grounds, make a stroll, so nobody can listen to us talking. but be alert anyway... might be good idea to ask about his family and if he thinks they can be persuaded into the scheme
>>
>>2344561
and if somebody asks why the grounds, dear good lord here told us much about it and we want to see it. So why not do it while talking business and save time?
>>
>>2344561
Supporting, somewhere where we can't be heard
>>
>>2344561
Sounds good for the most part. I agree a walk in the gardens sounds lovely and it is likely our superior senses could detect any would-be snoopers.

However, I'm more interested in the connections the lord can provide than his family directly. For example, he may be able to get us into elite balls and parties or tell us about other corrupt nobles. He might also be knowledgeable about threats like firebrand nobles or the church we might want to specifically look out for. While the lord is somewhat powerful locally we need to set our sights higher to continue to develop our security.
>>
>>2344561
For the witch one that's pretty creative, and they might even be able to manage without involving corruption, like the pagans do. Make a roll for their effort in the meantime. Though worth noting, if you do this, it will cut down on the random happenings by of people, of which you've certainly benefitted from thus far.

>>2344570
>>2344581
You ask to go for a stroll around the manor then, they don't have a garden here but the grounds are still nice and a tour is in order. Perfectly fine as far as anyone is concerned.

Once outside though and some privacy afforded, the lord seeks to lavish you with affection and praise and would do most anything for another kiss. To seek your favor even more he has a gift for you as well; a newer serving girl whom he's elucidated a little already to the scheme going on, and he knows would deal her soul away for simple favors.

Good boy, maybe you'll reward him in time. For now though business. First and foremost his family, which you learn, he doesn't think any would be so easily dragged into the scheme and furthermore he wouldn't want that. Though of your own confidence you're sure you could lure any one of them eventually. You also have a strong interest in what he can provide to you in the way of resources and connections. He must admit that he's not as versed in the town-side of the noble scene but he's sure his son or daughter could get you in to such fancy events. Or if given time to reestablish connections, he could as well. Basically if you tied yourself at the hip to his family, you could get those things you want without trouble.

>>2343908
Furthermore some particular points. You want to know what his hopes and goals are with all of this. Honestly as far as he's concerned, he's mostly just bored later in his life and looking for some interest and fun. Too much time and disposable income, typical noble activities like fancy events, hunts, etc... are dull to him so something a little more risky and exclusive are appealing. It's why he's kept it secret and not involved his family, he's not trying to create some evil dynasty ot profane noble house, he's just dabbling in such acts for his own amusement. Which is why things are perfect with you, since you satisfy all his delights without (to his belief) significant risks. He also maintains there are likely others in the nobility who feel the same.

You also approach the idea of entering into his family. Automatically he jumps without hesitation at you replacing his wife; he loves her dearly, mother of his children, but getting to marry a demoness? He can hardly imagine such a reward, though it's more in line with the idea of imitating her rather than replacing her. But of course you're sure you could get him on board with an unfortunate accident for his wife, and marrying you yourself, Amelie rather than posing as his wife.
>>
>>2344644
>>2343908
In some other way of becoming a family member, he's less keen on, mainly because he can't imagine a way to pull something like that off, and he'd not tolerate you doing something like marrying his son instead.

As for the local nobility, it's less intertwined, both among each other and with the clergy. The higher up you go, the more involved they both become, though there are exceptions.

As for lord, I am going to sleep so just last thoughts before I do:
- another maido to steal a soul from? eh sure, whatever. Thank the lord, we like his gift.
- connections? connections. we will leave details to him, but we want to know about anything beforehand so we can prepare properly.
- he is bored and there are maybe another nobles like him? do tell more, this sounds interesting
- becoming waifu? and what about children and her friends? wouldnt they find out something is amiss?
- local nobility and clergy - what are these exceptions? any details why or what happened? they may be potential allies.

He'll of course let you know beforehand, but basically he'll try and get back in the hang of things in town, where most of the fancy get togethers take place, maybe have his son or daughter to help with that, and let you know what's what. You can roll for his success on that end in time and see what he turns up. Though, to be fair the vampire is already in on that scene so it occurs to you could just shortcut the process. Or stick with lord Merou, your choice. As for bored nobles, he only knows of one other (though not the same into what he is but open to untoward things) but as a general statement he's confident from his years that there are always some nobles looking for things to interest and amuse themselves with.

For the wife idea, it's wholly up to you how you actually do it. At his idea, he'd probably just find some way to anull the marriage if possible, or at worst together you try to subdue and corrupt her so you can take her place. But naturally you'd just get her killed probably, in either case the idea is to make it believable to friends and family. A death ironically would be the easiest to swallow, nothing wrong with a man marrying again after being widowed.

So then, does that all satisfy your goals towards lord Merou while here? Anything else to see to before you depart? Or stay, your choosing of course.
>>
>>2344891
Nah, we have what we came for, now we need to come up up with a plan and do some preparations
>>
>>2345105
Right right. You can make your departure, escorted back to the manor by the lord and shown to the steward for your horse. While that's being handled though he says to wait for a bit, and some ten minutes later returns with a young lady, obviously a maid. Introducing the two of you, Carlotta is her name, he subtly intones that she's the one he was talking about earlier that would be easy to snag her soul if you played it right.

Obviously not right there in front of everyone, but he's giving you leave to take her, basically turning over her employment, and thereafter at your choosing you can break the ice about soul deals. Any preference?
>>
>>2345153
Let's just talk about any desires she might have on the way home, things que can make happen and stuff
>>
>>2345322
You can sell her on the usual promises of good looks, fitness, health, all that. Pretty straightforward.

In any case you can reach home by early evening then, awhile before sunset. What you find though are a few folks wandering about confused, while you see smoke rising in the distance, beyond the walls to your estate. A quick stop to talk with them, it seems the people saw the smoke and worried a fire, but in running here to check out, they got confused and lost and don't know what they're after now. Seems the effort of your little coven is taking effect, but that doesn't explain the fire. Checking through the gates at least, it looks like some sort of altercation occurred? You can't see directly to the house but parts of the grounds look burned and ripped up.
>>
>>2345417
God fucking damnit
God in and check what the fuck happened
>>
>>2345544
It seems like a good idea to see what is going on, but upon entry to the grounds, you see a bunch of imps run up and try to attack you with little pitchforks, whips, and their teeth and claws. Furthermore you only barely dodge a hellfire blast, with an angry shouting cry.

"There you are! You wretch! You slattern! I shall have your head for this insult!"

Wouldn't you know it, it's Trophnirn, a fellow demoness. What she's doing stomping around your estate in the mortal realm is beyond you, but she's obviously out for blood and fire and destruction, and already wreaked some. And she's brought her own hostile imps, though your own are not far behind to try and aid you, but they themselves are quite occupied with the hostile force. From all the shouting and screaming, you can roughly glean that the demoness is angry and upset that you didn't invite her to the hellish party about a month ago and now is here to right the wrongs she think were dealt to her.

>How do you proceed?
>>
>>2345573
Alright, we can deal with this without causing more damage to our most precious property

How can we solve this? Some tea? Torturing one of the peasants some distance from here, a romp with our precious Lucas? She needs only name it

Btw what's our relationship with these here she-goat
>>
>>2345573
Uh, was she even an option? Because I am pretty sure that we chose to get all the demons we could.

>>2345699
Pretty sure demons tend to go 'How dare you allow your body to be touched?!', based on the reaction of the imp when we kissed Meryl, so maybe suggesting Lucas is not a good idea. Though I am not sure if that was just an imp overstepping his place or the norm in the hellscape.
>>
>>2345728
Probably not but that's not really the matter, she could be here for any number or reasons. She might even be lying, just come up with some excuse to take offense to you, remember that plenty of Hellscape denizens would love to see you dead merely because they're jealous of your opportunity, or because they're afraid of what you can do.

>>2345699
She seems keen on taking your head for starters, and is out for blood. If you want to try to bargain with her you can though, but you'll have to make a pitch and roll for it. Being a demon and of the same tier that you are (pride) as well as more or less a stranger, you can't just glean what might appeal to her from a glance, you'll have to try and offer and if you're lucky it will appease her. But then again she seems quite furious and set on your head. Of course you could always defend yourself and your domain too, your call on a peaceable solution, a violent one, or something else.

As for your relation to her, she's almost a stranger. In the eons of your dwelling in the Hellscape you've crossed paths or met a few times but you're certainly not on a friendly or even enemy basis. You know of each other, and that's about it. Only because you're both from the plane of pride, do you have some marginal and supposed kinship but really that doesn't count for much below.
>>
>>2345777
Alright, we have just the thing to calm her down, if she'd let us we would like to head into our house to find something to appease her

In between avoiding blasts of hellfire and impish jabs, you try and converse with your fellow demoness in hopes of defusing the situation. Although she isn't much happier by the end, you at least manage to get her to calm down enough to stop attacking you and ruining the estate.

