Last time, on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn and Meloka faced the mighty Ubo, eventually recruiting the savage to their cause, then destroyed the Wookiee home city after a hard-fought battle. You then became the Guardian's student, the old creature teaching you his own unique fighting style, the Su Ma, and a few special techniques over the course of two months. As we rejoin the team, Karn and his new master are sparring midair above the island the old hermit calls home, as you have been all morning.

"Haa!" you shout, sending a left jab at your master's face. He twists counter-clockwise, spinning outside past your fist. Two months ago, he would have been able to close on that opening and attack you. Not anymore. You spin clockwise, right hand launching out in a spinning backfist. He dodges your attack, flipping over your fist and flying towards your face. Again, through your new training in Su Ma you know how to counter. Rolling backwards, you bring your foot up in a bicycle kick. He flips horizontally past the strike, but by forcing him to dodge instead of pressing the attack, it gives you the time needed to flip back upright to face him again. Right before you both resume sparring, a voice calls out,
"Hey Karn, you guys hungry?"

Turning, you see Meloka's brought a huge platter of food out for you again, carrying it over her head as she touches down on the island. You also see, out of the corner of your eye, the Guardian take advantage of your momentary distraction and launch himself towards you. You decide to use the special technique he taught you to avoid this attack.

The barrier, a simultaneously simple yet complicated technique. As the Guardian rushes you, you gather your power the same as you do for the Explosive Wave. At the point of no return, you release the power, shouting as you throw your arms out to the sides. Your energy expands out from you in a sphere; not as an explosive burst of power, but as a solid sphere of energy. You feel the physical strain of holding the technique as your teacher punches and kicks the barrier, yet you're able to hold it and block all of his hits.

Your teacher then backs off, bowing to you and gesturing to Meloka. You return his gesture, dropping the barrier and landing beside Meloka.
"Well that's new." Meloka says, setting the platter down between you two.
As the Guardian lands beside you and Meloka, the three of you dig in. You and Meloka tear in immediately, the Guardian folding his hands and saying something under his breath before he begins eating as well. You all enjoy a meal in companionable silence, you and Meloka tearing through the food much faster than the Guardian. After finishing the last of the food, Meloka turns to you.

"So, what've you learned while you've been out here?" she asks you, rising to her feet. "You've been out here dawn to dark every day for the past two months, learn anything worthwhile?"

You smile at the memory of saying the same thing two weeks ago, then continue.
"I thought so too, at first. But the Guardian here has really showed me the difference between strong and good.
"Oh!" Meloka starts.
"Huh? What's wrong?" you ask her.
"I just remembered!" she says excitedly. "We've got a new assignment."
"New assignment?" you ask. "What's the job?"
"You and me are negotiating a peace with something called the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire." Meloka tells you. "Apparently these people solve diplomatic problems with their fists, and they also transform into savage beasts with a full moon overhead."

"Familiar this sounds." the Guardian says deadpan, elicting a laugh from both you and Meloka.
"So we have coordinates to their home world?" you ask.
"Nope, neutral ground." she replies, grabbing the platter. "We're headed back to the Pirate's Den. The trip'll take us six weeks, we have to leave today to make the rendezvous."
"Today?" you ask, then turn to the old Guardian. "Thank you. For everything."
He simply nods, you and Meloka taking off back to the mainland.
"Anything you need to do before we head out?" Meloka asks you.

"Just want to stop by and see Chaya." you say, as you both fly toward the mainland.
"Alright, follow me." she says, smirking at you as she takes the lead. You both fly over the ocean, taking the quick trip over to the newly established Saiyan city. Its still clearly under construction, but the layout is basically the same as before. You have no difficulty spotting the hospital, but Meloka doesn't land there. She instead leads the two of you to a nearby building, a rectangular box-like structure. Meloka lands by the door, you following suit. She looks to you and smiles, stepping up and pushing the doors open.

You look around, and there's young Saiyans everywhere. At least thirty young Saiyans children are running around, some fighting, others racing, some even flying. You barely even have time to take in what's happening before you hear a pint-size shout.

"MAAAA!"
Looking up, you see a young Saiy- Chaya! She floats down unevenly straight at Meloka, your mate grabbing and embracing your daughter and spinning in a quick circle. She cones to a stop facing you, your daughter staring at you wide-eyed.

"Daa?"

You're frozen, unable to move. Your daughter recognizes you! You can't find words, you simply smile and open your arms.

"DAAA!" she shouts, leaping from Meloka's arms into yours. You grab her and hold her close, careful not to hurt her.
"Hey kiddo." you say smiling, overwhelmed. "Behaving yourself?"
She looks at you confused, and its simply the most adorable thing ever. You just laugh, holding her out in your arms and just taking her in. She laughs in your arms, happy to be around you. You set her down, kneeling and looking her in the eyes.

