/qst/ - Quests

>>2225519

You are Captain Alex, Proxima Aquarii Federation, 4th Fringe Machine Infantry. When heading to a routine exercise, you and your mech ended up somewhere other than outside the backwater base on a polluted world you called home.

Now you're stuck in a world that's verdant, green, and full of life, where people use 'magic' and gods rule. You were pretty sure it was a sophisticated LARPer's personal planet, but Mirna, from the Apha Centauri Conglomerate has stated otherwise.

You are an ace pilot, the elite of mech operators, and you pilot the Newt, a durable and quick military mech. You can't seem to use up your ammo. You have three crewmates, Hilda, a convicted witch, and Seirye, an elven mechanic who has spent her life without free will, and Fleet Admrial Haller, a legendary military figure of the Federation's past from the Core Worlds.

Through some twist of fate, you are currently a hivemind with a version of yourself that appears normal. You have recently tricked a giant space nazi mech to do battle with the iceworm queen, and now are in between the new matriarch, a monstergirl, and two prisoners.

"Could you wait a while, er..." You stall at the iceworm's name."

"My mozher vas Shilazh, zo zhall I be." Apparently she is Shilath the second. One of the prisoners lets out a cry.

You decide now is as good a time as ever to practice control. You stride up with your smaller body, flashing a childish smile, "So... You guys tried to kill me and my friends, so..."

You glance to Haller in his mech with your adult body.

"They attacked and killed unarmed crew on the Iowa and god knows what else. These fellows are terrorists. I don't care what you do to these scum." His voice is cold, "They'd kill us in their position, I'd bet."

"Right..." You make a show of nodding to your smaller body, "carry on."

"As I was saying, we got a few choices going. Spill the beans, or we turn you over to the new queen, who I'm sure can use more subjects."

"I certainly can!" Shilath II nods from her fanged perch.

Absolutely this.

NO "Yandere loli" BS. Just put them in a jail or something for now and then interrogate them with the body that doesn't stans a good chance of being over-powered

Remember the Alley Witch? Let's not be dumb.

Following Federation guidelines, you separate them out of sight of each other, then draw your survival knife. The pilot, the more resolute of the two remaining, is your first choice.

"I have a variety of things I can do to you~" you state in singsong as you grin, "So, first things first, why are you here?"

"I'm not taliking. And you won't turn me into one of those things." The pilot growls.

"You don't have a choice," You slide the knife up to his neck, "I wonder, does this 40th Reich of yours give you counter-interrogation training?"

The man is sweating as your knife bites into his neck,

"Nnngh..." The reply from him is partly a sound of pain and one of resistance.

"You see, as far as we're concerned, us military types, you lost your rights to fair treatment the moment one of your mechs tried to mug us. Surrender our weapons and lives? Sounds like a highwayman. You had no knowledge of who we were, and you attacked us, and that ship."

"Enemies of the Reich. I'll see you burn in the chambers, witch."

"Oh, you aren't going to see anything if you don't tell me what you know."

"Never." He spits. You shrug, giving a cheerful grin and stab him. He howls in agony.

"Ready to talk?"

"I will na-aahAAH!" His denial is cut short while you twist the blade.

"You see, We'd take prisoners, but we don't have any way to transport them."

"I... won't... Yield... scum!" The pilot screams. This is getting nowhere.

Dude, you should have said something when the Loli was made. Just stick around till we get ahold of the god that made this universe. TF loving bitch needs to die slow. Besides our proper body is back. Making a joke out of the hivemind thing is fine.
>>
>>2246599
Speaking of hivemind thing, we never did find out how far we can seperate our bodies yet iirc. And whether if we can anf if it has any effects. We should really get to it.
>>
>>2246680
If I had to guess, I would say that both bodies would fall unconscious due to the hive mind link being severed.

Otherwise, we'd probably have two instances of the MC when they're far enough away and fusing memories after being separated for an extended amount of time might be jarring.