In the end it's the delights of the material plane which get to her, as you tempt her inside for a cessation of hostilities long enough to enjoy a comfy chair, a pleasant drink and some sweet things to eat. The anger in her eyes doesn't subside, but you see a flash of worry and anxiety, over the possibility of missing out on such an offer if she continues trying to destroy everything. So hesitantly and with a stammer, she settles down enough to begrudgingly accept your invitation.

Naturally you'd want your servants only on their best behavior, and have them scurry about making preparations and having the guest feel at home and welcomed. At least long enough for you to be able to stab her in the back, if such is your plan. At least your mortal flock are more useful this way than cowering inside and hoping they don't get blasted next. So in the sitting room you and Troughnirn retire, as she tries her best not to give in so easily but practically melts when feeling a comfy chair to sit in, the pleasant surroundings, the sound of the fire, the smell of the room and cooking elsewhere. You know better than anyone her feelings on the matter, and get an enjoyment over her shattered guard.

Hmmm yes, now what? Try to present a case to her about why she shouldn't take your head? Sneak a knife and try to kill her? Summon some servants to do a merry jig?
>>
>>2346584
Bring her our softest bed sheet and other comfy things she can melt on, some sweets too

Then we stab her with the special anti-demon dagger
>>
Or we could just shower her with stuff to give her a sensory overload and mindbreak her into being our friend
>>
>>2346584
I really want to know how the hell she appeared at our doorstep first. So talky time, dig for anything usefull and in the meantime give her sensory overload of everything nice and comfy mortal realm offers to us. Even sex with an orc or some of our less needed servant if she desires so.
Can we do our mind thing on other demons to? Also is she fully corporeal like us or just temporary summon?

I would prefer having her as an ally in the end, but lets be prepared to stab and end her if things turns out bad.
>>
>>2346615
>>2346621
We need to make an example of her. Shadow of War style.
Let's use the knife to cripple her while our friends take care of the imps.
Cripple but NOT kill, okay?
>>
>>2346724
That will achieve nothing. Hellscape denizens will be always out for our blood no matter what we do as long as we remain in mortal world (and frankly, even if we return home at some point in the future, things will not change much because its is hell).
>>
>>2346621
>>2346723
Well it's your choice how far you want to go towards her, but for now you can keep it simple to what you have on hand; comfy furniture, tasty food, pleasant aromas and physical contact. If you want to go farther to try and get more out of her, then you can decide to do so.

As for your mind thing, you mean your speciality? Yes that's always possible for you, though remember it takes a good roll. In any case you can find out the basics about her, indeed she's not completely physically realized as far as the material plane goes, she's just a summon by some mortal devotee. Therefore, she doesn't have too long and she's here for some express purpose to fulfill and then has to go back. Though chances were she made the purpose to be killing you so it's a pretty flexible goal.

>>2346724
>>2346727
You can be ready to stab her if need be, it's just up to you when you want. Same idea with lavishing her with sensory delights, what more do you want to know from her or manipulate her to, and how much are you willing to push upon her to get to that end?

In the meantime at least, giving her a nice chair to recline in, a snug blanket, some pillows to rest her feet, having someone (Lucas probably) to rub her shoulders and Natalie (with some perfume) to wait on her and bring scrumptious food and drink, all of these things is enough to disarm and "subdue" her for the time being enough that you can converse with her and talk about/ask/learn what you wish. The more or further you want to go, the more you can get from her, as much as you want and are willing.
>>
>>2346932
Alright did she actually expect us to invite her or was that just an excuse to try and kill us and finally who brought her here and why

If the last one is too much just keep spoiling her, go down on her if we need to
>>
>>2346968
It's not that she's particularly insulted she wasn't on the guest list, she's just upset really that she didn't get to go. Which is just convenient to act insulted about. It also kind of kills two birds with one stone though if she can put an end to you and your little mortal escapade in the process.

As for her presence, it was just one of her mortal devotees. Like if the situation was reversed and you had Merryl to summon you from below. In this case for the goal of righting a perceived slight, and secondary goal of eliminating you. At least, until she got ambushed by cozy and tasty sensations.
>>
>>2346993

>>2347130
Yes although in this case she's summoned rather than her actual self. If she were stabbed on the Hellscape she'd be killed for realsies. Just like you getting stabbed here would kill you but getting stabbed below (in a reverse summoning) wouldn't.

I mean, she is on the same tier as us, getting her as an ally can help, or even our servant. (and I suppose that we wouldn't have any problem doing so, with that roll)
>>
>>2347156
Now that we know it won't kill her permanently getting her as an ally sounds better

>>2347140

Indulge her some more then end up with the ultimate sensory overload, gib sweets, lay her in bed with comfy sheets, Lucas gibs full body massage while we gib kisses or go down on her i dunno

>>
>>2347481
Yeah, let's use it for mindbreaking her with overload into being our good friend
>>
>>2347499
>98

So you continue to entice and manipulate her, eventually managing to lure her to a bedroom with promises of a comfy chance to really lie down and relax, maybe a foot rub and such. Once fallen for your trap though, you set Lucas upon her to perform his... vigorous routine. And perform he does, once inside the room drawing her close and carrying her to the bed, skillfully transitioning from innocent enough attention to lavishing her with lustful advance. She's caught off guard but was hardly prepared for the affection, her protests turning to permissiveness, and resistance becoming embrace. Try as she might not to give in, the senstaitons and emotions are too much and she melts in Lucas's hands, perfect for him to work into a pitch. You've been there and you know it, for such a time spend in the torment of the Hellscape and unprepared for the assault of sensation that is the mortal realm, a mighty demon she may be but she's still powerless in this instance.

In any case you know this will take awhile, no need to wait impatiently for the master to finish his work so you take your leave and set about handling some business in the meatine. First of all, dealing with all the damage she caused in her attack and getting rid of the troublesome imps she brought along. Your own imps were able to put out any dangerous fires at least and will be able to rebuild and repair the damage good as new tomorrow (probably don't want to keep everyone up tonight with their construction work). You also run a search of the grounds for the demoness' summoner but the imps turn up nothing so they must have been made to wait elsewhere. Rounding up the witches, another thing, to deliver your thanks and compliment them on their work with obfuscating your estate with sorcery so that people (as you already saw) will have a hard time seeking the place out much less finding it. A job well done on their behalf, and something they can strengthen in time to great effect. Lovely to know you're able to rely on them, with this first success, and Merryl is quite proud in leading the effort. You'll have to remember to reward them later.

Lastly of course, welcoming your new servant to the estate. Carlotta, the young maid, getting her situated and used to living here. A bad first impression with the attack, but you're sure in time she'll come to enjoy living here, especially when you answer her wishes over gaining her soul. You take care of your flock, after all.
>>
>>2347549
A few things to take care of for sure, between what Mila and Merryl would otherwise. Awhile spent, before you return to the bedroom to pick up the pieces so to speak. Entering slyly, you wander over to the bed all nonchalant like everything is just fine. Poor Troughnirn, all worn out and struggling for breath, strewn among the sheets in a hot mess after Lucas is done with her, your champ reclining back himself contentedly after another successful conquest. His prey though, is quite out of sorts, struggling with such feelings and emotions and such a hurt pride. Seeing you come to sit on the bed beside to see how things were, she's terribly embarassed, burying her face in the covers to try and hide her shamed reputation.

"Foul temptress. Wretched whore. I ought have known you't force your will in such ways... inviting to underestimate my foe."

"Come now dear, it's not so bad." you cruelly run your hand along her exposed and vulnerable material body, brushing sweat along the way and causing her to shudder till you find her hand to take in your own. "Think of it as my way of making up over forgetting you at the party. Trust me, you weren't missing out on as much as this... isn't that right, dear Lucas?"

"Mhmm, I didn't get to go either. But I'd rather be with you instead anyway, Nirn?"

"See? A better time had, and likely better still." you add, as you furthermore creep your tail as well across the covers to seek and entwine it with hers.

A blacker heart not easily found than your own, of wretched cruelty. The captive demoness is yours to do with as you please for the time being, no longer intent on your death. Or at least, not as intent for the time being when you can prove to be such a forgiving, and giving friend... ah, ally, no friends among infernals of course.

>>2347612
With tongue.
And some gropes.

Prod her down there since she's sensitive. Further prove the point that all of these feelings and sensations are worth it.
>>
>>2347641
>>2347612
She doens't like your attempts to bargain with her because at the end of the day she's only a summon and this is about all she can get meanwhile you're corporeal here and this is your life. Still, she squirms to your kisses and touch, and a lot of that anger, jealousy, concern, and more are kicked further down the road with all the other tin cans.

Although she's actually of higher status than you, she's amenable to an alliance possibly. As dangerous as you might be up here and your up and coming success, she supposes being on your good side could be better than being on your bad one. She's mostly accepting the situation though rather than embracing it, as although you made her lifetime in just this short evening so far, she's not really sure how you could make things worthwhile to her moving forward from here. Even with your own minions, it's not like you're rewarding them. That party was the first thing and it was a ritual to your own purposes.

