....and so, while there may be a case made for natural psychopathy or perhaps even a form of wendigo psychosis, the facts as known seem to indicate a dedication to protecting his country and a desire to terrify his enemies rather than any supernatural elements. Though he might be attributed with being the source for many myths and legends, there is no evidence of any sort that Vlad Dracula was anything more than a vicious and troubled human being with a penchant for extreme measures in the service of his people and homeland.

Fin: Caitrin Foster

Leaning back in your chair you sigh and take off your glasses, rubbing your eyes with your other hand. A soft knock at the door interrupts you, and you call, "Come in!" It can only be your mother of course; your father is away on business. Hitting 'save', you pull yourself up in your seat to forestall any comments about your posture.

"Hey sweetheart. I made some pasta salad and wrapped the chicken up, so you can take that to school tomorrow if you like." Your mother smiles and walks around your bed to lean against your shoulder, giving you a one-armed hug from the side. "Ooh, finally finished huh?"

"Yeah. Preternatural biology research paper. Nothing special, it's been done a thousand times. Doc Jenner just wants to see out bibliographies and how in depth we get, I bet." You yawn and lean back looking up at her; you only use your glasses for reading, and you have a few pair since they seem to wander off so often. "How about you?"

"Oh, just heading to bed, early shift - OHMYGOD!" She takes a step back and lifts her hand.

"Please don't hit her, mama. She's harmless." You're unsurprising at her reaction; you're more surprised she didn't notice sooner.

"I've never seen one that big!" she exclaims a little breathlessly. "How on earth did that get in here?"

You glance at the lampshade. "Though the window. I let Herbert in my window. Like I said, she's harmless. I'll take care of it later. You have to be careful of the wings; sphinx moths can get even bigger than that." You smile as you mother suppresses a shudder. "go to bed mom, I'm fine." You're pretty sure your shadow is laughing its head off.

"Well, if you say so." Caela leans closer and you tense, but nothing happens and your mother doesn't sweat the lampshade. "How do you know it's a female?"

"Male moths have feathery antennae," you reply as you stand up to give you mom a hug. She hugs you back, relaxing once she's sure the giant moth she thinks she is looking at isn't going to eat her face or anything ridiculous like that. "Night, mama."

"Goodnight sweetie. Don't stay up too late." She heads out and you glance at the lampshade.
>>
"I won't," you promise, though you may or may not be able to keep that promise. Kiora watches your mother leave from the lampshade she's sitting on with the same impassive expression you've seen wild animals have. It would have been terrible for your mom to have hit her; it wouldn't have been beyond Kiora to take an eye, or worse. "She didn't mean anything by it, darling," you reassure the diminutive fae, who looks up at you with glittering eyes of pink and lavender. "You want some honey?" Kiora smiles brightly, her somber mood gone instantly. "Yeah, that's what I thought."

Then she peers behind you. You start to turn, and the soft, mellifluous voice makes you jump. "Honestly, I am surprised that your mother is still unhurt after calling your friend a moth."

Once your heart stops trying to leap out of your throat and impale itself on your pen-holder, you turn around and glare at the lean, dark haired beauty sitting on your bed. "Curse it Karen, how do you do that!?" The olive skinned woman smiles up at you from your bed as she lays back, resting on her elbows. "You took ten years off my life!"

Her green eyes glitter malevolently; they're quite striking in the badly lit room, considering she wears nothing but black turtlenecks and slacks. "It is a secret."

[X] Feed Kiora while you try and calm your scattered nerves.

You open your top desk drawer and sit back down, rather huffily ignoring Karen. You don't have to look to know she has a smirk on her face. "It's pretty rude to enter uninvited, you know."

"I am not a vampire," she comments in her lilting voice, "and I like scaring you."

"Vampires don't exist," you tell her primly, as you pull out a jaw of honey from the stash of faerie snacks you keep in that drawer. Kiora slide off the lampshade and her wings hum loudly in the quiet room as she slowly lowers herself to the desk. She leans over the jaw, studying the label. To be perfectly honest you're not entirely sure she can read English. "No one has ever proven otherwise, and we have all too much proof of almost everything else."

