Lucas took chances. A few paid off, a few didn't, but overall, a success! People like Lucas, are scared of Mehen, and all is right in the world!

TODAY

Lucas deals with his, uh, extracurricular activities.
>>
You pile on your second plate of breakfast and retake your seat at the table. You can’t help yourself, the increase in your activity and the stresses of being a conduit for Ekko’s power is driving your appetite haywire. At least, that’s what the kwami had said when your stomach started growling during a very pointed discussion about why, exactly, he hadn’t brought up the fact you could summon a weapon. ”I was under the impression that you would disapprove of a knife on a rope, given your intentions,” your big, tailless backside…

“You eating for two, son?” Dad asks with a smirk. You swallow your mouthful, wipe your lips, and retort, “Maybe I’m hitting a growth spurt.” He leans back, suddenly solemn and sighs, “God, I hope not… Marcus is bad enough, I’ll never be able to leave the house again if my youngest ends up taller than me.”

“Where is Marcus, anyway?” You had heard your brother stomping around earlier, but by the time you had gotten up, he was already gone.

“He’s going to a meeting, some kinda club,” Dad shrugs. “They told the new members to be at school early to introduce themselves.” He hadn’t said anything to you about it, though you suppose he didn’t need to. You wonder what sort of club it is…

“You know, extracurricular stuff is pretty fun if you care to give it a shot.” Dad’s tone is innocent, but his intentions are anything but. “Good places to meet new friends,” he adds.

“I can’t make friends in class?” you ask, with a slight whine in your voice.

“Sure you can, then you can hang out with them at a club, or on a team, or something after school. I’m not saying you should, just giving you something to think about. Kids shouldn’t spend their time locked up in the same four walls all day.” With his sage advice given, Dad turns off from the conversation and focuses solely on the rest of his breakfast.

Sword-fighting in the modern day isn’t very practical, but then again, most sports aren’t. You’ve never seen someone need to kick a ball around off of a football field, either. You’d swing by during their next practice and talk to the instructor about joining. In the meantime, you had another day of class to get through. The weather outside is cloudy and cold, and it makes you shiver. Becoming Mehen MUST help you keep your cool in stressful situations because right now, the idea of being flung around up there by an akuma makes you feel like your being carried to your grave.

The walk there is just as cold as the street outside of your house, but the school itself is pleasantly warm, once you remove your heavier jacket. You’re glad Ekko chose to hide in your bag today. The usual classmates funnel in, with the few you’d personally spoken to giving you an acknowledging wave or smile. The class settles in for another lecture, and you do your best to pay attention.

------

At the end of Miss Bustier’s class, you toss on your bag and step forward in a daze. You think you managed to keep focused, but pay rapt attention for so long always makes your head swim when you finish, especially when you’re not really interested in what you’re looking at. You bump into Ivan, who gently guides you back into a straight path and waves off your apology. As you turn your head to give him a wave, you wander into yet another person. This one is followed by the clatter of books on the ground and a high-pitched noise of offense.

“Watch where you’re going, you greasy nerd!” a nasal voice screeches at you. Platinum blonde hair blinds you for a moment, and just beneath that, the false-tan-yet-still-pale face of Chloé Bourgeois. The mayor’s daughter. You had seen her snark and spit at almost every other student in the class but had managed to stay under her radar thus far. Looks like your luck has finally run out.

The red-headed girl you ran into, Sabrina your brain supplies, is on the ground desperately gathering the books she’s dropped. She shoots you a look over her shoulders, blank for a moment, but it morphs into one of disgust that mimics Chloé.

“I swear, if ANYTHING is so much as SCRATCHED, you’ll be buying my replacements!” Chloé continues. The part of your mind not dedicated to pretending this isn’t happening in front of the entire class draws out a memory. Chloé had seemed visibly irritated all morning in class, she did sit directly in front of you, but had yet to so much as look at anyone else. You must be getting the brunt of a bad morning.

“Hey, lay off him, Chloé, it was an accident.” Ivan’s quiet, rumbling voice draws up behind you. Suddenly, all the fury drains from her expression, and Chloé looks between the two of you with a far too pleased expression. “Oh, I get it. I was wondering what your deal was,” she purrs, pointing a finger at you. “I thought you were just a creep, but I guess that smell was from all the gunk you must crawl around in looking for monsters to hang out with,” she finishes, easily rolling her taunting gaze to Ivan. You can almost feel him tense at the jab.

