You are Chief Pierce leader of the Flinstone clan. It is your duty to lead your people to victory and prosperity. Shall you rise to the challenge or fall in defeat. Last time you and your clan grew in size and numbers as you managed to gather a fair number of Pokemon and managed to defeat a number of enemies of both your clan and Clan Quake. After the most recent. Attack you have offered to aid them in gathering more Pokemon as you plan to explore more of the region and gather resources.

Last thread: >>2200037

Looking around the camp you start to gather up your party for the joint hunt that you suggested. As you are doing this you are approached by both Drake and Crystal.

“Is there anything that you want us to do while you are out on the hunt,” Crystal asks looking over at you.

“Actually there are two things I can think of,” you say looking over at them after taking a second to think. “Drake would it be possible for you to spend more time exploring the lake and Crystal could you grab more stones.”

At that, both of them nod and go to gather some people as you head out with the party that you have already gathered. When you make it to there territory you are greeted by a group of hunters lead by the hunter who you met earlier.

“Chief Gaia has sent me, Shar, to aid in this exercise,” she says pointing to the 4 men behind her. Where did you have in mind for us to go hunting?

Where do you wish to hunt
In the desert
In the cave
By the lake

By the lake. Also we need to figure out a way for us to keep water pokemon at our village. Those cave water pokemon are just too good not to have.

Already taken care of, we constructed a small pond. It's currently housing about 3 Magikarp and 3 Feebas, if memory serves.

“Do you know of anywhere other than the desert?” you ask looking over at her.

She shakes her head sighing, “No we only just started to head into the desert a bit before we told you about this.”

Nodding in response, “Ok then we shall be heading into the desert in search of Pokemon.”

She nods and with that you all head out down the mountain. When you arrive you start to march through the deserts together. After a while, you manage to come across some prickly plants. You are about to just go and pass them by but you notice that a few of them is moving. Seeing that some of them are moving you gather up your Pokemon and attack the moving ones. After a rather quick battle which gets a bit tense after a couple of hits seemed to hit your Pokemon rather hard. When you are done you are left with three Pokemon you are short and round versions of the plant and three Pokemon who are taller versions with flowers.

Which one do you take

“You can have the first pick,” you say looking over at her. She nods in thanks and looks at the two types of Pokemon that you have captured before she points her men over to the taller of the two. Her men walk over to them and start to lead the tall ones away. Seeing that she has chosen the tall ones you point over at the shorter ones and direct your men to grab them. They nod and you begin the trip back to the mountain.

When you arrive at the mountain Shar nods and heads off with her own people leaving you to head back up that mountain yourself. When you make it back you are greeted by Drake who tells you he found a passage that leads further into the mountain. With that done crystal comes to you to report she managed to gather up some more hard stones.

Having heard that information about the passage you decide to head over to that passage that Drake told you about. Taking your men you head out of the camp and head over to the lake. When you arrive you can see a number of Pokemon calmly swimming in the lakes waters. After taking a moment to search around you see the passage that Drake was talking about. With your men following behind you head through the passage. As you go you have to fight off a number of Pokemon such as Geodudes and some Zubats. After you all have been traveling for a while you can see a faint light at the end of the tunnel. Moving carefully you head through the pathway to see all sorts of plants spread out before you. In those plants, all sorts of Pokemon roam through those plants as you can smell all sorts of wonderful scents. Seeing the scene laid before you all you decide to take a moment to look before you order men to return to the camp.

You and your men’s return is quicker than it took you to arrive at the end of the passageway. When you make it back to camp you can see that the newly acquired cacnea have made some friends in the camp. Two of the women without Pokemon now have Cacneas and Trea managed to befriend the last Cacnea. With those bonds formed only the young children of your clan haven’t bonded with Pokemon.

So I know Tara has befriended the leader of the Mareep, but she's already got a job crafting stuff. She's busy figuring out metal. I don't want to waste her time with sheep stuff, we just need someone, probably one of the non-hunters, to cut their wool off every so often so we can use it to make cloth. They wouldn't even need to protect the Mareep much, they're in a pen and we've fortified the entryways.

As you look around the camp you see a bright flash over in a corner. You headed over to it and see that Tara is with all of the Mareep and is directing them to fire bolts of lightning at the Steelix’s body. You can see that a gray liquid seems to be melting off of it.

