“Ok Lucky let’s see what you can do”, you say to the small creature.

He gives you a smile and leaps into action. First he performs a standard tackle charging forwards. He then stands still as he gathers some energy and afterwards seems surer of himself. He then sprays some water around him which doesn’t seems to do anything, though you guess the wet earth would make things harder for fire types. He ends it off with a small blast of water from his mouth.

“Ok Fe it’s your turn now”, you say to her.

She waddles over and smiles at you. First she shows off the ever popular mud-slap. She then moves on to head-butt a large rock in front of you. Suddenly she the rock and some others fly up and slam down together. She ends it all by charging the rock as if she was tackling and then raises a foreleg and slashes it with her shining claws marking the boulder. She turns toward you smiling with pride at her accomplishment.

So how will you train them?

You decide that you will work on your teams speed in the hopes that it will make them faster and able to strike quicker and more likely to dodge in combat. You line the two of them up and begin the training.

To start you have them run around the field with you, and that is where you meet the first problem. Though Lucky is quicker than Fe he is also more clumsy tripping over a lot of smaller rocks. As you move on to agility training and the issue becomes more noticeable. You arrange a small obstacle course and once again Fe has no issue while Lucky trips and stumbles.

Luckily for you are able to work it out so Fe is a bit more agile in combat and Lucky stops tripping so much. While you sit down for a while you see that Mary is waving you over. You stand up and follow behind her as she leads you to Evan and the rest of the group.

“Ok we have a couple of things we could do”, says Evan, “We could either go begin investigating the lands of house Hydros as any traders would have come through their lands. We could also head to the capitol, head to your village, or return to the city. Also, does anybody have any idea what we should do with the Ponyta’s and the gear we have?”

5 axes, 3 bows, 67 arrows, 2 blades, 2 aura katanas, assault ring, and 1 aura sword, axe, and Spear. Things not assigned will be sold unless said otherwise.

What does our inventory consist of? If we don't have a bow yet, we should take one and arrows as well.
One of these aura katanas would be neat, too. Distribute all of the aura and ranged weapons so mostly everyone has one, just in case.
What does the assault ring do? If it's neat, we should take it.

And we should return to the city. We might possibly want to drop the prisoner off in a regular prison. Or give him a chance to earn his freedom, if possible.
Additional troops might be useful, just in case Hydros decides to put up a fight. Go in sneaky, but be able to hit hard.

All of you look into the pile and each of you grab some items. You take the leaders aura katana with its sheath and assault ring. Evan grabs a bow and 20 arrows, and he also grabs the aura sword as a backup. Lisa grabs the other aura katana and 7 more arrows. Jonathan looks over the pile for a while and grabs a bow with 20 arrows. Elizabeth takes the final bow and the last 20 arrows. Mary takes the aura axe while Earl takes the aura spear, and Alexander doesn’t take anything. This leaves us with 2 katanas and a 5 axes.

“Personally I believe we should head back to the city”, you say as you get back to your planning, “If we do that we could resupply before we get into Hydros territory. Also, if we tell Lord Maximilian we could possibly receive some aid and possibly reinforcements”.

“That sounds like a good idea”, says Evan looking around, “So are there any objections to this plan”,

You look around the group, but it appears that nobody is opposing the plan.

“Okay then everybody let’s move out”, and with
that Evan leads the group to the Ponyta coral. You free the four Ponyta’s and baring them with you, with one of them having the prisoner slung over it. You make it over to the cart and begin the trip to the city.

As you all are riding down the path you begin to fall asleep. Suddenly you are jerked awake by the cart stopping suddenly.

“Hey guys look at what’s in the road”, whispers Lisa.

You look onto the road and see that there is a small Pikachu just laying by the side of the road. Besides him is a rather large pile of berries that look as if they were plucked from a nearby bush. The Pokemon is unwounded so you presume that it is just in a deep sleep.

“It’s a Pikachu those things are rare”, whispers Lisa, “Does anybody want it?”

“I would like to have it”, you say rising up from your position in the cart.

“Then you go on and catch him quickly”, she says.

You grab a couple of nets from the cart and throw one. Unfortunately it misses and hits the berry pile next to the Pikachu. The pile falls onto the Pikachu startling him awake. Surprised by the berries falling on him the Pikachu shocks the berries causing them to become cooked. The Pikachu turns to you glaring with its red spots releasing electricity.

You hop out of the cart with Fe and Lucky besides you. They take a ready stance and look at you for confirmation. It looks like you will have a fight on your hands now.

“Fe use mud-slap on the Pikachu”, I shout.

She responds with gusto and releases a massive wave of mud from her mouth. It lands a direct hit on the Pikachu, which causes it to be knocked into a nearby tree. Seeing how effective Fe’s strike was you call off Lucky. You quickly rush over to the Pikachu and pick him up in a net. The passed out creature doesn’t put up a fight and you put him in the cart. Grabbing some of the berries you hop in and Lisa continues on her way.

The ride is rather uneventful so you begin to talk with Lisa.

“Lisa so how have things been for you”, you ask her looking into the forest.