>A) If she wants to start something in front of everyone, then let’s start something! “I don’t have to take this from the ‘Porcelain Doll of Paris.’ Did you have to pay extra, or is your face naturally that plastic looking?”

You had to do something, but starting a confrontation in school was a bad idea. You turn around and motion Ivan towards the stairs. “Let’s get out of here,” you tell him, your voice quiet. Ivan’s face is red, but he nods without speaking and stomps away, much faster than you thought he would. You hurry after him, but he stomps into the bathroom. You aren’t sure it’s appropriate to follow anyone in there, so you adjust your bag and move towards your study hall.

You almost reach the library before you’re stopped by a small hand on your shoulder. You turn around and discover the hand's owner to be Marinette, visibly concerned. “Are you alright?” she asks you. You give her a shrug before you answer.

“Sure, I guess. It’s just words, right?” You can’t afford to get hung up on something someone says, not when you’re a superhero. Marinette purses her lips at that but seems to accept it. “I guess, but words can hurt, too. If you need to talk about anything, I’m available, okay?” You’re a little weirded out by how sincere the offer is. Sure, what Chloé said was bad, but it wasn’t bad enough to warrant an intervention.

“Well, thanks,” you finally say with a smile. If she wanted to be nice, no reason to discourage her. You both push your way into the library, and instead of studying, you end up chatting with her. At first it’s just to show her you really are fine, since she seemed so worried, but eventually, the lack of material to go over (thanks to being so early in the school year) and genuine interest draws you away from the introductory chapter of your book.

“This year has already been crazy,” Marinette is saying. “It feels like I woke up on the first day of school and we’ve all been in Wonderland ever since.”

“We’ve had superheroes before,” you point out. “Well, not here, but they were around.”
“Yeah,” she sighs resting her head on one hand. She seems far away and bothered by something. She was nice enough to offer help earlier… Maybe you should repay the favor.

“Hey, are you joining any clubs or anything?” Marinette hums at the question and doesn’t answer. Maybe you switched gears too quickly. “My dad wants me to start looking…” you explain, suddenly sheepish.

“I hadn’t really thought about it,” she confesses, “but I could suggest stuff if you want?” You shrug at the offer. “I was thinking about Fencing, actually.” Marinette gives you a small, embarrassed smile and says, “That’s what I was going to suggest.” She seems to think for a moment, then offers, “They’re supposed to be practicing after school if you want to stop by and try out.”

“‘Try out’?” you echo.

“Yeah, Mr. D’Argencourt is very serious about keeping the class competitive. He still teaches beginners, though, so you shouldn’t be worried about failing or anything.” You’re worried about failing or something. You can’t help it, the idea that you could actually put in the effort and still get nothing, or worse, exposed as an amateur and a failure by a teacher in front of the people you want to join. It’s like a waking nightmare. You’re about to tell her to forget it, but she interrupts you before you can.

“I could go with you. For support?” You must've let your nerves show...

>A) You’ve said you wanted to try it… Even if you aren’t good enough, you’ll not do yourself any favors by not trying. “Sure, we’ll meet there after school.”
>B) Forget it, you aren’t about to embarrass yourself. “Don’t worry about it, Marinette.”

You can admit it to yourself: You’re nervous. You had no idea that the recruitment process was essentially “Walk up to the teacher and ask.” You had almost hoped for an immediate rejection, at least then you wouldn’t be able to mess it up, but Mr. D’Argencourt said he needed to fill up the “roster,” and only one other person had joined this year. “I will pair you up with him, you will test yourself against him, and we shall see where your instruction will begin.” You were basically already accepted, you tell yourself. So why won’t your hand stop shaking the sword your holding?

You and your opponent face each other, mirroring each other's stance. You can’t help but feel yours is a bit awkward in comparison to his, but Mr. D’Argencourt is happy enough with your form to let it go without comment.

“En garde! Prêt, allez!”

You lunge before you can process his words, then say a quick, thankful prayer that he hadn’t said “Wait, I gave you real swords,” or something. Your thrust is parried, but you surprise yourself when you take a step back and parry the counter-attack. So surprised, in fact, that you’re too slow to stop the next attack and you feel a dull poke in your chest through the padding.

