Five years ago, the warrior race known as the Saiyans were annexed into Emperor Freeza's armies. Since that day, the Saiyans have acted as the emperor's loyal servents, sent first onto dozens of worlds, exterminating all who oppose Lord Freeza's rule. As mighty conquerors, destroying all who have stood against them, the Saiyans quickly made a name for themselves as some of Freeza's most powerful and loyal subjects.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, currently Age 736 of the "canon" timeline. You the players, having survived past your "canon" death, are changing history. From here forward your actions may even change the fate of the universe itself.

You are Karn, a Saiyan Brawler with a powerlevel of 24533 and leader of your own attack squadron. Your current teammates are:
Prince Vegeta, Blaster, 25090
Meloka, Blaster, 14283
Tunnip, Blaster, 10356
General Nappa, Brawler, 11862
Android, Pilot, n/a

Character Sheet: https://pastebin.com/iPAJeGJn

Quest rules(which have been modified):
>20 minute vote times or first vote to reach 3 wins, any ties decided by my roll
>first 3 rolls only, best of the 3 wins
>Crits are 100, unless otherwise stated
>Crit fails (1) will count ONLY if no roll passes DC, OR two 1s are rolled in the first 3 rolls
>I hold final say on any decisions; write-ins are both allowed and encouraged, but will be shut down if too meta or game-breaking.

Quest will usually start every Saturday between 7-9am EST, and run through the entire weekend. Also for updates or schedule changes follow me on twitter @GrandDragonQM

Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:
Karn sparred Meloka, which ended in a win for your mate, then training on the trip to your next assignment. Arriving on Dun, you meet with the world's new owner, a strange alien named Aku. Then it was time to settle things once and for all with Dr. Nefarious. After a long fight that pushed your team to their limits and beyond, you stand victorious over the doctor's body, claiming his head as a trophy. As you leave the Master of Masters' world, a gut feeling tells you to return home instead of Freeza Planet 79. We now rejoin Karn's team one week later in space, now that everyone has recovered from their injuries thanks to extended use of your ship's healing pod.

You awaken groggily in what feels like the early morning. Looking over at Meloka, you see that she's still fast asleep. With a small smile on your face you yawn and get out of bed, stretching the sleepiness out of your limbs. Dressing in your training gear, which has basically become your casual wear by this point, you also grab your scouter and boot it up. You haven't turned it on since you were on Planet Dun, so you decide to check everyone's powerlevels. You know that after the battle you all had, everyone will certainly be stronger than before. Your scouter grabs 5 powerlevels in the vicinity and they read as such:

After scanning everyone's powerlevels, you hear what sounds like muffled whispers. Walking to your door, you press your ear to it and are able to make out the voice somewhat clearly. Is that Prince Vegeta?
"Why Father? Why can't I stay here with-"
"Because you are of the royal blood son." you barely hear King Vegeta's voice interrupt. "You must learn your place. He may be the Legendary Super Saiyan, but he is still a low-class runt."

Yeah, you're not just going to let them talk about you like you're not here. Opening the door, you walk up to the bridge where Prince Vegeta is in a chair speaking to his father.
"It doesn't matter if he was a low class, you made him an elite yourself!"
"That was only because-" the king starts, before you interrupt.
"Because what, my liege?" you say, cutting him off.
"Karn!" Vegeta says and stands quickly, like a kid caught with his hand in a cookie jar.
"G-greetings Elite Karn." King Vegeta says, his composure only faltering for a moment. "I take it your mission went well?"
"Of course. We're Saiyans, we don't fail. Now what is all this about?"
"Simple. When you land, my son and the general will be assigned a squad of their own. He needs leadership experience as well as serving under someone."
"But I don't want to go!" Prince Vegeta says. "Why can't I just stay here?"
"Because you are the Saiyan Prince, and it is time for you to act like it." King Vegeta says angrily. "Enough acting like a petulant child, the decision is made." And with that, King Vegeta cuts the connection.

The prince turns to you, tears forming in his eyes, "I-I don't want to go."
"Why not?" you ask the young prince.
"W-what happens if I get in trouble and you're not around? I'm not ready to go alone! I still make mistakes, what if I get my team killed? What if they don't listen to me? What if-"
"Prince Vegeta." you say, drawing his attention.

That's my point though, right?

It's always a gigantic thinly veiled self insert in every thread, "meh sagely advice" "Meh hurt but dont kill" "Meh don't be creepy even though we're a villian" Nobody actually plays the CHARACTER, they play what they see themselves as as the character and it drives me LOCO.

