The Quincy then reached for his belt and pulled out a Seele Schneider which he then activated and loaded into his spirit weapon.
Suddenly reishi from all over the place, including the ambient one that the Privaron were leaking all over the place, began condensing around the arrow.
Dordoni looked at this in horror.

"Erm... muchahos...
I don't think I can stop that!"

"Damn it!"
Cirucci cursed.
"Do I have to do everything?"

Quickly she reached for her wings and tore them off one by one, followed by her arms.
Now all that remained of her Resurrección was her headdress to which her tail was connected.
Whipping her hair around she pointed at the enemy with her tail which suddenly split in two.
She began grunting as she focused all of her reiryoku into it, producing a fan shaped blade of energy.

"GET BEHIND ME!"
She shouted as the fan slowly began to expand into the shape of a circle.

Dordoni and Gantenbainne wasted no time in retreating to safety.
To which the Quincy responded.
"Fools. A pathetic shield like that won't save you!"

"Maybe..."
Dordoni responded as he put his hand on Ciruccis shoulder.
"But I told you not to underestimate the PRIVARON ESPADA!"
As Dordoni began pouring his spirit energy into Cirucci Gantenbainne quickly caught onto what he was doing and followed his example.

Suddenly the Seele Schneider was let loose and it made its way towards Ciruccis shield.
At the moment when the tip of the arrow collided with the vibrating shield the two began to let out sparks and lightning.
With their spiritual pressures quickly destabilizing the air began to rumble around them.
In the end both the projectile and shield phased out of existence in a quick flash as their reishi particles fell apart.

"D-Did we do it?"
Gantenbainne asks nervously.
But the moment the smoke clears he sees the Quincy drawing another Seele Schneider.
"Shiiiiiet!"

Suddenly they hear a shout coming from behind them.
"HADO #31! SHAKKAHO!"
A female shinigami fired off her destructive ball of kido at the enemy.

Her comrades are quick to berate her.
"MIYAKO-SAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WE HAVE TO RUN!"

"NO!"
The woman puts down her feet and takes a stand.
"THESE PEOPLE SAVED US AND YOU'D ABANDON THEM?!
YOU BRING SHAME TO THE NAME OF THE GOTEI!
NOW HURRY UP AND HELP ME!"

Reluctantly her comrades step up to her and begin unleashing volley after volley of Kido, driving the quincy back.
This pleased the exhausted Privaron greatly.

"MUCHAS GRACIAS SEÑORA!"

As this was going on Bazz-B scoffed at the incompetence of his fellow quincy.
"Tch... useless shits.
Couldn't even hold out for five minutes..."

His opponent lands before him and speaks up.
"You are right in one thing...
This will end in five minutes... but not the way you expect it."

Bazzard then cleans his ear as he stomps on the corpse of Kira Izuru before him.
"You sound exactly like this shinigami did.... bitch!
Once I'm done with you I'll take care of those meddling friends of yours."

At this Tia draws her sword but does not grace the quincy with a response.

Inserting her index finger into one of the holes on her weapons crossguard she began spinning her sword around before quickly snatching it in a show of finesse.
She looked the quincy dead in the eye and began charging him with her sword readied.

Seeing this Bazz-B let out a laugh and materialized his holy weapon which took the shape of a crossbow.
He aimed at Harribel and began taunting her.

"THAT'S RIGHT! COME CLOSER!
GIVE ME AN EASIER TARGET!"

The Quincy made the first move as he fired off a bolt at Tia.
Quickly stepping to the side during her sprint she avoided the projectile entirely.
But even so she was quite surprised when the missed bolt struck ground and leveled the entire area behind her.

"Strong..."

Realizing that she can't afford to hold back too much she ramped up her speed and used Sonído.
With a booming sound she appeared right in front of Bazz and lashed out at him.
To her shock the Quincy appeared to be quite adept at fighting at close range since he was easily capable of dodging her slashes with clever footwork.

Raising his crossbow Bazz retaliated with a few close range shots, some of which do manage to graze Tia.
She winces a bit as the sharp tips of the bolts pierce her Híerro.
However as the volley ends she moves closer and delivers a stab that manages to graze his side a bit but completely shreds his cape.

Shooting at the ground before him Bazz creates an explosion in order to disengage from Tia.
As he made some distance he looks at his tattered robe and scoffs at it as he tears it off.
"You messed up my outfit!"

Tia looks at the exposed uniform that was hidden underneath the cape and she lets out an annoyed look.
"You are not too subtle about where you got the idea from..."

Bazz looked at his armbands which were adorned by skulls and bones before showing them off.
"Right mentality, wrong race and shoddy execution!"

Tia hesitated after hearing that.
"You people get more revolting with each minute..."

"I do not care about your opinions bitch!
Now how about we end this pointless bullshit and get started for real?!"

No."

"HAH!
Works for me!"
With a snap of his fingers his crossbow disappeared from view and he raised one of his fingers.
"Then I'll just blow you to fucking smithereens with one finger and END THIS!"

Raising her sword she flashed its edge to Bazz.
"Do your worst!"

Pointing his titular finger at Tia, Bazz formed a gun with his hand and shouted with his full voice.
"BURNER FINGER!"

The blast was nearly instantaneous.
With no build up and hardly any travel time Tia could barely even see the attack coming.
In the very last moment she managed to perceive the intensely burning line of fire and dodge it somewhat.