But either way, again, out of a grudging obligation at the very least she feels compelled to drop the vendetta against you at least for the time being. Lest you sick Lucas on her again and roll out the sweets and cakes and wine, the fancy soft furs and perfumes, etc... and shame her further at her inability to resist.
>>
>>2347673
That is to say, it seems there's a lot of rumors and worries about you down below which she expected, and the worst. In actually coming up here to see for herself though it was rather surprising for her to find that you've basically gone soft. However also a learning experience for her, in the wealth of pleasantries and sensations of the material plane, and after the evening so far, she doesn't hold it against you because given your situation she knows she would do the same. Well, maybe not do the same but she'd settle into a comfy life like this just as you have.

Well she doesn't actually need to leave for awhile still. However, she'll accept the alliance but she sort of kind of needs a soul to do so. The point of her whole summoning was to destroy you, going back empty handed would severely lower her status and position in the hierarchy. Which, to your own purposes would actually reduce her value to you as well anyway.

Though, whose soul you want to give... assuming you accept her term of the deal.

Do we have any ownerless souls? Can't remember
>>
>>2347761
Not currently but you could just off one of your workers. Or even just give the worker and soul to her.
>>
>>2347787
Can we make a contract with her? Something like "I give you this worker and soul on the condition that you can't use them in any shape or form against me or my friends"
>>
>>2347798
Sure, and it's only fair. Even if she were to ally with your or be in your debt, it's never a bad idea to not trust infernals.

So assuming you go through with it and she accepts failure of her task, then she's still got a day or so left here; standard summoning being, a task to perform and then once it's completed or failed, the customary 24-hour period that the infernal can remain in the material plane begins.

Though of course you can just as well send her back now.
>>
>>2347828
Let's hold on that contract, you were too eager to accept it and it was a quick draft i made as an example
:^)

I wanna wait for the other anons to put their two cents in too

As for the rest of the day let's spend it together, try to get to know her and dig info that could be useful, introduce her to our servants after a quick apology :^)on her part and so on
>>
>>2347798
I give you this worker and soul on the condition that you will not act against me or my friends ever and that you will not use them in any shape or form against myself and my servants, again, ever.
>>
>>2347911
That's a pretty low penalty offer, she could just break it and all she would lose is a soul. Why not instead just say she can't use them against you, then if she does it was pointless anyway because she loses it.

Or if you're really so worried, why not just kill the worker then? I was only saying because they're still alive but if you're really concerned, you could eliminate the worry and just off them.

>>2347865
Well it's night now, she'd have most of tomorrow free. For now you can just spend a pleasant evening at home, meet and greet everyone, have dinner, etc.
>>
>>2347988
Hmmm
I'm going to wait for textwall anon to come up with something

Also i don't wanna kill a nice servant just cuz this succubus doesn't want to go home empty handed

And that's good, pleasant evening
>>
>>2347911
Not really convinced with the use of the term 'friends'. Beyond she using the argument that 'infernals have no friends' or other such logics, we simply have allies that we don't consider friends. So here is my contract.

'In exchange of a soul and the still living owner of said soul as her own servant, she is to be at our service and work for us. At our service, she will be able to enjoy the pleasantries of the mortal realm, but in exchange, neither her nor anybody at her service can knowingly act against us, our servant, our allies, or anybody we don't approve of receiving such treatment (so that she doesn't go on a rampage)(allowing one of her servants or herself to be processed or manipulated by another demon or individual either purposesly or by negligible also quilifies as knowingly, so she better be careful). Breaking this contract will result in her instant banishment and the retribution of any souls given to her by us, our servants, or any ally. That being said, it is still possible for us to renew the contract for whatever reason.'

Giving souls to her isn't included on the contract as she will receive those if she earns them, like the other demons at our service. This way, she gains something from the deal and has the potential of earning more, but betraying us will undo the work. Sounds good enough?
>>
>>2348224
Nah there's no way she would ever agree to something like that. She's technically your superior, so she would never accept a subservient or even equal role to you. Plus just as you have minions, she too has many underlings in the Hellscape that she can't make a broad statement for. Not without looking very weak.
>>
>>2348224
I leave things to you anon in case session continues

Coming down with a fever and about to pass out
>>
i see a pattern here, that we will solve our problems either by fucking them into carpet or with extreme violence... wonder what it says abou us

Also it is hilarious we were able to outdemon the demon. Shame she cant stay... Or can she?

>>2348303
>>2348224
lets not overcomplicate things here. if she really wants, she will find out a way around the contract, not to mention simple break - it is just one soul afterall and it could be very well worth it.

So lets arange some sort of tragic accident to one of our guys we won at party, give his soul to our new not-friendo and call it a day.

Then we can lock her somewhere with Lucas and other servants so she can experience the rest of the day full of pleasure, lust, or whatver she desire and we are free to do something productive (there are ill people, lots of ill people full of delicious juicy souls... I͎̖̬̗̳ͅ ̟̤̉̋ͦͭ̄͗ͣw̮̮̫̎̊ͧa̦̻̮͖̯ͨ̈́͋ͬn͓̝̘̥̭̘͕͒̀͐̓̓̌ͯṯ͈̮̬͆̂͊̚ ̱͆́̔ͧ͒t̼̙̺̃ͯ̄ͬ̄̔h͉͇̫̟̺ͤͧ͋ͫ̃ͭ̈́e̖̺̮͚ͦͦͤ͑̑ͬ̚ͅm͓̼̦!̞̪̯͔̬̑͆)
>>
>>2348482
Actually since she knows she's doomed to go back, she'd like to spend it doing a broad range of things, this evening was rather narrow in delights though in no way a disappointment.

Anyway though you make the deal and set some imps after the worker in particular to stage a tragic accident for the guy. No living worker, no risk of being betrayed on that end. Anyway, the rest of the night is spent quite well with a focus on making your guest feel welcome and comfortable in your home. A good time is had by all, and a pleasant and memorable night it is.

Come the next day you're up early, to the good news of both your scouting parties having returned at varying times in the night. While your guest gets the chance to laze in with breakfast in bed and being tended to by the few maids you've got in your service, you're free to go about and take care of a busy morning. What's on your list to do then?
>>
>>2348493
information please, we need to know what scouts found
>>
>>2348522
Scouts first then. The orcs and others some distance to the west were able to find an abandoned keep, though it is in the supposedly haunted moors region. At least it's obscure. To the east though they also found a rather impressive crag nestled within the dense forests which if you cared to, could probably construct an impressive and secure stronghold.

The imps meanwhile, seeking info on the sky pirates, were able to follow up on those ends. The ones whom attacked you, both didn't have families they could locate which would make sense why they risked coming here after you. Their places they basically packed up things in case they had to return, so you suppose you could appropriate those for your own use. However they're kind of far away so they'd be hard to maintain without some sort of hellish effort to monitor them. Two other crew members were located, however they have families in varying degrees and so probably didn't want to risk finding out what became of the captain. They're just getting by as normal, according to the imps.

So not half a bad effort, you've got an idea of possible militant locations, and followed up on the loose ends about the pirates. What's next on the morning to-do's?
>>
>>2348529
Rituals to create permanent portals to those unused homes. Possible?
>>
>>2348674
It is easier to just claim them as our domain and do teleportation. But I thing it is for the best to leave them be for now and acquire our properties the legal way. Less trouble and cannon fire in the long run.

>>2348529
>abandoned homes
steal everything, make it look like owners just moved somewhere else and home is merely empty and nothing sinister happened.

>rest of the crew
just watch them from distance, unless they act first, we are going to leave them be

>new locations
I like the crag. Anons?
>>
Oh my, this whole thing with angry demoness gave me An Idea!

Sice hellscape denizens are angry and frustrated lot, have no reprieve and luxury is just their wet dream, lets start a travel agency of sort. For just a one soul, we can offer them a day full of relaxation, smother them with comfort and let them embrace delights of mortal life. Absolute secrecy guaranteed, we wont tell a soul who is having fun. Lowly imp od archdemon, everybody deserves a chance to relax for a while. Also if they are willing to spend more souls, their experience may be more refined, interesting, etc.

The basic Idea is we will be given a name, we summon said demon/devil/fiend into mortal world, he/she/it pays us certain amount of souls and then we will give them full five star package of goodness. Rinse and repeat, and we can even extend same offering to angels just for the lulz. Nobody deserves to be left out from the fun after all...
>>
>>2348858
I actually like that idea but i think the ppl down below would us it to try to fuck us over
>>
>>2348529

For the scout report, I like both of these locations. Now some thoughts:

No matter what we choose in the end, we will claim them and their surroundings as our domain.
Also our covens mind altering shield is given.
Due to secluded nature of these locations, we can use wild animals and imps in disguise as guards and spies to minimize random encounters with strangers, heroes or weird creatures and beasts.
Also traps. Lots of traps (we need kobolts, preferably Tuckers kind)
And something we can use agains hell/heaven/other scape denizens to great effect. I am thinking cannonballs and bullets made of hellmetal for example - we already have some weaponry, and there is armory in our hellfort, so with few upgrades we may have some serious firepower at our disposal.
We will need completely devoted and competent personal to maintain all of this tho.