You kneel down in front of the prince, and put your hands on his shoulders.
"Vegeta. You're ready for this. I've spent months training you, and you've made it through some of the toughest fights I've ever personally been in. You'll make a great leader someday, Vegeta. I believe in you."
Vegeta nods, wiping the tears from his eyes. "You're right. I can do this!"
"That's the spirit." you tell the prince, standing. "Come on, let's get to work."

You lead the prince to the gravity chamber, and crank it up to 10x Planet Vegeta's gravity. After you both get through your morning workouts, you both spar for several hours straight, you both pushing each other to the limits. As you break for lunch and are about to leave the gravity chamber, something hits the ship and causes it to rock slightly. Your pilot's voice comes over the comms, Collision detected. Unknown object lodged into cargo hold.
"That sounds serious." Vegeta says, sounding worried. "Should we check it out?"

"Yeah, let's go." you tell the prince, then you both run to the cargo hold. When you get there, you can see the unknown projectile immediately. It looks like a tree trunk, except made of some sort of black resin and it ends in a point. As you both watch, the point splits into four like a flower, sealing the side of the ship again and keeping the atmosphere inside. You both stare as an odd looking creature emerge from the projectile. Made of the same black resin-like material, it has an oddly-shaped eyeless head, slashing claws, and a tail that ends in a spear point. Before either of you can react, it leaps towards the both of you, claws towards both of your chests. You react too slow, its claws throwing a splash of blood from your chest as the impact sends you to the ground. The prince reacts fast enough to dodge the claws, spinning out of the way. But its tail smacks him across the face, sending him to the ground. You and the prince stand, facing the Hive drone, then see several more of the drones emerge from the projectile, all orienting on you both.

The prince rushes the one that slashed you, his barrage of punches and kicks keeping it on the defensive and unable to counterattack. You quickly charge up an Energy Bomb as the rest rush you, their hisses sending shivers down your spine. As they're about to reach you, you launch your attack into the middle of the group. They don't react quick enough, the blast exploding in their faces. The force of the blast sends you sliding across the metal floor, and two of the aliens flying through the air to crash into walls. You look to the one who took your blast, and can tell its now-headless corpse isn't going to fight anymore.

Vegeta can hold his own, you need to handle those two. You charge up your Dual Energy Wave, glancing back and forth between your two targets. Right as you fire, the one near Vegeta springs up towards the prince. Your wave misses that one, but the other impacts the far one and obliterates it. Turning to help the prince, you see he caught the one springing at him by an arm, spun it in a quick half-circle and flung it towards the other one. The nimble creature leaped over its comrade and sunk its tail spike deep into Vegeta's shoulder, the young Saiyan crying out and falling to a knee.

As you rush towards the creature, Vegeta grabs the Drone's tail with one hand and with the other severs it with a vicious chop. The creature skreees in pain, blood spraying everywhere as it whips its tail around. You dash to the prince and pull him away before he gets doused in the acidic blood. Making sure the blood from its still embedded tail doesn't drip on either of you, you both stand back and watch the injured beast writhe in pain. The prince grabs the tail still in him and tugs it out, a spray of his own blood mixing with the small puddle of acid at your feet.
"So, these things have acidic blood as well as claws and a tail. Anything else I should know?" Vegeta asks you, assuming his fighting stance.
"They can-" you start, but the rushing Drone cuts you off, claws slashing and tail spraying blood at the both of you, forcing you to seperate.

"You've got this, I'm going to finish off that other one." you tell the prince, dashing over to where Vegeta threw the other Drone. Looking around, you see a grate cover pulled from a vent and a tail quickly disappearing up inside it. Before it can get away, you rush to it and grab the beast by the tail and pull, dislodging it from the vents before it knows what is happening. You spin in a circle, tossing the alien into a wall. The creature dents the wall on impact then falls to the ground, laying still for a moment before standing. You're not going to give this thing any opportunity to counterattack. You dash to it quick, charging your Energy Punch as you close in. It tries to slash you, but you duck the swing then deliver an Energy Punch uppercut, the energy exploding and obliterating the beast's head. The blast keeps its blood from spraying on you as it collapses, obviously dead at your feet. You turn and run back to Vegeta, just in time to see the prince firing an Energy Wave down on the creature, engulfing it in energy. The blast destroys the creature, pieces flying everywhere. The prince lands beside you, breathing ragged.
"I-is that all of them?" the prince asks you, hand to his shoulder wound.
"Yeah we got them." you tell the prince.
"But what about that?" he asks, pointing to the projectile still embedded in your ship.

"Let's check it out now, make sure nothing's hiding in it." you tell the prince, walking towards the transport. "Then we'll get you in that healing pod, get that shoulder fixed up."
"I'm fine." Vegeta says, pulling his hand from the wound self-conciously. "Let's finish this.

