"After we return this hammer we need to buy a new one, it's a great weapon"

"I want to get a weapon upgrade too, like a crossbow, or a bow that shoots 5 arrows at a time or something"

You hear talking coming from deeper in the caves. You creep closer and see a section with three cauliflowers standing around. Nearby is a corridor covered by a curtain with a emblem of a pumpkin painted on. The Vegetable men speak idly with their weapons lying unguarded.

"Are we all that's left?"

"Could be, I don't think any other types of vegetable ran away. Only us Cauliflowers survived."

"I can't believe the Pumpking was a human in disguise all along, I wonder if anything he told us was true at all"

I enjoyed reading this and will look for it in the future.
I like the H&C art style and might totally steal some of your conventions and mechanisms.

This seems like a well done quest and I would like to participate next time.
You did a nice job recapping within the episode but I'm gonna try to read the previous episodes.

> Is there a particular time when I should check back?

Whatever Sunday 9:00am AEST is relative to you my man. Just run that shit through a timezone converter...
>>
>>1878975
cheers m8

I try to run at 8:00 am on Sundays in UTC+8. This particular thread started around 2 hours late though.

Steal away, my mechanics are mostly stolen from a video game. making an attack takes up to 3 dice rolls, and has lots of variables. (I use a c++ program to calculate the results of the attacks for me.)
>>
>>1879080
>>1879418
Thanks! I botched the conversion, but if the start of this thread is typical, I should be able to join an hour, or three, late next time.

As far as the stolen mechanisms go, I like how you implement the skill or combat checks and present the damage and such in the /qst/ format.