"Alright, I see you don't like talking, so how about this? I'll let you choose. I can remove your dick, or let the monstergirl up there do it." You smile, pulling your knife from the pilot.

"Guh... You wouldn't..."

"Oh, I fucking will. This world has given me shit since I came here. How many of you bastards are planetside?"

"More than enough to deal with you!" The man retorts, "We've weapons that can crush your pitiful machines."

You frown, flicking blood off the knife, "So... what do you know of Mera?" You move your knife along one leg.

"Th-the goddess? She summoned us years ago to purify this planet of degeneracy! And you are spreading it, making abominations like her."

Shilath II gasps, "I am an abominazion?"

"No, no, calm down..." You state to the giant worm girl in your adult body.

"...What DO you know of this place?"

"Tch, I would never tell. Do what you will. To tell is to betray the Reich."

You shrug, "Alright. Shilath, he's alllll yours." You wave farewell to the doomed nazi and proceed to the next one as the monstergirl descends on the prisoner. What occurs you'll find out later.

"So... Your friend talked, but not enough. How about you?"

No, no, I like your quest. That's why I said I'd come back later. The players deserve the suffering choices like this get them. Like how we became a loli in the first place.

Just this part is painfully "I'm 13 on a saturday night alone" edgelord.

>>2246599
Dude, you made a deal with an alley witch. This torture loli is just being a retarded comic book villain again.

I mean. We could have pretended to be a kid captured by "The Bad Guys". Or even a messenger from Mera.

As you can see as well, it's not working super great on fanatics. We aren't breaking them down, and now the last guy knows the only reason he is alive is because we might need him (assuming he wouldn't rather choose death instead).

I mean. I feel like they vet their "Hey can you run this God Machine? Cool" crews pretty well.

And having "Muh Loli" do the torture, in magical fantasy land? Just one fucked up thing among MANY. Nobody thought it might be overshadowed by the Anthropomorphized Sand Worm that used to be their buddy? It's cartoonish.
>>
>>2247834
>>2247511

This at least has a chance of working.

Man. I hope nobody with like say magic or godly powers is recording this to show to that hero we were hoping to interact with because I'm pretty sure we actually are the bad guy now.
>>
>>2247840
We could also use the corruption magic on them I think, doesn't it transform someone into a demon servant after X uses?
>>2247772
Would this make them lose their memories?
>>
>>2247851
no, corruption magic doesn't cause a lose of memory until the third casting.
>>
>>2247883
Then, I support casting corruption on him once as well.
>>
>>2247891
It seems that its amplifies the target current feelings, we should make him scared first, and then cast it on him.

I also kind of want to test what continuos use of corruption causes to the target, but I also don't want to be seen as "that guy who the corruption god likes."

"So, I was thinking, you might be willing to take the 'stay alive option. All I need is some simple information... Otherwise, you know, I might just cut you instead. Was thinking your manhood would be a good start."

"Wh-what?!"

"How many of you guys are there?"

"A-a field army!" The Comms officer spills, clearly afraid of the knife. "That's all I know!"

"I'm not so sure..." You flick the knife side to side in your hand, "How about Mera? What do you know of her?"

"Nothing-NOTHING! Th-the pilot would know!" Your blade moves closer, "Please no, I told you..."

"...What do you know of this place? This world?"

"I-it's not where we came from? Please, I haven't left the region until now!" You hover the blade over the comms soldier's crotch, "That's all I know!"

"How many mechs do you have like that one?"

The prisoner sweats, "n-none." A lie, but you expected as much.

"Well then, you are free to go." You reply cheerfully.

"R-really?"

"Yes, thank you. Here." You place some cooked, regular worm meat before them and untie them, jumping back out of their arm's range, "Have some of our rations before you go, you must be starving."

"This is... not from the meat you gave the other?"

"Of course not." The truth was it was just ground up into paste and made into a burger patty, while the other was more a steak.

