OPENING CRAWL: http://brorlandi.github.io/StarWarsIntroCreator/#!/AKTjy2VjkQBEpB9AEgU-

You watch as the security teams quickly chain the Princess down in the hangar. She struggles and fights quite well. You can even see her throw off a Stormtrooper here and there. But it’s futile in the end. She’s on your turf, not hers. And on your ship, your word is law. A scientist takes a rod with a syringe at the end, then jabs her in the arm from a safe distance. The Princess twitches and shakes as she reacts to what you assume to be some kind of sedative. “Hold her down!” A pair of Stormtroopers quickly come in from behind and grab her arms, then push her down to the floor. More Stormtroopers swarm in with energy cuffs and stun batons to keep her down.

F4 says, “Chaotic.”

“It’s not like Lusankya,” you say. “This Princess is a lot more ferocious.” And what fury even despite her size.

“Admiral.” You turn off the feed then look to your helmsman. The battle of Lothal continues outside the windows of the Lucifuge. “We’re not detecting anymore hyperspace disturbances. It appears the Yuuzhan Vong are not deploying reinforcements to defend Lothal.”

“Good, we might just have the advantage here,” you say.

“The advantage with just one ship, sir?” asks one of the bridge techs.

“Precisely,” you say. You have full confidence in your girls. They’ll bring you to glory or die trying. “Now, let’s keep probing their defensive line and see what they do.” This has now become a slower battle. The Yuuzhan Vong do not seem to want to commit fully to any operations, and you’re not willing to throw your Starship Girls out there just yet against superior numbers. What to do, what to do…

>>
> Keep probing their defensive line.

“Prosecutor.” Her face appears on holos, awaiting your orders. “Keep probing their defensive line and try and thin them out as best as you can. Don’t commit to any general engagement until I’m confident we can take them.”

“Yes, Admiral,” she says.

Resolute appears as well, skeptical. “There’s quite a few Yuuzhan Vong out here. Not to mention that Worldship as well. Is caution our best plan at the moment, Admiral?” Ugh, is she questioning you?

“Yes, it is, Resolute. The lot of you understand that, right?”

“Yes, Admiral!” they all call.

Finalizer appears on comms, screaming out, “They’ll come at us the same old way and we’ll destroy them the same old way! Don’t worry, Lord Admiral, we’ll have them beaten before bedtime!” … right. That fills you with a lot of confidence. The larger ships take up a wide defensive line in front of the Lucifuge. The corvettes fly forward, peppering the Vong lines with ineffectual laser cannon fire. Between those two, the cruisers will provide a suitable escort and fall back position. If things get incredibly dicey, you’ll be prepared to throw your ship in there as well. You shouldn’t have to but you suppose considering Lord Vader is aboard…

Well, considering Lord Vader is aboard, you have to make sure not to look like a coward in any shape or form. Otherwise he’ll be happy to rearrange your lungs.

You watch as the battle slowly unfolds before you. It appears that the Vong are no longer pursuing. Even despite the corvettes getting lucky shots on some fighters in their line or getting hits on their ship hulls, they don’t react. Hm. They’re waiting for a larger strike. They know what your game is. Damn. You rub your chin, thinking on it. Forcing them away from their position is going to be tough. You’re outnumbered, quite severely in fact. Not to mention outgunned with that Worldship in the fray.

What to do, what to do…

Prosecutor appears on the holos once more, along with the somewhat de-facto squadron leaders: Finalizer (Heavies), Redemption (Support), and Agility (Corvettes). Prosecutor says, “The Vong aren’t reacting to any of our attacks. I believe they may be trying to stall out for reinforcements to arrive and drive us off. They seem to understand that we’re trying to pick their defense apart piecemeal.”

“Alright,” you say. “What about Acheron? Can she do anything?”

Acheron’s face appears on holos, to which she says, “My missiles won’t do much good against the larger targets. They’re only really for fighters.” Damn. “If I score direct hits, sure. But the missiles travel slowly enough that they can simply move out of the way. I’ll attempt bombardments however on your go if you request it.”

“Hold off on it for now,” you say. “We have to consider our options. They know we can’t commit to full attack when their line is all together. Especially if that Worldship comes into play.” The girls look to you, attentive.

Agility says, “Maybe we should bait them in with something!”

“Too risky,” you say.

