Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After rescuing Raven and the Ctarl-Ctarl from the Tamaranean prisons, you sparred with Aisha and learned she’s actually a former wrestler. After defeating her, the Ctarl-Ctarl board their ship and left the Tamaranean colony, headed back to friendly space. Meloka then faced down the Tamaranean princess Komand’r, you sleeping trough the fight. After three months of training you arrive back on New Salda, the planet now a thriving spaceport as well. You encounter some honorable enemies, their leader determined to see his fight with you through to the end. As we rejoin the story the Jiralhanae chief has just issued his challenge.

“We still haven’t gotten to finish our fight!” he says, looking at you seriously. “I’m here to settle this.”
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Meloka asks him faux-innocently. “You weren’t exactly winning last time before your friend interfered.”
“Damn splitjaws are no friend of mine. They have no honor, insulting us both by interfering in an honorable duel!” he snarls out, settling down a bit before he continues. “But I won’t be satisfied until our fight is concluded. One way or another.”

“So we’re finishing this one way or another and that’s the end of it, huh?” you ask. “Alright I’m in, let’s do it. But not here. Let’s go over to the arena, I know some people who wouldn’t want to miss this.”
“Which arena will this be at?” a Yautja asks, walking up to the table as you all turn to him. “Its been awhile since I’ve seen you fight, Saiyan. I’m rather curious as to how much you’ve improved.”
“Hey, I remember you.” you say, standing and clasping forearms with the alien you’d fought before. “From the Pirate’s Den, right?”
“Correct.” he replies, releasing your arm. “But it seems you’ve been away for awhile. There are now three arenas open to the public. One here in the port, one in the Saiyan city, and one further out into the jungle. A massive crater was found, and it was repurposed into a giant stadium.”

You and Meloka share a glance at this, remembering back to the day you met Ubo. The Yautja notices the look but continues anyways.

“Shaped as it was, steps were carved from the rock and the bottom was leveled, creating the largest fighting arena this side of the Vox media empire. If you want a crowd, that’s the place for it.”
“Hey, thanks for the intel.” you tell him, the alien brushing your thanks off.
“Don’t thank me, I’m only helping so I can watch you fight.” he says. “But you’re welcome regardless. Should I inform them of your upcoming match?”
“Yeah sounds good.” you reply, then turn to the Jiralhanae chief. “How long before you’re ready?”
“I’m ready now.” he replies, popping his knuckles.
“Sounds good.” you say, then continuing. “I have to go round up a few people, then I’m ready. We’ll meet up and finish this at the-

“Very well, Super Saiyan. I shall meet you there.” the chief says, then turns to the Yautja as the room explodes into speculation and excitement. “Lead the way.”

You all leave the bar together after thechief pays for his men’s drinks, the Yautja taking off at a sprint and the Jiralhanae following close behind. Meanwhile you, Melokax and Raven all take to the air, flying towards the Saiyan city and the Guardian’s island.

“Are you really going to fight him?” Raven asks you.
“Yeah, looks like it.” you say, looking at her curiously. “Why wouldn’t I?”
“But you two seem to be getting along?” she asks. “There’s nothing to fight over, no leaders giving the order. Why would you hurt each other over nothing?”
“His pride.” Meloka says, catching Raven off guard. “His duel with Karn was interrupted by an assassination attempt, and it bothers his honor that someone interfered. He wants to prove it to himself that he could have won.”

Raven quietly tries to make sense of this as you all fly, soon the Saiyan city is within sight. And almost as soon it is behind you, flying over the short expanse of ocean until you are above the Guardian’s island. You’re pleasantly surprised to see Leyas and Turles, as well as Sarada and Tunnip sparring on the beach, standing off against each other with the Su Ma technique. A short distance away the Guardian is observing the four of them from his favorite rock, still the same as ever. But Chaya and Broly are nowhere to be seen. Opening your senses you find both of them inside your old ship.

While they’re all distracted with practicing, you float down, unnoticed. You gesture to the Guardian to remain quiet, the old alien nodding. Once on leve with everyone, you make your move.