“Well I’d say that things have been going rather swell”, she says with a chipper tone, “I mean I don’t particularly like the fighting, but so far we have also been able to stay at the Lords fort and soon we will be going to another Lordship entirely. It’s all just so exciting, and besides the duty we have is an important one that I am glad I can fulfill. What do you think about all of this".

“That sounds nice”, Lisa replies, “Hopeful we can beat these rebels and do some more good for others”.

With that she returns her attention to driving the cart. The Pikachu soon wakes up and you hand him one of the berries and though he gives you a glance he begins to eat the berries. By the time you make it into town there are only 10 berries left and Pikachu is healthy and happy.

Evan seeing that you have all made it into town Evan rides over

“Ok so there are a couple tasks we should do while we are here. We should sell the axes, turn over the prisoner, talk to lord Maximillian, and gather some potions. So who wants to do what?”

“I’ll go get some potions”, you say hopping out of the cart followed by your Pokemon including the Pikachu.

“I’ll also go”, says Earl speaking quietly.

“Ok then”, says Evan, “what about everyone else”.

Everyone else chooses their assignment and begin to move out. Evan and Alexander head to the castle. Mary and Elizabeth go to turn in the prisoner. Finally Jonathan and Lisa go to sell the axes. You and Earl walk with Jonathan and Lisa for a while before making it into the marketplace and they turn towards arms and armor. You make it over to the potion shop and head into the store.

“Ah hello Earl”, says the shop owner, “So how has your journey been so far”.

“Well grandfather it has been harder than I imagined”, Earl replies, “Though I have already been more useful than I thought I would be. Thank you for letting me go grandfather”.

“Your welcome young one, all I ask of you is that you learn from this”, says the Shop keeper smiling, “Now I believe you are here to buy some potions, but don’t be expecting any discount”.

You have 51g and Evan gave you 250g stuff bought with Evan’s money is for the group.

You decide to buy 2 potions for yourself. You also buy 5 potions, 5 paralyzing poisons, and 2 antidotes for the group. You look over and see that al has bought 5 potions and 2 antidotes for himself.

“See you later grandfather”, says Earl as he heads out the door. You follow him to the door and head outside. Almost the second he exits the door his bag is stolen by a hooded figure who runs down the street.

“Hey that’s mine give it back”, shouts Earl as he chases after the hooded figure.

You place your hand on your knife handle and quickly chase after him. Fe, Lucky, and the Pikachu, which you think you shall name Lucia, are hot on your heels.

You see the two of them head into a small alley and you quickly follow behind them. When you get in you see the thief is standing with two other men. One of them is in a strange hood and has an eerie glow. Earl is standing with his spear out towards the three people and Flo in front of him.

You move to help him and immediately feel a sharp pain in your back. You turn around and see two more people in clocks just like the thief. One of them has a Crossbow and a Zubat, while the other is holding a knife and an Ekans.

“Thank you for arriving”, says the eerie man, “Hopeful you can pass a message to the Prince. Stop interfering with our business”. With that an Alekazam appears and takes the man away. The thieves begin to advance upon you and Earl. You turn to face the bandits that followed you and Earl steels himself.

Lucia starts the fight off by creating a ball of electricity at her tail and lobbing it into the Zubat. The electricity runs through its body and it immediately falls to the ground. Fe repeats this by releasing a mud-slap at the Ekans’ face taking it out before it could be a threat.

You charge at the crossbow man causing him to drop the crossbow as you slash him with your aura knife. However, when it cuts him he just gives you a smirk. At that moment you feel a stabbing sensation in your sides. You look over and see that it is the knife bandit who quickly moves back managing to avoid a water gun from Lucky.

From behind you hear a groan of pain and the eyes of the two bandits in front of you have gone wide. You give a quick glance back to see that one of the bandits has a large stab wound in his gut. Earl on his part looks unharmed. As does Flo who is dancing around a bandits Buizel and a strange human like pokemon with red scales on its stomach. Occasionally Flo uses absorb and steals energy from the Buizel. With renewed confidence you turn back to your fight.

“Lucia Lucky take out the red scaled creature”, you shout while staring at the enemies.

Lucia takes a couple of seconds before recognizing it as her name and uses electro ball once more. It lands a direct hit on the creature and Lucky adds a water gun to the attack causing extra damage taking out the Scraggy.

“That was a fools move”, says the Knife bandit as he goes to stab you again.

Suddenly he is knocked back many rocks which were summoned by Fe. However, you don’t have time for pride and as such you move to stab the crossbow man. Before you make it to him a great pain flows through you stopping you. The Crossbow man takes advantage of your weakness and slashes at you with a knife in his belt.

Behind you a small cry rings out and you look back to see Flo being knocked back by the Buizel. Earl tries to go to Flo, but he is blocked of by the two knife wielders. He manages to hold them of and manages to cut both of them.

“Hey, I’m your fight, eyes back here”, says the Crossbow wielder.

Behind him you can see that the knife wielder is getting up from the rocks.

Lucia goes to fire an electro ball at the Buizel, but he manages to jump out of the way. Lucky uses a water gun and hits the bandit who was stabbed by Earl. This finishes him off allowing Earl to move back a little. However he is cut by the other bandit and the Buizel manages to get another quick attack off against Flo.

