You know you could crush this dummy with ease, but you don't, because you exhibit control and understanding of the power you weild.

And Sensei Ko would be mad if you broke it.

You look around the small training are located just underneath the area where the final part of the Chunin Exams are taking place. Punching bags, salmon ladders, all manner of training equipment lies around you, ready to pump you up. But you're already pumped up. You've been pumped up for the better part of a month. In a few moments time, you'll finally be able to show off your hard work, all your training and dedication, in front of a large audience no less. And you'll be doing this while fighting possibly one of the harshest opponents you've ever faced, Agon of the Cloud.

You hear the door open and turn to see your Sensei and teammates enter, you Sensei carrying a duffle bag with him. "Hiki, are you ready?"

"Yes Sensei Ko." You say, nodding. Kori rushes up and gives you a big hug, Bebikaur wriggling up your back to wrap herself around the back of your head.

"We'll be rooting for you Hiki!" Kori says, tears in her eyes. "You show that Cloud butthole what you're made of!"

"Moooooo! Tear him asunder!" Bebikau says, slamming her hoof into her...other hoof.

"I shall exhibit nothing but 100% of my abilities out there." You say, clenching your fist. You watch as Sasu walks forward, holding out a pair of dark sunglasses to you. You raise a brow in confusion.

"That Agon dude, he don't know you know about his tricks right? So instead of goin' out there with yer' eyes closed or with a rag over 'em, wear these. They're dense, can't see through 'em." He looks down at his feet a moment, before sighing. "Make sure you win man. Last thing we need is for your sister to end up tearin' the dude's head off in a tantrum."

"Actually she'd more than likely turn him into a bloody smear," You say, putting the glasses on and seeing that, just as Sasu said, you can't see a darn thing. You take them back off, for some reason Kori, Bebikau, and Ko's eyes widening before they tried to hide their giggles. Odd. "But I promise to win Sasu, if only so that Suzu doesn't try to go after the Raikage as well. Peace must be preserved."

Sasu grins, casting a small smirk to wards the others who just glare a little at him. Hmmm. "Well, that's all I needed to hear from ya' man, go kick his ass."

You nod, then start to head to wards the actual fighting area only for Ko to stop you. "Hiki wait, there's one more thing you need before you go." Ko Sensei reaches into the duffle bag and pulls out...You can't help but smile, and Ko notices it right away. "So, what do you think?"

"It look incredible." You say, taking the flak jacket from your Sensei and admiring it. The mark of a true shinobi from the Leaf, you honestly hadn't realized how important this day was until you felt the weight of this jacket in your hands right now. You slip it one, admiring how you still get to have plenty of movement in your arms, plus the added guards to your neck are nice, not like anyone would want to get that close to you though.

You look at your three teammates, all of them smiling at you, Ko Sensei has so much pride beaming off his face it's almost blinding. You bow to them, it's the only thing you can think to do. "Thank you, you don't know how much I appreciate it." You then turn, heading out of the room, trying to keep the tears at bay.

Before you arrive to the actual fighting area you make sure to put on the glasses, and even though you can't see anything with your eyes, you can still see stuff with your other senses. Almost like the world is full water, and the movement of everything is ripples. Which is why, walking down this long dark corridor, you can sense Agon before you actually see him. "What do you want?" You ask, stopping as he smiles at you from the darkness.

"Just wanted to ask you something before we go out there and beat each others brains out." You tilt your head, waiting patiently. "Do you bleed?"

The two of you enter the arena finally, the bottom part looking more like an open wilderness than something inside of the Village. The walls around you are raised up high, and you can see hundreds of people watching you. Or rather, you can sense them watching you.

"Bout time you two cough showed up." Hayate says, holding his clipboard in hand as you and Agon step forward. You can feel the other contestants confusion as they stare at the two of you, and the flak jackets that you wear. You turn to Gaara, waving to him and getting a wave back, as well as a wink from Temari. Kankuro just ignores you. Rude. "Alright kids, listen up. As you can see two of our contestants went ah-cough-ahead and became Chunin while the rest of your were sleeping."

"No." You say, causing several people to fall over in surprise. Why is that even a thing? You turn to Agon, who turns to you as well, that grin of his throwing your senses off for some odd reason. You hold out your hand. "I'm looking forward to a hard fight Agon."

He grasps your hand as well, and you feel a hot, burning sensation crawl up your arm before it starts to cover your whole body. It's all you can do just to stand still and not keel over. "You do Hiki." He says, then lets go of your hand. Immediately the burning sensation is gone, and you're back to feeling normal as Agon walks over to his side of the arena.

You flex your hand a bit, frowning at what just happened, ignoring the Genin as they exit the arena, just barely nodding to them. Strange, it felt like fire was covering you there for a second. You feel a rustling in your shoulder, but luckily Tesshin doesn't poke his head out, either because he's being sneaky or because the extra weight of the flak jacket keeps him down. "Psst, Hiki! You gotta' listen to me kid!"

"What advice do you have for me Tesshin." You say, walking to your end of the arena before turning to face Agon, who's busy cracking his neck. "Is it some ancient Tetsu art that you felt I wasn't worthy to learn until this moment?"

"No you fuckin' idiot, it's about Agon." You can...wait is Tesshin shaking? What about Agon could leave Tesshin of all people shaking? "Kid, you need to either end this quickly or give up, I finally figured out why that Agon kid's been bugging me for so long."

You know you shouldn't....but. "Then show me how it's done." Immediately you feel something heavy slam into your stomach, knocking the wind out of you. He...he was faster than you could keep up with! You sense that Agon palm now grips the front of your jacket, his face brought mere inches away from your own.