“Haaa!” you shout, dashing towards the clashing pairs of Saiyans. They all turn towards you in surprise, unable to get out of the way in time. You catch Sarada and Tunnip in their middles with your outstretched arms, then slamming into Leyas and Turles as well before crashing them all down into the sand.

“What the hell?”
“What’ going on?”
“Fuck was that?”
“Was that-?”

They all started shouting at once in confusion, you then lifting the four of them up in a massive bear hug. They all complain and twist around, trying to see who or what grabbed them. Sarada manages to twist around enough, you catching the shock on her face.

“Wait, Karn?” she asks surprised. “When did you get here?”

Everyone starts shouting as you let them go, crowding around you. Meloka lands beside you, her and Tunnip catching up as you catch up with your childhood friends. You tell them about what happened on Sera and Azar, and they tell you about their training progress.

“You should see Turles here go.” Leyas says, slapping thr other Saiyan on the back. “He’s too good at this, leaving the rest of us in the dust training!”
“What can I say, this style suits me.” Turles says, much more confident than you remember him. “What about you, how’ your training been?”
“Well-“ you start, before a voice interrupts you.

Turning, you see Chaya launch herself from the ship, flying to you and Meloka. She reaches Meloka first, latching onto her armor’s collar with her fingertips. Meloka wraps her arms around your daughter, you smiling at them both. After a moment Chaya turns to you, leaping at you as well. You catch her at arm’s length and spin, tossing her up into the air. You hear her giggling as she falls back down, you catching her and holding her close. She latches onto you the same as she did Meloka.

“Missed you daddy.” she whispers, burying her face. You laugh a bit and pat her back, then you whisper back, “Missed you too kiddo.”

You then look to everyone else, and continue where you left off.

“Actually that’s part of why I’m over here. I have a fight with a Jiralhanae chief here in a few minutes at the large stadium, and I figured you guys’d want to come along.”
“Hell yeah.” Sarada says, taking the lead. “Let’s go!”
“Watch Daddy fight!” Chaya says, pumping a fist in the air. You laugh at the display, then turn to the Guardian only to see an odd sight.

Raven and the Guardian are staring each other down, Raven’s eyes are glowing white and the Guardian is standing in his open-handed stance, both looking deadly serious.

“What’s going on over here?” you shout, Meloka grabbing Chaya as you take a few steps closer.

“Into my home, a demon you’ve brought.” the Guardian says, narrowing his eyes at Raven. “Explain yours-“
“I’m NOT a demon!” Raven shouts back, gathering her glowing dark aura around her hands. She floats up into the air a bit, seperating her hands then slamming them together and firing a wave of dark energy at the Guardian. You react without thinking, leaping in front of the attack and spreading your arms wide. You take the attack head-on, snarling in pain as the dark wave hits you.

“DADDY!!” Chaya shouts at you in fear, Raven turning at the sound drops her attack. She then looks to you, fear and worry on her face. You drop to a knee, panting from the attack. Chaya rushes over to you, throwing her arms around your neck.

“Daddy, you okay?” she asks you, clearly worried.
“I’m okay kiddo, I’m okay.” you say, grabbing her and standing up, looking up to a now-horrified Raven. “Ok I’m gonna need some answers right now. What the hell was all that about?”

“I’m so sorry.” she says, flying down to you, looking ashamed. “He, he called me a demon and it made me so mad I couldn’t think. I didn’t mean to-“

You hold a hand up, cutting Raven off. You turn to the Guardian, questions for him as well.

“Why?” you ask him simply.
“A demon, she is.” he says simply, you clamping your free hand on Raven’s shoulder before she can act. “Flows through her veins, demonic energy does. Great evil, I sense in her.”
“How can you be sure?” you ask him, now curious. “I can’t sense anything of the sort.”
“Faced demons before, I have.” he says, still looking untrustingly at Raven. “And half-demons.”
“Half demons?” Meloka asks, curious. “There’s half demons?”
“Mmmm.” the Guardian says, nodding. “Half demons are made when a demon takes a mortal by force, and the victim births a child from the unholy union.”