Returning your eyes to your fight you see that the crossbow man’s crossbow is at your feet and loaded. You dive down, grab it and fire at the crossbow man. You manage to score a direct hit to the chest. The other bandit begins to rush at you, but is interrupted by Fe using rock tomb once more. This time however, things go much better for him and he is able to completely avoid it and rushes at you. Luckily you manage to dodge in time allowing him to run pass you and to his teammates side.

The Crossbow man has a look of worry and desperation on his face as he fingers the wound. He and his comrade begin to move on you with their knives readied.

Lucia tries to use the electro ball on the Buizel once again, but it dodges once more. The Buizel follows up his dodge with another quick attack on Flo. You can see the small Budew is on her last legs along with her master who just got stabbed by the remaining bandit. However thanks to Lucky firing a water gun the bandit was forced to disengage.

You turn towards the advancing bandits hoping to end your fight quickly. You raise the stolen crossbow once more and grab a bolt. Seeing the movement they begin to move quicker, but they are intercepted by Fe’s rock tomb. They both manage to dodge the attack, but for them it is too late. You raise the crossbow and fire. The bolt flies true and places itself in the chest of the bandit and he falls to the ground.

“Okay that’s it”, growls the remaining bandit on your side, “I will make sure you suffer for what you’ve done".

With a shout he rushes at you a lashing out with his knife. You manage to dodge his erratic slashes though he does manage to push you back.

Lucia ends the Buizel. I can't stand this guy. At all.

Lucia fires an electro ball, and this time she hits the Buizel. The electricity flows through the creature stopping it right in its tracks. Flo manages to get up and wanders over to help Earl however, it is too late. Lucky had already sent a water gun at the bandit knocking him back so Earl could run him through.

The sound of the bandit’s knife going by your faces brings your attention back to the fight. You keep backing up and to avoid his strikes which grow in ferocity. You try to put a bolt in the crossbow, but as soon as you get the bolt in you trip and fall to the ground.

“Ha, no more running for you”, sneers the bandit as he walks over to you, “Now you pay”.

He raises his knife, brings it down, and is immediately hit by a bunch of rocks. You turn your head and see that Fe looks ecstatic that her attack work. The Bandit manages to get up, but you can see that he is barely standing.

You raise your crossbow and aim it towards the knife wielder. Seeing your actions he charges at you. You kneel down aim down the crossbow and are about to press the trigger. All of a sudden he is hit by a large ball of electricity. You look behind you and see that Lucia is having a little celebration at being able to have taken out the knife man.

With the last of the bandits defeated you turn over to Earl. You see that he is standing next to Flo who is glowing. Suddenly a blinding light shines from Flo forcing you to close your eyes. When you look back you see that Flo has evolved into a Roselia.

“Wow Flo I can’t believe it you’ve evolved”, says Earl ecstatically twirling around with Flo. She wears a pleased expression on her face and hugs Earl. You manage to catch the scent of fresh flowers wafting over from her.

“So are you ok”, you ask as you walk over.

He turns to you with a smile on his face, “Yes I am fine thank you for worrying about me. I gave me and Flo a potion so we would be better. Speaking of which would you like a potion?"

He shakes his head, “No, trust me on this it is better if you take the antidote now. It will save you and everybody else some problems. I’m not going to move until you do so”.

Sighing I drink both the potion and the antidote. Almost immediately I feel stronger and healthier as the antidote and potion work to bring me to proper health. Flo seeing how her master was done raises her arms and Earl picks her up again.

“So what should we do now”, you say to Earl as you begin to walk through town.

“Well we should go report the incident to Evan. However, we could also go get the others first to see if they were attacked also. Either way we should move quickly and stay together”.

“Yes we did have an easier time thanks to me and my Pokemon’s psychic powers. With that we turned the ambush on them. So how did yours go?”

“We had a harder time from the sounds of it”, you say sighing, “Anyways, how did you original mission go”.

“Oh it was a success”, chimes Lisa, “we managed to sell the axes and made 80g. So what should we do now?”

Everybody else follows you and together you head through the clouds. When you make it to the prison you don’t see them so you head inside. Inside there are a couple of bored looking guards.

“Um excuse me”, I begin to ask, “The armored lady who came in with a prisoner and another lady. Do you know where she went or when?”

One of the guards looks up, “Her, oh she left a couple of minutes ago. She was saying she was heading to the castle.”

With that the four of you walk out and head to the castle. When you get to the castle the guard give you a look, but let you in. Once you are in the main hall you are knocked back, and you see the Elizabeth is currently hugging you.

“Hello Elizabeth”, you say before she manages to hug you to death, “Hello Mary. How did your task go?”

“Oh it was easy”, says Elizabeth letting you go, “We didn’t have any trouble with him at all. How about you all”.

“We didn’t have as easy a time as you two”, you sigh, “We were both ambushed by some bandits. Luckily, we were both able to win our fights. We even got some new gear out of it”, you say showing the crossbow and the three knives you picked up.

“Either way that is serious we should go alert lord Maximillian about his now”, says Mary as she leads you to the audience hall.

As you approach it you are stopped by some guards, “Entry is forbidden during a meeting come back later”.

“Fine then”, you sigh walking away, “I’m just going to go look around. See if anything interesting happens”.