Nodding to the young prince, you both walk up to the opening of the needle-like Hive transport. Looking around inside, you don't see anything. Until you look all the way to the back, and see movement. An odd-looking protrusion from the back, with a cylinder to its right. Realizing the danger, you push the prince down then leap away, a storm of small, razor-sharp needle-like projectiles explode from that swarm defender's arm cannon. The shards tear through the air and imbed themselves into the far wall. You hear its cannon sucking in air to prepare another shot.

"Stay down." you tell the prince, charging up your Energy Bomb again. "Those'll tear you apart if they hit you."
You then leap past the opening and throw the Bomb in. It tried to fire at you, but your bomb obliterates the shards as it travels down the tube, impacting the shield and exploding. The blast obliterates the alien, shield and all. You walk into the projectile, examining the interior when the prince shouts out,

You immediately go to drop toward the ground, intending to dodge whatever attacked you. You're too slow. You feel a sharp pain, looking down you see a tail spear protruding from your gut. You go to grab it, but it withdraws before you can. Collapsing, you look up and see the one that stabbed you on the ceiling. It drops down beside you, looking at you hungrily. It opens its mouth, revealing its second mouth. Right as it goes to pounce on you, Vegeta's Energy Wave takes the Drone in its side, punching straight through it and sending the beast into the wall.

"Yeah I'm fine." you tell the prince, standing back up. Your gut wound is painful, but not completly debilitating or life-threatening. You both examine the interior of the projectile, even going over it with scouters to ensure no more "surprises". Satisfied that there's nothing else there, you both exit the Cargo Bay and are greeted by the rest of your team running up.
"Karn! Vegeta! What happened?!" Meloka shouts, sliding to a halt in front of you.

"We were boarded by the Hive." you say, Nappa and Meloka's faces going white.
"The Hive?" Tunnip asks, confused. What's that?"
"They're a scourge." Nappa says, still clearly shaken. "They send a handful or two on a planet, and within the year the whole planet has become just like the Hive. Me, Karn, and Leyas fought some of them, back in the day. Only battle we've ever had to run from, too. How'd you two fight them off?"
"There were only a half-dozen." Vegeta replies, hand going back to his shoulder wound. "They weren't that tough."
"Bullshit, look at you both!" Meloka says angrily, putting your arm across her shoulders and floating up to your height. "You've both been hurt pretty bad. You're going to the healing pod immediately and getting put back together."
"Let the prince go first, he's in worse shape." you say. "He's lost a lot more blood than I have." As if on cue, the prince slumps over. He would have hit the ground, but Tunnip catches him first.
"Poor kid." she says, looking slightly upset. "Let's get you to the pod."

Once the prince has been squared away in the pod, you slump against it, feeling weak from the pain and blood loss. Meloka sits with you, her head resting on your shoulder as you slip into a restless sleep.

You're asleep, floating in an endless void when a vast feeling of uneasiness creeps up your spine. Your instincts have never let you down before, so you force yourself awake. Opening your eyes, the sight before you makes no sense. You're clearly in the healing pod, the green tint giving it away. In front of you and the pod is Meloka, standing with her back to you, looking tense and ready to fight. Across from her stand three figures, but you can't quitemake them out. You blink a few times, and see the figures clearly: three more Hive Drones! Watching wide-eyed, the one in the middle takes a half step forward and speaks, its voice very serpentine,
"Give him to usss, and you may live, Sssssaiyan."
"Over my dead body!" Meloka shouts, aura flaring. "You can't have him!"

Shit, Meloka's in trouble. Placing your hand on the door at the hinge, you let out a short shout and push. You break down the healing pod's door, it falling to the ground behind Meloka. Her and the Drones all stop, and look at you as you emerge. Your wounds aren't completly healed, but they won't reopen and bleed everywhere. You walk up and stand beside Meloka, facing the one who spoke.

You say nothing, and simply start to walk towards the creature.
"Karn! What are you doing?" Meloka shouts, before turning back to face the two behind you. The creature says nothing, simply watching your movements. When you walk within range, it tries to strike you with its tail. Tries. You draw your Energy Blade and split its tail down the middle, cutting it into two almost-even halves. You use the momentum to roll clear of the alien, dodging the spray of acid blood. You turn to finish the creature, only to see it having lept and clinging to the ceiling like a bug. You dash at it and swing your blade, only for it to dodge the strike and go for your eyes. You slap aside the thrusting claws with your other hand, then follow up with a backhanded swing of your blade. It twists to avoid a lethal strike, but your blade cuts into the flesh of its back, causing the creature to skree in pain. It drops to the ground, you following close and landing between it and the door, not allowing it to get away. Looking over its shoulder, you see Meloka holding her own. Instead of fighting back, she's simply dodging their attacks, no doubt waiting for you to finish your opponent then help her.