“I-I’m really a demon...” Raven says, shocked. She holds a hand out, making a portal back to her room on the ship. You nod to Meloka, she nods back then takes off back towards your ship to comfort her.

“Well, that kinda killed the mood.” Leyas says, stating the obvious. You can’t help but agree, turning back to the Guardian.
“So I’ve still got a duel to get to.” you say. “Want to come watch?”
“Here, I will stay.” he says, sitting back down on the rock. “Watch from here, I will.”

“Alright.” you reply, lifting up into the air. The rest of the Saiyans follow you, you wave to the Guardian and take off back towards the Saiyan city. As you pass over, you wonder how you should invite the others.

Focusing your mind on Nappa, Vegeta, and Ubo simultaneously, you think out to each of them at the same time.

“Hey its me, Karn. Can you hear me?” you ask, getting near instant replies from the three of them.
“Karn!” Ubo shouts, his emotions transmitting clearly through the link. “Friend back!”
“Hey how’s it been?” Nappa asks you. “Was starting to think those Tamaraneans got you too.”
“Welcome back.” is Vegeta’s quick reply, before you continue.

“Not sure how busy you guys are, but I’m about to throw down with the Jiralhanae chief over in the crater. Want to come?”
“Ubo come watch.” Ubo says, clearly.
“Let’s go as well, Nappa.” Vegeta replies. “This can wait. And I’m rather curious as to just how strong you’ve gotten, Karn.”
“I’ll try not to disappoint you.” you reply, ending the comms. As you continue to fly, you then think to the Guardian, determined to set a few things straight.

“Just because she may be part demon doesn’t make her a bad person.” you start, without preamble. “I’ve met two other demons during my travels. One was just a big dumb beast, summoned by a planet’s Guardian to kill me. The other was the demon princess Towa herself.”
“A demon princess, you met?” he asks, astonished. “How? Still alive, you are.”
“She’s been nothing but helpful to us.” you reply, terrible memories surfacing for a moment. “She’s even saved Meloka’s life twice now.”

The Guardian doesn’t reply, you flying in silence until you reach the arena. Just as you’ve given up on a response, the Guardian replies.
“Dangerous, a debt to a demon is. A link to you both, she now has. Meeting this half-demon, a coincidence, I think not. Careful, you must be.”
“We’ll be fine.” Meloka chimes in. “If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be around anymore.”

The Guardian has nothing to say to this, ending the communication. You touch down inside the crater, the stands surprisingly already nearly half full. Everyone with you flies up into the stands except Chaya, your daughter hugging you tight.

“Get ‘em Daddy!” she says, flying up to Meloka who’d just arrived with Raven. They settle down up in the stands as well, your daughter flying up and sitting on Meloka’s shoulders. You turn from them, facing your opponent. He’s arrived armed to the teeth, one of their rocket launcher like weapons slung actoss his back, a pistol on each hip, and carrying his hammer.

“You’re early.” he says, setting his hammer down and rolling his right shoulder.
“What can I say? you ask, popping your knuckles. “I like a good fight.”

You drop down into your stance, focusing on your opponent’ powerlevel, somewhere in the 400k range. He grins at you, hefting his hammer above his head and taunting.

“Ready, Super Saiyan? We shall end this, here and now.”

Focusing on your opponent, you know he fights with weapons. Looking him over as you draw your Energy Blade, you identify several. The most obvious one is the bladed grenade launcher on his back. As you keep looking you find a few others, notably a pair of bladed pistols strapped on his hips and several spiked sticks. You remain where you are, observing the Jiralhanae chief as you wait for your moment to strike. Suddenly, it begins.

“ROOAAAR!!” the chief shouts, rushing you with his hammer held above his head. You rush to meet his charge, leaping well to the side as he swings down. Just as before, his hammer kicks up a massive shockwave, you digging your free hand into the arena floor to keep from being blown away. As soon as it ends you rush right at the chief. He lifts his hammer to slam down on you, you manage to use a Su Ma spinning technique and slip past his swing, slashing the launcher on his back before the hammer falls. The chief roars in pain, hammer slamming into the ground and sending you tumbling. You deactivate your blade as you roll, not wanting to accidentally slice yourself as you tumble.

