So, you thought that maybe you should need some rest by camping aside to the lake for one day, all you need to do is to find sticks to build a camp fire and then find a way to sleep in for the night.

About a couple of hours passed, the campfire is ready to be lit, now all it needs is either charcoal or rub some sticks to make fire. But first, you need a drink off from this lake.

You looked around the lake to see if any creatures were drinking from this lake and saw nothing coming. However, it started to get strange when you saw some birds both beautiful and colorful were staring at you like a hawk.
What would you do?

“Why are you staring towards me?” you asked, “I didn’t try to do something wrong.”

As you asked them the question, it went briefly silent for a few seconds before a deep voice answered, “Drink it.”

“What?” you replied in confusion, “Who said that answer?”

“Just drink it. You’ll never notice a thing” told the deep voice.

You drank the water off from the lake as it told you to do before they flew away without another word. You return to the campfire to light it up as the sun sets.

While you’re setting up, you started to feel weird when the spine was tingling by something inside of your body when suddenly you faint out as the tingles continue. As the eyes begin to blacken, you saw a dark figure that resembles a human before it cuts to black.

The next morning you started to hear again as another voice was telling you to wake up, this time it was more natural, yet woman-like.

“Wake up, feathered stranger, it’s time to start your first day” she called.

”F-feathered…?” you muttered as you open your eyes slowly. “Yes, you stranger. Someone wanted to meet you at the lab.” She replied.

When your eyes were fully open, at first it all blurred out as all you could see is a lightish teal blob before it clears out to be another bird, let alone the one who suddenly walks and talks like a human being, more like an anthro.

You gaze at her appearance at first sight, as her body seems like something has fused a bird into a human for a strange mad science experiment and her top feathers in her head made it look like someone had turned those into more like it was hair.

”Um…. Who are you supposed to be?” you questioned. Her eyes widen like she was feeling a little surprised, “Really, stranger?” she curiously replied, “Are you feeling lost by the way I look like?”

“Uh… Y-yes?” you shuddered in confusion. The woman then started to glare at you for a brief moment like she was going to freak out before she calmed herself down by breathing, “Okay, now before I could explain why did I look like I was the runt of the avian species, I wanted you to see yourself.” she said.

She then opened the wardrobe to see the mirror that was at the center of the shelves before you walked towards her and turned to the mirror and what you have seen is that you’ve been turned to bird as well, but the difference here is that of the different feather colors of red, yellow and orange.

You decided to get out of the captivity as well to follow the Heron to see what she was going.

So you approach the door and head outside where you are surprised to learn that there was a tribal village right in front of you.

At first, you thought that this is a hallucination because the birds were living inside of those Polynesian-like buildings like a habitat, but what makes it even odder is what lies from the outside of the village.

There was a laboratory room filled with alchemy equipment aside from other towns that other animal species live in different sections as if the scientist has built a zoo within the lab.

Then you saw the Heron flying towards to the glass wall thinking that she might find a secret passageway that leads to the said lab. So without any knowledge of flying, you decided to follow her using your feet while you tried to ask the woman for help.

“Please, I needed your help.” You yelled to the Heron, “I don’t know how to fly like that!”

She then turned her head to you and responded to your question, “Simple, dear stranger, very simple. Just use your brain and think like a bird, that will help you solve your problems.”