"Hey kiddo. Your mother and I have to go to work, we'll be back soon okay?" you ask her. She looks sadly at you, clearly understanding. You feel bad, so you decide to cheer her up, and think at her, "We'll never be too far away, so you be a good girl okay?"

Her eyes light up, clapping at you talking to her without using your mouth. She nods at what you'd said, clenching her tiny fists in determination. You smile at her again, patting her on the head and rising to your feet. You and Meloka walk to the door, turning back and waving as you both walk outside. Meloka has a happy smile on her face, arms behind her head and humming to herself.
"You okay?" you ask her.
"Oh nothing." she says, still smiling. "Anything else before we head out?"

"It was going great, until I was assigned this dump." he replies grumpily. "Nothing but monkeys as far as the eye can see. You decide to spend your training time before arriving at the Pirate's Den sparrinng with Ubo in the Gravity Chamber. You think this will be the best test of your Su Ma style. You two go back and forth, you as a base Super Saiyan and Ubo as Ubo. Even with the massive power difference, you're able to stave off his attacks and keep pace without reaching your higher forms.

Over the weeks of your sparring sessions, you notice two things. One, Ubo's beginning to develop somewhat of a technique. No longer relying on single crushing strikes, he's learned quite a bit about fighting. Two, while he still can't land a solid hit on you when you're in your Su Ma form, the Gravity Chamber itself is a different story. It takes a beating it wasn't designed for, until one day you dodge a strike and his fist goes through the console. The effect is immediate, the enhanced gravity instantly shutting off. You inspect the damage, Ubo apologizing again and again for breaking it. You think the damage is repairable, but no one on board has the technical know-how to repair it. You all spend the last two days without the chamber, awaiting the meeting.

"Captain, we've arrived at the Pirate's Den."
"Well, that's our cue." you say, you and Meloka readying to disembark. However, you see Ubo hasn't leaft his seat. "Ubo, you coming?"
"Ubo, go out now?" he asks you.

"Ready." Meloka and Ubo chorus, you then opening the double doors to the bar area you'd visited before in the Pirate's Den.

Looking around the wide area, you see a few familiar faces, but no Ctarl-Ctarl. Yet. You do however see Aku, Lord Boros, some of those Hunters sitting in a group, a few with seemingly fresh wounds, and, wait is that Bardock?

As the Black Swordsman leaps over you, all his attention focused on Aku, you see an opportunity. Taking the chance, you leap at his unguarded back. Before he knows what happened, your arms grab him around the waist and hold him in place midair.
"What the hell?" he says, looking down at your locked hands. "What're yo-"
Unfortunately for him, that's all he has time to say. You fly back down, flipping at the last second and suplexing him into the metal ground. As he hits, he drops the sword, his whole upper body becomes buried past his armpits. Standing up, you reach down and grab his sword, intent on moving it out of his reach. Surprisingly, you can't lift this monster of a blade off of the ground one-handed. The hell is this thing made of?

Before you can ponder how ludicrous this weapon is any further, he pulls himself free of the ground, hatefully glaring at you with one eye.
"Why are you getting in my way?" he asks, walking towards you. You've seen a lot of soldiers, and as you see this man walking towards you, you can clearly see he's dangerous.

"Neutral ground." you tell him, not backing down. "All fights here are to be taken outside. So either you calm the fuck down, or leave. Your call."

You can see it on his face, him weighing the odds. You can tell he's gonna go for it, and you prepare yourself for his move, until Bardock steps in. Placing a hand on your shoulder, he looks at the Black Swordsman with contempt.
"You try to fight anyone in here, you fight against all of us. That's not a fight you can win, and you know it Guts. Besides, he's getting away."
With that, Bardock points behind Guts, where Aku was trying to slip unseen out the door. His eyes open wide, eyebrow flames going out. Guts snarls and grabs his sword off the ground, shouting and sprining after Aku's fleeing form.

"So Karn, long time no see." Bardock says, the two of you clasping hands, then him leading you and your small group to his table. "What brings you out here?"
"Negotiations." you sigh out, sitting in one of the chairs and slumping down. "Got picked to negotiate with the Ctarl-Ctarl. Speaking of, I was supposed to meet someone here who'd failed to negotiate. Guy named Arctus?"

"Well, day's not getting any longer." you say, turning to walk out of the bar. "Hey Bardock, maybe we can catch up when this is over?"
He simply grunts at you, nodding slightly. You'll take it as a yes. You lead Meloka and Ubo down the halls, the big man marveling at the station until you all arrive at the sealed door to the training arena on the station. You nod to Meloka, you pushing the door open and walking through.

