I lower my shield and sway where I stand, getting ready to dance out of the way right before they smash me against the other trying to maul them. That doesn't happen, since they slam into me before I can really react to them, besides raising my shield to try and get some leverage to keep myself from being just completely stampeded. shaking my head as they break away, I try to step and twirl out of the way as they throw themselves at eachother with another screaming shriek apiece.

I shake my head, trying to keep focused from the emotions battling in my head as the puppets and Juniper and her "pack" of stone join the already chaotic fray.

"Oh hell poppet" the crow hisses, grabbing my hand "You really need to let loose"

"Let me cry! LET ME CRY!" the siren hisses, as tears rush under my feet


the crow sneers and tilts its head, trying to lift me off the ground.

As much as I like party crow, i'm guessing Carol is still not much of a party goer .

And then, it comes to me,like a slap across the face. I know exactly what I need to do here. Its so simple! they're creatures controlled by their natures, which is part of what makes them dangerous right? besides their....hunger for causing chaos. But since they're so controlled by what they are, it means you can exploit it. Just like a lazy old bull, all you have to do is push them in the right direction and you'll get results!

"May I have this dance?" I ask, pushing my hand up as the crow bawks and tilts its head in confusion, stammering and switching between joy and rage. Yep, just like I figured, it can't attack while it has a chance to party....I hope.

It throws up its other wing, flipping it as that odd music begins to play again. Then the puppets come falling down on it as it pushes me forward with a grin and I can't help but feel embarrassed. Its feathers flash pink and red as its three eyes narrow

"Don't trick me again and we can be thick, ya dig hon?" He says, tipping his hat

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!" the siren yells as water rages and rushes past us as she cries out and sobs "I'll killa ya both! just leave me to cry!

The music chances as he sweeps me up in his wing and grins again

"Come on, put some more life into it! I'll forgive ya if you enjoy it, country pie" He says teasingly "Move your feet to my rythm and we'll stomp the kill joy and make this a real party"

I grin, not able to stop myself from laughing. I don't know why but this seems....fun now! Which is odd cause I really don't like parties! no reason for them, but this is new and so even I'll see it as fresh for awhile. Yeah sure why not, Juniper and lyra take breaks all the time, so why not just take one short one and.

"Whoa Whoa!" the crow chuckles as I pull him down and away from the two axe wielding puppets, grabbing my scarf and swinging it around as it flies in the air and chomps a ball of tears floating above us before it snakes towards the siren. Okay that was close, he nearly got eaten and chopped to bits.

"hey don't ya know, some moves are only for men" he snickers "but what eves lets reinvent the TANGO!. GO WILD, SING AND HAVE SOME SNACKS, WOOO"

"Carol!" Lyra yells "snap out of it! we're in the middle of the fight! you out of everyone should know you can't let your guard down when..."

"Lilac, I have a plan" I say laughing as the crow crouches down and lets me twirl him around as he caws and falls backwards into my arms "Deal with the siren, and tell Juniper the same....also sorry I didn't tell you I was changing up the game plan so suddenly"

"And how do you get power?" I ask, swaggering up to him as he stays in place, bouncing, before he kicks a leg out and spins around, shouting and pointing up in the air "Sorry if I'm ruining the mood party"

"Bah, the mood never dies" He says, snapping and shaking hips and motioning me to do the same, which I do with no complaints "And by making more chaos, or taking it. Ya know, corrupting, hurting, burning....eating the orbs of other monsters but man that ain't me ya dig, I just wanna....wanna dance! sing! Love and PARTY!

"And here I thought all order girls were kill joys" He says almost proudly as I frown and Stop mid snap

"hey you weren't going to hurt those people right?" I ask as he stops, still shimmying his wings up and down, dancing to the unseen beat as I hear a horrible shriek behind me, followed by rushing water and moans of pure....sorrow. My heart breaks for a moment as I remember

The crow takes my hand and pulls me back

"ignore that kill joy" he purrs as he goes back to dancing, staring at the ground and snapping his wings "And course not, was just gonna dance till they drop, not till they die! difference! Wasn't forcing them to break their legs, just to....sway and jive to the rhythm!"

