Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
Karn and Meloka meet a powerful toddler when choosing Chaya's fate, then talk with Prince Vegeta and learn of the existance of the Hive Queen. You then aid the Saiyan scientists in destroying a rogue prototype, then leave your ship and Battle Droids in the care of the Head Scientist. Then you take Silva Zoldyck easily in one-on-one combat. After you meet Zeno Zoldyck, you go down to the arena and spar Meloka, then you both fly off and enjoy your night together. As we rejoin Karn, him and Meloka are waking up in a crater they'd made during the night's -ahem- activities.

"Mmm. Mrrrnnn." Meloka mumbles, rolling over off of you and pushing herself to her feet, then holds a hand down to you.
"Morning yourself." you mumble light-heartedly, grabbing Meloka's arm and her helping you up to your feet. You both leap up and out of the crater you'd made last night, looking around and gathering your clothes and getting dressed. You toss Meloka her scouter and clip yours on as well, then activate it.

You see the powerlevels of your fellow Saiyans around, as well as Meloka's beside you. But they're basically background noise compared to the colossus that is Freeza. His 530000 powerlevel dwarfs everyone else, but what's happening is what catches your attention: Freeza is finally landing!

You turn to Meloka, she's staring into her scouter's display. Yeah, she knows what's about to happen. She turns to you, looking terrified.
"Karn..." she says, voice wavering in fear. "He-He's coming."

Meloka's obviously freaking out, you need to calm her down before you both go meet Freeza. You reach down and simply pick Meloka up, one arm around her shoulders the other behind her knees, then take to the air.

"Karn what the hell are you doing?" she shouts out at you, clutching on in surprise.
"We don't want to be late do we?" you ask, flying over the empty wastelands towards the city.
"Yeah but I-I'm scared Karn." she hesitatingly admits, looking at you with eyes full of worry. "He could destroy all of us, and not even blink. What if-"

"Meloka." you say in your command voice, her starting at the sudden change. "We're going to go up there, meeting with Freeza, then he's going to leave the planet. We're going to be fine Meloka, I promise."

"Yeah... Yeah you're right." she says, shaking her head and smiling at you. "We're gonna make it through this."

From there she twists free, flying alongside you as you both make your way to the city, seeing Freeza's ship just setting down and the ramp descending.
"Where do we go?" Meloka asks you, looking down on the scene. You see the king about 20 meters away from the ramp, Prince Vegeta by his side. The other Saiyans are lined up, forming a path between Freeza's flagship and the Royal Palace.

"Come on." you say, dropping from the air to land behind King Vegeta as Meloka follows you, landing as the Emperor of the Universe descends down the ramp. Everyone bows as Freeza comes into sight, the king rising first.

"Greetings, Lord Freeza, and welcome. I trust your trip went well?" King Vegeta asks.
"Well enough, King Vegeta." Freeza replies, still subtly mocking the king's title. I trust the preparations are in order?"
"Of course." Vegeta replies, then gestures behind him as he turns to the side. "Would you prefer to take our business inside?"
"That would be acceptable. Lead the way, Saiyan King."

King Vegeta bows again, then turns to the palace and begins walking. You, Meloka, and Prince Vegeta follow, then Freeza, Dodoria and Zarbon follow you all. Your group walks in silence, the only sounds are your alls' footfalls and Freeza's hoverchair, walking through the halls until you all arrive in the Throne Room. Freeza looks around, examining the carnage.

"Seems I'm late to the party." he says, floating out of his chair and onto Vegeta's throne. "Seems you had quite the battle in here, Karn."
"Yes Lord Freeza." you reply, wondering how he knew. "Silva Zoldyck has quite the grudge against me. He attacked me here yesterday, and I won."
"You... beat Silva?" I must say I'm impressed." Freeza says, then turns to King Vegeta. "So I've look over your request, and I find it acceptable. Leaving you Saiyans here on a world where nothing grows and food has to be imported is a much larger financial drain than relocating your people to a new world. So congratulations, King Vegeta. The Saiyans will have a new homeworld. All that is left is choosing what you shall name this new world."

"New Vegeta." King Vegeta says without hesitation.
"No, New Salda." the prince says, speaking up. "In honor of our original homeworld."
"Well well, seems we have a deadlock." Freeza says, chuckling. "So for a tiebreaker, hmmm. Oh! You, Super Saiyan. You break the tie. New Vegeta or New Salda?"

"Ohh? Oh splendid!" Freeza says, clapping his hands together. "Father vs Son, King vs Prince. Very well, you both heard him. Whoever yields first loses. Ready?"