Still the attack practically drilled a hole into her upper arm, leaving a finger sized hole in her muscles.
Luckily it did not struck bone because if it did there is no doubt she'd go mad from the intense pain that her singed bone marrow would bring her.
With the projectile penetrating her Híerro with ease the only good part about her injury was the fact that it also cauterized the wound almost instantly.

Grasping her burnt wound she looked at Bazz-B with pain filling her mind.
"Whoa! Nice dodge bitch!"
He spoke up and took aim with his finger once more.
"Think you can do it again?
BURNER FINGER!"
Weaving to the right Tia dodges the attack effortlessly, earning Bazz-B's surprise.
"WHAT?!"

She quickly raised her sword as Bazz was still busy firing off his long beam of fire.
As her sword began glowing yellow she spoke up.
"Ola Azul!"

The sharpened cero like energy blade traveled towards the Quincy with alarming speed.
Surprised by this quick counter attack Bazz crossed his arms before his face and quickly found Harribels projectile digging into his flesh.
As the energy dissipated he looked at the blood flowing from his wounds.
It was only minor surface damage but it still hurt like a bitch.

"Tch...
Guess ye'r still pretty fast with a hole in ye'."

"If it's my speed you wanted to lower then you should've aimed for my leg."

"Noted!"

As the quincy lowered his guard Tia began thinking things through.
He was strong, much stronger than she anticipated.
And now she knew that he uses fire as a weapon.
Her confidence rose a bit as she started thinking about her elemental advantage...
But something worried her.

With the intensity of the flame that she felt when it singed her she began to worry.
Maybe it's a bit too hot in fact.

She raised her sword with its tip pointing downward.
"I shall take you seriously from now on.

"Tiburón!"

Water sprouted from her sword and began engulfing her.
As the reishi filled liquid surrounded her body it began to form a sort of crust around parts of her body and forming her armor.
With her typical attire replaced by her resurrected form she looked at Bazz-B with her power radiating around her.

When the quincy beheld Tias new form his eyes were instinctually drawn to the hole he left in her and he saw that as Harribels Hierro grew and thickened it sealed up the wound in her arm.
This fact combined with her immense spike in power angered him greatly, but not even remotely as badly as what she did next.

Rather than attacking her opponent with renewed vigor she turned around and began running away from him at her top speed.
"H-HEY!"
He called after the fleeing shark and began chasing her down with his Hirenkyaku.
"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING YOU BITCH?!"

As Bazz started following Harribel he kept firing off beam after beam of fire.
The searing hot tubes sometime grazed her skin, sending down chills alongside her spine as she felt the immense pain washing over her.
But at the very least it wasn't nearly as bad as when she was struck in her base form.

Despite being showered by Bazz-B's projectiles she kept a relatively low altitude as she sought shelter behind the many buildings around the place.
And even though Bazz could easily track her by her spiritual signature since he couldn't see her movements he couldn't predict whether or not she's going to change her course, which she often did.

These antics of hers slowly but surely drove Bazzard mad until he finally exploded in anger.
"THAT'S IT!
I'M TIRED OF YOUR BULLSHIT!"
Raising 3 of his fingers at once he began pointing at the nearby buildings one by one.
"BURNER FINGER! 3!"

Just like that all structures began turning into lava, leaving Harribel exposed once more.
She stared at the flowing viscous lava and she wandered just how powerful this quincy must truly be.
Were it not for her Híerro the heat radiating from her environment would be enough to boil her alive.
But even in such a dire situation she saw an opportunity.

Pointing Tiburón down at the lava she began transmuting her reiryoku into liquid water and with a swing of her blade she conjured a heavy shower of rain which began assaulting the glowing hot liquid.
Soon as all the tiny droplets of water began to boil away they coagulated into a thick mist over the battlefield, obscuring her once more.

The veins on Bazz-Bs forehead grew to the point where he ran the risk of them popping.
"REALLY BITCH?!
YOU JUST DON'T LEARN, DO YOU?!"
He raised one of his feet and quickly slammed it into the ground.
"BURNING STOMP!"

A wave of heat erupted from where he struck the ground and the impromptu cloud that Tia formed quickly dispersed.
With Harribel revealed again Bazz let out a toothy grin.

"Enough bullshit! Time to die!"
He pointed his finger at Harribel who was unphased.

"I disagree."
Raising her sword she flicked her wrist to the side, causing Tiburón to turn.
Suddenly all the moisture in the air that the brash Quincy caused flooded inward once more, only this time it was more like a wall of hot steam rather than a simple cloud.
"It's a bit hot..."
She spoke up as the steam began slightly scalding her skin.
"But you have yourself to thank for that."

As she said that Bazz found himself in quite a troublesome situation as his clothes began to soak in the hot moisture from the air, soaking his him and causing all the now quite hot fabric to stick painfully to his skin.
He activated Blut Vene just in time to minimize the damage but sadly the technique does nothing to alleviate the pain.

But as Bazz was hissing from the pain that his own technique brought upon him Tia did her best to went the heat from the moisture surrounding her body in order to decrease the damage to her skin.
With a protective bubble of somewhat colder air mist around her body she moved through the air as if it was water and made her way towards the unsuspecting quincy.
Since the air was filled to the brim with a mixture of reishi from both Tia and Bazz it was rather hard to navigate if one only relied on their reishi sensing ability, which meant trouble for Bazz.

Harribel swung her sword horizontally and with great power.
Quickly Bazz ducked down and rolled forward as he felt Tiburón getting dangerously close to his neck.
Turning around he fired off five quick shots with his Burner Finger 1 in an attempt to chase away the attacking Arrancar.

