New players are always welcome!

In this quest you assume the role of an aspiring student who is about to enter the Mageknight Academy. You must hone your skills, make some friends (and perhaps also some enemies) and fight battles in order to prove yourself worthy of graduating as a fully fledged Mageknight! Each year (every 100th turn) your character will be tested by the academy to see if your character is progressing well and meeting the Academy's high standards. After the 3rd year your character will head off into a their first mission for a final test.

How to Join:
New players must fill out their character sheets. The sheet must include the following information:
>Anyone can join at any time. Latecomers and laggers are given bonus action points to catch up with the other players.
1) Your character's full name
2) Your character's backstory, appearance and any other useful information.
3) You are given 3 Skill Points. Choose 1 starting spell and 2 other skills or spells.

How to Play:
1) Each turn you will be given 2 [Action Points]. Post your character sheet and your chosen actions along with a 2d100 roll.
>Normally your roll must pass the [Difficulty Challenge] of 25 in order to succeed.
>Getting a 10 and below is a [Critical Failure] while 91 and above is a [Critical Success]
2) All players must wait for the "TURN GO" post before submitting any actions posts. After which you must post your actions only to that post.
3) After all actions are processed and a new turn begins, update your character sheet

Acquiring and Improving Spells & Skills:
1) Study, research, explore, train or take classes to discover and learn new spells.
2) Training an already learned spell or skill will raise it further to the next tier once enough [Progress Points] are accumulated.
4) The progress threshold is based on the Fibonacci sequence (1,2,3,5,8,...)
>Usually Spell and Skill tiers are named as Basic => Intermediate => Advanced => Expert => Master
>Alternatively you can label the tiers as T1, T2, T3 and so on.

Spellcrafting:
Spellcrafting involves fusing spells with various skills, knowledge and even other spells that your character has learned together creating a new spell or skill.
>The name of the resulting new spell will be determined by the QM. By default it will be "Cast A B C..."
>Your dice roll will affect the result of the spellcrafting. Lower rolls will result in weaker or negative version of the intended spell and vice versa.

Social Interactions:
1) Role playing with other players is a free action. Role playing with NPCs, however, will cost an action point to do so.
2) Collaborative Player-to-Player actions like trading, tutoring and PvP, will cost an action point to do so.

Combat:
1) The battle starts with an initiative roll by each player. This tells the order of the actions of each player in the round. The initiative roll also resets every round and a new initiative roll will be needed every turn
2)The next phase is the attack, where the player with the highest initiative roll gets the chance to take an attack action. The player he attacks can also take a reaction and attempt to block, dodge or even counter attack with a spell or skill.
3)To land an attack, the attack roll must be higher than the defense roll. After landing a hit, The damage is calculated with relevant skills and traits.
4)This continues as everyone gets a chance to attack, resetting the round and eventually until a player gets downed.

"It's no trouble Sir Knight, it's what we're trained for." He took a second to consider the situation with the sleeping bag. While it was unlikely to have been overtly cursed, there was a bigger chance that something provided by an unknown in hostile territory could have more sinister and underlining effects. "I've only been here a few minutes Sir Hines, you were in the bag when I found you. An unidentified persons pointed me in your direction." Which meant he needed more time to look over the boy with better equipment, both of which he was in short supply of at the moment. "I'm heading to the outpost stationed in the woods. If you would like to occupancy me there I can get a better handle on your situation. Or you can return to the school and once I've finished at the outpost I can handle the rest of the examination there." Stories of Heroes can never really get too old. These larger than life figures inspire us all and shape our cultural awareness. In the Epilogue of the Battle for Grimwoods, the names of some Heros and their Deeds will become common talk among the Student Body. Yoyos full of Divine Light. The reckless riding of Monsters by a plumber. Fantastic Ice Barriers summoned with the flick of a wrist. Heavy Military Hardware gunning down enemies. Swordmen powerful enough to send shockwaves throughout the battle. Guerrilla warfare of the Fey themselves.

Around campus Students have heard a string of sentences repeating endlessly on radio channels. When asked for response the administration has stated the signals are old relay codes bouncing off the local mountain ranges. They believe that some of the older communication stations are still sending out relay requests to other stations that are no longer in service. A fine example of early long range telecommunication before the advert of the Internet if out dated and in need of repair. And to the assertion of ghosts signals, they direct the student body to the Holy Order or the local Necromancers for beyond life customer services.

And in other news, the Manzanares, the river that cuts through Madrid City, is the sight of a strange phenomenon. For a closer look we turn to our correspondent in the field. "Yes well from what we understand there's been an increase in police reports about a terrible dark figure around the River Banks and roasting atop the Bridge Structs. It is described as a tall man, with dark wings and red eyes. His appearance is often coupled with car radio speakers blasting static even if the speakers are turned off. Now the Hunter Organization has said that they are looking into these sightings, but so far nobody has been hurt or injured. So very unlikely that this will take their attention away from other serious matters. Back to you in the studio."

Closer to home, Beastfolk that had previously kept to themselves have been seen more frequently in the rural communities closest to their settlements. These civilized species seem to wish to distance themselves from the barbaric violence as presented by the Corrupted Deertaur.

Bringing you late breaking news from the Eastern Front, Greece has officially bent knee to the Russian Imperial Legion. This development comes after the Territoires continual failure to maintain their own treasury. The separate City States may continue to resist Russian occupation forces which may lead to a Civil War, however at this point is all speculation. Your investigation takes you to the library, where you ask Athena for information on who had borrowed books about Sanskrit Runecrafting. Her search directs you to five different people all spaced out between a few months, but your intuition tells you that these aren’t the people you’re looking for. Instead, you decide to look through the library yourself. As you expected, you find someone working on runes in public view of everyone. In Sanskrit, no less. It only takes a moment’s glance for you to figure out that he’s making more animation and nondetection tags. The Runcrafter himself looks… beady. Glasses, pale skin, skinny... He doesn’t seem like the type to go on clandestine operations, stalking one of the most dangerous women in the school. Perhaps he’s the one that supplies the actual stalker? How deep does this operation go? You spot a name tag on his bag: “L. Parker”. You’ll have to investigate him some more in the future, but for now, you keep a watchful eye on him. After making sure you aren’t being watched, you observe him some more. His Runecrafting technique is excellent, and you manage to learn something yourself.

Using the Description of Martha and the rough area of her whereabouts, Lawrence takes a walk around the streets. It takes the majority of the day but he does note a number of different people with the basic description none of them seem to be students, except one. The One in question is walking up and down the street with flyers in her hands and a clipboard on her hips. She seems to be asking for signatures.

Lawrence introduces himself as a fellow student of madrid mage academy and offers Martha help in gaining signatures. “The chapel Rita de Cascia is a very important site of local history. The chapel may be ugly and decrepit now, but one day it will be reborn. I’m sure of it” Over the course of getting signatures you two talk about the school and local events. She mentions she is studying to be an elementalist, “lightning and electricity. Something basic and utilitarian“ She seems to have the wide and steady strides of a young woman in control of her life and circumstances.

