You are James Baker, a wild card according to the mysterious figure known as Igor. After living in Birchland for some time you discovered "The Rift" with your friends. The Rift has been causing people to act like cliches and stereotypes.

After finally closing the first Rift, another was found to be open. This new one is effecting the P.H.A.T group working for better treatment of animals. Thanks to Natalie you learned of their plan to set free all the animals in the neighboring city's zoo.

Before going back in you learned more about some of your friends and got your first taste of actually having a job. Outside of The Rift you and Martin shared some theories about how The Rift might work to your benefit. Now in The Rift you are on the verge of finding out more, but first you need to find White Robes.

"Cover Trish before she gets hit!" You yell to the others.

"Got it, Nevermore!" Zoey calls forth her Persona, restoring the entire group at once.

As the green light fades, Martin jumps up onto the desk next to him. From the vantage point he summons High John, who surrounds Trish in a constant green glow. With how strong the regular heroes are, you figure Trish will need everything she can get against this one. The book appears before you, and you quickly change to Cu Sith. The green dog growls menacingly at the new enemy, but you direct it's attention Trish.

Motioning to your teacher you command the hound Persona, "Cu Sith, defend her!"

The dog flaps it's ears in the direction of Trish, causing a purple aura to overlap with the green one already on top of her. With the speed granted to her by Martin, Trish stays close to the hulking Shadow. Sacagawea is summoned, ignited the Shadow in flames. In response the Shadow... laughs?

"HAHA, YOU'LL HAVE TO TRY HARDER THAN THAT SCUM!" The Shadow taunts before smacking Trish to the side.

Instead of throwing any punches or using special moves, the Shadow rips one of the tables off the ground and hurls it in your direction. You try to jump out of the way, but are sent flying with the table. When you finally come to a stop against a wall you struggle to get yourself from behind the table that was embeded in the wall.

You manage to pull an arm free before you here Martin call over to you, "James, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just get him!" You shout back.

From the back of the room you see Natalie looking around nervously, but when she catches you looking at her she turns to the Shadow. "In the name of God I summon you, Paul Bunyan!"

The massive Persona stomps one of it's hooves on the ground, summoning a strong gust of wind. The blast of air seems to ignite the fire started by Sacagawea, engulfing the Shadow in flames for a few seconds before dying out. The Shadow stumbles and leans onto one of the walls next to it's entrance with it's costume charred.

"It's down, what should we do?" Natalie asks the group in the few seconds you have.

>Everyone pile on, you'll have Atticus shoot from back here.
>They all can attack it, you need to get unstuck.
>Debilitate it more before it gets to attack again.
>Just do what feels right while you get rid of the table.

You may not get another chance to hit it with whatever you want. Pulling your other arm free you point to the stunned Shadow and shout, "Weaken it before it can attack again! Don't worry about me!"

"Don't have to tell me twice." Zoey says as she crackers her knuckles.

While going through the motions of cracking her glowing hand's knuckles, Nevermore flaps their wings to surround the Shadow in a dark purple light. Martin follows up the attack from his place on the desk by having High John dazzle the Shadow, and while it the attack landed it didn't seem effective.

Being pinned to a wall won't stop your arms from moving. You flip back to Atticus' page and clench your glowing hand into a fist. "Come forth, Atticus!"

"In a bit of a jam James? Oh I suppose now isn't the time for chitchat." Your Persona remarks, only seeming to notice the Shadow in the middle of what he was saying.

Atticus flips through a book of his own, stopping on a page to mumble something. Across the office the Shadow is coated in a dark red glow, so now it should be weaker. But before the others can act you see the Shadow regain it's composure, and it's shining teeth aren't smiling anymore.

Trish continues to lay into the side of the Shadow with her Persona. Sacagawea tears into the arm closest to her, getting a grunt of pain from the Shadow you can hear on the opposite side of the room. Natalie's Persona joins in the beat down as it appears beside her in the middle of the room and slams it's beam into the Shadow without taking a step closer.

"DARN VILLAINS, IT LOOKS LIKE I'LL NEED SOME HELP. TOO ME SIDEKICKS!" The Shadow bellows after tanking the attacks.

From the ceiling drop two globs of shadow substance, that quickly forms into the snowmen mascots. The two of new Shadows are practically on-top of Martin and Natalie. If that Shadow can keep calling down more then you are in trouble, you also can't afford to leave them alone.