Prosecutor says, “Actually, Agility has a point. The corvettes are fast. If they commit to trying an attack, they may draw the Vong out of position where we can attack them at our leisure.” Agility grins, bouncing with joy that her idea is being considered.

“Admiral, allow me to be the bait, I’m the fastest!” Agility declares. “I can do this!”

It pains you to do this. Mostly because Agility is one of your faster corvettes and losing her will be an astonishing blow. But, you might as well entertain it. Agility will never forgive you if you don’t let her. “Alright, Agility. Let’s see if you can bait them out. But don’t take any risks.”

Redemption frowns heavily. “Admiral, I don’t think that’s such a good idea. She’s too fragile.”

“I can do it!” Agility boasts. Redemption makes to argue, but is stopped by Agility yelling, “Watch me!” Her holo-image disappears. With that, you end the transmission. You watch as your line shifts now. The cruiser line consisting of Prosecutor, Profundity, Force of Commerce, Assessor, and Redemption parts way slightly. Sundered Heart and Black Hawk retreat back slightly as Agility suddenly speeds forward. In hindsight, maybe you should’ve sent Sundered Heart. Oh boy. You fold your arms, watching.

Redemption says, “I have a bad feeling about this.”

“Go, little corvette, go!” screams Finalizer. Sundered Heart and Black Hawk cheer loudly for Agility as she gets closer and closer to the Vong lines. She sprays them with a burst from her laser cannons. They react thusly by firing their own lasers back. Some scratch and impact Agility. You flinch at the sight of it. Agility immediately starts speeding away, pursued now by a small group of Vong ships. Two cruisers, one corvette. Okay, that’s good, that’s good!

But once Agility gets too far, they start falling back to the line. Damn, not close enough to take advantage of the break. “Alright, Agility,” you say. “Let’s-“ She starts going back. “… Agility, come back.”

“No, I can make them follow me! Watch!” Agility fires at them all again. This time, the group splitting off is much larger, five cruisers, two corvettes. They start following her. “Ha, see!” They start firing upon her again! “Whoa, whoa!” She starts ducking and weaving through the intense laser light show. She hurries to flee.

“Get back, Agility!” yells Prosecutor. Agility is suddenly blasted by a laser cannon burst, sending her spinning into space. “Agility!”

A tech calls to you. “Sir, Agility’s been put into critical condition!” What?! The Vong group starts closing in on her. She’s too far to support from your position. You’d need to get out there to retrieve her. Aaahhh!

“Everyone move in and save her!” you order. Nobody hesitates as all the girls immediately throw themselves forward to save Agility. The Lucifuge itself has to catch up as all the girls immediately fire off everything they have to give themselves a suppressive fire screening. The Vong battlegroup immediately spreads out, trying to avoid most of the attacks. Sundered Heart and Black Hawk, being the fastest, move in quickly. Come on, come on, save her! The Vong deploy out fighters and bombers to attack the stricken corvettes.

“Here they come!” yells Sundered Heart. Black Hawk fires away as best as she can, shredding fighters left and right. The other girls interpose themselves between them and the corvettes. Just in time, they’ve got there just in time. Yes… Redemption flies in and takes the wounded Agility in her arms. She then starts flying back towards the Lucifuge.

“Sir, Redemption has recovered Agility and is now withdrawing,” says a tech.

“Cover her!” you order. Prosecutor signals the girls to start tightening up around the Lucifuge. The Vong battlegroup gives a good fight though. You can see Finalizer take some superficial damage, Prosecutor as well, even Profundity and VP. But they respond in kind by wiping most of the group out. Vong ship debris floats around as another cruiser explodes. “Alright. We got Agility, Prosecutor. Now we have to-“

“Sir! The Worldship!” Oh no. The helmsman calls out to you. “It’s moving now, bearing towards us!” The Worldship, along with its full escort is now advancing on you. Damn it, damn it. Agility is so getting punished for this.

“What do we do!?” yells Profundity. “The Worldship is coming right at us, Admiral! Perhaps if we were to attack it head on, we can disable it and destroy it!”

“Are you nuts!?” screams Resolute. “It’s one thing to attack a Worldship head on, but it has reinforcements!” Everyone starts shouting over each other to figure out what to do as the Yuuzhan Vong ships start to retreat back to support the Worldship. Now that you’ve gotten that thing’s attention, this may have become slightly easier. Removing the Worldship would be a devastating blow to the Vong. It may even spark a rout in their ranks. But of course, even they know that too hence why all the Star Destroyers, cruisers, corvettes are bunching up around it. “Admiral, we can’t take on that many Vong at once!”

