Last time you collected some plants before getting caught up in a mission to capture two ships. First the smuggler ship which was easy but then you took on a large pirate vessel. Only reason why you won is because their strongest fighters made the fatal mistake of approaching Doctor Sicko. After they were taken out the ship was soon yours. After celebrating the victory you chopped of your foot in the name of research before departing the island. When the Captain somehow managed to piss off the locals. Resulting in the long awaited getaway to a couple abandoned islands to lay low.

Here you found out about the Haunted ship and the cursed pact that the crew must abide by. Before one of the haunted ships departed with the coffins supposedly to take them to the 'other side'. You also talked with your former foot about how to into plants.

Yes, that actually happened.

After you finished talking with your former foot about plants you went on a walk hobbling around the island. Getting a decent view of the place before returning to watch a fight. As a bunch of zombies turned the deck of the ship into an arena while everyone else celebrated on the beach during the Wake.

The zombies on the deck attacked each other with blades, guns, and fists. With the first mate Jenkins acting as the referee. the fight was by far the most vicious one you have ever seen. The wounds they afflicted on each other would long have put a normal man out of the fight. Instead they just kept on fighting as it were an ordinary flesh wound. Their strength was also something else when blades clashed you could see their weapons warp underneath them from the power and sparks flew wildly. Yet they fought on and when their weapons finally broke on them. They resorted to fists and kicks. With a solid hit resulting in large bruises or broken bones. Often with the unlucky zombie sent flying and should they fall off the boat they were considered disqualified.

What they were even fighting over you honestly don't know, then again you probably missed part while on your walk.

One particularly bad ass zombie punched a sword head on and the blade shattered into a million pieces upon impact. The other zombie was so surprised the punch sent him flying off the boat. Another zombie shot several bean bag bullets at a zombie knocking him into the air and then blasting him away into the ocean with his duel hand cannons. Another zombie kicked a sword so hard it bent and snapped straight into the insides of its owner. Causing him to tap out before walking off to find doc for medical assistance. There was yet another zombie using some rope to grapple and tie up his foes with. Sadly he ended up getting overwhelmed and taken out. Yet another zombie was using chains to whip them around and attack other zombies with. He would often wrap up one zombie and then turn said captured zombie into a weapon to hit other zombies with until said wrapped zombie surrendered. Then he would find a replacement. There was another zombie who was using two swords to parry shots by a gunner as he approached. Once he got close the gunner dived towards him catching him off guard before pistol whipping him and taking another shot with the other gun. It soon turned into a close up scuffle of dodging and parrying.

The fight was very impressive and you notice a dizzying array of martial arts before displayed by the participants.

Nearby you could see a bunch of zombies dancing or feasting and watching the show after having placed their bets. With a laughing giant stood tall above them all and starting singing a strange song.

After wandering around a bit you took a seat to get some rest and ate something to fill your stomach. When as the arena finally started to clear up with a few strong fighters remaining the Jenkins suddenly intervened. Jumping onto the stage and throwing the fighters off. This time to the beach and yelled at them to take a break.

After that he jumped to shore and started grabbing other zombies throwing them onto the ship while shouting they gotta fight next. Some of the zombies weren't even able to pick up their winnings from the bet before getting thrown onto the ship. You noticed he seemed to avoid grabbing the zombies who were already had been up there before.

After grabbing enough he jumped once more on board the ship before banging a drum and yelling "BEGIN!" After that yet another grand melee full of guns and disturbing zombie howls.

You meanwhile sat on the beach watching the show when you noticed a certain serpent try to 'sneak' off the ship. Only to get grabbed by the first mate and throw into the brawl. Much to its angry hissing as it suddenly started to fight for its life and the laughter of the watching zombies. First Mate included.

Snake kid for his part was clearly outmatched by the much stronger zombies. One of their punches was capable of making him spit blood and he started to dodge desperately with snakelike reflexes . Especially once a zombie nearly cut the tip off the tail off.

You suddenly find yourself thankful that your missing a foot and thus weren't considered worthy to fight. As you have 0 doubt these assholes wouldn't throw you up there and your a much worse fighter then Snaky Kid.

After all given how they never once asked you for your name and cut your foot off without even asking why not. Come to think of it they never asked for Snake kid's name either...and you didn't either. Which makes you feel bad.

Well at least they aren't all uncaring there is Doctor Sicko who...who also never once asked for your name. Instead you been stuck with 3 Eyes or 3 Eyed Kid. While Snaky Kid is called Snaky Kid or Snake.

All of them a bunch of frigging assholes when you look back at the 'normal' crew in the form of the Captain and Zane the cursed gunsmith...who were now playing a game of russian roulette. After the Captain asked Zane is possible for the cursed guns who like him so much to turn on him. Zane being so very wasted though it a brilliant idea and asked the Captain to join him in order to test if 'being a friend or comrade also counts'. The Captain actually agreed.

You suddenly find yourself scooting away from them as you ponder why you ever even thought following the clearly crazy captain a good idea...

Right when you were about to ask yourself why you didn't just wander onto a different pirate ship instead you got grabbed by a giant hand before being deposited before a bonfire roasting a giant octopus. As a laughing giant spoke to you for the very first time.

"Har har har child human needs to eat more to grow recover properly and grow strong. Also needs to drink more in order to loosen up! Your too serious kid! You gotta be the most serious person on this crew and that just shouldn't true! After all your only a child," speaks the Giant staking an entire roast before besides you along with a barrel of rum.

"Kinda hard to do that when your like the most mature person on this entire crew."

"Mature? I think not. That goes to Doctor Sicko and the Captain, but even the Doctor Sicko knows to not be too serious," responds the Giant. "Think about it Doctor Sicko has the most reason to be the most serious but he's not! He knows to let go. Even with his devil power over Plagues, despite losing his treasured medical license no longer considered a doctor by the rest of the medical community, being imprisoned in that suit, and even with the world government after him! Yet he lets it all go!"

"How could you know that he isn't even here," you mutter.

"Har har har. He was here earlier told Jenkins to not push them too hard, the Captain to shut up, and stumbled off somewhere after getting drunk wandered off back to the Marine ship."

"Must of missed it then..."

"Doctor knows how to party in moderation unlike the rest of us HAHAHAHAH," laughs the Giant before cheering loudly at the fighters on the ship.

Doctor Sicko as you find after asking some zombies is currently on a different much more desolate island preparing for some...experiments. Which sadly required you to find a rowboat and row yourself on over. Once you get there you noticed there were stakes in the ground with chains attached to them. You could see some lab equipment have been set down and arranged carefully. Along with recording equipment. Then there were the boxes full of shots with strange fluids and strange canisters by the crate load.

You then noticed some zombies came off the marine ship and started to chain themselves up to the stakes. With the zombies making sure the bindings were done properly before heading back up onto the ship and entering its bowels. Soon Doctor Sicko emerged giving the occasional hic and stumbling off the ship. To the work area after looking around a bit Doctor started to grab canisters and shots seemingly at random before heading back on the ship.

The chained up zombies then released a relieved breath after seeing they weren't next. Soon however you could hear screams come from the bowels of the ship that Doctor Sicko disappeared into. You carefully hobbled your way onto the now haunted Marine Ship but were stopped from entering the bowels of the ship by some zombies.

"Hold it 3 Eyes you don't wanna go down there unless you have to," advises one of the zombie guards who was garbed in gas mask and hazard suit stopping you.

"I need to ask Doc some stuff."

"Doc's busy performing some experiments and given the screams. They aren't going very well right now. Best stay away until Doctor Sicko is done," suggests another one of the zombie guards in the strange garb.

"What's the worst that can happen to me? I am like at least half plant by now," you claim.

"Look Doctor Sicko doesn't like to be bothered while he's performing...'research' and nobody get's to approach him without donning a hazard suit and we don't have any children sized ones."

"Heh it can't be THAT bad."

"..."

"Really? It is that bad?"

"Doctor Sicko's 'experiments' is actually Doc's version of Training with the Devil Fruit of Plagues powers. Hence why nobody in their right mind ever bothers Doctor Sicko when he's like that. Not even the Captain is that fucking crazy. The poor bastards who Doctor Sicko's grabs...become nothing more then very unfortunate test subjects. You go down there and nobody can guarantee your safety. Much less your Health."

"Our job is simply to keep some poor dumb ass from getting caught up Doctor Sicko's training," admits the other guard.

You decide to stick around until Doctor Sicko came out. Which as it turned out you would later realize was a terrible idea. As you find a spot to sit and wait for him to show up.

At first you heard some more screaming then something *changed*. You don't know what but the air...tingled almost when suddenly a mad drunken laughter started to come from below. Followed by some inhuman screaming and then silence. Complete stillness and sickening kind of silence. Soon a disturbing strangely colored fog started to crawl out of the depths of the ship.

At this point you realize it was a terrible idea to wait on the ship. As you notice upon seeing the fog both of the guards throw themselves off the ship while one of them starts to yell at a snail. Sadly due to missing most of your foot you weren't able to hobble away in time. As two sickening eyes hidden by lenses appears in the fog and climbs its way out.

You see Doc...or to be more precise what 'used' to be Doc. Strange vapors were pouring him and he moved strangely. One step that appeared to be uncertain where to go and head twisting at an impossible angle. His arms and back made some sickening snapping sounds as suddenly that...'thing' appeared before you.

Looking into those eyes...you did not see Doctor Sicko's usual glimmer hidden by those lenses that were full of a baleful glowing gas at this moment. You could hear its fingers snapping as it grabbed onto you and cracking of neck as it bent towards you.

Doctor's gas mask meant to refresh his air and keep his sickness contained...was failing miserably. As strange ichor and gases were pouring out. It looked at you and you could hear a wet deep sniff before a hallow chuckling.