>crag
raw and untamed location
we can hollow it from inside, so it will look innocent enough from outside, but we know better what resides in its empty bowels
may be troublesome because of elves/nature spirits/beasts and other stupid shit that likes to live in forest and wilderness (fooking druids)
it is just random piece of land, which may or may not be a good thing - depending how interesting this location is to other people

>keep
easier to start and repair/rebuild
not very subtle, it is just sorta kinda there for who knows how many centuries already and people surely know about it
moors are nice touch, haunted moors not so much. i am worried dullahan is loitering around (among other things)
on the other hand, if moors are deadly enough, mortals will be keeping their distance from them, so it i added layer of security (althrough brave idiots will run straigh into middle of them because adventure)
>>
Apologies for the late start, had a busy day but should be fine tomorrow and after.

>>2348858
That would probably not go too well, unless they are your minions or allies. Partly because of how they might get out of control, mostly because the "safe" market you can peddle to is quite slim; sensibly, only demons. Devils are more wild and evilly corrupt, so unless you're willing to cater to desires which would not only cost many lives but also spread corruption much more prominently. And the last of the three, fiends, are violently unpredictable and destructive so finding one you could even deal with in such a way let alone interested in pleasures of the material plane, would be quite rare indeed.

Demons by contrast, though still tremendously evil, obviously, were once angels so have some degree of propriety, however twisted that may be. But with your current guest, Troughnirn is not a good example to go by, recall that you rolled so high in appeasing her. Think of her as an outlier, maybe she's not visited the mortal realm before so had no idea what lie in store. Most though, appeasing though it may be, they likely won't be so easily tempted.

It's not an impossible plan, just not as easy as you might expect. In any case, what to do for the rest of the morning? You know new information now from the scouts, but I imagine you're not going to act on it immediately at least?

>>2348674
In various ways, yes.
>>
>>2350357
bah, stupid denizens of hell, dont know what is good for them...

>wat do
>Moar scouting do (for starters)! Gather round, our imps, we have more tasks for you.
- watch from afar the rest of pirate crew for any sign of hostility (we may stop doign this after few months when it is safe to assume nobody cares about us or the deceased pirates anymore)
- do thourough scouting of crag and keep. We want to know which location is more viable, so we need to know who is living here, in what state the keep is, if there are random mortals running around from now and then, who will be our neigbours, etc (basically much more detailed overview)
- we completely forgot about greedbro and angrysis, remedy that (are they still mia/in prison?)
- remember that place where ill people go? look into it and tell us more about it (who is there, how desperate are these people in general, how many are there, if there are any doctors, priests and stuff or it is just place where people go to waste away and die)
- dig through Jaques belongings and papers and look for clues on where his fyling ship may be hidden (We probably need to do this ourselves anyway, but imps may get lucky)
>and then
- go practice our forgery, writing, and illumination skills. we have ton of parchment, supplies, and we need to turn our Nice And Shiny Inconspicious And Obscured Contractl Plan into reality

>Also questions, because I noticed something
- Did we follow through and learned alchemy as was planned or was it a bust? I think we wanted to go to teacher and learn after the hell party part, but thread died and then timeskip happened.
- There are some inconsistencies with our hellfort if you look into The List and pastebin. What is current situation? I think I didnt make any errors when writing levels and what is already built, but realitty may beg to differ.
- Same goes for souls, could you look into them too, please?
>>
>>2350678
oh and unless imps already stole Ren and Nalas stuff, they should do it too (under the cover of the night, etc.. lets not be stupid)
>>
>>2350679
Yeah that was already taken care of.

>>2350678
You can set the imps on the two locations then, and make a roll when they return to see what they found. For the rest of the things, the two siblins are long gone. The brother is probably dead by now and the sister fled. Otherwise, things that can be looked into.

It's late afternoon by now then, you want to spend the rest of the day digging through the secret room and sitting inside practicing writing?

For it to work on you it would need to not be magical, so to do that you'd need to find the other place you want and claim it as your own domain. Then while as your true self you could move between them, same with your imps or minions, but not mortal followers. Unless you try to create an actual gateway but that would take souls.

>>2350678
For the alchemy endeavor, yes indeed you followed up on it. With your demonic aptitude you were able to learn everything the teacher had to offer in a couple days, and from there you just taught Merryl yourself. Though, she doesn't hold much stock in it, she's naturally more into witchy practices.

As for the pastebin, no it's a little out of date. The google doc I believe is more in line with things. The one that should be available, the amount of souls available/spent, I lost track of the actual number between thread transition. If someone wants to earn a reroll, they can go back and double check to make sure.
>>
>>2351716
I want mortals to move, but I don't want to spend souls. What if we claim it, but also make a magic portal? The magic wouldn't work on us, but it should work on our mortal followers, and since we claimed it we can just teleport freely anyway.
>>
>>2351725
Sure but you don't have anyone magically capable enough to do that.

>>
>>2351811

>>
>>2351819
>>2351898
No they are ritualists, or at best some minor naturalist spells. Magic on the level of teleportation would take a greatly experienced arcane magic wielder like a wizard or sorcerer.
>>
>>2351968
Do we know of more settlements nearby?
>>
>>2351981
Yeah there's a few others around. Up in the highlands is a village, there's the elven settlement in the deep forest nearby, there's a bustling river town appropriately downriver, supposedly there's a goblin town in the region, and then there's various small enclaves and nomadic groups wandering around.

Further on are actual large towns and cities like Rocheau.
>>
>>2352058
Let's send some more imp scouts, see if they find a mage in them

Here too just in case
>>
>>2352106
Well you can certainly set them upon that and try to see what they find. Not the best chances though, to just blanket search for possibly finding a wizard in a town. But with a roll it might work.

Anyways, you spend most of the day working with papers and writing, any preference to the evening? Your guest won't be around for so much longer but it seems she had a pleasant day regardless.

You'll have to see what the imps turn up in time, same with the scouting efforts. In any case you spend the rest of the evening in then, and see your guest off pleasantly as an ally. You probably shouldn't expect too much of it as she is higher rank than you but it's never a bad thing to reduce your enemies.

So then, the passing of another night and you're up and ready for the day and thankfully no more demons or devils in your hair. What's on your list of priorities for today?

Reconstruction and regrowth of whatever we lost because of the demoness

>>
>>2352639
Hmm... also I think it is good idea to say what the grand plan here is:

> Disguise ourselves us some sort of mage or healer, scholar, etc. ( basically somebody who looks trustworthy but doesnt stand out)
> Go see those ill poeple
> Offer experimental treatment to selected terminally ill individuals, one which may help them or do nothing at all
> Because it is untested, we need to sign this paper here which says patient knows about risks of this new method
> Paper is actually cleverly disguised Contract which says "soul for healing" among other things
> Bring patient into room, lock the door, tie patient and proceed to heal him.
> When it is done, erase his memories and replace them with some magical mumbo, that the procedure mostly worked but it still needs some finishing touches, and albeit patient is not at the deaths doors he is still not cured. Therefore, he still need to stay where he is.
> In rare case, we will heal a person completely.
> Rinse and repeat with as many people as possible
> Also plant command that will trigger in a week: "Burn everything and everybody to the ground, then jump to the fire too." So there will be no loose ends.

We are Mistress Nadia, scholar, scientist and alchemist, and we are deeply interested in diseases. We came to you because we just finished something that may very well be revolutionary - the Panacea, cure for all ailments. We already made great progress and extensive testing on animals, so now comes the second step. We need to use it on willing humans (and other races) and measure the progress in controlled environment.
Right here is perfect location, isolated but still in quick and easy reach of society and there are variety of illnesses we can test our cure against.
So far, the worst case scenario that happened, was nothing. No change at all, so we are sure there will be no side effects. Our expectation is you will either be cured completely (albeit chances of it on the first try are smaller) or your status will greatly improve and you could be cured by other mundane means quite easily. And yes, this applies to terminally ill too.
We cant promise you miracles, we are no God, but we can and will do our best to help you, because when we are successful here, everybody will benefit from it. Because of experimental nature of this thing, I am asking for volunteers and I need you sign here on the paper that you understand what all of this obtains (legal stuff my friends, bear with me).
And with that out of the way, lets make you better!

My oh my, Mistress Nadia makes quite the impression over in the diseased quarter. You get an early start and figuring out your persona, you ride out to be there by late morning. The initial pitch if you will is a tough sell but it doesn't take long before most anyone there is hopeful of your claims.

So then, without making too much a scene or causing a sensation, how do you want to go about this then? You've no shortage of willing and volunteers, it's just up to you how many and to what extent you want to "help".
>>
>>2353503
Well... we prepared our contracts beforehand, so lets find a room where we can work undisturbed and have some privacy, preferably with access to open fire in case we need to call Hellscape for asistance, grab first patient (somebody who is obviousky hopeless), let him/her sign the contract and then do the healing, mind fucking, and pretty much everything as stated here >>2352655
Also limit patients ability to talk about treatment, us, etc. only in very vague terms or to other affected individuals (idea here is to limit our tracks to minimum - since the deseased quarter is going to burn).

