Even with your arms moving fast enough to appear as eight, you're unable to land a blow on Android Number Twenty. Somehow, the old man fends off every punch you throw, avoids the odd kick you attempt in desperation, and just seems to outclass you in virtually every sense of the word.

Krillin rushes into the air to join your assault, using the power of the Kuma-Ken to attack Gero with everything he has. Even still, the deranged doctor is able to fight both of you off.

Krillin throws a punch at Gero's chest, but the madman vanishes into nothingness, only to reappear in the air above both of you, holding out his hands, one palm extended toward each of you.

Glowing orbs appear in his palms, quickly growing large enough to hide his hands from sight, and then fire in two powerful energy waves that streak down toward you.

Not about to be taken out that easily by such an obvious attack, you speed out of the way, moving with such great swiftness that it appears as if you vanished altogether.

When you stop, you look up to see Gero descending toward you, attempting to kick you into the ground. Having seen him coming, however, you move out of the way and spin kick him in the cheek, sending him hurtling toward Krillin, who slams his fists into the machine's skull, sending Gero crashing into the ground.

Gero climbs back to his feet, eyes moving between the two of you and a frown forming on his face.

"The Kuma-Ken is a formidable technique indeed," he remarks. "Together, and with its power, the two of you are dangerous foes. But with the energy I have absorbed, and the energy that you have lost, it is too late for you to stop me."

He lifts off the ground, slowly hovering into the air as he faces you and Krillin.

"Now, which one of you wants to die, first?"

Focus on one of Gero's arms, if we can at least get rid of or cripple one of them it would easier to deal with him. Since those things are basically anti ki, gotta get rid of the problem preventing us from using ki first.

"Guys, go help Goku and Kori!" you shout to your other friends still on the ground.

"It won't make any difference," Gero vows.

You take a defensive pose, waiting for Gero to make his move so that you can make a counterattack. Right now, taking out at least one of his arms seems to be the best course of action available to you. If you can manage that, Gero will be much easier to deal with. And, if by some miracle you can deprive him of both, you can blow him away or cut him to pieces with energy attacks.

Gero looks toward Krillin, and fires two beams of light from his eyes. As your friend moves out of the way, Gero comes at you, making a palm-strike at your face. While you manage to parry that, his free hand forms a fist and slams into your gut, causing you to hunch over in pain.

Clenching your teeth, you throw a punch at Gero's head, but he leans to the side, grabbing hold of your wrist and spinning around to throw you at Krillin, who has come charging to your aid.

You slam into your friend, and the two of you drop down from the sky, collapsing in a heap on top of one-another, with the old man hovering over you.

"It appears the moment has finally arrived," he tells you, crossing his arms as he slowly descends. "My long-awaited revenge has come at last."

"Father!" a voice calls from above.

Gero, looks over just in time to see a blue-haired boy dressed in your gi come charging in. He raises his arm to block as the young man does a flip and throws a kick at his face. While successful in blocking the attack, Gero is still pushed back through the air.

"Well, I was wondering when you would join us," the old man remarks, smirking at your son. "Welcome, Trunks."

"It's good to see you," you tell your son as you pick yourself off the ground.

"You too, dad," Trunks replies, glancing down at you.

"Gero!" you shout up at the doctor. "How did you know who he is?"

The old man looks down at you, laughing. "I told you that I had planned on following you and your friends to Namek, only for my surveillance drones to be destroyed before I had the chance. What I didn't mention is that I built more while you were away to continue observing you upon your return."

He grins down at you. "So, when Trunks arrived with his warning, I witnessed the entire thing. I heard his message, and adjusted myself and Nineteen accordingly in preparation for the greater level of power you and your friends were sure to develop. You may have been preparing for us, but we were preparing for you in turn. And unfortunately for you, I was the only one who knew what to expect."

He looks toward Trunks again. "So you see, boy, your warning accomplished nothing. The only difference is that now I get to eliminate an additional pest for another version of myself."

Trunks growls, his body becoming surrounded by a green aura as his power shoots up through the roof.

"No, you won't win," he promises. "Not this time!"

"Oh, I won't?" Gero questions, pointing in the direction of the others.

Your heart stops as you look and see Goku, Kori, Lazuli, Yamcha, Chi-Chi, and Chaozu lying on the ground, with Nineteen holding Goku by the throat. What's worse is that your friend has reverted to his normal form, and his energy seems close to vanishing altogether.

"Your stubborn refusal to accept defeat won't save you," Gero tells your son. "And it won't save any of them. Once again, you've failed."

"NO!" Trunks shouts, rushing forward to attack the old man.

Gero throws a punch, but Trunks uses the Afterimage to move behind him. Your boy goes to strike, but Gero throws back an elbow, catching him in the gut. As Trunks moves back, Gero turns, punching your son in the face with enough force to draw blood, and pushing him further away.

