Hello, good people of /qst/. This quest is, as is probably obvious from the OP pic, based on the Teen Titans animated series. You'll be taking the part of a young man and potential Titan, guiding him through his trials and tribulations.

>Rules

There will be a 15 minute voting period between posts.

Please only choose one option (I will let you know in cases where you can choose more)

An option with two arrows (>>) beside it is one that can be combined with other options

Write-ins of dialogue are allowed, but they won't be put in as-written, just sort of the spirit of the write-in. Additionally, dialogue write-ins require a significant amount of support from other players to be put in, as they can greatly affect the character.

Action write-ins will only be allowed under certain circumstances, which I'll announce. You can suggest an action to me if you want, and I may allow it, but might not depending on various factors.

No dice system in this quest. Victory and defeat will come down to decisions rather than random luck. Learn from experiences, develop strategies, and think outside the box at times (like I said, an action can be suggested to me).

Above all, have fun. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone. Through success, failure, and everything in-between, I hope this will be an adventure worth remembering.

Cyborg allows you to accompany him to work on the T-car, but given that your knowledge of this sort of thing appears to be virtually nonexistent, you really can't do much to help him. You don't feel too bad about your lack of ability here; you're pretty sure some of the best mechanics and engineers in the world wouldn't know where to begin with this car. Your contribution basically amounts to keeping your friend company, holding things for him, and occasionally handing him tools. He keeps you entertained by telling you some of the features of the car, and some stories involving it.

Apparently, this is at least his fourth T-Car. The first got possessed by a villain named Overload, and Cyborg had to destroy it to stop him. Terra smashed up his second one (you really need to get Beast Boy to tell you the rest of this story), and the third got disassembled by these weird little imps during a race against someone named 'Ding Dong Daddy'. Each time it breaks, he rebuilds it better than before. He clearly puts a lot of love into it, and even lets slip that he used some of his own programming and systems in its creation.

His work only takes a couple of hours, after which he tells you he's going to go play some chess with Raven, and that he'll see you later. After wolfing down a bag of chips, he takes a seat at one of the tables and sets up a chess board.

You decide to stick around and watch the match.

Raven shows up a few minutes later, sitting down across from Cyborg, who has already set the board for their game. He goes first, and you honestly have a hard time keeping up with their strategies. You can't tell if they're planning like, ten turns ahead, or if they're just acting and reacting with each move. Either way, it's a very close match, until Raven manages a win out of nowhere.

"Checkmate," she tells Cyborg, leaning back in her chair with a smirk.

Cyborg hangs his head, sighing. From this reaction, you get the feeling that he loses to Raven pretty often. You're a little surprised by that, honestly. If Cyborg's half machine, part of you thought that would give him an edge over Raven. It doesn't look like that's the case.

Leaving Cyborg to sulk and Raven to smugly bask in the afterglow of her victory, you leave the living room, deciding to go and find Starfire. You haven't told anybody about your new power yet, but you remember Raven mentioning that Starfire uses her joy to fly just like you do. Or, rather, like you did that one time before your brain malfunctioned.

The first place you check is her room. She answers right after you knock, her usual cheerful smile there, and Silkie sitting on her head for some reason. He waves one of his stubby little legs at you in greeting, and Starfire reaches up to grab him, cradling him like an infant.

"Joyous morning, friend," Starfire says to you. "Is there something with which I may assist you?"

"I got a new power," you inform her. "I can fly now."

Starfire gasps. "Truly? Oh, that is wonderful! To fly is an incredible feeling. I am so very happy for you!"

"Well, it comes from joy like yours does," you tell her. "So, I was hoping you could teach me."

The alien girl smiles at you. "I would be most glad to help you. Let us go outside, and teach you to soar!"

The two of you go out onto the beach outside of the tower. The water's calm, the sky is clear, and the sun is providing just the right amount of warmth for comfort. This seems like an ideal day to learn proper flight. Starfire is already floating in front of you, just a few feet higher than you up in the air.