"Devil Fruit...Plants," a strange voice echoed out. "No wonder...you are not effected. How about I change that?"

Suddenly your head began to spin and you feel your muscles were not listening to you.

"Fascinating...a mixture of plant and animal. You will be fun to experiment upon. Hah...hah...," a strange wet sickening laughter oozed out as the former Doctor Sicko coughed out as it suddenly appeared on the beach and before the chained up zombies before it turned to look at them with sickening cracks between rasping breaths and coughing.

"Ah almost forgot all of you. My...precious volunteers. Tell me is any of you willing to volunteer for my very special breakthrough?"

----
Meanwhile at the party...a certain pirate captain suddenly looks towards the former marine ship after answering his snail phone.

"...Oh not this again," he mutters before rushing towards there while pieces of machinery float from the ship and towards him. "Hopefully I get there in time."

----
Back at the island the Doctor Sicko was found a few 'lucky' volunteers.

"Fortunately for me some of you chose something special and...I got something extra special for you now," rasped the Doctor Sicko. "Don't worry I already worked out the worst of the kinks earlier...sort of."

"Now...these are garbage," mutters Doctor Sicko pouring a bottle of rum over the crate full of vials and needles. Before setting them alight. "I got something MUCH better now. Had a...realization if it were. Illness can cause physical changes no? So...why not mutations hm? Heheh. You're all lucky," continues coughing out Doctor Sicko as it starts to pull out canisters before cracking them open to pull something out throw it into the crackling fire. "As I thought...why not combine it with some...drugs no? Heheh. Smart idea. Great idea."

"Body is...immune to illness...but not drugs. Heh. sweet sweet performance enhancers. Lovely things. ahem now to cook up the right chemicals...combine it with my own specialty," continues Doctor Sicko as it starts working the labs to collect some substances and mixed them with something Doctor Sicko generated from themselves.

"and...Wallah. Super Serums..ah ha ah," coughs Doctor Sicko spewing out hideous amounts of slime and vapor. "Combining...germs with...chemical compounds. Ahem. Lovely little things," says Doctor Sicko tapping the newly filled vials before injecting them with a needle.

"Don't worry...I tested them on myself and others first. Should be fine. Maybe." Admits Doctor Sicko before injecting the chained up zombies who were struggling to break their bindings.

"Next up...plant boy," chuckles Doctor Sicko with rasping breaths before turning back towards you. "I have done experiments on plants and animals...but never something that is both."

"Hold it right there Sicko. What the hell happened?" Says the Captain arriving right on time.

"Hm...nothing of course. Just had a...realization and took some medicines. Heh."

"But you can't get sick anymore you moron."

"Hm...yes but that doesn't mean I can't use a pick me up...something to enhance my abilities."

"Oh well good to know you didn't snap instead your drunk and high. Which is honestly worse at least when you snap you feel guilty about it," complains the Captain has he raises up his cannon weapons. "Now how about you let the kid go...and we stay right here until you sober up."

"And waste my period of enlightenment? I think not Captain," hisses Doctor Sicko. "I was limited at first...my thoughts were. My powers were too. Too limited in my thinking, but now! I do not fear even a devil fruit user."

Suddenly Doctor Sicko stood before the Captain and raised up his hands which unleashed a baleful beam of something at the Captain. Forcing him to dodge to the side and respond with a cannon shot. Doctor Sicko responded with yet another strange movement and dodged out of the way.

"FUCK," curses the Captain as he assembles more guns and his fists start to whir. "How the hell did you get so bloody fast."

"Germs Captain...they are everywhere. On our very bodies. Inside of us. Tell me how can I be slow if I am a walking plague?" Hisses Doctor Sicko through the air. Making it impossible to tell where its coming from. When suddenly he appears.

and hugs the Captain.

"What the-" begins the Captain as he throws Doctor Sicko off him. "Ha your flying so high you even forgot you can't effect inanimate objects and that this suit protects me from your powers. HAH...what the-" As a strange growth suddenly appears from where Doctor Sicko touched him and starts to spread rapidly "OH FUCK," he screams as he starts to disassemble parts of his suit to throw into the ocean.

"puwahmuwahpuwahmuwah," sickly laughs Doctor Sicko pointing at him. "Rusting flesh from a devil fruit power...why can I not do vice versa Captain? You think your precious suit can protect against ME!"

"NOTHING CAN STOP M-" continues Doctor Sicko working himself up when suddenly a white bomb appears...and explodes. Spreading a white crystals and powder all over the beach and Doctor Sicko.

"SALT? AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH-" shrieks Doctor Sicko rolling on the ground.

"Eat flames too bitch!" Shouts the Captain as flames start pouring off him and towards Doctor Sicko.

In response Doctor Sicko rolled into the surf before picking himself up before a thick sickening mist started to pour off him and he vanished within it.

"Goddamn it Sicko you might be a fun drunkard but you become such a evil bastard when your high. Germs are bad enough but high germs are even worse," complains the Captain through the fog as suddenly a spout of flame appears above the fog and starts clearing it out of the way.

"You know nothing! Sickness...disease...I was unable to see its true potential. Unable to realize its true power! No wonder the World government fears the Devil Fruit of Plagues so much. I can erase entire KINGDOMS with but a single breath. Not even Whitebeard can match my power!"

"Goddamn it and it turned you into a fucking megalomaniac. I swear next up you get high I am gonna leave your ass at a Marine Base and just watch the show from the sidelines."

Suddenly the fog starts to roil and boil. As it blooms upwards and creates a great mushroom cloud. Inside of which you can see a laughing skull emerge and hear screams of the sick.

In response you could see the Captain unleash a series of bombs that explode. Unleashing fire, ice, salt, and even antiseptic sprays into the air. Causing the mushroom cloud to shudder...and collapse in on itself. Unleashing a huge wave of sickness. Sweeping across the entire island and dragging you along.

"FUCK," you could hear the Captain scream as he too was pulled underneath and dragged along by the wave.

"Good very good. No more interruptions for my work now lets get back to it kid-fuck," curses Doctor Sicko looking at the departing wave. "He got dragged along too...ah well guess I'll just do him next time," mutters the Doc shrugging as he gets back to work.

You and the Captain meanwhile end up wet from sea water and...well honestly you don't wanna think about what the other stuff is made of. On the opposite side of the island both shivering, coughing, and sneezing. With snot dripping from your noses.

"Goddamn it Doct-AH ACHOO-" begins the half naked Pirate Captain as he pull out a similarly ill snail and muttering into between coughs and sneezes.

You honestly weren't much better off and your pretty sure you have caught some sicknesses that only a plant can have. As in you already had a finger fall off and an ear. Pretty sure two of your toes are about to join them.

"bah...just you wait doctor ACHOO, this...this ain't over yet. ACHOO," tries to start the Captain.

You meanwhile look at the island...that was dying. All the plants that were here and probably all the animals. Were changing colors and health was fading quickly.

"When did doc...become so strong," you mutter shivering.

"ACHOO, Doc was never weak. Just...ACHOO hated fighting ACHOO. Should see...ACHOO what happens when he loses control or gets ACHOO angry."

"Still going to fight hi-ACHOO," you tried to ask.

"Yeah I'm gonna try ACHOO, when Doctor Sicko dopes himself ACHOO. He becomes a very different ACHOO person. Last time ACHOO he got doped he ACHOO created the zombies ACHOO and...ACHOO well you don't wanna know what else ACHOO."

That was when the pirate ship floated on by and started throwing boxes down on the beach before the first mate asked a question.

"Uh Captain...should we try to stop him?" Asks the First Mate.

Sometimes that can be the case as I am rolling for different people. That 100 for instance was for Doctor Sicko who unfortunately happened to have also have been drunk at the time.

Then there were all those terrible rolls afterwards which made Doctor Sicko's bender so much worse then had to be. Normally do to Doctor Sicko being a pacifist and the Captain being a tricky bastard. Doctor Sicko bender would be contained or channeled against the enemy.

Alas...such terrible timing and terrible rolls afterwards made it so much worse.

Sadly the Captain lost...hard despite him having the best knowledge of Sicko's devil fruit powers in the entire crew besides Sicko himself. So things got ugly.

Suffice it to say this wasn't first time Sicko's been on a bender but this time the Captain failed very hard at damage control.

>>1991873
Eh could be worse. Sort of...maybe.

At least it wasn't a 1 so Doctor Sicko is still in control in a matter of speaking. Problem is its the drunken high one instead. So like Chopper's early Monster form but much smarter and less self controlled.

The Doctor Sicko in there right now...isn't the 'real' Doctor Sicko. Not until he sobers up anyway and turns back to normal.

You hobble back to see Doctor Sicko. Through a former forest of now dying trees and there was no longer the chirping of birds nor the buzzing of insects. Instead it was just sickening still silence. After awhile you finally make it back to the lab on the shore.

There you could see what...used to be the zombies. They were all changed and twitching against their bonds. There was also the Doctor himself who had acquired some drawing boards from somewhere that were now filled in. Along with him speaking into a recording device and writing stuff down in notebooks.

At first he didn't realize you were back until you spoke up.

"...They can try," chuckles Doctor Sicko with strange wet laughs that have coughs mixed in. "Experimenting on the dead...I should do that too while I'm still out. Great idea boy. Funny you think all that death would be able to stop my plagues. So long as there is air and water remains wet my plagues have carriers."

This time the Doctor appeared right before you.

"Must admit I didn't think you would be dumb enough to return. Yet here you are! Fun, I got something extra special for you," whispers Doctor Sicko into your ear as the vapors he is releasing abruptly changes colors. "Gotta admit at first I didn't know what to infect you with, but as thanks for the idea. I guess I can make up something extra special for you!"

You could feel yourself feeling sicker and more lightheaded. Not to mention your heart starts to feel funny and your lungs start to burn.