After accumulating pages and pages of signatures she turns to you “Look, um don’t be mad, you seem like a nice guy. And you’ve been really helpful, but if you’re trying to ask me out I already have a boyfriend. Sorry” As she collects the papers, Lawrence has one or two more minutes before she leaves

You go back and reread your text books and go over the formulas again. You note one or two different errors in your occult matrix. After fixing them, you manage to increase the effectiveness of your Suppress Magic spell. As it turns out, Suppress Magic and other forms of Anti-magic will much more easily interrupt magic when it is still coalescing, rather than when it’s already in motion. For example, stopping a mage as he casts Fireball is easy, but stopping a Fireball midflight may prove to be a bit more of a challenge.

After inspecting your borrowed Mana Battery for any form of defects or damage, you decide to go and fill it up. The Witching Hour is some distance away from your dormitory, and it will be dangerous with these blasted Raccoons around. You prepare for a quick and stealthy excursion. You need to gather the mana quickly and return to the dorms, all while staying undetected. It's a daring raid but you’re able to slip from the Raccoons notice just enough to find the spot and collect some mana. You head back home just as the sun begins to rise.

The City of Brass is a citadel of the Djinn. Typically called the Mad Myth of Dehydration, it is a realm not too far from our own, accessible through magic and conjuration and populated with strange and powerful creatures. Knowing the realm usually grants the holder of that knowledge a much needed boon when interacting with its inhabitants. One of the grand rules of the universe and magic in general is that: You're always pulling from somewhere.

According to Djinn legends, the city is the end result of the wishes of an ill-fated trio of mages, who asked a Djinn to build them a city according to their design. The djinn exerted the promise from them that they would reside within the city until their death, which they swore. As the mages had neither specified the location nor the material from which the city should be built, the Djinn created it in the middle of an inhospitable desert, designed out of various strands of copper and brass. When the mages tried to defy the agreement and leave the city, they found out that they were not able to leave their new home. After the last of the mages had died a natural death, the city was translated into the Invisible World, commemorated as a symbol of Djinn victory over humanity.

The City of Brass has the shape of a gigantic city with eight great streets made out of various shades of brass and copper and acted as an economic center between the Djinn pashas of the Invisible World and sorcerers who wanted to gain the Djinn’s aid without needlessly angering them by using the Solomonic Code to force them into servitude. As most djinn are excellent bargainers, liars and are blessed with long memories that remember if a mage has been disrespectful to a spirit friend of his, most mages avoided the City of Brass except in times of need.

Platina is happy to that you visited. Over tea and cookie cakes, you two chat over this and that “I’m so excited. Growing up I never considered myself a writer. I always thought it was egghead stuff. Platina leans forward in that way that only full fledged woman do. Allowing a most intimate view. Not particularly sure if she’s teasing you or showing off. “But really I can’t be talking about myself all day what are you interested in?”

As it just so happens the Oasis is getting a diplomatic envoy from the local Raccoon Gangsters. The Raccoons and Plant are talking about the water rights and complications of the pink mana source. As you ask about the masked man, the Raccoon Envoy perks up. He claims that his kind has also been in contact with a faceless man. Well faceless is the wrong word as no one has even seen his face. They claim their man wears a mask of some sort as well. They also tell the story of how the faceless slaughtered one of their own and dragged its body back to its lair. Turns out a number of his raccoon kind consider the faceless a monster to be hunted down, with wicket tales of blood magics and dark arts. “If this problem were, ‘taken care of’ we’d be more open to further trade deals with the Oasis. Regardless we consider the Oasis on friendly terms” Leaving behind two sacks of fertilizer the envoy makes off with water from the lake.

The elders consider “If true a trade deal with the raccoons could be very beneficial” The elders leaf through the bags “Good stuff here, not fey, a little fatty, but still not bad.”

You haven’t seen Belle in such a long time so catching up would be a good idea. You meet up with her and you learn about how she’s focusing on studies. Back to the conversation, you both trade some stories about what’s happening the past month. You learn more about her and find out that she’s been seeing Platina sometimes too. She had her make some electric weapon recently which would help her with her electric attacks. You can tell she’s forcing it and saying that they’ve been getting along but you know that they might still have some problems. At one point along the conversation, shockingly she throws a pick up line. Something about you being electric and having a spark with each other and the second she says it, you look to her and she covers her face instantly. “No.. I’m joking. That was embarrassing… but it wasn’t really a joke. W-we do connect... it depends on you.” She stammers as her face gets redder and redder. She’s been busy with studies but she hasn’t changed much being still so cute and shy that way.

You receive a message in your backpack stating that "THERE IS NO NINJA CLUB." However the talent to plant a letter in your backpack while you're still wearing it might state otherwise.

One letter that you receive from a club you hadn't heard much from, the Journalism Club. The header printed on the letter appears to be a pair of glasses and a cap. The content itself is interesting in its wording. "Want to be a SuperHero? Feel driven to write wrongs, and bring evil to the light of awareness. Join the Journalism Club." It seems as if you wrote an application and received the acceptance letter without you totally being aware of what you were doing. Do you dare take them up on this challenge? It’s not quite as romantic as the sunshine picnet but you do take her out to the fairgrounds and ride the roller coaster, bumper cars, and the ferris wheel where you do get the neckie neckie hickey. You even win her a stuffed Tiger at the shooting gallery. There is laughter music and cotton candy. Danielle tells you about a few of the other suitors she’s had at the school, but none of them as brave and daring, or merrily foolhardy and lucky as yourself. It’s refreshing. Most of these students she tells you avoid danger or risky situations. “It’s just not a turn on. But you” her eyes spark and flickering in a knowing gaze

Later that night as you two are walking home, she takes you back to an old stone fire pit with some logs in the middle. Danielle directs you to sit on the edge and gives a very simple instruction “Look don’t touch” The blonde girl steps into the fie pit with the logs at her feet. Her hands do a smooth up her hips and waist as her butt and chest move to music hold you two can her and with and with a small flick “Flame ON” The Pit is engulfed in Fire. Blonde hair stands on extreme ends and the flames lick but never consume her curses. Her clothes burn to ashe in front of you and nothing is left to the imagination. The blonde surrenders to the dance of the flames, flickering and twirling to the crackling of the fire

Later you walk her back to her dorm in your oversized coat. Neither of you regretting anything

He believes that a rogue air element is screwing with the heating and cooling in the school auditorium. Carlos gets you into the vents and tells you make a complete circuit which should flush out the spirit. After two lefts you feel the mighty blast of winter on your nose. Figuring this must be the rogue element you gallantly push forward. Fighting perpetual frostbite with your every face! After ten minutes of this arctic blast you spill out onto the floor again with Carlos holding a stuffed vacuum cleaner and thumbs up.

You come across William of the MagiTech club again. He seems the most good natured of the bunch, or at least the one most willing to greet newcomers. He's more than willing to give you a hand, possibly to cram another pun into the conversation. Reinforcement, as far as William has figured out, comes from understanding the materials you're working with and identifying those properties to strengthen. He shows you a few different armors he's tampered with using Reinforcement. In the case of Armor, he simply increased the Resistance to damage, wear, tear, penetration. In some cases resistance to Heat, Electric Shock, or specific magical resonance was preferable. In some cases it's preferable to design a system with resistant and conductive materials such as the Mana Semiconductors which allow more complex systems to be created.