You rush at the Hiveling, determined to cut it down quick. You slice horizontally, intending to decapitate it. The beast slides under your swing and gets behind you, catching and holding you similar to a full nelson. Before you can break free, one of the ones fighting Meloka dashes over and stabs at you with its tail. You manage to dodge most of the strike, it only scoring a cut along your ribs instead of impaling you. Releasing the Energy Blade, you use an Explosive Wave to free yourself from the hold.

Taking a second to catch your breath, you check your opponents. The two you Explosive Waved away are embedded in the walls, while Meloka has the third backed into a corner.

But before it could capitalize on the opening, your boot crashes down on top of its head. With a satisfying crunch, your boot crushes the thing's skull.

"Hey Meloka, distract that one for me will you? I'll finish off the other one then come help you."
"Sure hun!" she says, launching herself at the standing alien. The two exchange a flurry of strikes, the Hiveling on the defensive. You turn and dash over to the one still stuck in the wall, drawing your Energy Blade for a quick kill when inspiration strikes. You grab the beast by its leg, then shout to Meloka as you throw it, "DUCK!!"

Meloka rolls back away from the Drone, it turning to the sound of your voice. Before it can react the body of its compatriot slams into it, them both crashing into the far wall. You dash over to the stunned aliens and slice them to pieces, not stopping until each is in at least a half dozen pieces.

"Well you got them." Meloka says, walking up to you as you deactivate your Energy Blade. "So who are we helping now?"
Well?

HOLY SHIT
I JUST REALIZED

Vegeta = Vegetable
Tunnip = Turnip
Paragus = Asparagus
Raditz = Radish
Karn = Corn
Meloka = Melon

I'm just realizing these. Are there more? Why are Saiyans named after veggies?

ALSO

Every Saiyan is vegetable-named. Every single one.
Because Toriyama enjoys theme names with different races. Like Piccolo, Drum, Tambourine, etc.
>>
>>1721829
Is there a place that lists all of these?
>inb4 the Dragonball wiki
>>
>>1721803
Because Toriyama loves puns, the whole saiyans are vegetables thing is pretty well known. In fact, everyone's name is a pun of some kind

Bulma's family are all underwear puns

Krillin and the characters associated with him are chestnut puns

The Gods of destruction and their angels are alcohol puns

etc. etc.

"Let's go check up on Tunnip first and make sure our pilot is ok too." you say, heading for the door. The trip to the bridge is uneventful, until you arrive. Once there, you see the android pilot has been bisected and Tunnip is holding her own against one of the creatures. Before it even knows you're there, you both dash to it and use your Energy Blades, slicing the creature apart in an X. Tunnip's face lights up upon seeing you both.

"Karn! You're finally up!" Tunnip shouts, hope filling her face. "Damn, about time too. We're deep in the shit. Lost contact with Nappa and Vegeta an hour ago, and we're still tethered to this station full of the Hive. And I haven't had an easy time of it either." she says, sweeping her arm around the room, you noticing the other seven dead Hive Drones for the first time.
"So. What's the plan?"

"Plan? Here's the plan."

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=juXOFwKDXgs

Clenching your fists in anger, you feel the glorious golden power surge up through you. With a shout, you ascend into your true form. Like a bear waking from hibernation, the Legendary Super Saiyan has awakened once more!

"You two stay here." you tell them, the rage coloring your voice. "Meloka, keep Tunnip safe for me. With our pilot destroyed, she's the only one who can fly us the fuck out of here. I'm going out there and severing those damned anchors, getting Vegeta and Nappa back here, then I'm obliterating that damned station myself."

With that you take off back toward the cargo hold, where you know at least one anchor is. Making the trip in record time, you arrive to find the room overflowing with Drones, at least two dozen of them. They're all staring at you, none making a move.

The room you see looks like any other space station, or at least it used to. The black resin-like substance of the Hive has begun to take over the station, giving the area an extremely hostile vibe. Looking over the interior, you can see signs of a struggle. Scorch marks scar resin and metal alike, leading down to a hall to your left. Following the signs, killing the occasional Drone that tries to attack you, you're soon able to hear sounds of combat. Quickening your pace, you soon find the prince battling four of the creatures himself, the general slumped over in the corner.

