Last time on EDQ, I died. Sorry.

Now, continuing on from Elizabeth to some world topics.

--------IBERIA/LATIN AMERICA----------

The Portuguese Republic overnight has suffered a coup from it's officer corps after emancipation of woman's rights, failed agricultural reforms, and (suspected) Brazilian and Spanish influence, reinstated the old monarch Manual II, the "Patriot of Portugal".
After a bloody battle fought in the heart of the capital, where pro-republican militia attempted to defend against a combination of Integralist-Monarchist forces, and has collapsed in a manner of hours.
Manual II himself is on route to Portugal, having being in exile in the Brazilian Republic, led by the prestigious dictator Getúlio Vargas who has recently inherited the dictatorship from the military junta.

Your spies in Brazil report that Manuel II seems mostly focused on Imperialism, stabilizing Portugal, and "earning it's place in the Sun", and seems to have strong ties to the Papacy as well.
Your spies in Brazil also report that President Vargas seems focused on making Brazil an industrial powerhouse, and regaining Brazil's "Imperial" status, seeming to have focused on building a strong military, and has been successful in stamping out crime, poverty, and other things, making Brazil a very powerful South American country...

Continued.
>>
Eventually, once Manuel II arrives in Portugal, you hear word that the old ambitious monarch has already come up with the "Grande Plan", which he was formulating during Portugal's hour of need...
Detailing many things, such as the foundation of the Portuguese Patriot Youth of His Majesty, the Angola-Firestone Rubber deal, and the Freemason Exile Act, formally banning the Freemason society from assembly and has already detailed them as "responsible for the instability of Spain and Portugal", alongside detailed plans for a "Iberian Trade Bloc"...

Manuel II himself is roughly about 70, but age seems to have scarcely slowed him down, as many of your spies report that he seemed eager, excited even, and seemed to be in the highest of spirits. During his speech, he was even seen leaving in tears at being "given a second chance" to rule Portugal. It's unknown of what his opinion of you is. Your spies do however report that there is still a large amount of popular Republican support in the civilians, about 40%.

Spain itself is still wrapped in civil war, with little changing.

You of course, being a good draconic neighbor, get ready to set flight to Portugal...

Before you go, you of course tell Elizabeth who's having afternoon tea with Frankizka.

...Elizabeth if anything, seems a bit devious once you mention going to new state of Portugal...

"...Are you thinking of something, Elizabeth?'

Her deviousness fades, and she seems to shake it off.

"...No, no... I was just stressing about the economy a bit, Ren... Would you like me to make some lunch for your trip?"

"I'd love it."

She of course, cuts her tea break short and kisses you, and lovingly struts away, if that was ever a thing...

You set flight to Portugal's capital...

It seems like some festivities are being held, and some speeches are still being done by officers and such... Along with fireworks being shot into the sky... It's rather dark out too, now that you think about it.

What do?

>...Land on the highly broadcasted main stage, and greet the king. (You'll probably scare Portugal quite a bit.)
>...Land beside the stage, and patiently wait your turn. (Still scares Portugal, but at least you'll have proper manners.)
>...Land directly in front of the camera, and give a personal interview on your views of Portugal... Why not? You are the most important being in the world, and your opinion should matter... (Do of course, ego boosting. And also scare the government.)
>...Come up with your own, special way of introducing yourself to Portugal... (???, but likely to be egotistical, maybe a bit lustful, and generally scare the shit out of people.)
>...You aren't really one for talking to mortals... You should just head back.

Rolled 5 (1d100)

You of course, land next to the stage in your dragon form.

Rolling for property damage.
>>
You land right ontop of the front lawn of the palace, where all the civilians are. They all move out of the way though, and you comfortably lay down... Ontop of a car park.

Oh well... You know, they'd make a good snack. Already crushed, anyways.

You watch the now very, very nervous stage members, while chewing some cars similar to popcorn...

Thankfully, your recent invention of spray butter lets you get some of that delicious, delicious butter in, without having it melt or anything. Of course, the can is absolutely tiny, so you have some humans find some crushed cars to spray with the butter cans, and you give them a few hundred marks for their menial labor.