The theoretical primer out of the way, William gives a practical demonstration. He takes a small ring from out of his pocket and holds it clamped tight in his hand. He takes his fist and whispers into his knuckles, at which point you see a small glow of Dull Grey bordering on Pale Blue radiates around his hand. And then in an instant, he casts the ring into the blacksmith's forge. You can feel the Red Hot Coals even standing a few feet away. He waits a few moments, shooting the shite with an until he takes a pair of heavy duty tongs and picks the small ring out of the flames and dropping it into his open palm. "It's not even warm, here." He offers the ring, and it is indeed still cold to the touch. William explains he placed a small charm on the ring to be resistant to the forge's flames. This kind of Alteration of Integrity is pretty basic. Some students that prefer the flashiness of fireballs, often overlook the applications of magically altered metals.

The exchange is very quick, and the backlash is also just as quick and volatile. The Magical Beast Tamer, listens to your query, his one eyebrow slightly raised, you aren't sure in in query or surprise. After confirming your identity, the [D-Rex Horn] is confiscated from your possession. It seems that the Tamer may suspect you've poached the antler from another Beast. The substances that this sample would break down into are classed as controlled substances for their rather potent effects. The antler is handed over to your Probation officer, after being wrapped up and bagged, and you're told you may pick your sample up after the Probation period has been lifted, which unfortunately has been extended a small bit due to this new complication.

Red continues to rest as you continue to read the book. The first thing to do with a strange phenomenon is to accurately define it. When people talk about Spirits they are often referring to the residual remains of the recently dead, or the malevolent influences meaning a household or family, or in the religious sense the extended influence of the Divine on the world in mysterious ways. This book attempts to lay out a comprehensive understanding of the Spirits of the Primal Wilds. These are Spirits that manifest from natural phenomenon just as water from the rivers, the trees of the forest, or the blowing wind of a storm. Short lived phenomenon such as Fire or Lightning can also manifest in the Primal Wilds using the same spiritual processes.

The Primal Wilds can be understood as the spiritual layer of the world separated by a barrier that is weaker in some places and stronger in others. In rural areas in the Barrier is much thinner allowing spirits to exert influence on its surroundings. Spirits of the Primal Wilds are animalistic in nature and motivation. They seek to exist and grow stronger hunting smaller spirits while avoiding the larger spirits in a complicated Ecology or Cycle of Life. At the lowest level of the food chain are spirits that feed off of spiritual essences. Natural phenomenon such as a river simply by existing in the physical world will manifest in the Primal Wilds and spawn its own spiritual essence carrying its own aspect. Spirits are feed off this essence become Water or River Spirits.

The more nuance section of the book details how spirits may evolve or change based on the smaller spirits it hunts and the essence it feeds off of. A Bear Spirit, that exists because animals are natural phenomenon as much as the river is, hunts and feeds off the Salmon Spirits and the River Essence. As it continues to be successful gathering essence like this it may become a Water Bear Spirit. That isn't to say that the Spirit of the River couldn't turn the tables and devour the Bear. That can totally happen and horrifying to witness. There are recorded incidents where the merging of two elements were much less violent. The two Aspects in question just blend too perfectly together in harmony, either forming a cooperative relationship or merging together.

When trying to foster or grow a Spirit you must first determine what kind of Spirit you are dealing with. That information will inform you how what it eats and what its motivations are. The Mistake that most novices make is to blindly gift the spirit of your own Mana pool. This can be an effective bribe in the short term, it's like a plain vanilla ice cream. They will gladly take it, but it is not their prefered diet. They wish for more of their aspect around them. They wish to express their aspect as well. For example, a Spirit of Fire is often a short lived spirit because that aspect isn't seen as destructive and quickly stamped out by anybody wishing to keep their home in tact. Or it's kept on a short restrictive diet feeding off of the spiritual essence of candles or lanterns.

Should you wish to catch the attention of a Fire Spirit a bonfire is a good start. The Spirit will be attracted to the scene in the Primal Wilds and feed from the trough you've provided. The longer that fire exists and the bigger that fire is, the more powerful that Spirit may become. Making a bargain with that or promising regular feedings of a bonfire in its benefit, may quickly grant you the ability to call upon that Spirit when you need it. The most powerful and ancient Fire Spirits are said to come from Wild Fires that decimated the forest and wildlands. They exist in the Primal Wilds, but sleeping until one day there is another Forest Fire when they can feed and feed in the short lived feast. For another example, an Ice Spirit may be bribed with the promise of regular cold showers, even ice cold baths, so that it may lend its ability to chill or freeze things.

The next chapter of the book is titled, "Spirits of the City: The Urban Jungle." However you check the clock on the wall and it seems to be an extremely late hour. That section of the book will have to wait until next time.

The decision to use your recent misfortune as the inspiration for a new spell is commendable. Can't let yourself be set back too much in your training. You set in the middle of the elements. You make yourself a conduit for that power, passively collecting and actively drawing on the ambient Solar Mana you've learned to harvest. The sounds of birds chirping while roasting on the Chapel's Rooftop grow fainter and fainter as the energy around you create small heatwaves distorting the air around you.

Invoking, using the Name of the Angel Zerachiel, you feel the skin on your arms flash an incredibly painful burn. Like the worst sunburn you've ever felt. And yet you still continue, you make a mental note to yourself that Lion's Shield would be incredibly useful when tampering with solar power. Already in the thick of it you continue crafting your own personal Solar Flare. You have the energy. You have the power. You have the Divinely Driven Purpose and unleash the Solar Mana into the air around you. The Sound is deafening, the Light is blinding. The Chapel courtyard is covered in a Blinding Light that lasts for only moments, but stings your eyes and leaves you struggling to see past the after images.

You have a strange dream, wherein you just kept running and running from this strange spector. With its long and wet tongue it would lick you. Totally gross and disgusting, obviously this had to be some kind of dream, no a nightmare. You pump those crazy legs at least a hundred RPMs and eventually jump onto a wolf of all things. But your pursuer jumps on a wolf of its own. Towards the end everything sort of crashes into each other and you wake up screaming, and with a camera in your hands. Taking a look at the pictures at a later date, a dozen pictures of your bedroom roof are on the camera, weird. Hopping out of bed, you have no time to think about dreams, time to jog with Danielle.

Since the events of the Spellcrafting, your arms are wrapped up in bandages soaked in pain relieving ointments. You've taken the time to perfume them with vanilla but perceptive individuals may notice the sterile smell of disinfectant.

Gathering your thoughts, you remember the details of the note you had a peak at, the note had a pretty rough writing and thick. The handwriting felt it came from a man or at the least someone who didn’t really care about their penmanship. The note also mentioned something about Isabel screwing up. It never went into detail but tells her to pay. Did the writer mean physical or did he mean something of a dept. Ah, this is not the best place to start. Another good detail was the meeting point which was some grounds in the Earth Elemental Settlements. That is your best lead. Asking Earth Elementals of humans might help. Checking the place could help you too. You do remember that the meeting time would be next weekend, After 2 turn . You decide to check the area and investigate but the earth elementals stomp all around the area, and you can’t really find the meet-up grounds.. It looks like there is a celebration of some sort. Now might not be the best time

Arriving at the student council office, you come to learn that Tenia is just finishing up. She is just finishing a few reports. There isn't really much you can do so you just decide to stay with her till she goes back to the condo. It takes a few hours, as she continues to do the work, her attention ends up shifting towards you making small talk and attempting to cuddle with you (and even hinting something more given by how she
giggles).

