Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
After an extremely taxing fight, Karn and Sarada's teams finally destroyed the last remnants of the Hive on their forward outpost. Karn taught the last two droids how to pilot the ship, then began sparring with Sarada. As we return, Karn and Sarada have been sparring for a hours now, and show no signs of letting up.

You and Sarada stand tall, arms locked in combat, both panting in exhaustion and pain. However, neither of you is willing to give an inch, bashing each other over and over with your foreheads, blood mixing and running down both of your faces. It runs into your left eye, causing you to blink it away. In that moment of distraction, Sarada makes her move.

Leaping back, Sarada frees her arms and gathers power in her palm, firing a blast at your head. With only a split-second to react, you move purely on instinct and block the attack with your arm, kicking up a dust cloud all around you and obscuring your vision. You know Sarada liked to come at disoriented enemies from behind, but will she do that now?

You decide to outflank her, take her by surprise. You quickly create an Energy Mine, leaving it where you were standing as you take to the air, floating up to the ceiling. You quickly reach the top of the Gravity Chamber, planting your feet and holding yourself on the roof, listening for Sarada to hit your blast. You aren't left waiting long.

BOOM

"SHIT!!" Sarada yells, the blast throwing her up into the air right towards you. Seeing your chance, you spring off of the roof, flying headlong towards her. Rearing back, you fire a devastating right hook into her face, sending her crashing into the ground hard and bouncing up into the air. Before she can prepare herself, you land feetfirst into her torso, slamming her down into the ground. You backflip off of her and land beside her, then deliver a powerful right kick into her ribs and lifting her into the air. The force brings her level with your head, you quickly gather energy into your left hand and deliver an Energy Punch into her ribs, launching her into the far wall with a thud. She lands on her feet, unsteady but still upright.

I'm back home, so updates will be up faster now. Apologies for the delays, full speed ahead!

You've got the advantage, time to end this! With a shout you rush the Saiyan woman, left arm drawn back. She sees you coming and tries to defend herself, but is still too disoriented to be effective. You fake the left punch, firing it short and spinning, the added momentum delivering a crushing roundhouse with your right heel to the side of her head.

Sarada drops like a felled tree, limply crashing to the ground. You rush over to her, well as rushed as you can in this state, and check on her. You put a hand to her neck, and thankfully she's breathing. You stumble over to the gravity controls and deactivate the 5x Planet Vegeta's gravity, then shuffle over to her and pick her up in your arms, carrying her out of the Gravity Chamber and to the Healing Pod, securing her in it then starting it up. As you turn to leave, you see Meloka in the doorway looking at you.

"You look like hell." she says.
"Such a sweet talker." you say, staggering over to her. You nearly trip as you reach her, but she catches you. Wrapping your arm around her shoulders, she half carries half drags you to your room and lays you down on the bed. You're asleep before she even leaves the room.

You wake to the sounds of several dull thuds. Rising from your slumber, you recognize the sound as that of Attack Pods crashing into the ground. You quickly make your way outside, seeing the last of the pods crash down now. Walking towards your team, you see the pods open up to a plethora of familiar faces. Prince Vegeta, Nappa, Turles, Leyas, and a group of green as grass recruits greet you as they form up before you and your team, minus Sarada.

"Greetings Karn." Prince Vegeta says, giving you a traditional Saiyan salute.
"Your highness, General Nappa," you say, returnig the salute to each of them. "Good to see you again. Been keeping up with your training?"
"Of course, I-" he starts, before being interrupted.
"Leyas!" you hear Sarada shout from behind you. Turning, you see she's freah out of the Healing Pod, stark naked and running towards Leyas. Everyone except you and Nappa stare on as the Saiyan woman rushes and latches onto the much larger Saiyan.
"Hey Sar, how've you been?"
"Don't you 'Hey Sar' me!" she says angrily. "I'd heard you'd died! I was worried sick. Asshole."
"Hey you should've known better than that." Nappa says, walking up and placing a giant hand on her shoulder. "Your brother here's too stubborn to die."
"Heh, you're right." she says, looking up to the big man. "Thanks Nappa."
"Hey, anytime." he says, then turns to you. "So Karn, I take it that was you?"

As he says this, Nappa points over his shoulder towards the giant hole through the planet you'd blasted with your Final Flash.
"Yeah that was me." you say, scratching the back of your neck. "I got a little angry at these little bastards."
"Haha at least you didn't destroy the planet. Freeza'dve been rather upset. Speaking of, youhave your next assignment right?"

"Aleady?" Sarada asks you, seeming rather upset. "Dammit. You stay safe little brother."

