The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros: a land of knights and nobles, bandits and brigands, and everything in between.

298 years after the legendary dragon rider Aegon Targaryen united 7 petty kingdoms into one vast realm, a Baratheon now sits upon the Iron Throne. King Robert Baratheon, usurper to some and a hero to others, has allowed his realm to wither away due to his negligence. Where once the royal coffers overflowed with coin, constant feasts and tourneys have drained what the Mad King amassed and left the Crown in debt to the Lannisters and the Iron Bank. Alas, the King is content to hunt and whore his way to an early grave.

But the Game of Thrones rewards ambition and punishes indolence; countless plots are brewing in the realm, and soon this time of strained peace shall shift into a maelstrom of war and deceit. Countless stories will unfold in the next few years. Some will end in triumph while most will lead to tragedy. Because when you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.

One young man stands upon the edge of adventure and danger, riches and ruin: you. What is your story?

>I am a proud scion of a Great House, the ruling class of Westeros and its various regions.

>My House holds lordship over a petty fiefdom, sworn to a greater House.

>With no claims or titles in my family, I remain a member of the undervalued smallfolk.
>>
Let me lay down a few rules/clarifications

1. Never created a quest before, never participated in one

2. Namefag if you want, won't keep track of ID's

3. I write this on mobile; may take a while between replies

4. Freeballing this entire thing because I'm confident in my writing ability

5. Basic plot planned out, but will WILDLY vary depending on the character made

6. Flame the absolute shit out of this guy when something rubs you wrong or my lore is wrong

Beyond that, strap in for a long running quest
>>
Also, will use 1d20 dice rolls for certain events. Critical failures MAY result in death.

Imagine being Bronn in that scene and having to be all like "damn, sandsnek, you fuckin' fine, all sexy with your tight body and horrific androgynous monster face. I would totally have sex with you, both my character and the real me." when all he really wants to do is fuck Lollys in his keep. Like seriously imagine having to be Bronn and not only sit in that cell while Rosabell Laurenti Sellers flaunts her disgusting body in front of you, the favorable lighting barely concealing her stretchmarks and leathery skin, and just sit there, take after take, hour after hour, while she perfected that dance. Not only having to tolerate her monstrous fucking visage but her haughty attitude as everyone on set tells her she's STILL GOT IT and DAMN, ROSABELL SELLERS LOOKS LIKE *THAT*?? because they're not the ones who have to sit there and watch her mannish fucking gremlin face contort into types of grimaces you didn't even know existed before that day. You've been fucking nothing but a healthy diet of blondes and stokeworths and later alleged rape victims for your ENTIRE KNIGHTHOOD coming straight out of the boonies in King's Landing. You've never even seen anything this fucking disgusting before, and now you swear you can taste the sweat that's breaking out on her dimpled stomach as she sucks it in to writhe it suggestively at you, smugly assured that you are enjoying the opportunity to get paid to sit there and revel in her "statuesque (for that is what she calls herself)" beauty, the beauty she worked so hard for with personal trainers in the previous months. And then D&D calls for another take, and you know you could kill every single person in this room before the studio security could put you down, but you sit there and endure, because you're fucking Bronn. You're not going to lose your future lordship over this. Just bear it. Hide your face and bear it.

You've spent your childhood beneath the scorching sun of Southern Westeros, among the endless dunes that stretch from sea to sea. The least populated region among the Seven Kingdoms, Dorne is viewed as both exotic and inhospitable by those that live to the north. They look down upon its Rhoynish customs, the sexual deviancy and penchant for deceit, but yours was the last Kingdom to fall. Aegon himself could not tame your people, only by marriage did your home become vassalized, and you are proud to be sworn to the Prince and Princess Martells.

Fewer Houses inhabit this sandy peninsula than elsewhere in the Kingdom, the lands of your fief stretching for miles and miles. Which landed House do you call family?

Most Houses remember their origins through stories and legends passed down from one generation to the next, but the Dayne have no need for embellished tales to learn from whence they came; they have proof of their founding in the form of the coveted and feared greatsword Dawn, forged from a fallen star over 10,000 years ago. Throughout the ages brave Dayne knights have stood trial for the honor of bearing it in battle, but only the most worthy are allowed to bear the name of Sword of the Morning. In the Age of Heroes your ancestors claimed the length of the raging Torrentine River as their kingdom, but bent the knee to Nymeria Martell in her conquest of Dorne.

You were born months into the bloody civil war between the Targaryens and Baratheons in the year 282AC into the cadet house of High Hermitage, bannerman to your Starfall cousins. Gerold Dayne, your older brother and often called 'Darkstar' by all but you, inherited the castle after your father Alyster was killed in the Battle of the Ruby Ford by Robert Baratheon's army. Only a boy of ten-and-two upon inheriting the castle, your brother soon lost his mother after complications from your birth caused unmanageable bleeding. You were left a ward of bookish Maester Ellery as Darkstar squired for Lord Arron of Starfall, raised with the knowledge you would not inherit land.

Maester Ellery raised you with the help of High Hermitage's servants, a task the man felt very nervous about. The man could hardly stand the heat of Dorne; long days were spent inside with him while reading or studying, and his erudite nature managed to rub off on you.

But there was something about you that really set you apart from other children your age and made you special. What did the gods deem fit to grant you?