Karen sits up, hands on her knees and watches with interest as you take a tiny tea-stirring spoon and swirl some honey onto it. "Is that so? How curious." You glance sidelong at her, ignoring with great difficulty your shadow's lascivious behavior as it falls across Karen's legs. "Do you want to make your guess now?"

Kiora smiles up at you, and slowly dips her fingers into the tiny dollop of honey, her expression becomes positively alluring as she opens her mouth, tilts her head back, and lets the honey drizzle into her mouth, tiny tongue extended. It's enough to make you blush. "You are far too sexy for someone of your stature, even for a girl like me," you tell her and she curtsies for you and gives you a wicked smile, pleased with the compliment.

Propping the spoon in the lid, you sit down and turn to face Karen, who grins maliciously at you. you don't know exactly what Karen is, only that she isn't human, isn't a lycanthrope, and doesn't eat vegetables or meat. She's definitely not a vampire. She allows you to guess what she might be every time she visits, and she enjoys teasing you for no reason you can figure out. "Maybe later," you reply with a sigh as you shut down your laptop. "What brings you here anyways?"

"I was hunting and decided to stop by." You glance at your closed - and screened - window. you weren't lying about Herbert; the lanky tabby likes yowling at your window to be let in. "You and your lovely friend are most interesting."

"Thank you? Seriously, I'm not sure that's a compliment!"

"It is," Karen informs you.

"All right....if you say so." Glancing at your books, you sigh and run a hand through your tangled hair.

[X] Pull out your Book of Shadows and do a sketch of Karen; you need the practice.
[X] Try and tease a little more information out of Karen; you're allowed, even if you only get one guess.

Karen showed up at your window one evening a year ago. Since you're on the second floor of your home, that was kind of surprising, especially with no trees nearby. She struck up a conversation with you, mostly because she heard you were a witch from someoen who thought she could use your help. It turned out she did need your help; someone had put a mild and irritating curse on her, which was relatively easy to remove but hampered her life quite a bit. since then she's habitually visited you at least two or three times a week, usually shortly before you go to bed.

Pulling your spell-book out you unlatch it. The lapis lazuli and moonstones it is decorated with are genuine, even if the 'gold' isn't. You thumb the catch on the lock and Karen sits up interested. "Do you mind if I draw you? I have to practice my drawing skills at least. Kiora is going to be a bit." You smile fondly at the pixie who is sitting in the lid of the jar and feeding herself the honey in the same sensual manner, and making rather a mess of herself.

"Would you like me to undress?" Karen teases mildly as she stretches out on your bed.

"That won't be necessary," you reply mildly. So not your type. "Unless you're a nymph of some sort and you'll strike me blind. That would be different." Pulling a stick of pencil lead from your pen-cup, you open your book to the back, and start making sweeping, slow movements across the rough paper.

"Nymphs do not do that," she informs you casually, as though encountering such creatures is an everyday thing. Propping her head up she studies you, emerald eyes wandering slowly. "You wish to improve your drawing skills?"

"It's a good idea. I might need to get exact details, and I'm not bad, but I'm not great either. Hey, you're not trying to seduce me....or hunt me, are you?" You try and make the question casual, but sometimes she reacts strangely to questions.

"Seduce perhaps, but not hunt. You would not make a very good meal. I would most likely become ill." That's something new. You know she doesn't eat people per se, as far as you know, so it must be something else that she takes nourishment from.

"Well, you're Mediterranean, maybe even Greek, so I wondered. You're not a Goddess, I don't think." Her smile makes you pause. "You're not, are you?"

"Have you met many Goddesses?" she asks curiously, grinning. Her grin fades as you look at your book somberly. She almost looks concerned. Kiora looks over at you, and licks her fingers clean, watching you carefully.

There are many pantheons. Caitrin is mostlyn involved with Celtic ones, but she's aware that some fae are considered deities, and is familiar with Norse and some Native American ones, as well as some Chinese ones.

[X] ....that's kind of private for witches, you know. Bargain.

You're not a member of a coven, and your particular deities don't consider your allegiance to necessarily be secret, but the opportunity to trade information wouldn't be a violation of any oaths or promises or rules that you're aware of. "That is a rather personal question to ask of a witch, Karen," you say quite seriously, lowering your book to your lap. "It's not the kind of thing you can discuss with just anyone."