...Eventually, it comes to a conclusion, and you quite rudely interrupt the speech (and the city) with a loud cough, which goes for presumably miles.

...So of course, the cameras turn to their glorious draconic overlo- You mean, supporter of the regime, yes, yes...

...God, why can't you just conquer these humans fast enough so you don't need to use lesser titles? Some fitting title, such as the Draconic Overlord of The Lesser Races or something.

...You know, something to put humans in their place, compared to you. Being an "overlord" simply isn't enough...
...You erh... You should actually probably stop adressing your egotistical problems and focus on talking about eternal friendship (for a few years maybe) or whatever, and not that they taste good, how overpriced their cars is, and the sore lack of butter.

Roll me a 1d20+5 for first impressions on Portugal.

+2 if you can of course, go through introducing yourself, your overly long title to impress the mortals, and also maybe mention how happy you are Portugal's a good loyal monarchy you can eventually manipulate...
+2 for being very, very threatening and otherwise aggressive unintentionally. (+1 for maybe getting very pissed off at journalists for not getting your good side.)
+1 for also mentioning how much the Portuguese matter to you, and how proud THEY should be to work alongside you...

Your introduction goes smoothly, though you seem to have knocked Manuel II quite off balance, at the fact a 200 story dragon is indeed, in front of his new palace, and is indeed, talking about him marrying maybe one of your daughters in the future. Though you of course, make sure to laugh it off, and he formally invite you to his palace, so of course, you invite yourself in...

You remain in your dragon form, standing outside the castle, peering through the windows and casting a mighty shadow over the entire palace. Your eyes can scarcely fit into one of the tiny windows... Which themselves are twice as large as a normal person, if not more so...

Eventually, you get to a "suitable" location to discuss a bit...

And of course, get a phone call from Elizabeth.

You sigh, and shift to your human form, and answer the phone...

"Elizabeth, I'm in the middle of something..."

"Oh, my apologies Ren, I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine, what's going on?"

"...Well, are you in the middle of conversation? It's a private affair..."

"...About?"

"Well, a variety of things... Also, about Portugal, dear."

You sigh, and ask Manuel if you can talk to your wife.

"...I don't see why not... Though could you perhaps use your human form while your here?"

"...Why?"

"...I would prefer to not have to crane my neck, nor get crushed accidently after coming so far."

Manuel II orders some whiskey while you excuse yourself to the restroom...

"Elizabeth, this better be good..."

"Well, yes it is... You do know that Portugal has indeed... Oh, the tenth largest storage of gold in the world?"

"...Really?"

"...Yes... And they don't have any allies or friends... So I was perhaps wondering if you'd be interested in a bit of... Well..."

"...Raiding?"

"Oh, oh no... The United Nations would be far too annoyed... I was thinking along the lines of just stealing it, and we share it... Then we make Manuel our puppet, dear."

"...You think that'll work?"

"...Well, maybe... I would do it myself, but I'm a bit... Well, busy with Russia, the kids..."

"I got it."

"...If you do it, I'll really owe you, Ren..."

Oooh.

"Do you have any other ideas?"

"...Well, I mean, Portugal does have a navy... A small one. I suppose if you wanted to, maybe you could steal it somehow."

"...Oh. Anything else?"

"There's also slavery... Not that I'm really advocating it for Europeans, but having some more couldn't hurt, really... Oh, speaking of slaves... I had an idea earlier..."

You of course, decide to try and get a few insiders to help you... Though first you need to have a good time with Manuel and find a proper way to excuse yourself...

You eventually walk back into where you and Manuel were having a drink at...

He sips some watered-down whiskey, and eventually you take your seat.

"So, I don't believe you've had the pleasure of knowing my name..."

"Manuel, isn't it?"

"Yes... Manuel the Second, and all that."

"Ah. Well, I am Renexizious Thorsonn, the Supreme Ver-"

"No need... I'd rather not die of old age yet while waiting for you to finish." He gives a bit of a chuckle after interupting you...

"...Anyways, so... Weren't you the last king of Portugal or something?"

"...You know, you could at least make my irrelevance a bit less blunt."

