THE GALAXY IS IN TURMOIL!
Five years after the battle over the Forest Moon of Endor, chaos still reigns in a galaxy recovering from the chains of the GALACTIC EMPIRE!
Once a rebellion struggling for survival, the NEW REPUBLIC has risen to take the reigns of power, under the leadership of PRINCESS LEIA ORGANA SOLO and JEDI MASTER LUKE SKYWALKER!
Lashing out from MANDALORE, a very undigested BOBA FETT leads the ancient clans and uncontested warriors in a NEW MANDALORIAN UPRISING!
The ghosts of the Empire have not truly faded, either; GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN leads the IMPERIAL REMNANT in a war of reclamation against the New Republic!

In these times, fortunes may be made, empires may be built, and heroes - or villains - may rise! But every story must begin somewhere. Yours begins...
>On the fringes of the galaxy, struggling for survival in the Outer Rim.
>In the heartland of the Empire, descended from a loyalist family.
>Within the warrior clans of Mandalore, raised as a deadly fighter.
>A homeless trader's child, wandering the spacelanes in your ship, never settling down.
>Write-in.

Disregard all those assholes who think they can control the galaxy. There is only one constant, one pure state of being. Combat. Competition. War.

Heartland wins.

You grew up on Carida, the planet that plays host to the Stormtrooper academy. Your parents were die-hard Imperial Loyalists. Your father was a retired Imperial Navy officer, and your mother worked in Propaganda and Press Relations. You were well-off, but not stupendously wealthy. You were immersed in Imperial Propaganda growing up, but you were smart enough to see past it most of the time.

When you came of age, you...
>Joined the Empire, in the Stormtroopers/Navy/Write-in

You followed in your fathers footsteps, enrolling in the Imperial Navy. You were a TIE pilot at first, eventually gaining command of a Tartan Cruiser. You scraped through several engagements, proving your worth enough to graduate to command of a Victory-II class frigate. Then - Yavin. Disastrous, it sent the Navy reeling. You remained strong. You even earned personal recognition from Darth Vader over Hoth.
Of course, the glorious frontline engagements couldn't last forever. You were eventually assigned a routine patrol route. Naturally, the Rebs chose this route to raid. Your cruiser was boarded, but you fought off the boarding teams from the front lines with...
>A melee weapon and suit of advanced Imperial armor, that was your cargo

Marksman seems to have majority.
>>999149
That choice will come later.

Imperial ships had many, many, many sightlines. Long corridors, open reactor rooms, air ducts. You and a crack team of stormtroopers cleared the decks of the Victory. The scum didn't stand a goddamn chance - most of the time, they didn't know where the blasts were coming from.
Now fully aware of the dangers of being boarded, you began wearing a light set of armor instead of standard imperial officer battle dress. The Stormtrooper unit joined you, and became known as the Darkeyes.
Over Endor, your ship was boarded again, by a blind man - but this was no helpless cripple. This was General Rahm Kota.
In the battle with Kota, you learned you were:
>Force-sensitive, capable of controlling and sensing things using it
>Force-resistant, incapable of being affected or controlled by the Force.

Resistant wins, 5-3.

Kota was ripping his way through your men. Your fellow marksmen in the Darkeyes had their bolts reflected right back at them. You saw no other option - you charged into full-on combat with your vibrosword. The warrior monk that had been in play suddenly seemed merely to be a blind fool. Half a minute after you entered the fray, it was done. His last words:
"I couldn't... see..."
The battle was still lost. You:
>Retreated with the rest of the Imperial forces, under Thrawn

>>999465
It was a bit of an emergency. I can see that we like the idea of being an independent warlord, so here we go.

Kota breathed his last. You stood over his remains, the fury of battle still boiling in your blood. You rip his lightsaber from his lifeless hand, taking it as a trophy. You try to figure the logistics of taking one of his blind eyes, but decide for now it'd be more economical to simply slice off his head. Which you do, posthaste.
"Captain! The Death Star is down! The Imperial fleet is retreating! What are your orders?"
You smile grimly. "The Empire is a shattered mess. The 'Alliance' are fools. Set course for Nal Hutta. We will regroup and assess there."
You broadcast a wideband invitation to all the Imperial ships to join you. A Tartan Patrol Cruiser and an Acclamator assault lander join you, and you make the jump to the homeworld of the Hutts.