"Don't fight it boy, let it take you," says the Doctor now messing with the chemistry equipment. "Since you were nice enough to come back and gave me the idea about the dead. How about this I'll tell you all about what's now flowing inside you!"

"Its a lovely little disease that will sicken plants you infect...and you'll be able to smell it. Come in contact with the infected again and you'll get to devour them for all their worth. I may have also slipped a little something special in there...from one devil fruit user to another. I'm sure your gonna love it!"

"Don't give me that look. I know you have a problem transforming...that next little germ will fix that right up for you! I will confess that its almost entirely untested. What with the moronic Captain over there being unable to turn himself into a machine and all. Unfortunately its not like I can turn my body into one giant germ either. Trust me I've tried. It was QUITE funny seeing all those giant germs though I gotta admit."

"Of course I didn't JUST infect you with those two. How do you like the sound of something more? At first i had to ask myself what would be neat to see in a human and a plant at the same time. Still haven't figured that one out besides a mutagen of some kind. Maybe next time kiddo. On the other hand I DID think of some nifty human and plant viruses. Troublesome part was making them cross compatible. Your devil blessed physique is real annoying like that."

"Of course how could I let such pesky limitations stop the great Doctor Sicko! Of course they didn't...so tell me. How do you like that taste of sweetness? Of that rot?"

"Sadly I am afraid to announce a real crushing truth...your the only one besides me who can carry it safely. Everything else I tried it on died. Horribly even by my standards. Congrats by the way on being the only survivor!"

"You loathsome son of a bitch," you curse now feeling very woozy indeed.

"Now now that disease of rot is no ordinary decaying disease once I improve on it a bit more I can even let it take out inorganic substances how cool with that be! Of course I gotta make sure the MK 2 version wont also kill you. Gotta say that freakish physique of yours while so troublesome is also SO much fun! The challenge...is delicious."

"Just wait awhile before you touch someone. Your still in the contagious stage I'm afraid. I'll get back to you once I work out the kinks enough in the MK 2 wont also kill you. I will admit though that at first its gonna hurt like hell. Which may or may not go away. Just no so long as you feel the pain it means your nerves are still alive and that is a good thing!"

"It probably wont kill you..."

"I am afraid that is about it for all the fun germs I stuffed in you. Ah once you figure out vampiric plants feel free to approach me above removal of that pesky little bug. By then I should have something to replace it with. Same is true when you get your plant transforming figured out. By then the mutagen probably wont be very useful for you."

"On the other hand I would keep that Disease of Decay if I were you. Real nasty surprise for anyone whose dumb enough to try to eat part of you. Plus I'll admit there are some kinks to animal and plant barriers that I need to work on. You just so happen to be the perfect test subject! I eagerly await the breakthroughs you will bring me. After that stuff gets worked out...oh then we can have some REAL fun!"

Laughing Doctor Sicko seems to finish up with his writing and he goes on a walk deeper into the interior of the dying island.

"Now my dead little test subjects...time to see how infecting the dead will work? Puwahmuwahpuwahmuwah. Soon not even the dead shall rest easy from me...oh I so love my job. Oh right your not all dead yet. I can fix that and probably have some bodies back on the ship," after realizing that Doctor Sicko throws out a strange fog before heading back to the ship.

"Dead bodies. Corpses. Skeletons. Zombies. Ghosts. Oh I wonder what unholy undead i can make! Don't have to worry about the immune system...but I am gonna figure out how to reboot the body into being useful again. Best stick with more intact corpses. Skeletons would be a pain. Hm wonder if combining corpses would be doable..."

After that you didn't hear what the Doctor was saying before passing out. When you awoke on a clean bed and wriggled your toes. You were amazed to find you had both your feet back.

"Yup. Sadly we did lose the freakish zombie strength but we are much tougher. Mostly thanks to the healing factor. Sadly it doesn't come free we gotta stay on the meds to keep control of our appetites and regenerating healthy. Admittedly regenerating a whole limb sucks. Much easier if its just some missing flesh and not missing bone. Very unpleasant regenerating missing bone."

"What happened to Doctor Sicko?"

"Well as for you and Doctor Sicko...Doctor Sicko eventually sobered up. You got real sick but then got better but only us Hydra infected bastards are allowed to be close to you given how if what you have spreads to us. We can probably survive. Maybe."

"So Doctor Sicko didn't cure me?"

"Doctor Sicko is still trying to piece together whatever the hell kind of fucked up ideas their drunken doped up minds had come up with earlier. Now the Doctor is raving about mutagens, making inorganic structures sicken, and bringing the dead back to life. Completely considering all those other experiments and studies like us nothing at all compared to those enlightening ideas."

"So in other words I'm in the same boat as you guys?"

"Sort of. Doctor made sure to it wouldn't kill you but unfortunately is still trying to figure out how its even possible you got infected with what you did. Something about plant and animal bodily structuring lack of compatibility for germs. That somehow their drunken doped up mind managed to break. On the other hand Doctor Sicko did suppress your ailments and cleared them up best he could. He said he wouldn't be able to completely fix you, until he figures out how to create a germ that can breach from plants into animals or vice versa."

"Which sounds like it will take some time but not as long as those freaky ideas he has. Once he goes through the experimental data. You'll be up next. So don't expect to wait too long."

"Lovely, gotta admit Doc when he's like that is fucking terrifying."

"You don't need to tell us. We were there remember? Even the old guys said that Sicko never had a bender that bad before. He even beat the shit out of the Captain apparently."

You decide to train and study. Brushing up on the medical and poison books. Strangely you didn't find any books on disease nearby. Soon after you stood up and left the ship. Discovering the ship you were on was the former marine ship. Exiting it and hopping down onto the island. Which was the same one as before...only now the island was completely dead. The only sounds coming from the sea and distant islands nearby which was spared from Doctor Sicko.

On the beach that you hopped on you saw the Captain was doodling in the sand depressed while the first mate Jenkins was nearby.

"Oi Captain this is...unbecoming for one of your station," says the First Mate to the Captain.

"I made a promise and I lost...badly. I don't have the guts to see Doctor Sicko right now to apologize. Let me try to scavenge my pride enough to go through with it..."

"Ah...boss the people who can take on Doctor Sicko when he goes all out is very very few. He possesses the Devil Fruit of Plagues. One of the great four devil fruits of the Apocalypse. Not to mention that Doctor Sicko back then...isn't the one we are all familiar with."

"Aye I know that. A problem Devil Fruit users encounter particularly the Zoan is the limitations of their power. Drugs have been shown to augment that somehow causing the Devil Fruit to react strangely. The Doctor Sicko back then was a different one."

"That is only for Zoans and Doctor Sicko...I don't even know why he did that."

"He was wasted Boss. Probably got jealous over not being able to modify his body and decided to see if pumping himself up with drugs would fix that."

"Get the crew together," suddenly orders the Captain.

"Oh what for boss?" Asks the First Mate Jenkins.

"Training of course. Time to show those fools the martial library I have painfully collected," says the Pirate Captain suddenly getting up and stretching.

Shortly after a bunch of crew were standing around confused over why they were even here. When dummies were placed around and targets were attached to a confusing web of wires hidden among the dead forest.

There stood the Captain and First mate together. When the Captain pulled out a scroll from a bag.

"I am sure some of you morons already know what this is. This is the Secret Scroll of Vibration. It is a unique skill that doesn't rely upon sheer strength but instead great speed and control to unleash devastating power that can pierce right through even the strongest of defenses. It seems to be very simple. All you have to do is vibrate your body part of your choice to fast enough to induce the effect."

"Sounds simple right? But how many of you actually been able to accomplish this seemingly 'simple' feat? In truth its very difficult but thankfully we are all a bunch of monsters here. A normal man would indeed find it very difficult...good thing we aren't them."

With that the Captain raised up a block of machinery that was twisting around before suddenly it started to vibrate violently.
>>
Rolled 77 (1d100)

>>1995775
Then the block of machinery very gently touched an armored dummy...causing it to slice right through like a hot knife through butter.

"I'll confess before I ate the Machine Machine devil fruit I wasn't able to accomplish this art of vibration. Now I can do so easily as you see before you now. Now this is the most simple and aggressive usage. There is second part to the Scroll and I will show you now."

That was when a bunch of machinery flew to the Captain surrounding him in a suit of mechanical armor that then began to buzz with vibrations.

"Just as the vibrations are great at offense they can also be used for defense like so."

That was when the first mate began to unleash a flurry of attacks. Not only were they easily blocked by the armor but they even threw the First Mate back who spat blood with his fists and legs suffering damage from the contact.

"It can cancel attacks and unleash backlash against the enemy. With even better control it even becomes possible to reflect ranged attacks back at the enemy."

"The reason I show you this now is due to its power and none of us are normal. If you wanna stop being a bunch of nameless weak ass minions all the materials in the library are available to everyone free of charge. Secondly nobody gets to skip out on training unless you want a 'private' tutoring lessons and we all know how much that is going to hurt."

"Now as for you ranged attackers...don't be thinking I forgot about you folks." This was when a gun was assembled within the armor.

"Gun arts can be crudely broken into two groups. CQC and Long ranged. Many make the fatal mistake of underestimating CQC gun arts...but that is what pistols are for or in my case built in hand guns." Sure enough small barrels assembled themselves in the Captain's armored fists. A lot of people also think long ranged guns are also weak if your strong enough."

"Which is true if your not using any special skills or munitions. In which case shame on you and in that case you better make up for it in sheer quantity. I am going to show off two skills in particular."

"Firstly Dancing Recoil," with that the Captain suddenly opens fire with a large cannon on his should causing him to fly through the air spinning when suddenly another large cannon shot out completely changing the direction he was headed and stopping his wild spin. Suddenly he unleashed another cannon shot abruptly changing his movements once more.