"...I see... Well, how was Brazil?"

"...Good."

He sips a bit, and it goes quiet.

"...I'm not exactly sure what you intend to accomplish with small talk."

"...Well, I'm trying to be friendly."

"I can scarcely believe it. Truly. Do you usually meet others like this?"

"Yes, usually."

"...I would hate to be an insurance salesman in your lands then."

"I suppose you would."

He sips a bit more.

"...Have you read any of Antero de Quental's works?"

At that, you and Manuel talk for a long time about many subjects, his past, and generally affairs.

He seems to be quite learned, and a fan of Portugese literature, alongside being quite a patriot of it, though a bit... Realistic about his advanced age...

He's also somewhat nervous of you, and cautious... Certainly keeping an eye on you.

You learn from him that apparently, when the Monarchy collapsed in 1910, he fled to England but was denied, and instead fled to Brazil, where the Empress of Brazil, Isabel offered him sanctuary...

Meanwhile, as Claw, after two hours of sailing...

"...So uh... This is far out as you can take me?" You ask, as you step in an old wooden lifeboat.

Claw eventually gets found by a security guard, who calls the local police thinking he broke in...

Elizabeth's opinion is now 150.

Elizabeth hugs you tightly, not really letting go, and kisses you after fifteen long minutes of intense hugging...

She also brings you some tea, and a kiss on the cheek.

For getting her opinion to 150, I'd say you guys get her a free mutation...

Servile (willingness to serve another)
Calm

Alright.

Here's the contenders.

Loyalty/Adoration (Minor flavor differences for which one.)
Fear
Calmness

Decide for the last few.

Nationalism (Inspires people to be nationalistic!)
Bravery (Inspires people to be brave!)
Romance/Lust/Love/Whatever you want to call it. (Helps charm, and your marriage(?)
>Servile/Loyalty (Helps establish Elizabeth at the "top" and makes far more loyal servants when enabled.)
>Envy (Helps Elizabeth's ego/make her more happy... Also, can potentially direct envy towards others.)
>Spirituality (Helps people become religious!

Servile/Loyalty it is, along with Spirtuality.

Do you want spirtuality to be directed towards Elizabeth, or in general?

>Directed towards Elizabeth. (...Helps making a cult around Elizabeth... But Gods really, REALLY don't like this. Elizabeth's ego continues to rise too...)
>...Directed in general. (Gods enjoy this, and also Elizabeth becomes more religious.)

So I uh
I just kinda realized that anons did already choose loyalty/adoration, so can you guys choose one othe thing besides Servile/Loyalty since you already have that?
>>
I'll just go with Envy, I guess.

Now, what do anons want to have default active? (Note this is weaker then actively using it, and carries no side-effects to use.)

>Servile (...People tend to be more docile, loyal, and adore Elizabeth.)
>Bravery. (People tend to be more inspired and brave around her!)
>Envy (...People envy Elizabeth's power... Which helps her ego, and ergo her happiness.)
>Fear. (...People tend to shy away from confronting or attacking Elizabeth.)
>Calmness. (People tend to be more rational and explain better around her.)
>None. (You have to tell me to get full use out of pheromones.)

OR, anons can specify ONE specific form to have an upgraded pheromone constantly active. (excluding Dragon, BUT humanoid dragon is allowed.)

This is assumed to be on by default until anons tell me otherwise, otherwise just say "no."
>>
>>1934213
>Envy (...People envy Elizabeth's power... Which helps her ego, and ergo her happiness.)
A cloud of perpetual smugness shall hangnover loz

>Servile (...People tend to be more docile, loyal, and adore Elizabeth.)

Elizabeth has some strange mix of envy, and servileness. Women especially tend to hate and envy her, but Elizabeth can easily direct men's envy towards other things, all in the hopes of serving her...

Elizabeth's radius of her pheromones in dragon form is about 5 city blocks. In human form, it's about 50 feet. (Assuming she had one, but in half dragon form, it's about 100 feet.)

...Elizabeth can't help but notice strangely that a nearby guard shutters, and sneezes, and seems a bit woozy...