“I’ll join you”, says Elizabeth as she rushes over to you.

Together the two o you wander off into the castle. The whole time Elizabeth stays fairly close to you the whole time. You manage to find your way to the currently abandoned training field. You sit down with her and your Pokemon join you. Fe laying her head in your lap, Lucia sleeping beside you and Lucky running around

She begins to ask you something once you sit down, “So how do you……

Suddenly you here a loud crashing noise from behind you and turn towards it. You see that there is a suit of armor that has fallen too the ground. Another crashing noise happens and the suit across from it also falls.

“What was that all about”, Elizabeth says as she moves closer to the suits.

The moment she takes a step the suits rise up. They hold tightly to the halberds in their hands and begin to advance towards the two of you with clanging steps.

“Please don’t be that”, Elizabeth mutters as she grabs some tags and Maria’s doll. Your Pokemon come to your side seeing the armors and get ready to fight.

Alright. Donn uses the Assault Ring on Armor 1. There is some ghostly thing moving them, I guess. Those should get hit pretty badly by aura.
Fe Headbutts the first armor in the chest. Let's make it fall apart.
Lucky water guns the second armor, making it collapse, rust or whatever.
Finally, Lucia gets at Armor 2 with an Electro Ball. Metal conducts electricity nicely, right?

Lucia and Lucky strike quickly with an electro ball and water gun. The electro ball hits first and causing the armor to reel back, and when the water gun hits electricity flows through the armor. The armor falls to the ground and from it a purple mist like with evil eyes emerges. The moment he is free from the armor he is struck by a dark palm ending the threat before it manifests.

You turn over to your target who is lumbering over to you and try to gather energy with the assault ring. However, try as you might the energy does not stay for long enough dissipating almost as soon as it is gathered. The armor tries to swing at you, but luckily for you Fe is able to intercept it with a head-butt. Seeing that the move was able to hit him the Gastly flees the armor.

“That’s enough”, suddenly shouts Elizabeth, “You can do what you want to me, but don’t attack Donn”.

As she says this she releases the energy she stored in her cursed tag and directs it at the Gastly. The creature falls a little after the strike, but it soon rises looking more determined to strike.

Lucky should Water Gun it.
Lucia should try an Electro Ball.
Finally, Donn should try to catch it with a net. A ghost type sounds neat to have. In case this wouldn't work, another Assault Ring attack would be good, too.

Seeing that the foe was weakened Lucia and lucky try to repeat their earlier feat working in concert to send an electro ball and water gun. The two attacks go forth in unison and fly towards the Gastly. Unfortunately, the Gastly manages to use the armor as cover and avoid the attack.

The Gastly begins to fly over to Elizabeth with vengeance in his eyes. She tries to strike at it, but it manages to dodge out of the way. Maria tries to assist her master by summoning the dark palm, but once again the Gastly proves too agile.

Seeing that the Gastly was almost on top of Elizabeth you try to focus the energy once again. This time you feel a buildup of cold energy in your hand. You let it build for a few more seconds and then you release the energy at the Gastly. From your hand comes a thin beam of cold energy which strikes the Gastly. Once the beam hits it stops right in its tracks and begins to freeze over. Fe sees this and decides to take advantage of this and hits it with rock tomb.

You begin to head over to Elizabeth to make sure she is fine, when the maid from earlier appears.

“Excuse me why did you damage those suits of armor and ruin the castle wall”, she says coldly starring at you and Elizabeth.

“Sorry we were attacked by some Gastlys that were possessing those suits. They managed to dodge some of our attacks which lead to the damage that was made”, you tell.

Sighing she says, “Fine, I just came to tell you that you are able to meet with Lord Maximillian right now. Try not to break anything else or keep him waiting.

The two of you head back to the main hall and enter the Lords hall. As you enter Evan sees you and comes over.

“Oh hello Donn and Elizabeth. Sorry we sort of started the meeting without you. Earl and Lisa already said what happened”.

“Yes, I am surprised that the rebels have agents in the city”, says lord Maximilian, “Over the next couple of weeks I shall have my men work to make sure that the rebels are rooted out of the city. Now as it is late I would like to once again extend you my hospitality and offer you a place for the night”.

“That is a generous offer which may take up, but we do have to head to the region of house Hydros. So we could stay here or begin the journey”, as Evan says this he turns over to face the group, “So would you all rather go begin the trip or stay here?

With that you are escorted from the room by some servants of his. They bring all of you into the main room and you consider the options that you have. You could either explore again, though with what just happened the servants ma not lie that much. You also could go train either your body or your Pokémon. Finally you could talk to somebody here such as Elizabeth.

We should always be on top of our training. If we can, we should work on our aura. If we can't, our pokemon would be nice, too.

You decide to head over to the training field and notice that you are being followed by Earl.

“So you are going to go train”, you ask him as you walk towards the field.

“Yes, I need to see what Flo can do now that she is a Rosalia”, as he says this Flo, who is currently is in his arms cheers and jumps down. “As you can see she is rather excited”.