“What are you doing?” you ask looking over at her.

After a couple of seconds, she turns and looks over at you looking a bit surprised to see you, “Oh I guess you are wondering what I’m doing. Well, I figured if they can use lightning I can melt the body into something I can work with. Seeing how we don’t have a way to shape it as it is.”

“Fine then but I need someone to shear them,” you say.

“I can arrange for that to be done,” she says before turning back to the corpse and ordering them to blast it with more lightning. As she does you notice that the Mareep at her side grow taller and it's lightning gains more strength as it turns into a pink Pokemon with less fur.

Having witnessed that you decide to grab Crystal and head to the forest. You quickly gather your men and head to her tent to invite her to the area. The second that you mention the plants she rushes over to you and demands to go which you quickly agree to. Once again you make your way through the passage and when you arrive at the area you found last time you head into the area with plants. As you go in you can see all sorts of Pokemon and you order your men to get as many as you can.

At the end of it all, you manage to return to camp with 3 Seedots, 2 Budews, 3 oddish, and a Cherubi. In addition to that Crystal managed to gather up 10 blue berries that she takes with her as you all return. When you make it back to the camp you can see the Steelix has grown smaller and the silver puddle around it has grown. In addition to that, you can see that most of the Mareep’s wool is shorter.

I don't think there's any grass type in particular we need to bond with. The problem is, really, that all of them except Cacnea need evo stones to reach their final stage. Think Budew needs friendship, too. None of our current grass type options are great, we didn't get anything amazing like Tangela, Phantump, Shroomish, or a starter. But they ought to reach their second stages quickly, given the plentitude of rock and ground types in the area, so that'll at least be useful. Maybe try for a The Cherubi, we should give to someone that'll head our agricultural efforts at baby's first farm. The rest, just to whoever, really. Trade the rest, Gaia could use them.

Shit if anything we ought to bond with a Magikarp.

How closely is this quest tied to the games? It seems we can only use water types in the water.
>>
>>2239394
I assume fish Pokemon have to stay in the water, but if a Magikarp evolves into a Gyarados, or Feebas Milotic, I think they'll be okay out of the water. Milotic definitely can. And Gyarados, I don't think they need to breathe water, quite. There's plenty of instances showing them sticking the upper half of their bodies out of the water, and they're just breathing oxygen at that point. At least for periods of time. They could, hypothetically, use Water Gun or some such periodically to keep themselves wet.

Seeing how Tara’s work has been moving on with the melting of the Steelix you decide to lend Wyrm to her to help. You order Wyrm to follow her orders and help melt the Steelix. As you send Wyrm away you feel a strange sensation at your feet. Looking down you see one of the Budew’s that you got smile up at you. You look down at the creature and as you do you catch sight of the other creatures following behind Crystal as she walks over to you.

“Ah hello Pierce,” she says as she greets you while the Budew starts to dance around her feet. “I have given the berries to Merin and she has already started to plant them with the help of the berry Pokemon we found.”

You nod at her and she heads off to another portion of the camp. Seeing head off you decide to look over at the Pokemon and you see that the 3 Seedots and the Oddish are just hanging around. Seeing them there you gather some men and head down to the Quake Clan with them in tow. When you arrive Terra quickly comes out to greet you.

“Ah hello Clan leader Pierce what brings you here?” she asks looking over at you.

Heading around the camp you decide to gather up your group and head over to the lake. As you are gathering your group you catch sight of Drake playing with his Golbat.

“Drake could you go hunting once more,” you ask looking over at him.

“That works I just gather up my men and be out,” he replies getting up with his Pokemon following behind him.

As they head out the rest of your men join you and you start on your way to the lake. When you arrive at the lake you all get to work trying to catch some of the Pokemon that are there. However, while you do manage to get 3 more Magikarps and feebasses you only get one Wooper. When you return there you can see that the hunting party has brought in a decent haul but nothing special. With that done you and your fellow clansmen continue to train with your Pokemon.

Looking over at the Pokemon that you currently have you decide that it might be a good idea to go out and get some more Pokemon. Gathering up your men you ready an expedition towards the forest once more. As you head out you stop Crystal and ask her to gather up some more stones in the meantime.