"On Tamaran, we achieve flight by thinking only joyous thoughts," Starfire explains. "That is how we are taught as children, at least. But, as we grow older and learn to become strong warriors, we come to know that we will need to fly even at times when we do not feel so glad. So, we do not always need to feel the joy, but simply to think of something that brings us joy. You might choose puppies, the laughter of children, a beautiful sunset, a delicious meal, time with friends and loved ones..."

She'll probably go on like this for a while.

>A. Think of something that makes you happy and try to fly

While you usually approach your powers in a very controlled manner, thinking of the feelings rather than actually allowing yourself to feel them, you decide that this is different. You aren't attacking anyone or trying to keep anything away. You're just going to be powered by joy and allow yourself to fly. So, you let yourself feel the emotion, thinking of the things that bring you true joy, and letting the feeling wash over you completely.

Starfire begins to clap for you as you lift off the ground, and you find that you can will yourself to fly higher and higher, until you're soaring far above the island, above even the roof of the Titans Tower. Starfire floats up to join you, grinning from ear to ear.

"Yes! Very good!" she praises. "It is a glorious feeling, is it not?"

Honestly, yes it is. You feel weightless and free up in the air. The view is incredible from so high up, and the thrill of being able to travel by air like many people dream of as kids is hard to ignore. You do feel quite wonderful up here in the skies.

Starfire instructs you on how to move properly, and it turns out that most of the same principles apply to your flight as hers. Thanks to that, you get the hang of these things pretty quickly, and are soon soaring around the island like a bird. Starfire keeps pace with you in case something goes wrong, but it never does. You're flying, and it feels incredible.

After a while, you do begin to feel fatigued. You will yourself to slowly descend, and land on the roof of Titans Tower, overlooking the bay. Starfire touches down beside you, still looking quite pleased to have seen you fly, and helped you in learning it.

"Thanks, Star," you tell your friend with a smile. "This was great."

"You are most welcome, I too had a magnificent time," your friend replies enthusiastically.

Seriously, is she even capable of being mean to somebody? You don't think you've seen anything but pure sweetness from her since you met.

"Next time, we should have a race," you suggest. "Or a game of tag."

Starfire beams at you. "Yes! That sounds most fun! I look forward to it."

Bidding your friend farewell, you go inside, deciding to look for another friend of yours. Beast Boy wasn't playing video games or vegging in front of the TV when you left, and a quick stop at the living room reveals that he's still not there. That's odd for him. You check the training room, but find only Robin and Cyborg sparring together. Leaving them to their work, you decide that the best place to search for Beast Boy right now would probably be his room. As you head that way, you can faintly hear his voice.

It sounds like he's...singing?

"I will obey the traffic rules....Teen Titans! I will eat anything without likes or dislikes....Teen Titans!"

Did he make this song up himself or something? You keep walking toward his door, and he keeps singing.

"Earthquakes, lightning, fire, dad, grammar, math, science, social studies....there is nothing I am afraid of....Teen Titans, go!" Beast Boy manages to get out before you knock on his door.

The music he had playing turns off, and you hear a panicked "just a second!", accompanied by the sounds of something being shoved around. After a few more moments, his door slides open, and he stands in the doorway, trying to look cool and as if nothing happened.

"Sup?" he asks.

"Were you singing?" you ask your friend.

"W-what? Pffft, no!" he answers, his voice and body-language both making it clear that he's lying and not very confident about it.

You'll let it slide, for now, at least. You came to hang out with your friend, so opening with embarrassing him probably wouldn't be the best way to go about it. You shrug at his response, and he sighs in relief, thinking you bought it. Ignorance is bliss, as they say.

"So, what's up?" he asks, seeming more his usual self now.

"I was wondering if you wanted to hit up the arcade," you tell him.

You can't remember much about the local arcades, if you even really visited them in your past life. But, you've found that you enjoy video-games, so a place that's full of nothing but should be a lot of fun. And you know that Beast Boy's more into games than anyone in the tower (aside from maybe Cyborg).