>Focus down the Superhero while they is still weak!
>Everyone that can, use area attacks.
>Natalie and Trish do that combo on the boss again, the rest of you have the small ones.
>Let the others focus on what to do while you finally get from behind this table fully.

The snowmen shouldn't be much of a threat, if you can take out the big one they might even run away. "Focus down the Superhero, ignore the little ones!"

Everyone seems receptive to the idea as Nevermore lays into the Superhero with it's claws and High John blast it with a loud blast of electricity. Trish suddenly backs away from the Shadow, having Sacagawea throw a fireball at it.

Normally she wouldn't be the type to back off to attack, but then you see why. The Superhero raises a glowing fist into the air before bringing down right onto Trish, who was too slow to dodge out of the way. For a few seconds all you can see across the room is a cloud of dust as another wall crumbles apart.

But then you see the Superhero's glowing eyes. Seizing your chance, you summon Atticus. Your Persona aims for a second before firing off a powerful shot, but your target doesn't seem phased at all by the attack.

While the larger Shadow is ignoring you, one of the smaller ones isn't. With no ability to dodge thanks to the table, you're forced to take the full brunt of the ice blast. The other Snowman seems to have run over to the larger Shadow, and throws a blast of ice into the smoke cloud.

As the dust finally clears you can see Trish struggling to get to her feet. Even with all the added defenses she isn't looking good. "Get off of her!" Natalie shouts as her Persona whacks the larger Shadow again.

"IS THAT YOU HAVE VILLAINS? THEN ALLOW ME TO MAKE THIS QUICK!" The Superhero shouts as their fist begins to glow again.

"I don't think Trish can handle any more hits like that!" Martin shouts as he starts to aim his shotgun.

"Don't bother with guns, but I have a plan!" You shout back.

"What is it then, leader?" Zoey asks with a frown.

You need to think fast. Trish is looking pretty beaten, and so are you. If that Shadow is this strong after being weakened then you need to finish it fast. Looking closer you notice some of the dark ooze Shadows are made of coming from it's mouth, that must be a good sign.

>Unload everything you have on all of the Shadows.

You doubt you can bring the Shadow down fast enough to stop it from attacking again, but you have one idea. "Like the Chief in the village, bring down the roof!"

Natalie has a confused look, but the others understand. Martin hops down from the table, and starts to run towards the door as he summons High John, "Forget the Shadows, blast the walls!"

Lightning crackles across the room, blast parts of the walls and arcing to the Shadows for a few seconds. As you prepare to open fire on the walls with Atticus you notice Zoey running between the Superhero and Trish. With a yell and shoulder tackle the two girls fly out of the room through the hole the Shadow made.

"TRYING TO RUN AWAY NOW? YOU WON'T ESCAPE CRIMINAL SCUM!" The Shadow shouts as it charges at Natalie.

The girl manages to summon her Persona in time to stop some of the attack, but she is still sent flying next to the door. Before the other Shadows are able to act you need to close this out. Ignoring your own position you summon Atticus, "Bring down the roof!"

Atticus floats above you again, but this time he is silent. From a back pocket he produces what looks like the drum of a tommy gun. Slamming it into the gun, the two somehow merged. As all the Shadows turn their attention to you, Atticus opens fire on the already torn apart walls of the office. All of the shots seem to have hit weak points, as the metallic roof begins to cave in. If only you weren't still trapped behind the table...

A loud crash fills the floor as various machine parts, concrete, and metal fill the office. You can't see anything through the darkness around you, but you can feel something. Pain.

A sharp pain racking your whole body. You also find yourself unable to move, you aren't sure if it is due to pain or being physically blocked. The only thing your senses are able to register is the absolute darkness and pain. You've got to stay calm, you're just trapped under rubble. The others will get you soon enough.

Tears stream down the side of your face as the pain worsens, not out wanting to cry, but of the need to do something about the pain. What can you do here? There has to be something, the others wouldn't just leave you. Would they?

>They'll come for you. You just have to wait.

Gritting your teeth, you try to summon Atticus. A faint glow illuminates your surroundings as you find your hand under a rock, but it isn't the source of your emmense pain. Atticu's voice ehcos in your head, "I'll get you out of there soon enough. Just hang on."

The sound of rubble starts to fill your ears, but you can't take it anymore. In a mix of pain and hopefullness you call out for the others. You can't really form words, but they still should be able to hear your yell for help. Even if they can't it lets you try to relieve the pain. So you keep yelling, and yelling.