“COWARDS!” shouts Finalizer. “Numbers means little in a fight! We’ll slaughter them like banthas!”

VP says, “I don’t know about you, but this venture is not profitable at all. And I am not going to rush in headlong into this fight!”

“Big sis is right!” Force of Commerce states. “A full on attack will never work!”

“That’s funny coming from Separatist ships!” Prosecutor quickly jabs.

Acheron clears her throat. “I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But the Worldship is getting closer and we haven’t formed a battle plan yet.”

“Helmsman, take us back behind the moon. Girls, we’ll pull a fighting retreat! Aim for their escort and picket ships and we’ll soften them up as we move back.” The girls wordlessly follow the order by firing away at the Yuuzhan Vong ships. It’s pointless to attack the Worldship at this stage now considering its sheer size. The only thing other than the Starship Girls that can hope to take on the Worldships conventionally is the Death Star. And even then…

One of the cruisers is blown to pieces by the combined fire. Missiles from Acheron’s launchers blast apart fighters and bombers and scatter away the corvettes. The escort screen starts to spread out and get whittled apart by the suppressive barrage from all your girls combined. And indeed by the time the Lucifuge has retreated behind the moon, you tally that half of their fleet was either destroyed or damaged. Five destroyed ships, seven damaged at various spectrums. Not too bad all things considered. It’s not the entire Yuuzhan Vong fleet but it’s certainly enough to scare you.

Redemption’s face appears on screen. “Admiral. How is Agility doing? Is she okay?”

Commander Kohlenkau responds. “Agility has been sent to the repair bay. She’ll be fine.”

“Admiral.” Prosecutor appears. “This moon is providing us good cover but it won’t last long.”

F4 beeps. “She’s right. The Yuuzhan Vong will eventually flank us using the cover of the moon if we do not respond to their attacks.”

“So what then?” asks Redemption. “If we attack, most of us will be damaged severely.”

“One of us may even be sunk,” Prosecutor notes quickly. “But that’s the risk we have to take.”

Sundered Heart appears once more. “Admiral. The YV are slowing down.” A screen pops up on the tactical map, showing the current Yuuzhan Vong formation. The massive dot accompanied by smaller dashes and dots is starting to slow down as it approaches the moon. However, you note something else. They’re starting to spread out as well. You see two distinct patterns emerge, two flanks. A pincer movement? They must mean to surround you. One Star Destroyer-class each to a point supported by four cruisers and a number of corvettes. And the Worldship itself appears to be moving to cross the moon from above. It’s isolated and out of position in fact with nothing too close to guard it.

Prosecutor says, “Orders, sir?”

> They mean to surround you completely. Attack one of the wings.
> They mean to surround you completely. Attack the Worldship while it’s relatively isolated.

Guess is time. But wait their forces to be relativaly away from the world ship so that they can't return quickly to give it support.
>>
> They mean to surround you completely. Attack the Worldship while it’s relatively isolated.

“We’ll attack the Worldship while it’s isolated! Everyone full speed against it now!” You brace yourself as the Lucifuge starts going full tilt towards the Worldship. The girls fly forward at it, steeling themselves for the coming attack. Worldships are not something you can just take down conventionally. Worldships require something a bit more intimate. Boarding parties. Most of your ships have them, only really the cruiser line and above. The corvettes will run interference by drawing fire from the Worldship. And the larger girls will deploy their boarding parties all in one go. The hope will be to swarm over the Worldship fast enough that once it dies, the Vong will not be in a position to counterattack.

Prosecutor yells out, “Deploy boarding parties!” She sends forth a swarm of her beloved Clonetroopers into the fray at the Worldship. Resolute sends forth a hail of elite 501st Legion fairies. Force of Commerce and VP fly up ahead of them and drown the Worldship with B1 Battle Droid parties. And Finalizer? She throws in a strange force of what appear to be advanced Stormtrooper parties. They drop down onto the Worldship’s hull and tunnel their way in. The Worldship starts quivering and twitching as the boarding parties work their way through.