"M'lady", he says, with a kneel...

Strange. Usually they just nod respectfully... Judging from their thoughts, usually to get a good look at you too, as much as you tend to protest.

You continue on until a servant also sneezes, holding a plate of food for your husband, which falls and breaks from his violent sneeze... He curses wildly, and you can't help but be a bit concerned and worried about the flu...

Strangely enough, he begins to curse wildly towards the flu, the moment you think it...

...Strange.

UNIQUE: Psychic Symbiosis (Elizabeth's pheromones are influenced by what she thinks sometimes!)

...Eventually, Elizabeth gets ready to go to a Russian festival and of course, mingle a bit. Hopefully this goes all according to plan.

Roll me a 1d20+5 for how well this festival goes...

+3 for Elizabeth unintentionally using her pheromones on the festival, and what happens...
+2 for Elizabeth enjoying her time befitting a draconic overlord(ess) with what happens
+2 if Elizabeth can have a big heart during the festivals, and be a very nice, huge, and not scary dragon, with slightly maternal instincts.
+1 for of course, showing off your beauty and getting women ultra envious.

If everything's done, Elizabeth's popularity might just soar... And I might throw anons another bone.

Welp.

Critical Failure.

You manage to get a large group of dwarves, minotaurs, and lycanthropes to work on the glacier...

Eventually, night descends, and you've mined about 50% of the glacier... So of course, you go home, getting some sleep, somewhat sore...

You can't help but have strange dreams as you sleep, but eventually you shake them off, and get up in the morning, as per usual.

After a bit of getting breakfast and looking at the news, you head back to mine the glacier...

Which has... Apparently regrown during the night, and has minimal damage. About 90% of it's back.

It seems like a large amount of the workers for whatever reason, have "refused" to come back, citing bad dreams, sickness, sudden unexplainable panic attacks, and in one case, a heart attack in their sleep...

Some of your officers and soldiers around the glacier report similar symptoms, but less severe, mostly being fatigue, and paleness. Most seem to not really want to be around the glacier.

Some lycanthropes have been diagnosed with similar muscle growth, though it's receded after nearly an hour, and also seem to be speaking in tongues and strange languages they never knew.

That would mean about 490$ Million to Elizabeth for her to build up Russia/keep... (She also decides to maybe donate 20$ Million to charity in Greece.) About 210$ Million to Renexizious for whatever he wants, and 70$ Million among the kids...

Do anons want to try to convince her at all?

Of course, Elizabeth thinks about how to spend her hard-earned wealth, while bathing in it slightly...

At least, until a politician enters, most annoyingly?

"...Excuse me, Misses Thorrson?"

You lean forward in your dragon form, and correct the tiny human.

"It is Tzaress Elizabeth, but you can call me Elizabeth... What exactly do you need?"

"...There's some problems needing your attention."

"Ah, I see... Could this wait until later?"

"It's best you get informed now, Tzaress."

You nod. Sure enough, he takes out a list, and reads it carefully...

"...There's many famines in Ukraine, which is impacting food, along with infestations of rats in the wartorn cities of Petrograd, Moscow, and many other minor ones..."

"...Oh, by the way, rename Petrograd to Saint Petersberg, by the way... Just to get that out of the way. Now, continue, if you will?"

He continues, somewhat nervous over the huge, feminine dragon standing over him.

"...There's also civic unrest among the lycanthropes, with many peasants taking up arms to drive them, citing that most of them forming bandit groups and steal and generally ravage the countryside..."

"This has been ignored?"

"Mostly due to more important matters, such as the Siberian oil disputes, and farming disputes there..."

"...That was more important then villages being plundered and destroyed?"

"...Well, yes, it was at the time, your majesty..."

You sigh, and shake your head... Clearly, these Russians are going to need to learn proper morals and ethics, from a paragon such a yourself...

"There's also the threat of communists... As you know, we've moved the capital to Saint Petersberg, and Moscow and some of the other counties are demanding a change to the old system.

Hell, your chip's popularity is enough that entire stores are being bought dry, and the average price of a bag of her chips have gone from 50 cents, to about 2$ per bag... More expensive then a movie theater!