The damage from your fight with Lord Boros was repaired, you can't even see the dents in the walls. Looking around, however, you see a pair of cloaked figures on the far side of the room. As you begin walking towards them, you hear a shout from above you.

"Nyaaah!"
Looking up, you see another cloaked figure leaping down towards you all, landing with a crash in front of you. Rising, the figure tosses her cloak and reveals who Arctus warned you of.
"I am Aisha Clan-Clan, Chief Officer here and Ambassador of the invincible Ctarl-Ctarl Empire! Who are you and state your business!"

Aisha looks excited, turning to her subordinates and nodding, then turning back to you.

"You're on!" she shouts, leaping directly at you. Her men rush Meloka and Ubo, but your attention is focused on the leader. Aisha rushes you, swinging straight at your face. You meet her fist with yours, her power several dozens of times more than your base form's. Instead of being forced back, you take the momentum for yourself. You allow the force of the strike to spin you, using her momentum to deliver a harsh twisting kick to the side of her head. The strike catches her off guard, sending her spinning midair to crash and roll on the ground as you land back on your feet.

She rolls over the ground three times, finally getting her feet under her. She tries to launch herself at you again, but before she can reach you you transform.

You meet her charge head-on. Or, that's what she thinks. Instead of again clashing fist to fist, you twist counter-clockwise past her strike. As you spin, you stretch your left arm out and deliver a hard backfist to the side of her head and send her flying across the room. She flips before hitting the wall, landing feet-first and launching herself at you.

You dodge each of her strikes, dancing through her attacks and retaliating. Each of your strikes rocks her, knocking her back away to rush in and engage again. Seven times she rushes you, and seven times you flow through her attacks and send her flying. That last attack, you launch her into the wall, the metal warping around her and holding her in place for a second, then dropping to the floor.

"SMASH!" you hear Ubo yell. Turning, yo see he has one of the other Ctarl Ctar, by the leg, overhead smashing him into the ground several times before tossing him up into the ceiling. He almost makes it through, if memory of the thickness serves, befote falling bacj to the ground.

Looking to Meloka, you see she's trapped her opponent in a dome of Ki blasts. She shouts "Hellzone Grenade!" and the orbs all fly to the trapped opponent, nowhere to run before the attack hits.

You turn back to Aisha, who's rising up off the ground now. She looks at you, blood running from her mouth and licks it up.
"You're good. This is getting fun! How about we stop playing around and get serious?

You're about to answer, when you feel her Ki spike sharply. Her fangs enlongate, and her eyes shift to become more catlike. Her hair starts bristling as well, something big's about to happen.

You feel her power rising rapidly, so you decide to up the game as well. Focusing on your Ki, you delve deeper into that golden well of power inside you, forcing more and more power out. Your muscles swell, aura flaring angrily, and golden lightning shooting off of your body and carving tracks in the metal floor. With a final shout, your transformation is complete! You sigh out, opening your eyes and looking over to your opponent. Who's rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.
"What happened?" you ask. "I thought you were about to get serious?"
"Nyaah, see, about that." she says ashamedly. "Our transformations rely on the moon. If there's no moon we don't transform."
"Would a fake moon work?" you ask.
"Fake moon? You just can't fake a moon!" she shouts indignantly.
"Hey Meloka! Ubo!" you call out to your team. "Want this to be more fun?"
"Ubo bored. Kitty weak." Ubo says, sitting in front of his opponent.
"You said it." Meloka says, grabbing her opponent and tossing him, still in her base form.
"Well, my people are bored, so we're gonna help you out." you tell the Ctarl-Ctarl Ambassador. "Meloka, give them a Power Ball!"
"Uhh, sure!" she says, shaping the ki to the proper form and firing it up, then shouting. "Burst open and mix!"

The effect is immediate. All three Ctarl-Ctarl howl at the fake moon, golden auras enveloping each of them. Their hair bristles, fangs grow sharper and longer, and eyes go completely feline. Then they explode. Their clothes are shredded as they change into their true form as beasts.

Aisha becomes a white and black striped cat-like creature, falling to all fours. She sees you and snarls, every muscle tensed as she bares her fangs. You feel Meloka transform as well. But judging by her Ki you can feel, something's off. She's stronger than an Oozaru, but not quite a Super Saiyan, while her energy feels familiar to it. Filing it away for later, you focus on feeling the Ki around you. From what you can feel, Ubo is still the strongest in the room, Aisha a close second. She has a distinct advantage over you in power right now, but perhaps not insurmountable. And you sense another, insanely massive power above you all, observing the fight. Boros.