The man takes a bite, swallowing, "Ah, it's go- ack!" He coughs.

"Yes, it was... regular worm meat you just swallowed." You smiled as the officer stared in disbelief at their warping form, which was rapidly taking female proportions, including a generous bosom.

"You witch! You said I could go free!" The monstrous tail of an iceworm rips through the clothing, cementing a fate as another monstergirl.

"Noooo... I said you could LIVE. Key difference. You didn't think I'd let you keep your memory, did you?" You respond, your yandere facade giving way to cold professionalism. Acting that way was honestly exhausting, and a lot of work. You turn away from the changing figure and stride back to the newt, Hilda staring at you in awe.

"What are you, Alex? How can you do that sort of thing?"

"I'm a soldier, Hilda, not an adventurer. And those men? Those were monsters. You don't know what they're capable of." With that, you plop into the scanner suite of the mech as the loli.

"Shilath, by any chance can we have safe passage?"

"Ov course! You vere zhe one to revive my species anew! I am qwvite grateful! You're velcome here!"

"Splendid... Actually, that destroyed vehicle... can you bring it to the edge of the glacier?"

"Zhe little vun? Ov course. I vill move it sviftly." You don't ask her where the previous prisoner went. She wipes a bit of red off her lips and flashes you a sharp-toothed grin. As you climb into the mech, you see her barking orders to the monstergirl you just created, both trying to move Mirna's mech.

Haller's voice crackles, "With all do respect, captain, we've got a colony to investigate. That sorta heavy firepower must be guarding something important."

Try to talk to Halley about what he is planning to do after we deal with whatever is waiting for us there.
And tell Hilda about how monstruos this guys were and why we'd do this sort of thing with them, try to convince her that we are no monster and that we don't have many people to count on and doesn't want her doubting our heart.

>>
>>2247836
No, you're totally right. Much better to play a quest where you're a masculine ideal power fantasy space pirate king who gets all the women because he's just that charming, wins all the fights because he's just that skilled, beats mechs with his bare hands because he's just that awesome and gets away with any cuh-razy! action he takes because despite his posturing to the contrary the QM hasn't ever actually severely punished the players for making stupid decisions and would rather encourage idiotic behaviour by rewarding it than impose any kind of significant consequence for their actions.

And I like that quest too! Have a little perspective is all I'm saying.

You push towards the colony once more. The fog, again, is thick, hiding whatever can be lurking out there.

Seirye has some hesitation to confront you on your behavior on the glacier. She says she's not sure it's her place to say.

Hilda, on the other hand, is more restless. She has misgivings towards your actions. You aren't sure if it's a good idea to tell her why you did what you did or not. Compared to the wars and experiences of your universe, this world is naive. And considering your encounter, there is a very real threat of a repeated history.

There is a droning hum as twin searchlights sweep through the fog. Hanging in low orbit, a huge dark-colored battlecruiser patrols. It has some pretty powerful guns on it, but the atmospheric thrusters kill its speed and maneuverability. Regardless, it's a threat comparable to the colossus.

Like the last one, you could possibly rush past it towards the colony.

Have the Blyat keep distance from it but still be in sight range of us.
Have Haller go around it to attack its engines.
Cast protection on our mech and shoot everything at them, aiming for the lights or guns if possible.
Then, when it turns its attention to us, have Haller hits their engines with everything he got.

We bring it down and then outrun them.

You lay out a plan. Seirye's mech's range is woefully short, so she is to keep distance. Haller will circle around, targeting the engines.

And you will fire everything you have. Haller will do the same to the engines. Then the Blyat will spray lava.

It's a good plan, and you have the initiative. With luck, you can cripple the warship before it can strike.

Your cruise missiles impact the ship, catching it by surprise, one of the atmos thrusters bursting apart. The whole ship tilts before the other breaks apart from another missile. To add insult to injury, the railgun lances through a turret...

But that's not all.

