I could've dealt with blitzkrieg but specialist corps is shit since it can't make full use of the manpower of our empire.


You realise this changes our entire military strategy? That all my ideas weren't calibrated for this style of war? This eliminates so many different styles of combat and other tactics we could've used!

Model-T tank doctrine, superior firepower and so many other methods are impossible or far harder with a focus on quality.

Keep in mind the kobolds aren't going to say a word about their strategies, which are quite advanced for "Post WW2" tech, going to "Computer Era" shit.

So expect Kobold Doctrines to be very effective but also nearly impossible to learn unless you join it as an officer or get the legate mindcontrolled or some shit.

Also, keep in mind that Mass Infantry also helps your cities defenses as they get double the garrison. You can still vote for other things by the way anons.

I think we should get a list of the various disciplines of the various races. Because we all seem to be ignoring them and mass infantry is the only main option appealing to me right now

Keep in mind, to even know what a race's discpline is you require a few in the officer corp, and to actually use them you need them as a majority for a while.

Anyways, here's a quick history I was thinking about a bit for Germany.

1944: Hitler assassinated in Operation Valkyria. Helmuth James Graf von Moltke manages to negotiate an early peace with the Allies. Graf von Moltke sets into motion the foundation of a democratic Germany in the Second Versailies Treaty. As due to the "early peace" with Germany, Germany keeps most of the territory gained in the Second World War, but does lose a bit of land and is reduced greatly in manpower and industry. France is restored, and the territories of the Balkan lost. In a year's time, it is united under Serbia, with Albania and Romania the only other remaining Balkan state. Italy itself has the Pope step into power in a semi-religious coup.
Popular demand for a "second" Fuhrer leads to concessions. Germany is made into a elective monarchy by nobility by the Allies. Helmuth James Graf von Moltke feels betrayed by this, along with most of the German people.
Helmuth is forced to flee Germany after he was nearly assassinated by the remnants of the Nazi Party.

Soviet Russia is pushed back after the Germans consolidate to deal with them under leadership of Wilhelm II. Wilhelm II dies not too long after cementing his position by winning the war against Soviet Russia by capturing Stalingrad and encircles Moscow in a very bloody battle, and manages to luckily capture Stalin in his flight away.

His heir, Wolfgang, takes power. He declares annexation of Romania after it's soviet occupation. Not too long after, Austria declares rulership over Hungary after it's brief seperation, and under fear of a combined German-Austrian force, surrenders quickly and becomes a state under Austria, to this day.

A year after you come around, and Wolfgang was killed by poison at a mead hall. Germany is in the midst of somewhat severe public unrest and a great feeling of betrayal by the leaders of Germany due to the Second Versailes Treaty. But due to the great manpower, absolutely titanic industry manpower, and innovative nature, is firmly planted in the League of Nations.

This is a general history of Germany, which I felt lacking.

Werewolves and Half-Dragons prefer up-front charges.
Humans are the most 'tactically flexiable and prefer combined arms.
Dwarves and Yuan-Ti prefer defensive styles of combat and bombardment.
Minotaurs vary. They can be either for up-front charges or for the more educated, bombardment and combined arms.
Elves tend to favor guerrila warfare.

Also the Kobolds prefer armored warfare to encircle and destroy the enemy.
