In short, they are pretty, somewhat clumsy and fun air-headed, harmless geniuses, but we have a problem now.

“...maritime engineering, with a master in Ocean engineering. You can think of it as relevant to off-shore structures, though that is its own field, really, but lots of astronauts also have the sam...” - she is really enthusiastic once she gets going, uh?

A few minutes ago, we called her out from our [Menagerie] into the docks, and while she was originally troubled by being 'our pet' now, as soon as she realized where she was (next to the ships), sje really went into it...

So, she was Nikita Androiev Goraya, amd she was on a natural gas offshore platform (aka oil rig) in the Kara Sea (nort of Siberia) when an unexpected storm hit the platform and she lost her life after being swept off the platform. Apparently she fainted while drowning, so she is thankful that she didn't get to experience all of it.

After waking up in a cavern high on a mountainside, she realized she was surrounded by naked women with horns and tails, and she was a baby. A group of nomadic centaur hunters caught her and she spent her youth as a work animal in the Brokenhalm region of the empire, working as a pack animal, which isn't as weird as it sounds when you learn centaurs really REALLY hate being compared to pack animals themselves.

She was quite happy to learn that despite their reputation in her previous world, they were absolutely uninterested in her (sexually), and even seemed completely unconcerned with her body, even as she grew up.

Eventually she started building some things like sleds and simple tools to make her life easier once she began learning to use her powers, and was eventually sold to the former minister as a useful work animal.

Of course she had learnt common by then, and was more than happy to be back into engineering work, plus things like armored vehicles, rocketry and the like were a interest of her, and the rest we know.

She says so while leaning over a floatstone beam to look at the engine past it. Her wings have been clipped off a few inches off her back, so she can't fly. She makes no mention of it while squeezing herself into the engine com,partment and twisting tyo the side so she can look at it.

“I really don't have more than a basic understanding of magic. My ship only used it as a power source, you know? Lñots of this is magical, the axis just helps provide actual torque for the fins amd p´ropeller, uh? And yet this much soot still manages to accumulate. I guess it burns the atmosphere around it?”

Her small bare feet have a surprisingly good grip on the ground. She seems used to using her long nails as claws. She's sinking them into the wood right now, keeping her body off the axis so her peach-shaped butt points towards us as she arcs her back,. The rest of her body out of sight.

Eh, this girl is really dangerous, we really couldn't let her on her own.

Like so, we make our way back to the palace while conversing.

“If there are magical traps, then there are triggers for those traps. Proximity, pressure, temperature, or even pseudo-awareness to determine when to activate. We have to be able to use that for missiles, rockets and why not ammo?” - she says
“That seems doable, sure let's work on that.”

As we arrive at our (Mako's) door and go in, we find Aritsu and the young empress herself having tea and cookies while sitting at the middle of the room and studying together... it's a really homely scene, isn't it? But its also rather cute and proper.

They looks cute in normal clothes. Yup, we count Aritsu's school uniform as her normal clothes. Definitively.

“Eldric, welcome.” - Makp happily stands up and walks over to give us a kiss while on her tiptoes, holding her hands together behind her.

Ah, so tasty, this kiss.

Let's hug and kiss her back.

“President, welcome back.” - says Aritsu from her spot next to her books.

Honestly, the whole "no nukes" stance is dumb. Nuclear technology leads into other technology, and thorium reactors are projected to be pretty clean and efficient. We need that kind of energy density when in an area with low to no mana.

Actually my best friend is a chemical engineer and completely loves nuclear tech. He's told me a lot about how thorium reacctors/tech suffered because the us government wanted nuclear weapons as their #1 priority so they ignored thorium in favor of plutonium.

Why can't we skip the nukes and go straight to safe and efficient reactors instead? I just said “no nukes” meaning weapons.

The elf princess stands up and smooths out her skirt, then walks over towards us and … we grab her and pull her over, making her give up a little gasp as we catch her by the waist with both hands and lift her up to where her feet are off the floor as we kiss her.

Oh, she complained a little bit, but looks quite happy as she wraps her arms around our neck and we kiss. She's really tasty and warm, and feels super nice against our body.

Holding Aritsu against us so she's squished against us, we kiss her for a good while, holding eachother's hands as we taste eachother's lips.

I don't know if I should react to the fact she knew Nikita was a Carmilla right away or not. The people in this world seem to have their point of view heavily influed by it, after all.

Mako stands straight next to us and introduces herself very politely as well.

This new keyboard is great, the keys are roughly in the same posts as in the old one so i feel that i will get used to it soon enough. Also, I think I really prefer writing on the word processor first then copying to the thread.

Ah, that's right, the harpies are already out, playing in the pool (actually a bath) in the next room, so for now lets start by calling out the more grown up pets, I think.

This is Miel, daughter of Miel.” - we call out Miel II and introduce her. She's wearing a rather short and light white summer dress with sphagetti straps and a large empty O in the back for her wings to poke through. She is hovering a inch off the floor by keeping her wings fluttering, which causes a strong but very focused wind right under her.

“Nice to meet you.” - says the honey-blonde faery as she holds her hands over her lap and lowers her head for a moment.
“Oh, nice to meet you. Ah, do we shake hands or what... I've only ever been on my own so... is there any etiquette between pets I should know about or...?” - asks Nikita