"And here I thought all chaos monsters were all violently insane!" I laugh as I grab his arms again and spin around with him as he lowers his head "Well isn't this a surprise, eh mr crow? want to spice this dance up a bit"

"But we are ya know, whimsy is the rule! I just desire partying more than.....well what others do. Not like it troubles these loveless souls much yeah?" he asks "My doing ain't destructive....till they make it so, not my fault. But what do you mean by spicing it up a bit?"

Oh the poor girl is scared out of her wits

"yeah?" I ask, still watching as Juniper tosses Lyra up and leaps at the siren herself shouting "STONE FIST" "But what's the problem then?"

"Well I just wanna dance some more, and she'll make it harder. But still I hate her, so why don't we kill her" He giggles, cackles and grins

"You know" I say, as I dance around him, stretching my legs, lifting them and kicking them before I stop them back down "you don't seem to like hurting people, so why don't you try order"

"Cause y'all are boring sticks in the mud!' He groans, sighing as he aggressively snaps his fingers at me "there's rules, laws, codes and all that boring crap. I just want to be the life of the party, hon!"

"But you have a queen" I say slowly and he frowns and stops dancing for a moment

"Eh, we do what we want when we listen to her and always aim for her throne" he says snickering "least I think we should"

"Well, still seems a little odd to me....hey would you like a name Mr Crow?" I ask happily as he pauses for a moment

"of course" He says, twirling and wagging his finger in the air "but the easiest way to get it is....not me, so I'll be fodder for someone elses! Shame, but I'll just live everyday until its my last"

"Yeah, you don't know so thanks for not assuming too much" I say, taking his wing again and frowning as we move our arms and legs in sync again "That's just depressing to me, ya know. Also you said I was fun, but you said all of order was a bunch of sticks in the mud so which is it"

I don't know what his first move is, but suddenly my arm is locked around in his wing and we're dancing in a circle, spinning faster and faster as his three eyes look into mine. The hungry scarf wraps back around my neck and licks my face as he tosses me in the air and catches me, rolling me down his wing as I try to figure out what I should do, stammering as I land back on my feet, and he starts to weave his feet around so quickly they become a blur. Trying to copy him I trip overmyself, he catches me and tosses me back in the air. Somehow just watching him is making me feel out of breath, but the way he's moving is making me laugh as he zips and zags around pointing his wings down at the ground and then up at me until he leaps and falls on his back. Kicking his legs up right as I start to plummet down after hanging in the air for a second or two, he begins to gently kick and juggle me, leaving me rolling in the air before he rolls back onto the feat and leaps up to grab my hand. I blink, stunned and more than a little jittery as he spins the two of us around like a falling leaf. We land and he kneels down on one "Knee" as he stretches his other leg back. I do the same, and nearly raise my shield as he leaps at me with a flying knee. But then I copy him and he grabs my arm and we lock hands as he collide and fall to the ground. I wince, gasping and holding my back as he leaps up and spins around me on one claw.

I try to copy him, and fall against him. He catches me and laughs "Oh country pie, you need some work"

"At least to keep up with you" I laugh as the lights come back on and he puts me back on my feet

"Well I have a party to go to! Come by any...oh right you don't know how to get to chaos, well see you around! call my name if you can!" He laughs "You know, what all party crows are called"

"Wait aren't you going to" I ask, pointing at him as I look around to see Lyra tossing a baseball sized orb up and down in her hand, soaked wet and looking miserable and rather...cross with me as I meekly smile, juniper is soaked and caked in mud, grinning widely

"She's dealt with meow" Lyra says, covering her mouth and hissing "HOW DO I TURN BACK"

"I dunno, you're funner like this!" Juniper says with a wolfish smile "And cuter, tastier"

"please tell me how to turn back!" Lyra yells, shaking me by my chestpiece as juniper giggles then frowns and tilts her head

"hey aren't we going to kill that one?" She asks, pointing at party as he continues his beat

"Nah, we're cool. Me and red are amigos now" He says, motioning to my hair, making me smirk

I notice her eyes going wide as she sees party crow dancing down the street, singing and humming to himself as he goes as all the people laying around in the street begin to come back to their sense and wake up. She reaches for her tiny rifle, and I grab her hand and shake my head and smile.