“Touche! Point.” Mr. D’Argencourt indicates your opponent, and you both relax. “We’ll give it one more round,” he tells you, before snapping back to an official countenance. “En garde!”

The second round goes a little better for you. You manage to attack him twice as much before he taps you, but that’s still only two times. You hurry off of the strip, which you’ve been informed is called a piste, and towards the locker room. Once you’ve changed, you step outside and run nearly face-first into Mr. D’Argencourt.

“Lucas, yes? You were quite adamant that you had never fenced before, but I wonder: Have you taken lessons in any form of martial art?”

“Uh, no sir,” you tell him, truthfully. You had never learned how to fight, formally or otherwise. What you did as Mehen didn’t count, you think. You acted more because your body told you to, rather than relying on practiced motions. Even if it did count, you certainly weren’t going to tell him that.

“Hmm. Well, it doesn’t matter. You have good instincts. We’ll work on your technique next week.” He inclines his head towards you, then stiffly marches away.

“I think you made it in,” Marinette comments from behind you. You turn around and shrug at her, smiling in spite of yourself. “Yeah, I guess I did.”

“Good match,” another voice sounds from the direction you had just been facing, and you spin again to face it. A familiar face is grinning back at you. It’s impossible to misidentify him. Adrien Agreste is plastered all over Paris.

“Y-you too.” You aren't even particularly star-struck. What do you care about a male model you see every day? You’re just caught off guard he’s talking to you.

“Well, I think we know each other’s names, but we’ve never been introduced,” he says, before sticking a hand out for you to shake. “I’m Adrien.”

“Lucas,” you reply, happy not to have stuttered again.

“Nice to meet you. I’m looking forward to our next match, after Mr. D’Argencourt has a chance to give you a few pointers. I feel like I’m already a lot better after only a week!” Adrien exclaims. Getting up there and doing it was nerve-wracking, but now that it’s over, you’re surprised to find yourself agreeing with Adrien’s eagerness.

“Sure you’re so ready for me to even up the score?” you ask, surprising yourself once again with the cocky taunt. Adrien doesn’t miss a beat. “Well, if matching me is the best you can do, I suppose we’ll have to settle for an even score.” Before you even realize it, you and Adrien are grinning at each other. You think you’re going to like fencing.

Just a heads up for fans of the show: The recent reveal of the Miraculouses in Master Fu's possession seriously fuck with this quest, so I'm applying a general rule: Anything shown to be canon that I've already contridicted in quest will remain contridicted and will not be changed to closer resemble canon.

What that means for now if that Master Fu only has (or should have) the 7 "original" Miraculouses in this quest, though I fully expect other issues like this to pop up.
>>
>>2251287
Master Fu is the one survivor of the only known temple of the order of guardians but there's no reason our miraculous didn't come from another order, temple or survivor or something else entirely.

Anyhow, to answer your heads up, what you are saying here is perfectly acceptable. It's kinda expected that quests will drift away from their origin material as time goes on.

You’re sitting on the couch with Marcus when you see it. The rain outside is backlit by a strong, yellowish light which draws your attention away from the news. The gently rolling black clouds have been split like an ocean by a wedge of light, and projected against the cloud cover is a circle with five dots, arranged like the five on a die.

The dots slide up the circle, and a very crude line appears in their place. It appears to be a snake, though it is oddly… Angular. The only thing that distinguishes it from a lightning bolt is a small forked tongue on one end. That, too, slides away, and in lieu of a new signal, whoever is in charge of the light show simply makes a bunny with their hand and holds it in front of the light source.

The process repeats twice, giving Marcus a chance to see it and contain a giggle-snort. “Duty calls, little Luke,” he says with a grin. You don’t bother hiding your rolling eyes from him as you call for Ekko. A few moments later, you’re clinging to the tiles of your roof, sniffling in the cold and trying your best not to shiver. You have to protect your eyes from the rain as you look up at the symbol, trying and failing to recall trigonometry lessons that would help you figure out where the source was. The process wasn’t helped by the moving cloud cover changing the projection’s angle.

You run towards the vague direction you think the signal is coming from and eventually find the beam of light to trace. It takes you back to the stadium where you first met Ladybug and Chat. You find the latter standing near the entrance, soaking wet and with a cardboard snake under his arm. He’s managed to angle one of the biggest lights you’ve ever seen into the sky and turn it on.