"Count on it." she says, then turns to your group. "Alright let's go."

Your team boards your ship, you giving the coordinates to your pilots, confirmed with a pair of "Roger roger"s. As your ship breaks atmosphere, the copilot droid turns to you and says.

"Estimated one month until arrival on Planet Novalis."

"One month huh?" Tunnip asks, as your team gathers around. "So who's training when?"

After your last clash with Lord Freeza, you realized you're still not strong enough to face him. And after witnessing his multiple forms, you began to wonder if your Super Saiyan form could go beyond your current limits as well. So for the next month, you spend your times in the Gravity Chamber alone. Day after day, hour after hour, you focus on pushing your Super Saiyan form higher and higher. After three weeks in, you finally do it!

Focusing on your power, you first transform into a Super Saiyan. Then you focus on that power, searching deeper and deeper into that golden well of power, searching for a spark of anything more. You turn your thoughts and memories towards what allowed you to first transform. You watch again in your mind's eye as your team is cut down, over and over again until something snaps.

"RRAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!"

With an agonized shout, you feel your muscles expanding at a rapid rate. Your body wells with power, aura flaring violently as golden lightning shoots off of your body and bouncing off of the walls. Your power begins shaking the entire ship, your power reaching nearly unfathomable heights.

Suddenly the door is forcefully thrown open. Your team all start pouring in, but stop dead in their tracks when they see you.

"K-Karn?" Meloka asks you, stunned at your visage. "Wh-what going on?"
"I've done it." you say, clenching and unclenching your fist. "I've found a level beyond Super Saiyan."

This confuses your teammates even further, all they're able to do is simply stare at you in shock and awe. You throw a few punches in the air, adjusting to your newfound power. Your punches send shockwaves crashing into the sides of the room, each one straining the reinforced metal to its absolute limit and almost bursting it at the seams.

"Looks like I can't practice this on the ship." you say to your team, transforming back down into a Super Saiyan, then back to normal. The shock to your system forces you down to a knee, your body readjusting itself after that burst of power. Rising back up to your feet, you simply fall over, blacking out before you hit the ground.

When you wake, you find you're back in bed, Meloka beside you. As you get up out of bed, Meloka stirrs, then opens her eyes and sees you out of bed.

Before she can say anything, a voice comes in over the PA system,
"Beginning final approach to Planet Novalis. Warship fleet detected, Captain's presence requested on deck."
"I'll just be a moment, go ahead." she says, smiling at you as she rolls out of bed, grabbing her skintights off of the ground.
"Don't leave me waiting too long." you say, then walk out of you room and headed for the bridge. When you arrive, you see the droids and Tunnip already there.
"About time you woke up." Tunnip says jokingly, at odds with the concern in her eyes. "We've found a fleet above the planet, trying to hail us over comm lines. Should we answer?"

Before you can reply, your display screen lights up with a video message.

"Greetings, unidentified spacecraft." the alien says, somehow you know this is in real time. "I'm Supreme Executive Chairman Drek, and my people are here to occupy this planet, and take the choicest slices for our new world. If you're here to oppose us, we will have to destroy you."

"Greetings Chairman Drek." you say back, recognizing the name from the material sent. "My team was sent here on behalf of Lord Freeza, sent to aid in your conquering of this planet."
"Freeza? Ah yes, I remember now. I did request additional forces in taking this planet. So, my men are ready to begin the assault, but if you'd prefer the vanguard its all yours."

"We'll join in your forces' attack." you tell the chairman, signaling Tunnip to gather your team. "Give us three minutes."
"Of course, take your time." he tells you, pleased. "Signal back when you're ready, and the assault will begin."
With that, he cuts the comms, giving you time. You switch the PA on, and say
"Everyone gather up. In three minutes we're attacking."

Your team's ready in two.

With everyone gathered on the bridge, you send the signal to Drek's Flagship then begin flying down towards Planet Novalis. As you descend, hundreds of small, one man fighters join in the charge towards the planet. As your assault force breaks atmosphere, you are all greeted by a swarm of laser blasts fired from the planet. However, your droid pilots expertly manuver through the hail of destruction, dodging countless blasts as your vessel descends to the planet's surface.

"Wait, is that...." Meloka says, terrified. You see it too, feeling an old dread surfacing in your heart.

Standing on the surface of the planet, firing blast after blast up into the air, are a dozen of Dr. Nefarious's colossal machines. You're stunned into inaction, watching the machines firing blast after blast, destroying dozens of the attacking Blargian saucers.
"Karn! KARN!!" Sarada shouts at you, grabbing you by the shoulders and shaking you until you snap out of it. "We need to do something, now!"