HIs knee, it's actually got bone sticking out. You walk out of your crater, listening to the shocked gasps and cheers coming from the stands as Agon glares at you, only to start grinning a second later. Oh joy! He's having fun too! "Got me pretty good Hiki, pretty sure if I was anybody else I'd be out for the count right now." He slowly reaches down to his knee, gripping the blood soaked thing with both hands. You watch in amazement as Agon rips his entire leg, from the knee down, off, tossing it aside and causing a couple people in the audience to vomit. "You know, human beings aren't lizards." You state, walking forward. "Our limbs don't grow back." Then you stop, noticing something.

"Mine do." He says. "ARRRRRGHHH!" You watch as an entirely new seems to just, shoot out of Agon's open wound. But it looks different from before, it's covered in red scales that glisten with mucus. Again, you hear people throwing up. Agon is panting heavily though, so as amazing as this is, you realize you've got pretty much an open target to pound on right in front of you.

"Tesshin, the Iron Witches technique, it's time!" You feel like you're boiling alive! All of the excitement, it's actually getting to you! You unzip your jacket, tossing it aside carelessly as dark iron limbs sprout from your back, with fingers like claws as you begin to rush to wards Agon, who just smiles right back at you. This is what needed, someone to fight without having to worry about how the Village would react, someone who wasn't part of a mission! Someone who you could just throw down with, and enjoy yourself! "AGON!" You shout, already starting to throw punches so fast that they must be a blur to everyone but the most highly trained watching.

"HAHAHAHHIKIIIIIIIIIIIII!" He shouts back, throwing his own punches.

The two of you collide so hard that there's a shockwave, your fists matching each others with each punch! You can feel it, the driving hunger that you've been unable to find anywhere else, the thing you've only felt one other time! When you fought Reptile, and you snapped his neck! You don't have to hold back with Agon, he's strong, he can take it! You're living in a world of cardboard, and standing right in front of you is the only man made of diamonds!

"ORAORAORAORAORA!" You shout, increasing your speed till you break past Agon's defenses and begin pummeling him with your hard, iron fists. You push him back, each punch knocking his face around with ease, each strike leaving your mark upon him. Eventually you push him back to the walls of the arena, but you keep striking, you keep hitting him with everything you've got! You have to! You won't get another chance!

"Holy shit." You hear Sinchu say, he must be sitting right above you, you wonder if he's enjoying the show.

"Is that...is that really Hiki?" Naruto asks, his voice sounds...worried?

"When did he get this strong?" Another person asks, you can't tell, their voices are starting to sound the same, your fists are drowning them out.

"ORA!" You shout one last time, slamming your fist into Agon's head so hard it actually pushes it into the concrete wall. Your breathing is heavy, you probably pushed yourself harder than you have ever in your life, and looking at the still body in front of you, you have to say...it was worth it.

"...holy shit." You hear Hayate say from behind, walking up to exam the scene in front of him. "Kid I think you ju-cough-killed him."

"Agon of the Cloud is dead." Hayata says, leaning away from the dead Chunin's corpse. You can hear a sobbing come from the crowd, and you realize it's the girl member of Agon's team. "Hikigaya Tetsu is the winner."

"...well, that's one way to win." Tesshin says, rustling slightly but staying hidden. You walk over to your jacket, picking it up and slipping it back on as the medical ninja walk past you. "But hey, not like the guy wasn't an asshole though, right?"

"No." You say, heading out of the arena. "He was a strong opponent, and he enjoyed fighting as much as I. He let me do something nobody else in the entire Village has ever been able to do for me."

"What's that?"

"He didn't let me hold back." You say, exiting the arena.

"STOP!" You shout, getting practically everyone's attention in the whole arena as you climb over the railing and shunshin down to the medical nin, Sinchu and Suzu just too shocked by your outburst to really stop you. You land and immediately trip, the height kind of too much for you to handle at the moment, but you just roll into it and keep moving forward, stopping the medical nin as they start to take Agon away. "WAIT! He's still got some life left in him!"

Hayate appears beside you, putting his hand on your to try and move you along, then taking it off quickly when he sees Suzu glaring at him. "Kid, seriously I know it's rough but that guy is dead as-cough-a doorknob, just get back to the stands so we can-"

"No!" You shout, moving past Hayate as he sighs. You get beside Agon's body, the medic nin frowning at you for the most part, except for one of them who's wearing a mask, who just sort of stares at you. You place your hands on Agon's body, the chakra you saw earlier still pulsing around him, though it's weaker now. You don't know why, but you feel the urge to put your hands over Agon's heart and head, focusing your own chakra into his body. "I can help him, I know I can." You say, mostly to yourself.

"It's noble that you want to try and help him," The masked medic nin says, his voice slightly patronizing. "But you're not even a Genin, what can you hope to do?"

"Save him." You say, focusing your chakra again. You begin to realize that you're not just looking at one individuals chakra though, but two of them. The second one, red and coiling around the first, seems to be trying to keep Agon alive, or at least not dead for as long as possible. This second chakra, it needs your touch!

"Wh-what?!" The masked medic nin says as light covers Agon's entire body. You can hear people in the stands give out shocked gasps, even you barely understand what's happening, you just know that you have to keep doing it! "How are you doing this?!"

"I don't know, I just am!" You reply, pouring the very last bit of your chakra into Agon before you finally fall to your side, drained of energy. As you breathe heavily, the light around Agon disappears, and once gone it reveals that the boys body is completely healed of all wounds, even his leg from earlier, which was covered in scales, looks fresh and fine. However the best part, for you at least, is when Agon slowly opens his eyes, looking confused as he sits up. You just smile. "I...did it..."

Then you're out cold.