As the two of you make out to the field Earl moves directly to a dummy with Flo. You analyze the options that you could have as your Pokemon run around you. You could train their team work as the Lucky and Lucia have been doing fairly well working together. You could also try to work on their moves with them on the dummies. Their speed could also use some work as that is always some advantage to have. Also, there are a number of things that you could do to train yourself such as crystal training, targets, or the dummy.

You decide to start off training your Pokemon’s speed. You guide them over to the field and create a course for them to run through. Lucia excels at the training running through the course with ease and is able to turn quickly to avoid attacks. Lucky is close behind her dashing through the course easily. This time he even manages to stay in his feet the whole time. Fe however, has a difficult time this go around. Though she is able to build up speed she is lacking the control needed. You make a note to work on that with her later and move to your training.

Lucia+Lucky are more likely to go first in combat.

You head to the crystal once again and place your hands on it once more. Once again you feel a fierce energy rush at you. You let the cold flow into your hands and fight it off. You manage to keep this up for a couple of minutes before you have to quit. You feel that you will have an easier time using aura to defend yourself.

“Sir, I am here to guide you to where you will be staying”, calls a maid from behind
you, “Could you please follow me”.

You call your Pokemon and move into the castle following the maid. She guides you to a room and lets you in. You head inside and move towards the wash room and wash off the day’s dirt. Lucky joins you, splashing around and having fun. Lucia is a bit more difficult as you have to wash her carefully lest she shocks you. You then dry off with everyone and give Fe a shine. Once all that is done you move into the bed and begin to sleep.

Cold. That is all you feel. You try to move forward, but your body is frozen and immobile. You open your eyes and all you see is snow. Snow swirling around you and under you. The snow is slowly building around you keeping you held in place. However, despite all this you feel a great sense of peace fall upon you. As if you know that this is where you belong. Suddenly the snow stops and your vision clears revealing…..

With the snow vanishing from the air you see that you are standing on an island. At your feet the snow has piled up deeply making it a struggle to even move. You look around the island and see a number of trees possessing needles instead of leaves. Then you notice something huge. All around the island is a swirling vortex of wind. The wind looks as if it could cut you if you touched and it is tinted the pale blue of ice.

You begin to move towards the center of the island spotting a large hill. You being to walk forward and notice that there is a path going to the hill. You follow the path which winds around the hill. When you reach the end of the path you find yourself standing before a small shrine. It is a rather humble thing coated in snow and ice. It is painted the same pale blue as the winds surrounding the island and seems to be made of the wood of the nearby trees. Placed front and center in the shrine is a small flute that seems to be made of ice.

As if pulled by some mysterious force you begin to move towards the flute. The moment your hands touch it you are filled with both a searing cold and a deep tranquility. Your hands begin to go blue as they hold the flute. You gently raise the instrument to your lips, your breath freezing as it gets closer. Once it touches your lips you play a single note as clear as ice, and as crisp as snow.

The storm subsides the moment the note rings out. The clouds dissipate allowing you to see beyond the island. To the right there are two islands. The closer of the two is also surrounded by a storm, but the storm surrounding it is full of black clouds and lightning. The farther island is cloaked in smoke and every so often flames erupt from the smoke.

Suddenly you notice the shadow of a large creature move across the ground. The shadow circles around a few more times before it moves above the shrine. It is then you notice something strange about the shrine. The way the roof is designed is formed is in such a way that a large bird could perch upon it. Then you feel powerful gusts of wind come down from above pushing you to your knees. They are joined by the sound of mighty wings flapping then it all stops.

You raise your eyes up and catch sight of a majestic Pokémon. Its tail glitters like ice in the sunlight and its wings are an ice blue. Upon its body is a spot of snow white fluff resting upon its ice blue body. Resting on its head is a magnificent crest in the shape of three joined icicles made in a dark blue. Its eyes are a dark brown and gaze into you, as if to question you presence. It raises its wings and releases a brilliant cry.

You wake with a start rushed out of your dreams. You examine your room and see that all of your Pokémon are asleep. Each of them resting soundly with content expression on their faces. You silently wake up and dress. Your mind ponders the question of the dream a bit longer before returning to your body. Once you are done dressing you consider what you should so to begin the day.

For ourselves, something aura related, if our pokemon are up yet, Fe might want to improve on her speed, while Lucky and Lucia might want to better their moves.
If we have to decide on one kind, it's moves for everyone.
Also, here are a few dice. Just in case.

Shaking off the remains of sleep and the dream you just had you wake up your Pokémon. They get up quickly and look towards you. You head out of the door with them following you close behind. You try to move as quietly as possible so as to not wake anyone, but it is not as quiet as you would have hoped.

Once you make it towards the field you see that it is empty once again. You decide that Lucky and Lucia have had enough speed training for now and set them to begin training their moves on some dummies. Fe sticks to her speed training and with you guiding her you see her develop more control allowing her to move faster. Lucky is also able to use the otherwise less than useful watersport as a method of distraction. However, Lucia is not fully awake and fails to develop any move variation.

Fe more likely to go first in combat.

Water sport now gives enemies a -5 for the turn after use.

You decide to one again work on defensive aura usage. You walk to the crystal and place your hands on it. Taking your memories of the cold in your dream you reach within yourself and release a fierce cold. You feel the roaring energy lashing out at you, but you stand firm protected by the cold energy. You manage to continue like this for a good while before you tire. You disconnect yourself from the crystal and feel that you have gotten better using aura defensively.