Him dodging the attack truly surprised Tia.
Either he had the devils own luck on his side or he possessed keen fighting instincts that rivaled even her own.
Perhaps it was both.
Still she did not waver and made preparations for her next attack...

"BURNER FINGER! 4!"

Suddenly an orange glow appeared near Bazz-B.
With four of his fingers extended he created a massive sword of pure fire around his hand.
After only a single swing he created enough wind to blow away all the mist from his surroundings.

"Gotcha!"
Raising his free hand he prepares another attack.
"BURNER FINGER! 2!"

Swiping two of his fingers he creates two parallel lines that travel through the air, carving two lines into anything that stands in their path.
Tia raised Tiburón in order to block the fierce attack and she feels herself being pushed back.

Though her body remained unharmed once she gazed upon her blade Tia knew the damage she took was indeed severe.
Two deep gashes spread across the length of her blade with many, many small cracks spreading outward from them.
She looked at Bazz and saw him charging her with that massive blade of his.

Blocking and parrying his blade she was forced to be defensive against such an aggressive foe.
"WHAT'S WRONG?!
RAN OUT OF TRICKS?"

Not responding she focused all her attention on her enemy.
If that sword landed a direct hit she'd certainly feel it.

Knocking Burner Finger 4 aside she swiftly delivered a kick to the gut of the Quincy and fell back afterwards.
Panting from the stamina loss all those consecutive blocks gave her she looked at the furious quincy and began thinking things through.

Quickly ascending to a higher elevation Harribel looked down at the still recovering Bazz.
Raising her sword she spoke up.

"Cascada."

Suddenly a torrent of water is conjured above the shark queen and it begins to move towards Bazz.
Seeing the sudden expanse of water assaulting him the quincy raised his free hand and pointed at the incoming tidalwave.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SHOW YOU THIS YOU DAFT CUNT?!
BURNER FINGER 1!"

Fire erupts from the quincys hand and the jolt of molten fury darts up to the sky.
As fire and water connect however something unexpected happens.

Both Bazz and Tia are caught by surprise when from within the bowels of the mass of water an explosion erupts.
The sudden expanse of force and air blows away the flames of Bazz as well as the surging waves of Tia.
Little did they know that due to the intense heats of the quincys flame large amounts of water evaporated at once.
With the combustible Hydrogen and Oxygen fueling the reaction the water literally exploded as the two gases making it up separated.

But even though both parties were caught off guard by the event one of them had enough awareness to capitalize on the situation.
Continuing with her plan Tia squeezed the hand which she purposefully cut and drew her own blood.
Extending her hand she began channeling her spiritual energy into an orb her Cero started to lap up her blood, transforming itself in the process.

As the explosion cleared Tia looked down at the Quincy and spoke the name of her attack.
"Gran Rey Cero!"

With a brilliant golden flash of light the energy wave quickly made its way towards Bazz who upon witnessing the discharge made his own move.
Quickly he released his hold on his flame sword and Burner Finger 4 swiftly disappeared.
In a fit of panic he hastily pointed all of his fingers skywards and shouted.

"BURNING! FULL FINGERS!"

Five jets of flame were fired from each of his fingers, each resembling the blasts of Burner Finger 1 but much greater in magnitude.
The five streams quickly got entwined and as they kept rotating they formed a tornado of fire.

As the flaming drill and the space bending energy blast connected they each began violently tearing into the other.
With their force being comparable to each others the two attacks quickly nullified each other in a violent, earth shaking explosion.

"Get it through that thick skull of yours already!"
Bazz spoke up as the dust cleared.
"I am one of His Majestys strongest!
It doesn't matter what you do, how strong your attack is or how clever you get!
Because I will shatter your efforts every single time!
I don't care if you have water, ice or whatever! Because my flames are irresistible!
And you know what...
I'm tired of fucking playing around with you!"

With that Bazz reached for a pin on his glove and by pulling it free activated his Vollständig.
As his halo and wings formed he stared at Harribel with contempt.
"So I'll just kill you instead!"
Shooting jets of flames from his tube like wings he flew up towards Harribel.
Kicking back his feet he engulfed them in tongues of fire.
"BURNING KICK!"

Sending the female arrancar flying with his quick attack he followed it up by rapidly firing dozens of his Burner Finger 1.
Doing the best she could Tia attempted to avoid the majority of the damage coming from the Quincy but she was really struggling to keep up with him.

"WE'VE BEEN PREPARING FOR THIS DAY FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!
DO YOU REALLY THINK SOME STUPID UPSTART HOLLOWS ARE GONNA STAND A CHANCE AGAINST US?!"
As sparks pelted Tias skin Bazz kept going on.
"YOU CAN NOT FATHOM JUST HOW MUCH WE SACRIFICED IN THAT ONE MILLENNIUM!
ALL THIS POWER! ALL OUR RAGE ARE THE RESULT OF THOSE SACRIFICES!
AND NOBODY! ESPECIALLY NOT A BUNCH OF ANIMALS LIKE YOU CAN HOPE TO STAND AGAINST US!
SO! JUST! DIE ALREADY!"

As the attacks of the Quincy got more and more intense Tia could no longer dodge them.
First it was just one shot that managed to hit her but more quickly followed.
Her body was showered with beam after beam of molten fury.

And for the finishing blow Bazz-B used Hirenkyaku in conjunction with his wings in order to close the gap between them.
Raising his hand he recreated his massive sword of flame but this time it was even larger.
"BURNER FINGER! 4!"

