I'd like the ideas of either Fugaku initially disliking and considering Susumu a rival to surpass, only to end up becoming good friends because susumu was just so damn chill, or the opposite where susumu was super stoic and serious and the two just learn to cool down over the years as fellow genin and friends. As for Sasuke, I don't think it's likely he'd know at all, with Susumu feeling a little weird around him because he feels like he failed his friend whenever he sees or hears about Sasuke.

Susumu became Elder when he was 35, ten years ago, so yes he was Elder during the Uchia Massacre.

Main reason he didn't take Sasuke in is what you all pointed out, politics. I guess that doesn't mean he still isn't looking out for the kid, like maybe some of the Clan come by to help fix the place up every once in a while, Suzu's always bringing bread, and Hiki's a good enough...well I guess rival isn't the right word, but he's good to be around for Sasuke.

"Master Jiraiya look out!" You shout, leaping in front of your hero. The Toad Sage puts a hand on your shoulder, probably wanting to face this deadly attack head on, but you won't let him risk it! "Tetsu Style: Pocket Sand!" You shout, scooping some sand out of your pocket that you keep in there for....reasons, and then throwing it in Ebisu's eyes.

Somehow the bits of coarse dirt make their way past his glasses, and his sudden screams sound like music to your ears. You and Jiraiya move out of the way, Ebisu still running forward until he ends up crashing through the wall to the women's part of the hot springs. You and Jiraiya look at each other, then grin as you peek inside.

Ebisu seems to have found himself face deep into the cleavage of an angry looking Akimichi girl, while the other girls around him scream in panic. Ahhhh.

"What the hell did you two do to Closet Perv Sensei?" You both turn around, noticing-Hey it's Naruto!

Born to a konoha chunin and a citizen shop keep, Joyo was a commoner that would go on to join the academy and do well.
Extremely intelligent and a master of ninjutsu, Joyo was an expert in wind ninjutsu and developed his own style of combat using flying explosive paper folded into cranes, his large twin umbrellas that'd he'd use to fly and glide across the battle field, and wind style ninjutsu.

The combination of timed explosions and use of his umbrellas to grab onto the explosions' pressure would allow Joyo to fly around the battlefield at high speeds without ever touching the ground. With his control of the battlefield with miniature tornadoes, air slash attacks, and his paper crane to act as missiles when the situation called for it, as well as being able to use his umbrellas as both lance and shield when enemies got to close, Joyo was well adept at crowd control and an effective shock trooper in the ninja war and more combat orientated missions.

His Umbrellas are custom built with a lighter weighted variation of tetsu iron, curtesy of his friend and fellow former team 12 partner susumu, and custom chakra absorbing silk to better control the airflow. He is able to make the umbrellas as light as air or as hard as iron by flowing his chakra into them.

Achieving the rank of jounin in his mid 20's, Joyo would go on to build a small but beloved family with his wife and two kids, as well as inherit his father's shop for his family to make money on the side.

Good friends with Fugaku and Susumu, would both beseach the elders of konoha to both adopt sasuke and later help susumu's case to take him in, to no avail.

It'd be easy to just ditch him at this point, catch up with Jiraiya and find out what his mission is for you...but fuck it, when have you ever done the smart thing? "We ain't lost his ass yet, come little dude!" You say, picking Naruto up and tossing him onto his shoulders once more. "Alright so, this time we need to come up with a plan."

"What kind of plan?" Naruto asks, placing his hands on your head. Better not mess up your hair dammit. "I mean, I'm up for anything but I'm still only a Genin."

"Alright let's go!" He shouts, starting to run off before you grab him, causing him to run in place. That's funny as shit.

"Hang on, this time we actually need a plan. Not just half assin' it." You lean down, grabbing a stick from the ground and begin drawing up a plan. "Remember that time you and me ordered the spicy ramen challenge and ended up running all over Konoha for a fucking bathroom?"

"Yeah, that was horrible." He says, remembering the day with vivid horror. Indeed you do too, never have you come so close to shitting yourself than that day.

"Right, but remember how we made sure each step meant something, that we weren't running around for nothing?" He nods. "Okay, same basic principle here. When you go at Jiraiya, make sure each and every step means something, don't jump unless you have to, don't stop unless you need to. Got it."

Naruto nods, standing up and staring up at the bridge where Jiraiya is staring down at the two of you. "Got it." He says, then rushes forward.

You jump up onto the bridge, Jiraiya glaring daggers at you. "You didn't tell him to leave." He says, accusingly.

"Nope." You say, shrugging. You watch as Naruto and three other clones leap from underneath the bridge, flying through the air as they descend on Jiraiya. "REMEMBER NARUTO! MAKE EVERY MOVE COUNT!"

"Hah!" Jiraiya laughs, readying himself. "You really think some snot nosed Genin is gonna' get the drop on me, I'm Jiraiya, the one of the Legendary Sanin!"

You watch as Naruto closes the distance between him and Jiraiya, then... "Sexy Jutsu!" He shouts, all of his clones and himself turning into busty, older female versions of himself. Damn Naruto. "Heyyyy!" They all say, winking at Jiraiya who's oogling them like crazy. It does help they're all naked too, maybe showing Naruto them titties helped after all.

"Oh boy!" Jiraiya says, drooling over himself as he looks over each and every one of the clones. "Now this is what I'm talking about kid! Why didn't you just bring out this jutsu to begin with?"

"Because I wanted to," One of the clones whisper, leaning forward, then frowns as they grab Jiraiya by the hair. "DO THIS!"

BONK!

You cringe as you watch one of the clones come up from behind and nail Jiraiya right in the nuts, causing the Toad Sage to cry out as he falls to his knees, where all of the girls tackle him and hold him down, before reverting back to regular Naruto's. "I GOT HIM! Alright!"

"...oh god I'm so sorry Master Jiraiya." You say, watching the excruciating pain he's in right now. Jeez.