Hallr opens fire with his own arsenal. You watch as the engines sputter and die, leeping the ship from pulling out of the nose dive it's caught in. The ship crashes into the shallow sea, creating a tremendous splash of sand and water The machine is not getting up, but then Seirye pours lava on it just to be sure. You're certain she just covered up the entrances of the ship.

With the massive vehicle downed, it'd be best to flee before rescue operations arrive. And there is no way you are going to assault the interior of a hostile warship full of soldiers.

Through Haller's guidance, yopu end up on the foggy shore next to a mountain. There is an opening, large enough for mechs within.

You hear the hum of fighters in the fog. Perhaps it'd be best to lay low and trick them into thinking your vehicles were destroyed in the crash? Haller has AA, but it needs to recharge after his attack.

You move into the cave as a group, opting to get out of sight. With rocks around the Blyat can recharge its fuel/ammo. As you push in, you notice... light. Around the corner is a temple of marble... Wait...

The world fades to white.

"Greetings champion." An emotionless man greets you, "I am Dokas, god of reunion. You have journeyed into forbidden lands and uncovered my secret temple. As a reward, I offer you a gift."

You look around, you are in your adult body. Your child body notes that the temple has no real adornments, just pillars and glowing orbs of light set into them around an empty altar

"The lost island of the shallow sea is a treacherous destination, but you have proven yourself brave and resourceful enough to get here."

>Brett the Operative. Your drinking buddy and a member of Federation black ops. He's the one who told you about cloning, and a master of close combat. Absolute shit at piloting mechs in battle though.

Perks:
-Close Call - An attack that would kill you cannot once per battle.
-Sound of Silence - bonus to sneaking without mech.
-Cloak and Dagger - can silently kill an unaware target once per combat with initiative.
-Platformer - able to climb walls and jump over gaps normal people cannot.

You are Levi, Mechanic of Alex, who has been missing for a week now. Despite efforts to find him, not even the camera feed shows him leaving the base, which is weird...

You saw him off. You KNOW he left. Efforts to recover him have been futile... You're wondering if it's time to take matters into your own hands... Perhaps take one of the base mechs and look yourself.

But first, you stuck five dollars in this vending machine, and you intend to get your soda.

You chug your soda. You immediately spit it out. Shit tastes like detergent. Fuck, you should've gone for the strawberry.

Nonetheless, you stroll to the mechbay with your hard-light multi-tool computer on your arm. But not to forget about Alex. Oh no. Since his disappearance, HQ took all the Asymmetrical mechs to scan for teleporter devices. And you got grilled for it.

Another reason jacking a mech to look for your pilot seems so appealing.

You have two mech bays to choose from.

>Humanoid mechs, used by posers and morons trying to pick up chicks. They choose form and romance over function. Regardless, their modular construction allows for a veritable armory of interchangeable weapons to choose from.
Perks:
-Metal Wolf - This mech maintains balance like a human. Mechanic's knowledge allows the mech to traverse difficult terrain with ease.
-Armored Core - Attacks that land on the power supply do not do bonus damage.

>Vehicle. Swift and small, the vehicle is a small transforming mech with a great deal of utility. though unpopular, these tiny craft are effective against their larger cousins... and infantry. Sometimes even aircraft.
perks
-Pocket Tank - Massive evasion bonus.
-Arma - Mechanic enables vehicle to change forms without wasting a turn.

The hummingbird. The most beloved of the vehicle class. A simple atmospheric fighter with simplistic controls, it became popular in war movies, although not as common or romantic as mechs. The ability to land and attack from behind enemy lines with anti-mech weapons proved to be effective on multiple battlefields across the galaxy.

Yes, this was the perfect vehicle for you to find Alex with, and you WOULD find him. After all, nobody knew Alex better than you.

A few adjustments and you override the DNA cache, replacing it with your own marker. A mechanic like yourself has no issue clearing out the DNA cache of these machines.