Elizabeth of course, looks to the Royal Palace's halls, and realizes that some remodeling needs to be done... You can't live in a museum of the Soviet Navy, after all!

Elizabeth sets into motion HOME REMODELING for essentially her new palace, and of course, can't help but have her treasury moved into the same room as her throne room... The roof certainly is quite tall, so long as you don't go too large...

Ignore my roll. This is to see how much Liz spends on aesthetics, and her palace.
>>
Elizabeth, surprisingly enough for a dragon, takes a humble approach, scrapping the Soviet Navy exhibits and, in a remarkable show of generosity, sets up most of the palace as a museum to the Romanov family, and the other wing as a general library for the public...

Of course, the rest of the money goes to simple things, such as a comfortable bedroom for you to sleep in...

...Oh, and a comfortable bath AND library. Just for the moments when you want to read a book, and also get comfy...

Then you sigh, and realize that the gold really doesn't add much to the aesthetic in the central hall, so you of course, move it to the comfortable huge bathroom/library you decide to build. Complete with a hot tub as well!
In fact, you spend 5$ Million, half of your budget on a dragon sized hot tub for yourself. Key note, it's enough to fit you at 15 stories. Comfy, as fuck. At least, that's what Ren likes to say. Oh, and those comfortable purple pillows on the outside of it, for resting your head... Complete with gold surrounding it...

PR among the right has increased, but has decreased among the left...

Ignore my roll.
>>
After your appointment, a bit of a "schism" appeals in the right. It seems the right-wing part of parliament seems to be arguing over Savinkov or Wrangel, with most favoring Wrangel... But the rest fearing Savinkov.

Savinkov, the so called "Leader of the Peasants" has released some comments supporting Wrangel's appointment to prime minister, but has made it quite clear he desires that his far-right coalition gets a place in parliament to "stem the tide of elitism".

He seems to be quite popular among the peasants and downtrodden, but has virtually no support among the elite.

Regulated it is.

Elizabeth decides to heavily reduce regulations and get rid of central planning, scrapping it in favor of a regulated market...

The oilgarchs in the Duma like this, and by extension, so does quite a bit of the right... Though some concerns are drawn over monopolies...

Boris's men protest this, wanting a war or nationalized economy...

What should Elizabeth's stance be in the regulated economy?

>...Neutral. (...60% of passing, and a 40% of failing.

Good Success.

The vat idea goes quite well, after forcing Claw to do most of the work while you sip some soda mead and watch.

Meanwhile, in Russia, as Elizabeth...

Boris Savinkov himself describes the plan to you...

In the first step of his plan, he introduces the idea of cutting down on the central planning by taking previously government-held lands and redistributing them to peasants and kulaks for extremely cheap, and those unable to pay due to poverty or other things, but had previously owned land before the Soviet Union would be able to do a joint-share of the land with the state, where the state would own the land and they'd essentially pay rent to the government through their profits... And away from large oligarchs buying up house after house for those unable to buy or afford their home after the collapse of the Union...

In his second step, he recommends the creation of a "Department of Agricultural Mechanization" where once the farms have been set up, mechanization would follow, helping the Russian economy and food market further, and allow the average man to compete with the Siberian food giants, assisting in the first step of making what he terms is a "All-Russian Market" where the Russian economy is entirely, and utterly self-sufficient.

In his third step, he advocates for the "National Investment Bank", where start-up businesses would be invested into by the government, helping the economy get back on its feet, along with giving out beneficial loans to businesses and investing in Russia's natural resources...

In his forth step, he advocates for a "Labor Army" to construct industry, and infrastructure throughout the countryside which has been dilapidated since the Soviet Union, and once that is completed, a "mobilized workforce" in factories, quarries, mines, all over the country, with a youth group called the "Youth Army" to spearhead this, giving positive ethics and morals to the younger generation of hard work and struggle, and to make them the "builders of a new society...

His plan, as he claims, will lead to an end to mass unemployment and "a countryside for all".

What do anons want to do?

Unemployment has decreased from 20% to 15%, and is predicted to drop further!