Finally finishing the paperwork, the sun is falling and you walk to the condo. The walk was peaceful with the world tinted orange and Tenia on you shoulder but arriving at the condo was different. Something doesn’t feel right. You unlock the door and what you find is man and a woman standing in your living room. Tenia seeing them, runs up and hugs them. It doesn’t take you long for you to tell that these are her parents. You look closer and see the father is a sturdy tall guy wearing a suit. The mother is quite similar to Tenia being the same height and similarly clings to the father like she clings to you. After a few seconds, She introduces you to them. You shake the father's hand and feel the firm grip. The parents tell Tenia how worried and how she actually hasn’t been picking up and really needs to come back to the house. Tenia asks you nicely with a smile for you to bring her bag to the room. You do so and leave them to talk and from your room, you can't help it but hear what they are talking about. It goes about about dangers and convincing her to go back. Tenia obviously complains and say that Ean is his soulmate and leaving him would be terrible (not because of Isabel or anything.) The argument eventually leads up the decision for them to stay in the condo.

For whatever reason it’s much easier to track people down. You ask around the professors and other students walking about. They guessed they’ve seen him around, but he’s also been sprinting and running from place to place, like blur or something. Odd one that guy. From other rumors you suspect he’s being stalked by a lover of some kind. Asking officials they claim he’s been in housing this whole time.

As you walk back to the start of your original investigation his dorm flat. You try to piece together what has changed? Grimwoods? Is the big one on your mind. There’s been a disturbance in the clinic lately. Starting back at the housing you note three squirrels right in the position you noted those three girls from last time. Watching. You also note the particular smell of blood and decay. It’s feeling a lot like the war field from the grimwood outpost. Something is rotten here. There is a red handprint on the door, and the knot is slick in gore…

With your knowledge of fire, you decide to create something you thought you saw from Valerie before. You attempt to hold fire. You give yourself time to practice and find that it's easier than you think. Breathing fire actually works quite similiar to this. You create fire and hold it in your hands. You try combining it with your already fire resistant scales and its difficult to hold at first but you get the hang of it. The fire stays and even goes with the pattern of your scales which is a pretty good aesthetic. You continue training and you get both your arms burning.

In your haste to train your living armor you misjudge a few things. First you forget to sprinkle the Fertilizer correctly letting it go to waste. As you’re moving the joints the wrappings of vine actually start to split; before disaster happens you’re able to ease the armor back into shape. Working with plants is almost nothing like working with humans.

Upon visiting the moonlight plant, you see that the moonlight plant’s roots are grasping the boulder now. There are a few stray roots but you take advantage of this to climb the growing tree. The tree is growing pretty fast mostly with hunson speculating there might even be fruit coming out. Once you do climb the tree, you feel more connected and even feel like the tree hugs you. You stay for awhile, maybe talk to it and eventually fall asleep.

The next morning, you wake up covered with the leaves which acted as a blanket for you. As you decide to move, the tree moves with you. It bends its trunk and moves you down gently. And as she let go of you, you suddenly felt uncomfortable and disconnected. You try to touch the plant again to gain back that feeling but you feel nothing. Everythings changed and whenever you apprach the plant, you feel some kind of aura with it. DId you do this? You don’t know what it is but maybe it's something to look into in the future. You do note that the plant is actually starting to bear fruit. The branches look like its growing some but its really too small to tell. Maybe it will come in a week or two.

Training the sword regularly is important, keeping the skills clean and strong from rust. We must not get tired of swinging the sword and learning new things, so you decide to set a few hours of the day training the sword. You read somewhere that there are different sword techniques and different swords for each which could help improve. You head to the Hema Club which has some open weapons that you could temporarily borrow and you try some other swords for experience. There was the great sword which was a heavy 2 handed sword and mostly used with strength and momentum to swing around. There was the long sword which was around 45 inches and has a long reach which gives it strong slicing and thrusting power. Another popular sword was the Scimitar which had a curved blade used to cut more deeply when striking a target. The curved area was really great for giving wide cuts in the body and sometimes this even was used by an executioner for beheading. After trying some of these weapons, you learned some good ways to use a sword.

You try to read some more but your mind wanders. Maybe training swords and the situation with dorothy has exhausted you quite a bit.

Being cautious, Caiden has the learned the need for safety after losing too many limbs to botched spacial experiments and studies, He seeks to find a neutral resonance lab. Away from the school. The school's resonance being high erratic and even just unreliable in its best of times. Just this morning a student busted the solar equilibrium in the Holy Order Church. No he will not do his studies in the thunderstorm of rampant chaotic and torrent mana usage.

To the north of Madrid proper he crosses into Fuencarral El Pardo Barrio. Loose understanding of the language yields that it means Wine Carrying Event grounds. Ridiculous. But the history of the land depicts it as first a royal hunting grounds and then a Protected bird sanctuary. A history of natural undeveloped land has few interfering resonances, making an ideal area to study. And with a few quick stunts of Divine Path. The spell finds an abandoned Military away station. Where once a tower stood all that is left are the stones stuck in the ground none of the locals repurposed into other fortifications. They are a clean slate for Caiden to set up his wards and as a staging area for his work

Taking each Sigil and Rune separately, Caiden devotes an entire poster board to recreating each one. Under each board he writes a case report about them with details and particulars about each one. Loaded with a wealth of knowledge that previous Researchers and Intellectuals have killed and waged wars for he catalogs the meaning and their relations. The history of each symbol is laid before you. The blood that has been spilled for each rune is staggering. The recent Grimwoods battle being merely the footnote of the footnote of this history. Some of them are persian and others african, and still other are eastern traditions and hinde. And of course Norse, arabic symbols, and some old english phrases and words you can almost workout on your own. These seems to be of pagan and wiccan origin. A few are even of native american with heavy influences from Russian contributors. Aztec appears not far behind these symbols

These sigils seem to be apart of a world wide transfer with a number of native signal stations, and another not stationed on Terra Firma or at least that's what can be inferred from its relationship with the others.

With the geode in the center, he finishes with the makeshift layout with the Pathway Sigil. Then the mageknight empowers his runes. It roars Red HOT. As the Sigil spins around the room, and dials a rotary phone that only exists in the metaphysical planes. The notes become twirling cyclonal papers. Over his heads Thunder and Lightening Strikes Over and Over again. The energies around him and the air above becomes Plasma as both states of energy and material play against each other.

Within the fluxed energies Caiden can barely glimpse, Lines and lines of metal and ruined cushioned furnishings. Blackness and the Pathway Sigil. Almost if only he could reach that place.

And Then Darkness.

Caiden has learned. If he can stabilize the local area, reenforce the runes. and empower the spell structure. He'd have a working gateway somewhere.