"Don't worry he isn't causing trouble right now, and is heading home. No idea why he's like this but hey...never look a gift goat in the mouth right?" I ask as Lyra yowls and wails in front of us, making my heart ache and hurt

"Its gift horse and what's up with her?" Holi asks, looking horrified "Did something go wrong! Why is she crying"

"Because she can't accept the truth of what she is and" Juniper says before she guts a handful of confetti tossed in her face

Yeah I can't stand this. I need to help her and...well now that crow is gone I don't really feel like sticking around near all the noise and stuff like that. I'd much rather stay inside and watch what happens inside my apartment with my friends so I can relax a little after a day of....hardish work. And it'd be easier to cheer up Holi like that! So its a win win.

"So what's it like being a cat?" I ask as I try and wisk the heavy and incredibly sweet frosting I'm going to top this three layer cake with....never had strawberries before so I really don't know how much of their juice I need to put in here to make it taste right but....its the thought that counts right? Beside if I get that wrong then the frosting on the little cupcakes I'm putting on the top should make up for it.. if only Holi hadn't rushed off to tell her friends about how cool this cake was going to be right BEFORE I started on the frosting.

"I want to say awful but it was more weird. Like, my head go emptier...hotter, my thoughts changed and....I became like a cat I don't know how to explain it. Its like suddenly wanting to scratch yourself or having an itchy nose for no reason but amplified. That's what the instincts were like....and water, it was so cold I hate it!' She whimpers, covering her head with the pillow "but then I realized how agile I was, and...its complicated alright. I don't know how to tell you what it was like, I spent most of the time scared and amaze, just give me some time to mull it around in my head okay?"

"Oh just need to finish the frosting" I say raising the wisk up and down as Lyra mumbles something about taking forever and turns on the tv. I look over and see Alexander on the screen, dressed in his armor and standing next to people who can only be the other millers.

I drop my wisk a bit, dipping my finger against it to get a taste as I keep my eyes focused on the screen.

"So who are they?" I ask, the scent of berries mixed with sugar and warm butter filling the air as I run my frosting coated finger over my tongue....odd taste? its not as strong as I expected it to be, but If I add anymore juice it'll be too thin and if I just put more sugar to thicken it up I'll have too much and....is it just supposed to be this weak of a flavor?

"How am I supposed to know? I'm from the past" Lyra replies as I sigh

"Well it doesn't hurt to ask" I say as I crouch down in front of the screen and frown. I know the girl standing closest to alexander. Its his twin Sister Vera, who seemed like a pretty good person when I met her once. Friendly at least and a little excitable but a good person from what I saw. A good sister to. I frown as I look over the rest of the Millers standing up on that marble podium covered in roses and colorful streamers. There's a woman with a dark brown hair and tanned skin, the only one who looks somewhat....well entirely human I should say. She is dressed in a red dress and has a oddly motherly air around her, looking more dignified than most of her relatives? Is that his mother the brausr or? no can't be, the way she's standing is more sisterly especially that look she gave the twins just now. I frown and scoot closer.

"Could you turn it up?" I ask as the green bar on the tv extends a bit so I can hear exactly what they're saying now, as my eyes fall on the woman who kind of looks like a bigger blue holi with long pale hair and antenna standing next to a woman with burning almost red brownish hair, with scales and glimmering metal bands on her arms.