Eventually you run out of breath and start to gasp for air. The glowing on your hand is getting harder to see. Air, you need air. You start to gasp loouder, the oxygen in your lungs having run out. Your head is spinning, everything starts to feel distance, then you hear a shout from above. The sound of rubble being moved starts to echo around you, and a small beam of light fills your vision. It's like you've never seen light before, you close your eyes reflexivly. But a shape soon cast a shadow down on you as they block it.

"James!" cries out a familiar voice, but you can't make it out.

A few more minutes pass as you hear voices besides Atticus talking. The rubble surrounding you is slowly removed, but as more is taken away the pain gets worse. More light starts to appear around you, until finally everything is bright. As the final pieces of rubble are removed your right hand stops glowing, Atticus returning to wherever he goes.

With the table now below you, hands grab at your arms and pull you free of the reamaining loose metal and concrete. When you look up you see Zoey and Trish both looking down at you, the light around them blinding. "Don't ever do anything like that again." Trish says, her tone harsh.

"Oh my god!" You hear Natalie's voice cry from the side.

You turn to look at her, but she is already looking at you. The others are also staring down at you, but when you follow their gaze it is to your left. That is when you see your left hand fully, your fingers bent at an angle.

Martin steps into your view from your left and covers his mouth when he looks down at you. "We are leaving, now." Trish says, the hand on your shoulder tightening it's grip.

>Fine, get out of here fast.
>At least let you walk on your own.
>Just use healing on it. That should work.

With everyone around you force yourself to sit up fully, "Did we get him?"

Martin turns to the pile of rubble and nods. Looking back at was once the office from a higher angle you see the room is completely caved in. Trying to ignore the pain from your left hand you turn to everyone else, "Is anyone else hurt?"

"I'm roughed up some, but Zoey took care of it. The only lasting injury seems to be your hand." Trish states as she stands.

You nod and move to get up as well, but you are suddenly hit with a killer headache. On instinct you move your right hand up to your head. Without something to put weight down on as you try to get up, you fall to the floor again with a groan. "James!" You hear someone shout, but you can't make out who.

For the second time in a short amount of time, everything goes black.

When you open your eyes again, you notice the pain in your hand is gone. You also notice you are in a place you haven't seen in a long time, the same tomb from when you first entered Birchland. Using one of the pillars and your good hand, you manage to get to your feet. Carefully as to not drop it, you drag your phone out of your pocket.

The dim light illuminates the chamber just enough to where you can see the same hallway as before. Across the hallway you can also see what looks like another way to go, if it weren't caved in with stone and sand. Lacking any other options, you do as you did before. The walk down the long hallway leads you back to the chamber full of statues yet again.

"Welcome back" says a voice in the darkness. You're alarmed by there being someone else here, but it also strangely calming.

Shining your light around the large room doesn't reveal the speaker. With a sign your turn back to the statues. All of the statues still have writing under them in stange languages, but you don't have much else to look at.

>The largest statue of a man with a bundle of papers under each arm.
>A statue of a man riding upon a horse catches your attention.
>Your eye catches a smaller statue. It's face and arms broken off, making it hard to see anything about it.

Something about the largest statue in the chamber draws your attention. You walk along the row of smaller until you come to the one that stands twice your size. Using your phone's light, you investigate the plague. You can't actually understand the language, it just looks like symbols and sometimes close to English letters.

The statue itself looks like it is made of marble or some other light stone. Unlike the other smaller statues around this one also isn't carrying a weapon or ruined beyond repair. All they have are a large amount of scrolls under their arms. Whoever made this statue was very good, the hair is highly detailed from what you can see from the ground.

Armor also seems to be lighter on this statue, only covering the man's chest. For the statue to be so much larger than the rest this person must have been pretty important. From the scrolls under their arms it looks like they also were pretty smart. Raising your phone to get a better look at the face, you swear you could have seen it before.

"It looks like our time here is up. Best of luck, James Baker." The voice calls out from above.

Before you can get a look at the source you start to feel the pain in your hand again. Your vision is forced down to the hand in question, your good one gripping the wrist. As your phone drops to the ground screen down, you are plunged back into darkness.

With a grunt you fumble around to try and find the light. The pain at this point is getting burned into your mind, but you need to see. Your good hand finally finds your phone, but as you pull it back to your face the light is blinding.