Sundered Heart and Black Hawk meanwhile continue to fly low to draw the attention of the turrets. The molten slag being fired at them can’t hope to catch them thankfully. You watch as Acheron provides more support from afar by sniping out any fighters attempting to leave through openings. Redemption and Profundity provide effective support on the flanks as well to keep things contained. And for Assessor, she uses her fields to at least slow the Worldship down to keep it in place.

Right. You have a solid framework to work with. Now then, you-

“Sir!” Commander Kohlenkau calls out to you. “Several cruisers have broken off from one of the flanking wings!” Five cruisers break off from the right wing to directly engage your girls. They’re vulnerable while they command the boarding parties. Damn!

There’s not much else to say but, “Get us between us and them!” The helmsman propels the Lucifuge forward, rolling the hull with the bridge towards the girls and the bottom towards the incoming Yuuzhan Vong. The bottom of the hull will protect the bridge and keep your girls safe. Obviously at the expense of firepower but at least they’ll be safe to do their thing. As if to punish you for thinking this may go well, the Yuuzhan Vong fire upon your ship. The bridge shakes and rumbles with each impact from either molten slag from the Worldship or from turbolasers from the incoming cruisers.

“Sir, shields are holding at 50%!” yells a bridge tech. “We’ve already lost half our shield strength!”

“Structural integrity is holding,” says another tech.

“Get our TIEs out there,” you order. “And get me a status report on the boarding!” You look down to see the Worldship out the side of the window. You see an explosion burst from the fleshy skin that is its hull. Another rumble from inside. It’s as if you’re watching a stomach growl without a body to hide it. It’s disgusting.

Prosecutor’s face appears, looking grim and focused. “Our boarding parties are working hard, Admiral!”

A technician calls to you. “Sir, we’ve picked up hyperspace disturbances!” Eh? You look to him, confused. “It’s more Yuuzhan Vong. The Worldship is calling for help!”

“How long?” you ask.

“One hour!” he says. Damn, damn.

“You can, but not alone,” you state. You point to F4. “F4. Get me Lusankya.”

F4 swivels his dome slightly. “Sir?”

“You heard me.” Prosecutor looks absolutely shocked, but doesn’t hold the expression long as her image cuts out. The ship shakes once again. A console explodes, propelling a tech across the room into the wall. “Do it!” F4 extends an antennae from his dome, sending out a transmission to the security teams down below. Release Lusankya.

A holo image of Commander Thire appears. “Admiral, sir. Are you absolutely sure?” You nod.

“Positive,” you say. “I’ll go down there myself. Kohlenkau, take over!” Commander Kohlenkau nods, hurrying to take command at the front of the bridge. You hurry to the elevator.

-

-

> Go into battle!?

Lusankya looks absolutely frightened. Several Stormtroopers stand around her as she stands in the hangar. She has no kit of her own, not yet at least. That usually manifests with the birth of a new Starship Girl. Lusankya however has nothing except her physical powers. Even that would provide a boon. “Yes,” you say. “We need you, Lusankya. The Vong are bringing in reinforcements that could tip the tide of the battle. I need every advantage I can get.”

> I-… I don’t feel ready. Please, don’t send me out there.

The ship suddenly shakes violently. You’re all thrown about. You’re almost sent to the floor, but you catch yourself. Lusankya barely moves at all. The lights flicker on and off. “What was that!?” you shout.

F4 rolls up to you. “Sir. That was our power fluctuating. Bridge crew are putting our spare reserves into the shields.”

You grab Lusankya’s shoulders. The Stormtroopers step back, immediately training their weapons on her. Lusankya looks to you in surprise and shock. You now have her undivided attention. Any anxieties she may have are now gone. “Listen. You can. I believe in you.” You honestly don’t. The only reason you’re telling her to get out there is so that Darth Vader won’t realize you kept Lusankya around is because you want a Super Star Destroyer girl. That’s something he won’t ever find out though.

Plus, you are desperate. You need to win this battle or else your girls may die.

F4 receives a new transmission. “Sir. Sundered Heart has just been critically damaged. Retrieval tugs are en route.” Damn! Come on! SAY YES! SAY YES AND GO DAMN IT!

Lusanka looks down, biting her lip. You can see her shaking in fright, her fingers seizing and clenching a little.

> I will do it.