The best case scenario is that we desoul everybody (with varying success, or so will people think), limit their interactions with other people and their ability to leave the quarter via mindrape, and in few days everything turn into ashes and nobody will be the wiser.

If there are any problems with this, I will elaborate or alter the plan accordingly

>>2353587
Well the way you worked the contracts, it's not a fair exploit of people who can't read. So that certainly cuts down on available victims. However you can still get a fair few among the masses of them.

But sure, of those particulars, you can line them up, heal them, manipulate their memories, and send them on their way. How long do you want to be at this? Are you planning on returning home tonight?
>>
>>2353597
ugh.. I hate polishing plans on the fly..

>dealing with many soulless people after we are done with healing
- mindwipe
- they must set deseased quarter to fire. there was priest who told them it was full of evil and ilness and cleansing is neccesary
- also if there is somebody who is not desouled but suspicious, kill them. they are heretics
- then they will spread out and leave to far away places, never to return or talk about anything
- after two days of intense travel, they must find secluded place and kill themselves (drown in river, jump to chasm, get eaten by wolfes, start a fight and provoke their opponent into murder, etc...)

>>2353641
as for those who are not able to read, can we do some sort of verbal thing? Pretend to joke and tell them outrigt that for their soul, we may be able to help them, so lets do it?

Also how many people exactly are we talking about here?
>>
>>2353647
You could try verbally but you'll have to quite literally "say" what you would be saying to them in order to make a proper deal out of it.

As for the amount, it's around 100. It's hard to tell the exact number because some of them are even too diseased for anyone to want around, and some aren't so ill as to not be able to venture out in the days or nights to forage or try to seek work or just keep their distance.
>>
>>2353647
>>2353657
We could say the serious bits a jokes and they would probably fall for the it, also we need to do something about them, we can't leave them in the city

Someone's going to notice/feel the sudden increase of soulless in the city

>100 possible souls
pic related

>eeeeh wat do, wat do...
Ok, everybody who can read is given, lets do them first.
Scrap the kill&burn part for now, replace it with "stay around and if somebody starts some nonsence about demons or they just outright refuse do give up souls, detain them until we can deal with them". We need to harves as much souls as possible while containing subversive elemts at least until we are finished. than we can deal with them
Then start with most hopeless cases, talk to them in private and seduce them with everything we got. We want those souls and for most of the people healt should be enough. They must be in pain and misery, waiting for death, nobody likes or loves them...
Gradually move towards less ill people, I think we need to stop when people become to reluctant to give souls, have outrageous demands or becomes violent towards us.

p.s.: Also we may be able to play Nala on some of them, muhehe (it was long time ago since we were properly evil)
>>
>>2353688
If'n 100 people up and vanish though, that's tremendously suspicious.
>>
>>2353757
Well, if they just leave, and there is no obvious foul play, there is not much that people can do about it. Asuming we wont leave tracks.
Also if we are actually able to convert most of them, and this is not mere academic discussion, I have an idea or two how to deal with them. (it involves combination of everything that was stated so far - some poeple will leave right now, some will stay for a few days to properly prepare the place, than everybody leaves over night, fire happens and everything will burn to ashes quickly and violently, so whoever comes there later will find nothing at all. what a tragedy.)
As for the desouled people, best way to dispose of them is just send them into the wilderness to wait for us and we will march them through hellfire. Clean and efficient (we can do it in those ruins where hell party hapened for example, if it is location remote enough).
>>
>>2353797
Or do a super mega ultra hell party of 100 souls.

But being serious, one other concern beforehand; what's to stop people whom upon being healed, seek to return home to Rocheau or elsewhere, where their families or friends may still be?
>>
>>2353812
we can command them not to do it and they must obey, no? I am a about to go to bed and I am tired so maybe I was not clear about all the orders we will give to the people...
>>
>>2353812
We can tell them to not do it right? Or erase those kind of thoughts
>>
>>2353688
>>2353797
>>2353829
Very well then, you work night and day for some time to come, being careful not to mess anything up but as bold as you can afford. In the end, you manage to get through about 60 people in about a week, till a point where the rest are starting to get suspicious of what seems to good to be true, that you show up and all these folks who see you walk out the picture of health and have other gifts to their name. There's lots of assumptions all around so it's not like everyone just immediately jumps to "Hellish" influence, but very few are left who still believe that you're just a altruistic do-gooder.

You can of course remain and try to convince more people, taking a heavier handed approach in manipulation and tempting, but you'll need another roll for it.

Overall though, by your fortune (earlier roll), so far no mishaps which is good.
>>
>>2353859
And that is our cue to stop and leave. We are not going to tempt the fate, so we will deal with our new victims and lay low for awhile.

If we didnt disposed of some of them already, order them to start slowly leaving the quarter, giving each other alibi they are going to visit family, friends, or that they are just sick of everything and want to finally leave this shithole of a town and go search greener pastures. About half of them should leave for our estate (they need to make sure they are not followed) where we will march them through hellfire, the rest will then prepare and set disease quarter on fire and run into wilds never to be seen again, ever (just make them jump into that chasm, commit suicide via wolfs etc. we will send imps after them to make sure they are truly dead). Everybody is, of course, absolutely forbidden to talk about it, act against it, us etc... They are under our control and we dont want any problems. This whole thing need to be executed quickly, but not at the same time. Give it a week until fire, perhaps? Make everything look spontaneous.

As for Nadia, we are absolutly ecstatic with our progress. Now we will return to our lab to finalize the formula and what we learned, and then the world will never be same again. Be all happy and sunshine on everybody... and disappear forever.

Oh dear oh dear. On your way home that evening then by horse, you're accompanied by a few of the formerly sick on foot. Normally not a problem, but on this moonlit night, the light becomes obscured overtime by a creeping mist, with a faint pulsing glow.

Not particularly worrisome, until you hear a horrendous cacophony of laughter emanate from the forests beyond and carried through the fog. To your demonic physiology it's merely unpleasant, but to your mortal followers, it makes their skin crawl and pierces their ears. Wracked with pain and fear, they look to you for guidance.

With the sound of tramping hooves nearing in the distance, how do you proceed?
>>
>>2354191

Yes!
YES!
YEEEESSSS!

>Men and Women, Behind me!
>Step down from the horse
>Stand facing where the laughter's coming from
>Ah, The Dullahan! I've been waiting to meet you!
>Come! Let us talk as one wretched being to another
>Drop disguise if we don't feel any mortal nearby/we're far away enough from town
>>
>>2354221
You prepare to greet the entity from the fog, calling out to it, wherever it be. The stamping hooves intensify as does the laughter however, till settling to not but the heavy breathing of a nightmare which splits the fog. There from beyond, trots a fiendish rider in dark armor, gripping the reigns in one hand and a rotten skull in the other.

"Let us talk, Fallen Daughter? I shall hear you beg, if you care for those lives."

Maybe not such a talking mood, as the chattering skull is nestled under an arm, and a grim blade is drawn with an echoing shriek. Your few followers falter and worry, but how do you react?
>>

>No need for this, Specter

Well at the very least you can postpone the decapitations. What do you want to discuss though? Being quick about it would be for the best, you can't expect patience from such an entity.

>>2354776
Why do we care about the sickos in the first place? We want them dead, so let dullahan have them. This is actually perfect (we just need to change one of the bodies into Nadia after he is finished)

As for us, can he harm or kill us? If yes, tell him there will be more people trickling out, so if he wants skulls, we will happily provide...
>>
>>2354924
Also what do we know about dullahans in general?
If nothing at all, we would like to know more about him, what is his purpose here, how he came to be etc., what is his name, but only if he is willing to talk to us after this truly Khornate situation is resolved.

>>2354924
He cannot actually harm you seriously in any way and is aware of this, nor can you harm him. At least not out of your domain like this.

But at the same time the more you think about it, the less you actually care for any of these mortals. So politely you step aside and let the horseman get to his work. He is actually quite grateful for this and compliments your propriety and grace. The scene that follows is a gruesome one but being a demon it doesn't really phase you. In short order your mortal servants are all de-headed, and the rider dismounts to start collecting them for a bag.

>Roll for head choice
>>
>>2355148

In the end he just settles for one of the heads of the women. His rotten skull which he had been using is so decayed as to be barely functioning at all (explaining a need to carry it), hence his need for new heads. So discarding the old thing and crushing it with a stomp, he follows up by taking the bloody head. An oddly unexpected change, as he sets the poor lady's head upon his body, and before your eyes said body, armor and all shifts and distorts to match the new head. A headless horsewoman now, it seems, and the head alights with horrendous parody of life and disturbing glee with a smile from ear to ear.

"What a mess! Well then, where to mistress Nadia?"

"Beg pardon?"