You can hear a faint beeping noise as you finally come to. Looking around you appear to be in the back of a car, but how did you get there?

"James? Oh thank the lord you are awake. Your friend Martin said you had a bad fall in a ditch, so I came to pick you up. We are on the way to the hospital, but can you tell me what day it is?" Your Great Uncle Carson bombards as you wake up.

"Sunday the 25th? I don't have a concussion." You say before yawning.

"That's good to hear, but they will need to double check. I'm just glad you are alright. Let me handle the staff, this shouldn't be too bad." Carson explains with a smile on his face.

The next few hours are a blur. Eventually after many test a you and Carson are in an examination room when a doctor walks in holding a clipboard.

"Well the good news is you don't have a concussion and fractures can heal without surgery. The bad news is that your hand will be in a split for a few weeks, likely three to four." The woman explains as she reads a clipboard.

Carson rest a hand on your shoulder and sighs, "Thank you ma'am. Is there anything else you'd like to ask James?"

>Is there anyway to heal your hand faster? You have important commitments to keep.

You know Carson isn't made of money, something like this might really hurt his lively hood. "This isn't going to cost too much, is it?"

The doctor shakes her head, "The two of us already talked about the finances of the situation."

"No amount of money is too much for your health James. I don't want you to worry about it." Carson says.

"If you are ready for this we can go ahead and put it on you." The woman says with a gentle smile.

"Alright. Let's do this." You say with a nod.

It doesn't long for the splint to be fixed onto your hand. The pain meds they gave you are really helping, but you also already feel tired again. The split also restricts your left hand for the most part, but you can use a few fingers. By hospital rules you are wheel-chaired out to the car.

As Carson starts to drive back home you catch him looking at you in the rear view mirror, "I'll call your school so you don't need to go in tomorrow if you don't want James. I know these kind of things can take a day to get used to."

"Thanks. Sorry for all of this by the way."

"James I'll say it again. Don't worry about it, your well being is my number one concern. Though if you do stay home tomorrow someone needs to get your schoolwork for you." Carson explains.

You think it over for a few minutes. As the car finally pulls up home and your are ready to pass out you tell Carson that for tomorrow...

"My friend Martin is in almost every class. I can ask him about bringing work for me." You suggest while heading inside.

Carson comes in after you and nods, "Alright. Well let me know if you need help with anything. I can stay here tomorrow just in case."

"Thanks again, but it's only one hand." You say as you head to your room for the night.

Getting dressed for bed takes longer than usual, but it isn't too bad. For the third time in one day you pass out, but this time it is on your own terms.

>9/25 > 9/26
12 Days Remaining

The next morning you wake up to the sound of your phone alarm, must have forgot to turn it off. Looking over at your phone you notice text from everyone that you must have missed. Everyone is asking how you are doing, even Zoey.

"I'm fine, but can Martin grab my work?" You text everyone.

In response Martin sends you a thumbs up, it's nice to have reliable friends unlike back home. You roll out of bed, careful to not move your splinted hand too much. You can hear Carson in the kitchen making breakfast as you head to the bathroom to wash up.

With only one good hand you can't exactly go biking around, but what can you do all day?

After a nice breakfast of oatmeal you have a talk with Carson, "How do you speak so well at church?"

"Well James, it's about putting your heart and soul into it." Carson says as he starts to was the dishes.

You shake your head, "Yeah, but how? I haven't really done drama stuff before, so I feel like I would just mess things up."

Carson takes a break from the dishes to sit across the table from you, "Let's start from the basics then. You need to be confident in what you say. Now what I say is the Lord's word, but that applies to all public speaking. In my youth I would practice sermons in a mirror."

"That really works? I guess I can give that a try." You say with a nod.

The two of you talk as he goes back to dishes, Carson pointing out a few more basic things about speeches. You feel like from the tips of your Great Uncle that your CHARM has grown from Wallflower to Magnetic!

As the day goes on you try writing a few of the things from Carson down as notes. Even if they don't look pretty, it means your hand is getting some light exercise. In the background you hear about an increased amount of activity from P.HA.T from the TV. Your good hand clenches when you realize this is going to slow things down in The Rift.

Time seems to fly as soon enough there is a ringing from the front doorbell, you didn't even realize it had one. With Carson in his study you answer, finding Martin there with a stack of papers. "Talk about bad timing, we just got loads of papers today," He says with a sigh.