Karen sits up, smiling archly. "But I am not just anyone, am I, Caitrin?" She pushes one of her shoes off and draws her leg up as well, making herself a very lovely model pose, but it strikes you as slightly artificial, her heart isn't in it despite her suggestion that she might enjoy seducing you. "Tell me what Goddess spoke with you. I am curious now."

Closing your book you lean back in your seat, and play with the ribbon tying your hair back. Kiora finishes her meal and is leaps up to the edge of your water glass and slowly slides into it, kicking her feet lazily and keeping her wings high as she hangs on the edge of the glass. You lick lips gone dry from nerves and try not to bite you lip. "Tell me what kind of creature you are, and i'll tell you which Goddess I met."

Smiling wickedly she shakes her head. "I will not tell you that so directly. But if you tell me which Goddess, I will tell you three things I am not that you did not know previously."

"Three things, and what you eat," you counter.

The strange woman tilts her head. "Three things and when I woke to my self." Oh, something new! "But what guarantee do you give that you will be truthful?"

You look at her seriously, and Kiora shakes her head at the woman, which seems to amuse Karen. "I can't lie. It would violate my pact with Kiora. I can hide the truth, but if I knowingly tell a lie, Kiora will leave me." And you wouldn't like that. Kiora is more than a familiar spirit or a magical helper, she's a friend. You don't have many.

"Very well. You first."
>>
You take a deep breath. "I was under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms, and Danu came to me." She doesn't react. Well, she doesn't recognize the name, anyways, which is a clue all it's own. "Danu is the goddess of the fae and the Celts. She's the Mother and the Earth Goddess, the form of all Feminine Power. She told me I was hers, and she would guide and take care of me. That's when my power matured." You give your shadow a hard look as it flips you off. "And also when that happened, but i'm not sure it's actually related. She's not the only Goddess I dedicate my prayers to, but she's the only one I've met."

Karen looks mollified, and sits up, toeing off her other shoe before crossing her legs. "I woke to my self, became aware of myself ass a being and a person, in the year three hundred and fifty two, before the birth of the Nailed God." You stare at her. "I did not know of him as such at the time of his birth or his passing, so do not bother to ask me. Nor have I spent all that time awake - I sleep for long periods of time." You shake your head. Your history teacher would have a fit.

Karen smiles at you and rubs one stocking-covered toe against the opposite ankle. "I am not a dragon, nor am I a naga - the two being related, I shall count them as one." They're not related at all, but you don't correct her. "I am not a spirit animal such as the Native Americans speak of. I am also not one of the other forms of nymphs that you may know of, which accounts for much." You lean back, letting your breath out slowly. So, not faerie, not lycanthrope, not nymph or related to them, not dragon (not that those have been documented outside of rare quetzalcoatl, which aren't really dragons), not dwarf or elf, and definitely not human or near human.

You hesitate....because she didn't answer the previous question. Or deny it for that matter.

Compilation of clues from earlier posts. I don't know, even if we're a prodigy at witchcraft, it seems unlikely that we could fix something that a deity couldn't shake off, but I might be overestimating gods in this setting.

The idea of awakening, depending on interpretation - awakening conscience from nothing, or awakening supernatural being from person - seem a fit for all or none of these respectively. Makes it tough to guess. Skinwalker would be kind of cool so I'm guessing that.

I like the idea, my main worry is whether that would qualify under the 'spirit animal' category. I mean, obviously she's not an animal. But the role and rules of a Psychopomp is very similar.

I don't really think it fits, they actively spread sickness and disease wherever they go. Most Native Americans don't even say their name because of the shit that's fucked up with their whole mythos, I don't think we'd be having a casual conversation with a skinwalker is what I'm trying to say
>>
>>2294774
I think she specifically referred to spirit animals in a native American context though. Also from what I understand, skinwalkers are a class of evil native American witches, that seem more malevolent than what we're looking at.