"I... yeah, yeah, okay." you say, shaking your head to focus. "Alright, we need to get out there, take those giant bastards down. Droids, take the ship back up into atmosphere, await our call."
"Roger Roger." they chorus, opening the exit ramp.
"Alright everyone, let's go!!" you shout, taking off at a sprint and leaping from
the ship, your teammates following you. You watch your ship take back off towards space, and you focus on the giant machines.

"I'm going to thin the herd, you guys hold back until they stop me." you say, taking off towards the terrors.
"Wait Karn!" Meloka shouts, then grabs Sarada by the foot as she tries to follow.

You tune out your team for now, they'll follow your orders. You dash towards the closest machine, then dash around its head as it fires towards you. You fly around its back, grabbing both of the bombs from the machine's back, flying up as the others fire at you. The now bomb-less machine is riddled by lasers, causing the machine to explode in a shower of scrap parts.

"Taaaake THIS!!" you shout, tossing the explosives down at the destroyers. The explosions are even more massive than you remember, the blast tossing you up through the sky for dozens of feet until you regain control. Looking down as he smoke clears, your attack paid off. Four more of the giant machines lay in chunks, leaving seven left in fighting shape.

"...Damn." Sarada says, clearly impressed. "Getting hit by one of those would probably be lethal."
For a brief moment, your mind flashes back to that day. But then you're back in the moment, the machines all turning to face you as the Doctor's old war saucers begin flying around as well, engaging the Blargian attack ships.

"Alright, it works." you say, looking around your team. "Now we'll all do it. Meloka, Tunnip, Sarada, we'll all snatch their bombs then toss them down and destroy them. Everyone ready? LET'S GO!"

With that your team all rush down at the giant machines, dodging their laser blasts and grabbing at least an explosive each then getting clear.

"Circle them!" you shout out, a bomb held in either hand as you get clear. You watch your team all evade the slow-moving machines, getting clear of the attacks' increased range. "Everyone ready?"
"Ready!" your team echoes, hoisting their explosives.

"NOW!"

With that, you all toss the bombs down at the machines then get clear. Before they can fire any attacks, the combined blasts consume the machines in a brilliant flash. As the light fades, you all look down into the newly-made crater, seeing none of the colossi survived the blast. Taking a look around you can see two cities, one to the north and one to the west. To the south, you see what appears to be movement on the ground, maybe an army? To the east are a chain of mountains. Of course, you could always stay here and help destroy the attacking saucers.

"Karn, what's the plan?" Meloka asks you, looking up to you.

"Let's clear the air here, give the Blarg fighters some breathing room." you tell your team. "Let's take these bastards out."

"Hell yeah!" Sarada says, flaring her aura up and charging at the nearest attack wing of the late Doctor.

"This'll be fun." Tunnip says, crossing her arms in front of herself and activating her Dual Energy Blades. She leaps out into the fray, blades wildly spinning.

"I'll handle this quick." Meloka says, charging up energy into her palms. You leave her to her carnage, protecting her back. You start flying towards another group of fighters trying to target her, Firing a quick Energy Wave into the lead ship, the rest scattering to avoid the attack. But you're not letting them get away that easily. You dash after the scattered attackers, driving fist-first through the first one you reach, the machine exploding behind you as you go through it. The rest of the wing fares no better, you picking them off one by one until you hear it.

"HELLZONE GRENADE!!"

Turning, you see Meloka firing off that swarm attack, but more focused and precise. Each one of the blasts homes in on and destroys a different attacking saucer, Meloka's attack wiping out the entire fleet of saucers around single-handedly. You all simply stare on, even the Blargian pilots are stunned by the display of precision destruction.

"Hey, nice one!" Sarada says over the scouter comm line. "That was impressive. I see why ol' Karn has his eyes on you."
"Everyone heads up!" Tunnip shouts. "They're here!"

Turning back towards the south, you see that the movement you'd seen before was indeed an army. An army of bulky-looking machines has arrives, all equipped with what appear to be rifles of some sort. They begin firing as they march towards you all, their weapons laser beams shredding the Blargian ships.

"Karn what's the play here?" Sarada asks you over the scouter.

"Wait what?" she asks you, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Remember planet Jhoria?" you ask her. "I think I'll borrow that move. Everyone, cover me. I'll need about a minute."
"R-Right!" Meloka says, then turns to your teammates. "Alright everyone, protect Karn! This'll clear them out, but we need to buy him some time! Tunnip, you-"

At that point, you tune everyone out, focusing on your power. You draw your energy into a point between your palms, gathering more and more power into this sphere. Opening yourself completely, your power flows freely, forming a massive sphere of power above you.