“You made a signal?” you ask, and Chat jumps with a yelp. “MEHEN! Man, don’t sneak up on me like that!” he warns you, a hand clutching at his heart.

“Sorry,” you say. You hadn’t meant to surprise him. “Why did you make a signal?” you ask again, finally getting a response.

“Well, it works for Batman, right? Aaand it looks like it worked for you,” he points out, smug confidence radiating from his smirk.

>A) Well, he’s not wrong. “Alright, it’s a pretty good idea. We do need some way to talk when a supervillain isn't attacking.”
>B) This was a really bad idea. “Batman has an entire police force making sure his meeting point is safe. We’re in a parking lot armed with nothing but a cardboard snake.”

You could see the merit. “We do need a way to keep in touch outside of a supervillain attack,” you admit, and you wait for Chat to start beaming before you finish, “but ripping off a fake superhero is really lame.” He brushes off your criticism with a shrug.

“If you can convince the girls to give us their numbers, I’m all for giving up on the signal idea,” he says with another grin.

“Have you tried asking us?” a voice chimes in, startling Chat once again. Lapine strolls towards the two of you from the stadium, completely ignoring Chat’s muttered “How long have you been there?” in favor of giving you a polite wave, which you return with a small nod. “At least you have a hood,” she complains while rubbing her arms, “Chat, couldn’t you have done this yesterday? It was just as cloudy last night.”

“No it wasn’t,” he argues, “I did try it last night. The signal wasn’t bright enough.” The two of them begin to bicker about exactly how cloudy should be “cloudy enough,” and Lapine begins to list out several less rainy days in the past week he could’ve tried. You begin to tune them out. The rain doesn’t bother you, beyond how cold it is, so you let the sound of water fill your ears instead while you wait for Chat to mention why he brought you out. You let your eyes close and pretend that you’re somewhere warmer.

“You’d better have a good reason to drag me out this late, Chat Noir,” Ladybug’s voice catches your attention, and you open your eyes to see her standing between you and the others. Looks like the “meeting” can get started. You move in closer to hear better and, hopefully, chase the cold away.

“I do!” he insists, hand over his heart again. He seems to be swearing, this time. “We have a lot to cover, actually, if we’re going to be a team.” Ladybug crosses her arms and shivers.

“Well, Mehen better show up soon. I don’t want us all to get sick out here.”

“I’m already here,” you point out. How did your teammates keep missing you? It’s not as though you’re hiding. Ladybug stiffens, then slowly looks over her shoulder at you. “Oh,” she breathes with a slight shiver, “Hello.”

“Right, everyone’s here!” Chat claps, ending the awkward pause before it can begin. “So, what I was thinking was we set up a patrol schedule! That way, we can keep people safe regularly instead of just, you know, ‘whenever we’re free to do it.’” That didn’t sound half bad, actually. It’d save you from having to cancel appointments, except in emergencies, since you’d know when you’d need to be free perhaps weeks ahead of time. You wonder if this idea was born from your last talk with Chat? He had seemed bothered by your less rigidly scheduled all-day patrols.

The four find shelter in one of the stadium’s entrances before you lay out schedules, kept vague enough (at Ladybug’s insistence) to protect your identities. It takes some quick math, but eventually, a schedule is set so that not only will Paris be reasonably well-looked after, but also allow for two people to partner up and patrol together. You commit your schedule to memory. It looks like you’ll be with, in order:

“Looks like it’s you and me, Lapine,” you say. Ladybug seems to fidget as you say it. She must be restless. You don’t really want to be here, either, but Chat is right; You needed to have this discussion at some point. Lapine smiles in a way that didn’t feel friendly before she clears her expression to a blank stare.

“Of course, Mehen, whatever you say,” she monotones. You narrow your eyes at her. Is she playing a prank on you or something? You don’t get the joke. Does she not want to patrol together or something?

“H-okay!” Ladybug interjects with a wide smile, “I think we’re done! Good talk, team, let’s get out there and-”

“Wait!” Chat shouts, “We haven’t even gone over the most important part!” Ladybug raises an eyebrow at the interruption, but doesn’t stop him from continuing, “If we’re gonna be a team, we need a team name!” Lapine groans at the idea.

“The Bat signal was one thing, Chat, but a team name is really… Dorky,” the rabbit explains. Ladybug seems hesitant, but eventually, she voices her disagreement. “It would present a more… United front.” Chat waits for a few seconds to see if the girls have anything else to add before focusing on you.