His downward slice was met with Tiburóns blade in a last desperate act of self defense.
Though her body was mostly unharmed her sword shattered from the impact.
And with the injuries that she already sustained she could no longer maintain her altitude.
Slowly her body began accelerating towards the ground until she collided with the surface.

As she laid on the ground she could feel the impact affecting her as her vision got blurry.
Satisfied with this Bazz-B began gloating.

"See? Fucking told you.
Now be a good hollow and stay there while I step on your neck..."
Slowly the Quincy began descending towards the battered arrancar.

Tia meanwhile tried to recollect herself.
In her moment of weakness she found herself staring at the ring on her finger.
Somehow she felt herself drawn towards it and so she tried to draw some strength from it.

Planting both hands on the ground she forced herself to stand up.

She stood up and looked up at the floating angel.

She began clenching her fists.
"It's what you are not willing to sacrifice that matters!"
Suddenly memories of her family and friends began flooding her mind, pushing her to keep fighting.
She made the decision... it's time.

Bazz-Bs senses began alerting him.
He not only felt but sawthe massive increase in the power of his opponent.
The arrancar down before him kept increasing her reiatsu until it ceased being simple pressure but became a very tangible thing, like an ocean of energy content on drowning and choking all those that are foolish enough to stand against it.

And as Harribel threw caution to the wind her golden reiatsu began to take up a darker tint.
Suddenly she disappeared from Bazz-Bs view and she reappeared mere inches from his face.
Her wounds seemingly gone, her lips uttered these words:

"Resurrección: Segunda Etapa."

Askin could maybe handle Ulquiorra as long as Segunda Etapa doesn't radically change his reiatsu, but can he lower the lethal does of water in his lungs? Do schrifts degrade over time? Disappearing as quickly as she came Bazz once more lost track of his opponent.
But soon he found something else as his neck began hurting like hell.
Reaching for the aching area he found it drenched in his own blood.

Suddenly a booming sound can be heard coming from behind him Bazz turns around and sees Harribel wiping some blood off of her lips.
"As I suspected... foul."

Raising her spear Harribel let out a little smile which curled up to a sly grin, revealing her impressive set of sharp teeth.
"Prepare yourself... for you are now food."

Spinning her new weapon around she unleashed a set of attacks on the quincy.
By spinning the spear between her fingers as well as her entire body it looked more like she was performing a very elaborate dance rather than an attack.
But the results spoke for themselves.

Unable to cope with the series of tip cuts and thrusts Bazz decided to fall back to a safe distance so he could take aim at his target.
As he tried to fly away however he found a long whale like tail wrapped around his leg, binding him in place.
His eyes opened wide as he was pulled in closer to the kill crazed shark.

Activating Blut Vene and raising his hands Bazz tried to guard against the attacks that were never coming.
Instead he found the shark woman sinking her teeth into his forearms.
In a fit of panic he quickly tried to pull free his limb which only managed to cause his own flesh to rip apart.
The only damage that he inflicted on Harribel was the fact that one of her teeth got stuck in him, which he quickly pulled out.
However even that small victory seemed hollow and moot when he saw the woman growing it back in a second.

With the taste of blood lingering in her mouth Tia found herself getting more and more lost in her predatory instincts.
Her eyes began to get a bit more bloodshot red as she attacked Bazz-B even more ferociously.

Seemingly abandoning her weapon altogether she resorted to attacking with her bare hands, legs and jaws.
The only times she used her weapon were during her moments of clarity when she realized that she should deflect the incoming arrows and various other projectiles that Bazz was now hurling at her.

Getting close to the mohawk wearing quincy she threw a mighty punch at him and sent him flying.
With the enemy now a bit farther away from her she slowly started regaining her senses as the red mist started to fade from her eyes.
Shaking herself free of her own primal instincts she looked at Bazz who now was bleeding from multiple open wounds.
The smell of his blood was practically calling out for her.

"It appears that I got a bit carried away.
My apologies but I'm not too used to this form."

"Fuh-Fuh---Fuck you!"
Bazz-B panted heavily.

Not even gracing that with a response she raised her hand and pointed one finger at the quincy.
A yellow ball of energy began manifesting at the very tip of her finger as she charged her attack.
Slowly hints of black began to appear in the mass of swirling energy until it became the dominating color in the orb.

"Cero Oscuras."

As the black energywave closed in on Bazz he raised his hand in a last ditch effort at self preservation.
"BURNING FULL FINGERS!"
He shouted and poured all the power he had left into the attack.
But this time it wasn't enough to halt the progress of the Cero.

Soon he felt the black energy washing over him, crushing his wings nad Heiligenschein.
Without his halo, his Vollständig slowly began to disappear.
But before that could come to fruition he found Tia Harribel staring him down.

Entering a low stance she quickly brought up her spear, cutting the left side of Bazz-Bs body open.
As he was reeling back from the open wound the quincy felt pain overwhelming his senses.
Without much reiryoku left his Blut Vene did almost nothing to mitigate the damage.

Quickly drawing in as much energy from his surroundings as possible he pointed 3 of his fingers at the ground.
"BURNER FINGER 3!"
Suddenly where he was standing up until now as well as the surrounding area turned into a river of lava which cut him off from Harribel.
In that moment of safety Bazz quickly conjured up a shadow portal from the ground and stepped into it.