You're prepard to just mount your horse and ride away back home as easily as you came after that, but oddly the rider seems to fall in line as though she had been one of the formerly living flock. Naturally confused you ask what sort of trickery she's on about, though she feels the need to correct you in adressing her; her name isn't Norris as had been the rider's when he rode up, but Micheu, which was the name of the decapitated woman.

Something odd is afoot for sure.
>>
>>2355904
Ask details about what just happened, is he the woman now and most importantly is she our ally now?

Also why mistress Nadia, he shouldn't know about that
>>
>>2355904
>reroll get

also, kek

Alright, if there is still something left of former dullahans essence and knowledge, please explain what just happened. I understand the need to switch heads from time to time and perhaps some personality changes that carries from host to host, but she should not feel the need to our servant.

And while talking, turn one of the bodies into Nadia.

>>2355943
She knows we are Nadia and demoness, considering there was most likely some sort of weird melding.
>>
>>2355943
You know at least some of the basics of dullahan, when they take a new head, their body changes to suit the head. Since they have to keep getting new heads, their bodies are similarly often changing. You could expect the same, that if he had taken an orc's head for example, the body and armor would have changed to match the orc head and so an orc body too, with armor to suit it.

>>2355954
You can turn one of the bodies and heads to match your Nadia persona.

As far as Micheu is concerned though, she or the woman she was, only ever knew you as Nadia so that's why she's referring to you as that. Why she thinks you her mistress, well that's the way they all saw you before they just died.
>>
>>2355982
Ah, I wrote it wrong, let me rephrase: Why does she acts as our servant still? She is dead-turned-into-dullahan now, we should not have any control over her anymore. Sure, she may refer to us as Mistress, but now her goals and needs are fudamentally different. Unless... The whole "we own her soul" means that by extension we own her even in the dullahan reincarnation until she changes her head again (some sort of metaphysical weirdness and uncertanity is going on because two different theologies collided)
>>
>>2355982
Oh kek

That 42 really helped us, well

>Onwards Dear Micheu!

>>2356015

>>
>>2356015
The rider killed, took the head, and incorporated a mortal. But one whom belonged to you already, thusly you are still the owner, since you own the soul eternally anyway. At least until judgement day.

As far as you can surmise, you get the basic gist of the dullahan but not really any detailed knowledge. The same could be said in reverse, it knew you were a demoness but that's about it. Woe to the rider, that didn't understand or realize that the servants with you, you owned spiritually as well as physically.
>>
>>2356046
well, I hope we will fail our rolls like this more often then

> wat do
It is somewhat embarrasing but hardly our fault that dullahan is in our temporary servitude. But I am little worried about her masters and their saying on the matter. They may view this as a theft afterall. So, ask Micheau about it.

I think we should let her do the dullahan stuff as she was before and not use her much, to be on the safe side. But since she is at our service, she may hunt the rest of our coming sickos to the death.

Also I have absolutely no idea how to accomodate a bloody fey-thing without everybody freaking out (and constant need for the fresh skulls is a bit of a problem too - we will run out of soulless servant eventually)
>>
>>2356094
Is in servitude indefinitely*, possibly until the head is replaced

Also does a dullahan have a master to respond to?

As for her dullahan job i say she kills the rest of the soulless and then she comes with us back to the mansion when she's done

And we also need to want everyone about her, how she's to be trusted, etc. Say they're with us if they encounter her and stuff

>>2355982
Do we need to be Nadia for her to answer to us or can we introduce ourselves to her as Amelie and still have control over her, the woman's soul is still ours after all
>>
>>2356120
You yourself are the owner of the soul and mortal so your identity is not a problem.

>>2356094
>>2356120
According to her she does have masters but in this particular case they kind of just set her loose to wreak havoc for a sleight at an earlier time by some foolish mortals.

Probably eventually she would be expected to report back, but their call would supersede yours so there wouldn't be contention anyway.
>>
>>2356120
> Using her to kill the rest of sickos when they try to get to us
yes
> bringing her with us
reluctant no until and unless we get more info about her dullahan status her masters, how long till she needs to replace her head, etc. These things are vital to know, because I really dont wont to defend our estate -again- agains something supernatural or otherwordly.
Also it is worth to point out that dullahan itself may not be very happy with its servitude after it gets free again.
>>
>>2356137
>Implying we won't supply heads that belong to us

>>2356131
Ask her for information about her Master
>>
>>2356137
Once a head is taken it just decays at the normal rate. A few weeks? A couple months? However long it takes for a head to naturally just rot away till just a skull.

Technically the rider doesn't even need a head, they just always want one, and prefer a fresh head to a rotten one.

>>2356152
Some unseelie couple, fey from a few regions away. Some mortal of this region insulted them by action so they set the dullahan loose here. Hopefully to find and punish that mortal, but otherwise just make everyone miserable and make everything awful.
>>
>>2356170
few more questions than
>so in the end we may command her to be headless. any drawbacks here?
like she is going hate us for it, will be unable to speak,...
>when changing heads, does dullahan require a "right" one and therefore must find a "right" person or any head will do?
if we can just feed her our most useless soulless servants, we may pull it out, but I still dont like the idea that everybody will be afraid it is their time to die now. It is absolutely horrible PR and even if we find and desoul new person solely for purpose of getting their head, mortals will be unnerved of constantly changing and rotting fey-thing.
>how does she truly feels about all of this this? Beeing our servant, even by mistake.
If she is going to be vengeful in the end, it is unwise to take her in.
>>
>>2356197
It can only be commanded for as long as it is bearing a head of a mortal you owned.

As for heads, no any head can do. As for attitude, it seems to be the same as Micheu's was before she died, so quite devoted and thankful to you for the help you gave her, same as the other sickos. You didn't let on your true nature (that they might remember) so she has no reason to be angry with you. Though, her personality is tempered with being a dullahan now; unless you specifically command her otherwise, she's cruel now with a dark and evil glee to everything she does with horrible laughing and grinning, grotesquely cheerful. Also keen on taking heads, and punishing insolent and wicked mortals, or anyone who gives offense.

Like Micheu liked pretty flowers for example, well "she" still likes pretty flowers. But she also likes chopping off heads now.
>>
>>2356229
Yeah, no. Sorry anons, but this girl is more trouble than she is worth. Lets use her to clean up our sicko mess, direct her towards the disease quarter to bring even more chaos and death into the fray when the fire starts, but otherwise leave her be. Everybody will be happy, especially our mortal flock.
>>
>>2356197
I feel like as long as we're not complete dicks or make her do something shameful for a dullahan we'll be fine

If we take care of her and treat her respectfully, we don't have anything to fear, i hope

Also we could be truthful with our servants and tell them they can volunteer to be a dullahan for some time if they desire

We could also keep some of the sickos as replacement for when she needs her change

>>
>>2356750
We are going to send imps after all of them to watch and eventually kill the sickos who happen to survive dullahan, our orders, and then the fire. By the end of the week they all should be dead and dullahan is free to go back to its duties. It is not like he/she/it will come back to us every now and then and act as lost puppy, right?
>>
>>2356789
Not really, no. You can just give it an order and it will follow, whether that be just resume what it always had been doing.

So you just return home now then?
>>
>>2356814
allright, after she is done hunting and murdering sickos on the road and on the fire night (she gets bonus points if she can actually get inside desease quarter to spread even more death and destruction), she may return to her previous duties.

And with that, lets finally go home and see what happened in our absence. At the very leaast, there will be fresh reports from our imps (and we have new set of orders for them anyway).
>>
>>2356814
Headpat the Dullahan goodbye
>>
>>2356843
Very well then, you give your farewells to the headless rider and are off once again. You return home finally after about a week away. Things have been managed fairly well enough in your absence, however you notice some segregation and tension to have happened in the house. While you were away, there seems to have been some fighting and arguing over the Lucas situation. It seems finally his prowess has caught up with jealousy and scheduling conflicts, shall we say. Particularly now with bundles of joy on the way. As the only resident man of the house now it seems there's too little of him to go around for those who want it. Not everyone, but anger and jealousy have given sides to those who do. Not a dire problem like an attack on the estate, but definitely harmful to the amity and cooperation within the household.
>>
>>2356941
Joy. Who is pregnant and are they after Lucas specificaly or the problem is just the general lack of males in da house, which makes females frustrated?

But first lets deal with imps.
>>
>>2356952
Keep best looking sickos as surrogate dads
:^)
>>
>>2356952
Mila is expecting now, and in prodding it seems Merryl is seeking that now too since she has her soul back, before without it she didn't want to have a soulless kid so was taking contraceptives. Stopped now.

It's not that Mila is acting possessive, she's actually quite agreeable since she was always on board and accepted going in how things might be. It's more a general tension and jealousy over sharing, basically trying to budget things out with only one guy realistically available. Again, not everyone is into Lucas but those that are, are getting angry with one another. Could remedy it just by influencing/manipulating them to be ok with it, amping up Lucas even more, fetching more guys for the house (though could cause problems there), or maybe some other idea you have.