Finally looking over at where he shot...you were amazed to find each shot was aimed at one of the targets.

"I will confess I used cannons so it would be easier to see, but its perfectly possible with smaller guns as well," states the Captain landing before the shocked crew with ease. "My next skill I intend to show off is Ricochet Shot." that was when the captain fired off two of his built in hand guns in rapid succession in the same direction.

Which was when something strange happened when a strange sound emerged and sparks flew.
>>
Rolled 15 (1d100)

>>1995844
As the two bullets struck each other mid air...and promptly knocked each other off course. Striking two different targets that were completely different from the ones he seemingly aimed at the beginning.

"Long ranged combat is about precision and the unexpected. One doesn't pay attention to a distant sniper nearly as much as one would pay attention to a swordsman right before them with their blade drawn. A fatal mistake."

"Many think that being strong enough or having a good enough defense. Means guns are harmless. They forget that the gunner is not aiming to just hit them...oh no.The gunner is aiming for their weak spots, finding the holes in their defenses, and waiting to do the unexpected. So they can catch them off guard. In that case even a Logia devil fruit user will find themselves in trouble as they wont be able to react in time to activate their power."

"Now I expect to see some results by the end of this period of time. We are laying low but that doesn't mean we all get to be a bunch of lazy bastards. Just because we all are a bunch of freaks that are stronger then the average man doesn't mean there aren't those who can threaten us. I can assure you that the Grand Line even its weakest minions are stronger then any other minion on the Four Blues."

After that the Captain pulled a lever causing all the targets hanging on the wires to start moving about wildly in and among the dead forest. Hiding and moving through cover. Greatly increasing the difficulty in hitting them and he began target practice.

The rest of the crew you included started to train under the harsh gaze of the First Mate Jenkins who was just looking for an excuse kick somebody's ass. You and everyone else tried very hard to not give him that excuse.

You throw yourself into the training. Seeing with your own eyes the kinds of martial arts that existed among the crew. You were surprised at the quality and soon realized there were a number of martial arts unique to certain dojos, families, and even the Marines...that all somehow found their way here. There was quite naturally quite a few illegal martial arts as outlawed by the WG.

Another interesting thing that most piqued your curiosity was the gun skills. Like shooting other bullets out of the air. Reflecting off surfaces to hit the enemy and more. Even Gun Fu that allowed you to fight a fist or sword fighter in melee. One particular interesting skill was having the bullets 'turn' mid air.

There was much for you to study here. Honestly too much. As that wasn't even getting into defensive and movement skills.

Eventually though after practicing with your gun and melee skills. You spent more time on perfecting your devil fruit powers. In this case now when you tapped into 'something' would happen. Unfortunately you had no control of that something. From sprouting leaves, branches, even flowers. To growing vines and wooden limbs. Hell you even accidentally turned your hair into roots.

But at least now you COULD cause a change...even if you couldn't control what said change was going to be or the fact it was probably the mutagen virus that Doctor Sicko on a Bender gave you doing it.

Still was a hell of a lot better off then what you were previously dealing with...as in how hard you were sucking at it. Feels like the Doctor Sicko actually did you a huge favor in terms of your Devil Fruit Power...

Meanwhile down the beach a ways the Captain and first mate were watching the two kid devil fruit users.

"You know Captain any idea on how those two punks should be trained? I ain't know devil fruit user so I don't even know where to start."

"Snake needs to keep focusing on Martial Arts but only after he gets his transforming down. He's a zoan type which are physical. The 3 Eyes though...his power is more like me and Doc's. In that smarts is most important in terms of using it properly. Problem is if we focus on just that he'll be super weak in combat when is tricks wont be able to save him. That is a problem I am familiar with."

"...Then what about him?"

"Teach him sword and whip arts. Try to find the less martial arts that are less specific to a humanoid form. Have him concentrate on those. Also teach him how to shoot a bow, throwing weapons, and gun arts. Besides that once you beat him into the ground don't knock him out. He needs to be awake in order to study. So once his body gives out on him make him hit the books before he can rest finally."

"Sounds rough, just my style what about the rest of them goons?"

"The Hydras need to focus on commonly suicidal and recoil martial arts. Their regeneration will keep them alive long past what a normal man should be able to take. Take advantage of that fact."

"Zombies are the usual but stress the gun arts among them especially. I need zombie gunners. Their stupid strength and toughness allows them to wield absurdly large firearms. Now for the rest of them...what did the Doc cook up exactly?" Speaks the Captain watching the training asking the first mate.

"Brutes and Shades. Big mean bastards but...well lets just say they make the zombies look fast. They are insanely tough and strong but lack the insane regeneration that the Hydras got. Complete brutes the lot of them. Too bad they are a bunch of clumsy oafs otherwise they would be perfect. Plus I am pretty sure they lost some brain tissue."

"Next up are the Shades," spits out the First Mate. "Those eels are the result of Doctor Sicko's perfected Shredder Serum. They got lightning speed, snakelike reflexes, and their agility is out of this world. They move like water. Most of all they are very very fast. Sadly they aren't as strong as the zombies or tough as the Brutes. Their regenerating isn't half bad now given how they can actually survive the backlash from the Shredder Serum.

All the old crew is familiar to why we used to call them Shredders...wasn't pretty. Doctor Sicko says their flaws aren't very many now and they are serviceable enough. Though according to the doc the Hydras are 'prototypes' and need perfecting. Brutes need work too they are way too fucking dumb. I think all those muscles and thick skulls cut off too much bloodflow to their now tiny brains. The former shredders oddly enough are actually the best off according to this entire test batch. They may not be as strong as the zombies but they got speed and their toughness is pretty good especially given their light regenerating ability. Not proper Hydra level but enough to see that they don't get shredded."

"Are the crew still calling the hydras Ghouls?"

"Yup. Has to do with their insane appetites and starved appearances. Plus being former cannibals before Doc fixed that flaw. In their defense they got to get those calories and nutrients from somewhere for their regenerating. Even worse then the those speedy Shady fuckers. Doc says they still need work though. Regenerating is nice and all but they are weak and fragile. While their agility is only meh."

"They are prototypes the fact that they are usable is a true testament to the progress that has been made. How do you think we should train them?"

"Frankly I would of suggest the Shades for speed focused martial arts but here's the thing Captain. Their reflexes and dexterity makes them excellent gunners. All the speed unfortunately takes away from bulk muscle they are lean instead. Still they pack quite a punch mostly due how fast they are. They just don't hit as hard as the zombies if they can't speed up properly."

>>1996784
At least you wont be beaten/trained into into unconsciousness like Snake boy. After all you gotta be awake to study.
>>
Rolled 38 (1d100)

>>1996812
"Now the Brutes I think could beat even a Fishman in terms of strength outside water, and they wouldn't lose out to giants if they weren't so short in comparison, but well...their brains are little small for their bodies. Not to mention they are clumsy oafs. Their fingers are way too meaty to possess hardly any dexterity. However they hit very VERY hard and their toughness is only lacking in terms of their regeneration. Fuckers swing around anchors and chains like they were hallow wood," finishes the First Mate.

"Hm..." begins the Captain scratching his chin. "Teach the Shades Gun Fu with pistols in case they end up confined even those who prefer melee combat. Otherwise stealth and speed martial out all around. Teach the ones talented for ranged combat to use long rifles that can entrench themselves. With their speed and finesse. We turn the sons of bitches into shadow snipers. The melee lovers should obviously be taught assassination martial arts and the like, perfect for speed freaks like them. Also make sure they all know how to set explosives and set up mines."

"As for the Brutes...those chains give me a good idea on how to deal with their lack of agility. Teach them how to burst speed with their great strength as a basis. They may be clumsy but damn it they gotta move very fast in short distances if we want them to actually hit something. Martial arts should be focused towards defense and strength. High recoil is good so long as their tough bodies can take it. They aren't like the Hydras who can just regenerate with ease afterwards. Also teach them to use guns...er cannons actually given their strength and size, but we'll need to modify them. They wont be able to aim them very precisely but we can fix that with bombardment focus and wide spread shots. Now for melee weapon training also teach them to use whips...er chains probably given their strength no matter what. They are gonna need an agile weapon on hand. Otherwise let them use axes or maces to take advantage of that insane strength. Making them use a proper bladed weapons will be very...troublesome not to mention expensive. Unless they have a talent for bladed weapons don't bother."

"Aye sir," mutters the First Mate in shock at the Captain who so nonchalantly came up with such detailed analyses.

"I'm the Captain. If I don't know how to lead properly why would anyone bother following me," complains the Captain in a huff.

"Its just...unexpected Captain. No offense."

"Can you picture how strong they'll be once they have got a grip on those skills? We'll be ready for the Grand Line then."

"With all these monsters I think we already are," disagrees the First Mate.

"That's how I know you've never been to the Grand Line before. I've seen plenty of crews with monsters but many times that still isn't even to save them in the Grand Line. Now if everyone is a monster and knows how to use it properly...then we'll stand a chance."

"For One Piece," Jenkins couldn't help asking.
>>
Rolled 64 (1d100)

>>1996922
"Hah no. You don't even wanna know how strong those monsters are who are close. I mean surviving on the Grand Line in general and well I may add."

"Sounds like you speak from experience Captain."

"Aye I lived on the Grand Line before. I was even born there in fact. Its a downright rough and crazy place. There even the Marines power isn't absolute unlike in the 4 Blues. Too many wildcards and powerful enemies there even for them."

"The Marines in the 4 Blues are awfully weak though."

"That's because all the strong ones get transferred away to the Grand Line. Don't you ever forget that. If someone causes too much of a commotion Marine HQ will respond accordingly."

"Ah...so that is why you are trying to keep such a low profile, trying to keep out of their sight?"