Prince Vegeta looks between you, Freeza, and King Vegeta, looking worried. While King Vegeta simply stands there, glaring down at the prince.

"Begin!" Freeza says, dropping his arm like a referee.

"Stand down." King Vegeta says, glaring down at his son. "You can't beat me."
Prince Vegeta looks up to his father, slightly trembling, and unable to advance.

"Karn..." Meloka says quietly, turning to you. "He can't do it. He's still afraid of his father. You have to help him!"

"Vegeta! Remember your training!" you shout out, both Saiyans turning to look at you. The king merely raises an eyebrow at you, while the prince looks to you shocked. He turns back to his father, fists clenching as he raises his head to face him. The prince drops down into his fighting stance, exuding confidence.

"Alright then, have it your way!" the king shouts, raising a hand and firing an Energy Wave at the young prince. Young Prince Vegeta doesn't even flinch, he simply holds a hand up and flexes his knees, blocking the attack with a single hand. The wave detonates against his hand, kicking up a smoke cloud around the young prince. Before the king can fire again, Prince Vegeta blasts out of the cloud, and delivers a savage cross to the king's face, sending him flying back and crashing into the wall.

The king looks stunned, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and staring down at the blood on his glove. The prince looks just as stunned, looking between his father in the wall and his own hand.

"Atta boy Vegeta!" Meloka shouts out, pumping her fist. "You've got this!"
The prince turns to you both and smiles, as the King frees himself from the wall, spitting blood.
"That's enough!" he shouts, aura flaring. "I won't stand for this." With that, the king shouts out and dashes at the prince, looking angry. The prince settles down into his stance, ready to intercept.

They clash, and its apparent to everyone who has the advantage. The king can't touch the prince, the young Saiyan Prince dodging every single one of the King's attacks and making it look easy. After a few more moments of dodging, the prince strikes. Ducking a straight bunch aimed at his head, Prince Vegeta delivers a brutal uppercut to his father's gut and winds the older Saiyan. King Vegeta clutches his gut and falls to a knee, clearly in pain. Prince Vegeta simply stands there, watching. The king forces himself to rise to his feet, then glares down at Prince Vegeta.

"I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU, BOY!!" King Vegeta shouts, aura flaring angrily around him. The prince takes a half-step back, looking worried. The king focuses his energy into his hand, and suddenly an Energy Blade springs from his arm and he leaps at his son.

"Be careful!" Meloka shouts to the prince, the young Saiyan ducking the king's first swing, then backflipping away from the backswing, landing in his stance again.

"You've got this!" you cheer the prince on. "Make us proud Vegeta!"
He starts a bit when you say this, distracted for a moment. King Vegeta tries to capitalize on his split-second distraction, but the prince reacts quicker. He turns back toward his father's charge, ducking the thrust aimed for his head and grabbing his father's arm, the prince tossing him over his head and slamming the king down hard on the ground. Before King Vegeta can react, the prince stomps down hard, ruining his fathers shoulder with an audible crunch.

Everyone appears surprised, even Freeza's eyes widen at the display. The king grunts out in pain, Energy Blade dissipating as he clutches his now lame shoulder. Prince Vegeta leaps clear, before the King can recover and retaliate. King Vegeta rises slowly to his feet, his eyes betraying the rage boiling inside.

"You, you'd dare?" King Vegeta says, eye twitching, glaring down at his son. "How dare you harm me!"
His aura flares as he shouts, preparing something.

Improving our ki control and stamina should probably be our focus, since we've mostly pushed for power and endurance, it would also be a good idea to learn to get used to the super saiyan form, since that'll increase how long we can use it, minimalize negative effects, and increase the energy output. Karn has power but it's clear he can't hold on to it as long as he'd like, so these are probably main focus for now

You stay quiet, watching the prince fight this out. Its his battle, you don't want to distract him now that the fight has escalated. So you simply watch on, arms folded across your chest. Meloka, Freeza, and Freeza's assistants all watch on, waiting to see how the fight ends. The prince takes a half step back, his father's rage cowing him slightly. He looks worried, trembling slightly at his father's rage.

"This is still my planet!" the king shouts, firing another Energy Wave at the princethe force blasting him off of his feet and sending him crashing into the far wall then the ground.

The prince rises off of the ground slowly, glaring at his father. You see that he's finally ready to fight, eyes full of anger. The princs stands tall, then throws his arms wide, aura flaring.

"Karn is that-?" Meloka asks, turning to you with a face full of worry.
"Yeah." you reply, staring at the young prince as he gathers power

With a shout, Vegeta fires off your powerful attack, the giant golden beam racing towards the king. His eyes widen in shock, trying to fire his own attack in retaliation. But the king is too late. Prince Vegeta's attack engulfs the king, detonating in an earth-shaking blast. You grab Meloka and hold her, shielding her from the blast with your body. When the smoke clears, you turn to see the aftermath.

