I nearly jump out of the bath, already covering myself with my tail incase someone or something decides to surprise me. BUT then I realize something, or rather I remember that I could probably actually have a nice warm bath to calm down with and scheme in. And you know forget all the bullshit I've found myself surrounded by. But first I need to get out of the bath, so I can actually fill it with some nice steaming water.

Yeah, of course this place wouldn't have a boiler, they don't have that kind of tech here in da'ta. No they'd need some magic to get the water all nice and hot, or just heat it up manually by boiling it over a fire. And since the previous owner was fucking rich before he started eating people, its probably the former in the case of my new mansions plumbing.

Okay, so I need to figure out where the magical crystal or rune powering it is and how to make it work and....try not to slip on the polished stone floor. shivering, I push myself over the edge of the deep and cauldron shaped bath, damn thing is big enough to hold like four people and is also way too high.

Throwing my leg over the side, I try not to slide off of it and onto the equally cold floor as the water begins to drain out. Goooods that is not a good feeling! okay just get off it as quickly as possible, and don't slip and knock yourself out. Only bad things happen to girls who pass out naked, namely embarrassment and their friendly servants punishing themselves for embarrassing them. And erret has enough problems already, she doesn't need to add flagellating ontop of it all. Okay maybe I'm thinking of the worse possible scenario here but fuck, it could happen.

Okay, out of the tub, dripping wet, freezing. First things first, wrap my tail around myself in case I get a unexpected guest or pervert and to try and warm up a little.

Okay, I sigh in relief, taking a moment to actually look at the dust and rust covered outside of the tub.....now where would the heat beat? I mean I thought it'd be by the faucet but....now that I think about it. the bath at cornibus' tower had one sort of on the side of the wall. A nice bright red thing....come to think of it this may not be a bath, since it is shaped like a fuck off huge pot but eh. Who the fuck boils people in soap? So I'm going to keep assuming it is a bath and just an oddly shaped one at that.

But, since its in the middle of the room, away from the walls. then the runes or crystals or whatever must be close to it so you can adjust the temperature while your inside it and.

Oh, there it is, of course, under the faucet. Should've know, it makes sense, this way you can get a feel for the water as you're changing it. All right, set it to boil so I can make sure all my scales are nice, clean and clear of blood and mud.

In fact it clears my head a bit, well at least being able to chill without worrying about some monster or demon jumping out of nowhere gives some time to think in the quite. The vents bubble around me as I lazily kick my legs and sigh.

And I've saved an entire town, several times to be considered a hero, I destroyed a bandit clan and turned some mercs back to good...the red shrikes or some shit like that. And I got gifted a rare as hell magic by the goddess of death or....the death half of her at least. I've been blessed by a god, and got a kick ass demons sword. and got the attention of one of the champions of the seven nameless lords.

So I've accomplished a lot of shit so far buuut, but I haven't done anything but make sure I'll be safe long enough to stay alive and figure out what the hell is going on and what I'm going to do. And I've just so happened to save people and get the notice by something divine, twice. And people think I'm some kind of hero, but what am I going to do?

Since the area around my home and fief still has monsters around it, I mean every where in Da'ta does but...it also has some problems still according to alimofa. So should I fix that or use my new found lordly privileges to get comfortable. or should I just explore and see what's changed around here. Honestly I'm not sure, since none of the things I usually do in da'ta are....things I can do now.

there's a lot I need to do, and I have several plans besides just sitting on my hands for however long it takes to fix up my manor and make it look nice which....if I get the right people and splurge to hire enough workers shouldn't take longer than a month if they don't slack off. But those are my goals, have fun, explore, fill up my manor with people who I can tolerate or even call friends. Clean up my fief, aka carolton and the farms around it. and find out exactly what happened to all of us.

And, on that train of thought I should go check on Erret really quick, before I jump back in the Jacuzzi or do whatever. Since there's a lot I need to do, but well if Alimofa is to be trusted nothing I should really rush to do. I mean the tomb sounds cool, might be able to snag some good loot if I get there before any of the other players grow balls or the ones who've been helping me dip in without me, or god forbid Weebforce finds out about it. the only thing good that would come of that is Greenbean might die. I smirk and shake my head. Well nothing to worry about now at least, I have a jacuzzi to enjoy and renovations to plan. I can go tomb raiding and monster hunter later. Not like anything will go too wrong if I don't right? Besides I fucking deserve some R and R with all that I've done.

Nodding to myself, I push open the door to the smoke room and frown, since Thas is no where in site. Guess he left, or teleported or something, he didn't even leave a note. How rude. Well at least he isn't going to make anymore of a mess around here now. She skips up to me as I smile a bit wider as she hugs me quickly before she lets go and straightens up, trying to hide her excitement as she pants and giggles like a schoolgirl.