Sure enough, his eyes light up, he races back into his room, and returns, presumably with his wallet or something.

"Yes! Let's go, dude!" he shouts with excitement.

The two of you fly across the bay to the city (Beast Boy was pleasantly surprised that he wouldn't have to carry you), then walk the rest of the way to the arcade. At this time of day, it's still not all that crowded, so you won't have to wait long for any games you want to play.

"Alright," Beast Boy says, rubbing his hands together as he takes in the options. "Which one should we start with?"

>A. "That shooting game looks fun."

"That shooting game looks fun," you tell Beast Boy, pointing out something called 'Temporal Emergency 5'.

"Alright, let's check it out," Beast Boy says, walking over to the cabinet with you.

It's a pretty basic shoot-em-up kind of game, the only thing that's slightly different being a little pedal at your feet that you press to take cover while you reload. The two of you get the hang of it pretty quickly, though you notice that you're scoring far higher than Beast Boy. He's doing well, but somehow you're just slaying at this game, shooting down enemies before they have a chance to draw their weapons, or at times before they even have a chance to get fully on-screen. The two of you play through the entire game, with you not losing a single life, and Beast Boy losing two.

"That was awesome, dude!" Beast Boy shouts happily, giving you a high-five. "You were amazing!"

Yeah. Strange, since you don't even remember if you've ever played that type of game before. You decide not to give it too much thought right now, and instead just enjoy your time with your friend. The two of you play through several games (most of which Beast Boy outshines you in), eating up a few hours in the arcade before starting toward home, chatting about the fun you just had.

Your stomach begins to rumble.

"Want to grab something to eat while we're out?" you ask as the two of you pass an alleyway.

"Sure, how about we...." Beast Boy starts before going wide-eyed and silent. "Uh....dude?"

Turning around, you see some long, metallic, snakelike thing fast approaching. It's making a sound almost like a vacuum cleaner, and you could swear you hear some kind of thumping nearby.

"Kardiac!" Beast Boy shouts, taking the form of a Tyrannosaurus and biting down on the strange object.

You hear a crunch, and see the metallic thing begin to crumple in on itself, but are surprised to see that it begins to retract, pulling Beast Boy along with it. Beast Boy opens his mouth and releases it, turning back into his human form and grabbing your wrist.

"Dude, come on, we have to go!" he shouts, dragging you along.

The thumping becomes louder, and you hear a multitude of shocked, horrified screams as a shadow covers you and your friend. Looking up, you see what looks to be a gigantic heart, with several metallic tendrils sticking out from it. It seems to be beating like a real heart would, and it also seems to be targeting you and Beast Boy. Two of the tendrils shoot down toward you.

With Beast Boy still grabbing your wrist, you decide to teleport the two of you as far as possible away from that abomination in the sky above you. Bringing up the proper thoughts and focusing as hard as you can in the seconds you have before the tendrils hit, you teleport both yourself and Beast Boy most of the way to the tower, ending up about two blocks from the bay.

The bad news is that now you're so tired you can barely stand, forcing you to lean on Beast Boy, who does his best to move the two of you as quickly as possible.

"Call the others," you manage to grunt out.

Beast Boy pulls out his communicator. "Guys, it's Beast Boy. Kid Crimson and I need help, Kardiac's after us!"

"Hang on, we'll be right there!" Robin promises before ending the communication.

Beast Boy makes it a few more steps with you before the shadow appears once again, and the giant heart sends its tendrils down toward the two of you. Beast Boy pushes you to the ground, stands over you, and takes the form of an ankylosaurus, his armored back shielding him from the tendrils, and, by extension, protecting you. You hear that odd, vacuum-like sound, and the tendrils retract, pulling Beast Boy into the air.

"Run!" he shouts, turning back to normal.

Two more tendrils shoot down at you, and in your prone state, you know that you won't be able to escape in time. But, just as they're about to reach you, something cuts through the tendrils, causing them to fall to the ground.

