It doesn't take long to find their energy, and with a phrase, you appear right in their living room, scaring Suno, who yelps and nearly drops the tray of cupcakes she was carrying.

"Uncle Tofoo!" you hear, turning to see a blonde-haired girl running at you.

She wraps you in a warm hug, and you recover from your surprise to hug her back. So, Kori's a Super Saiyan now.

"Hey, Tofoo!" Goku says happily, walking over to you in his Super Saiyan state.

"Where did you come from?!" Suno gasps, still recovering from her surprise, but also clearly irritated that you scared her like that.

Your stomach growls, and Suno takes that as a "yes". A couple of cupcakes to tide you over do wonders, and you make sure to fuss over Kori a bit before getting down to business, commenting on how much she's grown since you saw her last.

Finally, though, you tell them that you want to talk about Cell.

"Kori, go help your mom clean up in the kitchen," he instructs. "Tofoo and I need to talk."

Kori nods and goes to help Suno clean the large mess left behind by hungry Saiyans, allowing you and Goku to talk with some privacy.

"Is Cell really so strong that you need to take the time before his tournament?" you ask Goku.

Goku's answer comes with a smile, though you can't imagine why."Well, he's a lot stronger than I thought was possible. That's not why I'm waiting, though. Cell wants this tournament of his, and if we try to go and fight him before then, he's going to just destroy the planet."

Out in the snow, a safe distance from Jingle Village, you and Goku stand across from one another, your friend already in his Super Saiyan state, and eyeing you with a look of excitement and confidence. Clearly, he thinks highly of his new abilities, and you wonder just how much more powerful he's gotten.

Goku quickly falls into his most common stance, waiting to see what you do and welcoming the beginning of the match whenever it comes. He's not going to attack you in your normal state, so it's ultimately your call as to when the fight will begin.

"Kuma-Ken!" you shout, unleashing your power as a green glow surrounds your body.

The accompanying gust throws snow up and toward Goku, creating a small smokescreen between the two of you. Firing an energy blast toward him, you use your ability to teleport to move behind Goku, intending to strike while he is distracted by the blast.

Instead, Goku spins and knees you in the gut the second you appear, drawing a shocked and pained gasp from your lips as you hunch over. An elbow-strike follows, and you're sent sliding back, coming to a stop seconds later and wiping blood from your face.

Goku's gotten far stronger. You'd expected that much, but what surprises you is just how much stronger he's become. Those two strikes hit like a freight train, and when he made contact, you were able to sense something else.

He's holding back.

But then again, so are you. The question is, whose true power is greater?

Okay, time to do what you do best.

Goku smirks as you drop into your typical defensive stance. You know what he's thinking. He's seen this a million times, and broken through it several of those times. You don't intend to let him do it on this occasion, though.

Goku explodes from his current position, kicking up waves of snow as he shoots toward you with speed that honestly boggles your mind. You just barely manage to block his initial strike, and after that, you are quickly driven back under his powerful onslaught.

You're forced to give ground, but he still can't break through your defenses, and so it turns into a struggle of who will slip up first. You refuse to let even the tiniest crack form in your defense, and he refused to give you any option for a counter attack.

At least, a physical one.

Opening our mouth wide, you fire off a Bear Shout, aimed at Goku's face. He spins out of the way, continuing to twist his body and throw a spin-kick at your head. Ducking beneath it, you channel energy into your right fist and throw an uppercut at his jaw. Goku quickly throws his upper body back, gaining distance via a backwards somersault.

As he comes to a stop, you throw an energy blast at him with your left hand, only to watch as he disappears via Instant Transmission, appearing right in front of you and throwing a punch. You manage to parry the strike in the nick of time, and once again strike with your energy-charged right fist, this time catching him in the gut.

Goku staggers back, hunching over and clutching his stomach. When he lifts his head to look at you, you can see that he's laughing lightly.

He's excited. Typical Goku.

You decide to stay on the defensive, planning to adopt the same strategy as before on Goku. As he recovers from your attack, you ready yourself for him to try again.

