After a failed attempt to fool the bandits they force you to activate the enchantments on the Uthaninain Armour. The sorcerer declares he can sense its enchantments are active and the bandit leader dons the armour.
"Haha, yes! With this armour I'm even more invincible!" He turns to you, "Thank you for your service Christof, It's always nice to have a helping hand. Now why don't you be a nice little man and take your girl and get out of here while I'm still in a generours mood?"
One of the bandits tosses you your inventory. All the Talons have been stolen from it although you're not really in a position to take them back. You untie and unblindfold Alina and leave the camp with her. The bandits seem to be packing up their camp.

You walk in silence until you're a good distance from the outlaws and Alina says "I'm sorry Christof, I really messed up there didn't I?"

The scrolls are just single use items that cast a spell, I forgot to add them to the inventory list in episode 10, although they probably wouldn't have helped since those spells only affect one person each.
The chromatic potions make your eyes glow red and give you a distorted magical sounding voice.

>"introduce yourselves, give me your best action pose, and tell me why I should hire YOU" to all three

Hey boss, The name's Kilroy, I'm an experienced scout and infiltrationist with a wide array of skills all at your disposal for a mere six payments a month!

I am Salaman the Spectacular. I'm sure my expert conjuration skills and monolithic intellect makes me more than qualified for umm, whatever this is.

I'm Ulric! I have a sword!

(You have enough Charisma for 3 followers)

>"Next"
>Ulric

> I'm Ulric! I have a sword!

I like the cut off this guys jib...

Voting for swordbro...
>>
>>1969628
I would say that compatibility with Alina is paramount, followed closely with usefulness in keeping us alive.
Scouting ahead, providing stealth and, more importantly, intel, makes Kilroy a top pick.

Salaman sounds like they could provide much needed offensive magic, maybe, and the intelligence to not, say, walk directly into a bandit camp and demand they surrender to us for no reason. Maybe.
But then, Ulric does have that sword.

I vote Kilroy, then Salaman, then Ulric.
Depending on if they take speculative pay as we only have 38 Talons.

Also, what are our current paying questhooks?
I might dig them out if nobody has them handy.
>>
>>1969628
My votes are Salaman and Ulric, I sense a team forming.
>>
>>1969644
Right now you basically have:
Wipe out harpies (they could be even more dangerous than the bandits)
Do bounties for Hunter's Lodge

You have a couple unvisited locations on the map.

Plus you're free to just explore the wilderness of Aflor and hope you trip over a giant spider lair full of treasure or something.

>>1969639
>>1969644
>>1969666

So the votes are
1 Ulric
1 Kilroy
1 Salaman and Ulric
>>
>>1969671

A reminder that we don't have a great deal of disposable income at the moment. So taking on a bunch of mercenaries at once may not be a great idea...

Incidentally, OP what are the rates they charge for their services?

I am officially changing my vote from Kilroy>Salaman>Ulric to Kilroy>Ulric>Salaman

Also:

Kilroy:

Salaman:
"Oh, I'd like to be paid in arcana, magic tomes and magical items that are useful for casters. You can keep all the gold as long as you pay for my lodging and healing etc."

Ulric:

>Salaman:
>"Oh, I'd like to be paid in arcana, magic tomes and magical items that are useful for casters. You can keep all the gold as long as you pay for my lodging and healing etc."
As we are also interesting in learning spellcraft, we may need to negotiate this along the way, but definitely seems reasonable.