Recovering a dozenish feet later, you rise up to your feet, the chief having grabbed the damaged weapon off his back. Instead of tossing it aside, however, he grabs the piece with the blade still attached and hurls it right at you. You panickedly leap over the spinning metal blade and barely dodging it, only for the chief to leap up in front of you, hammer raised overhead. Recognizing the danger just in time, you twist past his one-handed swing. Wait, one-handed? Twisting back to face the Jiralhanae, you recognize the danger just in time as he swings one of the bladed pistols at you with his left. Bringing your own blade up, you slice the weapon in half, the blades spinning off down towards the ground. He swings the hammer at you again, you leaping back from its arc then rushing in. He throws one of the odd spiked sticks at you, you twisting past it and closing in, cutting his other pistol in two as well as scoring a cut across his hip. Continuing your charge, you gain some distance then turn around, seeing the chief having landed back down on the arena floor.

“HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you shout, flaring your golden aura up around you. You make it a bit dramatic, your power shattering the ground around you and kicking up a huge dust cloud. Finishing your shout, you sigh out, having transformed up into a Super Saiyan. You hear something, looking up you see another of the odd spiked stick weapons spinning down toward you. Lifting a hand, you fire Death Beam through it and it explodes, the size of the blast surprising you. You hear a sound behind you, you turning and seeing the chief rushing you, catching you completely off-guard. Before you could guard yourself, he slams his hammer directly into your chest, the shockwave blasting you away. You slam hard into the wall around the arena, you taking a moment to get yo r bearings then flaring your aura up a bit, shattering the wall around you as you float back over towards the chief.

“Not bad.” you say, popping your neck then dropping back down into your stance. “But you’ll have to do better than that!”

Exploding off of the ground, you rush headlong at the chief. His eyes widen in surprise at your speed, slamming his hammer down as fast as he can. Instead of blocking it, you dash past him, planting your feet into the ground as the shockwave hits you. As soon as the wave passes, you dash backwards back towards him and spin into a left kick to the side of his head. Your strike staggers him, you twisting and flipping over into a right axe kick crashing hard into his left shoulder, dislocating if with an audible pop. The chief snarls in pain, swinging the hammer up at you with his right arm. Backflipping past it, you land on your hands, pushing yourself into a flip and landing on your feet and rocketing back towards the now off-balance chief. You deliver a crushing right into his gut, his armor cracking from the blow. Following it up with an uppercut, you launch the chief into the air, you flipping from the force of the strike and landing on your feet, rocketing up towards him.

Stunned, the chief is unable to counter. You attack with the Su Ma, twisting and flipping around the stunned Jiralhanae and striking him from every side. He’s unable to fight back, your strikes knocking him around helplessly. You finish the attack with a two-handed axe-handle, sending the chief crashing hard into the arena floor below. Drifting down, you land beside the massive dust cloud covering the new crater in the arena floor, you waiting to see if he gets up.

Listening closely, you hear a faint humming sound. Peering into the thinning dust you see what appears to be a glowing green light. What could he be doing?

You peer at the light, the green glow somehow familiar. You drop into your stance and watch the glow, trying to remember. Suddenly, it hits you!

You’re in the air, clashing blades with one of the Sangheili when your blades lock together, you firing a blast from your mouth. The splitjaw ducked the blast, lifting a glowing green pistol and placing it against your stomach, firing a blast that pierced straight though you. You remember the excruciating pain, falling helplessly through the air.

That’s what he’s doing! He must have one of those pistols as well, and somehow you missed it. Acting quickly, you activate your Barrier, watching the glow from behind its safety. As soon as your Barrier fully coalesces into existance, the chief fires the blast, your shield negating his attack completely. Rushing through the thinning smoke, he then slams his hammer against your barrier, shattering it. You feel the impact all over your body, but it left the Jiralhanae wide open. Seizing the opening, you unleash a move you hadn’t yet tried out in battle. Creating an Energy Bomb in your hand, you rush close to the chief. He tries to bring his hammer back down on top of you, but he is too slow. You swing forward, instead of striking with the energy you swipe, the orb splitting into dozens of smaller blasts, striking the Jiralhanae and the ground around him and blasting him away.