Savinkov's party has gone from 10% in popularity to 20%!

After a few more days, Savinkov comes to you with a bit of a modification of the original plan...

He cites that "foreign investors" from Germany and America have been buying out plenty of industry factories, along with mines and natural resources...

He claims that in order to make a fully self-dependent economy, the best way is to nationalize the factories and mines of the foreigners, and sell it back to the peasantry and workers...

Actions.

>(Genius) Set up some 'accidents' in these mines and factories, and try to paint Savinkov's party as radical extremists against foreigners. Perhaps he might get less popularity... (...This will weaken Savinkov's party, and drive out foreigners too, though will still piss them off! Do note, that being detected may make Savinkov's party disloyal!)

Which shows Russia your "angry" side, and your really nice, somewhat maternal about subjects side.

Especially since you gave them all coupons to Renexizsnacks for accepting the truth.

The Labor army project continues unhindered, and begins to restore damaged factories, roads, railroads, etc...

At it's completion, Elizabeth finally, finally manages to relax in her hot tub, and finally gets time to read that book she's been wanting to read about Rome for at least a month...

"...Fine then. You never talk, you accuse me of being a fascist after I was dethroned out for simply wanting to marry a commoner..."

You can't help but hang up... He's too much to deal with...

...You can't help but feel like you were a bit too harsh, but you still feel quite frustrated over the whole "communist" thing...

You... Well, you call back and tell your brother that your sorry, and try to apologize.

"...Listen, Edward, I'm sorry... I've just been busy and stressed. You know how it is..."

"...Well, not really. I'm living in the Bahamas, your highness..."

"Come on, I'm your sister... Don't tell me that."

"...Your my dragon sister, with what, twenty kids, two empires to manage..."

You sigh.

"It's erh... It's a bit more then that."

"...Seriously? How are you even having that many?"

"...Renexizious and I tend to spend a lot of time together, enough said."

"...Elizabeth, I'm a bit worried about you, honestly. So is father... Your running all over the place as a dragon, and I swear your changing."

"...Oh come on, I'm still the Elizabeth you know... Just larger."

He sighs, frustrated.

"...Listen, I'm just asking if you'd be open for maybe me coming over to Sweden or England or Russia or wherever you live and let me meet this Renexizious guy."

"Still? Your still worried he'-"

"Well, yes, I'm still worried. Don't you remember how you came back that first night out with him, with the bruises and the broken arm?"

"Listen, he doesn't hit me."

"I don't believe that for a second. How do you "accidentally" get a broken arm and bruises at a movie date..."

"It's complicated, Edward, and I swear to you, he doesn't hit me, nothing like that."

Edward is not even close to persuaded.

"...You refuse to let me even see him. Not to mention, it's like every Thursday you tell me you caught him eyeballing another woman or how he came home with a bastard. He doesn't treat you right."

"...He's a good husband, he's just..."

"...He's just a piece of shit?"

"Don't say that about him, alright? He's a good man. I'm changing him, I swear."

"...Sure..."

Still not convinced.

"...Edward, I should go..."

"Elizabeth, sometime soon, I want to see this Renexizious, and I swear, if he's laid a finger on you... Or claw... You aren't the one being changed! He's changing you!"

Actions

>"Now you listen here Edward, IF you can keep a civil tongue in your head, and IF you can keep your damnable temper under control, then MAYBE I will deign to allow you to meet Ren, your nieces, and your nephews. However, I will NOT be spoken to like I am too stupid to know what is in my best interests, and I will NOT have Ren treated like some sort of drunken wife-beater. He is a good dragon, and he has both aided my empire and helped me to expand it in ways that I could have never conceived of, where he not here. Is he perfect? No. But he also cannot be judged to human standards, as he is not and has never been human himself. He sees the world through a different lens than we do, and yes, getting him to alter his worldview to be less...dragon-y, takes time and effort and it will never happen over night. And you're just going to have to learn to deal with that. And secondly, you're also forgetting that I as well am a massive, acid-breathing, plant-controlling, armor-scaled dragon, who is more than capable of defending herself if it EVER came to it. I am far from some helpless, mewling wretch. And it's about high time you recognized it!"