It should be a no-brainer by now not to try the same strategy on Goku twice in a row.

The Super Saiyan races toward you once again, this time blasting the ground at your feet before he reaches you, throwing you off-balance enough to land a powerful kick to your face, sending you back and rolling through the snow.

Pushing yourself back up, you see Goku standing a short distance away, his hands cupped at his side, with a blue ball of light contained between them.

As Goku readies his attack, you stand your ground, even going so far as dropping out of the Kuma-Ken. Your friend looks confused for a moment, perhaps wondering if you're giving up. But, after a moment, he's able to tell that you're not planning any such thing.

With a mighty yell, he thrusts his hands toward you, unleashing a wave of energy that shoots in your direction.

Without moving so much as an inch, you unleash your true, hidden power, a blue aura surrounding your body just before the blast strikes you. You find yourself engulfed by the beam of energy, but feel no pain. An attack like this is really nothing to you at this point so long as you brace yourself for it.

Of course, it helps that Goku is holding back. You can tell that much is going on.

Soon, the attack lets up, and you see an absolutely dumbstruck Goku staring at you, trembling just a bit.

"I can't feel your energy..." he gasps. "And, this pressure...."

You explode forward, your speed astounding you, and actually making it hard to stop yourself in time to strike the Saiyan. Goku has just enough time to turn his head before you land an uppercut to his jaw that throws him up into the air. He manages to recover after a moment, but by then you've already charged after him, tackling him even further up into the sky.

He brings his hands together over his head, forming them into a single fist and striking downward, but by then you're already above him, and give another solid punch that sends him screaming back to the ground.

This time, you don't give chase, and a moment later, he appears behind you, throwing a kick that you easily parry, grabbing hold of his ankle and pulling him in for an elbow-strike to the jaw.

Goku kicks with his other leg, but you catch that with your free hand. Then, you spin, around and around and around, before throwing him back to the ground, where he crashes with a mighty boom.

You dive after him, and he manages to roll out of the way just before your fist would have caught him, causing you to punch the ground instead. He fires a ball of energy from his foot, very nearly catching your face with it as you're forced to dodge. He takes this opportunity to gain some distance, but you're right on top of him before he has the chance to make another move.

A powerful punch slams into his cheek, and he's sent sliding back. You charge, closing the distance and throwing another punch....

Only to have Goku catch it in his palm.

He raises his head to look at you with a smirk, blood dripping from his lip.

"Alright, not bad, Tofoo," he tells you. "Now it's my turn."

You take a step back lowering your arms to your sides, and Goku lets out a powerful yell, accompanied by a mighty gust of wind that begins to push you back as you raise your arms to shield your eyes. He was still holding back? How much power does he even have?!

Goku's energy climbs rapidly, only to come to a sudden stop. A powerful golden aura surrounds him, and you feel a truly tremendous power emanating from him.

"Are you still holding back?" you ask.

Goku smirks. "A bit, but you're doing the same, whether you know it or not."

You give him a confused look, asking what he means.

"I can tell you're not used to this power yet," he explains. "This is the first time you've ever used it in anything like a battle before. You're not sure what it's capable of, and it's going to take some time for you to figure that out."

Thinking that you understand, you give a nod, then charge toward Goku once again, finding his defenses far more formidable than before. He seems to deflect your attacks with surprising ease, especially considering the fact that he can't sense your energy. His counterattacks prove perilous at first, but you soon adjust and are more readily able to fend them off.

Finally, however, you manage to break through his defenses, and land a solid knee-strike to his gut. Spit flies from his mouth, and while he's stunned, you spin around him, place your hand on his back, and fire a blast, sending him sliding face-first through the snow.

He manages to pick himself up and turn around just in time for another kick to the face that once again sends him sliding, this time crashing into a tree. A large amount of snow falls down on top of him, and he yelps about how cold it is as he manages to get back up, shaking.

You give him a moment, and he regains his composure, dropping back into a fighting stance. Despite the beating that he's taken, he still looks no less determined, and even has a smile on his face.

"Well?" he asks. "Done already?"