You begin the startup sequence as soon as you sit in the cockpit. The cargo hold to fht Hummingbird is small, able to fit survival supplies in a crash, but not much else.

The machine lifts off the ground, and nobody seems to have noticed. Your finger hovers over the signal for the door controls... the same doors Alex vanished through.

You are seeing the trippiest fucking thing in your life since Brett gave you that 'relaxation' pill. A beam of light slices the area before you. Stars shoot past. Suddenly, you are in the clouds, with sunlight beaming down. You are above an island, a massive wreck of a core world ship in the distance, and a huge battlecruiser buried in the water not far away. Starfighters, clearly not meant for atmos operation, slowly move through the fog like drunken birds.

...This is not the world you were stationed on. Goddamnit, you've been abducted!

You bring your craft low to the waters by the island. The water kicks up under the power of your jets as you use a full sensory scan of the region.

There is a mountain nearby with machinery inside, but readings are sketchy, you will need to use a drone to get proper readings.

The nearby battlecruiser has roughly 20 people onboard, ant 75 recently kill.ed corpses. There are also five starfighters in very poor condition, and the reactor is reaching dangerous pressure levels. You are out of range.

The patrolling starfighters are armed with laser weapons, near the grade of Union or Coalition forces, with missiles slightly above Federation grade.

There are four massive mechs in the ocean nearby through the fog.

There is a vast array of structures and a starport, with a battleship-class capital ship that appears to be crashed. Various mechs are in the region.

You detect one Federation signal (weak) and a Core World signal (weak) in the same direction, towards the mountain.

You can detect enemy sensors with your advanced suite. You are currently out of range of all scans.

You head towards the mountain. The signal wavers greatly, and you can't seem to connect to the comms... but that's to be expected. Your systems are incredibly powerful. Theirs aren't.

The mountain seems to be volcanic in nature. You can detect caverns within, the largest of which can possibly house mechs.

You fire out a Moth-class drone to scout the largest cave. Small and unnoticable, it zips into the caverns undetected. Rounding a corner, you find...

A core world mech! And the Newt! And a piece of shit mech! Moving past the machines, you spot Alex staring ahead in a trance. A small girl is ordering aroud... a woman with pointy ears and a girl in a witch costume.

Huh, scans indicate the girl has DNA markers with alex- That bastard. He said he was holding off for the right girl, and now he's got a kid?! You're going to beat the snot out of that arrogant ass.

You grab the microphone and activate the drone's speakers.

"Alex you bastard!" The girl jumps and looks around in panic.

"You said that you were saving yourself for a girl back home? You forget that? You go away for a week, and now I see you've got a fucking kid AND two girls? Nevermind you vanished off the base with a damn war machine! What's with the core world mech? I notice your pointy-eared girl there's got mechanic gear. Was my work not good enough?"

Your drone feedback crackles. The core world mech is gazing at your drone.

"I'm not sure who you are, or why you have a beef with Captain Alex, but-"

"I'm Crew Boss Levi, Proxima Aquarii Federation, 4th Fringe Logistics division. Who the hell are you?"

"I'm Fleet Admiral Haller of the Core Worlds." Wait. What.

"I'm sorry, I thought you said Fleet Admiral Haller."

"Yes, you heard me." The voice replies. You look at the core world mech... Liberator, emblazoned with... holy shit it's Fleet Admiral Haller. That's his mech, alright.

What the fuck is that thing doing here? What is HE doing here? Wasn't he missing long before your time?!

When in doubt, yell more. Yell at Alex for philandering and miscegenation. Yell at Haller for letting Alex have a kid in a strange land instead of getting his ass back home. Yell at Alex some more about getting a different mechanic. Yell at Alex some more for getting a sexy Elf mechanic. Really tear Alex a new asshole for having an inappropriately dressed sexy Elf Mechanic. Imply that the kid is hers and Alex's. Demand Alex return his Mech to your care and refuse to let him back until he gives you a kid too since he's handing them out willy nilly to big . . . Eared wannabe mechanic sluts. God knows he is incapable of taking care of a kid, and anyone willing to have one with him must also be too mentally deficient to take care of one. You would assume Admiral Haller to be the one responsible for the child surviving past its birth if he wasn't so clearly unable to keep even a dickless sad sack like Alex from getting laid, so presumably this world has some sort of nanny system or more likely an all powerful god of protecting children from their stupid mistake making parents.