Then, something strikes the heart itself. You hear a series of beeps, then there's a large explosion that sends the heart careening into a nearby building, slamming against the wall and sliding down to the ground. In that moment, Beast Boy manages to free himself, and looks around to see who just rescued the two of you.

"No way..." you hear him gasp, and follow his gaze to see your savior standing on the rooftop of a building across the street.

He's a tall, muscular man dressed in a black-and-gray body suit, with a mask that's brown on one side, and black on the other. Oddly, only the brown side has an eyehole, while the other side covers everything. He has gray gauntlets, and pieces of armor covering various parts of his body. He doesn't say a word, simply stepping back and jumping off the other side.

"Did he just...save us?" Beast Boy asks in complete disbelief.

"Who was he?" you ask, still staring in the direction of the now-vanished figure.

Beast Boy continues to look at the rooftop in wide-eyed shock, taking a few seconds to collect his thoughts and actually give you an answer.

"Slade..." he practically whispers.

That was Slade? Well, that would explain why his armor did look a bit like Rose's. But you thought Slade was a bad guy, like, one of the worst. Then again, that's probably why Beast Boy looks like pigs just flew past.

Speaking of Beast Boy, you totally forgot to make sure he's okay after...whatever that heart thing did to him.

"Are you alright?" you ask your friend, who still hasn't taken his eyes of that spot on the roof.

"I think I must have hit my head or something," Beast Boy answers. "There's no way that could have been Slade."

Within a minute or two, the others show up, each looking ready for war, and then surprised to see that the situation already appears to have resolved itself. Kardiac still isn't moving, you and Beast Boy are in one piece (though both in questionable condition), and it looks like there are no enemies left to fight.

"Looks like you didn't need our help after all," Robin remarks, putting away his weapons as he and Cyborg come to help you and Beast Boy along. "Nice work."

"It wasn't us," Beast Boy tells Robin.

"Then who was it?" Starfire questions.

"Slade," Beast Boy answers, nearly causing Robin to drop him in shock.

The stunned reactions from everyone else say everything they'd be able to get across in words. You still don't know much about Slade, but you do know that, based on how they're acting, it's as if the devil himself just came to your rescue. Now you're wondering if he was actually aiming for Beast Boy when he hit Kardiac.

"You're sure?" Robin demands, sounding almost angry.

"Either it was him, or one of his robot doubles," Beast Boy answers. "Unless he has a twin brother we don't know about."

"But Slade, really?" Cyborg asks. "I could see Rose doing something like that, but Slade?"

"Cy, do you think I'd ever mistake anybody else for Slade?" Beast Boy demands.

I'm thinking the opposite. For Slade to have responded this quickly, he must have been monitoring us. He would have had plenty of opportunity to bag us if that was his goal.

I think, rather, Slade and Blood have opposing goals, and whatever this rescue was, us alive and with the Titans is to Blood's detriment and our benefit.

Of course, the question remains why Slade would announce his presence like this. Whether it was a robot or the genuine article, he probably could have kept us safe via a proxy, witting or otherwise.

"Maybe Slade wants us alive for some reason?" you suggest.

"Slade's been pretty consistent about wanting us dead," Raven tells you.

Robin nods in agreement. "I can't think of many reasons he'd want us alive. And none of the ones I can think of are good. What I really don't get is why he's shown himself. We haven't seen him in a long time. The closest we came was Beast Boy fighting one of his doubles a couple months ago."

"Whatever's brought Slade out of hiding, it can't be good," Cyborg states. "Especially when we already have Blood to worry about."

"Fear not, friends," Starfire encourages optimistically. "We have defeated both Slade and the Brother Blood before. We have always stopped them in the end, and this will be no different."

"There was one time we couldn't stop Slade..." Beast Boy remarks sadly.

"Starfire's right," Raven says, backing up her friend. "We've beaten worse than Slade or Blood. We'll be fine."

"In any case, sitting around here speculating and worrying won't do us any good," Robin tells everyone. "Let's get back to the tower."