Motioning for him to come in, you ask him about the day. "Take a seat man, how was everyone doing?"

Martin drops the papers onto the table in front of the sofa as he takes a seat. "Everyone is fine, just worried. Your hand isn't that bad is it?" He asks, concern in his voice.

You understand what Martin is trying to get at. Would you really be any use in The Rift with just one good hand? What if it got even worse while in there?

>You are still good to go, just not today.
>Everyone else can go ahead without you if they want, you don't mind.

"I can go, but I can't be in the front with this." You pause to lift your bad hand. In a lower voice you continue, "Best I can do is give you guys cover from the back with Atticus and the rifle."

Martin gives you a shocked look, "You sure James? I mean it's your call, but don't be afraid to take it easy. We still have 11 days besides today."

"I'm sure. I can grab my stuff and get dressed quick." You say standing up.

"I'll let the others know then," Martin says as he takes out his phone.

As your walk to your room, Carson is leaving his study. "Oh, heading out today James?"

"Yes, but I promise I'll keep my hand safe," You say while still going to your door.

"That's all I can ask of yo- Oh hello there!" Carson says as he notices Martin in the living room.

You take your chance and slip back into your room as Carson showers Martin with hospitality. Your bad hand gets in the way, but it isn't too hard to change. You make sure to grab your bag of gear, thankful that your weapons are already taken care of. Once back in the hallway you wave for Martin.

"Ready to go Martin!" You call in a slightly louder than normal speaking tone.

Martin, who is looking very nervous about talking to Carson, smiles when he sees you. "Thanks Mr. Carson, but time for us to go," He says as he gets up from the sofa.

"Safe driving you two" Carson says as you both head out.

"Everyone says they can make it, but Trish didn't seem happy," Martin says as he starts the car.

Looking down at your phone you see she sent you a private text. "You should rest that hand of yours."

With a sign you ask Martin to just play the radio on the drive there. The pain meds are still leaving you a little out of it, but the music helps you stay awake. Through the rush hour traffic you manage to reach P.H.A.T HQ before it is too late. One at a time you see the others go into The Rift separately, Martin and you being the last two in.

Once inside the others go to get ready, Trish is waiting by the entrance. Not in her usual costume and tapping her foot she glares at you, "Going to Floor 9 still?"

>If she has a problem with your hand then she can just say so.
>That is the plan, is she going to get changed?
>She doesn't have to worry, you plan to stay in the back.
>You admit it was a reckless thing to do, can you move on now?

"Look, I know I said no reckless deeds, but I don’t exactly have a choice then. We were getting our butt kicked and it was lookin pretty bad. I did what I have to make sure we were getting out alive. The part about me getting buried was a miscalculation on my part."

You pause, Trish keeps looking at you. "And I promise to stay in the back."

She softens her glare and sighs, "Fine. But if you get in danger just play it safe this time."

You head to one of the tents to put on your gear while Trish heads to the separate tent from everyone else. Luckily all you have to do is put on a jacket and gas mask, so you are able to join the others quickly. It's a little hard holding the rifle in both hands, but it isn't too bad. Only a few seconds after you join the others, Trish is right behind you.

"How does she do that?" Natalie asks as you all start to walk to the tower.

Martin shakes his head, "We still have no clue."

Everything up to the lobby is still empty, which is worrying in some respects. As you carefully look around from your place in the back of the group, you hear a yell from the Elevator as Zoey peaks inside. "It's busted!"

"What do you mean busted?" Martin asks as he, and everyone else, runs over.

Sure enough, the panel for the elevator is broken. Zoey slams her hand into the side of the wall as she stomps out. Given the layout of the building there would probably be stairs somewhere, but they might be waiting for you there.

>Come back tomorrow with climbing supplies, you are gonna climb the shaft.
>Could Martin try fixing it by making The Rift think he is a hacker again?
>There has to be some stairs somewhere, head up those.
>What about that opening in the middle of the tower outside? Some of your Persona can fly, right?

As the others are looking around the lobby, and idea hits you. "Hold on, what about that opening in the middle of the tower? Our Persona can float or even fly, right?"

"Are you suggesting we fly up there?" Trish asked, more curious than hostile.

You motion back to the entrace, "Well it's better than going into whatever trap they have set up for us on the stairs, if they have any."

"There can't be harm in trying it. If someone falls the people below can catch them too." Natalie says with a nervous smile.