It doesn’t take you long to make it to the forest and when you get there you order your men to grab as many Pokemon as you can. This session of Pokemon gathering goes rather well for you. At the end of the hunt, you managed to catch 2 Parases, 3 Caterpies, 3 Sewaddles, and 2 Weedles. Though the Weedles were a bit difficult as they managed to infect your men with some kind of poison, which though it wore off took its toll on you and your men.

When you return to camp you place the newly captured Pokemon in the pen and start to train with your Pokemon. As you train you notice something strange going on with both Drake and Trea’s Golbats. The two creatures start to glow and you can see them shift in a slightly smaller form with 4 wings. Something similar happens a couple of days later with both your and Crystals Budews shifting forms into that of a Roselia. The tiny Pokemon hug and start to run around excited about their new bodies. As you are celebrating the growth your Pokemon have had Tara approaches you.

“I have managed to melt down the Steelix's body. What do you want me to do with it now?” she asks you.

You tell her to wait for a bit for you to think it over and she nods heading off.

Leave it for now. What's our spear made of, again?

>See if anybody can bond with Pokemon. "Give" Crystal the Weedle, Tara the Seawaddle, and Merin the Paras. Crystal can try to harvest poison for our weapons, Tara silk for fabric and netting, and Merin can do something with the fungi. Maybe start a mushroom farm, somehow.
>Train. Hopefully Sand evolves soon. Let's name the Roselia Bloom.
>Make a few spears of the Excadrill claws/horn.

Maybe we can make a banner out of that Excadrill pelt. I don't know what else we'd do with it. Give it to Trea to form a map? Fuckin', I guess. Flag'd be cooler.

That's probably good enough. The metal might be better served coating the Drillbur spears, or making shields. Hmm. Are Protectors required to evolve Rhydon, and if so, do we know about them?

We should set aside like twenty Hard Stones for Boulder in that case. Let him know they're available whenever he might want to use them, but also, no pressure or anything. Pierce loves him just the way he is, no need to change if he doesn't want to.

“We can leave it for now,” you say looking at her before walking off before talking. “I do have something that I would like you to do though. Could you take the Materials from the Excadrill and make another spear?"

She gives you a nod in response before walking off towards her corner. Looking around the camp you can see the new Pokemon starting to get along with their new masters. Tara is followed by her new Sewaddle following behind her. You can also spot Merin removing and planting the mushrooms on her Paras while Crystal examines her Weedle. While they all get used to their new Pokemon you decide to organize a bit of training. Once everyone is gathered you get them started training. You make sure to include training with the spears that Tara made from the Drillber and Excadrills. At the end of it all, you can see that your Pokemon have come rather far.

As you walk around camp one day you find yourself reminded of the Hippowdon that is lurking near your territory. As you are reminded you call for Drake to gather up his men and head out with you to defeat the creature. You both grab the Shelgon shields and he takes the spear made from the Excadrill’s horn and you set out with your Pokemon.

The group heads down to the lower levels of the caves before you finally come across the place that worried you a while back. As you enter the room Sand starts to fly all around the room and you see the Hippowdon and its minions rise up from the sand pool they have created. The creature roars at you before it starts to approach you. You charge into the room with your Pokemon at your side and begin to fight the creature. The fight is from the beginning in your favor. Bloom manages to take care of many of the Hippotas by herself and you and Drake focus on the creature not letting it attack others. As you are fighting you can see a strange change overtake your Pupitar. It is surrounded by bright light and it grows arms and legs once more. With its new form, it holds down the Hippowdon allowing you to finish it off. With the leader finished the rest of the Hippotas flee and you are able to take the bodies of those that you slayed with you.

When you return to camp you have a small celebration before you get back to some training. At the end of the training Crystal returns with 3 crystals and a good deal of hard stones.

As you are celebrating you find the festivities interrupted by Gaia.

“I’m sorry to interrupt your celebrations but you were attacked by the Fang clan once more. They managed to completely destroy use with there Pokemon which have become more powerful. I came to warn you and ask if you would be willing to help us attack them.”

“I would be glad to, however, there is one thing that I must ask,” you reply thinking things over carefully. “I feel that this would work better if we were united as one clan. So for that purpose how would you feel about you and your people joining our clan.”