Anyway your scouting imps can have returned sure, by now. Which tasks among them do you want to follow up in order?
>>
>>2357140
Hmmm, some variety wouldn't hurt tbch
>>
>>2357140
Who hss Lucas been banging exactly? Mila, Merryl, Natalie and maybe the elf and Helen

Any of the witches?
>>
>>2357181
Only thing to consider, in a situation like this, a row in the house among the women is mostly arguments, bickering, and some slaps. A row in the house with men would entail proper violence.

>>2357207
Regularly, Mila, Merryl, Cili, Helen, and two of the witches. On and off, Natalie and two other witches. To be fair Lucas is a good man (and quite the stud you've made him to be) but a lot of it is from, as said, him being the only regular man about the house (and without a job so home all day), attractive in his own right, and perhaps most importantly the corruptive nature present in the house as well as your permissiveness to let anything happen. Also doesn't help that witches, yours being no exception, are quite carefree and/or sinful in their living.

In any case as you can see, there'd naturally be some conflicting scheduling of Lucas if you will, which has fostered some problems overtime particularly as the number of ladies of the house has increased but guys hasn't. Not an impossible problem to deal with, just that you haven't intervened at all so this are just following a natural course.

Of the rest that you can know without prying, there's the imp and his cursed human lady friend, two of the witches have sought company elsewhere among your armed group when they're around, one has similarly taken to an imp, and the last just keeps to herself.
>>
>>2357373
Letting two of the better looking sickos stay might be a good idea, influence the men into sharing and being friendly and understanding about it

We need more studs
>>
>>2357388
We already have some male workers (Patrice, Ranolph, some unnamed unfotunate loosers). It is not like we really need them to work, so I suggest to use them first to take care of our witch problem.

>>2357373
The problems we need to deal with.. Roll our eyes and lets do this
>wat do
- grab our male workforce and present them with great opportunity to.. ahem.. spread the love and have some fun in the process. Or just tell them outright there is house full of women and only one man, nudge nudge wink wink.
- change those who agree to "help" in a way Lucas is now, with exception that they are much less fertile (to lower the chance of sudden influx of baby army. Lucas may be normal but that is just enough)
- as for the women, talk to them and while doing so influence them to be more sharing and understanding betweeen each other.
- also with exception of Mila and Merryl, lower their fertility if possible. Like with men, dont turn it off completely, just make it harder to get pregnant.
- imps are banned from making babies. this is standing order from while back but it never hurts to remind little buggers now and then
- if everything goes well, let them have celebration orgy or something
>>
>>2358723
You're saying you don't want a fresh tasty source of baby souls?

Although it's not like any of the other guys could help, they had their souls taken already so couldn't help there towards a tasty baby soul. Lucas still has his soul at least.

But sure if none of that interests you, a few of the other guys can step up to the plate.
>>
>>2359270
>baby souls
Babies are annoying, besides they need to give us their souls willingly, which will take years and in the end they will be corrupt inside out already before that. I see no point in having babies around unless we can just sacrifice them for something permanent and meanigful. And there is still problem with Lucas and co. not agreeing with us killing their children in the first place.
So nah, not worth the pain and effort as far as we know atm.
>>
>>2359336
We can still influence them

Plus pure souls are valuable af
>>2358723
Supporting this except for the lower fertility thing
>>
>>2359270
Have we used any of our men worker's souls?
>>
>>2359361
Afaik to have pure soul one must not be corrupt. That is hard to achieve with us (walking talking Corruption) or thoroughly corrupt parents around, because corruption bleeds out and slowly spreads from its source.

I agree having pure baby souls would be awesome, I just dont see a way how to get one with our current setup (or any setup, really)
>>
>>2359368
Yes but given how many souls you have now if you wanted you could just make a swap.

>>2359392
Would that you were to have a kid even, it would be pure at least to begin with. The corruption you're thinking of in this situation is more physical in nature, actual spiritual corruption is reliant on choice. Ergo, a child's soul doesn't become notably sullied until they're old enough to make choices and understand that. Maybe they'd be worth a little less from the physical corruption, but still a pure soul regardless. At least if both parents souls' are in tact.

>>2359336
Well Lucas, Mila, the normal folks wouldn't be into such a thing. The witches though, either probably don't already care or they could pretty easily be manipulated to that point. You'd be surprised if none of them haven't already done something like that, it's not uncommon for witches to lure and seduce lost travelers for the goal of getting a tasty baby out of it.
>>
>>2360110
Weeeell then, this changes everything.

Let the witches have babies then, this will be fun...
As for workers, Patrice will be our second breeder, so lets change his mindset to never ever betray us and then give him back his soul and blame it on exquisite attitude or something. I would rather start small with this, we can always expand later. Other guys will be there as dildos to help our girls relieve some stress.
>>
>>2360281
Or if you're going as far as manipulating, could just manipulate to be ok with one guy around for simplicity. Especially if you actually don't have any fate lined up for potential babs other than as sacrificial lambs so to speak. Only thing to keep in mind, for something soulless you could have full control over it. So you talked about not wanting some army of babies around, but if they were soulless you could not only cut down on gestation time but even aging process. To some extent also true with the imps, however you more than made clear your stance about any breeding on the mortal plane. Before there were imps quite literally lined up for Lucas and a chance to try their baby scheme, now there's neither hide nor hair to be seen of them. At least on the sabbath day.

Though that's just something to point out, it does seem you are interested in maybe setting up a soul farm. In that case, if you've got your sights set on Patrice, you can seek him out next chance you get, probably tomorrow, and see if he's interested. In the meantime then, how do you want to spend the rest of the evening? I mean aside of finally following up on those scouting imps (which order did you want to talk to them to again?), now that you've at least settled the tension in the house among your coven and "family" members before actually getting into the business of changing anyone yet.
>>
>>2360328
>imps
- status report on crag and keep, what did they found in more precise scouting attempt
- secretly watch and follow the sickos around, and when they fail to die or actually succesfully reach our estate, secretly kill them and dispose of body so nobody will ever find it (also keep an eye on dullahan and point her in the right direction now and then, no need for us to get our hands dirty more then neccesary). Also we want them to report if any sicko got away or all of them are finally dead and gone. They should subtly help with fire day (or rather night) too, just to make it truly apocalyptic.

>future soul farm
That is pretty much the idea, yes. Patrice (and other possible fathers) will be havily indoctrinated before we give him back his soul so he will happily give up his children, never talk about it, never betray us, etc.
Again, we want to see how things work out in somewhat controlled enviroment before we kick it up a notch, so having him and only one witch to do the deed is probably good idea too.
Rest of the guys wil undergo just general stud upgrades and what was said before to entertain rest of the ladies.
And we will exclude Lucas and co, naturally. They really dont want to know anything about this.
>>
>>2360417
>Rest of the guys

lol how much are you planning here? Also it's not really going to be possible to "hide" this from anyone, when they're going to be sharing the houes with expectant mothers and then suddenly no baby around. The amount of effort you'd have to go through to keep anyone in the dark, it would probably be easier just to convince or manipulate them to accept it. Also the more people you involve, more fathers and such, the more convincing or indoctrinating you'll have to do.

As for the imps, make a roll for their crag findings. The other one, tracking the sickos can be done in time.

You find your imps who were sent to scout out the crag, with mostly good news from each. For the krag, the place is as expected, generally clear of inhabitants so prime location for building. Only thing is there's some small orc tribe living out of the crag, as they trade with the goblin town. Not particularly dangerous, but you'd want them gone before you build the place.

As for the keep, it could use some work for sure and is sunken into the marshy landscape like most of the ruins. However it's generally left alone given how it is haunted and also just nothing much there of value. Random travelers might happen by the crag simply for it being a landmark but people actively avoid the ruins. At most you could expect social rejects or criminals seeking a temporary place to hide. The only thing of concern is a banshee dwelling there, which would be dangerous to any mortals.

Otherwise though, better than you may have hoped.
>>
>>2360511
We will cross that bridge when reach it. Besides, first baby we may blame on being stillborn. The rest... lets hope we will have dedicated "farm" to grow them there without interruptions and drama.

>>2361329
How hard it is to deal with banshee? Is it just a nasty ghost that needs to be put to rest or actual person we can talk to and possibly come to some sort of agreement?

As for the locations in general, they are both highly usable, so only thing we need to do is choose which one will be our first target. Anons?
>>
>>2362062
Very well then, you can set aside a pair to trial run the soul farm idea. Going to take awhile though of course, since you can't speed up the process with a soul present. I assume in the meantime, you're going to still keep to the plan then to get another guy or two to handle thigns so it's not just Lucas? Though chances are, soul farm route, there'd be less jealously and neediness with buns in the oven.

Anyway, for the banshee it depends. For mortals quite risky because a banshee wail can kill. It really depends on the ghost but the imps seem to think it wasn't just an insane anguished spirit, so interaction could at least be possible, though how well that would go remains to be seen.

Yeah, pretty much.