You decide that the best way to train in your ModGun, is to head to the Firing Range. Here you find herd of freshmen undergoing basic weapon training. They are cleaning and disassembling their guns. Even tho you already know some of this you decide to join in. In the process of taking apart and reassembling your own gun, you start to notice some small details that you would have otherwise not noticed like small nooks and crannies, some things that doesn't quite fit like they should, and some other little things. So you start taking notes start doodling about on how to improve your own gun.

After the class, you are still in the Firing Range classroom. You didn't noticed at first but the tutor giving the lesson was Carol. She has been watching you work, she mentions something about “watching an artist do a masterpiece”, but you are still thinking in numbers, measurements and how to fit a square peg in a round hole. Carol sighs and decides to take you to the Armory, and show your around the different kinds of guns they have. She goes around showing you the different guns, disassembling them and reassembling them in front of you as you take notes. She seems genuinely happy to help you.

After stashing away all the guns, she tells you about your dorm/workshop from Amsterdam and how she and the rest of the team managed to cram everything carefully in a small truck. She laughs a bit as she tells the story and recommends you a book from the Library called [Basics of ModGuns]. You thank her and she hugs you. “I really missed you back in Amsterdam.”

Ah. So that's what the feeling of being dumped in a pool of ice water felt like. Hearing the report of Remi being trapped and surrounded by the enemy was like a frozen hand squeezing his heart.

"Control yourself Markus. Panicking means people die in our line of work. Reel it in and finish the job." Unbidden his Master's words echoed in his head, and he found his resolve once again.

You go out on a night on the town, eating at a restaurant that serves Italian food. Eliza orders a private booth once more, and you enjoy your dinner before giving her your report.

“Sealed Chamber.” Eliza says. You guess that it’s time to give her your report. You detail the Spell Tag you found, the Sanskrit, and the Rune Type. Afterwards, you talk about L. Parker. After you give her your information, she looks deep in thought. “Hm. An animation tag. Which means that whoever’s got it out for me is probably using golems, homunculi, or simulacra.” Eliza notes. “And it looks like this L. Parker is their supplier.” The girl then nods. “Continue your investigation. Find out to whom and where Parker is sending these tags out to.” Eliza leans back, enjoying a moment of weakness before returning to her normal demeanor. “Let’s have a great night, alright?” You then spend the night with Eliza, just eating and making small talk. To anyone nearby, this would seem like the typical lovestruck couple, but you know better. You walk her to her dorm, and once again, she kisses you on the cheek and retires for the night. You’re certain that Eliza appreciated the report, but you think that she didn’t quite enjoy. Perhaps she’s a lot more tired than you thought?

Some call them artificial spirits, but they operate based on the same phenomenon observed by traditional nature spirits. These children of plastic, metal, and glass are still spirits and hunt for spiritual essence in the Urban Jungle. An interesting point to note is that the barrier between the Primal Wilds in Urban areas is stronger than the countryside. The diversity of spirits as well as the strength of the barrier create a complex Spiritual Hierarchy and Ecology, but not much influence on the physical world without intervening circumstances. Magicians that understand the process in which the spirit of nature can be coaxed into existence or to influence the physical world may perform the same practices in a city.

For example, a Toaster is a simple machine with heating coils powered by electricity to bake slices of bread. It stands to reason that the Spirit of the Toaster would want nothing more than for its physical self to be used. It wants to Toast bread. It wants you to make toast with it. The more often you use that Toaster the stronger presence is created in the Primal Wilds. This is the slow process of Awakening the Spirit. A mage understanding the principals can simply cast a spell to accelerate the process. Once the spirit is awaken, the magican can commune with that spirit and bargain with it. Such as a optimal and perfectly toasted bread every single time. In exchange, the magician may promise to always keep it plugged into the wall and to make sure every meal he has includes that toasted bread.

Talking more about the Predation of Spirits in the Urban Jungle context, much like the Primal Wilds of the rural countryside the Spirits of the City hunt for spiritual essence and each other. Car Spirits are the stampeding herd animals of the streetways becoming a river of chrome and metal during rush hour. As predators they will crash into or run over lesser spirits for sustenance. Spirits of supermarket may lure money spirits into their waiting mauls with bright advertisements and discounts. However it is not uncommon to see spirits, urban or rural, arranging themselves in a hierarchical society.

Once powerful enough and evolved enough into individual beings, spirits enter into a complex society, known as the Spiritual Hierarchy, as members and not simply resources to be hunted for sustenance. Spirits seem to intuitively understand their standing in this society extracting tithes for their lesser while paying fealty and essence to their superiors. A Spirit of Glass may passively take in essence from a glass shop, but have to give a piece of its harvest to the Shopping Mall Spirit least the larger spirit simply unleash the chrome and metal river into its storefront.

You walk to the cafe, flanked by your two companions, and explain your plan. They agree to stay behind, while you meet the kidnapper. You scan through the patrons sitting at the tables. That’s when you see him. A tanned man, wearing a business casual outfit, a beret, and the smuggest grin you’ve ever seen. He locks eyes with you, and immediately, you know he is the man you’re looking for. Nervous, you walk up to him, and sit in front of him. “So, brat, you got what I asked ? I sure hope so.” His tone is relaxed, but you can feel that he’s threatening you. You put the naginata on the table, and he observes it, whistling. “Man, the old Oro knew his shit. It’s beautiful.”

Suddenly, he gives you a nod, and you see a henchman, and Dorothy, with tears in her eyes. “Here’s my part of the bargain. Let it be known that I’m a man of my word. Pleasure doin’ business with you, kid.” Dorothy is released by the henchman, and walks up to you, trying to look casual, and failing. Wasting no time, you stuff her unceremoniously in your pocket dimension. The mysterious man raises an eyebrow when you do that. “Uh, kid, you do know there’s usually no oxygen in those ? I mean, I know you Boros are into some freaky shit, but isn’t there safer ways to do erotic asphyxiation ?”

You ignore the baseless lies about your proud family, and turn your back to the man, holding back a grin. He didn’t notice a thing. That’s when his voice rings out behind you. “So kid… Are you fucking with me ?” You hear the sound of wood being crushed, and turn back. The weapon then disappears, in something similar to your own pocket locker. The man continues. “You know what, kid ? I kinda like that. You want to have your cake and eat it too. I was like you once. So I give you a deal. Fight me one on one. If you manage to win, I’ll give you the naginata, no strings attached. How ‘bout that, kid ?” The mysterious man awaits your answer. Around you, the patrons of the cafe are running away, frightened by the attack of the man.

You crack open the book and quickly learn that there are no angels, at least not by the lofty definitions that the author would give them and by the evidence which he presents. Instead the book begins with the Writer as he calls himself cowering inside a hotel room bewildered by a bizarre conversation. He, the Writer as he painfully injects, has booked the room for three days waiting seemingly starved to have an answer. He pulls the blackout curtains to keep the dawning sun off his face, the stubble becoming more noticeable with each passing day. He pours himself another glass of brown liquor from the glass. The phone rings as he chokes down the pisspoor alcohol. The Static over the phone is complete nonsense and yet to his feverish ears a string of words spills forth which he notes on a legal pad as quickly as they come over the line. The call ends as abruptly as it begins. And the Writer sits the legal pad by his bed and rests his irritated, bloodshot eyes.