"Leave him alone!" you shout, exploding into the air with more speed than should be possible with the amount of energy you have left.

Gero glances down just in time to see the punch headed for his jaw, but not in enough time to stop it. His head is thrown back, and you rise to his level, proceeding to pummel away at him with the strongest punches and claw-strikes you can manage.

He can't even seem to raise a hand to resist. Instead, his body jerks with each blow, and grunts of pain come from his mouth as you furiously strike him again and again and again. The hat even falls from his head, clattering to the ground below.

Finally, you finish the assault with a double-palmed strike to his chest, pushing him back from you as you let yourself catch your breath.

As the old man lowers his head to look at you, your son frowns.

While you're certain that you caused Gero a reasonable amount of pain with that attack, you can't say how much damage you've done. Still, the old man isn't smirking anymore, so at least there's that.

His eyes widen as two new energy signatures appear. On your face, a smile appears as you realize Piccolo and Lapis have come to join the battle.

The two of you look toward Nineteen, who appears to have taken a surprise attack and been knocked away. Krilin has also gone over, and looks at the injured before helping Kori up, giving her Goku, and telling her to get him home and taken care of.

Nineteen gets up, preparing to give chase.

"NO!" Gero commands. "Deal with these first. We can hunt Goku down later."

Gero brings grabs hold of that hand's wrist with his free hand, but you give him a strong kick to the gut, and he relinquishes his grip.

Channeling energy into the hand still grabbing-onto him, you attempt to crush his wrist. Growling in a rage, Gero kicks you in the face, pushing you back and forcing you to release him.

In return, you rush forward and punch him in the face, pushing him back and putting distance between the two of you.

"What is this?" the old man asks. "You've lost far too much energy to be performing this well."

Gero looks between the two of you, then fires a pair of beams from his eyes at Trunks, who dives to avoid them. Taking advantage of your son's momentary distraction, the old man rushes toward you, firing another pair of beams your way as he charges.

Channeling energy into your right palm, you deflect the beams harmlessly into the air, blocking the punch that Gero throws a second later, and raising your leg to block a knee-strike. Maneuvering the arm you used to block and pushing Gero's attacking arm away, you create an opening to unleash a Bear Shout at the cyborg's face.

Gero shouts in pain as he's pushed back by the attack, right into Trunks, who slams his fists into the back of the old man's metal skull. Your son then presses his right palm against Gero's back, and fires a wave of energy that forcefully shoves your foe to the ground below with a great crash, kicking up a massive dust cloud.

I like Tofoo, when he started out he was just a good boy who thought fighting was fun and called every girl he met pretty. He has changed a lot since then. I think a good defining moment was deciding to train on our own instead of with Roshi not because we didn't like Roshi or think we didn't need his training but that we wanted to forge our own path. Then the finals of the first WMAT, not backing down against Chun even when he kept giving us more we didn't back down and even surprised him. It was good for Tofoo it showed how far he was willing to go to get stronger and prove he is the best.

I'd love to see that too, hopefully they give Freeza and Frost a decent amount of time to interact with each other, Plus I'd like to see the power difference between a trained base form Freeza and Frost without his poison bullshit. Golden form/ultimate evolution destroys but from the earlier 6 vs 7 tournament Frost was stronger since he was said to be stronger than piccolo, who at that point should have been way stronger than full power Frieza.

I mean, you can make that argument for piccolo I guess, even if it's in and of itself fucked up to base how evil someone is based simply on level of horrifying atrocities they committed. Sure Demon King Piccolo didn't destroy entire planets, but that's less to do with his character and more likely because he simply didn't know there were other planets, he's still personally responsible for killing millions because he's a being made of pure evil and enjoys it. Vegeta is a being that has personally caused the destruction of multiple worlds, since he was a child even. To be honest, if Freeza wasn't the big bad that destroyed planet vegeta, than they saiyans would have been the big bad of the universe with vegeta at the helm, they were already doing it before they met Freeza after all. Even Beerus sanctioned their destruction. And to be fair on the whole universal erasure thing, It's not like he's actually the one doing it, he's just ensuring his own survival. Sure you could argue just jumping ship and giving up your universe for another is evil, but if the same number of universes are going to be destroyed, along with everyone in it, anyway than what does it matter to you trying to keep a universe that you care nothing for to get destroyed as long as you survive? To be honest with you, I thought knocking off both your most hated enemy and the strongest fighter of one universe while joining the team of another was pretty damn smart, and that's coming from a guy that both hates Frieza and wonders why they brought him back for a fourth time.

Had an idea for something SoL, the gang is celebrating Goku's birthday and we go hunt down the 4 star ball as a gift for him with Trunks, any other balls we find we could spread around but I'd be up for keeping the ball that was used for Bulma's ring too.