"Its done!" you shout to your team, focus snapping back to reality. "GET CLEAR!!"
Your team don't even look back, all dashing out to the sides and leaving your attack lane clear. The machines attempt to attack you, but your attack is more powerful than their rifles. The massive ball of energy slams down into the ground, detonating with a mighty boom.

You rush and meet her charge, your and her fists crashing together and creating a powerful shockwave, blasting your teammates away. The force seperates the two of you as well, knocking you both back. You rush at her as she does the same, but the difference in your powers soon becomes apparent. You both close the distance and clash, throwing punches and kickes several times faster than normal eyes could follow, but you're starting to lose the encounter. With a final punch, your fists connect and blast you both back again.

However, she doesn't stop there. Before you can act, she fires a beam similar to Freeza's from her left hand. You try to dodge, but are caught flat footed by her again. Her attack catches you in the knee, the beam piercing through your kneecap. Crying out in pain, your hands instinctively grab your leg, leaving you open for another attack. You can't react in time, her attack's execution is flawless. Before you can defend yourself, she's closed in on you again, delivering a bone-crushing punch to your gut, then a frontflip into an axe kick to your head, sending you crashing down into the ground. She closes in again, her pursuit relentless. But before she can hit you, a wave of energy passes between the both of you, forcing her off her attack. Meloka lands between the two of you, palm leveled at her.
"That's enough." Meloka says, fury rising in her voice. "Just who the hell are you?"

"Emilia Zoldyck. I'm here for the man who killed my brother, step aside."

"Oh I don't think so." Meloka says menacingly, glaring at the gir as she transforms. Golden aura flaring up, hair spiking, Meloka shouts out, "If you want my Karn you'll have to go through me!"

"No this is!" you shout as she closes in on you. With her so close, you activate your Energy Blade as she approaches, the pint-sized assassin barely able to dodge the killing blow. Your blade bites into her gut, throwing a splash of blood on the ground as she flies past. The girl crashes down to the ground, clutching her gut in pain as she tries to stand. But you're not giving this assassin the chance. Quickly rushing her while she's down, you chop down at her prone form.

However, the assassin is ready, rolling to your left side and kicking you in the side of your knee, dropping you down on the ground. As she does this she rolls to her feet, drawing her own Energy Blade and swinging it down at you. But you're ready. With your free arm you catch her wrist then stab her through the gut with your Energy Sword. Her eyes go wide, staring down at the wound then to you. Her blade dissipates as she begins sliding off your blade. As she falls backward onto the ground, her hands go to her gut, clenching the wound shut. You rise a little unsteady to your feet, your knee absolute agony. But looking on, the assassin does something unexpected: she stands. Slowly, unsteadily, she rises, glaring at you.

"You've done it now." she says, smirking smugly at you. "I hope you're ready for it."
"For what?" you ask confused.
"THIS!" she hoarsely shouts.

Just as you're about to lose your patience, she sighs out, defeated. Transforming back down into her childlike form, she then looks up to you and starts talking.

"It was Dr. Nefarious." she says, sounding broken. "He hired my brother to assassinate you. Then when he failed, Nefarious offered my father his help in getting his revenge. Father was furious, Kill was to be his heir. He'll stop at nothing to see you dead. And he's much stronger than me, you won't stand a chance."

Before you can finish what you were saying, you see one of the Grey bombs dropping right in front of your face. You have no time to get clear, the best you can do is defend yourself from the blast.

The blast rocks the area, you feel yourself tossed like a ragdoll through the air, flying for several seconds until you regain control. Looking around, you see your teammates were all caught by the blast. Tunnip is laying in the crater alongside the Zoldyck assassin, neither moving. Continuing to look around, you see a machine you're never seen before in the air above you all.

"I will NOT allow you to make peace with the Zoldycks, nor send them after me!" Nefarious shouts, his voice coming from the giant machine. "I'll kill you here and now!"

"Not while I'm here!" you shout, dashing straight to the machine and punching it in the head, causing the machine to spin and collapse into a ball. As it crashes into the ground, it continues to roll, turning itself back towards you. It explodes back into its humanoid shape, springing off the ground and punching at you. You block the strike, the force of the impact sending you back through the air a few dozen feet before you can stop. Lowering your arms, you see Nefarious's murderbot leveling its arm at you.

"Now you die, you damnable ape!" he shouts, the robot firing five of its rocket-propelled warheads at you.