"Nah I just want time to build up a monstrous crew and navy. All the while making sure they don't a send a frigging Admiral after me until I am good and ready or the like."

"Aye Captain. Now excuse me I got to start implementing your new training regime on the crew."

Thus began the Training from Hell for the entire Crew...nobody was spared. Not even the children. Hell especially the children. The First Mate really started to seem like he really hated kids...

Not even when the abandoned Islands were finally left did things become better for the crew. For First Mate still made sure everyone suffered...and trained hard. Even when everyone made it to Narvos the great hub of Marine presence and villainry. The entire crew actually 'celebrated' the possibility of encountering marines...for it would mean they would finally be spared from the hellish training.

Thus the Elusive somehow entered the cursed ship graveyard with ease and found a perfectly hidden cove to dock their ships in. After that most disembarked and headed off.

You wander off to the nice side of town. Going with a very confused zombie carrying a long shopping list about books that need buying. Which made it easy, but not before you were handed a bandana by the first mate who tapped his forehead and said two words, "Cover up". You realized how smart that it is did so. People will notice a three eyed person but some ordinary kid wearing a bandana? Not so much. After that you tagged along with the zombies into the nice side of the island. It was a decent walk through a trash heap, then farmlands, and finally the outer city limits before you reached where the businesses were concentrated. Being right next to the warehouse district and close to the docks. Here the businesses were located and after asking around. You followed the zombie where the books were being sold.

Tons of books. In fact at first you thought they were libraries and not actual bookstores. You walked inside knowing what you were after and having recently gotten payed. Including a very hefty bonus from the Captain himself for the intel and written materials you provided. According to him that 'real' payment will come to you once he gets around to taking advantage of it properly. So what you got was only a 'taste'.

Which in truth was more money you ever had saved up in your life combine and yet he called it a 'taste'. You naturally searched through the books looking for what you were after. Sadly the books about poisons were annoyingly lacking. You'll probably need to go to the bad side of the island to find that stuff.

The zombie while you were searching through the aisles was talking to a hired help and scribbling stuff down for some reason. While you collected a hefty pile of books and paid for them. Which put a bit of a dent in your wallet. Bloody books aren't cheap apparently.

After that you and the zombie moved onto the next story and so on. Soon enough you were struggling carrying a large bag full of heavy books and the zombie written notes have extensively lengthened. The Zombie all the while complaining about "where the fuck am I suppose to find out about 'medical' and 'mechanical' research journals. Plus who the fuck keeps a goddamn list of 'special knowledge worth stealing and preferably poorly protected'."

You were going to zone out but sadly the zombie was helpful enough to carry some of your heavy ass books and thus you were stuck listening to his complaints. You do admit you had a point about that last part. Who in the world would keep a nifty list like that around? You also think its oddly specific and suspicious, but given who your working for that doesn't really surprise you much.

Just as you both were about to head back you paused upon realizing you the zombie dragged you to a publishing warehouse and wait a second aren't those two ships that are docked nearby the ones the Captain didn't curse? What are they doing on THIS side of the island and not the other?

So while the zombie went inside you...

"Oh thanks so what next."

"Apparently we are suppose to meet someone important at some fancy private restaurant. Meet the person and hand off the info I just collected. After that there will be a new task."

"So a delivery then. Fine, well at least we can get something to eat now."

You nearly got lost trying to find that stupid restaurant which turned out to be located on a hill overlooking the sea and city. Real fancy place no wonder the both of you couldn't find it right away.

Heading inside under a reservation you were taken to private room with a view. There you ate and drink while waiting for whoever it is to show up.

The person who shows up is Shady Songs. A tricky asshole who survived getting Doctor Sicko's experiments and is widely considered the 'best' Shade. Less due to skill and more due to smarts. He sits down and the notes the zombie has collected are passed over to him.

"New Orders from the Captain," begins Shady as he digs into the expensive but excellent food. "There is going to be a recruiter on this side of the island, but due to the close proximity to the Marines trouble may occur. For that reason the 'recruiter' is going to be disguised as a bounty hunter trying to hunt down criminal scum. This is bullshit of course but its an excellent cover for why we are poking around and asking around. In order to make the disguise look real we will be teaming up with actual bounty hunters."

"Don't worry these bounty hunters 'should' be safe but just in case we need some muscle on our side. People who don't have bounties on their heads. The deal for this is simple wanted men we find are gonna be given an option. If they refuse they get handed over to the bounty hunters and we get a cut of the profits."

"There is however also another task," this time Shady Sung was looking at you directly. "Captain wants us to find all the places with the best shit. Whether they have valuable knowledge or treasure doesn't really matter. We are to watch and study them. Find out all we can for some kind of big operation the Captain has in the works."

"He wants to plan a bunch of heists HERE of all places? Is he insane? This place has one of the largest Marine bases in all of North Blue!" You ask shocked.

"Boss's orders apparently he's working on something special."

After finishing up his food Shady Sung drops some papers before you two. "Meeting places and maps. I've got to go." After that he disappeared.

Before I go to bed one last post.

While everyone else went to do their job you took advantage of the fact that nobody cares about what a useless kid like you can do. So you felt free to handle your own affairs. In this case trying to track down the stuff on the lists, you were given. Which meant backtracking all the way back to the bookstores and counting all the books you have bought already off the list.

Sadly you soon ran into a problem. A money problem. Most of the stuff you could find except for islands that weren't in the North Blue. Those were very difficult and rare. Not like you didn't try to find them, but alas. While this is a city its a city specialized in shipbuilding. Not like it was a great center of learning.

So you bought a bunch more books kissing goodbye your remaining funds and acquired copies to a bunch of research journals you don't understand. Probably gonna need to ask Doctor Sicko for help with those. They were written strangely and possess many very large niche words.

Next came the grueling process of carrying the entire large sack full of heavy ass books back to the ship on your own. It was hell. Should never have separated from that stupidly strong zombie. They were great for heavy lifting. Instead, you struggled on your own until you stumbled across one of those Brutes. Simpleminded morons that they are due to their now tragically small brains for their large size and quite clumsy, but there is doubting their sheer toughness or raw power.

While one of them was out here you soon found out that after talking with a zombie leading an entire group of the bastards. Apparently, Shady Sung already made it back and delivered the list. These fellows were to purchase the items and haul it all back. Or in this case, the zombie who wasn't an idiot was going to do the buying and brutes were doing the carrying. Fortunately, this meant after grabbing a few choice books you handed the bag off to one of the brutes who easily picked it up like it was nothing but a hallow fluffy pillow.

Stupidly strong bastards the lot of them if only they weren't rendered into clumsy retards they would have been a real force to be reckoned with. Alas. Maybe Doctor Sicko would come up with a solution.

You thus walked all the way back to the ship all on your lonesome. Through the piles of refuse until you stumbled upon the hidden cove. Which was oddly busy given the current traffic for what purposes you don't know because of you're not that important. So you walked up to the first mate and asked him a question you always been wondering since you've met him and now that he's busy you can probably get away with asking him it.

"Hey First Mate why is it that your the only Zombie who doesn't sleep?"

"Uh not even Doc knows the answer to that one or I for that matter. Not even the insomniacs lost the need to sleep. Doc claims it can affect people different for some reason. It's uncommon but not that unheard of."

"Kinda like how some people are immune to certain diseases but not others."

"Oh cool so what's the current situation? Seem awfully busy for a hideout."

"The usual. The captain is recruiting, we need to resupply, and prepare for some heists. Currently we are looking into shipwrights and hopefully, leads for certain mad navigators. So how about you make yourself useful kid and stop being a useless piece of shit."

"What can I possibly do?"

"Simple dig for useful junk and mechanical parts. A lot of refuse gets dumped here and a lot of ships get wrecked nearby. A lot of good stuff gets washed up as a result. Of course, if you're feeling brave you can take a swim into the graveyard and try your luck. Captain claims contrary to popular belief the curse for this graveyard is only strong against ships and not their crews as well."

Looking back at the mountains of debris it didn't take you long to realize that this was obviously a bullshit task.

"Hey don't give me that look. The captain is hurting real bad for mechanical bits and bobs. Of which as one of the most advanced islands in all of North Blue. This island should possess. Thankfully they just so happened to have thrown a whole lot of such things away so all you gotta do is help collect it."

"Where's Doctor Sicko I got something I need him for."

"He left to do is usual help the unfortunate and destitute. Of course, he has bodyguards and he's obviously going to avoid the nice part of the island."

Digging Digging...you know what you need to do as you go fetch your former foot.

Which as turned into a bushy yet oddly straight branched shrub with large sharp leaves. You remember that your ability over plant language has slightly improved. Now you can understand more about good and bad in plant language.

Your foot noticing your approach starts to bristle when you communicate what you plan for it. It pauses for a moment before it sheds a couple branches who've just sprouted some roots. After that, you swear it waves at you as you leave with the branch root things.

Next, you plant the branches randomly through the piles of debris and wait to see what happens.

You weren't sure what you were expecting when suddenly those planted branches started to explode in growth before puttering out when THIRSTY and OH SHIT SALTY SALTY screamed at you. So you got some water and started watering. After that, they kept on growing and growing. Turning into trees.

Hm guess that being stuck in a container really messed with their growth.

Particularly their roots you sensed breaking up the ground and ripping it all apart. The only thing holding them back was the simple lack of water. Naturally, all of this made it much easier for you to go digging for 'treasure' in this case mechanical parts apparently were wanted the most but you even found bits of real treasure too.

You thus spent the day watering your...trees and digging around the roots for the things they have unearthed/made much easier to dig up. You only stopped when people left and dinner was to be served.

After that, you slept.

Meanwhile, your former foot turned bush. Now that it saw the main body was asleep. Suddenly sprouted some feet and walked off the ship approaching the trees. The trees for their part went still after the main body went asleep and slumbered too.