Once the authorities take away Kardiac, Cyborg helps you and Beast Boy into the T-Car, and transports the two of you back to the tower. Beast Boy hangs out in the living room, looking strangely thoughtful, while Robin immediately leaves for his room.

Starfire sighs. "He will be there for quite some time."

"Well, that's Robin for you," Cyborg tells her.

"I've got some things to look into," Raven says, heading for the door. "I'll be in my room."

And then there were four.

"I'm kind of out of the loop, here," you tell the others. "Can you guys tell me about Slade?"

The others share looks, then gather around to give you their stories about the man called Slade. They pretty much tell you to take a seat, because this could take a while, and you find yourself sitting on the sofa as the other three pull up a blackboard, jot down some notes on scrap paper, and talk amongst themselves to get some details right. Finally, they turn to you, and get things underway.

"It started with the HIVE," Cyborg tells you. "Back before Blood ran it, HIVE academy would sell teams of their students to super villains for a small fortune. Slade hired three of them; Jinx, Gizmo, and Mammoth, to destroy us. They almost won, but we managed to turn the tables. Gizmo let slip that someone named Slade had sent them, and that's where it really began. Next, Slade tricked two brothers named Thunder and Lightning into creating a giant fire creature that nearly torched the whole city. After that, Robin became completely obsessed with the guy."

"No kidding," Beast Boy says turning the whiteboard to show you a crudely drawn image of a figure in black with a red x on his face. "Robin got so nuts, he dressed as a villain and tried to trick Slade into working with him. It didn't work, and Robin almost got himself killed."

"Later, Slade tricked us into believing he was in possession of a powerful and dangerous device," Starfire tells you. "In reality, it was a trap. He separated us from Robin, and managed to release microscopic probes into our blood. He told Robin to serve him, or he would use the probes to kill us."

"It took us a while to figure out what was going on," Cyborg says regretfully. "We'd thought that Robin had really turned on us, had really joined Slade. But when we did learn the truth, we tracked down Robin, and the five of us took down Slade. Well, we beat him, but he wasn't done."

"He came back not long after that," Beast Boy tells you. "Around the time we met Terra, and convinced her to work for him. He taught her to control her powers, and how to use them against us. He had her give away the tower's security codes, then sent an army of his robots to take us out. I wasn't there, but I found out the truth. Slade told me himself. Eventually, he sent Terra after us, and nearly killed us all. We came back, and Terra turned on him. She gave her life, but Slade died with her."

"But that was not the last of him," Starfire tells you. "He had left a nasty trick in his old armor, and with it convinced Robin that he had returned from the dead. Robin was almost killed fighting a Slade that was not really there."

"Then Slade came back for real," Beast Boy tells you.

>>2222257
Back from the dead? That sounds impossible, but considering all you've seen and done recently, you're pretty much ready to roll with it. You don't question them on Slade's resurrection, and let them continue.

"He was revived by the demon Trigon," Starfire explains. "A terrible being of unspeakable evil that has conquered and destroyed millions of worlds. He chose Slade as his servant, and sent him against us."

"It turned out Raven was Trigon's daughter," Cyborg tells you, giving you a moment upon seeing your shocked expression.

Raven's the daughter of a planet-conquering demon. Now you see why everyone's so worried about getting on her bad side. But, considering how bad her dad is, or was, she's turned out great.

"But more than that, Raven was meant to be the portal that would allow Trigon into our world," Starfire continues for Cyborg. "Slade was sent to make her accept her role and summon Trigon."

"We tried to stop him from getting to her," Beast Boy tells you. "And we tried to stop her from giving in."

Cyborg shakes his head. "But Slade was on a totally different level than before. He was pretty much invincible, and with a bunch of crazy powers from Trigon. He almost killed us, and Raven gave in."

"Ironically, it was Slade that helped us to defeat Trigon," Starfire tells you. "Trigon betrayed Slade once Raven accepted her role, and in revenge, Slade helped us find what remained of Raven after the summoning apparently destroyed her, and gave us a way to defend ourselves from Trigon's power. He fought on our side in the final battle against Trigon, and we have not seen him since."