I'm not totally up to date on my star wars lore. For gameplay purposes, the Empire still holds Kamino, Kuat, the Maw, Geonosis, and a few others. Their main seat of power right now is Kuat, where Thrawn is massing their forces. It has been 32 hours since the death star went down.
>>
>>1000323
Thrawn should currently be in the unknown Region's Or at the very least pulling everybody their. Geonosis had a blockade but thats it and even then Death star was moved and they mostly killed'em all. Kaut and Maw well... Ones a strong hold and the other is not even known to most people.

Kamino should be free of anything LARGE and even then. They would more then be enough for us to clear and sense the Empire has more important shit to deal with...
>>
>>1000336
Except, Kamino is an important, if out of the way, Imperial planet. Yes it would be lightly garrisoned, but that garrison would include an ISD, with roughly 4 times the firepower of our little flotilla.
>>
>>1000264
>>We accept.
>>
>>1000346
>>1000323

The era of the New Republic

After the Battle of Endor, the collapse of the Empire triggered an economic collapse of Kamino and the production of clones eventually ended. The planet continued to survive on smaller contracts, often for warlords and criminal organizations.

Years later, Kaminoan Taun We would seek revenge against the Mandalorians who attacked them during the Clone Wars by hiring Boba Fett to kill Fenn Shysa, the last remaining Mandalorian veteran of the Second Battle of Kamino.

In 40 ABY, Boba Fett traveled here to consult his doctor and was told that he was dying. The only being who could heal him was Ko Sai, a scientist who had invented the accelerated aging process. She had disappeared after the First Battle of Kamino. He decided to hunt down Taun We, who had defected more recently. The current Prime Minister of Kamino, Koa Ne, offered to pay him to return Taun We's data to them. Boba Fett refused after Koa Ne would not pay his exorbitant price, stating that he would sell the data to the highest bidder.

Now as the QM you can change this yes, but the Empire had more important things to do then protect that. Mainly withdrawling and dying to the New Republic which just raped the death star AGAIN.

Battle plan.

Let's look over the schematics, scan for any weaknesses, the cargo/occupants, and also review the info for the marauder ships.

Also, who wants to take it for ourselves and who wants to just do it as she says?

We could also take some of the cargo for ourselves and tell her it was missing to make some extra $$$. Lets try to capture the guy alive to make more money

>>Form a battle plan
Remembering that no plan survives contact with the enemy, it will be more like an outline, denoting significant targets, attack vectors, and so on. Definitely including a briefing to our stormtroopers on the HVT and getting the TIE/sa fitted with boarding pods rather than torpedoes. If we can take the station with out blowing it TFU we can save on repairs, both to the station and our flotilla. We'll also need our fighters ready to go as soon as we drop out of hyperspace.

Yes, this is good. Perhaps while the battle rages on and the traitors are distracted, the Darkeyes (and maybe a couple more squads) can use stealth to board undetected and ambush the leader? It would be hard to pull off, but could be critical, especially if we gain control of the stations command center.
>>
You call your Darkeye squadron into the CIC.
There's:
Tearer, a massive troll of a man who wields an E-Web modified for personal carry.
Breezer. an amazing sniper with a knack for mobility.
Hitscan, a mid-range specialist who uses a jetpack
and Mortician, an insane sonofabitch who uses a shotgun and vibrosword to bring the fight close and personal.

You've also brought in your squadron leaders and ship captains.
You analyze the plans...

Something clicks.
"The Marauders are going to prioritize keeping us away from the base. Our Acclamator and Victory are large and loud enough to draw them away, and sturdy enough to keep the guns on them without withering. Our Tartan is fast enough to carry us straight into the base, flanking the base's main firepower concentration. We can run on a drift, canceling inertial dampeners and fire reversals just before we impact. Spacewalk into this auxiliary hangar here, and we have ourselves an insertion. We get to CIC, grab the traitor, and fire the stations own guns at the remaining marauders."

"Sir, the Solar Dodger could also grav-hook a dropship or two for additional troop capacity," says the Captain of the Tartan cruiser. "Let's do that, then," you say.

>What forces do you bring with you into the base?

>>
>>1000655

We have the following:

>>1000005
>>
>>1000641
The darkeyes, and additional high-quality squads. Enough to ensure our success, and then some.

But still- does no one want to take the base for ourselves?
>>
>>1000660

At this point, we don't know how well established the Hutt is...