With her prey now gone Tia officially lowered her guard and stared at her own Resurrección.
"I still can't control it properly..."
She muttered to herself.
The only thing that consolidated her was the fact that the Quincy she was fighting up until now is probably going to die from exposure to her reishi.

And as much as I hate doing this I simply can not go on any longer.
I'm still way too exhausted from yesterdays ordeals.

But fear not! On Sunday we'll continue where we left off!
Now with 100% more Kaizar!

Slipping into the shadows was a risky move.
With Silbern and the Soul Society reverted he had no idea where he was once he ran away from the hollow ripping him apart.
Bazz-B sweated profusely as he cluelessly wandered around, searching for salvation.

He could feel the corruption spreading in his veins, eating him up from the inside.
"DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!"
The sensation was unlike anything he ever felt before.
His blood was on fire, his cells screamed in pain and his head felt like it was about to split open.

Finally he found what he was looking for and conjured up a shadow portal so he could return to the more familiar grounds of Silbern.
Falling through the gateway ungracefully he shouted with what strength he had left.

"JUGO!
JUGO HELP ME!"

Suddenly Haschwalth stopped in his tracks as Bazz arrived behind him.
Turning around he saw the injured quincy on the ground.
"Bazzard..."
Leaving the side of His Majesty he walked up to his former friend.
"What happened to you?

"WHAT DOES IT FUCKING LOOK LIKE?!"
Haschwalth looked at the mans wounds and he narrowed his eyes on them.
"T-The Daten... it was shit!
That shark bitch! She had a secondary release!"

"As we feared...
We really do not know the capabilities of the enemy..."

"FORGET ABOUT THAT JUGO!
I'M FUCKING DYING HERE! PLEASE!
JUST FUCKING HELP ME ALREADY!"

Haschwalth sighed.
There was indeed something he could do.
An ancient and widely despised technique.
But it was the only thing that could be done once a Quincy got infected.

Slowly he thought things through.
It was risky, painful and not guaranteed to work.
But all those paled in comparison to the real side effect that made people hesitant to use it...

Drawing his sword from its scabbard he pointed it at one of Bazz-Bs wounds.
Slashing with determination he cut out the afflicted area with the bite marks and he did this for every wound Bazz had.
With chunks of his flesh torn out the wounded Quincy winced in pain.
Then Haschwalth really began working on him.
Using his Balance he managed to revert the damage done to the cells of Bazz if only slightly.

Following that he opened a shadow portal and a group of Soldat arrived on the scene.
They quickly put Bazz on a stretcher and Haschwalth leaned in close to him.
"You know what this means right?"

In truth he did not want an answer from Bazz.
His past friendship with the man has clouded Haschwalths judgment and now he wanted to reassure himself somehow, despite knowing how bad of an idea this is.

"I'd... rather do this than ceasing to exist!"

"Very well..."
He closed his eyes.
"Do it."

At his orders the medics retrieved a vial full of blood from a coo ling unit.
They've prepared quite a lot of vials in anticipation of the war with the hollows.
Human blood...

After administration and a few rituals the blood clots and forms pockets that contain the taint.
But as a result.... Bazz is no longer an Echt Quincy

While on one end of the battlefield the Quincy are busy attempting a procedure that may or may not save a life, on the other one a single shinigami is standing over the battlefield, observing it intently.
He senses several strong individuals fighting.
Things almost become too chaotic to follow which isn't an issue with him because in the end he cares about only one.

He closes his eyes and sighs.
"I'm so sorry... everyone.
I do not expect any of you to forgive me.... I just hope that you'll survive my mistake.
And... most importantly... Chojiro...
I hope that you'll find peace. Now that your precious bankai is no longer being tarnished.
I'll see you soon..."

With that Captain Yamamoto took off.
As he headed straight for the King of all Quincy everyone could feel the earth trembling and the air sizzling.

Looking at the sky you saw a red line flying across the sky, coloring it red with flames.
Your eyes open wide as the Commanders reiatsu finally hits your chest like a concrete wall.

"Whoah...
That's not good."
Raising your hand you can practically feel your mucus drying and forming a crust around your skin as moisture evaporates from it.

But as you are about to head off towards him you also feel a rather alarming power spike coming off from somewhere else.
It'd be a bit of a detour to head for it but it's closer than where you suspect the Commander is heading.
And it doesn't feel all too pleasant.

You shake your head as you look at the commander heading off.
Even from such a distance the intensity of his reiatsu is causing you problems.
Getting closer to him would just make you a hindrance to him.
So instead you switched your attention to what's ahead of you.

As you kick the ground you can feel your gills wiggling.
Right on cue your little pet pokes his head out of your pocket.
"You feel it too?"

Suddenly two other voices also speak up.
"What is happening over there?!

"The reiatsu of the shinigami are... changing...
I'm surprised you are this perceptive Mera.

"I started picking it up from you after a while..."

Landing down in the square you see a great number of shinigami grouped up together.
As you look around however you can't see the one they were fighting against.
The Quincys reiatsu filled the air to such an extent that locating them with Pesquísa is almost impossible they blend in so well with their environment.
The only thing that you are sure of is the fact that there are multiple ones nearby.

"What's going on?"
You speak up as you walk closer to the shinigami.
"Where did the enemy go?"
The shinigami are not responding to you.
"Are you listening to me?!"

You place a hand on his shoulder and he violently yanks himself free of your hold.
Quickly he brings up his zanpakuto and slashes with it in your direction.
The blade cuts open your clothing but bounces harmlessly off your skin.
Reeling back in surprise you jump into the sky.