>You devoured book after book, tome after tome in your thirst for knowledge. Maester Ellery was thrilled to see you excell in your studies and encouraged you to grow your intellect. With time, you could rival the Archmaester himself in wit and knowledge

>Despite your lethargic lifestyle your body grew tall and thick with natural muscle, able to beat children years older than you in feats of strength and stamina. You'll never be on par with that enormous monster known as The Mountain, but few could match you when fully grown.

>The glances and not-so-subtle stares of young lasses, and a few lads, only grew more and more frequent as you aged. The beautiful Valyrian look was something you inherited in vast numbers, and even a few wenches decades your age began to pay attention to you.

As you grew out of childhood into adolescence you began to feel confined by the high walls of High Hermitage, sick of dusty books and candle wax. The castle was nestled amidst the Red Mountains on a plateau overlooking the Torrentine, one of the few castles not buried amidst endless sand elsewhere in Dorne. You enjoyed socializing with the children of your household as you began to explore the rocky outskirts of the castle and along the riverfront. Nearly a dozen children lived in and around High Hermitage but few were more popular than you; a natural fitness and healthy diet allowed you to best those who faced you in games, and a combination of high confidence and good looks developed into a rather good-natures and charming personality. When the bakers son was thrown into the raging waters of the Torrentine by his drunk father, you managed to chase him downstream and rescue him from the strong current.

It was not long before you discovered the sweetest temptation every man had to face, the attention of lovely girls. Your first foray into the world of romance was shared with a fisherman's younger sister, clasped hands and naive kisses, but Maester Ellery was quick to setting curfews and monitoring you when he noticed.

The bookish Valeman urged you to channel the extra energy you had into a more rewarding hobby. A willful and energetic boy of 9, you nevertheless were forced to heed his wishes.

What did you begin focusing your efforts on? (Pick 2)

>Ellery recognized your physical prowess and directed you to the Captain of the Guard, Ser Myles. The scarred war veteran was happy to train you in martial combat, and began training you with intense exercise and long sparring sessions. By age eleven you were his capable squire, and could even outmatch his younger guardsmen in duels. The stories you read of your ancestors motivated you to become a strong warrior they would be proud of

>Though you knew the basics of arithmetic, history and geography, Ellery convinced you to continue your studies. The links on his Maester chain were numerous, and he trained you in all he knew; medicine and how the body functions, economic skills and advanced mathematics, even a bit of courtly decorum and intrigue. Even at such a tender age you were better educated than most of your household

>Despite his best efforts, Ellery could not keep you from spending hours everyday with your friends. Games of tag became mock-battles, innocent romance gave way to more mature endeavors. There were few who did not crave your company. Among your peers you chose what activity to do or what was being talked about, but a few boys your age grew jealous of your popularity. Your willful nature led to numerous fights, a disappointed Maester Ellery wrapping broken hands and punishing you with chores. At least you had help from your friends while carting water from the Torrentine into the castle
>>

Alright should have expected that. Nerds get bashed

The years stretched by in quiet comfort as you grew into a very confident and adventurous teenager.

Ser Myles had begun to groom you as his squire during your mornings and afternoons, much to your increasing delight. A tall and broad-shouldered lad by thirteen, your arms and hands had accrued numerous cuts and scars from constant sparring. Dueling with a single opponent became almost instinctual, knowing how to size up your enemy and pressing their weakness with your brawn. You began to favor the greatsword for its heavy weight and offensive capability, an aggressive fighting mentality made you very tiring to defend against and outright impossible for less skilled opponents.

However, having extreme confidence in yourself leads to negligence in defending from attacks, openings in your guard the sole reason Ser Myles has never lost a bout to you. You've begun to clip your thick silver hair shorter after one too many times someone has grabbed a hold of it in a spar.

Along with continued sword practice, Ser Myles began to teach you the finer aspects of proper Dornish warfare. Your first forays into the land beyond High Hermitage were spent practicing horsemanship, how to recognize where dangerous snakes and scorpions were hidden among rocks and dunes as well as stationary archery. While you were decent at shooting less than twenty yards, targets from distances beyond that and moving targets were often left unscathed. You just couldn't maintain accuracy with the shortbow you trained with.

As you finish training each day drenched in sweat, bruised and battered, a brief cleanse wash in the Torrentine is followed by evenings of leisure and socializing. Sometime along the way you had discovered a swiped a bottle of Dornish Red from Ellery's secret stash, almost instantly falling in love with drink. Only after several sessions of blackout binge drinking and excruciating migraines did you learn to properly pace yourself.

It was inevitable that Ellery's prudish Andal attitude would fail to rub off on you. Among the Dornish it was common to have casual relationships with those you found attractive, a tradition you began to take advantage of. You were cautious enough to use birth-control methods; the thought of raising a bastard enough to make sure of that.

Over time you had become accustomed to how quiet and peaceful High Hermitage was, very few visitors other than merchants traveling from Starfall.

Which left you unprepared for the sudden arrival of Darkstar as he strode into the dining hall one evening, followed by the Maester and Ser Myles. They discussed amongst themselves briefly as you approached your brother, and upon seeing you he smiled broadly.

Turning to you suddenly, he calls out your name in greeting.

What is your name?

But forgot to give a space after each tag. Now it is showing all the tags as a single tag. Who do I contact to solve this?