If it is possible, I say we eliminate the filthy xeno and take her holdings...
>>
You have this: >>1000005 except 10000 stormtroopers.
You have 4 troop slots, 2 from the Tartan and 2 from the shuttles. every 100 men or 10 armor counts as one troop count. AT-STs count for 2 armor slots. You have as many Hero slots as troop slots. Right now, your heroes are the Darkeyes (count as one) and you.
>>1000685
The Hutt is respectable in terms of power. It would not be a good idea to piss her off, and the risk outclasses the reward.
>>
>>1000685
Ehh...wait until we get a feel for how high up she is in the Cartel and what enemies she's made. If she's a relative of someone important it could sour most of the Outer Rim against us.
Even if she's not, save removing her until there is profit in it for us, right now there is no benefit to taking her out.

>>1000641
>>1000704
Darkeyes+300 Stormtroopers, we'll command the space battle from the Gambit.
>>
>>1000641
Just send some stormtroopers. They are all going to die anyway.

>>1000660

Veterans can develop if a unit survives through a few battles. They are more powerful, specialized versions of their base units. E.G., stormtroopers can "evolve" into EVO Troopers, Shadow Troopers, Jump Troopers, etc.
>>1000733
This plan uses 3/4 of your troop slots, and if you go too, 2/4 of your hero slots (you only have two Heroes anyway)

No. Afton used his Force sensitivity as a means to harm jedi, even though he didn't really know about it until that Jedi he was torturing revealed he was and that Revan would "convert" him.he started obfuscating his mind with "surface" thoughts, which gave him a passive resistance to their precognition.

Confirmed.

You don your light battle armor. The tactical HUD lights up with information from the entire battlegroup. The Solar Dodger drops out of hyperspace a half second after the rest of the fleet. Just as planned, the station and the Marauders are focused on the Gambit and Carrion Hawk. One of the Marauders takes a full-on broadside from the Hawk, and a brace of missiles from the Gambit, going down fast. TIEs swoop through the combat, picking off the cheap dogfighters the space pirates are using.

The Dodger is quiet. All crew are wearing breathing masks and thermal gear, to protect from the cold of space. You drift silently for another thirty seconds. "We are under the range of the station's guns! Fire reverse thrusters! Drop boarding ramp! Go go go!"

The cargo bay door opens, and your accompanying 200 stormtroopers flood out, lighting their jetpacks. You fly out with them, your armor keeping you safe in the vacuum. The shuttles actually land inside the shuttle bay.

You spot a flight tower. It looks vulnerable to a well placed breaching charge. If you don't hit it, there's a possibility they'll raise the hangar shields, and worse, the alarm! What do you do?

We can clean up the flight tower after we take the station, right now its more of a liability than an asset.

Depending on the type of shuttle, it could be packing anything from the standard twin laser cannon to concussion missiles. So yeah, a shuttle can demo the flight tower no problem.

You field-check the power pack, scope connections, everything, while sailing towards the observation windows of the tower. Mortician hits first, planting the charge quickly and efficiently. I'm seeing 94, 95, 78, 91, 91. Good rolls, except Breeze isn't so legendary.

"BREACH!"

The charges blast inwards, blasting glass into the room. A Rodian and a Bothan fly out, suffocating. Mortician races in, and an Ithorian loses its limbs and head. A few humans scattered about take potshots. Breeze takes one of them with a bolt. The airshields go up, and you rush inside, blasting the remaining two humans easily. Tearer spins up and annihilates a Trandoshan rushing Hitscan, who in turn is having a shootout with a Rodian. He fires his jets, leaping over the cover the Rodian is using, and blasts her point blank, in the face.

"Clean work, Darkeyes," you say. "Hitscan, get on that console. I want more up-to-date information on the station."

Hitscan starts slicing the console. "Bad news, boss," he says. "Security is running here. I can get access to just two major systems before I'm locked out."

>Get me cameras and other surveillance.
>I want blast doors and other security.

>>
>>1001985

Do you plan to kill everyone on the station? I don't even think that we will control that much of the life support, and even if we did that would be reckless and wasteful. Plus, you're forgetting the tactical info. We simply cannot pass on that.
>>
>>1001997
>>Do you plan to kill everyone on the station?

Well no of course not, but I suppose it wasn't really explained to what degree we have control. My idea was to use the cameras to identify trouble spots and risky areas and either vent all the oxygen out of that specific area or drop the temp to freezing. Quickly eliminate a portion of our enemies making it easier to sweep through the station and take control.
>>
>>1001976
blast doors
>>
>>1001976
Well, it seems like a toss up for
>Droids, life support, other maintenance
and
>I want blast doors and other security.

So, I'll say
>I want blast doors and other security.