"I was complimented by one of the seven champions" She says, nearly in tears, grabbing my hand and shaking as her voice starts the waver as she sniffs and tries to laugh, start to cry from sheer happiness.

"Well" I say, hugging her from behind and giving her a reassuring squeeze as she freezes up, still stuck between laughing and sobbing out loud. She's shaking in my arms, but she isn't scared, she's just so fucking happy she's nearly in hysterics and as weird as that is. I'm glad she is, I'm sick of her always being depressed or worse. She needs to stop think about herself as some kind of monster or leper. And this seems like it'll be a big step in that direction

"Well" I say, laughing as I decide its best to tell her Alimofa only praised her because I asked her to, and she felt bad for letting me walk blindly into that den of wolves "Well you deserve it, you're a good girl Erret, a great one. and the best servant or friend I could ask for. She just cries, hugging my arms as tries and fails to say anything, ink black tears streaming down her face. I hold her for awhile since I think she needs some affection. and finally after what seems like a minute or two at least....but I don't know I'm not good with time, she says

"And you're giving it to me? what can it do besides bathe?" She asks, looking back at me an adorable look of confusion on her face "And what's a spa"

"Uh, no I'm letting you use it as much as you want, and....I'll explain later" I say slowly as she goes back to inspecting the jacuzzi, like she's trying to decide if it's too dangerous or something for me, or just plain confused at the idea of being allowed to relax whenever she wants

"but, master" She begins, looking back to me as I struggle to get my robes off and stop the second she looks at me....shit I forgot to put on my clothes, all I have under these are my panties shit....ah well I was going to skinny dip anyways, so who cares

And even before I begin to seriously think I can feel my lips slowly pulling and growing into a smile that's just barely not a grin. Yeah as awkward as this is, this is also the only time I can really mess with Erret without feeling horrible about it. So I need to savior this like a cold sip of water, the first bite out of a steak, or laying down and taking a nap after the last day of school. I need to enjoy this because I won't get another chance to partake in this joy of joys. This has to be my one chance to troll Erret without any guilt or having the back down and apologize for it later.

I'm at a loss for words as I look back to her as she stares at me from the thin gap between her hood and scarf she mad and struggle to come back to reality. Huh I didn't expect her to do that, that nearly gave me a heart attack.

"if it makes you happy, I just like it better when it isn't me" She says, smiling, straightening up as she's suddenly calm and back to normal erret as she pulls at her gloves before frowning and leaving them alone, not bothering to take them off as she carefully begins to undress.

Her robe comes first, and she sets it by her scarf, and then I notice she's wrapped bandages all along the gaps between her shirt....wait she's wearing two of them. She sighs, as I can see her ribs pocking out of her sides, as she ever so carefully removes the bandages she's wrapped her body in off.

A thick smell of beeswax, herbs, soap and even honey fill the room, undercut with a smell similar to rubbed pennies. She has a few scars along her back....which makes me feel pissed off and sad for her at the same time.

She of course keeps her undies on, and still tries to cover herself, shaking as she tip toes over the jacuzzi and tries to crawl in without disturbing the water as I lay back and cross my legs.

She just tries to make herself small, and then a few second later sighs and lays back, staring at the ceiling as she twiddles her gloves hands just under the water

"And I know I've asked before, but is all of the really necessary?" I ask, motioning with my eyes towards the discarded pile of bandages sitting by her clothes

"You know my fear. a drop of blood will spread the taint in my veins, even if it is nearly not a change at all, I will not stand for it. And a drop on another risks their own fall" She says, staring at her reflection before her head snaps back up and she stares me in the eyes, shadowy hands clawing at her now clear purple eyes

"And I would rather burn then do this to another" She says, pointing at her eyes "Especially you, my kind master....so yes it is. It keeps my blood from dripping too much, and keeps my wounds cleaned and, purifies my blood slightly. to make it less....abominable, if only slightly"

I frown and stare at my reflection as she begins to splash her feet in the water slowly, watching the ripples as the bubble jets starts and she nearly rockets out of the jacuzzi in surprise, her eyes wide and her legs shaking as I try not to laugh

"its alright, its alright, it helps with the relaxation, trust me" I say as she grumbles, calling the jacuzzi a tainted hellborn machine under her breath

She sits back down with a huff and closes her eyes, laying back like a abandoned doll. Slowly a small smile creeps across her face. She tugs at the bands holding her braids together. I smile and lay back, closing my eyes just to float away and enjoy this moment of peace.

"I am so glad you're relaxing for once" I say softly

it takes a moment for her reply with a happy giggle

"And I am happy....I am happy you let me relax. You have given me so much Belua" She says, sitting up if the water moving is any indication "And I still have so much I need to repay you for.....and thank you for telling me about whatever this jazz coozy is"

I giggle as I hear her laugh happily and lay back, with a relieved sigh