“I accept,” she sighs looking over at you. “Our clan was devastated by the attack and we have practically nothing left. I shall gather my people and bring them here.”

By the time that she manages to return with the rest of her people you are already engaged in a training exercise. Gaia and Shar both join in while the rest of the former Quake clan members get to work moving into the old tents you had set up. As you all are training you hear the sound of shouting come from the caves. Ordering your men quickly you grab your spear and head over to the barricade that you made.
Looking into the hall you can see that the men from the Fang clan are attacking you now. Behind them, you can see a Garchomp, a Goodra, and a good number of Dugtrios. You stay behind the wall and have your Pokemon fire at the approaching foes. It slows them down for a bit and you even manage to take down a couple of Dugtrio before they manage to get to the wall. When they get their you and your men charge at them and begin to push them back. You can even see Shar’s Fraxure evolve into a Haxorus as it fights against the enemy Pokemon. Seeing how the men are fleeing you decide to chase after them with your men. As the men try to flee you can your men keep the pressure on them. Your Pokemon assault them with all sorts of attacks and you can see that their injuries are taking a toll. It doesn’t take long for you to run them down and surround them. As you get ready to attack the thought of taking them alive occurs to you and you…

Thinking things over you decide to let your men rest before you do anything. As you get everything set up you decide that it would be nice to have a small celebration in honor of your victory over the Fang Clan. You and the new members of your tribe start to celebrate the victory over the Fang Clan. The celebrations last a good while and you make sure to welcome the new members of your tribe.

Once that is all done you decide to arrange a bit of training to help your men get used to things. It goes rather well and you can see your men getting ready for a possible attack on the remaining members of the Fang Clan. Thanks to your victory over the leader of the Fang clan your men are very excited and ready to go.

Seeing how you have a good number of new people you decide it would be a good idea to train with them. As you do so you notice that two of your new female members have bounded with the remaining Sewaddles while one of the men is joined by an Oddish. Unfortunately, the training is a bit more difficult due to the numbers and people getting used to your camp.

After you spent a bit of time training you decide to head over to the Carbink cave. You take your normal group with you and head down over to the lower levels where they reside. When you make it to the cave you can see some of the Carbinks smile at you. Looking around the cave you decide to…

Once more you decide to see if you can get the rest of the clan some time training with Pokemon. When you gather them all you can see that many of your new clanmates have managed to befriend the Pokemon you managed to gather. You can see Gaia has befriended one of the Parases and Trea has befriended a Weedle in addition to that the Carbinks that you gathered have joined with some of the new men. In addition to that, some of the women managed to befriend some of the Oddishes that you gathered. With all of the new faces training does have some more difficulty, however, a couple of Pokemon evolve over the course of the training growing stronger.

Whenever you are not training you have those with water Pokemon join you as you start to expand the pool. As you do you can see the water Pokemon swimming inside of it look a bit happier as they continue swimming around.

As you move through the cave you take your time and when you arrive you see that the cave is not as sandy as before. However, you can’t exactly tell what is in the caves without heading in and looking around for something.

Looking into the cave you decide to look around for anything if value and you manage to find quite a deal. When you head in you find some sand that seems softer than the rest of it. At first, you try to avoid it but seeing Boulder enjoy it you decide to grab some. In addition to that, you manage to find 15 brown gems all over the place. When your search stops turning up goods you decide to go and head to the Carbink cave. Heading further down the mountain you end up in the small cavern once more. As with the last time, the Carbink seem to enjoy your presences and they walk over to you happily.

Looking around the cave you can see that there is a small crack in the wall. Looking over at it you can see that there is a small pathway in the walls. Heading through the crack you see that it leads to a cavern filled with crystals. All over the wall you can see crystals of varying colors line the walls. Looking over at the crystals you can see that a bunch of Carbink are looking around. In addition to that, they seem to be fighting some sort of small purple creature with gemstone eyes.

Looking over at the creatures fighting the Carbink you decide to try and catch some of them. As they fight the Carbinks you sneak up and them and manage to grab three of them and quickly rush back to your cave. The creatures struggle but after awhile they calm down and by the time you make it back to camp they have calmed down a bit.