“What do you think, Mehen?”

>A) Well, if he wants your input... “How about… Menagerie?”

A suggestion for Chat's "Miraculous Signal"
>>
>>2258197
“‘Chevaliers’?” Lapine echoes, her lips curling around the word. Chat, on the other hand, seems enamored. “That’s great!” he exclaims, “We even match the Knights from King Arthur stories! White, Black, Green, and Red!”

“They’re British…” Lapine points out with a pout, but the protest is weaker than before. “And I’m pretty sure they were all guys,” Ladybug adds, “but I like the idea.”

“That’s three to one, Chevaliers wins!” Chat shouts with two fists in the air. Lapine rolls her eyes but doesn’t protest any further. “Sure, woo-hoo…” she gripes, “Are we done now?” The four of you look at each other, but no one has anything else to propose. With a shrug and a salute, Lapine steps back out into the rain.

Chat and Ladybug quietly chat about their own patrol tomorrow, leaving you with nothing to do but head home. You doubt any criminals, super or otherwise, are going to be out in this torrent. You briefly wonder if Stormcaller is responsible, but discard the idea when you don’t hear any laughter or declarations of new identities.

In spite of your doubts, you take your time working your way back to your house. Always better to be sure, you remind yourself. It’s lucky you did, as you hear a bang followed by muffled cursing. You move towards the noise and perch yourself on a rooftop to take in the scene. Two men, one fit and another lean, are trying to pry open a parked car with a crowbar. They don’t seem to be having much luck, as one is scratching his forehead and the other is holding his nose as if it were injured. It isn’t exactly the high-caliber stuff you’ve been dealing with, but you’ve got time to spare.

>A) You told yourself you’d scare criminals. Time to live up to that promise and have a little fun with them.
>B) They’re just carjackers. Knock them out, call the police, and get out of this rain already.
>C) Forget this. You’re cold, you’re wet, you’re tired, and they’re too stupid to get into the car. Leave them to get tired and give up.

This is the first time you’ve ever been a hero and certain your opponents had no chance. You might as well enjoy it. You run your hand over the roof you’ve perched on until you feel a small pebble. Once you’ve got it, you fling it towards the street lamp at the opposite side of the street. The pebble clangs off of the pole, and your two newest arrestees turn towards the din. As they peer into the dark curtain of rain, you crawl down the side of the building to ground level.

------

You are Pierre, and you are not very rich. You lift boxes in warehouses for a living, in spite of your wiry frame, because you’re still good at knowing where to put them fast. Its honest work, but it’s boring and doesn’t pay well. So sometimes you and your friend Albert, the man who does most of the lifting to where you say, do something more exciting. You pick people’s pockets on the Metro or take people’s mail. You open up the boxes in the warehouses, and you keep things that you like. You occasionally drive for a few hours to Brussels and do work for big men in suits. That pays much better, but they don’t like having you around, so you go home when they tell you to.

Tonight, you and Albert decided to take something a little different. You’re both tired of riding trains, so you decide to take a car. That way you can drive to work instead. Even with Albert’s muscles, though, it’s hard to pry your way into the car. Albert even elbows you in the nose at one point, and you want to hit him, but he’s bigger, so you don’t and tell him it’s fine. Then something strange happens. The light behind the two of you makes a noise like someone hit it with a bat, but when you turn, there’s no one there.

“H-hello?” Albert stutters. No one answers. You look up and down the street, and you tense your muscles. You’re starting to see shadows between the raindrops, like when you were a little boy and the toys in your room turned to monsters on your walls. “Let’s forget it,” you tell Albert, doing a much better job of keeping the tremor out of your voice. “Get back to popping the door.”

Albert hesitates for a moment and casts one last glance around the street, but eventually turns around. Or at least, he tries to. He takes a step to turn and grunts as his foot catches. He looks down and bends over to get a better look at what’s caught him.

“Pierre?” he says, “What are car hoses made of?”

“Rubber, mostly,” you answer.

(CONTINUED)
>>
>>2258712
“Oh. Well, I think someone dropped their-” Albert is cut off when his foot is pulled out from under him and his jaw slams into the concrete. Before you can shout for him, something begins to pull him under the car.