"Yes it is an unprecedentated event today, the entire royal family has made an appearance to welcome back Marla Miller, one of the brausr's older sisters back into their family, along with her children and uh.....pack" the voice on the tv screen says as it moves over to a lilttle family with wolf ears and tails and piercing yellow eyes. One of them is taller and has a wary look in her eyes and wild black hair. She must be marla as she's the only girl I see there. Another looks around my age and is waving to the camera in an oddly patterned hoodie but... the other is sort of scrawny and hiding behind the other two. I can't get a look to see what's with that one before the camera switches and stops on a woman with the lower half of a massive spider hugging a colorful fluffy thing that blankly waves at the camera as well.

"Even the especially anti social Mizuki has come out with her siblings, must be hard for her" the voice says as Lyra shakes my shoulder

"Hey its bad to sit that closely to the screen you know" She says sternly, and warrily as I grunt and keep watching

"We still don't know the name of the royal cousins, but we should know soon once the festival starts and we can interview them" the voice says as it stays on the spider girl before it begins to move back over the twins and the other woman. I can't put my finger on it but

"Oh we just got word, the youngest miller Iris who has been on a trip lately with her fiance to be is helping her mother and....well other mother up the stairs to the podium, it shouldn't be long until they make their appearance and we can hear what they have to announce besides this wonderful reunion and"

I grab the tv stand, still staring closely out of simple curiosity and my burning desire to even catch a glimpse of my little sister and know she's safe and sound AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HAPPY

I keep my grip on the tv as Lyra struggles to pull me away from it, grunting and whimpering as she tries to move me even an inch. We she doesn't manage, because if we both fight monsters, that's mostly about magic it seems and from how strong she is, I can only guess back when she came from didn't have any manual labor because she's about as strong as Alice is. Now can't it pan down to the crowd, I want to see if I can spot Alice! Come on, I can see the Millers when i get to the festival! you can't see the crowd from the vantage point unless you can fly.

"Carol please your eyes!' Lyra huffs, panting from the struggle of trying to even move me

"Oh Yes, we can see the beautiful and gentle Maria, helping her life long love up the stairs" the voice says as I see a pale, long haired woman who looks like Mizuki but cleaner and a little older. She also looks entirely normal except for her red eyes and near snow white skin. I dig my nails into the tv. Surely iris would have her hand maidens or

"And here comes the brausr, helped up by her youngest, kind Iris and her Fiance uh....uh? Mah lee?" the voice says as my heart sinks and I let go of the tv as I see only three people walking up the side of the tv and sigh.

I look up hopefully and just see the heavily pregenant brausr waving to the crowd, her two tails twirling around as the patterns on her fur and hair shift and change....she has larger fangs than most of her family but not by much. She also looks like she just had her hair cut, because I remember her pictures giving her longer hair. Standing to either side of her is the girl I think must be her last daughter, a girl with bat wings for arms, and ears of the same, as well as a scaled tail and odd looking feet with a few black scales on them and....well someone who looks like they're from the show they make our adventures into but much more colorful and well....big? just all around big with four arms and two wings. But seriously why is she so....oh forget it

"look, they wouldn't show a servant on the report, lets just go to the festival and look for her, I'm sure you'd be able to find her. You're her big sister after all, you'd never mistake her face" Lyra says, trying to console me as I try to see if the colorful woman's face is weird too.

My locket begins to shake and point towards where I know to the center of the town, I clutch it and look back a the tv, frowning as I already know what's going on here. There's a chaos monster in that celebration, that happy family renunion and I can only hope its Party crow. I frown as the colorful girl looks at the camera and takes a very.....show off kind of pose, letting the camera see the entirety of her figure as I chill goes down my spine for....some reason I just can't put my finger on. I frown as her fiance tries to cover her up and she just smiles widely as her future mother in law gives her a look I don't see clearly.

I frown as Holi and Lyra try to get my attention or talk between eachother, I don't really hear why as the chill in my spine gets colder for no real reason. I must just be worried right? But, no this is the second face that looks familiar to me, really really familiar to me. But everytime I try to think why my mind just balks and turns away, like my train of thought keeps running into a wall. But I know...that face she has, its much to familiar. I know that face but. Why can't I realize where. I grab my head, seeing flashes of glowing red eyes in the dark as the word forget rings in my mind for a second. I wipe my nose.