As you get back into camp you get to training session goes rather well and you can see both people and Pokemon grow closer through it. One day during one of your training session you get told of the arrival of the group of ten people. You follow them and see three women leading six girls and a boy.

“We have come to beg to join your tribe,” one of the women says stepping forwards. “You have destroyed the others of our tribe and we have nothing left.”

As she says this they all fall to their knees and kneel before you.

As you walk around camp you catch sight of the Sableye following behind 3 ladies who are all walking around the camp. They greet you and you continue on to meet with Tara. You find her as she is sitting around with her Pokemon examining the Goodra that you found.

“Oh hello chief,” she says greeting you without changing her focus, “What is it that you need me to do?”

“Could you create pelts from those Pokemon that we killed?” you ask looking over at her.

She nods and gets up heading over to go do as you asked her. With that done you start training with the members of the clan. While it doesn’t manage to do as much you do manage to see some improvement throughout the clan. At the end of it, all the women who have just joined the clan have begun to get used to their new life though you can see that they are still loners.

Looking around the camp one more you decide to go and talk to Drake. You find him with his men watching their Pokemon. As you approach them you can see that they are all training some of them to track.

“Drake would you and your men be able to go hunting?” you ask looking over at him.

“That won’t be a problem,” he replies getting up with his Pokemon, “We can handle that fairly easily.”

With that he and his men start to file out of cave. You watch them leave for a couple of seconds before you decide to go and grab the ladies who came from the Fang clan. When you find them they are all standing with their children watching them play.

“I shall be heading to your former clan’s home and I need one of you to guide me,” you say looking over at them.

They look around a bit before the one you talked to when they joined you stands up,”I guess the duty falls on me.”

With that taken care of you gather up your party and head in the direction of the Fang clan. However, very quickly you find yourself running into a small issue. The tunnel that you have decided to take is filled with agitated Diglett’s and Dugtrio’s. All throughout the tunnel, you can hear their cries as the rampage around carving up more of the mountain and destroying what they find to be in their way.

Looking over at the creatures you order your men to get ready and you start to charge into the crowd of Pokemon. As you do you have your creatures all release their attacks while you and your men start to stab the creatures as you get close. Bloom and Wyrm both crush Digletts and Dugtrios left and right and while Boulder and Sand don’t have as easy a time they are still able to crush a good number of Pokemon. Together you all create a path through the Pokemon to the tunnel that leads to the Fang clan’s home. Heading into it you turn back and see that the Pokemon are not following you as you go.

As you walk on you make it to the Fang clan camp and see that there are signs of something having gone through the area. Looking around you can see feathers and the dropping of some kind of bird creature. In addition to that in the dust, you can see a number of footprints both of humans and Pokemon. Looking around the camp you can see that anything that the ladies left has now been taken away by whoever came her before you.

Examining the camp reveals that over by the exit towards the outside of the mountain there is a trail of feathers. Looking over by the feathers you can see the lady fall to the ground as she looks over at the feathers.

“The Talon clan was here,” she says looking down, “If we stayed for a bit longer who could have known what would have happened to us. We could have been….”

As she looks over at them feathers you notice that there are some large Pokemon flying through the sky. On the back of the Pokemon, you can spy people on the back of the Pokemon.

Looking away from the Pokemon riders you decide that you should probably take this time to return to camp. However, just as you are about to set out it hits you that you would have to make your way through the tunnel of Pokemon once more. Looking around with your Pokemon you see a small path that leads in another direction and you get a good idea. You order Boulder and Sand to start digging through the stone. It takes a while but you manage to reach the camp.

When you return you can see that Drake and his group managed to gather a good amount of food in the form of a number of Digletts. In addition to that, you can see that a Butterfree is following around Merin and two other are following some members of the clan. Once you are back to the camp you decide to get some training with your clan done. It doesn’t achieve much you do manage to get Merin and the two others who bonded with the Butterfree’s used to their Pokemon.

Gathering all of your fighters you give them all of the remaining spears that you managed to gather and you get to work training them. As you do this you have Crystal head out and gather some stones from the Carbink cave and you set Merin on the duty of building more homes for your new residents and repairing the wall. While you manage to get in a bit of training with them in it doesn’t really do much overall. At the end of the month, only one chamber was able to be constructed while the wall was being fixed.