Aura defense rolls are now +10.

With your training done you rest with your Pokémon. From inside of the castle you begin to hear the sounds of activity. You stand up and decide to…..

After a quick break you move into the castle followed by your Pokémon. You head through the halls passing by numerous maids. They are all going about their tasks assisted by Pokémon, mainly grass types. They pay little attention to you as you pass by them. You make it to the main hall and walk out through the front gate.

As you make your way through the streets of the town you see that the town is waking up. The owners of the shops are setting up their shops and the smell of fresh bread wafts through the air. You walk through the town and make your way to the center of town.

Looking around you decide to head towards the source of the scent. When you find it you see that you stand in front of a small bakery connected a small eatery. Feeling a bit hungry from the training you decide to enter the eatery. Inside you see a sign that say Bayleef tea 3g, Oran bread 4g, Pidgy eggs and Oran bread 6g, and Milktank milk 2g. At the counter is a motherly lady who looks over and smiles at your entrance.

“Hello and welcome to the Petal Eatery would you like anything”, she asks with a smile on her face.

“I’ll have the eggs and tea please”, you say handing over the money to the lady.

“Ok then please take a seat the food will be out shortly”, she says heading into the kitchen.

You sit at one of the tables and look outside. The city streets have begun to have more and more people. Then you notice a strange man walk by the shop. He is a rather well dressed and has a fancy sword at his side. However, what catches your attention is the Pokémon that he has following him. It is a Massive creature with red spikes and crushing jaws.
The man stops at the shop and says something to the creature. It nods and lies down on the street outside the shop as the man walks in. It is then you notice he has a second Pokémon a blue creature with a fishtail that resembles an Eevee.

“Hello, madam could I please have the milk and 3 orders of bread please”, he says to the lady handing her the money and sitting down.

“Yes though you it will come after him milord”, she says with a worried look on her face.

“Oh I have no problem with a little bit of waiting as long as you remove the milord part. Despite my attire I am no lord. Just a humble working man with a spot of luck”.

With that he turns over to you looking you over for a couple of seconds. You look back at him causing him to smile and laugh. The lady returns with your food and he walks over to your table.

“Well you’re a rather interesting person. Tell you what if you ever are in Marina, which is the capitol of Hydros if you didn’t know, and need help say that you are under the protection of Garren Rouge. That should net you some assistance”.

With that the lady comes in with his order and he downs the milk. He hands a slice to the blue Eevee and takes the other two for himself putting one in his mouth. He then walks out giving a wave leaving you to your meal.

You begin to dig into the food, and are struck by the flavor. The Oran berry bread has a delightfully sweet flavor which helps you with the eggs which though hearty aren’t as tasty. The tea is rather strong with an aroma that wakes you up and a taste that gets you moving. With your meal finished you head back to the castle and see that everyone is a wake and ready. Together you all begin on the road to Hydros.

The group heads out from the city on the main road. As we move on I learn that we are taking a path that goes through the town to get to Marina. You remember that you have to get the money from the potions to your mother and hope it will give you the chance.

The cart ride is rather quiet with Evan and Alexander riding in front of the cart and Mary riding behind it with the other two Ponyta following behind you. Earl is playing with Flo with you in the cart while Elizabeth is sleeping clutching Maria’s doll. Jonathan is with Lisa at the front of the cart with Juno and Isis on his lap.

The group manages to make good time and makes it to the forest quickly. You are soon beset by the sounds of Pokémon in nature. From the sounds of buzzing bugs to chirping birds it is all calm and peaceful sounds of nature. Of course, however, it does not last.

“Could you please fly away”, says Earl swatting away a Combee who was bothering Flo. The Combee ignores his pleas getting closer and closer. Flo does not take kindly to the intrusion and waves at the creature revealing thorns. When it gets to close when lashes out at it striking it with the thorns. Angered the Combee gives a cry and ten more of the all show up floating around menacingly. Seems like they want a fight.

Lucia and Lucky fire their attacks in unison at the massive swarm. However the swarm just opens up allowing the attack to go through. Fe tries to join the attack with a rock tomb, but they just move around it. You try to capitalize on their attacks by using a net but they blow it away. The swarm does the same for the attacks of Evan, Char, Drake, Alexander, Elizabeth, Maria, and Earl. Seeing her master’s failure Flo gets a determined look on her face and uses absorb. It manages to hit one of the Combees, but it does little. Luckily Lisa and Digger have more luck with digger hitting Flo’s Combee knocking it out and Lisa taking out another one.

“I can’t get a read on them”, shouts Jonathan, “Their minds are so alien”.

“Stop whining”, shouts Mary raising her axe, “There shall be no excuses. No matter what the foe fight on”.

With that she and Storm release a massive burst of electricity and strike down the whole horde. Before you can celebrate however 15 more show up ready to fight.

Damn. There must be a nest somewhere. Tell me, would defeating (and possibly capturing) their queen make them surrender their fight? Also, would they follow their queen if she was to follow us?