Gives us cover and prevents reinforcements from station security while we stack up for further breaches to the interior.
>>
Ok, since there's some confusion:
>Droids, life support, other maintenance
means control of air ducts, temperature control, airshields, and the basic droids that're slaved to the station (I can't tell you exactly what's on here).
>I want blast doors and other security
means the *security* doors, turrets, locks, how the station reads IFFs, and all that.
>>
>>1001946
>>1002101
>I want blast doors and other security

Droids are less usefull right now..even if there are few security ones we can deal with them.

Hitscan clicks his rifle to stun, and kicks the Twi'lek (a female, judging by the lekku) onto its back. She screams incoherent Huttese before the warble of Hitscan's blaster cuts her short. she goes limp. Breeze gets to binding her.

There's a large door which the schematics tell you lead into a main hallway, which branches to lead to the nearby hangar, the reactor core, and the CIC. The schematics also list a large automated defense turret in the hall, which may or may not have been powered on in the fighting.

There's a camera in the hallway as well.

Breezer has finished binding the Twi'lek. She sits it gently down in one of the chairs. "All good, Captain," she says.

Your TIE pilot skills come back to you. You order a hit from both sides, and as the shrapnel of the door and the droid poppers from the flankers fly, you open fire with the skill and precision of a trained Imperial soldier.

Left barrel fires, impacts, right, impact, left, impact, ricochet, additional kill. The fire from the turret blazes through the ranks of the B1s, until the droid poppers pop and the turret goes down.

But the poppers didn't get a single kill.

You stand. Tearer is looking at you with an air of "holy shit." Mortician and Hitscan drop from the vent, and kinda just look numb. Eventually, Breeze gives you a thumbs up.

"Well, lets get moving."

You charge towards CIC, stopping only to bypass another turret. You eventually get to the turbolift that should lead up to the CIC.

This is your LAST chance to reconsider before the boss encounter. After this engagement, mission ends. You can currently reroute to anywhere else you want.

The cameras of the CIC seem to be on a separate system that you can't get through.

The cameras in the hangar bay, though, show your troops cleaning up the last few B1s. You tab between a few; they've secured the cargo hold and the generator, but they're still fighting their way up to the command section, where you are right now.

"Alright, standard elevator protocols! Tearer, get that mobile cover set!"

You all load into the turbo, closing the doors. You don't like this - there are so many things that can go wrong with elevators in shootout situations.

You focus on the task at hand. Tearer has set up the cover, and has mounted his blaster. Breeze is set up behind him. Mortician is twirling his blade, hidden in the "corner" by the door. Hitscan has grappled to the ceiling, ready to unfold and fire from above. You stack on the other side of the door, opposite to Mort.

You hit the button, and off you go to CIC. The turbo lives up to its name, and the ride is short.

The doors whir open, and you see the space battle in its full glory.

The remaining two Marauders are on their last legs. One is now debris, from your opening volley; another is motionless, and you spot a few dropships attached to the hull.

The other has most of its aft section missing, and as you watch a volley from the Gambit turns it into space dust.

"Damn it!" screams a Bothan, standing on the commander's deck.

By dumb luck, all eyes are on the space battle. You have a chance for stealth, thank the stars.

He slips up to the Bothan, and takes him out with a single, well aimed hit to one of his nerve clusters.

The fires outside the windows fade. Alarms are flashing. Someone's gonna look at the leader soon.

You fire your blaster in the air for effect.

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Captain Janus Cain. You will call me sir. My forces have boarded and taken this base. We have destroyed your pitiful naval arrangement. We are in total control. But my only target was this traitor lieutenant. All of the rest of you will be spared - that is, by me. I do not control Lady Muffuu. Please, don't resist. "I-is there anything else I can do for you sir?" asks a Rodian in the pit beneath the command pedestal.

"Yes, actually - I want a full manifesto of people and cargo onboard, and answer a question - what purpose does this base serve?"

"Well, this base is a-a w-waystation for Lady Muffuu's smuggling operations. S-she stores her wares here until she has a b-buyer. She also routes the wares she has just purchased here."