The Writer's identity is never confirmed. The author produces several different theories on just who the Writer may be. The delusional schizophrenic confusing the voices they perceive in their head as messages from a divine source, the departed Thomas Greenman. The Huckster selling access to the contents of the legal pad they drummed up after a week long bender, Herbert Henderson. Or even a living saint that still walks among us as Cambria Silverman. The origin of the document called "The Prophecies of Room 21" is perhaps less interesting than its content. In that document, if you believe are a long list of predicted tragedies to happen within the century. The document allegedly predicted the assassination of the German Chancellor which resulted in the fracturing of the German State into several dozen municipalities. That allegation is hard to prove since nobody has seen the document since it was lost. Some say stolen by thieves or a larger government to gain an edge in international politics. Holding such a document would surely mean holding the next century in your hands.

Wild speculation for sure. But the author attempts to devote each wild theory enough time to convince you that there may be some hidden kernel of truth to the idea. Now considering the origin of the document, there are some points which are concrete. The Prophecies first showed up within the possession of a couple in the United Kingdom after an encounter with a large Red-Eyed creature. The couple was just so happening to visit a 13th century chapel when this giant shadow swooped down to crash into the hood of their car and just as quickly pounced away into the sky. The 100 pages of well worn legal pad papers were discovered stapled together stuck on their windshield wipers. Over the next months to a year in time, the couple leaked into internet forums what they had discovered and their own story. It's from these interest postings, that have since been taken down, that most timely information about the document is gained. As well as a primary resource that the author uses from this book.

The rest of the chapters according to the table of contents details the documents ties to different supernatural phenomenon and magical conspiracies. Of course having contact with otherworldly creatures is not unknown. The nature of this being could be an devious spirit that gains more power as people speculate about its existence. The Writer could have been contact with an actual angelic or infernal being. However excluding the idea the couple unwittingly revealed national secrets as divined by government agents and were thus eliminated. Rereading the fate of the couple, you learn they suffered a fatal car crash. The document was never recovered from their possession. All this wild speculation is neat, but you decide to flip through the pages until you find a description of the Being you met on the Chapel rooftop.

You find the description of the creature you encountered on the Chapel rooftop in one of the later chapters. A large winged figure with red eyes. This thing is called a mothman. Sightings of this mothman often precede tragedies. For example, before the collapse of the Silver Bridge there were dozen of sightings of these creatures as reported to the local authorities. Along with the sightings were encounters were witnesses reported being told about the collapse of the Bridge days before it happened, including their involvement in the events. One woman was told she and her car would be taken under the waters. She was in fact at the sight of the tragedy and was recused from the waters after being under for ten minutes. Her husband however did not surface until nearly a week afterwards.

The check comes and goes, but Stephan doesn't make any move to leave quite yet. "I would say that the only regret I personally had with the whole affair was that I was unable to work with you, or over you as I was the head of the Action Group. I believe we would have made an effective team. However you were able to pull the support of the Marching Band and marched to victory with your own power and allies. Shame really, I would have loved to witness the battle first hand. Perhaps next time, we will work much closer together."

He gives you one last question before you both part ways, "Should I have an issue I can't resolve on my own, would you be interested in working with me? I promise it would be worth your time." He extends his hand, but not in anticipation of a handshake, more like to actually hold your own in a civil and gentle manner, a moment of familiarity in his otherwise cool and aloof demeanor.

Joe lights the logs and the candles around his room
From the top of the tree a raccoon falls to the ground on fire and flames at Felipe’s feet. In his age he has grow less patient with the ires of the world. His hands feel the flicker of sparking nerves. Arthritis. His medication close at hand, he gulps down two tart tablets. Out on the windy moors, he looks out towards the port where his new trade company is stationed. From Pacific to the Atlantic, Felipe has only run from one problem to the next. He’s lost fortunes, he’s lost friends, and he’s lost titles.

He has very few precious things, his young wife, his kid, and the small shipping boat. He hates the water. He has the means and the luxuries to hire a man to collect and split firewood for him. But he does it himself every part of building a fire is his life and flow. As he walks back he notes the flowers pink and yellows. His wife’s garden is lovely. Linda is a doll. Bright sunny and too good for him. His shoulder ache as he does the work of a younger man. Walking and having his mule pull the wagon. He remember back to that arctic cold day. Death so close and himself so full of the spark of life. And Now “HA” life flows around him, and he feels his joints creaking

Heading into the mansion he notes wide wings and the low moaning from deeper in. His feet take him across the the wooden floors. Past a boy of 5 years old playing with a ball and a dog. The dog heavily reminds him of his old mutt. He loved that dog. He pets the dog's head and he passes the hall. And lets them continue playing their game. The source of the moaning is still deeper in. In his own master bedroom.

Throwing the doors open he see Linda striding the waist of a much younger man. Her voice box betraying nothing. Many screams and shouts are heard immediately after being found, but most of them a slurs or insults.

With the parents staying in the condo, they put up a bed in the living room and stay there. You don’t see the the father at times but you see him come and goes at unusual times. You catch him every now and then but he usually ignores you or is probably too busy to take notice. Mother in the other hand, usually stays home sometimes cooking and goes around with Tenia. Her relationship with Tenia is pretty close and you see Tenia get squeezed most of the time. She has talked to you but it usually was small talk. There felt a bit of hostility in the air but it isn’t comparable like to what Tenia’s father radiates at you. With the current situation, you get an idea and decide on a family dinner.

You think to go out with the family and the best place for a family would be… a family restaurant. Tenia and Isabel agree and they plan an outing to a nice place close to the condo. Isabel seems oddly happy and excited to help with this. Nothing too out of the usual but she is putting a lot more attention on you and Tenia recently. You all plan the outing with family into a place called ‘Alconada’. It is a pretty expensive restaurant, even having rating of 4.2 stars! Being pricey, the girls agreed they would chip in for the bill. After making plans and deciding with the girls, Tenia goes and invites Mother and Father to come. It only takes a walk and on the way, Tenia has her arm wrapped around her and her mother holds her other arm. Tenia’s Father is walking ahead talking on the phone looking pretty worried. Isabel on the other hand can’t go.. She calls and says she has some business to deal with. She sounds quite disappointed but happily tells you after that now you owe her a dinner. You feel at that moment, she winked but you couldn’t be sure while talking on the phone.

You converse with Tenia and her mother and Tenia does a good job keeping both you and mother in touch. You do learn her name is Ana. She was a housewife till recently and now helps his beloved husband which she refers to as ‘Teddy’. You do learn they traveled to europe often before but spent most of their time in Canada and sometimes moving through cities. They aren't american but did more business there.

Once you arrive in Alconada, You sit down and Alania sits and clings to father, He doesn't really mind and just takes the menu. Must be a regular thing for him. Once you all get orders. Everyone starts talking. You, as the unknown, are the start of the conversations .Her parents hammer away on you with questions. You start answering some questions and Tenia, also clinging to your arms, corrects you. You give some stories on what you can and have been doing and it seems well but there are times when you see him sneer at you whenever Tenia answers for you. Whenever they ask practical things like allergies, or about your family, she answers and it's shocking because she gives some info about things you never really knew about yourself. She even mentions some of your trips to the hospital, even if it was just for check-ups.