“Pierre!” he screams, clawing at the ground with one hand and reaching for you with the other. You grab him by the wrist and pull, but whatever’s got him has him good. The car lifts off its suspension, just enough to fit him when Albert is torn from your grasp and under the car. You see his face disappear into the darkness, then the car slams back into the ground. You can’t hear Albert screaming anymore. Everything’s quiet again.

“A-Al?” you call, hating your stutter. There’s no response. You take small, quivering steps around the front of the car, making sure to stay as far from it as you can. You peer around the far side. Your friend isn’t there. You swallow a lump in your throat, then force yourself to fish a flashlight from your coat and look under the car. There’s nothing. Nothing but an ordinary car, the patter of the rain, and you. You push yourself back up, and look up at the roof of the car. A figure is kneeling there, propping itself up on one knee and a hand. Something… Inhuman is flowing behind it, a fifth limb you don’t recognize as being from a human. A deep, black hood covers its face, and all you can see are two golden, hateful eyes peering from the darkness. It finally clicks, and you understand what, or, more accurately, who you’re dealing with.

“Mehen…” you whisper, and then it lunges at you.

>>2258715
You can’t help but give yourself a small pat on the back. Two would-be carjackers have been safely rendered unconscious, and thus harmless, and the police took them in without fuss. You did catch a few odd looks and mumbles, but the officer you personally spoke with was very polite and made sure to have your full account before they left. Perks of being a hero, you suppose: You never had your story questioned.

You pull yourself into your window, unlocked courtesy of Marcus, and detransform. Almost instantly, Ekko flies into your face and grins.

“An excellent display, Lucas!” He even gives you a small round of applause.

“Thanks, Ekko,” you accept, suddenly bashful. He had told you scare tactics would work, but you didn’t expect you’d be that good at it. You wave off his congratulations and distract him with a cup of instant noodles, again, courtesy of Marcus. You really need to do something to repay him for helping so much with Ekko and the whole “superhero” thing.

You kick off your shoes, and you’re about to lay down when something snags in your mind.

>A) You had a decent idea of who your partners - sorry, fellow Chevaliers - were, but you had no idea what THEIR kwamis were like. Without them, none of this would be possible. Maybe Ekko would know something about them?
>B) You hadn’t had a good social hang out in a few days. Marcus will start nagging soon if you don’t get out of the house without turning into Mehen first. Maybe you should plan something out for Lucas to do tomorrow.

Still tied, since a changed vote technically = 2. So, I guess I'll come up with a hybrid option for when next we run (Thank God they're friends in the show), but for now, that's it! Hope you guys enjoyed tonight.

>B) Marinette's been really nice to you, for some reason. It's not a bad idea to pay her back for it. You should ask if she needs help with anything

>F) You and Marcus haven't done much since you arrived. You could follow him around for a bit and check out the city with your brother.

>E) It's out there, and you mean REALLY out there, but... Maybe you could try and patch things up with Chloé?

Also, can anyone post that semi reference pic of Ekko? Images aren't loading for me on suptg.

Here's the Dog, but unfortunately, I came up with the rest without references, so no more pics of them.

Here are the rest of the zodiac Kwamis from Zag. Not saying Brother will use them, just showing them to people who don’t know.

Heres an idea for a kwami:

The komodo dragon, named Sabar (means patient in Indonesian)

Appearence of the user is a brown hoodie, with long sleeves, also with scales like Luke. The hood extends forwards, and leaves the face shrouded. The ends of the hood roll inwards - towards the face, behind the rolls small sharp teeth protrude.

Along the spine of the hoodie, there is a scrap of cloth that extends to the knees. Sewn into that cloth is metal, to simulate the strength that the komodos tail can exert. The user also has complete control over the tail.

The word of the kwami is 'infestation', his power is to mark a target while physically debilitating it.

When the command word is said, a liquid starts to seep from the hood and dribbles down, like the hood is drooling.

The liquid behaves like corn starch in water, it is a non-newtonion fluid. It also causes anything it touches to steam- but does not do any lasting harm.

When the liquid touches a person, nothing seems to happen, however over the course of an hour, the person will suffer increasing fatigue, stress, dizziness and starts to act irrationally. The user can adjust how potent the effect is, when the effect is stronger it is slower to build up but lasts for much longer. The user cannot stop the effect when it starts, and can be dangerous to allies

In addition the user is able to detect the position of the effected, no matter what.

Fun quest to read. Don't know much about the source material but it sounds like a good time.