Zoey is already walking past you to get outside, "Sounds like a cakewalk for Nevermore, I'm in."

Martin turns to Trish and shrugs before heading your way also. Trish let's out a sigh, but doesn't argue anymore. After a short walk everyone is outsite, looking up torwards the opening above. It must be at least four or five stories high to get there.

"Nevermore, let's go!" Zoey breaks the silence as the summons her Persona.

You watch as Zoey actually hops onto the stone, glowing raven and takes off into the air. Zoey seems to be enjoying it from the hollaring, but as they fly further out they suddenly come to a stop. You hear a shout from Zoey before the Persona turns around and flies straight to the hole.

"There's a fucking forcefield or some shit if you go too far away from the Tower!" She shouts down.

"A forcefield? It must be something about containing Shadows..." Martin mumbles to himself as he notes something on his phone.

"Well how will the rest of us get up? I don't remember any of ours having wings." Natalie asks while still looking up to the hole where Zoey now is.

"Allow me to try. Sacagawea!" Trish says as her hang burst into light.

The Persona of Trish may lack wings, but it doesn't like it needs any to float off the ground. Trish tries to mount her Persona, but ends up just sitting on the large crystal resting on it's back. After Trish motions for her Persona to move, instead of flying it starts to climb. The stone claws of Sacagawea carry the woman all the way up to Zoey.

Martin and Natalie both turn to you, expecting you to go next. With your good hand, your summon Berith. It isn't like any of your other Persona can fly or climb, so time to ride. "Let's go!" You shout as you climb on with some difficulty.

"To assault the fort, we ride!" Shouts the rugged voice of Berrith as it climbs the ever so slight incline of the tower with ease.

Once at the correct level you hop off your Persona, but it looks like another dark hallway is standing in your way. You join Zoey and Trish in watching the others try to climb the tower. Martin grabs onto the arm of High John and the two simply float up. Natalie is the last, but her Persona carries her up in one arm while using the other to pull itself up.

With everyone finally at the top, you let the others lead the way in. As you finally see a light ahead, the others come to a stop. "Damn," Zoey says in awe.

You rush to see what the others are all stopped for, and your eyes go wide. It looks like the globe from the lobby, but now making up the entire floor. The entire room is also lined with strange cabinets that at first are unclear, until you see a Shadow go into one and vanish.

>Try to find the way up in this room. This should only be floor 7 or 8.
>Check out those cabinets. Worse case you can surprise any Shadows inside.
>Investigate the globe for any special signs of anything.
>Just hang back and keep an eye out for other Shadows while the others check things out.

You join the others in entering the center of the room, "Let's check out that globe, there might be signs of something on it."

"If you say so. I'm gonna stay ready to kick some Shadow ass," Zoey says as she looks around the room at the various cabinets.

Martin sighs as he looks around the room, "I'll go check to see if we have a working way up."

That leaves you, Trish, and Natalie to look at the globe. You sling your rifle back in place and squat down to get a better look. Trish is keeping her distance, looking around the room on occasion. Natalie is standing by you, but she seems to be looking more at you than the globe.

"So we are just looking for clues about anything?" She asks.

"Yeah. Anything we notice could be useful since we have nothing right now," You explain.

Looking down at the globe a few things are clear to you. First is that the holographic globe is centered on North America. You also notice the only marked location is Birchland, which probably means The Rifts are kept here. You feel a tap on your shoulder and look up to the source, Natalie.

"I think something else is marked on there," She says while pointing to a spot in the middle of the USA.

You have to move around and stand to see it, but sure enough there is an X marked close to the center of the country. Whatever it is can't be good, but you don't have anything to work with. You try poking the holographic X, but nothing comes from it. As you try to look for anything else from different angles you hear Martin from the opposite side of the way you came in.

"Elevator over here works!" He shouts across the room.

"That sounds like a good reason to leave before any Shadows show up then," Trish says as she starts in Martin's direction.

But things are never so easy. As everyone gets ready to head to the elevator, six of the cabinets burst with open with shadow ooze. Three of the Shadows look to be birdlike men with wings and long noses. The other half of the Shadows all look like some kind of weird flying horse devil. In the center of the room you are surrounded, but those not by the globe can move around freely.

>Have Martin try to figure out weaknesses for the Shadows then capitalize off that.
>Everyone stick to using firearms and weapons to save yourselves for later.
>Blow them away with your area skills.
>Try to all group up before the Shadows all close in on you.