The end of the night comes and you had a pretty good talk but you don;t think her father’s impression of you has changed (whatever it is). Just as you’re all about to walk back to the condo. Tenia’s father gets a call and walks away while you hear him talk about ‘threats’ he shouts at the man the telephone about how they won’t do anything and the argument goes on eventually he comes back and gives some news. He then tells you that he was able to get some bodyguards for Tenia and themselves. The family doesn’t seem shocked but this is shocking news to you. You never knew their situation was dire as this.He then puts a hand on your shoulder and tells you. “If you have the time. I want to talk to you when you have the time.”

In a stark change in attitude and mood, the next time you visit [Niqyph] the younglings rush over to greet the strange Nature Man. Within the loghouse of the Elders, their Wisedoe greets you. She is advanced in age with grey strands of hair combed into a long braid that hangs off her shoulder. She gives a belt in greeting and directs you to sit and listen next to the growing fire. As the embers are prodded she produces a pouch of sand and throws a pinch of it into the fire. The Fire briefly blazes to life reaching the roof and obfuscating the Wisedoe, who reappears when the fire dies down. She appears more lively seeming to channel an energy and force not her own. Her face is painted white and she stands pacing and preaching to you.

In the Beginning of Grandfather Nirn's Rule there was nearly as many tribes of Spirit Folk as there are stars int the skies.. From one edge of the World the Great Spirit created to the other, they graze and feed at our leisure. The Great Spirit had fulfilled her covenant with her people. At that time Grandfather Nirn was merely a kid, but and already shown to be stronger and popular than any his age. When the Lying Chiefin Ulrick sought to bring all peoples under his rule with his Usurping Lie, Grandfather Nirn stood against him. The Lying Chiefin Ulrick preach that the Covenant had named him the right to rule over all others. And Grandfather Nirn pieous as well as strong and popular, convicted him saying that the True Covenant makes no mention of a singular being holding such divine power.

From that point onwards, there was struggle and war. With the combined might of all the people the Great Spirit had created, the Lying King Ulrick was unable to subjugate our proud tribe. Soon the other peoples saw through the Usurping Lie by our people's example and they too resisted the Lying King, until his own tribe could not suffer his words any longer. Grandfather Nirn is said to have kept the Covenant by preventing others from inserting their own words into it. The Covenant is the birthright of all peoples, not a collar to be used against brothers and sisters. Something to be jealously guarded.

Hanging off the staff are feathers, blue, white, and yellow. The colors of the Great Spirit she says, and the very same staff that Grandfather Nirn was gifted when he earned the title.

A breakthrough is not close. As you read on, the concrete ideas you had before about yourself and the native fey are challenged in the alternative perspective of the Dream Lands. The Dream Lands are the purely mental and psychic lens of what the fey deem their private magical lands. In many ways the Dreamlands described in the text and the fey realm are one in the same. The Dreamlands has its own pantheon known as the Great Dreamers, but they resemble powerful immortals rather than true gods because ordinary humans can wound, deceive, and seduce them.

According to the text; to reach the Dreamlands, a traveler must find an unusual stairway in a conventional dream and walk down the Seventy Steps of Light Slumber to face the judgment of powerful gatekeepers named Nasht and Kaman-Tha. If the traveler is able to survive the dangers of the Dreamlands, then they are allowed to descend the Seven Hundred Steps of Deeper Slumber and emerge in the Enchanted Wood. When a person enters the Dreamlands in this way, he leaves his physical body safely in the waking world.

Should they be killed during their travels, the corporeal body will suffer a psychic backlash. Rarely fatal to healthy individuals. But the text does speak of terrible entities and items that can cross the ethereal dream into reality. Waking up causes a person's travel to end, with the traveler having difficulty recalling anything learned or experienced during their time asleep.

The Dreamlands can be physically as well. This requires passing through very dangerous and or mythical areas of the waking world. True death becomes a grim possibility. However, the visitor does receive the prolonged lifespan of native Dreamlanders. Within the realm a phenomenon of temporal flux is experienced. A traveller can spend months or even lifetimes in the Dreamlands during a single night's sleep. Fortunately for dreamers, inhabitants of the Dreamlands are either long-lived or immortal, provided they avoid injury or disease. This is similar to what are called fairy circles, and bring to mind the literary character Rip Van Winkle.

The more secure the House is against invading forces, the bigger presence it will have and the greater influence it will wield have both in the spiritual and in the physical worlds.

Within a nondescript truck and flanked discreetly by the cloaked WTank crawling on the walls, the Astria Porta Components are spirited away into the Madrid hillside. Bob leads Arthur and Jozin to the horses, and after preparing for a few minutes, they leave the village behind. The trip to the Belrose estate is long, but uneventful. Despite the worrying reports, they find no trace of cultists, or any activity.

Finally, late in the afternoon, they reach the Belrose farm. It is just as Arthur remembered it, the farmhouse, the barn. He knows that behind the old buildings, crops grow, just like they used to when he lived here. Arthur feels a breath of relief when you see that his old home is intact, and another one, when he sees the large man sitting on the front porch, sculpting some wood with his pocket knife.

The man is a tall, blonde man, with features that share a striking resemblance with Arthur. When he hears the sound of the hooves of your horses, he stands up, looking worried... And smiles. "Son ! What brings you here ? We didn't expect you !" Once the group gets off their horses, he gives his son a bear hug, then shakes the hands of Jozin and Bob. "Pleased to meet you, you must be Arthur's friends ? I'm Uther, Uther Belrose. Come on in, Maria was making dinner, she won't believe me when I'll tell her who's there !"

The large man excitedly ushers you in. In the kitchen, a dark-haired woman is indeed making some sort of stew. When she turns to see why her husband opened the door, she gasps, and immediately pounces on her son. "My darling boy came back ! How are you ? Are the people in your school treating you well ? Are you eating well, you look a little skinny ! Did you find a girlfriend ?" She releases Arthur from her embrace, and nods at Jozin and Bob. "Thank you for taking care of my son. Please make yourselves at home, the friends of my darling son will always be welcome here."

With the last visit with Belle, she is noticeably happy that you came back. She offers you tea and crumpets and you two chat about weather and how English you can be. How non descript and bland you can be without actually transforming into a two dimensional character. For king and queen and country. Sit back and think of Britain and all that. Time for some fish and chips without salt or spice. Maybe a baked potato and good old subjugation of the other isle. “Hehe more tea?” a good jest and parody as the table lifts into the air. “Pippip cheerio” and you feel your spirits uplifted. In the distance, you spot a very well-dressed horse speaking to some passerby.

Moments later, the horse is enjoying tea and sharing a laugh with the two of you.Thick black smoke fills the room and the walls disappear, only to wash away and reveal that the three of you are on a hot air balloon together. “Hey,” he mouths to you in amongst the deafening winds. “HEY,” he screams. “HAY.” ThunderBolts and Lightning strike the hot air balloon! “Very very frightening.” Belle comments bringing down a lightning rod from her personal study lab “EEy.” Her glasses in disarray as her hair pops lat all angles.