"You know what, I don't care. This is between me and Alex. You're core worlds." You admonish Haller, "besides, if you ARE a fleet admiral, why are you letting a mech pilot drag his kid through this?!"

"Well, I thought-"

"You thought what? We do bring your daughter to work for battlemechs in the Federation? Holy shit. AS FOR YOU, ALEX." The drone turns to Alex, who is stumbling to his feet, "Why the fuck did you get a new mechanic. Is this where you got the child? Philandering around with sexy-pointy-eared mechanics?!"

"H-hold on." Alex stuters, "She was a slave that-"

"You were so desperate to get laid you got a slave and dressed her like a mechanic slut?! How is someone as inept as you, someone who can't even double check his fuel and ammo boxes before leaving manage to raise a child?! You don't even have the self-restraint to save yourself for the girl you promised to return to. How the fuck is the girl still alive? There's crashed battlecruisers and huge mechs out here. How many are you sleeping with? Getting kids for all thje girls? Buiilding a harem you degenerate sick fuck."

"WHOA HOLD ON." The girl shouts, before blinking, "Fuck, wrong one."

Alex repeats, "Hold on there Levi. It's not what you think-"

"Might be exactly what I think at this rate, Alex."

"She's not my kid."

"SHE HAS YOUR DNA MARKERS."

Haller looks at Alex, "Wait... what?"

"She has the genetic markers of Alex!"

"SHE'S ME! WE ARE BOTH ALEX. IT'S A LONG STORY!" Alex calls out to you.

>CONTINUE RANTING UNTIL IT MAKES SENSE
Go on about why the fuck that would make any sense, about he aways coming up with these childish lies to justify his stupid ineptude of being to distracted with his ego to do the most basic things such as double checking his ammo, accuse him of being in a conspiracy with the core worlds involving some sort of high end teleportation technology, ask if the slave thing as something to do about this, point out that the elf thing was weird from the beggining and that now everything makes, then accuse him of having been doing this for years now judging by the age of his child, but then go back and say that this is a unplausible explanation as Alex is too egocentrical and full of shit to actually be able to pull up such a complex plan from the begging... What can only mean that he is taking refuegees from some backwater shithole into federation terrytory in order to have them forced into almost slavery contracts with the megacorps!
Then enter the cave, grab the little girl to save her from Alex and tell them that they have 30 secons to explain before you activate your signal beacon to call the federation here.

Having more sense doesn't get you girl usually, and he also isn't a mech pilot used to surviving absurd battles and isn't adapted to this world yet.

Also, we doesn't know if he indeed has more sense, he just seems to think he has, but this could just be a difference of preferences between how far they okay with risking things, with Alex seeming more "idiot" because he knows that he can support his bet doesn't matter how crazy they tend to look for the others.

Also... I don't care if we are making a harem or sticking with just one girl, but I would prefer not being the only other male in the group besides Haller, its good to have human interactions that aren't limited by harem shenanigans.

You change modes and storm into the cave in mech form. Upon coming to where Alex is, you smoothly park and leave the cockpit in seconds, rushing up to the pilot and grabbing him by the oxygen exchange blister.

"Alex how the fuck does that make sense? You making up lies now? Lies to cover this relationship with some mutant mistress?! Or maybe, maybe you and this core world general are working a slave ring? Is that it? No, wait, you're too much of an egotist to think of something like that."

"Why are you so mad, Levi? Even if I wasn't saving myself for that girl, why are you upset?" Alex asks.