Vegeta needs help first, Nappa doesn't appear to be in any immediate danger, and you're not sure how long the prince can hold out. Dashing into the fray, you kick one in the side with your full power, causing it to split in two. Everyone stops, staring at what just happened. Before they can react further, you dash to the next and dispatch it in a single strike as well. Before any of the creatures were able to truly react, you destroyed the four attacking the prince. He falls to the ground, catching his breath.
"Y-you made it." he says in between ragged breaths. "I was starting to think they'd gotten you."
"No way." you tell Vegeta, smirking. "We're Saiyans, remember?"
You extend a hand down to the prince, he stares at it for a moment before he grabs it and you pull him back up to his feet. Walking over to Nappa, you check to see if he's still alive. Pressing your ear to his chest, you hear his heartbeat. It is faint, but still there.
"So, what do we do now?" Vegeta asks you, still seemingly tired.
Well?

"But-"
"Now Vegeta!" you shout, catching a tail spear aimed at the prince. With a quick spin, you toss the creature back from where it came, firing a quick Energy Wave after it. The prince gets the general's shoulder over his, then lifts your friend up and you both fly off in the direction of the boarding spike. You protect your friends through the halls, slaughtering at least two dozen of the Hivelings before you reach the spike. Vegeta carries Nappa inside, then you contact Tunnip and Meloka to see how they're handling everything as you scour the ship for the anchors.
"We've got it under control." Meloka's voice comes in over the hum of her Energy Blade and the sounds of combat. "But we need to get out of here soon."
"Right." you tell her, drawing your Energy Blade to sever the anchors. "Vegeta and Nappa are on board now, Nappa's out of commission. Tunnip, get on the controls and get this ship ready to move. I'm going to take care of these anchors then blast us an opening. Standby."
With that, you fly around the ship, slicing through the huge resin-like cables that emerge from the dozens of small spikes protruding from your ship. Once you've checked the entirety of the ship, and severed every last cable, you take up position in front of the ship.
"Tunnip you ready? I'm going to blast us a way out, straight ahead."

"Go for it Karn, we're ready!"" Tunnip shouts in your ear, you hearing the ship's engines firing up. Right, time to clear a path.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1daGIebkZRc

You throw your arms out to your sides, gathering up your full power in preparation to fire your Final Flash and get out of this hellhole. You hear several dozen of the Drones coming up behind you, but you can't take the time to stop and handle them. Closer and closer they come, this will be close. Slamming your palms together, your attack is ready to fire!

"FINAL FLASH!!"

Your golden beam fires forth from your hands, slamming into the side of the station. Your attack tears through the wall, the inside of the station you're on now exposed to open space. The void tears everything inside the station out into the crushing darkness of space. You, the ship, the Hive's forces, everything is flung into the void.

"You got it." you tell Meloka, turning to the Hive members rushing you. Faster than they can follow, you rush through them and destroy each one with a single strike. You wade through those in space, destroying every living creature in the void with you. Once that's done, you stand on the roof of the ship and take aim at the station.

Slinging your arms to your sides, you begin charging your energy into your palms again, intending to destroy that entire kaisforsaken station. Slamming your palms together, you fire your most powerful attack again directly at the station.

The Drone is headed right for you, there's no time to move, no strength to stop it. But before it can end you it is suddenly sent flying over your head to crash into the wall behind you.Your eyes follow the creature, then snap back to the doorway. Meloka! She's standing there, palm outstretched, glaring at the Hiveling with a look of pure hate. Before it can get up, she dashes over to it and draw-cuts decapitates it with her Energy Blade. As the two pieces of the Drone hit the ground, she's already under your shoulder, taking to the air to pull your exhausted frame off of the ground.
"Are you okay?" she asks you worried.
"I'm fine." you reply to her. "Just exhausted. How's everyone doing?"
"We're okay. Nappa's still out, Vegeta and I were holding the bridge so Tunnip could fly us out."

As you talk, Meloka carries you straight to the bridge, blasting two Drones who'd thought they could take her while she was carrying you on the way. Once inside, Vegeta throws the switch to lock the doors behind you both, Meloka laying your exhausted form on the ground.

"Good you're here." Tunnip says, worry coloring her voice. "Because we've got a problem. Long story short, the ship's not going to make it back to Planet Vegeta. And from what the maps're showing, we have three options of where to land."
"What have we got?" you ask her.
"First, there's a Blarg station nearby. They're allied with the PTOso we shouldn't have any real fights on our hands. As a military installation, they'll have the means to fix our ship guarenteed. Downside, its the furthest away right now and I'm not sure we can hold out long enough in here to reach it.
Second, there's an empty planet a shorter distance away. Only downside is we'd need Freeza Force techs sent to us to finish the repairs to the ship, we just don't have the parts or tools.
Lastly, there's an infamous pirate spaceport not too far from here. We could maybe find the parts and tools needed there, or we could just simply steal another ship. If all our throats aren't slit in our sleep.
So, what're we gonna do?"

