Slice of life is by far the best part of this quest.
Even with your heavy streamlining of the dungeon crawling bits the mid dungeon banter suffered heavily as well and it's just not as fun, QMM.

Alice stops her stretching to give you a contemplative look. “Well we do have to help that Ivysaur we took a mission from in the Mist-erious Forest, we really shouldn’t blow them off for too long.”

Faye finished with her morning drink decides to chime in. “Perhaps we could check the mission board for any extra missions in the Mist-erious Forest as well. We could even grab some missions in another dungeon for later.” She pauses for a moment “As long as it does not require us to go back to Mudslide Swamp.”

“We should split up, I’ll go look at Kek and Leon’s wares while you two decide on some missions.” You give Faye a look and she nods. Hopefully she can keep Alice from picking a mission far above your capabilities.

“Sounds like a plan!” Alice then dashes off, Faye in tow. “Meet you at the front of the guild when we are done!”

Finally you are alone with your thoughts. Now where to go to first… Alice and Faye won’t take forever so you probably won’t have time to visit every place.

You remember what happened the last time you tried to get too close to him while he was ‘asleep’. Yeah you don’t trust this for a second. You give the desk a swift kick, only to immediately regret that as a sharp pain enters your toe. Paw? Whatever. You forgot the whole no shoes thing. Thankfully it doesn’t hurt enough to make do anything more than a quick intake of breath and it at least had the desired effect of getting Toxicroak’s attention.

He grumbles awake, whether from his annoyance at being woken or the fact he couldn’t spook you again. Regardless you now have his attention.

“So kid, what can I do for ya?” He grumbles out.

“I just wanted to check on the progress of the golden thorn being sold.”

Toxicroak brightens up a bit. “Ah yeah! Great news kid, I found a buyer for the thing, and it even got a good amount for it.”

“Should be a few days, but it will be worth it.” He contemplates for a second. “You might want to put some of the money into the guild’s vault when you get it. If you faint in a dungeon your probably gonna lose half that shiny stuff you just got, and this right here is not just a pretty penny. It’s going to be a lot of pretty pennies.”

“Thanks for your help.”

“I am obligated to ask, you gonna spare any of the cash you get to the guild? Like I said before this place ain’t doing so well so I won’t ask you to pour your money into nothing, but this much you’re getting, might keep the guild afloat for a while longer. You know, depending on how much you give.” He pauses for a moment. “IF you decide to give.”

You decide to go to guild master Drake’s room to find if the aura trainer is coming. Giving the door a knock you wait a moment before a loud grumbled “Come in.” before entering.

“Ahhh, Luka, good to see you. What do you need?” He seems somewhat tired, but it is still fairly early in the morning.

“Hey, I was just wondering if you heard back from that aura teacher you told me about.”

“Not yet child, but they tend to show up without any announcement anyway. They will come though, don’t you worry.”

“Ok, thanks again Guild Master.” You say before heading out.

You think you probably have enough time to do one more thing before Alice and Faye finish up. What should you do?