My second guess is Sphinx, except they very much eat people, or at least are said to do so.
>>
>>2294786
There's two traditions of the Skinwalker myth, the human kind which are dark shamans/mystics that steal the skin of animals and spread disease.

And the first people, who do largely the same thing but are fucking sadistic evil nutcases who were basically angels to the great spirit and got left on earth. Coyote fought one in one of the pueblo people's stories.
>>
If we're looking at Greek mythology, not Vampire, not Lycan and not any form of Nymph really rules out a lot of potential answers. And most of those remaining are basically only candidates because of not being on the exclusion list rather than because they otherwise fit very well, such as Eidolons or the like.
>>

Caitrin is an average witch, actually.
>>
>>2294743
>[] Are you a Daemon or Daimon?
>>
>>2294794
That makes it even more unlikely that a goddess would need her help, unless it was just a pretext, but it doesn't sound like it is one.
>>
>>2294799
Could be a kind of curse that's almost impossible to remove for the victim but comparatively simple for anyone else.
>>
>>2294789
In either, her being a skinwalker is neither something we want to be true, nor would Caitrin's safety be guaranteed if she guessed correctly.
>>

What does Caitrin remember about the curse she lifted in what it specifically did, or is that not really relevant?

[X] Are you a Daemon or Daimon?
[X] Write in? Psychopomp perhaps, or conceptual being?

You take a moment, considering what you've learned. It isn't much, and most of it is what she isn't. Her reluctance to answer certain questions or her strange reactions to them, and her sheer age, sleeping time or not, and the locale....

Kiora waves at you and you offer your finger to her, pulling her out of the water. Open your drawer again you pull out a soft washcloth, clean and dry, and lay it out for her. She sits down on it and pulls it up around her waist, rubbing herself down carefully. Her wings aren't terribly fragile, but she takes care with them despite that. You brush her damp hair back from her brow and she smiles up at you.

"Well, I have an idea, but it's not exactly a singular guess." You put the honey away, and pop the tea-stirring spoon into your mouth, sucking the sharp-sweet clover honey from it. Dropping the tiny spoon into the water glass, you turn around to find Karen standing over you, looking down at you. She's tall for a Greek, almost six feet tall, and she makes you feel positively tiny standing like that. You lean back, and try and control your pounding heart as she grins down at you.

"That sounds interesting," she murmurs as she plants her hands on either side of the top of your chain, leaning you back. It's everything you can don not to fling your legs out; in addition to your desk being in the way, Karen has never actually touched you without permission, and she's never hurt you or even threatened to hurt you. Scared you half to death, like she's doing now? Definitely. "I am willing to listen."

"Your name....when you say it, that's not an accent, or a deliberate mispronunciation, is it." She doesn't answer, but she smirks at you, pressing the chair back and making your stomach drop at least a foot. You swallow, looking up at her dusky skin, those emerald eyes, that dark hair. "You're a daemon of some sort, aren't you. A specific kind of one though."

"Am I?" she asks softly, her tongue slipping across her lips lightly. Teasing, surely. Hopefully.

"You're a psychopomp. Not just any psychopomp, but a specific psychopomp. Not really a God....Your name is spelled Cee-Aitch-Ae-Arr-Oh-En, isn't it. A conceptual daemon, escorting the dead across the river Styx." You reach into your pocket, and feel the lacquered wood of the handle of the sgian-dubh there. Just for comfort.
>>
She slowly stands up straight, not letting your chair come up suddenly as she looks at you with glittering eyes. "No....but yes to the second part. That is my name, but the daemon was created in my image and name, not the other way around. Ghouls were more plentiful back then. It is harder to find any now. Lycanthropes have become as little more common again. There was a long time where food was scarce. I think the vampires were wiped out entirely. They do not generate often at all."

You stare at Karen. Charon. Kiora flits onto your shoulder and sits there, hands between her legs and looking up at Karen with interest. "What."

She looks at you with a smile. "What I consume is carried in the flesh, but not the flesh itself. Rarefied energies of magic and life, found in the flesh of creatures of magic and the risen corpses. Difficult to find. Creatures like myself are rare. Our territories are very large, and we can easily over hunt and area. There is a word for us, in one of your languages, so you will figure it out eventually, I am sure." She toes on her simple loafers once again, and rises to her tip-toes. "Come dancing with me later this week. Perhaps Friday."