The Jiralhanae tumbles through the air, crashing hard to the arena floor. You walk over towards him, the chief trying to pick himself up off of the floor. He manages to make it to a knee, holding himself upright with his hammer’s haft and panting heavily.

For a split-second, you consider attacking him. But you think better of it, instead walking over to the downed Jiralhanae chief. He looks up as you approach, a hint of fear in his eyes.

“Yo-You’ve gotten much stronger than before.” he pants out, still struggling to rise. “But I’m still not going to-“

You interrupt him, holding out your hand toward the downed warrior. He looks at your hand confused, then looks up to you. He closes his eyes and sighs out, letting go of his hanmer and grabbing onto your forearm. You help hoist the heavy warrior to his feet, the audience in stunned silence. The Jiralhanae and your old teammates react first, cheering and applauding. The rest take it up, the entire stadium cheering the end of the match.

“You are an honorable warrior.” the chief says, his people coming down to support him by the shoulders so he doesn’t fall over, another grabbing his hammer up off the ground. “I’m satisfied, you’ve won this fight, Super Saiyan. Our business here is finished, we’re going back now.”
“You sure you don’t want to stick around awhile?” you ask, the chief shaking his head.
“I’ve been away too long as it is.” he replies, his people starting to carry him away. “But I’ll see you again, once I’m stronger.”

You simply nod to this, the warriors then marching away. You hear a shout from the stands, turning you see Chaya flying headlong at you. You catch your daughter in your arms, her staring at your hair and eyes wide-eyed.

“Daddy amazing!” she says, grabbing onto your blonde hair. “I’mma be tuff like Daddy!”
“Haha, one day kiddo.” you say, hoisting her onto your shoulder as everyone else drops down.

“Well that was fun.” Tunnip says, holding a rather large amount of credits in her hands and counting them without looking up.
“So what now?” Leyas asks you. “Going back to the island? Or does someone else want to catch a fight while we’re here?”

“I’ll be sitting this next one out.” you say. “I’m curious how you guys’ training is going.”
“Then let’s put them to the test.” Meloka says, flaring her aura up and flashing into her Super Saiyan form. “All four of you, come at me at once!”

At Meloka’s declaration, the audience explodes into cheers. A four v one against a Super Saiyan? They can’t get enough. You float up into the stands and sit beside Raven, Chaya climbing down off your head to sit on your lap, then turns to you.

“What’s Momma doin?” she asks you, looking worried.
“Don’t worry about Momma.” you say, ruffling her hair. “She’ll be fine. Let’s watch her, and don’t forget to cheer her on.”
“GOOOO MOMMAAAAA!!!” Chaya shouts, jumping up and pumping her fist. You chuckle to yourself, even hearing a small laugh from Raven beside you, then you focus on the fight.

Leyas, Sarada, Tunnip and Turles have surrounded Meloka, looking between each other uncertainly while Meloka just stands there with her arms crossed, golden aura flowing around her. You notice her tapping her fingers on her arm impatiently, she’s gonna strike.

“If you guys aren’t gonna make a move, I will.” Meloka says, lifting her left arm and creating a Super Energy Bomb in seconds. The four Saiyans flare their auras, shooting their attacks at the bomb. But you could almost hear Meloka’s smirk from there, she’s got a plan. Before any of the attacks connect her blast explodes out into a swarm of smaller blasts that start raining down on the other Saiyans. Turles and Tunnip activate Barriers of their own, while Leyas and Sarada try their best and block the swarm of attacks. The arena disappears in the flashing lights, Chaya “Ooooooh!” and “Aaaaaaah”-ing at the spectacle. You feel Raven fidgeting beside you, you turning to look at her staring at you.