"Oh come on. You really are a moron. Names are the same, she joined at the same time as you... It's me, dumbass."

"What? You? I can't believe you were here the whole time."

"...No I'm not, the fact you believed that immediately is just proof of how much of an imbecile you are." Even though... you are that girl. But Alex is just too much of a damn moron. Every time he invited you out for drinks with him, you'd get dressed and show up... and he wouldn't recognize you. So goddamn dense.

You scoop up the child, "I'm going to take her away from an idiot like you before you get her killed, and you have 30 seconds to explain things before I activate a hyperspace beacon and call the federation down on an AWOL slave-trading pilot."

The girl grabs your helmet and forces you to look at her, "I'M CAPTAIN ALEX, LEVI, YOU SHITSTAINED GREASEMONKEY! I MADE A DEAL WITH A BACK-ALLEY WITCH AND ENDED UP LIKE THIS. FUCKING. LISTEN."

"How are you doing that talking thing together?"

You alternate each word this time, "I told you both of these are me. I have two bodies. Medical mishap with core world tech."

Levi looks back and forth, "...You used a damaged restoration device, didn't you? Holy shit, I bet you were too mechanically impaired to check to see if the dismantling array was working!"

"...when I met a Coalition pilot turned goddess." You admit.

"Not the burning people alive? Good lord you are dense as hell." Levi groans and climbs into their mech, "There's a lot of patrols outside, I can spot most of them."

You climb into the newt, firing it up. You begin to head out, "So, I was trying to do a quest for one goddess, and made a deal with a witch I found in the undercity... And I ended up a little girl."

"Alex, name one time you went to a shady part of town and made a deal that went well for you." Levi groans.

"...Aside from that, I came to the lost region to solve that and met Haller... and well, my situation."

"And we tortured Nazis." Haller added.

You hear Levi choke on something, "Ghak- what?! Nazis? is that what those guys outside are?"

"Yes, well we cornered a huge mech and got iceworms to fight it for us.... and um..." You trail off, unsure of how to explain Shilath.

"Hold that thought, Alex, we might have incoming." Levi warns.

"Negative, they are heading another direction." Levi announces. You move forward. The images of high-tech modular buildings begin to loom out of the fog. A wall with a gate.

"We're here..." Haller announces... "That capital ship in the starport... it's not from the Core."

"Yeah, only detecting destroyed Core mechs. only core tech left is the buildings and defenses, which appear DNA-locked off. All the power seems to be working, but... I'm detecting only human remains in the city proper. The starport has a lot of human activity, and mechs... but not Core make." Levi states.

"Damnit... They must have overwhelmed us with the battleship."

"It's torn up, if its any consolation, it won't fly again." Levi tries.

"Small comfort. My crew, my close friends... are all dead. Every last one of these bastards needs to burn."

You frown, "I appreciate the enthusiasm, Fleet Admiral, but we can't charge in without a plan..."

Levi pipes in, "we can probably locate gaps in defenses of the battleship, figure out a way to deal with the camp."

"I want to detonate its reactor. I want it out of my colony. These monsters deserve oblivion." Haller replies.

"Well, it looks like that is an option... unless we want to sneak in on foot..."

Actually, on second thought.
Haller's probably on the dna lock, so renable the defenses or something?
>>
>>2256694
>>2256706
'Sneak in with Haller.

Steal all the things.

Alternatively, do we have any monster meat left?
>>
>>2256704
Would it be considered a war crime if we made a bunch of people here eat the monster meat?
>>
>>2256818
Probably, but we've already passed that point.

>>2256694
>>2256817
Sneak with Haller and one of Levi's drones to make sure she can keep watch on us while we are inside.
Have another drone as high in the sky as its possible to go while undetected to have an upper view from the situation.
Mission is to reactive the defenses by using Haller's dan markers in the old city buildings.
Meanwhile have Levi and the girls keeping watch over our mechs in the closest as they can be of our infiltration point while being undetected.
Have Hilda in our cockpit as she can at least deal with the sensors...