You blink and then you’re back to having tea sans horse. You’re both terribly confused, but have not surprisingly bonded deeply over the shared experience. “Oh yeah that thing. My mom’s a wicked witch and sometimes the local reality bubble pops like so much caffeinated rootbeer. … I mean sometimes she spikes the tea. And I think Clyde's my uncle”

“OH Hey I got some footsie pajamas and some hot cocoa. And like a marathon of mst3k. You want to do a sleep over!?” The horse you swore you say before talking, lazily mews past the window. You can tell it’s the same horse because of it’s English jaunt and water saddle. Seeing the look of confusion on your face Belle continues “Oh that’s just Clyde, I told you about him. He thinks he’s a business horse and my mom is always shouting at him.” In a much lower voice “I think he got polymorphism in the war.” going over to a closet she takes out a sleeping bag with rainbow colors. She sets them close to a fire and TV set up. “We can like totally stay up all night and tell ghost stories” then she runs into the kitchen “we got marshmallows so we can roast them on the fireplace”

Choosing to indulge in Belle’s childest eccentricities rather than upset her, you spend a nice evening. Later in the evening after an insufferable sweet root beer float, she comes out and admits “Look I’m not a romantic kind of person.” She runs finger around her mug “and everyone knows that you run off with everyone into the woods” She gives you a week uncertain smile “I’m not a into those ero games. My heart wouldn’t take it.”

She pulls her covers around herself “In a game it’s easy you just point and click who you want and game does the rest. That's not how it is in real life. You’ve got to put in time and sacrifice and hard work. And I know you wouldn’t slow down. … so go out and have fun for the both of us. You can tell me all about the people you meet and the boys you like. I can’t do it cause i already fucked up once already.” She pops her head out of her covers letting the static cling flick up her hair “But hey the blacksmith seems nice for you”

Belle has in her own way admitted to have feelings for you but will not indulge in them due to previous hang ups, and questions of fidelity. In the morning She cooks a short eggs and toast. She leaves for classes but not before handing you a small vial with a capacitor inside of it “Lightning in a bottle I want to test it out, but don’t have the time.”

"I had an intense workout session at the Martials Arts Dojo that's why I must look so tired. I apologise for my appearance." Dania fidgets with her hair a little. "Well, that and Firefly..."

Dania yawns and tries to cover it up.

"Sorry. I hace a familiar following me... and he's a kid... But he doesn't has his head... And... I can't sleep and I am constantly tired... And... " Silence.

Zav's room is relatively large room with a small kitchen where he was preparing their coffee with small wooden cabinets where it uses to store spices, ingredients and instruments for cooking being these cutlery and pans, right in the front of the kitchen was the small wooden table with the two chairs where Diana was sitting. The kitchen is connected to his room which had a simple desk, some wardrobes supposedly to accommodate his clothes, a small TV and a double bed where there was a little girl sleeping in it, close to his bed there a simple bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet nothing extravagant.

Zav continues to hear the girl from the kitchen where he was brewing the coffee for them, by the visitor preference, he had guided Dania inside his him to a small table with two chairs, where she was sitting in one of the chairs.

As the young knight waited the water to heat up, he took a seat in the vacant chair.

"Firstly why dont tell a little about you two, for how much time you two know each other? and how you two get to know each other? and for last, have you ever mistreated your familiar?" Zav ask in a more professional and formal tone "Take note that familiars are not pets, Miss Nanato they are companions and, yes i would be very obliged to teach you more about spirits, yes."

"I have to say, this is a pretty cozy dorm. It is much better than what I have with my roommate Stephanie. I mean you even have a small kitchen! We have to share a common kitchen in our dorm floor."

As the young knight pours the coffee in a white cup, Dania starts to answers the questions of the handsome young knight. "I met him in Amsterdam. I went exploring with Adal, maybe you have seen him around, he drives a red carriage around the campus, and he even recently restored it... " Dania realizes she's sidetracking. "Sorry. We went into this dark cave and we found him. Well, he found us, and he decided to stay with me. I quote him "I want to go with the pretty lady". He helped us, he could illuminate the darkness and he helped me heal after a fight with some skeletons." Dania continues to explain the actions that took place in the Amsterdam cave such as fighting the undead assassin knight, the Boat ride with Mr. Bones, swimming in the river of the dead, and how we tried to resolve the conflict between the child and his parents. "He decided to come with us rather than going to... heaven? I'm not sure about that. He's just a poor lost soul."

"After that we haven't done much. He just hangs out in my room, and when I get awful thoughts or wake up in the middle of the night, I can see him in his true form: as a headless child. Most of the time I see him as a blue Firefly. I don't think I have mistreated him, but I guess he could feel somewhat neglected."

Hearding the situation the young knight replies politely with a more casual tone, he maybe already knew what could have caused this, but it may be only part of the history.

"It already happened with me once, of course, without a headless child staring at me during the night." Zav chuckles "Once i passed quite a time without interacting with my familiar, once i we gain the ability to share emotions through a empathic link I...." the young knight gives a glance at the little girl sleeping in the bed, he has a melancholy look in his eyes mixed with some nostalgia for the past event "I felt a great torrent of sorrow and loneliness that she was feeling, i remember that i passed few days after that ensuring that i would not abandon her." Erdna takes a sip of the coffee to wet his throat a little, he turns to face the girl a professional look again "Sometimes people just need attention of a friend when they are feeling lonely, it gives them motivation and ensure that they are not alone,you should learn Language of the Spirits, sometimes there are things that words can not speak, but which the spirit expresses freely."

"Is she...?" Dania looks at the small girl in the bed. "Is she a spirit? I thought she was actually a small child!" The cup clings in the small plate as Dania shows excitement. "How does she do that? I mean, look human!" Dania looks at the small girl as she sleeps. "I thought spirits were more like... ghostly? Even transparent. I remember seeing a ghost in that cave and I e punched it because... well, it was my first reaction, and my fist went through him."

Dania notices how the expression of the young handsome guy changed and promptly asks if he's okay. The young knight continues with his story. And Dania nods as he mentions that spirits also need attention.

"We haven't bonded a lot, and I have mixed feeling about him. I am very grateful for all his help during the cave adventure, but he sometimes creeps me out. Also I know he's very angry at his parents, because they abandoned him and he got murdered as a result." Dania ponders about the idea of connecting with an emphatic link... "I don't I could handle that kind of emotions..."

"But... i can do nothing about the emotions, this is something you both need to work out." Finishing his coffee and taking a breath Erdna asks "Now, there is anything more you need ?"

Character Name; Adal Seelieg
Character Backstory; Standing at five foot four inches Adal has russet hair with dark green brown eyes usually seen wearing a poncho like cloak that has the insignia of his house on the back with a smaller version of it on his breast pocket. Hails from a family that deals with large herds of cattle and horse flesh. Most of the family fortune actually comes from owning some of the more famous race tracks and sending their jockies to other race tracks for the prestige. When magic was revealed in Adal's bloodline the young lad found it while riding when he was accosted by a troll in the woods on the family lands deep in the woods.