Her sudden change of subject scatters your already shocked sensibilities. "Wait, which language?! And dancing where? I don't go dancing!" Kiora looks at you with bright, wide eyes as you flail for some handle on the situation. "And i'm definitely not going to any of your latex and leather places!"

Karen smiles and suddenly crouches, clasping her hands together. "You will come dancing with me, and I will give you a small gift. A clue as to what I am." Kiora looks dubious and you agree with her. "There is no obligation to drink or to go to a hotel with me. Your little friend can chaperone."

You blush furiously. "You had better not try to eat her - if you think I'd give you indigestion, trying to eat her might kill you." Kiora nods solemnly.

Karen's smile widens and she looks up at you earnestly. "Your magic and hers are too raw. Too heavy. It would be like a hundred year old man trying to eat raw steak. It might taste all right but it would surely make him sick, and not be very nutritious. You do not need to worry about her safety. Or yours." She closes her hand over something and takes your hand, forcing you to open your palm. she's strong. "You are my friend. One of three in this whole city, Caitrin. I would not hurt you."

She drops a small, heavy crystal in your hand. You have no idea where she got it from - she didn't reach into her pocket, and you've never seen her wear any jewelry. "You wear something close fitting and pretty. Definitely flats; I would rather you do not break an ankle." There was no question of that happening. "It would be nice if you wore something lacy underneath though."

You open your mouth to retort, clutching the gem in your hand, but Kiora kicks your shoulder lightly with her heel. "Honey? You okay?" your mother.

Turning to Karen she lifts a finger to her lips, and smiles. She then reaches past you, coming uncomfortably close to you, her lips almost brushing your cheek - is that her boob against your arm?! "I will see you Friday," she whispers as she turns off your light.

As you go to push her off you, your hand meets nothing but empty air. A deep hum and a lightening of your shoulder tells you Kiora has taken flight; she's heavier than one would expect for being six inches tall. You try and look around to see anything at all, even movement, when the light pops back on. Kiora zips up through the shade to look around the room with you. Thanking her would piss her off so you don't say anything, just appreciate it.

Empty.

You stand up and glance at the still shut and screened window. "Fine, mama. Just going back to bed." Opening your hand you look at the reddish crystal in your hand, twice the size of your thumbnail and cut in a triangular pattern. It catches the light beautifully, the shades of red and purple changing as you move it in the light. Kiora flies over and hovers next to your hand, marveling at the glistening gem. The way it sparkles and gleams reminds you of something you've seen recently. "No way...."

Opening the long drawer of your desk you taken out the makeup mirror inside and stand it up. You bite your lip, and draw the crystal along the edge of the mirror....which leaves a deep scratch, even though you didn't put much pressure on it.

A diamond?

Thank you for reading and playing. We'll return to Which, Craft, Witch next week (hoping for Wednesday), as I have training for some poor sap tomorrow and the next day. but the schedule is planned for 3-4 days a week, starting near midnight, any day from Wednesday to Saturday.

Thanks for running! An interesting set-up, being more character-focused than establishing setting or plot. Unless handling Karen IS the plot of course. Playing guess who was fun!

Wonder who her other friends might be.
>>
I will also be workign on the spell book. Next up being spells, it will include the ever useful all purpose curse "Hex", along with "Find The Path", "Brew Sleeping Draught", and a couple of others. If anons have any suggestions for suitable witchcraft, I will happily take them.
>>
>>2294901
The setting is close to the same as Incidents in an Orphanage and it is set in the same city, though set in different locales. More setting exposition will happen when Cait goes to class the next day.
>>
>>2294899
Really fun first session thanks, XS. like Kiora a lot.
>>
>>2294895
So... red diamond is a hint? Not sure what to do with that.
>>
>>2294895
Thanks for running, this is a very nice start so far. So is this like Incidents in that it's a "one season" quest as opposed to Ryukusa and Raiders?
>>
For the curious, the stone is about 17 carets, a little over a tenth of an ounce which is a huge gemstone.
>>
>>2294911
nice present.

Thanks for running!

