Hidden knife doesn't give a real advantage to fights, and Lyra is pretty strong already, considering she nearly took out the only two order girls at the time.

A list unfurls from her coat, and I look at it, short descriptions of the magic, abilities and what have you being written as I grab it and the prince of Brausrburge looks over my shoulder and I can't help but feel like a mouse being looked over by a cat. The skin on my neck crawls as he reaches to grab it as well before he decides to just point instead.

I wish I would've had enough time to think about getting out of the way. But as it stands I'm kinda "doomed" here. I just lay on the ground as I hear Lyra shouting and gasping for air as Juniper tries to convince her to give her the meat she doesn't have. Which even if she had any to give, I don't think June's kind of "Persuasion" would really work on her considering Lyra is still pretty scared of most mundane monsters. Which is understandable, but I don't see it myself. I mean I adjusted quickly but....I dunno, I guess I just get used to things and see them as normal easily. "O positive please" he says casually "warmed if possible"

As soon as she gone I look back to alex and smile, asking "See? being social isn't so bad"

I glance up, and see a pair of red eyes staring back at me from the rafters. Then fangs still stained red flash as a pair of light brown, almost caramel colored ears peak out of the darkness and wiggle as a tail flashes behind them.

"Is that your sister?" I ask as Juniper whimpers and tries to fit under the table with her tail tucked between her legs "what's she's doing here"

"Annoying me because I cut her" He begins to say before she drops down on the table, making juniper curl up into a small ball

"is your entire family this creepy? is it a vampire thing" Lyra says, pulling up her collar as she hides behind her menu "and why are you...cat people?"

"Oh you should see our older sister if you want creepy" The vampire princess says looking back at her brother "and we get it from our mum, also I was just checking in on my twin, didn't know you were such a player"

"I am not" he says, pinching his forehead as his tail swishes back and forth "I am just having lunch with some friends, Carol, Lyra, juniper under the table, this is vera"

"Sup....you smell fa" she begins to say before her eyes go cold for a second before she smiles again "and sure you are bro"

"I will bury you under a tree" Alex growls, getting angry as his eyes turn a darker shade of red and split down the pupil for a second "they dragged me here, this isn't a date of any kind we're just"

"Well what's being social then?" I ask, not able to resist the temptation, even though I know it will turn out badly "also you don't have to be embarrassed about me"

Vera's eyes widen with excitment as Alex's narrow angrily. Lyra looks to me and shakes her head

I frown, and grab my glass of water as the waitress comes back around, her hands still shaking