"We'll take the pirate station." you tell Tunnip. "How long should that trip take us?"
"About three days." Tunnip says, punching the coordinates into the ship. "We can hold out that long, right?"
"Of course." the prince says, confidently. "We just have to hold long enough for you to get some sleep and recover, right Karn?"
"I think I can manage that much." Nappa says, rising slowly from the ground.
"Nappa! You're okay!" the prince says excitedly.
"Yeah I'm fine." Nappa says, standing tall and stretching out. "Bastards gave me one hell of a headache though. You rest Karn, I'll handle things for awhile."
"Thanks Nappa." you say, collapsing onto your back and passing out almost immediately.

After you awaken, you all take turns guarding Tunnip and the bridge. The Hive Drones, however, don't make a move towards your group. They must either be waiting to ambush your group, or are waiting until you land to go after whatever else is on world. Regardless, you don't let your guards down for the entire trip, leaving everyone high-strung and nervous. After three long, stressful days, your group arrives at the aptly-named Pirate's Den. A gruff voice comes in on the comms,
"Who're you and what's your business?"
Well?

You all leave the bridge simultaneously, none of the Hive Drones waiting outside the door for you. Your group splits up and activates your scouters, then begin the hunt. Corridor by corridor, room by room, you all seek out and destroy the Hive infestation. After several tense hours and a few close calls, you all regroup outside the cargo hold where the very last signal is coming from.

"Not yet." you tell Meloka, watching the fight unfold. "Vegeta needs this Meloka. He needs to see he can lead a team to vicrory, especially against something stronger than him. He can't do everything himself."
She looks at you oddly, but doesn't comment. Instead, you both focus on the fight, watching it unfold.

Vegeta is front and center, holding the beast's attention. Dodging strikes and retaliating, The prince and the Hive creature seem an even match. Nappa is up close, using his physical strength to grab the beast's limbs and slow the large creature's strikes, then leaping away before it can retaliate. Tunnip is flying around, taking shots of opportunity. But with the power difference, her attacks seem completly ineffectual. The beast grows tired of her attacks and swings its tail around at Vegeta, forcing the prince to abandon his attack and block. But the creature's turn had another purpose: it catches Tunnip off guard. The creature grabs Tunnip from the air and begin squeezing her, trying to crush her.
"Tunnip!" Vegeta and Nappa shout, dashing to the now-captured Saiyan.
"Karn!" Meloka says, worry all over her face.

"Not yet, she's fine Meloka." you say, arms still crossed. As if on cue, she shouts and the creatures' hand explodes, Tunnip having created an Energy Blade in each hand and spinning, the blades destroying the beast's hand. It withdraws its arm rapidly, catching Vegeta by surprise. The giant elbow takes the prince in the face, sending him crashing into the wall.

Nappa then leaps into the creature's face and fires a huge mouth beam, catching it off guard. This attack does something to the beast, knocking it over backwards and giving your allies time to regroup. They all rally to Nappa, Vegeta gesturing and outlining a new plan in a few words. Nappa and Tunnip both nod, Meloka backing up while the other two Saiyans take up their fighting stances as the beast rises to its feet.
"Will that work?" Meloka asks you.
"Let's see." you reply, watching.

Nappa and Vegeta dash down at the creature and grab it by the longer pair of arms then pull, stretching its limbs out and holding it defenseless. It tries to pull its arms together, but forgets about Tunnip for a few crucial seconds. She dashes to the beast, arm blades held in an X before her. As she closes in on the beast, she combines the two Energy Blades together and swings. Her extended blade decapitates the beast in a single stroke, blade slashing effortlessly through its neck. As she flies past, a geyser of blood erupts from the beast's now opened neck. Vegeta and Nappa dashing away to avoid the acid spray. You all watch as the headless corpse falls, spilling acidic blood all over the floor. Vegeta reacts fastest, blasting the blood and vaporizing it before it can eat clean through the ship. With that beast taken care of, Vegeta lands before you, seeming nervous.

"Great job." you tell the prince, smiling down at him. "You led your team well, and secured the win. Well done." The prince beams up at you, proud to have impressed you. You all return to the bridge, and call the station back.