"We thought he was dead," Beast Boy says bitterly, clearly wishing it were so. "But then one of his robot doubles popped up about the same time Terra came back."

"That was a couple of months ago," Cyborg tells you. "And then, today, he shows back up again."

"Wait, how did Terra come back?" you ask.

"Terra didn't exactly die..." Cyborg tells you, scratching the back of his head as he tries to think of how to explain it. "It's more like...her powers turned her to stone."

"How did she come back from that?" you ask.

"Well, when Trigon showed up, he turned everyone on Earth into stone," Beast Boy tells you. "We think that, when Raven reversed what Trigon did and turned everyone back to normal, she turned Terra back, too."

Sure, why not?

"Is Slade maybe back because of his daughter?" you ask. "Is it just a coincidence that he showed up right after she visited?"

"From what Rose told us, they aren't very close," Cyborg tells you. "When we first met her, she had no idea where he was, and was half-convinced that he'd died. And some of the stories she told us about her childhood...well, let's just say they didn't have the most healthy relationship."

"Well, then maybe he wants us to help fight some kind of threat?" you suggest. "Maybe Blood worries him."

"He's never taken much interest in Blood before," Cyborg tells you. "But, it sounds like Blood's up to something big, so who knows?"

"I'm going to head back to my room and take a nap," you tell the others, standing up off the sofa. "I've used my powers too much today."

"Until Robin or Raven find what they're looking for, not much we can do anyway," Cyborg tells you with a shrug. "We'll let you know if anything comes up."

"I shall prepare fresh glorrk to lift everyone's spirits," Starfire declares, heading for the kitchen.

"You up for some Mega Monkeys 5, Cyborg?" Beast Boy asks.

"You're on, string-bean," Cyborg tells him as the two take a seat on the sofa.

Leaving them be, you walk to your room, plop down on the bed, ignore the fact that Silkie cuddles up against you, and fall asleep.

Silkie's a grown as Larvae thing. It can make a decision on who it dates. It'd understand right? Who would want that as a lover

MoG, please do not conflate romance with sex.

I enjoyed the flight lessons from Starfire in this session. It was cute, as hoped. It also makes me wonder if it would be interested if Peter did find himself crushing on Starfire, knowing full well that it wouldn't work out due to her relationship with Robin

I enjoy the mental image of Peter suddenly realizing he's got a crush on Starfire, and subsequently panicking because of how inconvenient those feelings are.

In practice, it'd be tough to explore that scenario without also risking it becoming overwrought or a time consuming. Maybe impossible in the context of a Quest.

Still. Interesting.

I have some background in Prog Rock, but I have never really examined it as a genre. I grew up with my dad playing Yes and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

I'm familiar with the Wall, but I've never sat down and listened to it in its entirety. A friend has also given me Brain Salad Surgery by Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Crime of the Century by Super Tramp as assigned listening.

But for now I'm listening to King Crimson's Radical Action on repeat, since it seems to be a good cross section of their music. I'm very much enjoying it.

No.
I could have tried mimicking the style, but matching the coloring and inking would have been tough as that is not my strong suit.
If you really look, you can tell that Kid Crimson is an unholy combination of four of the other Titans.

I have a little theory about Slade if that really was Slade helping us... He knows about blood's plans and in this glorious new future he either doesn't have a place in it or he doesn't want it either. So if he helps us its not outta the goodness of his heart, but at least we wont have him working with brother blood.
>>

Just some Blood thoughts which might influence our future interactions with him:

Even when we were vulnerable to him, the only things he was able to do was cause us pain and enter our mindscape. He was unable to directly control our body or affect our mind.