Until they were so rudely awoken by a kick and some plant version of screaming.

"WHAT!" Shouts the trees to the foot bush.

"Hey, you lazy bums cough it up," extorted the foot bush. "I know you got some."

"Fuck you bush we are bigger and need it more."

"Your measly lives are strictly temporary. Cough it up now or I am gonna absorb you lazy fucks early and just plant some new replacements who will be even more reasonable then you bums."

In response, the trees shuddered and grew some fruits that were abruptly dropped. After that, the foot collected the fruits with some leave hands and walked back to the ship.

"See don't forget who's the boss around here. Otherwise, I'll stomp on you little shits." speaks the foot telepathically. Once the foot made it back on the boat it approached the other plants and crushed the 'fruits'. Before burying them in the soil.

"Sorry about it taking so long. Your language is bloody complicated and hard for former animals to understand," apologizes the foot bush. "Here's some proper food and I'll get you guys some more tomorrow night too." After that, the foot bush returned back to its previous spot and got rid of the feet. Before reverting back to normal.

Completely ignoring a dumbfounded and confused zombie who was on watch who saw the entire thing.

"...I knew I shouldn't have drunk so much at dinner," mutters the zombie. "Walking bushes and talking trees. Plants who farm other plants. Next time I gotta stay away from Doctor Sicko's drug stash too...or at least not mix it with booze."

The next morning you got up to a new day.

"Trey Sullivan," you introduce yourself to Gene Glenwood.

Gene Glenwood stood there for a second before replying, "Son of a bitch they ACTUALLY asked your name? Three Eyes? Really they shortened into a nickname? I can't fucking believe that and they just keep on calling me Snake or Snaky Kid. Assholes."

"Uh...no that was purely coincidental," you say.

"Bullshit. I can't believe those assholes actually asked what your name was and not mine."

"Come on its not that bad. Look at the bright side when we get our own bounties how the hell are they going to find out our real names?"

"Uh..." that was when Gene Glenwood suddenly started to slap you on the back and gave you a very sad look.

"What?"

"I take it back. They clearly hate you more then they do me. You're fucked, man."

"I-FUCK," as it suddenly hits you.

"Goddamn these pirates are THEE biggest assholes ever," claims Gene Glenwood. "I think they could seriously win the 'biggest asshole pirates ever' trophy."

"Yeah, dick ass Captain, Doctor who experiments on the crew, Crew who are a bunch of inhuman assholes. First Mate who loves beating up kids and drilling people into the ground because they suck. What a bunch of asshole pirates," you agree.

"Don't forget, being a bunch of zombies who sleep anywhere and everywhere. Along with being able to laugh off having their guts spill out of them or getting shot repeatedly. Assholes the lot of them."

"Yeah or being lied to about how great they are in order to kidnap kids and turn potential recruits into monsters for shits and giggles."

"We both joined a crew of assholes on a haunted pirate ship. God save us both man."

Thus you bonded with Snakebro over the mistake of joining a crew of assholes on a haunted pirate ship together. All for the sake of...adventure.

"So guys why did you ask me to watch the show of two kids beating each other up?" Asks a zombie to another zombie.

"Because of its funny." Answers the other zombie.

"How is it funny?"

"just watch."

The fight between a giant snake and a nerd. Normally you would expect said giant snake to win and at first he did, but then the nerd went into the woods. When the snake tried to follow suddenly trees started to fall...or large branches of said trees. The nearby plants themselves suddenly decided to pick a side. Much to the snake's misery as he was forced to dodge angry tree branches and accidentally 'falling' trees. Only problem was how the fuck was the nerd doing this without touching any of them?

Much to the laughter of the crew watching a nerd run away from a giant snake and the snake trying to dodge the murderous trees. In the end the nerd barely managed to beat the snake because the woods decided to pick a side.

The First Mate watching merely shook his head at the match before muttering about 'useless little punks' under his breath.

After the match two worn out kids were trying to catch their breath and Gene spoke first.

"I swear if those trees suddenly become alive," he pants out.

"Sadly I haven't reached that point yet," you sighed.

"Still how the fuck did the trees themselves join your side? I thought you're a logia."

"I am its just...well they came from my former foot."

"The bush? How did it turn into trees?"

"Hell if I know. Probably because it had more room to grow that way."

"So wait those trees are pieces of you?"

"Pretty much."

"How are not a paramecia?"

"Living typed Logia I'm special like that. What happened with your transforming? Why didn't you go hybrid?"

"You any idea how confusing it is when half your body turns into a snake and the other half is half snake? Confusing as hell to control. I only do it when I am surrounded by enemies because then it doesn't matter how much I flail around. No matter what I will be hitting someone."

"Ah I guess that explains the fight at the Pirate Ship and your fails during training. Always thought it was weird. I thought you were sucking on purpose compared to how good you became at the pirate ship fight."

"Well screw you too. Kinda hard to fail with flailing around when you're surrounded by enemies man. No matter what you're hitting one of them."

"Yeah, I can see the logic in that. What's the deal with going full snake?"

"Build up familiarity with snake movement and capabilities also snake based martial arts."

"You use snake style martial arts?"

"That is what the First Mate Jenkins is having me focus on so yeah. Well, that and poison usage."

"Oh, right venom is mighty helpful. I was able to get out of a few binds before thanks to the heavy usage of poison."

"Yeah but I am not very good at controlling how much I dose people with. Kills them every time. Well except for one of the Brutes but even he needed immediate medical attention."

"You picked a fight with one?"
>>

"Yeah, when you were gone. The only reason I won was that I bit him. They are REALLY strong. I lost to the Shades though. Ghouls meanwhile are a pain in the ass to fight. Fuckers won't stay down no matter how hard you hit them."

"I can't believe you picked a fight with a brute and won. I saw them crush even a ghoul into submission and slapped around a Shade."

"I think you could win against one."

"Why?"

"Your smart and they are well...dumb. In the end, I am sure you'll win. Seriously though you should join in the fights sometime. You can make a killing with the right bets. I made an absolute fortune betting on myself and the rewards are good too."

"I'd rather not. I would lose horribly unless I used a lot of poison."

"I don't know I am sure if you dropped enough trees on a Brute you could win. As for poison...I think it's not against the rules otherwise I would have had to forfeit the Brute fight."

"Still though this crew is full of monsters and I am just a kid. Even if it was a grown man instead of a monster my odds of winning still aren't that great. Wait, is fighting dirty allowed?"

"You ARE aware of the Captain's favorite fighting style right?"

The First Mate is Brutal Bullying and the Captain's is Dirty Cheater. Doctor Sicko meanwhile is No Fighting Allowed."

"Ahahah for a pacifist though you gotta admit Doc's fighting style is brilliant."

"Yeah, but what a huge let down though. You think it would be bad ass but it's solely the Art of No Fighting Allowed."

You decide to take a walk on the island looking for plants to take samples of. One of the things you notice right away is the...unusual plants growing close to the shipwrecked graveyard. They were very...unusual. Some of them were ghostly and otherwise creepy looking. Honestly, at first you assumed they were all dead until you touched one. You could sense...it was very much alive. So you traveled around through the mountains of debris and wrecked ships that crashed. Digging through their carcasses for unusual plants and mushrooms. It took you awhile but eventually, you collected quite the range of unusual specimens.

After that, you headed towards the better side of the island that. To take a look at the plants there. At first it seemed pretty normal but there had to be something that made this island worth turning into a shipyard hub but what? Poking around the trees and some ditches you found out what it was. The trees on this island you noticed right away something was off about them. There was also something off against the strange plants growing in the ditches that people went out of their way to harvest. Examining the ditch plants you discovered their entire bodies were extremely fibrous and had long fine lines throughout. Perfect for making cloth and rope from. They grew like weeds around here.

The other part was the trees. They had a strange sheen to their leaves and pressing against them. You felt something special that you never felt in another tree before. An extremely strong vitality and roots so deep they reached into the ocean. An entire VAST network of trees...connected by the root system. Whenever a 'tree' gets chopped down more emerge from the roots. Shooting upward. They had no fruits for they used their roots to breed.

To think the only possible use they could have thought of for these was as lumber for ships. You never sense such strong vitality and powerful roots. They drank the salt water from the ocean to sustain themselves. Not needing any fresh water from the rain. Their roots crushed the rocks into powder in order to absorb their hidden nutrients.

They were...beautiful.

The entire forest was connected. They ate rock and drank deeply of salt water in equal measure. Their vitality was incredible. You could sense that the reason they were so popular was due to their fast breeding nature and rot resistance. What the morons clearly didn't know was the reason why they were rot resistant was that the wood was used feeding off the sea water and hence quite resistant.

They were are the most unique thing you found on this side of the island. Sadly everything else was much more mundane even if you did find quite a few rare specimens. Still a decent haul even if it did take all day and several trips. Especially trying to find a frigging tree to take with you. You ended up digging up a 'sprout' and chopping off some roots connected to it. Which was hard work and took awhile.

It wasn't like you could have had a brute rip one out of the ground. Gotta keep it in good condition. Plus you weren't sure where you would put an entire fully grown tree. By the time you were finally finished you were starving.

Even with taking a break for lunch to eat at the ship and munching on some snacks. Fortunately, there was plenty to eat. After that, you spent time collecting soil and acquiring crude pots to put them in. Before finally, you were able to rest.

The next day meanwhile things seemed to be finally slowing down. Now the crew present was painstakingly tearing through the mountains of debris and shipwrecks. You could see a large pile of junk, chains with anchors along with other scrap metal, mechanical parts, treasure, and...why is there a large pile salvaged timber?

You weren't sure what to think. I mean you could understand the mechanical parts and timer by why the other stuff?