You look towards Prince Vegeta, the young Saiyan standing there panting as the smoke clears out. You look towards where King Vegeta was, but see nothing. Looking around, you see the prince's attack had blasted straight through the palace. And there, the king! He's laying on the ground, his left arm and most of the left side of his chest just gone. He lay bleeding on the palace floor, unable to move.

"My son." the king coughs out, catching young Vegeta's attention. "You're the *cough* king now. You must lead our people to this new world."

"Quiet." King Vegeta says, coughing up blood. "This is my last order, my son. Lead your people to this new world, and claim it for the glory of the Saiyans. You are the king now, you must protect the Saiya-"

With that, King Vegeta slumps back onto the ground, and passes from this world. You and Meloka both salute, as King Vegeta closes his father's eyes and rises.

"King Vegeta is dead." you say, you and Meloka kneeling. "All hail King Vegeta."
"All hail King Vegeta." Meloka choruses.
"All hail King Vegeta." Freeza says as well, only slightly mockingly. "So, the new planet shall be named New Salda. Very well. Zarbon, send the news forward."
"Yes Lord Freeza." Zarbon says, rushing from the palace to the ship.
"Now, King Vegeta." Freeza states, turning back to the new king. I believe it is time to give the good news to your subjects. I'm sure there are plenty of preparations to be made."
"Y-Yes Lord Freeza." King Vegeta says, turning to leave the room. He looks to you, as if he wants to say something.

There's no need for words, not now. You simply nod to your new king, eyes meeting his. He looks up to you worriedly, then seeing your confidence in him he nods back, eyes resolute, and then strides from the Throne Room.

"Well, now that that's concluded, step forward, Super Saiyans." Freeza commands from atop the throne. You look to Meloka, she nods to you and you both step forward to the foot of the stairs before the throne.
"Interesting choice Karn, having them fight over the name." Freeza says to you. "I'm assuming that's how most Saiyan disputes are solved?"
"Mostly, Lord Freeza." you reply, then gesture to Meloka. "May I now formally introduce you to my mate, and fellow Super Saiyan, Meloka."

"Greetings, Lord Freeza." she says, bowing to the emperor.
"Greetings, Super Saiyan Meloka." Freeza says, smiling. "I remember you. You lept down when Karn here exhausted himself in out in our first little tussle. So you've become a Super Saiyan as well since that day?"
"Yes Lord Freeza." she replies, nodding her head.

"Interesting." Freeza replies, finger to his chin. "I was led to believe only one Super Saiyan was born every thousand years, yet here the two of you stand. Now, there's only one question left to ask of you then: are you ready?"
"Ready, Lord Freeza?" she asks, confused. "Ready for what?"
"To test your power against the mighty Freeza?"
"Y-Yes!" she says nervously, focusing her power and transforming.

With a mighty shout she transforms, golden aura exploding forth from her as her hair changes, spiking and going golden as well.

"So you ARE a Super Saiyan." Freeza says, rising from the throne, floating above you both and landing behind you, you and Meloka turning to face your emperor. "Good. Now, will you both be facing me at once, or will you take turns?"

You transform into a Super Saiyan, your golden glow matching Meloka's as Freeza's body expands, head enlongating as spikes protrude from his back. With a pained groan, he falls to a knee, then rises again to his feet.

You dash at Freeza, knowing what will happen if you try to stay at range. Meloka dashes to your left, trying to split his attention and find a shot. You're determined to close the gap, dashing towards Freeza at breakneck speeds. But you're not fast enough. Freeza gathers power in the points of his fingers, firing a dozen or so beams at you in less than a second. You do your best to evade, but one catches you in the knee, the force of the beam hitting your leg spinning you midair. But you aren't spinning long. Beam after beam strikes you, your body recoiling every which way under Freeza's assault.

You fly up beside her, Charging a Dual Energy Wave and firing it into Meloka's attack, your added power slamming the attack back into Freeza, the emperor is actually being pushed back! You and Meloka redouble your efforts, pushing against Freeza's might and forcing the emperor further and further back. You're both doing it!

"SHYAAAAA!!!" you hear Freeza shout, the massive attack thrown back at the both of you. There's no time to dodge, no hope of stopping it now. You just turn, grab Meloka in your arms and put your back to the attack, shielding her from the blast.