...and have Levi give her the most basic rundown she can give of how to walk the mech while we are inside, in case we need to get our mech out of the line of fire.(optional)

To be true, we are only trusting that Shilath having more "Ice worm MK.2s" are is a good thing, as far we can know she is okay with doing minor things for us while we are on her terrytory, but I doubt that she could leave this icy biome.

I'm not against creating more monster girls if we end up having people surrendering, but there is no need of keeping anyone alive for that.
>>
>>2256704
Hey QM, what exactly is the power difference between or mechs? Is Haller much more stronger than the rest? is the Blyat much more weaker than the rest?
>>
>>2256704
Forgot about our two bodies...
Have the adult body go with Haller, have the other stay to pilot the mech.
>>
>>2256694
> Get Levi to help us fix our body

>>2256940
Splitting our bodies is a bad idea, since even under controlled situations we have difficulty focusing on just one of them.

You want our child body miming a fight our adult body is in, while inside a Mech?
>>
>>2257014
Okay, lets bring the two bodies into the city then.
>>2256704

>>2257014
> Get Levi to help us fix our body
I don't know if he can do that, and the ship is far from here at this point... We should do it AFTER we clear the nazi base.
>>
>>2257021
> Willing doing an escort quest

Child bodies don't belong in war zones!

We should gather a mercenary force to take over the base and make it ours.
>>
>>2257022
Yeah, about that. We're in the area nobody ever comes back from. There's no mercenary company alive that would take a job to this place.
>>
>>2256818
Just back thr meat into cookies or pies and have your girl buddy just walk up and offer free food
>>
>>2257028
>Yeah, about that. We're in the area nobody ever comes back from.

Kind of loses the mystique once we come back from it though.
>>
>>2257095
I was thinking of grinding it up into powder and then throwing it in people's faces.
>>
>>2257126
It won't lose its mystique. We will be automatically more mysterious and badass by being the ones who came back. That is, if people believe us.
>>
>>2256930
the Blyat, compared to other mechs, has the worst armor and armaments. Haller's Liberator has the best (or had the best, but you surpassed the armor with mech blessings.)
>>
>>2257306
Where would they be on a scale of 1 - 10 offense/defense and is there a difference in dps?
>>
>>2257306
Also I'm excited for when we inform Levi that the elf is our kind of daughter since she needs to learn how to be a free person.

I see it as Levi at first grilling the Elf then making Seirye her apprentice slash little sister since Alex is really not competent for handling that sort of thing.
>>
>>2257022
>>2257028
>>2257095
>>2257126
Guys, seriously, we're going in, there is no one here to help us, Haller is probably mad as hell and won't accept going back, and trying to run is probably just going to make things worse by letting them having more time to fix their shit up.

We can either do a stealth mission or take them from surprise, your choice.

Seriously, why are you guys even suggesting going back at this point? WTF? Have you really became Alex!?

>tfw you are Levi.
>>
>>2257669
On a scale of 1-10 All mechs encountered so far: Offense first, Defense second. DPS is accounted for, pilot bonuses are not. This is the current standing.

Quixote - 2/2
Blyat - 3.75/5
Wilfred/Locksley - 4/4
Farmer Mech - 5/2
Nebel - 5.5/8
Hummingbird - 6/5
Newt - 7.25/8
Gotestoter - 8.5/9
Liberator - 9/7

Design notes: Royal knights are rounded, and have the same defense as offense. Nazi mechs are heavy armor machines. Core world are high offense, lighter armor. Federation mechs are specialized, and thus vary.

The Royal knights and Blyat are average tech level for this world. The space nazis, Haller, and you were isekai'd, and thus you offset the curve of mech strength greatly.
>>
>>2257883
Mechs not chosen:
Kiwi: 5/7
Axolotl: 6/8
Rhea: 7/7
Salamander: 9/6