For now, Donn should try to net another one. (And remember to pick up the blown away one. Nets are expensive)
Fe should join the fray with another Rock Tomb.
Lucky should Water Gun one.
And finally, Lucia might want to try another Electro Ball. Not giving up on this.

Your Pokémon try to strike at the horde again, but they manage to dodge it by opening the horde to let it pass through. Evan and Char both fling fire at the horde taking out two of the Combee’s. Lisa tries to hit a Combee with her bow, but she misses forcing Digger to knock it out with a quick attack. Alexander goes to strike Combee with a thunder, but misses leading to Drake striking it with a gust. Elizabeth and Maria also move to attack with Maria missing and Elizabeth striking a Combee with cursed night shade. Flo also manages to land absorb on a Combee that Earl fails to hit.

Seeing that the Combee was wounded you throw a net over it. The net drags it down allowing for its capture. With the Pokémon taken down Mary orders Storm to strike with a discord. Once again it takes them all down.

With the Combee taken out you move to collect the Pokémon when the buzzing begins anew. Suddenly 20 Combee come from the woods and behind them comes a Vespiquen. She glanced her shining eyes on you and you sense a great rage within them. She raises her arms and the swarm begins to charge you.

We have to take out the queen to end this. But a massive horde of Combee would be nice. Can we take the Vespiqueen, too?
If so, Donn should net it, too. Otherwise, he should Assault Ring it.
To weaken it sufficiently, Fe should give it a nice Rock Tomb.
Lucky should help us out by Water Sporting the swarm. Might help with electrocuting them, too.
Lucia might as well try to Electro Ball it. Take down the boss to make the grunts tremble with fear.

Lucky uses water sport flinging water into their eyes just as you trained him. Seeing how the Pokémon were disoriented Lucia takes advantage of it and strikes the Vespiquen. The electro ball hits her squarely knocking her back. Fe follows the attack with a rock tomb immobilizing her. You then decide to net her trying to catch her. The net lands tying her up further and she begins to struggle.

With the Vespiquen tied up the horde begins to attacked confused and erratically. Taking advantage of this Lisa fires an arrow at a Combee taking it out as Digger takes another out with a quick attack. Alexander takes out one with a thunder and Drake takes one with a gust. Char fires off an ember at the horde taking one out, while his master sends a blast of fire taking one out. Earl and Flo attack the same Combee with an absorb and spear strike. Elizabeth uses a curse tag knocking one out one. However, Maria misses and falls landing in the dirt. Seeing the horde mostly done Mary and Elizabeth release a wave of electricity knocking the rest out.

You walk over to the Vespiquen and the she stares at you. As you approach the Vespiquen she looks at you warily.

“She says as you have bested the queen the hive is yours to rule”, calls Jonathan looking at you.

“Well could you tell her that she can continue to rule under me”, you reply looking her in the eyes. Suddenly her eyes widen in confusion and she tilts her head while looking toward you.

“She says she is confused, but she agrees and is thankful for your mercy”, says Jonathan looking tired, “Also, remind me to not talk to bugs it hurts”.

With that done you grab the nets and continue on your way. The Vespiquen, which was healed by a potion from Earl, flies in front of the cart which now holds the remains of her hive. When you walk into town Lisa calls the group over.

“This is everyone’s share of the money from the weapons we sold”, she says as she hands everyone 10g giving you 21g.

“Ok after that we should take a quick break here”, says Evan.

“Fine then you all can head to my families clinic”, says Jonathan.

Is there anyone we're especially close to by now? It doesn't feel like it very much. So we should take our regular friends with us. Jonathan and Lisa. If he wants, Evan too. Gotta show our mom how much we have grown in skills and aquaintances.
Should we still have time afterwards, we should head to the ranch to spend some Possible couple? time with Lisa.
Afterwards, we should go to the clinic to get our Combees fixed up.
All of this is sorted by importance. Whatever fits our time frame.

“Hey Jonathan, Lisa would you like to join me as I visit my mother”, you ask the two of them.

“No thank you I have work to do at the clinic”, says Jonathan shaking his head.

“I also can’t”, says Lisa looking sad, “I have to tell my parents what I’ll be doing from now on”.

“Ok then”, you say turning to Evan, “How about you Evan would you like to go?”

“Thank you for the offer”, says Evan, “However, I must meet with the local nobles”.

“Its fine”, you see turning, “See you all later”.

With that you head down the path to your family house. Your Pokémon walk beside you with Fe leading the way down the familiar path. Lucky and Lucia follow behind looking around curiously. Farthest behind is the Vespiquen who looks uncertain as she follows you. Then you see your familiar house with your mom standing outside with Geisty waving at you.

“Hello Donn you certainly took your time”, your mom says as you hand her the money.

“I’m sorry mother I had to stop some hunters and have joined the Prince’s guard”, you say smiling sheepishly.

“Really Donn only you could do something like this”, she says smiling, “So who are your new Pokémon?”

“Well the first one I got is Lucky and I don’t know exactly what Pokémon it is, but it is a water type. I found him when we were fighting the rebels. The Pikachu is named Lucia whom I caught recently. Finally, this is…..

“This is Rhiannon”, I say pointing to the large Creature causing her to move her eyes to me, “I just caught her on the way her”.