And now for something completely different. Before other anons chime in with their thoughts about our first hidey-hole AND the Big Sicko Massacre happens, we should work on our demonic abilities and re-train ourselves to be able use them in our mortal body. And some weapon training would be nice too, so lets do it all together with orcs.
Idea here is, I am tired of our inability be badass while we are on our turf, so it is high time to change it - also some actual concealed weponry to carry around while we are Amelie would be nice, just in case. I know we are mostly talky type, but sometimes it is better to just stick a throwing knife into somebodys eye socket and call it a day.
Also, we apparently have guns and stuff, it would be nice get familiar with them. We better lay low for a while, so lets be productive with our time.
>>
>>2362137
Regaining demonic competence in your material body is something you can devote yourself to overtime, though not exactly something you can learn from anyone.

Actual martial competence by contrast, you can learn, from the orcs if you want in this case. However their combat style is not really suited to you, unless you seek to go around as a big lumbering orc in mortal disguise. For something better suiting Amelie, you may need to search for a trainer (like with the alchemy) or even some exotic fighter. Though at least as your demonic self, you do actually know how to fight with weapons traditional to demons (and angels) from your participation in the war.

Guns are a bit different since those aren't native to the Hellscape, another example being crossbows. You can learn to use them, but you don't have a natural competence. Same with the earlier idea of making demonic guns. That may be hard and require external assistance, like seeking out some war, weapons, or blacksmith god. Probably pagan.
>>
>>2362147
I wanted to use orcs mostly just as our sparring partners while we are demoness, because they can take a hit or two. I dont think we can learn much from them anyway (and we are not becoming orc just to do so).
They can help with our demonic powers in a way too - they will attack us, we will try to defend using only our powers, etc.

As for actual weapon training, I am not aiming for anything to fancy - sword is nice, but mostly we will be carrying something small and easy to hide, so knifes, daggers and such are preffered. Some throwing variety in the mix wont hurt anything too (if we dont have proper stuff laying around, hellscape will provide us. we just need to be carefull with these to not accidentaly kill anybody. That would be awkward.)

For the ranged weapons, firearms were listed mostly to be familiar with them so we can use them if need arise. What kind of tech are we talking here anyway? Flintlock or percussion muzzleloaders? Early cartridges but still black powder?
>>
>>2362171
It sounds like the kind of weapon training you're interested in is something you would need a trainer for then. You're more of the style of battlefield combat, swords and shields and spears and such. Something quick, concealable, throwing, etc... is a more roguish way of fighting which you'd need to learn.

For guns it's black powder. You yourself can learn and use guns no problem, what I was referring to was the ability for your Hellscape minions to be able to fashion them, such as with the Armory improvement to your fort. I believe someone earlier in the thread had an idea of making a Hellish gun(s) which could fire hellish metal bullets, of which grazing or even a minor wound would kill a mortal and more. This is possible but to learn to make such things, is not a knowledge native to infernals, you'd need to seek that knowledge elsewhere. While you personally could just go and learn from a gunsmith if there were one, your minions need a divine or profane level of knowledge that a mortal could not provide.

In the construction, again. Use is simple enough to learn with mundane teaching or practice.

Ah. Thanks for clarification.

Do our mortal followers know if anybody in town or close proximity is able to teach us the way of the (assassins) blade? And maybe writing to vamp lady and lord Merou for input would bear some fruit. They may know about somebody more skillful than the usual backwater rogue.

And while awaiting their answers, lets work on our demonic ablities and some basic exercise and firearms training so we know which way of gun point towards the enemy and how to handle the damned thing.
>>
>>2362190
It stands to reason that no one you're familiar with, would know any assassins. However if you want you can try searching, either directly or for someone who would know someone. In this case you'd make a roll as usual, though if you want to search, you can specify where you want to go looking. Just off the top of your head, you imagine some place with high traffic would be the best bet bet, either the river town, the sky port, or actually going to the coast.

In the meantime, for a separate (and more longterm, ongoing) roll you can train with your orcish and other guards, and work towards re-attuning yourself to your natural abilities. Same with gun training, though a roll isn't neccessary for that.

sky port may see its share of unsavory characters. lets send ims there then. Also we dont need exactly assassin, pretty much anybody who is proficient in knifefighting would do I guess (soldiers, spec ops, rogues, spies...)

You have a pretty good hunch then about the little village up in the mountains, where the occasional sky vessel stops by before crossing the mountains for the country to the south. You can send some of your higher tier imps (gotten from upgrading the warren) whom are both more competent, and better at infiltrating and going unnoticed, in part due to being able to disguise themselves better. As people if need be.

With that you take to bed, for a bright and early day. Already you know to have sent word for some of your other servant guys with the prospect of helping with the jealousy situation in the house. You can expect them by evening though after the work day. In the meantime, you can try to practice and get the hang of your demonic capabilities for this material form, as well as train with help from the orcs and other militants. Anything else you have in mind of taking care of though, for the day?

Also, the chance to set your coven to a task again, after their success at the previous one.

>coven
more offensive / defensive wards for our hidey-hole-to-be? Cloaking is nice but when somebody gets past it, we better have some sort of nasty surprise in our sleeve. (as for actual description what we want - nope, witches should surprise us this time, lets see what they can come up with on their own)

>wat do inbetween training and stuff
Carlotta, our maido #2, is still full of soul, lets do something about it.
>>
>>2364077
Well with Carlotta, you were given her by Lord Merou because she would be easy to take her soul. You already know, she'd be fine with the usual of being made healthy and fit, attractive and capable.

Though with as many souls as you got from the sickos, do you really need just one more?

As for the coven, sure they can try to come up with a surprise.
>>
>>2364637
Voting to us Carlota as breeding material, influence her into it
>>
>>2365034
You mean for the test control one? Yes some influence and manipulation will probably be required since she was under the impression of servitude at the price of having her wishes granted, not being reduced to a baby maker.
>>
>>2365496
She'll have her wish but later, right now she more useful like this
>>
>>2365537
Well then, some convincing and manipulation is going to be needed. Unless you have some scheme of concealing it from her up front or something.
>>
>>2364637
there are bilions of souls out there. we will catch them all, one at the time.

>>2365556
you have truly uniq ability to create Merryl situations, anon. (to elaborate: we have witches, who are most likely already willing to bear a child, then use it in some sort of heinous ritual, and lauhg about it in the end. Why use Carlotta instead is beyond me)
But if we can mindrape her into not caring and keep her attitude that way (becoming mother is going to play havoc with her psyche), sure, whatever... But I still think it is Bad Idea
>>
>>2366167
Well if it's what you want to try for, make a roll I suppose, and present your case.
>>

rolling for bilions souls

>Carlotta
Can we trade good looks and other goodies for her unborn child and convince her it is actually great idea? I know changing her will take longer because she is only corrupt, but it is worth a shot. And if she refuses, just trade soul and we go to witches with our baby idea.
>>
>>2366376
People offering up the soul of their firstborn (usually unborn) instead of their own for a wish isn't unheard of, and often enough accepted. Often in part because it gives the infernal in question the chance either for a pure soul, or for the chance to sow their bloodline into the mortal realm.

So if she wanted the things she did, and you offered to take payment in a child instead of her soul, then that is an offer you could make, sure. You'll have to describe your pitch of such an idea to her with that roll though, else it might not be high enough on its own.
>>
>>2366413
She is already willing to give up her soul, but why do that? She can give us her baby instead and keep everything AND her soul. It is just a child afterall, and not even born yet. Nobody (relevant) will know about this, the child in question is not even conceived yet, there is really nothing to be worried about.
But while talking to her we obviously do heavy corruption and prepare place and time before, so we can erode her will with alcohol and other sweet delicious sinful tastes. She definitely saw Merryl and other women by now, the carefree attitude that reigns supreme in da house, the debuchery,... She can have all of this just for a meager babe.
>>
>>2366436
If it won't cost her her soul, then you can convince her with a good enough argument. She's understandably concerned about how all of this is to take place though, since you obviously seem to have a plan in mind.
>>
>>2366770
Is that not going enough? We just ask a bab of her then whatever she wanted is all her
>>
>>2366436
We can also augment the child as it grows, so we can have a powerful bodyguard/henchman.
>>
>>2367571
It's enough, for her own sake she kind of just wants to know what you have in mind for her and how this agreement is going to play out? Like is she going to have to marry an imp? She has no idea what to expect.

>>2367588
Well a soulless one might be better for that since you could do all of that in a very short amount of time.

Anyway, aside of figuring out what to do with her in regards to your plan then, you also have a chance to meet Patrice, and make your offer to him about helping to share the work in the house so to speak, with Lucas. Go ahead and make a roll.
>>
Oh also it's page 10, if possible I'd want a roll call for people still active. If folks want we can keep going as so far with the quest, but it seems things have slowed down a bit, so if people would prefer to do something else instead we can always seek an end to this and change to something else.

I say, because the previous threads were pushing 1000 posts each almost, and here we're just barely breaking 300 maybe. If folks happened to be busy this time that's fine, but if we're dwindling and interest would be greater for something else, that's fine too. I'm behind whatever the players want.