There's blood on my hand. I look back up at the screen, yeah that colorful woman looks a bit like Alice or someone else related to me but. that can't be right, even if Alice looked like THAT! she'd still not be old enough to look like...well that. Still its disturbing how close they look. its unerving even but, whatever I felt and saw just now is connected to that. Felt like some kind of magic. But why does that woman look so much like Alice....at least face wize? And why did I get a nosebleed from realizing somethat obvious.

And why did I feel like Mizuki looked familar? that mali woman I could understand because of how close she looks too my little sister, so similar in fact its making me really uncomfortable but I'd probably laugh about it if I met her in person. Hmmm its a mystery, both why I got that feeling of Deja vu just now, and why there's a monster that resembles my sister or me for that fact. Yeah I'll need to figure that out once I deal with the monster and find Alice afterwards. Maybe she's had a laugh about it as well since she works so closely to her and that would be something both of them would notice and.

"Carol? Hey carol are you going to finish the cake?" Holi asks, tugging on my hair as I nod

"Tvs melted her brains" Lyra says, sarcastically

"I will, I will. Just need to frost it....and get to the festival, I think theres a monster there" I say angrily, gripping my locket tightly "Which means Alice would be in danger so"

"you go, I'll just finish it up. it'll taste better anyways" Holi says, as I smile and nod, rushing off and leaving burning foot prints behind me, not asking Lyra if she'll come to since I know she will.

"Mmm... Another rebel chaos monster? What's going on? They should be too lazy for rebelling..." Lazy Cat said as her claws crushed a wolf wearing cute sheep sleepwear, turning him into a wooden wolf mask.

"Hey! How are you doing that boss? Aren't they supposed to turn into orbs?" The chicken monster asked.

"I am the Boss, even if I ate all of you I wouldn't get much out of it. At my power level I need to corrupt whole cities or Magical Girls to get any more power. And this mask trick saves time." The catwoman said then stuck the mask into a weak dog monster, the dog monster turned into a big wolf woman.

"I... I got promoted?" The wolf woman said looking herself over. Then touched over the mask, that had fused with her face. "I am... I can almost feel like... just a bit more and I get a name!"

"Yes yes. Fail me and I will take that power away. Now go and make people want to stay at home and cuddle!"

"Woof! Yes Boss!"

"Oh can I have a mask too?" The Chicken monster after, for a Sloth monster that kind of extra power that didn't need to work hard for was attractive.

"Nah... not feeling like it." The lazy catwoman said then feel asleep on the spot.

"Typical of a Sloth boss... I could search her over for a mask but... That's too hard."

"Foul chaos monsters! You rampage of-" Before the Magical Girl could continue Lazy Cat stuck a Sheep mask in her face.

"What? A mask? Ahh... soo soo much wool... I feel warm... and tired... Zzz."

The Magical Girl, now a sexy sheep girl, felt asleep.

"That was... pitiful..." Lazy Cat removed the Sheep mask, changing the Magical Girl back to normal, only she had lost her powers.

"What? How? How did you take away my magic?" The girl watched with horror as she lost her Magical Girl transformation.

"I am a boss and you had like what... two days as a Magical Girl? The mask drained your magic to transform you, but since it counts as a power up, the locket didn't resist it."

"Are... are you gonna corrupt me now?" The depowered Magical Girl asks sounding scared.

"That would be disappointing if it happened like this but..." Lazy Cat then injects something in the Magical Girl left arm. "Enjoy being a fox girl!"

"What?" The dumb Magical Girl says confused as she grows red fox ears at the top of her head and she finds a bushy tail behind her. "NOOO!"

"Relax, you are not a chaos monster, just a regular monster fox girl. Think of it as me going easy on a newie."

"I... I am gonna kill you for this!"

"Maybe next time, bye foxy!" After saying that Lazy Cat and the chicken monster disappear.