“That’s rather impressive son”, mother says as she moves over to examine all of my Pokémon. She goes to each of them one by one. She rubs Fe’s head causing Fe to beam while being examined by her. She moves onto Lucky and rubs his belly causing him to calm down as she looks him over. Moving over to Lucia, also giving her a belly rub as she releases some sparks. When she moves over to Rhiannon she raises her hand, but she moves back buzzing.

“Ah I can see that you just caught her”, she says looking back at you, “She maybe a bit difficult to train for you. However, I believe you can train her well.” She steps back and takes a look at you waving for Geisty to head inside. “I’m very proud of you son for doing these things”, she says beaming, “I hope that you stay true to yourself and follow the path that you choose. Now for a going away present”, as she says this Geisty returns holding a two glass flasks. “In those flasks is a liquid that can be used to revive Pokémon and each bottle has two uses. Use them well and take care my son”.

With this she hugs you and watches as you begin to walk to your new life. You look back once you hit the forest’s edge and wave to her before moving on. Walking rather quickly you manage to make it back rather quickly. When you return to the square you see Mary waiting with Storm by the cart. As not everyone is not here yet you decide that there should be time for one more thing.

We got a load of new Combee. Some got hurt pretty bad. We should get them looked at.
In case they are alright and we know already, we should talk to Mary. There might be interesting information. Or other kinds of awesomeness.

“No not at all”, she replies walking over to you, “I was just watching the cart while everyone else was away. If we go over there it would be no problem, in fact I‘ll drive it. But, first a question why are you going to heal them?”

“Well”, you begins as climb into the front of the cart with her, “they are Rhiannon’s hive and since they serve her they should be able to help us. Besides they obey her and based on what she said to Jonathan she seems rather honorable so she most likely won’t go back on her word”.

“If you say so”, she replies.

After a couple of minutes you see the clinic with a couple members of the group waiting outside it. You quickly move inside and see Jonathan and his family healing Pokémon.

“Hello”, you say as you enter, “could you please heal the Combee’s in the cart?”

“That should be rather easy for us”, says Jonathan’s father as he leads the family outside. They begin to lay hands on all the Pokémon as Jonathan’s parents Pokémon use heal pulse. Soon the Combee’s are all buzzing around Rhiannon and she looks at you buzzing happily.

Soon Lisa comes running along and the group begins on the way again. As you leave the village you are filled with excitement at the prospect of going to a new territory. You look out of the cart and lay back as Fe, Lucky, and Lucia lie in your lap while Rhiannon hovers beside you.

As you ride through the forest you begin to relax. The Pokémon in your lap having fallen asleep on top of you. The buzzing of the Combee’s and the scent of honey helping to put them asleep. Rocked by the movement of the cart you wake you fall into a deep and peaceful sleep alongside your Pokémon.

When you wake you notice that you are at the edge of the forest with a river beside it. You begin to ride out when you are surprised by an odd sound coming from the forest. The sounds gets louder and louder until you her bushes rustling. From the bushes emerges a group of 5 kricketunes who wave their arm blades at you. You try to move quickly when the sound of splashing interrupts distracts you.

From the river emerges a Ludicolo followed by 4 Lombre’s. They move closer to you growling at both you and the Krickitune’s. It looks like you are trapped between two enemy forces.

Well, this looks... questionable. But since we already got a bug type, Say, is there a limit to the amount of Pokemon we can have? There is no artificial storing system and such...
we should mess up the Kricketune. Maybe this will gain us the Ludicolo's favour.

Donn shall Assault Ring one of the Kricketunes.
Fe shall Rock Tomb another one.
Lucky shall Water gun another one.
Lucia could Electro Ball a third one.
Rhiannon should keep our back protected against the Ludicolo with a defend order.

Also, we should tell our group to focus on the Kricketune. Maybe we can solve this with half the amount of fight.

“Guys we should take the Kricketune’s out first you say jumping out of the cart”.

You raise your hand and focus your aura in the ring. You wait till you feel the cold and send it at the Kricketune leader. Unfortunately, he manages to dodge out of the way letting the blast hit the wall. Luckily his aids are not as lucky as Fe manages to hit and cover one in rocks. Lucky and Lucia also manage to hit the two Kricketunes in the back. Rhiannon uses defense order and goes behind you facing the Ludicolo and his lackeys with some Combee aid.

Jonathan and his Pokémon preform a joint strike on the Kricketune hit by Lucky. It stumbles allowing Lisa to fire an arrow at it finishing it off. Digger then moves in to hit the Kricketune under rocks with a double-slap hitting it three times finishing it off. Mary then charges in on Storm and Lucky’s foe with strike from her electric charged axe. Alexander brings down a thunder on the Kricketune behind the leader followed by Maria and Flo striking him finishing it off.

Unfortunately, the luck stops there as Evan and Char are hit with two bubbles from behind. You turn to look at behind and see that the Ludicolo has fallen over and is rolling around with anger. Drake treis to hit the Kricketune leader, but misses his gust. Elizabeth and Earl also fail their attacks leading to Earl getting hit with a fury cutter. Two other Lombres try to hit Earl and Maria, but they miss fortunately for them.