There's a brief moment of silence over the phone, as you bask in a bit of pride for asserting yourself.

"Elizabeth... Listen, I don't know if I put it the correct way..."

"I think I heard you loud and clear, Edward."

"...Elizabeth, the family... Listen, we're all worried about you. Father is. I am..."

"I can handle myself Edward, you know this."

Since I can't return to human form anymore, it seems inappropriate to claim that I am human. Seeing as I now oversee two nations, an empire, as well as being a wife and mother to a large family, I cannot say that it wasn't worth the price I paid.

Edward just kind of listens, a bit confused.

"...Why wouldn't you call yourself human? It's more complex then that."

"...Edward, it's really that simple."

"...Elizabeth, come on. Is there any more to that? You aren't a dragon, that's ludicrous."

"Ah, so all those articles in the newspaper are false?"

"I mean, well, believing yourself to be a dragon! You're still a human, Elizabeth, you've been and are one still!"

"Edward, I don't even have a human form I can go to."

"That doesn't matter, Elizabeth."

You can't help but tell that Edward's worried about you associating more with dragons then with people.

"Edward, I've assumed a form that has refined my mind to be deeper than any of your contemplation. To assign something as human, dragon, it doesn't matter. I am beyond such things. I don't really care what I'm called. I think, no, I know mother is proud of me."

This, and add

"No, I'm not going to go off stealing princesses and demanding virgin tributes from the lands I rule, lest I bring devastation upon the lands. That's ridiculous. I have grown to enjoy some of the finer aspects of dragon life, such as the simple pleasure of laying atop a pile of gold, gems, and other valuables, but I still value my subjects, and still know and cherish my royal duties to God and Country. I still have my morals, my sense of what's right and what's wrong. I'm not some mindless, scaled beast, if that's what you're trying to imply."

Elizabeth tells Edward why he's so, so wrong.

"Elizabeth, I'm even worried about how you've changed, and your ambitions are most startling..."

"...Now we're talking about my goals?"

"Elizabeth, you've been turning the United Kingdom into an absolute monarchy like old... It's concerning! Not as concerning as the slaves, but still, concerning!"

>"Edward, listen to me on this. You've seen what happens, when politicians are bought and sold by others jockeying for power. The common people are the ones with their pockets left empty, their cupboards barren, their families hungry, as the special interests line both their pockets, and the pockets of their pet politicians. As I am now, I am ageless. The failings and trappings of being old will never effect me. And I am far less corruptible to special interests than a roomful of mortal politicians who wish to taste of the finer things before their fleeting mortal lives are over. There is nothing corporations, lobbyists,or anyone else can offer me that would get me to bend my convictions, and they can certainly offer nothing that I cannot get elsewhere. My subjects will never go hungry, and they will never lack meaningful work under my rule. And those who try to usurp my authority, to undermine me and make peasants out of my subjects, will face the full wrath of Elizabeth Thorrson, Queen of England, Tzaress of Russia, Empress of Sweden, and owner of a mouth full of very sharp teeth, and a legendary hunger."
>Liz also proceeds to go, in very deep, intricate, and loving detail, about her plans to revolutionize the life and comfort status of all her subjects. Imagine, devices like color televisions and microwaves in every home, produced by British, Swedish, and Russian factories at prices that even the penny-pinchingest homeowner can afford one! Children vaccinated against diseases of the youth, such as chickenpox, scarlet fever, measles, and mumps, as a part of their routine infant check-ups! No more will families need to grieve over the loss of their children to those killers, once a proper vaccine is found. All of this, and more, funded with money earned through Liz's private enterprises, and through collaboration with Ren's scientists in Sweden to help share the costs of making the lives and futures of all their shared citizenry bright!

Elizabeth tells her grand plan to Edward, who understands, but is still... Concerned by some of what she say. Such as "mortals", and implying that she eats people...

Edward eventually lets up after nearly half an hour of talking, and he's still concerned. At least he cares, you think.

You hang up, having gotten him to back off for a bit.

...You do wonder for a bit... Maybe you are getting a bit "too" into this dragon thing.