“Did you mean what you said before?” she asks you.
“Of course I did.” you reply, Chaya cheering on, oblivious. “About what?”
“About being ok if I’m a demon.” she says, you noticing her fists clenching. “When I was little, some of the other adults called me a demon, a devilspawn, cursed, a monster. What if they’re right and I am?”
“So what if they are?” you ask her, the young witch turning to face you completely shocked. “So what if it turns out your father was an actual demon? Does that somehow mean you have to be evil too?”
“No, but-“ she starts, you interrupting her.
“But nothing.” you reply. “I didn’t know my father either. If it turns out he was a demon, does that mean I have to change who I am? Of course not. You are who you choose to be, Raven. Not who your parents are.”

She goes silent at this, contemplating what you said as you turn your attention back to the fight. And its really heating up now.

Leyas and Sarada are attacking Meloka fully synced in Su Ma, their attacks perfectly coordinated. Meloka isn’t giving ground, however; she’s still holding her own even aginst the attacks coming in from multiple angles. But you see their game plan, Sarada and Leyas are buying time for Turles and Tunnip to bring in their big attacks. Meloka, too occupied with the siblings’ onslaught, is unable to stop them. You see Turles charging up his odd ring attack, putting much more power into it than usual. Before you can question it he nods to Tunnip, she makes a giant ki hammer as Turles shouts to the siblings as he fires.

“NOW!!” he roars, Sarada and Leyas both leaping different directions as Turles’ ring splits into several, the different rings trapping Meloka inside and unable to move. Tunnip leaps, and with a shout of “Sorry Mel!” she smashes the hammer down on top of Meloka, the construct exploding and obscuring the area in a cloud of dust.

“MOMMA!!” Chaya shouts, trying to leap out of your lap and go down there. You catch her with both arms around her middle, pulling her back to you and turning her to face you. She looks at you, panicking and shouting, “Go help Momma!”

“Momma tuff?” she asks you, wide-eyed with wonder.
“Momma’s fine.” you say, ruffling her hair with one hand while sweeping your other hand hardbehind her back, the powerful gust you cause clearing the dust hanging in the air. “Momma’s fine, just look.”

She turns around, and sure enough Meloka’s fine, floating up and out of a new crater in the arena floor and popping her neck.

“YAAAAAAAAY MOMMA!!” Chaya shouts, Raven and the other nearby Saiyans clutching her ears in pain. “YOU DA TUFFEST!!”

“That was a good one.” Meloka says, now rolling her right shoulder. “Good teamwork, but you’re gonna need more powet than that to beat me! HAAAAAA!!!”

As Meloka shouts she flares her aura, the ground cracking underneath her feet. Pumped up, she assumes a different stance, bouncing on the balls of her feet with her arms held up in a defensive stance.

“C’mon, show me what you got!”
“Goooo Momma!!” Chaya shouts in encouragement, nearly leaping out of the stands, held back by your arms around her.

Leyas and Sarada waste no time, rushing Meloka again. But this time she’s ready, anticipating their strikes. She ducks Leyas’s swing and blocks Sarada’s kick with her right hand. Catching her foot, Meloka spins and slams the siblings into each other, sending them both flying into the far wall. Turles attacks the opening, unleashing a barrage of powerful blasts that slam into Meloka, pummeling her down into the ground. Tunnip, meanwhile, is gathering her power into her right palm, preparing a single, big strike. Meloka surges up from the ground, dancing between Turles’s blasts, moving fast enough to get behind him before he can realize it. Lifting both hands overhead, she slams both her fists in an axe handle into Turles’s back, sending him slamming into the ground. Turning, she sees Tunnip about to attack her.

“FINAL SHINE ATTACK!!”

Tunnip’s full-power attack slams into Meloka, the green wave slamming into her hard enough for you to feel she shockwaves, you lifting your arms in front of Chaya and keeping the worst of the waves off of her.

“MOMMA!!” Chaya shouts. “You can do it!!”