An Ithorian hands you a holodisc marked "manifesto." You load it into your suit. On the manifesto, you see:

>352 Twi'lek slaves (Female, Adult)
>631 Twi'lek slaves (Female, Child)
>243 Twi'lek slaves (Male, Adult)

<Captain Cain! Good to see you in one piece! Since this ID is from my base, I assume your mission is complete?>

<Yes, esteemed Lady Muffuu. Your elegance's base is secure, with only minimal damage - most of the B1 security force is destroyed, as well as a window on a flight tower and a blast door. My crew has secured one of the Marauders with minimal damage, but the rest are beyond repair, I'm afraid. I'm sending you the manifesto - does this look correct?>

<Yes, everything seems to be there.Good - I was going to deduct any missing or destroyed items from your pay! Speaking of... where should I wire this?>

You give her the information.

<Splendid.> (+200,000 liquid credits.) <I'll transfer another 2,000 in there every month, sweetie. Thanks for the base back! Oh, and if you want a few barrels of spice or a couple slaves for your crew, feel free. I got the slaves dirt cheap, and the spice is medium quality.>

Yes, but quality assurance wouldn't be the best. remember, this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIuGH-Pfw1Y is how most imperial officers get promoted.

You are giving the Twi'leks the IQ test. Most are average, and then one solves it in (quite literally) record time. You give it to him again. Another record time.

"How are you doing this? Have you done this test before?"

"No, that man has. I can see how to do it in his mind," says the Twi'lek, pointing to one of your stormtrooper bodyguards. "You are scary. You are dark. I can't see you."

Well, hot damn, if it isn't a Force-sensitive.

Acquired: 4 capable mechanic slaves
5 capable fighter slaves
1 force-sensitive youth

The protocol droid returns. In tow is a Twi'lek woman, holding a toddler. The Twi'lek's face lights up when she sees Ritta. This must be Jora, the mother of the 3 sisters, carrying Sikka.

"The three of you, with me. Welcome to Imperial service."

The thirteen Twi'leks trot after you. Your bodyguard herds the end of the line.

You march all of them to the Gambit's medical center, for evaluation and treatment. Saffa is still there, sitting in the waiting room. Her mother bursts into tears of joy and grabs her.

Ritta hugs you - she's surprisingly strong - and says <Thank you, Captain,> in Twi'leki.

That's finally resolved.

It's time to get a foothold in the galaxy. You need:

Luckily for you, Crit fails do not take precedence until you're off of "tutorial island."

This form of warfare - breaking through dense fighter screens to clear the way to carriers - is what the Tartan Patrol Cruiser was designed for, and it shows. The Solar Dodger races into the fray, blowing fighters out of the way as a Wookie might brush away flies. The Carrion Hawk tails it, clearing away the remnants of the fighter force. It follows it to the first Quasar Fire and fires volleys, annihilating it.

Your Victory seems to be the primary target for the remainder of the fighter group. Your own fighter group tries their best, but can't fight off every bomber before they fire their torpedoes. (-5 health.)

The Carrion fires Ions and disables one of the Quasars, while the Solar darts around the last one, keeping its gunnery teams distracted.

"Volley on that Q, bearing 234 mark 452!" yells your gunnery chief.

"Yessir!" comes the cry. A brace of turbolaser fire and concussion missiles scream out from the Gambit, and slam into the last Quasar, which shakes for a few minutes before breaking apart.

"Sir, final Quasar secure. Our troops have the bridge, minimal casualties (Roll 1d2). Should we impress, scuttle, or sell it?

Your lightsaber ignites. You drive it into his shoulder. The Mon Cal screams in pain and terror.

There are hushed voices from the New Republic crewmen.

"Now, while you may /think/ you're oh so special because you killed another stupid superweapon,"

You shift the saber. The Mon Cal screams again.

"You are not. The dynamic is the same as ever. We are a disciplined, organized force of elite warriors. You are a mess of 'downtrodden' moisture farmers."

The Mon Cal is losing consciousness. His screams are petering out.

"Of course, the Empire was a mess, too. But at least it was a /successful/ mess. We had a war machine that spanned the galaxy. You had dumb luck and space magic."

You sweep the saber out, taking off the Calimari's arm.

"And yet," you say, holding the saber aloft, "I managed to take this as a trophy from your precious General Rahm Kota."

The Mon Cal is unconscious, passed out from the pain.

"Now. I've got a crew of good men, a couple million credits, 4 ships. And I am going to rip the galaxy a new one."

You kick the former captain out of the way.

"My name is Warlord Janus Cain. You will call me 'Lord' or 'sir.' Am I clear?"

There's a hushed murmur of affirmatives from the crew.

"I said am. I. Clear?"

"SIR YES SIR!"

"Good."

Honestly, it might not even be worth mentioning that the main fleet is coming.