BOOOOOOM

The explosion is massive, blasting the Throne Room apart and sending you both flying uncontrollably through the air. You hold tight to her, eventually crashing down in the wastelands outside the city. You release Meloka, the smaller Super Saiyan helping you to your feet.

"Karn I'm so sorry." she says, holding you. "Its my fault you got hurt-"
"This isn't too bad." you say, popping your neck and knuckles as Freeza touches down a short distance from you both.
"Good, you're both still in one piece. I'd hate for this to be over already. Now, let us continue."

Your fists collide, shockwaves tearing up the ground and throwing chunks everywhere. Freeza blocks your attacks as quick as you throw them, you dodging or blocking his counters as quick as he can throw them. As you attack, Freeza is forced to give ground, you pushing him further and further back, giving ground to avoid being hit. You keep up the pressure, dodging Freeza's strikes as you press on. He then turns, trying to bat you aside with his tail. But he wasn't strong enough. You catch his tail, and with a quick spin, toss him skyward.

Before he can reorient on you, you dash up from behind, and deliver a crushing axe-handle. Freeza is caught completly off-guard, your attack causing him to cry out in pain as your attack sends him crashing hard to the ground. You remain airborne, staring down where Freeza crashed. When the smoke clears, you see him standing in a massive crater, looking up to you.

"You've impressed me yet again Karn!" Freeza shouts up to you, smile on his face. "For that I'll show you something truly special! My final form!!"

He takes a half-step back, eyebrows raised as your attack closes in on him. The moment before impact, he punches your attack head-on, the golden dragon shattering against his fist. You hear a last roar as the dragon disappates, a sound of pain as the construct ceases to exist. You're left, fist-to-fist with Freeza, him smugly smirking.

"My my, that was quite an attack Karn." Freeza says, placing his palm against your chest and pushing you woth just his aura, sending you into the ground with the wind knocked from your chest. You lay on the ground, holding your chest as Freeza stares on, waiting on you to rise.

You can't breathe, and are starting to feel a bit light-headed, but this isn't over. Not yet. You try to push yourself to your feet, but you have no strength. You think he broke at least 3 ribs with that attack, and he barely touched you.

"Is this all you have, Karn?" Freeza asks, looking down at you. "I won't lie and say I'm not disappointed. I'd expected this to last longer."

"Then come fight me!"

You roll over to see Meloka's challenging Freeza while you're down. You feel your heart clench, she has no idea what she's getting into. You have to warn her off, do something-

"Very well, come attack me then Super Saiyan." Freeza replies. "I've already transformed well and far beyond what Karn can do, much less you. But let's see what you can do, might as well. Come, entertain me."

"No, don't do this!" you think at Meloka desperately.
"Don't worry about it, I have a plan." she replies, trying to sound confident. But you can tell she's shaken by how easily you were blown away. "You just rest up and enjoy the show."

With that she pulls her mind away, gathering her power into her palms. She blasts her attack down at Freeza, the blasts landing all around him, few actually striking him, but the attacks kick up an awful lot of smoke and obstruct Freeza's vision. She continues to fire her blasts, the attacks stopping mid-air and surrounding Freeza. When the smoke clears, he sees that he's surrounded by the blasts.

"Oh? This is a rather interesting attack." Freeza says, looking around.
"Hellzone Grenade!" Meloka shouts, crossing her arms as her attack hits Freeza.

Her attacks connect, blasting Freeza and the surrounding area. Her attack kicks up a massive amount of dust, obscuring your vision of him. Meloka lands near you, panting and catching her breath as she helps you to your feet, you finally having caught your breath. You know that attack usually takes quite a bit out of her.

"Splendid! Simply splendid!" Freeza's voice comes from the smoke, you watching the emperor walking out of the dust cloud. "You're both such powerful warriors! Unfortunately, I believe we're done here. Unless either of you has any tricks left?"

You shout to the heavens, diving headfirst into that golden pool of power deep inside you, forcing more and more power out.

Your entire body feels like it'll explode any second, your eyes rolled up into the back of your head from the pain. Your shout turns into a cry of pain, but you can barely hear it.

"YEEEAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!"

Your body can't contain all the power running through you, it needs an out. Your body provides that out, the energy diving into your muscles, forcing them to rapidly expand and swell to withstand the forces running rampant through you. With a final cry, your transformation ends.
"K-Karn?" Meloka asks, tentatively holding a hand out towards you. "Are you okay?"

"Haaaaaaaah." you breathe out, eyes returning to normal as you turn to her. "Yeah, I'm okay."

Then you turn to face Freeza, who's looking on slightly worried.

I, for one, want to see a dragon ball quest where frieza isn't offed by the protagonist just because he's the villain frieza.