“Rrrrrraaaaaa!!” Meloka shouts, firing her own wave directly into Tunnip’s. The two waves clash, Meloka and Tunnip pushing against each other. But it isn’t much of a contest, Meloka swiftly pushing Tunnip’s own attack back into her, it detonating on contact.
“Gyaaaaah!” Tunnip screams out, crashing from the sky down into the stands.

“Yaaaay!” Chaya shouts, her aura slightly flaring up around her as she cheers. “Momma did it!”

“She’s doing good so far, but it isn’t over yet kiddo.” you say, patting her head.
“Huh?” she asks, turning to look at you. “Momma didn’t win?”
“Not yet.” you say, pointing back to the fight. “Look and see.”
Chaya turns back around in time to see that the fight is indeed not yet over.

Turles and Leyas both have rushed Meloka, spinning and twisting while attacking with the Su Ma and keeping her on the defensive. She’s holding her own but losing ground, the two forcing her backward. Distracted, she doesn’t notice Sarada dashing up behind her.

“Momma look out!” Chaya shouts, Meloka not looking and instead firing off a quick Explosive Wave and knocking the three of them back. Meloka drops to the ground, the three of them dropping around her at a cautious distance.

“Is Momma gonna win?” Chaya asks, turning to you.

“Those names are appropriate.” you say, chuckling a bit. “So do you know who will win?”
“Momma’s energy is bwaaaaaa!” she says, throwing her arms up and falling backward into you. “Momma’s bigger than them!”

“Wait, you can sense their energy?” you ask, startled. “How long have you known how to do that?”
“Hmm? Teacher taught me.” she says, as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
“Good job kiddo.” you tell her, patting her head as she beams up at you. “Let’s watch Momma finish this.”
“Yaaaaaaaa!” she shouts, standing up in your lap. “Goooo Momma!!”

Leyas, Sarada, and Turles all leap at Meloka at the same time, preparing to fight it out. But it seems Meloka’s ready to end this. She twists through their joint attack faster than they can react, the three slamming headfirst into each other. They all clutch their heads, not paying attention for a moment to Meloka. She dashes up, chopping both Leyas and Sarada on the necks and knocking them both out. Turles looks back and forth between them then to Meloka, gritting his teeth in frustration.

“Not bad, Turles.” Meloka says. “You’ve gotten quite a lot stronger. But its over now.”
“Like hell it is!” he shouts, flaring his aura up and dashing at her. She dodges his punch, leaning her head to the side. Before he can counter, she delivers a knee straight to his gut. The Saiyan clutches his stomach and now-broken armor, dropping to a knee and coughing up blood. Meloka looks down at him, Turles slamming a fist into the ground in vain.

“Dammit! I-I will...!” he says, trying to rise again. Suddenly you feel something, a flare of ki coming from him. It sends chills running down your spine, Chaya feeling it too. Even Meloka feels it, taking a step back from Turles. “I will not....!”
“Daddy I’m scared!” Chaya says, turning from the fight and burying her face into your chest. You wrap your arms around her, staring in awe down at Turles.

“I won’t lose! N-Not yet! Rrrraaaaaaa!!” he shouts, his aura and hair flaring golden for a moment. But it seems it was just for a moment, his eyes rolling up into the back of his head and him falling forward, unconcious. The entire arena is silently looking on, shocked. Did he just....?

Everyone stares on, shocked by what they have just witnessed. Turles, who was once just another low-class warrior, had surpassed his limits. It was only for a brief moment, like the flicker of a flame, but he had achieved the legend and become a Super Saiyan. Suddenly you all hear clapping far above. Looking up, you see King Vegeta is the one clapping, flanked by Ubo and Nappa. Soon everyone takes the cue, applauding and cheering the match. Vegeta floats down to Meloka, the two sharing words you can’t hear over the crowd but you do see Ubo grab Meloka into one of his powerful bear hugs. You gesture to Raven, the1,118,700 both of you floating down to stand by Vegeta and Meloka.