"Got rid of yer pests yet?" the gruff voice asks.
"They're done for. Are we allowed to land yet?"
"Yeah, come aboard." he tells you. "And mind yer manners."
With that, one of the platforms lights up, the airtight seal releasing. Tunnip takes the ship down to the platform, the airtight seal re-sealing over the entire platform, air returning into the area. As you all walk down the ramp, a group of aliens are there to greet you. As your two groups close in, the leader removes his mask and says,
"Greetings, hunters."

They won't take it as a trophy. Since you aren't skullhunting they'll see you as maniacs who kill just to kill. This may be enough to get permission to hunt your kind despite being PTO.
>socializing
Might be some down time soon. I mean, you have a ship in serious need of repairs, and not enough money on hand to fix it. Saying "PTO will cover it" when you didn't announce yourselves as PTO is unwise, at best. However, someone or someones may need a dangerous job or two done...

First false SSJ and ripping of mecha dragon's head for best.
Worst is still any time our team gets the shit kicked out of them.
>Most memorable?
Fighting Godzilla my dude. We got to meet the king of all monsters and then murder him.
>Combat ok?
It's just fine. If you do want to improve on writing fight scenes you might try to (and please just keep an open mind) take a page from SOMNIUS's book.
Not in terms of difficulty per say, but more in how characters react and how to describe people doing cool shit.
>>
>>1730867
Combat has been great in my opinion. Overall it's been a really fun story so far, best moments were meeting Frieza the first time and achieving true SSJ. I look forward to meeting Beerus as well, that will be fun. No real bad parts for me although I will be sad when Vegeta gets taken away from us (unless we can stop that somehow? Should we though? Being a team leader is a big deal...)

Also found great images to use for Karn as a Super Saiyan. Thanks Gohan, you're good for something.
>>
>>1731050
Man so Gohan is such a disappointment in Super. What a pathetic weakling he has become. Dude doesn't even know where his Gi is! You'd think, after all he has seen that he'd want to stay strong and powerful and teach his daughter to be strong in order to keep her and his whole family safe. Goku wont be around forever buddy and Krillin doesn't really cut it as protector of Earth.
>>
>>1731056
It seems pretty in character for him to forget about being a fighter.
Especially when his father and Vegeta are around.
Not to mention his scientific career ends up turning the majority of Earth's population into legit ki-using martial artists.
>>
>>1731056
But that's kinda Gohan's problem. Goku -is- always around. At the last second, maybe. But he ALWAYS shows up.
>>1731067
Only useful thing he ever accomplished.
>>
>>1731100
Remember the original plan for DBZ post Cell Saga?
Where Gohan would eventually grow into the role of Earth's Champion, probably would have had a much more compelling struggle with training and studying, etc...
Good times.
>>
>>1731106

>>
>>1731067
>.Not to mention his scientific career ends up turning the majority of Earth's population into legit ki-using martial artists.

Oh that's cool. I don't think I'm that far in yet
>>
>>1731143
It's Dragonball Online/Heroes/Xenoverse lore.
Around age 804, Gohan publishes his book, "Groundbreaking Science".
The book goes into detail about his scientific study of ki usage.
This would lead to Ki manipulation being brought to public interest.
Soon after interest in martial arts and ki manipulation exploded.
About 200 years later the general public has widespread knowledge and understanding of Ki manipulation.
This is all soft-canon and has yet to be contradicted, so it's pretty much canon till Toriyama, Toyotaro, or Toei says otherwise.
>>
>>1731177
So a bunch of Krillins are born? Still not good enough Gohan. If he really wanted to help without being a fighter he should have made a bunch of sperm donations along with the release of his book. Get as many Saiyans out as possible
>>
>>1731184
The Saiyan/Human Hybrid population actually expands quite a lot in that time as well.
Not to mention that if GT is anything to go buy, strong hybrids can reach ssj at around 10 years old with about 3-5 years of training.
The stock of warriors on Earth is fine in the future until Toei fucks it up somehow.
>>

It hasn't been written yet, in Karn's timeline. Also, he only knows a bit of written Tuffle and Galactic Basic, and numbers. If he found a book similar to that, however, he could potentially vastly improve some of his energy abilities. Including gaining ki sensing.

By suicide missions I mean interfering with the canon U7 timeline.
Or any timeline for that matter, there's some scary fuckers out there.

Why not both?

I imagine we're gonna have a tough time against Buu.
Or any Majin for that matter.