We're not strong enough to defeat them, and telling the Govenor would prompt him to try and get us to stay. Also, a rebel invasion would help Stoke the fire inside imperial loyalists.

In the galaxy these days, a lightsaber, especially one taken as a trophy, is a powerful symbol - both of personal prowess and of relative power. Look at Grievous. Also, you aren't "specced" for anything yet; your fighting style will evolve and grow with your character. If you wanna be pew pew, then choose pew pew options. if you wanna do choppa, charge into battle. Your gear establishes what you can physically do, not what you're good at. You need a jetpack to fly, not to be good at flying.

We did that, and it's somewhat ill represented in the text what with you having us charge a jedi with a Vibrosword in our backstory.

The defense fleet is larger than our own, so we need her cooperation at the very least
>>
>>1007631
ok that was ONE TIME

But no, seriously, I wanted to show you that no matter what you "specced" in you could do anything you wanted. Being /focused/ on ranged doesn't make you incapable of melee.

You key in the code to add the defense fleet admiral to your conversation.

"It's actually Admiral Cain now, ma'am. Admiral Ciuret, greetings."

"Greetings, Admiral Cain."

You send the data to both of them.

Admiral Ciuret grimaces. "I have to say, it doesn't look good."

"But now we have their entire battle plan. And if we..."

>>

FUCK YES! This man is our new best friend
>>
>>1007770
well......thats convinent

so mine the shit out of the system and have an Interdictor and escorts act as bait to lure the fleet in, the rest of the fleets will Jump into the system once they take the bait, the interdictor will then drag anything with any serious firepower into the minefield either crippling it or destroying it
>>
>>1007770
We got the incoming route, have the eggheads on the dictor do the necessary calculations to pull them right into the middle of the minefield, the field should be about 5-10 miles cubed in size. Once they get chewed up a bit, offer them a chance to surrender and if they take it we'll deactivate the field
>>
>>1007784
why give them the chance to surrender?

we can send a message that Carida is ours and that the rebels dont get a say in the matter
>>
>>1007783
don't need em as bait, the dictor can just pull them out of hyperspace at range and will prevent their escape
>>
>>1007789
That and we may be able to capture a few ships for ourselves like we did with the Quasar
>>
>>1007789
So we can get their ships, get intel and maybe get turncoats as crews. I mean, thats what we just did for the Q ship

It's a very useful tool when hunting Jedi.
Really though. seance they can't "feel" us though the force sniping them would be fairly easy way to kill them.

"Alright, they're going to have to take this hyperlane into the system," you say, replacing your avatar with a system map with a flashing beacon. "Our dictor brings them out here, into a minefield that we lay. This area is perfect because their side-lanes are blocked by the asteroid field. We put teams of ISDs here and here, which will pincer in from behind and catch them unawares. Meanwhile, our newly acquired X-Wing squadron confuses the enemy. Hopefully we can get them to shoot at their own fighters."

You obtain landing clearance from the Academy officer, after docking your ships at the Caridan starbase. [Ships now full health.]

As you land at the Academy, you find it's as bustling as it's ever been. The news of the Empire's fall hasn't quite reached Carida yet.

The campus is large, and for having been designed by Imperial architects, quite beautiful. Trees are planted everywhere, providing shade, and the main square of the campus has grass everywhere. You see the vehicular training bay, the mess hall, the range, and the path to the barracks. It's impossible not to notice the very large weapons trained on your shuttle.

If you want to recruit troopers, you could:

Speak to the ranking officers, if possible we want to preserve the recruitment process as much as possible being easier to have the units just start taking orders from a new top than to go through the process of a purge especially with how much they are indoctrinated

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I suppose you must be wondering why I am up here talking to you know, news does travel slowly and though some of you may have heard something already I have an eyewitness account. The Death Star II has been destroyed. The Emperor and Lord Vader are dead, having perished in a Rebel attack and the Empire is shattered.

*pause for effect*

I am here not just to deliver this news but to offer a future for you. This is a key planet and a key facility, I know this because I grew up here and I know how strong we are. I have already crushed the Rebel probing attack on this system discovering plans for a follow up attack and my question to you is this. Will you allow whatever petty factions rise up to nip away slowly at us? To slowly tear down our defenses while we wait for news from whatever sycophant rises up to try to order us around? I say NO! I say that the only orders I would take from off world were from the Emperor. That no other could command our respect and with him gone I say we raise ourselves up. We assert control and order on a galaxy quickly losing focus and our armies march for OUR planet and OUR OWN Empire once again. Who's with me?"