Looking down at the angry mass of shinigami, all of whom have drawn their swords, you give your healing slime to mend your ruined outfit.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Suddenly you hear a voice coming from behind a nearby wall and see four figures coming out of their hidey holes.
"Told you it won't work you dumb cow!"
A spiky, green haired woman with rather revealing clothing speaks up.

"I didn't see you performing any better!"
Her black haired friend responds as she crosses her eyes on purpose.

"THAT'S BECAUSE I HAVEN'T DONE A THING YET YOU MORON!"

"Erm... girls?
Shouldn't we like... focus?"
The third girl, the one with bubblegum pink hair, tries to calm her friends down.

Finally the last of the girls makes her move as she reveals herself.

Looking at the one Quincy advancing on you and the other two circling around you it becomes apparent that this is indeed going to happen.
But before that you have something else to do.
Pointing your open hand towards the shinigami with your fingers extended towards them you began firing off rapid fire bullets of slime at them.
As the liquid seeps into their skin they begin to twitch and shake.
Some of them fall dead on the ground while some seem to be regaining their senses.

They each look at each other in terror and they begin running as far away from the scene as possible.
The black haired girl did NOT take this very well.
She began shaking so hard that it was putting the recently freed shinigami to shame.
Her eyes widened and they began showing pure hatred mixed with murderous intent.

"I'LL... FUCKING... KILL HIM!"

"GIGI!"
The little girl called out to her friend.
"SNAP OUT OF IT!"

"HE... TOOK... MY LOVELIES!
MY... TOYS!"

The little girl darts around the battlefield on her Hirenkyaku discs and violently slaps the shit out of her friend while Blut Arterie was active.
"Get! Your! Shit! Together!

She then flashed her sharp teeth at Giselle which was sufficient enough to terrify Giselle into submission.

She nodded nervously after which Lil let go of her collar.

Once they were finished Candice began snapping her finger and generating electricity between them to get the attention of her fellows.
"Did you two virgin whores manage to untangle your panties?"

Suddenly she reached for her belt and turned a knob on its buckle, activating her Vollständig.
Her friends did not appreciate this too much.

Suddenly Candice charges at you in her released state.
Strangely enough you don't actually see her materializing any spirit weapons as she seems to be content fighting you with electricity.
Wielding literal lightning bolts she begins swinging them at you.

First you check your pocket and see that Wiggles has erected a tiny barrier around his body and then you drew Basilisco to block her attacks.
The first few attacks you did manage to block with relative ease as she doesn't seem to be all to comfortable fighting you in melee.
However the side effects of those became apparent VERY quickly.

After clashing with her you felt electricity traveling along the blade of your sword and up your arm, into your slime where it spread throughout your body.
Immediately your muscles began to spazz out of control.
Your arms and legs began cramping up due to the rapid convulsions which made it quite difficult to block subsequent attacks and it only got worse.
When you jumped backwards in an attempt to recuperate you quickly found yourself surrounded by holy arrows from all directions.
Each arrow shaped differently by their masters they manage to overwhelm you with sheer numbers alone and as all that reishi is compacted in one small area it blows off right in your face.

Swiping with your hand you cleared the ensuing cloud of dust and debris to see that all four of the girls entered their Vollständig immediately.
Looking down at your own clothes you see that one of your favorite jackets just got shredded to bits.
Tearing off what's left of it you observe Wiggles falling out of the remains of your pocket and moving to someplace where he can observe you safely.

The bubblegum haired girl hits your sword with her bare fist.
But what's beyond that is what freaks you out.
Her arm is monstrously deformed and swollen with muscle.

It felt rather strange.
Despite hitting you only once it felt like the force of her punch hit you several times in increasingly strong waves.
The end result being that you were sent flying straight into a building.

With the structure collapsing upon impact you crawl out from under the rubble with minimal damage.
You wipe off some filth from your face and you look at the girl whose arm rapidly deflates.

"Okay... did not expect that.
Damn..."
You reach into your mouth as you feel a slight sting and when you remove your fingers you see some blood.
"This girl packs almost as big of a whallop as Marr..."
As you say that you suddenly see skull and bear trap shaped holy arrows closing in on you.
"They don't want to give me even a second, huh?"

Quickly you use Sonído and clear that area.
Looking at the battlefield you realize that the girls are constantly moving around so you can never see all four of them at the same time.
You let out a smile at that.
"Looks like you got me properly surrounded.

You raise your sword.

A sudden burst of energy, a pillar of light, the sensation of impending doom.
Your white armor glistens in the sun, your dark eyes look at the Quincy.

In addition to that you also draw your knife.

Suddenly your knife begins to glow red with heat.

Disappearing you make your way to Meninas in order to return the favor.
Quickly you begin slashing away at her with your hot knife.
Though it doesn't deal much physical damage due to her Blut you do manage to inflict some pretty nasty burns on her arm.
Sadly you can't keep going on as the others are already high on your tail.

The moment you see the large, gaping mouth of the little Sternritter closing in you jump up high in order to evade it.
Which is exactly what Candice was waiting for.
Suddenly she materializes a spirit bow in her hand and she begins charging the tip of the arrow with enough electricity that it begins glowing.

"EAT THIS!"

As she fires off her attack you quickly kick off towards her direction with your knife on the ready.
Swiftly you dodge the arrow and dash past it towards Candice.
As you suspected the rest of them are quick to follow you. Just as planned.