The universe is wide and full of dangers. Some will be unbeatable, depending on how/when you find them. If something outclasses you all so bad defeat is guarenteed, I'll say so.
>>
>>1732015
I imagine something like that will be the time we play smarter, and not harder.
A lot of the later movie villains had really exploitable weaknesses, so they shouldn't impossible to deal with if we use our heads.
>>
>>1732027
There are many things in the universe. Not all are beatable below certain thresholds

Probably around pic related, with his power restrained by the armor.
>>
>>1732114
Aw dangit
>>
>>1732114
I like to think he can go all the way up to final form frieza, but be completely outclassed by around 10 to 20 percent of Frieza's full power. That's just the way I've always thought of it in my head.
>>
>>1732137
>>1732186
He'll be tough, that's for sure
>>
>>1732186
Power-wise he is weaker than Frieza, but Endurance-wise he is at least Cell level, with his constant regeneration.
>>
>>1731974
But that's cute, not scary.
>>
>>1732985
As long as he hasn't transformed again, yes. His final form saps his endurance like the Kaio-Ken, but his gives more strength.
>>1732999
Why not both?
>>
>>1733035
So theoretically second form Boros could outlast Freeza, then blow final form to finish him off?
>>
>>1733042
Probably not. Freeza would most likely grow bored and destroy whatever planet they're on. Boros still needs to breathe.
>>
>>1733047
>Boros still needs to breathe.
Well, he can survive in open space without oxygen, BUT it will be as if he is in his final form, so not for long.
>>
>>1733051
Exactly.
>>
>>1733400
So question, when does time TRUNKS show up to try and kill us and our team?
>>
>>1733548
Good question. Whenever you're in a different timeline he can interfere in.
>>
>>1733678
Correct me if I am wrong, but for him to kill Karn, we must die first. Only after that we will get into Timeline changing buisness.
>>
>>1734559
ALMOST die. Towa will do her best to snatch you from the jaws of death, the moment before you die. SKoT isn't exactly vigilant in her duties, but Towa thinks it best to cover her tracks regardless.
>>
>>1735196
Okay here's the real deciding factor in who we go with.
Is SKoT gonna offer us her homemade food?
>>
>>1735225
That is a real question. Would Karn survive it?
>>
>>1735397
Would universe survive this? Last time she tried to make a cake, Crisis on infninte Earths happend.
>>
>>1735397
yes, but his zenkai will most likely be massive
>>
>>1735569
Ha!
>>1735580
Gains for the... time loli?
>>
>>1736335
How about hitting on her sisters\alternative versions?
>>
>>1736680
Naw. She's more into guy's like Bardock then anything.
Ya know, the tough guy anti-heroes.
Pretty sure Wolverine is her fantasy husbando.
>>
>>1736695
aren't we anti-heroes?
>>1736680
How did they go from that to loli? Someones a pedophile on the xenoverse dev team.
>>
>>1736680
>Tfw the one on the right hits way to many fetishes at once.
>>
>>1736698
I mean I guess?
I think we're more along the lines of being an interloper than anything.
Kinda like New Vegas where the protag is just a part of a the world and it's events and while still being somewhat important, he's not particularly necessary for resolution to the story.
>>
>>1736704
to be fair we have not been given the chance to be an anti-hero for all we know as we are now is what bardock was before the whole 'I CAN SEE THE FUTURE' thing
>>
>>1736705
You mean a bog-standard Saiyan who surprisingly gives a shit about his family?
Yeah we're actually incredibly similar to Bardock in that respect.
>>
>>1736695
>Naw. She's more into guy's like Bardock then anything.
Supreme Loli of Time is.
This versions is different I think.
Left one is Cute and more likely into heroes.
Midlle on is into anything that moves.
And right one is not interested in relations, because building stuff takes all of her time.
But thats just my headcannon and does not mean anything.

QM NEWS UPDATE

Ok so good news and bad. Good news is I'm finally getting days off. Bad news is for your guys I won't be running August the 12/13. I'm still running this weekend, but not the next one.
>>
>>1737729
It's cool bro.
Thanks for notifying us in advance.
>>
>>1738621
You're welcome and of course. If my schedules are ever delayed or postponed I'll notify everyone. Usually through both whichever thread is still up as well as twitter. Will update the twitter on this after this weekend's thread, don't want to confuse everyone.
>>
>>1738932
I just realized I forgot something important while reviewing thread and pretyping! I need rolls! Forgot to count in Karn and Vegeta's Zenkais from first contact with the hive. I need whoever shows up to read this to roll me a d2500+500, best of 3 if I get that many by tomorrow.
>>
>>1739490
>>
Rolled 914 + 500 (1d2500 + 500)

>>1739495
ah i fucked that up.
>>
>>1739496
All good. I'm just glad I caught the missed zenkai. Nappa didn't really get one because he just got knocked out, and Tunnip and Meloka didn't really get injured at all. You and Vegeta both got impaled and healed, needed to calculate that.