You realize you need equipment to take care of your plants. Particularly your rare specimens. You head towards the bad side of the island to search for them realizing that the good side is most unlikely to have equipment suited for poisonous plant rearing. Plus it was much closer than the other.

That was where you went first. Through the shipwrecks and mountains of debris before reaching the 'bad' part of the island. First recgonizable not because of the clear criminal influences but of poverty and the stink of heavy pollution from nearby factories. Heading deeper in you soon found yourself surrounded by thugs thinking a kid as easy pickings. Unfortunately for them this isn't the first time you been robbed and much like the previous. They soon discovered the joys of being poisoned.

After that the robbers became the robbed and you continued on. Happy that your previously near empty purse has just been refilled. After that you started asking and looking around. Trying to find the specialty items you need. It took a little time but soon you ended up in a bazzar. Where if you looked closely there were an awful lot of shadies items being bought and sold. More importantly there was not a speck of law enforcement nearby. Here you should hopefully find it or at the very least find out where it can be bought.

>>2009326
Thanks to 90+ rolls you have an excellent if small collection of rare plants. Sadly they are more on the mundane side due to not being from the Grand Line and the fact you have only visited 3 islands to harvest from.

In terms of special effects you have to study them. However once you do you'll have a much easier type replicating it with your power because you'll not be completely bullshitting it from nothing at all. Other benefits include having a better idea of how plants function making it that much easier for to copy. The rare plants are rare most likely this either means the requirements to make them grow are difficult to attain or more likely that they have some very helpful abilities. Which made humans drive them into being an endangered species. Maybe even both.

You asked around a lot talking to the poison vendors who at first were confused about what you were requesting, but finally, a few of them informed you the guy you should be talking to is their supplier's supplier. Someone who provides the materials to the poison makers who provide their materials to the sellers like them. After finding all this out you soon realize this was going to take awhile. Due to the obvious illegality of the materials in question makes it vastly harder fortunately for you are part of a pirate crew. Problem is you aren't well known enough to have your own bounty and hence don't need a recommendation. Meaning you need someone to vouch for you. Thus you started looking around until you could find one of the crew. After finding one of them you asked them about someone who was...notorious enough to be able to successfully vouche for you.

According to them besides the Big Three Captain, Doc, and First Mate. There are some 'new' guys who are notorious enough to work. The Demonic Duo terrible twin gunners, Shady Sung, Glutton, Rotters, Giant and Wiper. Of those big wigs most are on business from the captain or enjoying their vacation. In the vicinity there is Demonic Duo and the Giant. You set out to search for the Demonic Duo.

Supposedly cursed but you know that to be a lie as Zane is really the cursed one. The Demonic Duo you found them by following the gunfire. Somehow you knew deep down those two wouldn't be able to resist shooting at something. In this case they picked a fight with an entire gang that is threatening to suck an entire crew of pirates into the brawl.

Fortunately for all those about to be involved you had your poisons. A few poison globes throws later and some shouting on your part. You were able to breakup the fight and right when those two were about to slip away...you got in their way.

"Woah now you two owe me from keeping this 'brawl' of yours from growing out of control and troubling the rest of the crew. I need you two for something."

The two gunners with their piercing eyes, excessively large hats, and long cloth masks stared down at you with an unending glare. However you stared right back.

Thus began a staring contest. One that they would win if the other needed to blink. Sadly your half plant and plants don't blink. Naturally you won the contest and they deflated a bit before following after you in perfect syncing step.

Fucking hell that is creepy. The entire time following behind you they didn't once step out of sync. Their presence also sent anyone who thought of taking advantage of a weak kid scurrying away after just one look at them. The two didn't seem human which is saying something given the crew. Though come to think of it you never did see them get turned by Doc into something else. They are just naturally disturbing like that.

Soon you made it to the shady poison lab in the baddest part of town. Down the factories pollution so nobody was going to notice the extra poison.

Kinda of a great location come to think of it. Nobody was going to realize the truth unless they like you. Explicitly knew the poison makers work out this abandoned factory. With the scary duo backing you. The door soon opened and...inside a vast laboratory was visible. Churning out poisons as product and not as a side effect. There was even a pipeline that went the other way around bringing in the polluted waters into here where they were filtered for the poisonous elements. Brilliant. The resulting 'wastewater' was actually much cleaner and exited once more.

Fucking hell whoever came up with this operation is a frigging genius. You can't help but applaud them as a fellow poison user. With the duo backing you and the guide that was a guard you were taken deeper into the facility before stopping before one of the poison makers who carefully garbed themselves for protection.

"Whose this," asks one of the makers.

"New kid with a thing for poisons and wanting to find the poison grower," answers the guard.

"Oh...smart choice lad," chuckles the poison maker behind his mask and a special suit. "Just because your a weak kid doesn't mean you gotta be a weak fighter eh? You'll fit right in."

"I like him already," calls out one of the poison makers down below.

"Me too," says another.

"The poison grower is not an easy fellow to meet sadly. He's a bit unpopular and eccentric for his growing of poisons instead of drugs. The drug pushers know better than to mess with us and we have our niche of course," chuckles the poison maker who came to speak to with you.

"I just need to ask him about equipment for growing poisonous plants and mushrooms," you reply back.

"Oh...I think he might make an exception for you then, I'll give him a call."

"Quick question who was the genius who thought up this entire operation? It's brilliant!"

"Doctor Toxic is the nickname nobody knows the real one. Not even us and we work here."

After that, the Poison Maker headed down back into the poisonous vapors lurking down below and you heard the ringing of a den den mushi before an answer. You didn't hear the exact words spoken but soon it ended and the poison crafter came back.

"He said he'll be making an early supply drop and will pack some additional tools of the trade for you to peruse."

"So how long?"

"His ship takes some time to arrive but its a fast one. Has to be given the product he's smuggling ehehe."

"I'll come back later then. Still got to shop for stuff on the other side of the damned island. After that, I shall return."

"Might be here by then," shrugs the poison crafter. "Probably."

Fortunately, the finding the other growing related equipment wasn't nearly such a pain in the ass. Albeit not very cheap and there were quite a few tools. Fertilizers and even special soil/water to get. All and all, not a cheap expense.

After that, you returned and sure enough at the 'empty' factory. There were some wagons and what appeared to be an honest farmer.

Who turned out to be not so honest according to the poison maker who informed you 'that was the guy'. You naturally approached him and you saw bushels upon bushels of toxic plants. Notorious for their potent and mild poisons. You also saw something concealed by a tarp. Upon meeting him and introductions were made. He pulled the tarp back and revealed some familiar tools and some not so familiar.

"When you get down to it we are farmers of poison. Our plants are harmful to us and many other beings. To maximize yields you must familiarize yourself with careful management far above usual plant growers and companion planting. So they would suppress each other's weakness to certain pests. Finally, the fertilizer themselves that we use are different in that optimum fertilizers carry compounds to poisons the plant use. If the fertilizer is rich in the right compounds then the plants themselves will become far more poisonous then they otherwise would. You were right to look for a specialist in growing poisonous plants. If you did it the 'normal' way you would inevitably poison yourself and what plants you could gain wouldn't be as potent as they otherwise could be. Not to mention not as much."

"And naturally none of it is going to be cheap because much of it is illegal or otherwise difficult to attain yeah?"

The shady farmer merely smiled.

...problem is your funds are severely depleted. Luckily an unexpected rescue came in the demonic duo appearing and plopping down a pile of treasure. Speaking one word each and then the other spoke one word. Creating sentences they spoke first to you.

"Captain says this will come directly out your future pay." Then to the farmer. "Doctor Sicko and Machine Captain send their regards to Doctor Toxic and Toxins Grower."

The shady farmer flinched twice at the two names and then twice more when they brought up the other two names before speaking "And you two are?"

"Why we are the Duo," this time they spoke in perfect unison.

"Here I thought you two creeps died. So you joined up with a pirate crew? What happened to be bounty hunters and honorable duelists?"

"Duelality nearly ceased if not for Doctor Sicko. Thereby obliged to join the crew to repay our debts. We would not be US if there if there is only I."

"Why can't that pirate crew be normal pirates. What people who aren't already freaks get turned into them once they join that twisted crew. Guess you two got off light. You were allowed to keep your humanity...and this kid what about him?"

"Half Human...sort of. Well, I never was precisely human to begin with though," you answer.

"Lovely not even children are spared. Typical."

You soon bought the items you needed at a large borrowed sum. At least you weren't charged with interest because the Captain still 'owed' you for the finds on the smuggler ship according to him. The duo as it turned out brought with them a hulk who carried everything for you. The due didn't stick around again and vanished.

You followed him back to the ship where you found a screaming Captain who was desperately searching for his lost devil fruit. Strangely the devil fruit stolen was the Corpse Corpse Devil Fruit...

Yet for some reason, the Captain was still making a big deal of it. Plus it was late at night...probably stolen then. Why someone would still that devil fruit of certain death over the other one you have no idea. They were clearly skilled though given all the crew who were busy that were close to the ship. The perp snuck right past all of them and made off with a devil fruit.

You attend to your plants. Now you have gotten a bit better at the plant language. You still can't understand the details of 'water', 'soil', and 'sun'. But you know when it is too much too little and so on. You meanwhile ignore the Captain who ran off and the crew wandering what they should do since they have no idea where the thief could of gone. After a while, they just shrug and get back to work. Afterward some search parties headed off in different directions and some backup follows the Captain. You thus took the time to do what you can to your plant collection.

Meanwhile deep in the woods, the Captain stops freaking out and runs to a stop. Before turning towards the bad side of the island."If I was bitch ass thief who stole a devil fruit where would I go...you motherfuckers THINK you can RIP ME OFF! No wait that is the obvious choice. A devil fruit is small easy to hide. Head back to the good side of the island hitch a ride easy peasy...however, if they were that fucking smart they wouldn't have stolen the devil fruit that kills the eat. They would have taken the other one instead."