He acknowledged our request for our memories as reasonable, but then turned it down. I don't think he was doing so because he was operating from a position of strength, but because he was operating from a position of weakness. If he could restore our memories it would have been in his best interest to do so, immediately, without bargaining. Our time as a Titan has been less than two weeks. Against the weight of a lifetime of memories, its very likely that having them restored would also result in restoring our loyalty to him. While he tantalized us with the shadow of restored memories, I believe that they were only illusions, like when he promised to restore Cyborg's body (which IIRC, Cyborg told Peter about).

Further, if he really could perform the kind of psychic surgery we're discussing, why couldn't he excise our tenure as the Titans in that moment, which has been under two weeks? For that matter why couldn't he simply implant loyalty to him?

The short version is I don't think he can, even at our most vulnerable. At least not at this distance. Up close is might be another matter, so we should avoid overextending ourselves in his presence, especially for any extended period of time.

Further, I think for the moment we should ignore anything he said about our past. Even examining our memories isn't necessarily reliable. If he CAN tamper with minds at all, he already did it before we awoke at the beginning of the quest. There might be some half-truths in there, but for all we know, he deliberately gave us amnesia with a false past for us to fruitlessly dig up as part of a long term plan to get us into the heart of the Teen Titans. Terra 2.0: Better than Slade's Plan edition.

So I propose abandoning our past. Nothing Peter can do will ever be enough to be sure. Whatever Robin might find through detective work, that's independantly verifiable is fine. If a skilled psychic like Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian or MAYBE Raven does a deep dive they might be able to sort things out. For now though, fuck it. We're Peter. We're 2 weeks old, and that's cool with us.

Also, I'd find it narratively interesting to abandon our past instead of chase after it

I don't know mate

Beast Boy - a karaoke set
Cyborg - the newest, most advanced burger grill (which he can immediatelly upgrade)
Raven - a really pretty chess set?
Starfire - a plushie, a huge cute plushie
Robin - he likes Ninja movies, so maybe a katana?
Jinx - Hair gel and pink dye
Kid Flash - Deodorant

Know what would be funny? Convincing the Titans to run a generic fantasy RPG game, with Pete as the master.

Robin - human fighter/rogue
Beast Boy - half-elf druid
Raven - tiefling warlock
Cyborg - half-orc barbarian(?)
Starfire - aasimar sorceror
Pete - human psion/mystic

I don't know what would be funnier, Kid Flash's reaction at the gulf between those purchase points, or Kid Flash's reaction if you gave him thousands of dollars in deodorant.
>>

Do you know how fast that "24h of protection from smells" goes away if you're at super speeds?
>>
>>2224013
Oh I get it, its a very practical gift. I just think its a little mean to repay one of the two heroes that saved us by embarrassing him. Also I don't know if we can afford the grill or the thousands of dollars in deodorant on our stipend.

MoG: if you're reading, what's our budget if we want to get gifts for Jinx, KF and the Titans?

We don't really know much about what the Titans like, so shopping for them is kind of tough.

Robin: Likes Kung-Fu movies.
Cyborg: Likes cars, technology, video games and action movies
Raven: Likes Tea, Chess, and Horror Movies.
Starfire: Likes cute things.
Beastboy: Likes Video games and Action Movies.

Clearly the answer is a netflix and hulu account.
>>

>>

Your monthly stipend is 1,000 dollars
>>
>>2224229
Damn Batman money.

Okay, so we have enough for Kid Flash's deodorant.

Also, MoG, when there are time skips (like the one-week one we had before) can you provide us the opportunity to auto pilot some stuff off screen?

For instance, it felt a bit weird that we'd wait a whole week before ever examining our [Sadness] powers, though I understand why in that instance you'd prefer to have that happen on screen.

I mean things like 'during this week, what does Peter do?' and the players could select from a list, and Peter would divide his time between the top votes (like, 'practice integrating your powers with martial arts' + 'work on your meditation to improve your focus' + 'hang out with Beastboy and Cyborg')
>>
>>2224266
I've kind of been operating under the assumption that you guys do most of that stuff during timeskips, and that voting would take unnecessary time
>>
>>2224280
Fair, though other than working on our barriers, it was a bit unclear what we were up to last time. No big deal though.