“Friend!!” Ubo shouts, going to hug you too. You lift your arms, getting Chaya out of harm’s way as Ubo does his usual greeting ritual of trying to crush you. “Miss you.”
“Missed you too Ubo.” you say, Chaya floating out of your hand and to Meloka.
“Momma da best!” she shouts, Meloka catching her and laughing.
“You put on quite a show.” Vegeta says to Meloka, cracking his knuckles. “And now I’m all pumped up. Karn, Meloka, would one of you do me the honor of going a few rounds?

“I knew you’d say that.” he smirks, then gestures to the still ko’d Saiyans laying around. “Hey Ubo, can you take care of them?”
“Ubo will help.” he says, lifting Turles over one shoulder, Leyas over another, then scoops up Sarada and Tunnip each with one arm then flies off, presumably towards the Guardian.

“Now, let us get started.” Vegeta says, tossing his cape aside and dropping into his stance to the cheers of the audience.

“Brings back memories.” you say, dropping into your own stance as well.
“I’m much stronger than I was back then.” Vegeta says, smirking at you. “There’s no way I’ll lose today. HAAAAAAA!!!”

With a shout Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan as well, you two golden warriors staring each other down, waiting for your opening.

“GO DADDY!!” Chaya shouts from the stands, you smiling and hearing her above the entire rest of the audience’s cheering and shouting.

“We'll see about that, Vegeta.” you say, flaring your aura up, Vegeta matching it. “This body of mine has been through hell the past year, and I’ve gotten much stronger as well.”
“Then let’s put that strength to the test!” the young king shouts, exploding off the ground at you. He swings with a right, you blocking it with your left forearm. He follows up with a left, which you block with the same arm then you swing a left backfist at him. Vegeta backflips, ducking under your strike and trying to kick you in the chin, which you lean back to avoid. The young king springs back off his hands, gaining some distance.

“Not bad.” he says, smiling. “Now try this! HAAAA!!”

Vegeta fires a swarm of powerful blasts at you, intent on wearing you down. But you’re ready for a move like this. Throwing out your arms you activate your Barrier, the glowing protective field coalescing right before Vegeta’s attacks hit. His blasts pummel your barrier, but you hold it steady with relative ease. These kinds of attacks are what it was designed for. Focusing your senses, you feel Vegeta on the move, landing behind you as his last blast slams into your shield. You act unawares, lowering your shield and looking over to where he was. Vegeta, thinking his ruse worked, blasts off the ground at your back. But you were prepared, twisting and blocking his heavy right kick. He looks at you shocked, but only for a moment. Taking advantage of the opening you punch Vegeta with a hard right to the face and sending the king flying backwards.

The audience bursts into cheers and applause, Vegeta flipping and landing back on his feet.
“GOO DADDY!!” you hear Chaya shouting, you smiling a bit as Vegeta flips midair and landing on his feet, spitting a bit of blood then wiping his mouth on the back of his glove.

“Just what I expected.” Vegeta says, again dropping into his stance. “Show me more!”

“Go Daddy go!” Chaya shouts as you explode off of the ground at Vegeta. You swing early, using the momentum to double frontflip into a crushing axe kick. King Vegeta stands his ground, crossing his arms in an X to block your strike. The impact is tremendous, crumbling the ground beneath your king’ feet and him sinking up to his knees in the rubble. But he held firm, blocking your strike. Before he can capitalize on your opening you flip back, kicking up with your other foot. The king leans back, barely dodging your foot as you flip back to your feet and launch yourself at him again. He launches himself at you as well, fists colliding. The shock from your punches is extraordinary, shattering the arena below you. You both start clashing, swinging at each other at high speeds. When you try the twists and flips of the Su Ma, however, Vegeta gains the upper hand. His knowledge of the technique allows him pinpoint accuracy, striking you in your momentary blind spots then blocking your strikes in return. Despite your advantage in speed, his knowledge of the technique keeps you from landing a decisive blow, getting hit over a dozen times in the process. Locking punches again, you both backflip to burn off the momentum, you both landing back into your stances.”

“Not bad, King Vegeta.” you say, panting slightly. “You’ve improved quite a lot.”
“I’m just getting started!” he shouts, flaring his aura again as his ki begins to swell. What’ he up to now?