"Get down to it clearly an idiot is behind it albeit a sneaky one. If I were an idiot where would I go...and why would I have the guts to steal from a pirate's crew? My men didn't report any nearby ships and we are docked right in the heart of the cursed ship graveyard, but then again we ARE talking an idiot here. Someone that stupid wouldn't be surprised they thought it a good idea to swim through that. On the other hand, if I were dumb and not suicidal...I am gonna bet on the not suicidal option for my own sake."

"If he was though he would still have to go part of the island because it is 'safer'. If he was less suicidal he would take the much safer route overland. No matter what this means he's on that side of the island. Someone that gutsy either has the power or the backing to do it and since he's dumb he won't be smart enough to lie low."

"In that case MOTHERFUCKER, I AM COMING FOR YOU!" Screams the Captain as he charges off. At first, this didn't do anything but then...mountains of debris started to shake and shudder. Pieces of shipwrecks started to shake as parts flew off or even directly exploded. Soon entire mountains of debris exploded as broken bits of machinery are pulled out of them. As if they were attracted by a gigantic magnet.

As all these bits of machinery flew off they started to combine and shudder. Smashing themselves together to create unholy whole pieces that started to combine together once more assembling themselves into completed twisted works that fused together into a huge abomination that comes alive and bellowed, "Motherfucker who stole from ME I am COMING FOR YOU!" The giant machine man kept on charging forward smashing through mountains of debris and trees like it were nothing. Heading towards the bad side of the island.

Meanwhile back at the haunted ship a bunch of cursed pirates starting cursing and others cheered having won the bet. While a three-eyed kid on a ship tended peacefully to his plants before being so rudely disturbed.

"The Captain is officially ANGRY! The RAGE Machine has awoken!"

Soon snail sirens alarms started screeching and orders came through from the Captain himself. "ALL FORCES I HEREBY ORDERED TO COMMENCE WITH OPERATION FROZEN ROBIN. TEAM D IS HEREBY DISBANDED FOR I SHALL DO IT PERSONALLY IN THEIR STEAD! INSTEAD TEAM D IS PROVIDE ME BACK UP. EVERYONE ELSE TO YOUR STATIONS!"

"You heard the Captain," roars the First Mate. "Get to it! If you fail you'll be left behind to provide us a distraction and get caught by the Marines if you're lucky! Now MOVE out."

Meanwhile, Snake Kid approached Three Eyed kid before departing. "Keep the uh...ships secure. I am heading out."

"Oh you too then? What for?" You ask him.

"Gonna help rob the Marine Shipyards. Probably steal a couple ships if possible."

"...That...that is awfully ballsy."

"Not really. All the strong marines are in the Grand Line dealing with the Pirate King's fallout bullshit. I hear the crew saying its probably for a distraction though."

"For what though?"

"No idea. Captain likes his plans but apparently, he has other business to attend to. Originally he was supposed to help see through a couple things but now I guess the First Mate and a few others are gonna do it in his stead. Well later."

"I don't have to go?"

"Nah you were put on ship duty because of your weak."

You work on your plants while keeping an eye on the ship though you are curious about what kind of technique the Captain is using and ask about it.

"When the Captain gets angry enough he uses his special technique Rage Machine to form a giant mech which he pilots. He rarely uses it except for when he's pissed."

"Is it strong?"

"To date, its his most powerful technique Captain doesn't like using it because makes him too much of a target as you clearly see even from here."

...Yeah that he is. That he certainly is.

Meanwhile at the Captain's location. "YOU MOTHERFUCKING THIEF I AM GONNA KILL YOU NICE AND SLOW IF YOU DON'T RETURN ME MY DEVIL FRUIT!" Roars the Captain over loudspeakers to the bad side of town.

"Well if that happened to me I too would be pissed," mutters a Pirate Captain at the shaking walls in the bar. "Say guys who do you think robbed him?"

"Whoever it is they are very dead. First time I have seen something like that fucking hell it's like an overgrown cyborg," mutters a dark stranger.

"Giant Cyborg?"

"Nah can't be I saw him build itself up from the scrap heaps."

"Impossible devil fruits don't exist they are a myth!"

Sadly their conversation was never finished for the Captain has arrived.

"EITHER THE THIEF GETS BROUGHT TO ME OR I WRECK ALL YOUR SHIT WHEN I GET THERE! I KNOW THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE HE'S ONE OF YOUR CREW SO DON'T THINK I AM GONNA BE LETTING A SINGLE BOAT LEAVE HERE TILL I AM FINISHED!"

"Does he really intend to fight everyone," asks a pirate staring at the huge incoming junk Mecha.

"Certainly sounds like it...fuck how are we suppose to fight something that big?" Wonders aloud a leaf shaking in the wind.

"Bombs lots and lots of bombs," answers someone grabbing kegs of gunpowder.

At the other side of the island suddenly a string of robberies started soon after Marines were dispatched to the opposite side of the island. Thereby luring yet more marines out who were than ambushed. In response, the Marine HQ suddenly found itself unsure on what to do and called for reinforcements. The perps meanwhile began a crime spree and quickly started assaulting their positions. WIth Marines reporting about 'monsters' coming at them. Confusing the Marine HQ even more.

Not too long later a sudden crack of thunder boomed out. The problem was there weren't any storm clouds...and it came from the mecha's direction. As if it say this wasn't a coincidence it rose its arms and fired another loud delayed crack. Unleashing a strange beam and lightning coursed throughout its forearm before firing.

"I SAID NO ESCAPING ON SHIPS ALLOWED UNTIL I GET MY FUCKING DEVIL FRUIT BACK YOU HEAR ME NOW?"

Meanwhile at the Marine HQ on the island the officers didn't quite know what to do.

"A giant cyborg appeared on the opposite side of the island and at the same time, we are suddenly suffering attacks from a gang of monsters on this side. Problem is this doesn't match any known threat. There aren't any giant cyborgs or monster crews to date. Do we have any matches from Main HQ?" Wonders aloud a Marine Commander.

"Afraid not they also don't have any records of crews like this or a giant cyborg. We got reports that the Giant Cyborg was...assembled on site from junk." Replies a nearby officer.

"Devil fruit user? Figures. Hm Devil Fruits that can mess with machinery certainly a good number of those. Think by any chance its Ivan?"

"Unlikely. Such a creation would require a significant technological background. During his encounters with the Marines and other criminals. It was commonly noted he couldn't properly utilize his power due to his lacking engineering skill not to mention his stealthy finesse. This is the exact opposite of what we are dealing with here. Not to mention while his crew is strong and tough they aren't monsters. Just high quality."

"So it's a wild card...goddamn it by the time we can get a vice admiral here they'll be long gone. All our strong marines are dealing with the pirate bullshit in the Grand Line. All the guys we have out here are too weak cut it there."

"Prepare to bombard the giant from the sea. If its truly a devil fruit user he won't be able to swim. Pull back our weaker forces sent to investigate the Mech. Reinforcements are to first unload troops and then join in the bombardment. Send out are stronger marines who can affect the giant out and have the others reinforce our current lines. Try to push to monsters out. The last thing we need is to cause any further panic or allow them to dig in. Trying to dig them out will be a nightmare. As for the robberies....if they are within the perimeter then investigate. Otherwise, we'll have to wait till later. Can't divide our forces too much right now."

"Yes sir," says the Officer and soon other Comm Officers started to give out orders to the Marines throughout the island.

Soon the Marines began to offer stiff resistance against the monstrous crew and their elites were headed straight for the Captain. Meanwhile at the bad side of the Island the criminals were opening fire upon the Mecha blowing bits of it off and angering the Captain as he lashed out.

"So this is how its gonna be huh? I was planning on giving you some time to find the culprit but find. I'll just crush you all while I am at it," with that massive amounts of cannons appeared on the mecha and returned fire. Saturating the places that attacked him with cannon fire. Much to the screams as the attack continued on and threats came rushing at him from below together. "Bah typical use the barrage as a cover for your forces arriving underfoot. Too bad for them I saw this coming."

That was when blades and chains emerged from its legs that started spinning. Instantly proving itself to be a kill zone for any who try to make their way through it. "So how about it now are you willing to help find my missing DEVIL FRUIT!" Shouts the captain only to suddenly be interrupted by a sudden hail of cannon fire from the sea. Blasting his mecha.

"ARGH," the Captain suddenly found himself having to split his return fire and whirled around just in time to see the incoming marines. "Ah nice try you little shits Eat Destruction Cannon," the Captain raises his arm that morphs into a huge cannon that begins to crackle with electricity before firing. Instantly cutting a long line through the ground as it obliterated everything in its path. Some of the Marines dodged in time especially thanks to the windup time before firing.

The pirates behind him began to throw each other past the whirring leg blades and up to his torso. Seeing this the surviving Marines soon did the same. Even though the two fought each other as much as they attacked the Captain. Chunks of the Mecha were thus being blown off from afar and knocked off by the fighters fighting on the body.

In response, the Mecha's armor suddenly started to shudder, shake, and vibrate. Knocking off boarders and helping to counter their attacks. The Mecha regardless was clearing suffering some damage despite its powerful rampage. The Captain did not stop as he charged into the city and knocked buildings down in his rage. Sinking any boats that tried to flee and returning barrages with his own. His path was that of destruction forced yet more people out. To either attack him as well or to flee far away.

His rampage had another purpose of course...and that was providing a distraction. Which it was doing so splendidly. As a certain crew of pirates took advantage of their Captain's Rampage. To perform robberies and attack Marines for purposes as of yet unknown.

At the haunted ship meanwhile stood a kid tending to his plants and some watchmen crew eating snacks while watching the show. Occasionally cheering and bets being made.