Clashing with one of the lightning bolts of Candice you parry it with Mera.
The shock travels up your arm and into your body as expected but it's just a tad bit less painful for some reason.
Slashing away you feel the others arriving, so you kick Candice in the stomach and turn around and face them.
One by one you go up to each of them and once in melee range lash out at them.
Switching from Quincy to Quincy you attempt to dance around them.
For the most part you succeed but accumulate some damage in the process, especially from Meninas.

Seeing you jump between them Candice gets angry at you.
"YOU'RE FIGHTING ME SHITHEAD!"
She then throws lightning at you.

You let out a coy smile at this and raise your hand.
Gritting your teeth so you don't accidentally bite your own tongue you catch the lightning in your hand which in response begins flowing through you and by extension... the cords of slime that you have drawn between all of you.
Candices lightning then hits the girls as violently as it did you except this time the strength of the blast is divided between four people.
It still hurt like a bitch but at least it hurt the others as well.

"Candice you team hitting cow!"

Holding it in her hand she readies herself to throw it at you, her friends flee in terror when she does so.

Feeling its approach you have to think of something to save yourself and fast.

The ground quaked under the power of the explosion that took place.
Even your eardrums popped when it breached the sound barrier so now all you hear is ringing.
But other than blood dripping from your earhole you are mostly fine.

The Quincy stare at this in disbelief and after your hearing returns you can hear them cursing.
Only Liltotto has enough mental presence to actually address the elephant in the room.

"... How?"

You point at the copious amounts of slime you encased yourself in.
"I grounded myself."

"I know. One mistake and I get fried.
Guess luck was on my side."

Turning back to the others you find yourself in quite a dilemma.
While you're rather confident in your current protection it's only going to remain like this if you don't move too much and if you don't leave the ground.
And losing your aerial advantage is not something you are happy about when it comes to fighting people who favor ranged weaponry.

But suddenly you feel the ground rumbling under your feet and you look down.
Sharp teeth burst out from the hard rocks underneath and you see the jaws they belong to swallow the ground you were standing on.
Your reflexes save you from being devoured but you quickly realize something.
You are in the air.

"Uh-oh..."

"Good save Lil'!
GALVANO JAVELIN!"

After reconstructing her lost "wing" she threw it at you yet again.
This time you were unable to dodge or counter it.
With electricity coursing through your body you find yourself enslaved by your own muscle spasms.
Which is why Meninas decided to follow up on the attack.
Raising her engorged arm you see her veins popping out as she activates Blut Arterie.

As her fist is but mere inches away from your face you can think of only one thing.
"Oh no..."

You feel your mask cracking and a few fragments of your teeth lodging into your skin as you are sent crashing into the ground.
Focusing on your healing you fix your wounds relatively quickly.

Standing up you decided that it's about time you paid them back for their kindness.
Using Sonído you made Candice your first target as she's their main damage dealer.
Grabbing hold of her you lock her arm under your armpit.
Instinctively she begins discharging a lot of electricity at once, causing your muscles to contract on their own.
A big mistake.

Suddenly as your strong arm moves on its own it snaps hers like a twig.
She hisses in pain and kicks you away from her.
Grasping at her now useless limb she screams at you.

"THAT... REALLY HURT!"

As your seizures end you try to do a nonchalant shrug.
"Sorry but that was technically your doing!"

"GRRRR!"
She turns her head around and looks down at her friend.
"GIGI! HEAL ME!"

"Uh... wha-?
But you still ha-"
Just like that Candice ripped her own useless arm off.
"Oh okay! I can work with that!"

Moving over to a corpse she begins to twirl her fingers around in the air above it.
Suddenly you see it liquefying and the same substance flying up to Candice, morphing into a new arm for her.
She gives it a few tests and after a strong squeeze she finds it sufficient enough.

"That'll do!"
She says confidently.

You frown at this bizarre ability of hers.
Not only do you find it disgusting because it uses up the enemies corpses but you also think it's quite bothersome.
Raising your hand you sigh to yourself as you really wanted to save this for Candice.

"Endlösung!"
You close your fist around a bunch of very small threads that you've been busy spinning around the place.
Suddenly all of them begin converging around Giselle until they have her neatly wrapped up.
The femritters stare in horror at your display as you apply a bit more force to the coccoon and Giselle starts making loud crunching noises.

Suddenly you see holy arrows piercing your construct from within.
As the Endlösung is destroyed Giselle falls out of it.
Her body is a mangled mess, her clothes torn and twisted.
It's clear from the way she stands that her spine and several of her bones were crushed in such a manner that she is not okay, in fact she should be dead.

And yet there she stands bent and broken but definitely alive.
As you take a closer look at her you see what appear to be... scars.
Her body is riddled with almost perfectly faded scars, enough to make someone like Nnoitora or Marr blush.
But there is something wrong about them. Unlike regular battle scars they seem to wrap around her body and cover most of her skin in patches.

Suddenly things click together for you.
The way she manipulated dead tissue before, how she gave a functioning arm to her comrade...
This girl is an amalgamation of different body parts fused together into one whole.

Looking at her you decided one thing: This creature must be destroyed.
Turning your attention to Mera you speak up softly.

Tightening your grip around Mera you pull that hand of yours back and place the other free limb under it.
Momentarily stopping Meras heat you cut open your palm before re-igniting her again.
Suddenly you are pouring a lot of energy in between your hands and it shows.