“Good!” You grin. Oh thank goodness. “Get out there and support us, alright?” Lusankya nods grimly. “I have to get back to the bridge. Commander, get her deployed!” Commander Thire salutes, leading Lusankya away to the launch platforms. You hurry on out to the turbolift elevators. F4 follows behind you closely.

“You don’t honestly believe that Lusankya will be useful out there, will you?” asks F4.

“Adapt or die, F4! That’s a concept I know is foreign to you!” you respond.

“This has nothing to do with adaptation!”

-

-

“Sir. Lusankya has deployed.” A new token has deployed on the battle map, with Lusankya taking center stage in the line with all the girls deploying boarding parties. Profundity and Redemption continue their defense against the now enclosing Yuuzhan Vong forces, almost completely alone. “Her armament isn’t as good as it should be, but it will suffice.” Lusankya’s armaments have manifested slightly, in the form of a few turbolaser towers and an escort screen of TIE Fighters. The bridge tech turns to you. “Barely the power of a line Star Destroyer, sir.”

“It will have to do,” you say. “Lusankya, can you hear us?”

> Yes, Admiral.

Prosecutor says, “We’re good to have you with us! Do what you can!”

The helmsman calls to you. “Sir! We took some hits to our engine while you were down there! Our mobility’s been slowed! Fire control teams have already been deployed!”

“Lusankya, throw yourself in there. Put your body on the line for the girls until that Worldship buckles!”

> Understood!

Lusankya flies down in front of Prosecutor and Resolute. She sends forth her TIE Fighter screen to harass incoming corvettes and cruisers. Then she fires a small barrage of turbolasers at the nearest cruiser, shredding its armor with energy blasts. The attack against your boarding parties starts to break off and stall as Lusankya’s arrival seems to have sparked a rally. The Worldship starts quivering and exploding, with bursts of explosions emanating underneath its fleshy surface. “How long, Prosecutor?” you ask.

“Just a little bit more time, Admiral!” she yells.

You look at the cruisers and the Star Destroyer closing in on Lusankya. You noted them before but now they seemed confused. Lusankya is firing on them but they don’t seem to be responding in kind. Rather… they seem like they don’t want to fight her.

Okay, you are exploiting that to its fullest potential. “Keep up the fire, Lusankya!” you shout.

> Yes, Admiral!

Lusankya puts everything she has into her turbolasers. Firing away left and right. The Vong ships in front of her start pulling away, leaving only the flankers to get picked away by Redemption and Profundity.

“Admiral! They’re retreating!” says Profundity. “They’re getting away!”

Finalizer shouts through grit teeth, “I’LL PURSUE THEM ONCE I FINISH DESTROYING THIS WORLDSHIP!” An alert sounds through the bridge. Oh, what now?!

Commander Thire contacts you through F4’s dome. “Admiral! It’s the Princess we just captured! She’s trying to break containment!”

> “Do I have to do everything around here!? Contain her!”
> “Ugh, let me see her!”
> “We’re kind of in the middle of something, Commander! Gas her or something!”

“Let me see her!” you say.

Commander Kohlenkau looks back at you. “You’re going to leave the bridge again to talk to another Princess!?”

“Yes! I am!” You start storming towards the elevators. “Commander, take command here and-“ The ship rumbles loudly. You’re all thrown about the bridge as the lights go out. You’re thrown onto the ceiling, then you start floating downwards to the floor slowly. What- The gravity has been disabled! All the bridge crew start yelling and shouting as they try to man their positions even without lights or artificial gravity. “Damage report!”

The helmsman grabs the controls at his station. “The gravity’s been disabled, sir! We have repair teams working on it now but-“ Another rumble. The crew braces themselves through it. You grab onto a nearby console. “We’ve lost primary power! Emergency power will be online as soon as we can get it!”

Commander Kohlenkau grabs onto a ceiling panel and holds on. “Are our weapons still functioning!?”

“Barely!” says another bridge tech. “Our shields are completely ruined too! We’re like womprats in a ditch out here!”

“Get me Commander Thire!” you order. “And get me Lord Vader! We have-“ Another explosion.

That did not come from outside. Everyone is quiet. You all look around as another explosion bursts from inside the ship again. Then suddenly you hear the sounds of thuds against the hull. You can’t see the bottom of the ship from here but you recognize what that must means. You have a live Starship Princess aboard who is very angry.

And she’s brought friends.