Thanks for running

Yes, though it may be longer than Incidents.

>>2294905
Some basic fae etiquette for the curious:
Don't thank them - it's a mortal insult and duels to the death have been fought for less (kiora is not murderously inclined though).
It is polite to compliment a fae the first time you see them nude, unless they are hiding their nature with glamour.
Using glamour on other fae is insulting without permission.
Fae are sensual creatures, and it is not considered rude to stare or watch them regardless of how sensitive the situation is (in fact, it's insulting not to).
It is extraordinarily rude to remark on a fae's features in a manner that suggests they are not how they are supposed to look. An ugly fae expects to be called ugly; suggesting he's deformed will get you cursed or killed.
Fae do not lie, but they will bend the truth incredibly far.
Do not break your word to the fae - it will be BAD.
>>
>>2294918
Are Fae prone to encouraging situations where a person breaks their word so as to provide an excuse for the Fae to punish them, or do the Fae want and expect anyone they make a pact with to keep their word?
>>
>>2294920
Fae take promises and oaths incredibly seriously. While intrigue and politics might promote the idea that they could arrange a broken promise, it's offensive to them. more importantly, the wild Hunt can be called upon to hunt down and kill kinslayers, oathbreakers, and that includes fae as well as mortals, so they're not too keep ion breaking promises either. Unlike Changeling the Lost, the forces that punish arer usually rthe God and Goddess, or fate itself, and there is no arguing with them.

So, no, fae dfon't play around with promises or oaths very much. There are fates worse than mere death to immortals.

>>2294918
How did Caitrin avoid breaking some of the more serious rules of etiquette when she first met Kiora? Was she already well educated on matters of the supernatural?
>>
>>2294925
It's not terribly difficult to research in this continuity. Fae might be rare, but the etiquette and rules they live by are well documented. she started with basic research, and then performed one of the sacred rites she knows to call upon Kiora. Kiora is also patient with humans, and likes Caitrin, so she doesn't get dangerously offended if Cait makes mistakes.

She's a flirt as well, which helped Cait get over some of her more annoying hangups.
>>
>>2294922
Okay good, so we don't have to worry about any Disney's Little Mermaid type shenanigans. Though we might need to worry about the original Little Mermaid type debacles.
>>
>>2294934
I see, I didn't follow Incidents myself so I dunno much about the world.

>She's a flirt as well, which helped Cait get over some of her more annoying hangups.
Kiora too huh? Well that's fun! Perhaps Cait should research some anti-thirstiness spell for her supernatural pals, not that casting magic on them without consent seems like a good idea.
>>
>>2294943
Kiora flirting is distinctly different than Karen flirting. Karen is interested. Kiora is a flirt - most fae are, if you give them permission to do so. Fae, on the other hand, won't take it any further than they're allowed (except they will entice you to allow more, of course, if they can get away with it).

One of the things that makes our sweet witch unusual is that she sees through glamour, meaning most fae aren't going to be able to trick her into wanting to say yes to more. So while Kiora is a flirt, she doesn't limit her flirting to Caitrin.

She's also only six inches tall, which kind of puts some limitations in how far her flirting can go.
>>
>>2294980
Whoah, being able to see through glamour seems really useful. No wonder she handles a faerie friend so casually then.
>>
>>2294908

The stone might be an alchemical concept.

Or it might indicate that Karen is a Vouivre, or another being similar to Melusine.

The later possibility might be a stretch, because she offered to show herself naked, but she probably expected us to refuse anyway.

>>2294934

So, Caitrin is into sexy dangerous supernatural ladies?
>>
>>2294980
>She's also only six inches tall, which kind of puts some limitations in how far her flirting can go.
Splunking
>>
>>2295002
No, she likes tall athletic men.

Karen doesn't seem to care all that much. Kiora doesn't mind, she'll flirt with most things that have a pulse and intelligence.
>>
>>2295007
Remember that this is the same person who wouldn't bat an eye at carving out someone's eye for slapping her.
>>
>>2294980
>She's also only six inches tall, which kind of puts some limitations in how far her flirting can go.
And yet I'm reminded of a Borrowers-based yuri doujin I have saved.
>>
>>2295019
....pleading the Fifth.
>>
>>2295015
I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin.
>>
>>2295013
>No, she likes tall athletic men.