Then as the attack forms you begin focusing on the third component you are planning on adding into the mix. Meras flame.
Shifting your attention to her you began drawing on her heat and channeling it into the ball.
Suddenly you feel the thing in your hand grow incredibly heavy and unstable.

You failed to properly mix and balance the three separate types of substance inside and it feels like the thing is falling apart in your hand.
So before it inevitably explodes in your face you pull it back with both arms and begin speaking.

"Gott... Jäger... CERO!"

As you fire off the blast almost swirls out of control during the halfway point and you feel like it's going to split into three different blasts but it still connects and just like that you see all nearby buildings reduced to smoldering ash.
After the ground stopped shaking and you got to observe the damage you felt both satisfied and immensely disappointed.

While it appears that Giselles entire lower body was incinerated she is still very much alive.
At this point you are beginning to question your abilities more than Giselles apparent immortality.
However you just wave that train of thought away as you still have work to do. Namely the quincy.

As they cough hard their eyes open wide at the widespread destruction you've wrought.
Liltotto seems to be especially terrified of you.
"And this is not even his second stage..."
She mutters to herself as she starts looking for her friends.

Gigi is obviously in a pretty bad shape but nothing a few extra body parts and some of her reclaimed blood can't fix.
What's really bad right now is Candice.
Not only has she been using her Vollständig the entire fight but she was also throwing around some pretty scary lightning bolts so she seems to be tapped out.
The only ones that are in still prime fighting condition are Meninas and herself.
And if four of them couldn't handle him then two just will not do.

Letting out a deep and painful sigh she began weighing her options and she came up with nothing.
"Guess this is it..."
She muttered to herself with a bored expression on her face.
"I didn't want to die on an empty stomach..."
She patted her belly in pain.

As you activate Mera and feel her flames spreading through your innards you speak to Liltotto while you transform.
"Very well girl...
You've earned my respect.
Now... I present to you my all.
Resurrección: Segunda Etapa."

As the fog slowly envelops you and forms a cape neatly behind your back Liltotto wastes no time shooting at you.
Casually you swat away her projectiles one by one, feeling each one to be stronger than the one prior.
Seeing that her attacks are of no use she uses Hirenkyaku to get up close to you and she kicks you in the jaw.
It appears that now with her fate sealed she is a little more open about fighting you in close combat.

Twirling Mera between your fingers you activate her blade and command her to form a straight blade made entirely out of fire.
She does so but strangely enough she seems to react to your secondary release state.
As her flames are tinted turquoise you raise them at Liltotto and begin swinging away.

She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a Seele Schneider and activates it.
The two of you clash and at first you push her back easily.
But as you keep going you find it harder and harder to actually move the girl.
However your superior skills with the blade are still showing as you easily disarm her with but a flick of your wrist.

Her weapon falls to the ground blade first and remains there.
In response to that she produces not one but two of the bloody things.
As she re-engages you it becomes apparent that she's forcing her body beyond its limits.
Her muscles and bones are breaking themselves apart before your very eyes and the only thing that's keeping her together is her use of Ransotengai.

Again you knock the "swords" out of her hand but as they fall you notice something.
The threads of her human puppet technique are attached to the falling blades and guide them somewhere.
Quickly you turn back to her who lets out a coy smile as she pulls out the last two weapons and throws them to their destination.
Upon landing she taps one of them and speaks up.

"SPRENGER!"

Suddenly the five weapons began resonating.
But as they began releasing an alarming amount of reiatsu they bump into a problem.
Namely, you.

As the Sprengers energy collided against your reiatsu it hit a wall that it simply could not break through.
Liltottos eyes widened as she saw her technique, a pillar of pure reishi being reduced to a pancake.
With the strength of her technique only managing to levitate you just a bit you look at her dismissively and shake your head.

Clearly angry about this she raises her bow at you and begins charging it up.
"Licht Regen!"

Suddenly hundreds of thousands of arrows fly at you.
Your response to that is simple and efficient.
Raising Mera up you point her in the direction of the Quincy.
"Scorch."

Seeing her wall of arrows being defeated by your raging flames Liltotto changes her approach once again.
Using Hirenkyaku she's moving in circles around you so fast she's leaving actual after images of herself.
When you think she's about to make her move you reach out and find that it's just a decoy. This happens again and again until finally she attacks you.

Suddenly the clones disappear from view and you feel Liltotto preparing to fire one of her used Seele Schneiders into your back.
Turning around you clap your hands and catch the vibrating blade between your palms.
Only to see that the side of Liltottos jaw has dug itself deep underground.
Looking down quickly you see her teeth appearing again. Except now they appear to be much larger than the last time she tried this.

Almost without thinking you jump up just too late to avoid being caught.
You feel her teeth trying to bite down at you from both sides as you keep her jaws pried open.
Looking down into her mouth you fire off a few weak balas into her stomach with no effect what so ever.
Deciding you had enough you muster more of your strength and push her gaping mouth open.

As you fall out from her abyssal organ you see her gripping her mouth in pain.
"This... is just not fair."

"I told you I'd fight you seriously."

"H-Heh... guess... you-"
And before she could finish her sentence she just falls down onto the ground.

Seeing this you rush for her and see her crawled up into the fetal position.
As you kneel down before her however you see her opening up and shoving a miniature bow that's about the size of her hand into your face.
She lets out an honest to god smile before falling back as her bow disappears with the last remnants of her power.
"Heh... Gotcha."

Standing above her on your knees with your heart racing you honestly felt like she was going to take off your head with that one.
"A-Are you?"
