you place your backpack down and equip your sword and shield then procede to charge straight into a group of three particularly ugly mana wryms.
"Band'or shorel'aran!" you yell as you charge your longsword with the holy energy you've handled since you were but a child. As you close in on the nearest pest you swing your blade in a long horisontal slice and to your suprise you manage to hit not just one but all three of the beasts, dealing a crippling blow and opening a wound on the creature which seeps a blue magical essence.
though the creatures recovered quickly they bounced towards you in perfect sync. Realising the threat you quickly bring up your shield just in time for all three to bounce of your wooden Buckler.

(ok abilities take time to recharge and you can't use the same ability twice in a row they also take mana/rage/ect ect so using them will often tire you out so be warned with using them.)

After quickly body checking the little mana rats you quickly slash at the nearest wrym and decapitate the beast.

As the other two rats see their companions azure mana infused blood seep into the ground as fuel for the drugs being grown one decides to back off and appears to be channeling mana into some sort of spell. while you doubt these things can pack much of a punch you don't think that you should let that continue. the other however seems to be a little more agressive as it atempts a second bite towards your face as you pull yourself backwards slightly out of reach of the beast.

Quickly Acknowlaging the threat the caster presents you form a hammer out of Holy energy and throw it directly at the little thing, nailing it right in between the eyes. Clearly dazed the creature loses hold on its spell as it disapates and the energy is sucked up by the blooming bloodthistle.
Forgetting about the nippy magical creature for a moment turns out to be a mistake, as it slithers its way into your guard and leaves just as quickly with a small chunk of flesh. From the sudden stinging pain coming from your left cheek you presume thats where he took it from.
acting mostly on ager you quickly swipe your sword towards the little bastard but suprisingly it's skin appears to glisten slightly as your blade seems to flow along the skin of the beast but never quite making contact.

Infuriated you forget about the creature at the back and focus all of your might on the little shit who took a bite out of your cheek. after bashing the creature back a step in an attempt to daze it you bring your sword down only to find it yet again dancing along the hide of the creature but it yet again fails to penetrate the flesh.


After another couple of seconds fighting what you consider a duel to the death with this mana snake, you feel wind rushing past your left ear as an arrow finds itself embedded in the body of the mana wrym. wondering where the shot came from you look behind you and in the window you see your little sister Teliera smile and wave from the top floor balcony.

making that kind of shot would take some serious skill but then again this is your sister we are talking about people are always going on about how she would probably become the next ranger general after she matures past her childish attitude.

You sigh knowing when to shut up and accept a gift especially considering it is a farewell gift "Thank you Drameith and stay safe yeah you won't have me or my sister here to protect you and your crops forever" you say with a slight wetness creeping at your eyes.

"Yeah yeah go on get on out there before we both break down in tears. we both know i'll be fine Al diel shala child" he says as he ushers you towards the bridge leading towards the ruined district of Silvermoon city.
"Al diel shala" you reply as you move yet again reminded that this may be the last time you see your home of the past 12 years.

I think i'm going to call the quest here for now next session will start same time next Friday instead of Thursday. I'll ether make a new thread or use this one depending on if its still alive or not. in the mean time I'm available on the discord for info.

Your journey towards Falconwing square was rather uneventful all things considered, a couple of probably malfunctioning arcane golems in the distance paroling the pathways of the district and a bunch of wretched skulking around allays just out of sight of said golems. Nether of them bothering the main walkway connecting Sunstrider isle to Falconwing square. once you arrive you see it is well guarded by a number of guards and a couple of Spell breakers and from the noise it appears there is a commotion going on, even still the layout is just as you last seen it years ago. an inn situated near towards the center, a barracks off to the side where you spott a wanted poster and a Elf flanked by two Spellbreakers and they appear to be interrogating a Wretched prisoner. surrounding the main plaza and water fountain are various stalls peddling Armour of various types and shoddy cheap weapons to any coming from sunstrider isle.

Taking an interest in the commotion you make your way over to see a man in tight black leather with a red tabard and short raven hair armor speaking with a contingent of guards and manage to catch the tail end of the conversation.