Disappointing.

Guess she'll never really allow any of the ladies to go beyond flirting.
>>
>>2295027
In her defense, Karen is creepy and Kiora is six inches tall, anon.
>>
So... what happend so far?
>>
>>2295056
Scroll up and see for yourself. It's the first thread, dude, if you need a summary already then maybe reading words just isn't for you.
>>
>>2295060
Or maybe, just maybe, I have a reason to ask this, rather than scrolling through past 100 posts.
Maybe it would be basic courtesy to summarise them when asked for that.
Maybe you are right - maybe this quest isn't for me.
But not because of content.
>>
>>2295068
>Please Spoonfeed me so I don't have to read 6 story posts!
>>
>>2295073
>Please summarise what's going on, because I'm in no condition to read it myself right now, thank you
More like this
Guess we are in the middle of derailing the game instead.
>>
>>2295073
Also, this is not /a/
>>
>>2295076
>>2295077
This is the kind of loser we now have to deal with on /qst/. I don't remember this kind of spoonfeeding demands on /tg/.
>>
>>2295056
>>2295068
>>2295076
The players met Karen, who is creepy and a little weird, and very much not human. Kiora is revealed to be a cute but quiet little pixie with a penchant for honey and being sexy as well as six inches tall. Caitra is invited dancing on friday and recieved a massive (like one inch across) perfectly cut gem from Karen, which appears to be a diamond of a particularly unusual type.

And Cait finished her homework.
>>
>>2295024
Can we play Cave Explorer?

>>2295013
Oh thank fuck.
>>
>>2295079
>I don't remember this kind of spoonfeeding demands on /tg/
Really? This is one of the things I remember most from /tg/.
>>
>>2295068
>ctrl+f OP's trip
>two thirds of your horrible burden vanish
>skip over short posts that clearly aren't story
>burden drops by a further four fifths
Maybe you do have a reason. Maybe that reason is that your attention span rivals that of a goldfish with a caffeine habit. If you don't have time to read now, leave the tab open for later. If you don't intend to read it properly at all, then frankly, fuck off.
>>
>>2295099
Honestly, it's easier just to click the ID, which highlights posts of that ID.
>>
>A game of let's guess the mythological being
If I had to guess from the info I've seen I'd say that the two likely supernatural being that could fit Karen are
>a Keres
>Ammit that one is a bit more of a stretch but seeing as Charon myth predate her yet she states that she influenced it, it's not as stupid as it sounds, especially since her "birth" is rather close to Ptolemaic Egypt
>>
>>2295044

Well of course she can like whoever she likes, it'd be rather hypocritical of me to criticize her for it.

It's just than the sexy creepy ladies you write are amazing.

>and Kiora is six inches tall

Not that much of an issue, even if it does require precautions.

Akko and Yzia would have a few more troubles making love in their respective true forms. Though they have far more tools to help with that.

>>2295107

Pretty nice guesses.

On that note, Karen mentioned ghouls, who were originally middle-eastern. We might have to look in that direction. Maybe also at Turkish myths.
>>
>>2295105
Yeah, but that still leaves scary scrolling.
Also I use the Tomorrow theme so I forgot post highlighting was even a thing.
>>
>>2295081
Thanks a bunch.
>>
Ah man I passed out before the end last night, thanks for running XS.

Big heaving booms when?

Also, I saw the new Godzilla thing on netflix them making godzilla a giant rock monster was weird, but overall I enjoyed it, even if godzilla being the harbinger of destruction isn't really my cup of tea.
>>
>>2295107
Keres seems like a good choice to me. My best guess was Happy, because they're part vulture and Karen sounds a lot like a scavenger to me, but Keres fits even better.
Like that diamond might be because in Greek mythology, wealth and the dead are connected because both are tied to the underground/underworld.
>>
>>2295596
She could be a fury maybe? Although they like torture. The bdsm and leather jab at her could be a hint
>>
Dieded
>>
>>2310147
Nope. Continues tomorrow at midnight. Probably in a new thread though.
